Episode # 10668 ~ Sharon asks Dylan about their relationship; Fen takes his frustrations out on Michael & Lauren.
Provided By Suzanne
Sharon: Dylan? Dylan?
Dylan: Looking for me?
Sharon: Oh! I woke up and you weren't there, and so I thought I would catch you before you left.
Dylan: Well, I wouldn't leave without saying goodbye.
Sharon: Well, you wouldn't be the first man to ever do that to a woman.
Dylan: Forget those guys. [Sighs] I'm not like them.
Sharon: No, you're not.
Sage: I wasn't expecting you.
Nick: Yeah, I just wanted to see how you and, uh... well, to see how you're doing.
Sage: I'm fine. No morning sickness.
Nick: You know that doesn't just happen in the morning, right?
Sage: Right. 'Cause you're kind of the expert on pregnancy, aren't you?
Nick: I don't know about that, but...
Sage: [Chuckles]
Nick: I remember some things.
Sage: Mm-hmm. Like morning sickness can last all day long. Something to look forward to for the next nine months.
Nick: It's gonna go by so fast. You won't believe it.
Sage: That is such a guy thing to say.
Nick: [Chuckles] Okay, uh, I may not know what it's like to be pregnant. But I do know some things. I know you can't stay here once the baby gets here.
Sage: I wasn't planning on it.
Nick: Well, have you thought about it? Where you're gonna go once the baby's born?
Sage: Whoa. Nick. If you think I'm gonna move in with you, forget it.
Fenmore: Misdemeanor solicitation? Why didn't you tell me about this?
Lauren: I wanted to.
Fenmore: Oh, it was dad. He's the one who wanted to keep me in the dark, just like he did with his cancer. Is -- is at his office? I need to talk to him.
Lauren: I don't know where he is.
Fenmore: Well, he left the apartment early headed somewhere.
Lauren: He, uh... he didn't leave early.
Fenmore: Uh, when I showed up, you said he wasn't home.
Lauren: He wasn't.
Fenmore: Okay. C-can you just, like, stop with the secrets and tell me what's going on?
Lauren: Your dad moved out, honey. In fact, he's living here.
Fenmore: What's his room number?
Lauren: I-I don't know.
Fenmore: Never mind. I'll find it myself.
Kyle: We were wondering if there was anything new about Austin's murderer.
Kevin: I figured you'd want to give them any information you discovered yourself.
Paul: As opposed to, uh, hacking into my computer and getting it yourself?
Kevin: [Scoffs] I would never do that.
Paul: Close the door. What I'm about to tell you is not for public consumption. Is that understood?
Kyle: Yeah.
Summer: Yeah, of course.
Paul: The only reason I'm telling you is you might be able to take some precautions.
Summer: Are we in danger?
Paul: Our lab was able to build a partial profile from the DNA we found on the envelope that fen gave me. There was a match to a wanted criminal in the FBI database.
Kevin: If he's on the FBI's radar, he must be bad news.
Paul: Well, bad news might be an understatement.
Summer: Who is this person?
Paul: He's the head of a south American drug cartel.
Kevin: A drug lord?
Paul: He's known for leaving no witnesses. Just dead bodies.
Kyle: Whoa, why is a guy like that after us?
Paul: Well, that's the million-dollar question, Kyle. One I intend to find out.
Summer: Fen drugged us and then left us at the mercy of some murdering drug lord? [Sighs]
Lauren: Fen. Fen, wait. Please.
Michael: Fenmore!
Fenmore: You moved out?
Michael: Son --
Fenmore: Answer me, answer me, dad. Are you and mom separated?
Michael: Yes.
Fenmore: Okay, so why didn't you tell me?
Michael: Well, we agreed we weren't gonna say anything to you yet, at least I thought we agreed.
Lauren: Fen showed up in town. I didn't know he was coming.
Michael: And you just had to tell him?
Lauren: What did you want me to do? Lie?
Fenmore: Look, stop talking about me like I'm not here and just tell me what the hell's going on with you two.
Summer: I can't believe fen put us in danger like that.
Kyle: Even clean and sober, the dude's messed up.
Kevin: Lay off of fen, you guys. He didn't intentionally put us in jeopardy.
Kyle: Nobody put a gun to his head and made him drug us.
Kevin: He was being blackmailed!
Summer: Yeah, well, he should have told us that.
Kyle: Yeah, instead of putting some random drug in your punch.
Kevin: There was a drug lord who was scaring the crap out of him.
Kyle: Paul, what do you know about this guy?
Paul: I'm telling you, not much. He hasn't been seen or heard from in years. The authorities have no idea where he is. They don't even have a photograph of the guy.
Summer: How is that even possible?
Kyle: Yeah, seriously. You can't even walk out of your house these days without some security camera getting a shot of you.
Paul: Well, apparently Marco Annicelli is very good about outsmarting everybody.
Kevin: Marco Annicelli? That's who we're dealing with?
Kyle: Wait, you know him?
Kevin: Yeah, we used to be on the same bowling team. No, I don't know him! I know of him.
Summer: What do you know about him?
Kevin: There are just lots of stories about bad things happening to people who claim they've seen him. It's become legend.
Paul: Or myth.
Summer: If this maniac is half as dangerous as you guys say he is and he's the one that's after us --
Kyle: Summer, Paul said that the guy hasn't been seen in years, right? I mean, why would he come out of hiding now? To terrorize us? That doesn't make sense.
Paul: Well, I really don't think he would come out to kill a kid making a documentary about the dirty, little secrets of Genoa city's elite.
Kevin: So then why was his DNA on the envelope the killer sent to fen?
Paul: Well, Kevin, that's what I'm gonna find out.
Michael: I am sorry you had to find out about my arrest this way. Your mother and I decided that we'd like to get through the rest of the school year before we told you about it.
Fenmore: It was online. Didn't you think I'd see it?
Michael: Yeah, well, we were hoping you weren't reading the
GC buzz out in Arizona.
Lauren: We didn't think you'd be home until the end of the semester.
Fenmore: So you just -- you decided to just keep me out of the loop just like you did with your cancer?
Michael: We didn't do it to hurt you.
Fenmore: I know you didn't. No, you're trying to protect me, just like you're trying to protect mom.
Michael: No.
Fenmore: Come on, dad, that is why you're doing everything you can to push her away.
Michael: Fenmore, that's not --
Fenmore: Look, the separation, the moving out, this hooker -- you're afraid of what this cancer is gonna do to you, to her. And I get it. I fully get that. It has got to be out-of-your-mind scary. With this cancer, you're wondering if you're gonna live or die, if you'll ever be the same person you were, if -- if it's gonna come back.
Michael: I'm coping just fine.
Fenmore: But you don't have to do it alone.
Lauren: I keep trying to tell him that.
Fenmore: Just come home. All right, we -- we can work this out. Mom and I, we both want to be there for you.
Michael: No. No! Look, I've explained to your mother that my leaving had nothing to do with the cancer. She knows why I left.
Lauren: And you're gonna stick to that story?
Michael: It's the truth.
Lauren: Then you say it. You tell our son why you're ending our marriage.
Nick: I wasn't asking you to live with me.
Sage: No, I-I know that. I mean... you weren't?
Nick: No, I-I just think you need to consider where you're gonna live after the baby's born.
Sage: I don't want you to feel obligated to me. We aren't even dating anymore.
Nick: That's only because I needed to focus on faith.
Sage: And you still do. And I need to find a place to live once the baby's born. And that's my responsibility, not yours.
Nick: I want to help.
Sage: That's so sweet, but, um, I can take care of myself. Constance's will will be settled soon, and I'm gonna have my own money and...
Nick: I thought you told me about the pregnancy because you wanted me to be involved.
Sage: I kneejerked that. I got a little excited. I think we need to be realistic about what my having your baby means.
Nick: It means I get to be a dad again.
Sage: And faith is gonna have a little brother or sister. How's she gonna feel about that?
Nick: It's gonna take some getting used to.
Sage: She's gonna hate that we're having this baby.
Nick: [Sighs]
Sage: What about Sharon?
Nick: What about her?
Sage: She switched Summer's DNA because she couldn't stand the thought of you having a baby with someone else.
Nick: Sharon's in a much better place now than she was then.
Sage: If that's true, then why did you want full custody? I've seen the lengths you've gone to to protect your kids from Sharon. She's not a killer, but...
Nick: Listen to me. Sharon is not gonna do anything to you or this baby.
Sage: I don't want to take any chances.
Nick: What are you saying?
Sage: I think we should keep this pregnancy between us for now.
Nick: Are you really that worried?
Sage: When Sharon's off her meds, she's not only unstable. She's dangerous.
Sharon: I'm glad you're not that kind of guy.
Dylan: [Chuckles] Well, you say that now, but you haven't seen me at my worst.
Sharon: Well, you've seen me at mine, and you're still here. What's wrong?
Dylan: We just -- we need to talk.
Sharon: About us?
Dylan: Just about last night.
Sharon: Are you having regrets?
Dylan: No. I just want to be careful. I've made -- I've made so many mistakes.
Sharon: Well, if I'm pressuring you into anything, then...
Dylan: It's not you. It's me. It's just this thing I do, always rushing in and trying to rescue people, you know. I've done it with Chelsea and Avery and now... and now you.
Sharon: You make that sound like a bad thing.
Dylan: Well, according to, uh, my shrink at the VA, it's got its downside. You know, apparently it's not, um... [Sighs] It's not uncommon with vets. It's even got its own name. White knight syndrome.
Sharon: That doesn't sound so terrible.
Dylan: Yeah, but it's why I charge into relationships. You know, and I get this -- this crazy need to just -- to fix things. And it -- it looks like caring, but I don't know, it's just... I'm just trying to fill this -- this space inside me, but... that's what the doctor says, and what's the point in going to see the doctor if you're not gonna try to listen to the doctor?
Sharon: Are you saying that your feelings for me aren't real?
Dylan: I just want to make sure that I don't make the same mistakes that I've made in the past. Because if I do, you're gonna end up hurt. And that is the last thing that I want.
Sharon: I'm sorry if I made you feel like I needed to be saved. I guess that's a bad habit of mine.
Dylan: You think that'd make us a perfect match.
Sharon: [Sighs] I think your doctor would disagree.
Dylan: You're probably right.
Sharon: Well, so, I mean, if you need some time, then -- then, you know, go ahead. Just take all the time you need to figure this out, and then we can see where this is going.
Dylan: [Sighs] That could, uh, that could take awhile. In case you hadn't noticed, I'm not real good about talking about my feelings.
Sharon: Okay, well, I don't mind. I don't mind just being your friend in the meantime.
Dylan: Friend?
Sharon: Hmm.
Dylan: Means no...?
Sharon: No pressure and no strings.
Dylan: And no chance of letting you down?
Sharon: You've never let me down in the past. Quite the opposite, Dylan. You were the one who believed in my innocence when everyone else had doubts. And even when you found out I sent Avery that text, you still stood by me.
Dylan: [Sighs] I knew you were trying to protect me.
Sharon: Well, it was stupid, and that was impulsive. Just like the night I broke my house arrest and I went to the underground. All of my friends and my family and the police, they questioned my judgment, but not you. You understood why I did that.
Dylan: I know sometimes you get an urge so strong that you feel like you're gonna explode if you don't act on it.
Sharon: And it just makes perfect sense in that moment. Like last night. Or maybe it's like you said. You were just trying to save me from some real or imagined demon. But either way, I can't imagine that our making love was bad or unhealthy. Of course, given my history, I may not be a very good judge of that.
Dylan: Yeah, me neither.
[Cell phone rings]
Dylan: Stitch, what's up? What? When? All right. Yeah. Well, thanks for letting me know.
Sharon: What is it?
Dylan: There is new evidence in Austin and Courtney's murder. Paul may have a lead on the real killer.
Sharon: Oh, my God.
Dylan: Yeah. I'm gonna follow up with Paul. I want to see what's going on.
Sharon: Yeah, of course.
Dylan: I'll call you, okay?
[Door closes]
Kevin: If Annicelli is responsible for Courtney and Austin's murders...
Summer: He could still be in town, then.
Kyle: Right, and we have no idea what he even looks like. He could be right under our noses and we wouldn't even know it.
Summer: You know, what I don't get is why this guy would want to kill Austin. I mean, he was a bartender who wanted to make movies.
Kyle: I don't know. Maybe some of those dirty, little secrets he dug up for his movie weren't so little. He could have uncovered something he wasn't aware of --
Kevin: About a south American drug lord?
Kyle: Kevin, I mean, this whole thing is insane, all right? Anything's possible.
Summer: If fen would have just been honest with us from the beginning about being blackmailed, then none of this would have even happened.
Kevin: Fen made a mistake. He's trying to make up for it now.
Kyle: So we're supposed to be grateful that he came forward after the fact?
Kevin: Okay, well, we can sit here and discuss what an idiot fen is or we can warn him about Annicelli. I choose option "B."
Kyle: [Sighs]
Summer: What if Kevin's right? What if Annicelli does go after fen?
Michael: I have tried to be respectful of your mother's feelings. But she refuses to accept the fact that this separation is what I want.
Lauren: You make me sound unreasonable.
Michael: Because you are.
Lauren: [Voice breaking] I have done everything you asked. You wanted me to stop bugging you about your cancer treatments, and I did! And you asked for time and space, and I gave it to you!
Michael: You brought Fenmore here to try to change my mind.
Lauren: No! He showed up by himself!
Michael: You are suffocating me! I am tired of your concern and your advice and your constant hovering! I would rather be with a hooker who makes no demands on me! Right? Is that what you want to hear?
Lauren: I want the truth.
Michael: It is the truth.
Fenmore: Stop it. What the hell is the matter with you?! Two people I know were murdered, all right? Summer and Noah will never have a future with the people they love. You have everything and you're willing to just throw it all away?
Lauren: It's why we didn't want to tell you, honey. You're dealing with so much.
Fenmore: Yes, I shouldn't have to deal with this, all right? You and dad should be together.
Michael: Fenmore, you keep saying you're not a kid. Stop acting like one.
Fenmore: [Laughs] Me?
Michael: Yes!
Fenmore: I'm the kid?
Michael: Yes! Yes! Fenmore, you! You have to accept the fact that your parents are people! We are flawed. We make mistakes. And sometimes when that happens, relationships end.
Fenmore: Yeah, and sometimes when people have problems, they actually work through them, but you and mom obviously are not interested in doing that, so the hell with you. I got my own problems.
Lauren: Wait a minute. Fen. Fen!
[Door closes]
Lauren: You happy now?
Nick: So, I just got a call from the realtor. She's gonna meet us here very soon. She has some houses she wants to show us.
Sage: Wow. Well, as long as she knows I don't want to move in right away, then...
Nick: She knows.
Sage: Oh, um...
Nick: Just breathe.
Sharon: Hi, you guys.
Nick: Hey.
Sharon: I didn't expect to run into you here.
Nick: Yeah, just grabbing some breakfast.
Sharon: Hmm. I'm just on my way to yoga.
Nick: That sounds cool.
Sharon: I just want to tell you Dylan heard that they might have a lead on Austin and Courtney's killer.
Nick: That is great news.
Nick, sorry I'm late.
Nick: Oh, that's okay. Uh, Marylou, thank you for coming. This is my friend, Sage. Sage, this is Marylou.
Sage: Nice to meet you.
Marylou: Yes. Ready to go house shopping?
Sharon: You guys are moving in together?
Nick: Uh, no. No, Sage is looking for a new place.
Sage: I'm just really tired of hotel life, and Nick was kind enough to introduce me to his realtor.
Marylou: And I have the perfect place for you. It has an open floor plan and a big backyard.
Sage: All right, we'll talk about that on the way.
Marylou: Okay.
Sharon: You must think I'm a real idiot.
Nick: What?
Sharon: When were you gonna tell me, Nick?
Nick: Look, Sharon, I don't know what you think is going on.
Sharon: I thought we were going to work together as parents. Isn't that what we agreed to?
Nick: Yes.
Sharon: Then how could you do something like this without telling me?
Nick: Why would I tell you about something that doesn't concern you or faith?
Sharon: You're moving faith in with a woman who she hates.
Nick: No, that is not what's happening.
Sharon: So you didn't ask a real-estate agent to show you and Sage homes with an open floor plan?
Nick: Yes, I did.
Sharon: But you're not planning for you and faith to move in with Sage?
Nick: No.
Sharon: Okay, what's going on between you and Sage?
Nick: It's none of your business, Sharon.
Sharon: Well, I feel like you're holding something back. And I'm not going anywhere until you tell me what it is.
Nick: [Sighs] Okay. You're right. There is more going on.
Dylan: Hey, did you find anything?
Paul: Hey, Dylan. Who told you?
Dylan: Stitch. Said fen Baldwin gave you an envelope. There might be some DNA on it.
Paul: That's what I'm working on now.
Dylan: But you're not gonna tell me what you found?
Paul: [Sighs]
Dylan: Come on, Paul. If somebody's trying to frame Sharon, I think I should know.
Paul: Okay, there were traces of DNA on the envelope that Fen gave me. The GCPD lab was able to put together a partial profile. There was a hit on CODIS. And someone from the FBI is coming over to talk to me.
Dylan: Well, who's the match?
Paul: Guy by the name of Marco Annicelli. He used to run a South American drug cartel.
Dylan: Used to?
Paul: Yeah. He dropped out of sight a couple of years ago. He hasn't been seen or heard from since.
Dylan: Well, what's the guy look like? You got a photo?
Paul: [Chuckles] Wish I knew.
Dylan: What does -- what does that mean?
Paul: There is no photograph of the guy. In fact, I haven't even been able to find someone who has seen him face to face.
Dylan: So he could be walking around town and we have no way of knowing who this guy is?
Kevin: Whoa, whoa, whoa! Fen, hey. Did you talk to Paul?
Fenmore: Paul? No.
Kevin: That's why I was looking for you. Um, they were able to get enough DNA off of that envelope to run it through the FBI database, and they got a hit.
Fenmore: They know who blackmailed me?
Kevin: Yeah, it's a south American drug lord named Marco Annicelli.
Fenmore: Why don't you just say it, Kevin? Two people are dead, and it's my fault.
Kevin: I did not say that.
Fenmore: Come on, everybody just blames me for what happened to Austin and Courtney, and they're -- they're right. If I hadn't changed my grade or given into this blackmail, none of this would have happened.
Kevin: You had a lot going on. Michael's cancer, finally getting back on your feet after rehab.
Fenmore: They were dealing with so much. I just -- I-I thought if I got kicked out of school, it'd be the straw that broke their marriage. And it turns out they didn't need any help from me.
Kevin: Michael and Lauren are gonna work things out. They always do.
Fenmore: No, no, no. I just saw them. There's no way they're gonna find their way back to each other.
Kevin: You have to give them some time.
Fenmore: It's not gonna help. Just accept it, Kevin. My parents' marriage is over.
Michael: What am I supposed to do? Stay in this marriage for Fenmore, pretend everything's normal?
Lauren: What does that even mean? Normal?
Michael: It means two people want to be together, that they're happy, they enjoy each other's company, that they look forward to planning the future.
Lauren: That's a fairytale. In reality, people get sick and they fight. And they maybe even break up, but they don't give up!
Michael: What am I supposed to do?! I mean, go through the motions for Fenmore or you? No! Why would you want me to?! Why are you fighting so hard for this marriage?!
Lauren: Because I love you!
Michael: Come on! For god's sakes! Can't you at least be honest? You're no happier than I am!
Lauren: How can you even say that?
Michael: Oh, I don't know. Maybe it's because not so long ago, you went off and slept with a bartender who's almost young enough to be your son.
Lauren: Carmine was a mistake. I apologized, and you... you accepted that.
Michael: The mistake is thinking that we could ever get past it.
Lauren: You don't mean this. You do not mean any of this.
Michael: Yes, I do.
Lauren: You're lying. You come over here and you look me in the eye and you tell me you don't want me! You tell me, Michael!
Michael: I don't want you.
Lauren: Divorce papers?
FBI Agent: Marco Annicelli is the most elusive person we've ever dealt with.
Paul: Well, he came out of hiding long enough to get his DNA on that envelope.
FBI Agent: Maybe.
Paul: Maybe? What does that mean?
FBI Agent: Look, Chief Williams, we appreciate everything you've done. But the bureau will handle the investigation from here.
Paul: I understand the feds are taking over the investigation. But this is my city. Two people are dead. One of whom was my officer. You're going to tell me everything you know about this person I believe is responsible.
Fenmore: I can't help feeling guilty.
Kevin: Fen, you are not responsible for Courtney and Austin's murders.
Fenmore: No, I meant for what's happening to mom and dad.
Kevin: You're not responsible for that, either.
Fenmore: I've put them through the wringer -- Jamie, carmine, the drugs.
Kevin: Listen to me. Their problems have nothing to do with you.
Fenmore: Maybe not. Just, you know, I just wish that there was something I could do to fix things.
Kevin: Only they can do that. You have to worry about fixing yourself. This guy Annicelli is no joke. And if he finds out you're the one who pointed the cops in his direction, you could be in real danger.
Kyle: Could fen be a bigger idiot? Seriously.
Summer: Look, as much as I want to blame fen for setting this whole nightmare into motion, you know, the truth is, Austin started it all. It was his fault.
Kyle: I'm surprised to hear you say that.
Summer: Well, if he hadn't tried to embarrass my family with that whole exposé he was making, then none of this would have happened. He would still be here, and so would Courtney.
Kyle: Was a pretty dirtbag move, you know.
Summer: I knew he resented my family. I just didn't know how much. You know, I tried to downplay my family's money.
Kyle: Yeah, and it totally messed you up. You can't even let anybody spoil you now.
Summer: Hmm. Are you referring to our date the other night?
Kyle: Our almost date.
Summer: Sorry. I shouldn't have made you leave like that.
Kyle: No, you know, honestly, I was trying too hard to impress you. I was trying too hard, period. [Chuckles] You know, these over-the-top dinners, the expensive jewelry, too much time on the golf course, it was stupid.
Summer: I promise, it really -- it wasn't you. It was -- it was me.
Kyle: Yeah.
Summer: I was pissed off at Austin, and I took it out on you, and... I'm sorry. It's not your fault.
Kyle: What are friends for, you know?
Summer: I just -- I don't -- I don't get it. I don't get it. How -- how can someone say the things that Austin said to me and -- and then go and betray me like that? Not just with the film, but with Abby. Was the whole thing a lie? Did Austin ever really love me?
Nick: Come sit down. You're right. There is more going on between Sage and me than I said.
Sharon: So, what? Are you guys involved now? Are you guys a couple?
Nick: We...are close.
Sharon: But you want to be closer?
Nick: Yes, but I know how it affects faith, so we're taking things very slowly.
Sharon: And what you mean by that is you're not planning on moving in with Sage today, but you are planning to eventually.
Nick: I don't know what the future holds. Right now, Sage needs a new place to live, and I'm gonna help her find one.
Sharon: Come on, Nick. This is me. I know what you're doing.
Nick: I'm trying to be honest with you.
Sharon: No. You are trying to manage me. You're afraid that I can't handle the truth, so you're giving it to me in bits and pieces, and you know damn well where things are going with Sage! You just don't want to tell me because you think my head's gonna explode or something!
Nick: It's this reaction -- it's this right here. This is exactly what Sage was --
Sharon: What Sage was worried about? What -- what? Did she think that I was going to have an opinion about your daughter?
Nick: What do you mean?
Sharon: Maybe you should remind Sage that faith is my daughter, too.
Nick: You're blowing things out of proportion.
Sharon: Am I? Am I being unreasonable?
Nick: That is not what I said.
Sharon: No, but it's what you meant. You think I'm irrational and crazy, and that's exactly where you go anytime I disagree with you!
Nick: Well, right now, you are being irrational.
Sharon: No, right now I am protecting my daughter!
Dylan: What's, uh, what's going on? What'd you do to her?
Nick: I didn't do anything. Sharon jumped to the wrong conclusion.
Sharon: I don't really care what you and Sage do. My only concern is faith.
Nick: She's my priority, too, and I would think you would recognize that given I gave you an extra day with her.
Sharon: Well, we both know why you did that.
Nick: I'm not trying to cut you out of her life. In fact, I'd be willing to discuss you spending more time with her. She needs us both right now.
Sharon: Okay. I'm sorry. It's just really hard for me to take things at face value right now. I feel like I have been surrounded by lies. There are either people lying to me or about me.
Dylan: Well, I have some news that might make you feel better. Paul has a lead on who killed Austin and Courtney.
Nick: That would go a long way in helping Noah and Summer to heal.
Dylan: Yeah, he's, uh, keeping a tight lid on everything, but I'll let you know if I hear anything.
Nick: Thanks. I got to go. I meant what I said about faith.
Dylan: You okay?
Sharon: I just don't know if I can believe him. I-I -- it's hard for me to trust anybody right now.
FBI Agent: Says here your lab was only able to come up with a partial result.
Paul: Well, that's not unusual when there are only trace amounts of DNA.
FBI Agent: No, but a match from that is hardly conclusive. And given what we know about Marco Annicelli, unlikely.
Paul: Are you saying it's possible we made a mistake?
FBI Agent: I'm sure you did the best you could with limited resources, but I seriously doubt the DNA on the envelope belongs to our guy.
Paul: Well, that would be a remarkable coincidence that a partial sample would create a hit on your database.
FBI Agent: Marco Annicelli covers his tracks. He wouldn't be so careless to leave behind evidence like that if he's even alive.
Paul: Are you suggesting something otherwise?
FBI Agent: We haven't had a solid lead on this guy for years. And no one's ever stayed off our radar that long unless they're dead.
Paul: Okay, but if we're right and this is Annicelli's DNA, we could be closer than ever to nailing this guy.
FBI Agent: No disrespect, Chief Williams, but the closest we've ever come to nailing this monster is a tip that led us to a hotel where we found his DNA.
Paul: So if you've never seen this guy, how do you know that it's his DNA?
FBI Agent: Thank you for notifying us of these results. The FBI will take it from here.
Paul: Okay. So, you're not even going to entertain the possibility that Annicelli is alive?
FBI Agent: And a bunch of spoiled kids from Wisconsin drew him out of hiding?
Paul: Well, that's what I thought first, too. But two kids are dead, and the others could be in danger.
FBI Agent: Only if they keep poking around in things they shouldn't.
[Door closes]
Paul: Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of.
Summer: Kevin told fen about the DNA match.
Kyle: Oh, great. Did he thank him for making us the targets of a homicidal drug lord?
Summer: I mean, Kevin's right. There really is no way that fen could have known who he was dealing with.
Kyle: I guess not.
Summer: The part that I don't get is what this guy would want to do with either of our families.
Kyle: No clue. But we probably shouldn't be talking about this in public.
[Chair scrapes floor]
Summer: Wh-- Kyle?
Kyle: Who the hell are you?!
Michael: Please. Just end this.
Lauren: No. I won't do it.
Michael: Don't make me say things that will hurt you.
Lauren: You don't think this hurts?
Michael: Oh, I know it does. And I want the pain to end. For both of us. The only way that's gonna happen is if you accept the fact that I don't want to be with you. I don't love you anymore.
Lauren: I will not accept that. What we have is real. And I will never give up on us.
Michael: [Sobbing]
Lauren: [Sighs] [Sobs]
Fenmore: Summer. What's wrong?
Summer: Uh, someone was watching Kyle and me, and Kyle went after him.
Fenmore: You think it was...?
Summer: I don't -- I don't know, I don't know.
Kyle: Are you gonna tell me why you were watching me and my friend or are we gonna have to call the cops?
Tobias: I told you. I wasn't following you.
Fenmore: Who are you?
Tobias: My name's Tobias. Tobias gray.
Summer: You used to work at the lab in Jabot, didn't you?
Kyle: My Aunt Ashley hired you. Then fired you.
Tobias: That was unfortunate.
Summer: You also spied on Jabot for my grandpa.
Tobias: There was never any proof of that. Look, I'm out of there now. I'm trying to get on with my life. I wasn't following you or spying on you or anything. I was just having a cup of coffee.
Kyle: Sorry. We're just [Clears throat] A little paranoid right now.
Tobias: No kidding.
Fenmore: We have good reason to be.
Tobias: Whatever freaked you out has got nothing to do with me.
Kyle: [Sighs] Great. Now we're totally paranoid.
Fenmore: It's not paranoid if someone's really after you.
Nick: So how'd it go with Marylou?
Sage: It didn't go. I threw up in the parking lot before I got in the car.
Nick: I'm so sorry. I told you it's not just in the morning. I tell you, when Sharon was pregnant, she had --
Sage: I don't really want to hear about Sharon's morning sickness, Nick.
Nick: Fair. Yeah.
Sage: I'm sorry. I think just seeing Sharon made me feel sick. I'm probably overreacting, but I'm really afraid of what she's gonna do when she finds out about this baby.
Nick: Well, I don't think she's gonna throw you a baby shower.
Sage: I'm serious.
Nick: So am I. She's definitely not gonna do that for you.
[Both chuckle]
Nick: Look, um... I think the best way for us to handle this is head on.
Sage: [Sighs]
Nick: And I think we should just tell Sharon that you're pregnant.
Sage: Oh, God. I don't know. I don't know.
Nick: Look, no matter what we tell her, this is gonna be hard for her. But she has Dylan, and she leans on him, and he has a calming effect on her.
Sage: What if you're wrong? What if she flips out?
Nick: Everything's gonna be all right. I promise.
Dylan: Look, I-I get why you feel you can't trust anybody. Everybody's let you down lately.
Sharon: You haven't.
Dylan: Uh, I hope I never do. I can tell you this. I'll never lie to you.
Sharon: Can I ask you something?
Dylan: Anything.
Sharon: Is what's happening between us real? Or are we just two people who needed someone to hold on to for the night?
Next on "The Young and the Restless"...
Kyle: The police have a break in the case. They think it leads right to the killer.
Victoria: I'm not planning on giving any handouts to your little bed buddy, Chelsea.
Nick: I wanted you to hear this from me. Sage is pregnant.
