Episode # 10663 ~ Nikki issues Victor an ultimatum; Billy turns to Victoria for help; Hilary apologizes to Neil.
Provided By Suzanne
Chelsea: [Gasps]
Billy: It's not real.
Victoria: What's not real?
Billy: Go ahead, Victor. Tell your daughter and the rest of us how Jack's signature on this contract isn't a forgery.
Victor: I don't have to tell you a damn thing.
Billy: That's because you can't.
Victor: You don't go along with your brother's nonsense, now, do you?
Ashley: I have a question. Why haven't we seen this before now?
Victor: Because I have no clue why Jack hasn't shown it to you. That's his signature. I assure you.
Billy: Your assurance? That's credible.
Victor: Why are you both acting so surprised? Jack made no secret of wanting this merger with me.
Billy: We made it clear that we were against this, so for Jack to follow through with it --
Victor: Means that he doesn't give a damn what you think. You got it? It's his signature, simple as it is.
Billy: Nothing is ever simple with you. Are you really gonna let him get away with this?
I loved you from the start and I'll love you till the end rich or poor, my heart is yours with a love greater than feeling we'll persevere and we'll endure through the wilderness and the valleys that reign my heart is yours
Gwen: Neil. I didn't mean to interrupt.
Neil: Oh, no, no. You didn't. You're fine.
Gwen: I like the new look.
Neil: Yeah? Well, thanks. I guess I look halfway respectable now, huh?
Gwen: And then some.
Neil: Okay, young lady, don't you let the haircut fool you.
Gwen: [Chuckles]
Neil: Now, my bet is that you're looking for Victor.
Gwen: He wanted to go over Jabot's first-quarter sales figures. I have some numbers for him.
Neil: Oh. All right, well, Victor had to run out. He had some unexpected business come up, so...
Gwen: Things are pretty crazy around here with Jack out of commission.
Neil: Yeah, they are. This, uh, this accident has definitely complicated everything.
Gwen: Well, at least with you and Mr. Newman in charge, the company's in good hands.
Neil: I wish it were that simple.
Nikki: Club soda, please.
Neil: I wish we didn't have to put you in this position, Nikki, but without your signature, this contract is meaningless. It's not official.
Victor: Sweetheart, just sign it. Jack wants this merger.
Nikki: Thank you.
Nikki: I have just decided that I'm not going to let Victor or anything drive me back to drink, and every day, I-I seem to feel stronger and more determined.
Victoria: I have no reason to believe this isn't Jack's signature.
Billy: And no proof that it is.
Victoria: He was all for the merger. He made that clear, so why wouldn't he sign this contract?
Ashley: Because he knew that we were opposed to it.
Victoria: And you couldn't change his mind, so you're looking for any way to stop this deal from going through.
Victor: They're doing worse than that, sweetheart. They're trying to wrest their brother's company from him whilst he is lying in a coma.
Billy: We're not the ones trying to pull a fast one.
Victor: What are you even doing here? He fired you, didn't he?
Ashley: He wasn't thinking clearly when Jack did that.
Victor: Of course he was. And you are supporting his sorry ass because you feel pity for him.
Ashley: That's not true at all. I admire my brother for fighting for our family's company.
Billy: Ashley and I are both fighting for the legacy that our father left all of us.
Victor: Don't you even mention your father's name, for heaven's sake. You couldn't shine his shoes. You're an embarrassment to your family. Your brother cut ties with you, as everyone else has who has ever had anything to do with you.
Billy: What about you, Victor? How many people have walked out of your life?
Victor: Not too many. Present company excepted. I have a wife, I have children, I have grandchildren. I run a multi-billion-dollar company. You, dumbass, are unemployed! And everyone has dumped you who ever had anything to do with you, right?!
Victoria: Calm down. Look, no one should be fighting. This is a business discussion.
Billy: Well, it was, until your old man turned it into a personal attack on me, just like he always does.
Victor: I came here to show you the documents that Jack and I signed for the merger between Newman enterprises and Jabot. All you have done is throw unfounded accusations at me.
Billy: This... this is nothing compared to the things that you've done. Ash, look at this. That is not Jack's signature.
Victor: So, Ashley, is this your brother's signature or not?
Billy: You know, I don't care what she says. It's a forgery, and I'm gonna prove it. And when I do, I'm gonna bring you down once and for all.
Victor: Billy boy, you have the damn handwriting analyzed, all right?
Billy: You bet your ass I will.
Victor: You bet.
Ashley: Okay, let's go.
Victoria: [Sighs] All right, dad, we're alone. Please tell me that Jack's signature wasn't forged.
Billy: Can you believe that bald-faced liar accusing us of using Jack's accident? Almost put my fist through his face.
Ashley: I'm glad you didn't.
Billy: The day's young.
Ashley: You can't let him get to you all the time.
Billy: You know what? You're right. The best thing we can do is find a handwriting expert, which is exactly what I'm trying to do right now.
Ashley: I'm afraid that even if you do find the best, he's not gonna be able to tell whether or not this is Jack's signature.
Billy: What are you saying?
Ashley: Because if it is a forgery, Victor made damn sure you can't detect it.
Billy: So, what? We should just give up?
Ashley: I've got another way to find out if this is real or not.
Billy: Okay. How?
Ashley: The other name on this contract, Billy. The witness.
Nikki: Um, excuse me. Could I -- could I have another? Actually, um, this time, could I have vodka, please?
Gwen: Well, if you need somebody to talk to about what's going on here at work or with Jack...
Neil: Okay, that's very nice of you. I appreciate that, but I'm good, really. Gwen, since you came all the way over here, why don't I go over the sales figures with you and, you know, I can fill Victor in on them? What do you say?
Gwen: Sure.
Neil: Okay, great. Um, I was about to go to lunch.
Gwen: Do you like Indian?
Neil: First name spicy, last name curry.
Gwen: [Laughs] I know this great Indian place. I think I have the number in my phone.
Neil: Okay. Cool.
[Cell phone chimes]
Neil: Gwen, I am so sorry. I, uh, I can't go to lunch.
Gwen: No problem. I'll e-mail you the report. Is everything okay?
Neil: A friend of mine is in trouble, and I-I got to go. She needs my help. Uh, want to walk out with me?
[Doorbell rings]
Adam: Can I come in for a second? Thanks. Just came by to check to see how you were doing. Billy said some pretty harsh things to you the other day.
Chelsea: I'm fine.
Adam: You know, those things he said to you, none of them are true. Those names he called you, you're none of those things. You know that, right?
Chelsea: Thank you. But I don't need you to boost my self-esteem or -- or check up on me.
Adam: I know that. Just, uh... I can't help but feel a little bit, um, responsible for the state of your life right now.
Chelsea: A little responsible? If you hadn't come into my life, I would be married to Billy right now.
Adam: Yeah.
Chelsea: We would be on our honeymoon, getting ready to come home to start our life together.
Adam: Yeah, I know. That's why I think you should be thanking me, you know, for doing you a favor.
Chelsea: Excuse me?
Adam: Saving you from a life that you didn't really want anyway, right?
Chelsea: You ruined my life!
Adam: I ruined your life? The way I remembered is you came knocking on my door -- remember, you threw yourself at me.
Chelsea: Get out.
Adam: That's how it went, not that I'm complaining, okay? I think we both got what we wanted.
Chelsea: Would you stop telling me what I want and what I don't want?
Adam: Well, then why don't you tell me what you want, Chelsea?
Chelsea: I want you gone!
Adam: I don't think you do.
Victoria: It's a simple question, dad. Is that Jack's signature on the merger contract?
Victor: Sweetheart, when he wakes up, you ask him, all right? And he will tell you that he signed the damn contract. And Billy boy, your erstwhile husband, will have to concede defeat.
Victoria: You love when that happens, don't you?
Victor: I can't stand that...
Victoria: You didn't have to be so hard on him.
[Cell phone chimes]
Victoria: [Sighs]
Victor: Hmm.
Victoria: What is it? What's wrong?
Victor: I asked Abby to keep me informed about Jack's condition. Apparently, nothing has changed.
Victoria: You really do care about him, don't you?
Victor: Oh, yeah.
Hilary: [Sighs] Hey. We have to talk.
Devon: Now?
Hilary: Yes.
Devon: About what we're gonna say to Neil?
Hilary: I don't want to lie to him.
Devon: We're not gonna lie to him.
Hilary: But telling him the truth, it just -- it might make us feel better, but he's still gonna be hurt and angry, and I hate that.
Devon: We can't avoid it, though.
Hilary: Unless...
Devon: No, no, no, no, no. "Unless" nothing. I'm -- I can't keep this from him. I'm not gonna do that again. We will make Neil understand, okay?
[Cell phone chimes]
Hillary: [Sighs] Oh, it's from Ashley. It's urgent. She needs to see me.
Devon: Okay. Hey. Everything will be fine.
Hilary: I hope so.
Devon: I know it's not gonna be easy for Neil. But he will come around.
[Soft music plays]
[Cell phone chimes]
Nikki: [Sighs]
Ashley: Hi, Nikki.
Nikki: Oh, Ashley, hi. Hi, Billy.
Billy: Hi.
Ashley: You meeting somebody?
Nikki: Um, yes, I am.
Billy: Well, why don't you sit with us while you wait?
Nikki: Okay.
Billy: Here.
Nikki: Thank you.
Billy: You're welcome.
Ashley: So, we just came from seeing Jack.
Nikki: How is he?
Ashley: The same.
Nikki: I'm so sorry.
Ashley: I mean, it's pretty tough, especially given this whole merger thing, you know? Of course, we were hoping on holding off making it final, but apparently Jack signed the contract before he went into a coma. Oh, you know that, though, because you were there when he signed it, right?
Nikki: Victor showed you the contract?
Billy: With great pleasure.
Ashley: It's kind of weird, though, because he wouldn't tell us when Jack signed it. Isn't that funny?
Billy: Yeah, we were hoping that maybe you could help us with that.
Nikki: Oh, gosh. I-I don't think so.
Ashley: What? You don't remember when Jack signed it or when you signed it?
Nikki: You know, I-I really don't. Um...
Ashley: That's strange. You think you'd remember something that important.
Nikki: Yeah, Ashley, if you have something to say, why don't you just say it?
Ashley: Okay, I will. You never saw Jack sign this, did you?
Billy: Nikki, it's okay. You can tell us. Did you see Jack sign this document?
Neil: Step off.
Billy: Just trying to get at the truth here, Neil.
Neil: Yeah, well, I'm gonna give it to you. Nikki and I both witnessed Jack sign those papers.
Ashley: Oh, boy.
Billy: Wow. So you sold out to Victor, too.
Neil: Billy, I'm gonna be easy on you right now, because I know your brother's in the hospital, and I know you're worried about him, like we are. So, let's squash that. Uh, you want to get a table? I got your message.
Nikki: Yeah.
Billy: You know what, Neil? Maybe -- maybe you're right. Maybe I am acting out of character because my brother is in the hospital fighting for his life. What's your excuse?
Ashley: Billy.
Billy: No, you know what? I really would like to hear this. Um, how did it go down between you and Victor? Did he offer you the -- the big corner office and the C.F.O. Title and the salary to go with it? In exchange for what, exactly? To help him forge the signature of your unconscious friend, Jack?
Ashley: We don't know for a fact that Nikki and Neil have anything to do with that.
Billy: Really? Well, I don't -- I don't hear either of them denying this.
Neil: You know that Jack wanted this merger, right? And now you're trying to stop him because he's in the hospital and he can't fight for himself.
Billy: Don't sit here and tell me what my brother wanted, Neil. You don't know the first thing about my family. But you -- you know full well, no matter what Jack said, he would never team up with Victor.
Nikki: As I'm sure you know, he changed after the underground collapse.
Billy: He suffered a concussion, Nikki! I mean, at the very best, he wasn't thinking clearly. And at the worst, he's being manipulated by Victor into turning over Jabot! And now this deal is being pushed through while the man is in a coma! And we all know that Victor has no conscience, but, Nikki, you do. I know that you do.
Neil: Hey, hey, hey, you need to calm down a minute. Just leave her alone.
Billy: Has he corrupted you so much that you would hurt Jack like this, a man that you once loved, a man that I know you still care about?
Neil: You don't have to listen to him. You want proof that Jack signed those papers? What did we do, Billy? We gave you proof. Now you just got to accept it, you hear me?
Billy: Neil, you're the one that can't see the truth. I mean, hell, you didn't even realize it when your wife and your son were cheating on you.
Nikki: [Gasps] Oh, my God.
[Glass shatters]
Chelsea: You are deluding yourself if you think what we shared was anything more than sex.
Adam: It was more than that.
Chelsea: Not to me.
Adam: Well, I don't believe you.
Chelsea: You can believe whatever you want. The truth of the matter is, I came to you that night because I wanted revenge on Billy for running back to Victoria the second she broke up with stitch.
Adam: Well, if you wanted to get back at Billy, you could have done a number of things I can think of, off the top of my head. You didn't. You came to me, though.
Chelsea: Because it was easy. I walked off the elevator and your door was right there. Turning to you was a matter of proximity.
Adam: Okay, you really expect me to believe that, though? [Chuckles]
Chelsea: Yes, I do.
Adam: Okay. You came to me because you wanted me, Chelsea. Just admit it. Not some random neighbor, not some other guy. Me.
Chelsea: No.
Adam: No?
Chelsea: No.
Adam: Yes!
Chelsea: You don't mean anything to me! What is it gonna take for you to get that through your head?
Adam: You have to show me.
Chelsea: What? Stop. Stop.
Adam: That what you really want? You want me to stop?
Chelsea: Yes.
Adam: You want me to stop? You're gonna stand there and you're gonna tell me that I don't mean anything to you?
Neil: Hey, say it again. Say it one more time! Don't make me hurt you!
Devon: Hey! Hey! Knock it off! What's going on here?!
Billy: It's a, uh, difference of opinion.
Neil: Yeah, well, Billy bob doesn't have his facts straight, does he?
Billy: It's hard to do when people are lying to your face, people you thought you could trust.
Neil: I don't understand why we're talking about this. You're gonna have to learn now to accept the truth here. Jack signed those merger papers with Victor Newman.
Billy: Why should I believe you?
Neil: Because you don't have a choice.
Billy: Maybe I do. Hilary, you work for Jack.
Hilary: Yeah.
Billy: Ash, can I see those papers, please?
Ashley: Yeah. Yeah, they're right here.
Neil: Well, it's a real surprise to see you two here together.
Billy: You ever seen this? Did Jack sign this?
Hilary: Uh...I...
Ashley: Just tell the truth. Please just tell the truth. You were a trusted employee, I mean, and Jack took a chance with you. You know what happens in his office better than anybody does.
Hilary: I've seen every single legal document that Jack signed since I've worked for him, but --
Ashley: Okay, did you ever see him sign this?
Hilary: No.
Billy: Are you sure?
Hilary: Positive.
Ashley: Then who signed it?
Neil: You want to know who signed those papers? Jack Abbott did. Your brother did.
Billy: Hilary just said she's never seen this contract.
Neil: Really? Is that what she said? How can we believe anything that she says?
Ashley: Why the hell would she lie, Neil? I mean, really?
Neil: Haven't you heard? This woman is in the business of hurting people. She and Devon are. That's right. You know how much you hurt me.
Hilary: I'm telling the truth.
Neil: Let's assume you are telling the truth. Since Jack got back from his honeymoon, how many times has he stopped by the office?
Hilary: Okay, yeah, he's taken a little time off lately.
Neil: Yes, he has. Then it's possible that Nikki and I both witnessed Jack sign those papers. And maybe, just maybe, he didn't take them to his office, right?
Hilary: Yeah, it's possible.
Neil: Yeah, it is possible.
Ashley: I don't care how cavalier Jack's been about work lately. He would never lose track of a document as important as this.
Neil: All right, Ashley, maybe you don't know your brother as well as you think you know your brother.
Ashley: You know what, Neil? Maybe I know him a hell of a lot better than you do!
Billy: Look, if Jack were so gung-ho about this merger, as you and Victor claim that he is, then he would have been waving this signed contract in front of our faces, but he hasn't been. In fact, it's nowhere to be found. It's not at the office. It's not in his house.
Neil: I don't have to explain anything to you!
Billy: That's because you can't!
Nikki: Will you please stop all this fighting?! This is what Jack wanted. And when he wakes up, he will be happy to tell you that.
Ashley: What if he doesn't wake up, Nikki? Are you gonna be happy to continue to perpetuate this lie?
Neil: Mnh, mnh, mnh, mnh, mnh. You don't have to answer that.
Billy: When a handwriting expert proves that that is not Jack's signature, you're gonna have a lot of questions to answer. We have an appointment with our lawyer. We'll see you in court. It's not gonna wo Victor.
Victor: What are you blathering about, Billy?
Billy: Forcing Nikki to lie for you. She's too good and decent to follow through with it.
Ashley: I know you don't give a damn about my brother, but do you care at all what you're doing to your wife?
Neil: You okay?
Nikki: Yeah. Thank you. Thank you for responding to my text and for standing up for me.
Neil: Absolutely. Don't you let this bother you, okay? It's all gonna work out. Hi, Victor.
Victor: Neil.
Neil: Talk to you in a minute.
Victor: Everything all right?
Nikki: Jack didn't sign that contract, did he?
Devon: Why the hell are you fighting with Billy in public? What's going on with you?
Neil: Maybe I should ask you. What's up with you two? This is the second time that I've seen you both out together.
Hilary: Neil, I'm sorry if what I said about not seeing Jack sign those documents caused you any trouble.
Neil: All of a sudden, you're -- you're concerned about causing me trouble?
Devon: Let's not do this again.
Neil: Why shouldn't we? Are you gonna answer my question or not?
Devon: Yes, I am gonna answer your question.
Neil: Are you gonna answer my question honestly?
Devon: Absolutely. Hilary and I are back together.
Chelsea: Oh, my God. Are you really that full of yourself? You think no woman can resist you?
Adam: I don't think that you can.
Chelsea: Just stop. I don't want to hear this anymore. I want you to go.
Adam: Okay, hey, come here. Just -- I'll leave, all right? I'll leave. Just let me say something first, okay?
Chelsea: What?
Adam: You're right. That's what I wanted to say. I want to say you're right. I'm a self-centered jerk with an ego the size of Wisconsin, all right? That's the truth. [Sighs] Chelsea, I got to tell you, my ego is telling me right now that you just don't want to admit that you have feelings for me, because you don't want to hurt Billy.
Chelsea: You mean more than I already have?
Adam: More than you already have, yes. We could wait the socially acceptable amount of time. I don't want to do that. I... look, my closest friend in the world, my dearest friend, he's in a hospital right now. He's in a bed. He's in a coma. And he was finally happy. And now he's laying there, and it could all slip away. These -- these things that people say, seizing the day, living in the moment, they sound cliché, right, and I always thought they were, and then tragedy like that smacks you in the chest, r-right? I tell you what, you spend too much time trying to -- trying to do the right thing, you've lost sight of what makes you happy. It's not right. What we had, what we shared, Chelsea, was much more than revenge sex. There was a connection. And even before that day, we had a connection. Right now, when you're looking at me, there's a connection, right? There it is. You look at me. You tell me. You tell me you don't feel anything for me and I'll walk over there and I will leave you alone. You'll never see me again. I swear. But I need you to say it.
Devon: We understand if you're not ready to forgive us for what we did to you. But we both want you to know that everything Hilary said about pretending she was in love with us to hurt our family was a lie. She thought if you believed that I had been duped, you'd forgive me for betraying you. She sacrificed her own happiness so you and I could be happy.
Neil: Really? How long did she sacrifice for? What are we talking about? Maybe a day? Maybe a week?
Devon: We just got back together, dad.
Neil: Of course you did.
Hilary: Devon, maybe we should just go.
Devon: No, we don't need to go. He still needs to know something.
Neil: What do I need to know? If it has anything to do with you, I don't need to know it.
Devon: Hilary's the reason you didn't go to prison when you were on trial for Christine's accident.
Neil: Ha. That's -- that's -- that's noble of you. Now you think I owe you, right?
Devon: We don't think you owe us anything. All that we want is for you to accept that we're in love and we're gonna be together.
Neil: You want to be together and you want me to approve that. Is that what you're telling me?
Devon: We're just trying to be honest with you.
Neil: Honest? I don't think you can be honest. I don't believe a single word coming out of either one of your mouths. You're liars. Both of you. You actually carried on an affair in front of me. I was the blind guy. You carried on in front of me, and now you're coming to me, asking for forgiveness.
Devon: Dad, I really thought that you and I had been making progress since the plane crash.
Neil: No, it doesn't come that easy.
Devon: I didn't think it was gonna come easy, but we still want to make up for what we did. That's why she saved you from going to jail.
Neil: I'll bet I know exactly how you did that, Hilary. You better run for your life, son. She's gonna decimate you exactly how she decimated me and countless others.
Hilary: Okay, no, that is not true, all right? I love Devon.
Neil: You love him? Like you loved me? I know you want my acceptance. I know that you want my blessings. But I'm gonna tell you what I'm gonna give you right now. I'm gonna wish for you both a lot of pain and a lot of unhappiness. Let's put it like this. Karma's a bitch.
Ashley: Billy, why don't you let me take you to the hospital? You might need a stitch or two.
Billy: No, what I need to do is put my fist through something.
Ashley: You keep saying that. It's not gonna make you feel any better. Let me look at this.
Billy: It's fine.
Victoria: Hey, Billy. What happened?
Billy: I was pursuing truth and justice and got blindsided by corruption.
Victoria: Who did you get into a fight with this time? Gabe again? Oh, please don't tell me it was my dad.
Billy: No, one of his henchmen -- Neil.
Victoria: Winters?
Billy: Yeah, Darth Victor pulled him over to the dark side.
Victoria: Well, if Neil did this to you, he must have had a really good reason for doing it.
Billy: Well, I'm sure he had a really good reason for backing up all of Victor's lies and dragging Nikki into this mess. I'm really surprised you're letting that happen. You have to know what this is doing to your mom.
Victoria: You have no proof that what dad's saying isn't true.
Ashley: Well, we spoke to Jack's assistant. She never saw a contract. She never even heard of one.
Victoria: That doesn't mean anything.
Ashley: You know what? I used to do that, too, all the time. Try to convince myself that Victor had done nothing wrong. Deep down inside, you know the truth, Victoria, just like I did. You know what the big problem is? You have to live with that every day.
Victoria: Oh, boy.
Billy: So, can you?
Victoria: What?
Billy: Live with yourself knowing what Victor is doing to Jack and to my family?
Victoria: I'm gonna get a first-aid kit and look at your lip.
Billy: [Sighs]
Nikki: So, you gonna answer my question?
Victor: What did you tell Ashley and Billy?
Nikki: Well, fortunately, I didn't have to say anything, because Neil came up and said that both of us saw Jack sign the contract.
Victor: Good.
Nikki: No, it isn't good. It's a lie. I didn't see Jack sign anything. I just took your word.
Victor: Why wouldn't you?
Nikki: Billy and Ashley aren't gonna let this go, you know.
Victor: I don't give a damn about Billy and Ashley. I can handle them. It is you that I want on my side.
Nikki: You want me on your side?
Victor: It's imperative.
Nikki: Then tell me the truth. Did Jack sign that contract?
Victor: Why are we bringing that up now?
Nikki: I swear to God, Victor, if you don't tell me right now, I will walk over to that bar and drink every drop of alcohol they have.
Victor: Are you serious?
Nikki: I am dead serious.
I've been drifting in and out of this painfully mistaking love for bliss
Chelsea: [Sighs] Adam...
Staring through the deep one eye open, asleep what did you do? You pulled me into
Hilary: You know, it's not too late to change your mind.
Devon: About us?
Hilary: You could call the whole thing off right here, right now. I wouldn't blame you.
Devon: Hilary, I never want us to end. I know that telling Neil the truth was difficult, but it was the right thing to do.
Hilary: No...regrets?
Devon: Yeah. That we weren't honest with him from the beginning.
Hilary: We were just trying to protect him, Devon.
Devon: I know. And that ended up causing us even more pain.
Gwen: Neil.
Neil: Hey.
Gwen: I forgot my tablet. I thought you were helping a friend.
Neil: Mission accomplished.
Gwen: Looks like things got a little rough.
Neil: Yeah.
Gwen: That offer to talk still stands.
Neil: Hey, Gwen, you should probably know about this anyway.
Gwen: About what?
Neil: About Devon and Hilary. Um, they're back together.
Gwen: That must have been hard for you.
Neil: You know, they expected me to, I guess, just accept it and move on. They have. Why wouldn't I?
Gwen: Because you're human. And you should be allowed to kick and scream. Did it feel good when you punched Devon?
Neil: It probably would have. No, but this, uh, this was from hitting somebody else.
Gwen: Neil.
Neil: The guy deserved it. I mean, even if he wasn't the one I was mad at, he -- he did. He really deserved it.
Gwen: I'm sorry. You don't deserve to be hurt.
Victor: You would sacrifice your sobriety just to spite me?
Nikki: You would let me?
Victor: I will not let you emotionally blackmail me. If you don't want to, for my sake, say that you saw Jack Abbott sign that contract, then do it for your sake. Do it for the family's sake.
Nikki: Oh, my God, there it is. The family card. When all else fails, you always pull that out.
Victor: This is not a game, sweetheart.
Nikki: All I want is the truth. Is that too much to ask?
Victor: All right. Jack Abbott signed that damn contract.
Billy: Ow.
Victoria: [Chuckles] Sorry.
Billy: No, it's not your fault.
Victoria: [Sighs] I'm worried about you, Billy.
Billy: It's just a little cut.
Victoria: No, I mean I'm worried about you. You know, you've had a lot thrown at you in the past few weeks -- and Chelsea cheated on you and Jack firing you and now his accident.
Billy: Don't forget your father trying to steal my family's company.
Victoria: I don't think you would have gotten in a fight with Neil if you haven't had so much thrown at you lately. I know how worried you are about Jack, too.
Billy: Yeah, I am. [Sighs] But look. Look at me. You don't ne to worry about me. I'm not going off the rails. Not this time. I'm not gonna fall into bed with the next woman that I meet. I'm not gonna get lost in the bottom of a bottle or the back room of a poker game. I'm not doing it. You're looking at, um, Billy 2.0.
Victoria: Right. Well, you know, if the new and improved Billy ever needs anyone to lean on...
Billy: Nope. No, I'm done leaning, too. You know, my whole life, Jack has been cleaning up all of my messes. And it's time for me to step up, repay the favor.
Chelsea: [Chuckles]
Adam: Well, that was surprising. [Chuckles] Mmm. Especially that moment you called out Adam's name.
Chelsea: What? No, I -- oh, my God.
Adam: It's okay.
Chelsea: Oh, my God. Oh, my God.
Adam: It's okay.
Chelsea: Oh, my God. Oh, my God. It's not okay. Oh, my God. It's not okay. You should -- you should go.
Adam: Chelsea.
Chelsea: No, really. Really. Gabe, you should, uh, you should get dressed. You should go. Um, this shouldn't have happened.
Adam: Chel-- it's not that big of a deal, really, okay?
Chelsea: This happened before. I said Adam's name once when I was sleeping next to Billy. It's like he's always in my thoughts -- when I'm sleeping, when I'm awake. It's like I can't get him out of my head.
Adam: You loved him.
Chelsea: Yeah. And I... I fear he's the only man I'll ever love.
Adam: Just, uh, say something to you here. I-I understand what you're saying. I do, really. But, uh... it's not like you're cheating on him.
Chelsea: Well, it -- it feels like I am. Please go.
Adam: Okay.
Next on "The Young and the Restless"...
Victor: I think you and I have more in common than you realize.
Phyllis: Oh, my God. Jack, Jack, Jack. Hi, baby.
Jack: Do I know you?
