Episode # 10686 ~ Cane pushes Michael to confess about Lauren; Lily's world is shaken; Joe urges Sharon to fight for Dylan.

Provided By Suzanne

Cane: Beer, please. I don't care.

Michael: I hope domestic tensions haven't driven you to drink.

Cane: I could probably say the same about you.

Michael: Let's just call this apple juice. No alcohol on hormone therapy. No fun of any kind. There's nothing like a bout of prostate cancer to kill a good time.

Cane: Michael, you're still alive.

Michael: I am still alive.

Cane: So, Lauren told me that you saw the two of us in the park.

Michael: Saw you kissing, you mean.

Cane: It was a mistake. It shouldn't have happened. Please don't be angry.

Michael: Oh, I don't think angry begins to cover how I feel. It's actually quite the opposite.

Lily: So, I spoke to Michael late yesterday. And at first, he tried to hide the truth from me, but I could tell that he knew more about Cane and you than he was letting on. So I pressure him, and then he told me everything, every last detail.

Lauren: I-I'm sorry. You've lost me.

Lily: There's no reason denying it, Lauren. Cane told me everything. He said he didn't want to lie to me anymore.

Lauren: [Sighs] Actually, I'm glad this is out in the open now, because I hate not being able to make eye contact with you over a harmless little kiss.

Lily: You kissed my husband?!

Joe: You saw Avery? She's okay?

Sharon: Yes. Just now at crimson lights.

Phyllis: How do I know this isn't another one of your hallucinations?

Sharon: It was definitely Avery. In Dylan's arms.

Phyllis: Okay, well, I can't imagine you'd make that up.

Sharon: Your sister's alive.

Phyllis: Thank god.

Joe: Well...

Phyllis: Well what?

Joe: I believe someone in this room falsely accused me of something and owes me an apology.

Phyllis: An apology? Really?

Joe: Yes, Phyllis. That's what you do when you make a mistake.

Phyllis: Okay. You want an apology. Um... how's this? Joe, I am so sorry for slapping you.

Joe: You never slapped -- [Chuckles]

Dylan: You'd really leave Genoa city?

Avery: What choice do I have?

Dylan: You stay and fight and you stand up to Joe.

Avery: What, and get more of this? It isn't worth it.

Dylan: It isn't worth taking him on, holding him accountable for harassing you?

Avery: He's done a lot more than harass me.

Dylan: Okay, what does that mean? Was when he hit you when you were married or is there something else?

Avery: [Sighs]

Dylan: The blood at your place -- was it because of Joe?

Avery: No.

Dylan: Because if it was, so help me god, I will --

Avery: No, it wasn't Joe.

Dylan: Then -- then what? There was some kind of struggle. If it wasn't Joe, who was it?

Avery: Just leave it alone, Dylan!

Dylan: You got to give me more, Avery. I'm just trying to understand.

Avery: There's nothing to understand.

Dylan: The blood wasn't nothing. You disappearing without a word wasn't nothing. We all thought we'd lost you. We thought Joe might have --

Avery: What?

Dylan: Or is that what you wanted us to think?

Avery: What are you saying?

Dylan: Did -- did you -- did you stage your place like you might have been fighting for your life? Did you plant that blood there?

Avery: What?! What are you talking about?

Dylan: To set Joe up.

Avery: Set him up?!

Dylan: Are you trying to frame him for your murder?

Lily: Are you gonna tell me what happened?

Lauren: [Sighs] Look, Cane and I are business partners. The kiss was -- it was nothing.

Lily: Whoa, wait, wait, wait. I know how this goes. The kiss was a fluke, right? It was just a one-time thing. It was like a spontaneous combustion.

Lauren: It was.

Lily: Oh, yeah. It was so spontaneous that nobody saw that coming. "Oh, little old me? I would never be into Cane. How could you even suggest such a thing? I would never cheat on my husband."

Lauren: I didn't.

Lily: Well, I guess we have two different definitions of cheating, then.

Lauren: Look, it happened. I can't take it back. But it will never happen again.

Lily: Why would I ever believe you?

Lauren: Okay, look, I understand why you are upset with me.

Lily: Oh, thank you. Now I can really sleep at night. I won't have a husband next to me, but no big deal.

Lauren: Oh, come on. He doesn't want me. He wants you. You are the love of his life, you and the kids. But lily, he feels the distance between you, and he knows you don't trust him.

Lily: Wow. I really wonder why.

Lauren: Are you listening to yourself? All you do is you come down on him. You are pushing him away.

Lily: Don't even try to blame this on me. This is my fault now?

Lauren: It's not about fault.

Lily: Oh, you would love that, wouldn't you? Just wipe the blame away. But you know what? This is on both of you.

Lauren: Okay, don't do this. Do not ruin something great for no reason.

Lily: This conversation is over. And don't even think about telling Cane. Maybe you should leave something between a husband and his wife.

Lauren: Oh, my god.

Cane: You can't possibly be okay with this.

Michael: But I am. Things are different now.

Cane: You mean because of your cancer.

Michael: I don't think I have to tell you that it changes your perspective.

Cane: All right. The way you're talking to me right now, it sounds like you are completely detached from the situation.

Michael: I'm at peace with it. Oh, and in case you're worried, you can rest assured that lily will not hear about that kiss from me.

Cane: Well, uh, all I want to do is forget that it happened.

Michael: There's no reason to do that, Cane.

Cane: Uh, I'm sorry. I-I-I don't understand what you're trying to say to me.

Michael: Lauren is under an enormous amount of pressure. She turned to you for comfort. That's a huge load of my mind.

Cane: Are you saying what I think you're saying? You want me to sleep with your wife?!

Michael: I want my wife to be happy.

Avery: Why would I do that? Why on earth would I set Joe up for my murder?

Dylan: You said it yourself that he's not gonna walk away so easily, that he's never gonna be held accountable for the things he's done.

Avery: So you think I'm gonna go pull a "gone girl" and -- and wait for him to be carted off to prison?!

Dylan: Avery, if anybody's smart enough, it's you.

Avery: Oh, my god. All the work that I've done with the innocence foundation, all the people that I freed who were wrongly accused. You really think that I would set him up so he could go to jail for the rest of his life for something he didn't do?

Dylan: People do crazy things when they're pushed to edge.

Avery: You think I would frame him for a crime? That goes against every fiber of my being. How much would I have to hate him to do that?

Dylan: I don't know. You tell me. How much -- how much would you have to hate him?

Avery: Dylan, I got worked up. I-I had all these thoughts swirling around my head, and I-I knocked over a bowl. And I-I cut my finger trying to clean it up.

Dylan: Your finger?

Avery: My finger! Yes.

Dylan: That's a lot of blood. Why was the door open when you left?

Avery: I was in hurry.

Dylan: No, because you were scared. You were so scared of Joe that you would leave your family, your friends, and the practice that you've built.

Avery: [Sighs] Michael can get along just fine without me.

Dylan: [Sighs] What -- what about Phyllis? After all those years apart, you have a relationship with her now.

Avery: I'll find a way to keep in touch.

Dylan: How? By running from town to town, hoping Joe doesn't find you? Is this really how you want to spend the rest of your life?

Avery: No, of course not.

Dylan: No? Then stop him right now. You don't have to do it alone. I will be there for you.

Avery: No, you won't. No, you won't. That's half the reason I'm leaving town is so you don't go off and do something stupid.

Dylan: I can control my temper.

Avery: Oh, really? How many times have you punched Joe?

Dylan: Apparently not enough.

Avery: Dylan, no.

Dylan: Stop. Stop. There's a way to do this. Okay? We're gonna go to the cops. We're gonna show them the bruises, get a restraining order. We're gonna make sure everybody in town knows about it, and we'll force that bastard back to Chicago.

Avery: That's a nice fantasy, Dylan.

Dylan: There's no reason it can't become a reality. One way or another, Joe will be out of your life. But if you leave, he's always gonna be there. He's gonna be in your mind. He's gonna be looking over your shoulder. Don't let this guy win, Avery. So many people would be -- be upset if you left. I know that... you know, we're not together anymore. But I would miss you. Please. Please don't go.

Sharon: I don't understand why you just attacked him when we know that he had nothing to do with Avery's so-called disappearance.

Phyllis: How do you know about this? Did she explain what happened to her?

Sharon: I didn't talk to her. I left before she saw me.

Joe: What, you saw her in Dylan's arms and you didn't confront her?

Phyllis: I'm glad she didn't. Maybe Avery would have told her something you didn't want anyone to hear.

Joe: The only thing she would have said is that I'm innocent.

Phyllis: You know what? You may not have abducted my sister, but that does not make you innocent, not by a long shot. We will not forget about your lies and your dirty dealings and your all-around sliminess. If you had a brain, you would pack up and you would get out before someone really messes up that pretty little face of yours.

Sharon: Sometimes I just don't understand that woman.

Joe: Phyllis, I understand. It's you that I don't.

Sharon: Me? Why? What did I do?

Joe: Nothing. That's the problem. You just snuck out of crimson lights like a little mouse and didn't feel like fighting Avery for your man?

Sharon: I trust Dylan. I think he just needed some time alone with Avery.

Joe: You're really that naive? Come on, Sharon. You're a bad girl at heart. And bad girls take what they want. Don't let them get away with this.

Cane: You want me to have sex with your wife?

Michael: Soon to be ex-wife.

Cane: What difference does that make?! Lauren and I do not have that kind of relationship.

Michael: You obviously find each other attractive. And that kiss.

Cane: Was a mistake. I told you it was a mistake.

Michael: But it wasn't a mistake.

Cane: Have you gone and lost your mind?

Michael: No, my mind is fine. It's the rest of me that's a mess. I'm helping Lauren.

Cane: You're helping her by, what, passing her off to another man?

Michael: She'll do better without me.

Cane: Says you. What does Lauren say? What does lily say about this?

Michael: Lily?

Cane: Yes, my wife, lily, the one you want me to cheat on.

Michael: Yes, your wife. We both seem to have forgotten about her. I know you're having problems.

Cane: It doesn't mean that I'm available! It does not mean I'm available. So let me make this crystal clear to you. I love my wife. I love my children. I love my family. And I don't want to fool around. Do you understand what I'm saying to you?

Michael: Are you happy, Cane? Do you smile when she's around? Do you feel that life's better when you're together?

Cane: We are fine. We are trying to work things out.

Michael: Yeah. I used to think that was possible, but once things go wrong, boom.

Cane: Okay, all right. Don't impose your way of thinking on me. Do you understand what I'm saying to you? Just 'cause your marriage is having problems that you don't want to fix and you want to trash it, fine. Don't think I'm gonna do it to mine.

Michael: [Chuckles] [Sighs]

Joe: The two of them are probably planning their future together right now, ways for Dylan to dump you.

Sharon: I don't believe that.

Joe: Well, in your heart, you do. I'll tell you what. The two of us could send them a hell of a message.

Sharon: But that's the way

you think. That's not the way I think. I don't want any part of it.

Joe: Coming from the woman who lit a torch to the Newman ranch. That was you, wasn't it?

Sharon: I don't know what you're talking about.

Joe: Of course not. But in your heart, you do, and you know you need to stake your claim.

Sharon: Even if I do have a little bit of insecurity, I-I'm not gonna let it control me. When I've done that in the past, it's never worked out. In fact, it's been a complete disaster.

Joe: Well, don't say I didn't warn you.

Sharon: Well, now that you have, I'm gonna go home. Dylan's going to be there waiting for me.

Joe: We'll see.

Phyllis: Oh, my god. You're okay. You okay? Really?

Avery: Yes, yes. Except for my finger and a few bruises, I'm fine.

Dylan: No, she's not fine. Joe's got her spooked.

Avery: [Sighs]

Phyllis: No wonder. Look at you. He's gonna answer to me for these. He seemed a little offended when I slapped him.

Avery: You slapped Joe?

Phyllis: Yes, I did. That smug look on his face when Sharon told me that you were alive and okay. Yes.

Dylan: That's how you found out? I didn't realize she saw us. Was she okay?

Phyllis: You know, honestly, I didn't notice. I just -- I had you on my mind, and I came here as soon as I got the news.

Avery: Thank you. That means a lot to me.

Dylan: It means a lot, but not enough.

Phyllis: What's he talking about?

Avery: I-I decided that coming home might not have been such a good idea.

Dylan: She was just about to skip town again.

Phyllis: What? You were gonna leave me and your niece without even saying goodbye?

Lily: Hey.

Cane: Hey.

Lily: Here you are. Wasn't sure you were coming by.

Cane: Why wouldn't I?

Lily: I thought you might be working late with Lauren.

Cane: No, I haven't heard from her in hours.

Lily: Oh, well, you missed all the excitement here.

Cane: Yeah? What happened?

Lily: There was this wife. She caught her husband checking in with another woman. Then she practically ripped their eyes out. But can you really blame her? And I was just thinking how happy I am that I have a husband that I can completely trust and that we don't have secrets from each other. Right, honey?

Cane: Michael told you?

Lily: No, the tramp he's married to did. How could you do this?

Cane: It was a mistake and it meant absolutely nothing.

Lily: People don't kiss for nothing.

Cane: Lily, it was a mistake.

Lily: I don't want to hear any excuses. I already heard them all from Lauren.

Cane: I'm not giving you excuses, okay? You want me to share things with you and tell you the truth. I'm telling you the truth right now. Lauren is no threat to our marriage whatsoever.

Lily: You know what I can't stand is that you made me feel stupid for thinking that you had feelings for her. And then you turn around and you kiss her and you cover it up afterwards just to hide your own guilt.

Cane: I'm trying to talk to you, okay, and you don't want to listen. And you wonder -- you wonder why I don't share things with you. It's because of the way you're reacting, the way you're reacting to me right now.

Lily: Do not even go there. You are lying to yourself. You and I both know there was nothing innocent about this.

Cane: Lily, lily, lily...

Lauren: Oh. There you are. I just went by the boutique, and I've got great news. [Sighs] You talked to lily.

Cane: Why did you tell her about the kiss?

Phyllis: I knew it was too good to be true. You and I were never meant to be sisters.

Dylan: Phyllis, this has nothing to do with you.

Phyllis: Obviously. You never gave me a second thought. Or poor summer who worried sick that someone else she loved might have been killed.

Avery: Okay, I didn't think it through. I'll call her.

Phyllis: No, you know what? I already did. And I will tell her you're gonna leave her anyway. Is -- is this my punishment for leaving you all those years ago?

Avery: No, no! I just need to get away.

Phyllis: You know, that's what cowards do. Avery bailey Clark, great liberator, can't even free herself from a man without slinking off into the night. You want to slink away, you go ahead. You see if I care.

Avery: Phyllis, wait.

Dylan: You can fix it. You have the power. Unless you let Joe take it away from you.

Avery: So, how do we bring Joe down? [Crying]

Joe: Oh, isn't this a nice, little, cozy reunion. Mind if I join?

Dylan: Not unless you want to spend the next few years in prison. You crossed a line. And we're gonna make sure you don't come anywhere near Avery again.

Joe: I crossed a line? I was the one who was assaulted, falsely accused of murder, which, by the way, didn't even happen.

Avery: You threatened me. You got violent with me.

Joe: Is that what you told him?

Dylan: She told me how you hit her when you were married.

Joe: If that was true, then why did she seduce me last night, Dylan?

Avery: Wh--

Joe: The wine, the music, that sexy blouse that hugs her in all the right places. She mention how she unbuttoned it, ripped my shirt off, and threw me on the couch?

Avery: I was mocking you. I was toying with you the way you toy with me.

Joe: She couldn't keep her hands off me, Dylan. I was the one who stopped it. And if I didn't, we would have done it right there and then.

Avery: Oh, my god.

Joe: And it would have been so, so good.

Howard: Officer Howard, GCPD. Is there a problem here?

Dylan: I see what's going on. Joe's putting on a show for GC's finest. Nice try. You have no cause to file charges.

Joe: Not against you. Officer, arrest this woman.

Avery: [Sighs] I can just hear what Joe's telling Paul in there.

Dylan: Whatever it is, we'll fight it and we'll beat it.

Avery: I hope you're speaking figuratively.

Dylan: He tried to provoke me this time, and I held back, didn't I?

Avery: And what about next time?

[Door opens]

Paul: All right.

Dylan: I hope you didn't listen to a word this guy said.

Avery: He has a tendency to misrepresent, like, the way he's milking the use of this Cane he doesn't need.

Joe: Now, you see that? I told you she'd say that. Try to downplay this whole thing so she doesn't have to answer to her crime.

Avery: You know damn well I didn't deliberately push you off that balcony. He wouldn't stop kissing me. I shoved him. It was a defensive move, an accident.

Paul: You know, this is really sounding like a case of "he said, she said" to me.

Joe: Yeah, well, what she said is wrong.

Dylan: Where's your proof?

Paul: You have an answer for that?

Joe: That's your job to find the evidence. Unless, of course, you want to ignore your responsibilities as an officer of the law to protect your son and his ex-fiancée.

Phyllis: You know, I thought you of all people would be on my side, but no. You kept me in the dark just like she did.

Michael: Who's she? What are you talking about?

Phyllis: You know perfectly well who I'm talking about.

Michael: Well, pretend I don't and enlighten me.

Phyllis: Avery ditching Genoa city.

Michael: Avery? Avery, my law partner, Avery?

Phyllis: Do not pretend. You think you are the best liar in the world, but you are terrible at it. My sister's clients are everything to her. She would never take off without alerting you.

Michael: Okay, I swear on my life, which I value very highly at the moment, that I had no idea that Avery was gone.

Phyllis: She's not gone. She's here.

Michael: You just said she was gone.

Phyllis: She's back, but she's leaving again, this time for good.

Michael: Why?

Phyllis: To get away from her stalker.

Michael: Avery has a stalker?

Phyllis: Yeah, and I'll give you a hint. Gorgeous face, first name rhymes with "whoa" as in "whoa, I married a psycho."

Michael: She's running away from Joe.

Phyllis: [Sighs] Yeah. How selfish is that?

Michael: What, to want to stay alive?

Phyllis: No, you know what? To not allow any of us in on it, to make us think that she was dead. Really?

Michael: Sometimes when the situation gets desperate, you are forced to make hard choices.

Phyllis: Uh-oh. Now we're talking about you. Okay. What have you done now?

Lauren: I would never have said a word, but the way that lily was talking, I figured she already knew.

Cane: Wait, wait, wait. What do you mean the way she -- the way lily was talking?

Lauren: She tricked me into telling her the truth.

Lily: Are you kidding me right now? Are you trying to embarrass me?

Cane: I'm not trying to embarrass you. You're doing that for yourself with the way you're reacting.

Lily: Oh, by telling it like it is?

Cane: No, by trying to turn something that isn't real into reality.

Lily: So I made the kiss up then?

Lauren: Please, lily. Let it go. We have.

Lily: Oh, would you be able to let it go if your husband was working side by side with a woman who did nothing but throw herself at other men?

Cane: All right, I can't do this anymore. I'm gonna take a room here tonight, and when you calm down, we can have a conversation. But right now I just can't be around you.

Lily: How funny. I feel the same way about you.

Joe: First you ignore Dylan's assault on me. Just sweep it under the rug. And now you ignore Avery's attempted murder.

Paul: I'm not ignoring anybody.

Dylan: That's good. Take a look at these. Joe's most recent handiwork. I had an officer take the photos for evidence.

Joe: Come on. You know how it is. When a woman's on top of you and you get a little worked out.

Avery: Oh, my god. You were worked up because I found out you could walk! I told you I didn't love you and I never would, so you resorted to violence! Just like you did before.

Paul: He did this before?

Avery: Yes, he did. He hit me when we were married.

Joe: Once. What about the time Dylan hit her in the face at the underground?

Avery: That was an accident.

Joe: I don't believe in accidents!

Paul: Well, you did right after your fall. Now you're changing your story? That doesn't make you very credible. Not to me or any other officer, related to Dylan or not.

Joe: Yeah, well, we'll see about that.

Avery: Just so you know, I'm filing a restraining order against you.

Joe: Fine. You know what? I'll just file one against him.

Dylan: Go ahead.

Paul: Most likely, the court will grant both. So why don't you both do each other a favor and walk away now?

Avery: Why don't you walk all the way to Chicago, Joe?

Joe: Yeah, or what, Avery? Huh? You already cheated on me. And then you make me feel like you still have feelings for me and then basically threw me out. You know, face it. You're no different than I. And you know it.

Phyllis: There must be a way for you and Lauren to get past this.

Michael: Impossible.

Phyllis: What? Are you dying? Are you dead? What's going on? I mean, because as far as I know, you're not going to die. At least not from prostate cancer. Unless there's another prognosis I haven't heard about.

Michael: No. No. With hormone therapy, I will be able to live a long, unhappy life.

Phyllis: Michael, stop feeling sorry for yourself.

Michael: You tell me that when you're a eunuch.

Phyllis: Stop it! There are people dying from this disease every day. Wives losing husbands, kids losing daddies. You need to be grateful to god that you've caught this early enough so that you can still be on this planet and you don't have to put Lauren and fen through the hell of being without you.

Michael: Oh, they'll still be in hell. [Chuckles]

Phyllis: Only because you're pulling away. And why? Because you can't be a stud in bed? Is that all you think your marriage is about? You think that's all it means to Lauren?

Michael: Oh, yeah, 'cause that's every woman's dream -- to have a lifelong platonic relationship with their husband.

Phyllis: Honey, you're not even done with your treatment. This inactivity could only be temporary.

Michael: What if it isn't?

Phyllis: Then you change. You adapt.

Michael: Lauren shouldn't have to. And I've made sure of it.

Phyllis: You made sure of it how?

Michael: I just did, okay? And, unfortunately, some other people might have been hurt in the process.

Phyllis: Okay. You're not gonna tell me about that, are you? What can I do to help you?

Michael: Remember how much you love Avery and that she's human, too, and, uh, mnh... stop taking so much for granted.

Phyllis: Yeah.

Lauren: I'm sorry. I-I really hope you can get through to her.

Cane: It's all right. Given a little bit of time and space, I believe she'll come around.

Lauren: I used to think that Michael would come around. I mean, not that I think that you and lily --

Cane: It's okay. You don't have to say anything. I understand. I, uh, you know, I talked to Michael earlier.

Lauren: You did? What did he say?

Cane: He told me something that I think you should know.

[Door opens]

Dylan: [Sighs]

[Door closes]

Sharon: Hi.

Dylan: I'm sorry I'm late. I should have called. I was with --

Sharon: Avery. I know.

Dylan: Phyllis told me you saw us.

Sharon: I poured us a couple glasses of wine. You want to sit down and talk about it?

Dylan: You're not angry after I kind of pushed you out the door?

Sharon: You were really worried about Avery. You needed to find out what happened, to talk to her. Is she all right?

Dylan: She will be.

Sharon: Well, good. I'm glad for her, and for you. I know you care about her.

Dylan: Well, thank you for understanding.

Sharon: I can't very well ask you not to care. In the end, it will be entirely up to you whether you want to stay with me or you want to go back to Avery.

Avery: Are you still speaking to me?

Phyllis: I shouldn't be. But I may have acted on impulse once or twice in my life, so I can't be too hard on you for packing up and leaving town. Just, uh, stay in touch with me while you're on the road, okay?

Avery: Actually, I'm going to stay.

Phyllis: Decided you couldn't live without me?

Avery: Yeah, something like that.

Phyllis: Look, what I don't understand is why you took off alone without coming to me first. You should know by now that I want to be there for you --

Avery: I know that.

Phyllis: ...When you're in trouble.

Avery: I-I know. I was embarrassed for being so wrong about Joe, for defending him to you, lashing out when all you were trying to do was protect me.

Phyllis: Honey, I'm glad that you see him for what he is.

Avery: Well, I should have seen it a lot sooner. Phyllis, there's something that I haven't told anybody until today. Last night wasn't the first time that Joe got violent with me.

Phyllis: He hit you?

Avery: It was a long time ago.

Phyllis: I don't care. There's no moratorium on that. We have to make him pay for that before he hurts another woman.

Joe: Problem?

Lily: [Scoffs] You could say that. Do you think I'm attractive?

Lauren: Okay, you're scaring me. Please tell me whatever Michael said to you has nothing to do with his health.

Cane: No, it is, uh, something else. And I think it's best that you hear it from him. Excuse me.

Lauren: What's going on? Cane said that you spoke to him earlier and he was very troubled by it.

Michael: Hmm. Yeah. It's not important anymore.

Lauren: Really? Is anything important to you? For your information, our marriage is falling apart, and now Cane and lily are having problems. And part of that is due to you. What did you say to her? And why did you have to raise her suspicions about Cane and me?

Michael: I didn't tell her anything about you and Cane kissing.

Lauren: She found out about it, and now she's furious with both of us.

Michael: Hmm. I'm sorry about that. I truly feel for her.

Lauren: So you have sympathy for someone in this mess? [Scoffs] Who are you anymore?

Joe: What kind of question is that?

Lily: A direct one.

Joe: You know I find you attractive. I've said it in the past, and you've chastised me for it. Remember?

Lily: Well, not today. Today I need to hear it.

Joe: Okay, I'll say it again. Lily, I find you very, very attractive. W-w-where you going?

Lily: Home to my kids. But thank you for the nice words.

Dylan: As far as I'm concerned, I've made my choice. I'll always care about Avery. But I am committed to you now. There's no looking back.

Sharon: I was hoping you would say that. Actually, you know, I was pretty confident.

Dylan: [Laughing] You were?

Sharon: I was -- I was positive. [Chuckles] That's because of you. You make me feel safe.

Dylan: Well, it's, uh, been a lot time since I've been able to do that for anybody.

Sharon: What can I do for you? How about a glass of wine?

Dylan: You know, it's, um... it's been a long day. All I need is you.

Sharon: That's an easy one.

Paul: [Sighs] [Sighs]

Phyllis: All right, you know what we do? We turn the tables on him. We make him think that he has a stalker. Anonymous letters start to arrive. Presents are placed at his doorstep. We take a knife. We stick it into a heart, pulsating, blood.

Avery: Okay, all right, all right, enough with the sick mind, Stephen King. I am not stooping to Joe's level. I'm better than him.

Marco: No question about it. Your rival is dead.
