Episode # 10647 ~ Michael & Dylan help Sharon; Summer talks to Abby about her relationship with Stitch.
Provided By Suzanne
Billy: Chelsea? Chelsea, you here?
Chelsea: I can't believe this happened.
Adam: Of course, it happened.
Chelsea: Um, I-I didn't plan this.
Adam: No, I know. You came over here on impulse, and look what happened. It's undeniable. There's a connection between us.
[Cell phone chimes]
Chelsea: I'm -- I'm sorry. That could be about Connor.
Adam: Of course. Yeah.
Nick: Sharon's arraignment is all over the news, and the chief of police is in the middle of a press conference.
Sage: Is there anything I can do?
Nick: I wish.
Sage: Well, I can handle things here if you want to take some time off.
Nick: Thanks. I may take you up on that.
Sage: You said you were all right with mixing business and pleasure, and we had a great time celebrating my new job as manager, but maybe we got ahead of ourselves.
Nick: How do you mean?
Sage: Well, you got a lot on your plate right now with Sharon and your family. And if you want to take a step back and not see me as much until things settle, you can just say the word. I know our relationship complicates everything in your --
[Knock on door]
Noah: Hey, dad, I need to talk to you.
Nick: Sure, son. Sage, do you mind?
Sage: Uh, no, not at all.
Noah: Hey, dad, mom's in trouble. Everything's just out of control. I think we need to pull together right now, you know, as a family.
Abby: Wait. What are you doing? It's not over yet.
Dylan: You watching Paul's press conference?
Stitch: Yeah, he -- he announced Sharon's arrest and arraignment.
Dylan: Yeah, I know.
Stitch: It's only gonna get worse for her now.
Kyle: Way to go, Paul. I don't know about you, but I suddenly feel a whole lot safer.
Summer: Yeah. Noah and faith must be going through hell, but I still wish the judge would have locked her up instead of letting her out on bail.
Kyle: Yeah.
Summer: House arrest? She killed two people.
Abby: I've been trying to reach Noah, but he hasn't returned any of my texts.
Stitch: Keep trying.
Abby: Will do.
Stitch: You know, your dad sure seems convinced Sharon's guilty.
Dylan: He's just following the evidence. And I'm doing everything I can to prove that it's fake because I believe that Sharon is being framed, and I'm gonna find the killer.
Stitch: How? If she's being set up like you say she is, whoever's been doing it has been one step ahead of you from the beginning.
Dylan: Well, it's time for me to get one step ahead of him.
Michael: Sharon. I know that press conference was upsetting.
Sharon: Not really. It was what I expected.
Michael: Why don't you come down here and sit down, help me review your case so I can make the best possible defense?
Sharon: Michael, I'm incredibly relieved that you're my lawyer. And God knows that I'm grateful that you agreed to stay here so I wouldn't have to be locked up. I know you'd rather be home with Lauren than stuck here with me until the trial. But beyond that, we both know there's nothing you can do. I'm guilty. My life's over.
Nick: How'd the arraignment go?
Noah: I wasn't there. I had to take care of the arrangements for Courtney's... funeral.
Nick: Were you able to get ahold of her parents?
Noah: They were sailing the Mediterranean, so I got ahold of them when they came into port.
Nick: [Sighs] Must have been devastating.
Noah: Yeah, you ought to know. You've been there.
Nick: There's nothing worse. You know, you got this -- this beautiful young girl and she's got her whole life ahead of her, and... then she's gone. You know, you can't believe that someone can be there one day and then gone the next. It's...
Noah: I can't look at her clothes, you know, or her shoes. It's like... knowing that she's not ever gonna -- it's, like, I know that I should go through her closet and I should pack up her things, and I -- just the thought of giving them away, you know, like -- like she was never there, she didn't matter... I can't do it, dad. I just can't. I can't do it.
Nick: Hey, hey, Noah. Noah. You leave them there. Take your time. Go back and do it whenever you're ready.
Noah: Well, her parents are probably gonna take that job away from me anyways. They just want me gone, you know, out of their lives.
Nick: Why?
Noah: Well, when I told them that mom's been charged with murder, they lost it.
Nick: I'm so sorry you're going through this.
Noah: I'm fine. Look, can we talk about mom for just a second? Um, I don't know if you heard, but she's out on bail. Uh, Abby left me a message. Michael is staying with her as part of the deal, like a guardian or something.
Nick: Well, actually, that's a load off my mind, you know. The last thing we need to worry about is your mom trying to flee, which she has done in the past, and it just makes things worse. Now I can focus on faith.
Noah: How much does she know?
Nick: Nothing yet. Faith is home from school today sick. Your grandmother volunteered to keep her distracted. Last time I checked in, she was watching a movie, and then she's gonna go straight to bed, which is great because, honestly, I have no idea how to talk to her about this.
Noah: Faith's an observant, little kid, you know, so she's gonna notice any hint that anything's out of the ordinary. So, you know, it's kind of a good thing that mom's out on bail right now, 'cause they can see each other, you know, like nothing has changed. You know, I think it will be good for both of them.
Nick: That is not gonna happen.
Michael: Now, how can you be guilty if you didn't kill anyone?
Sharon: The police think I did, and there's enough evidence to back it up.
Michael: Mm-hmm. Almost all of it circumstantial.
Sharon: And that didn't deter them from arresting me, did it?
Michael: All right. Sharon, remember when the judge was about to deny you bail because of your history? Still, I was able to get you out. Damn, I'm good.
Sharon: Michael, I know you're the best. But sometimes the best isn't good enough.
Michael: Keep it up. Just bring it. The best way to motivate me is to tell me that something can't be done.
Sharon: If you don't mind wasting your time.
Michael: I'll decide that. If we're gonna poke holes in the state's case, I need you to cooperate. Now, there's some questions I want to clear up.
Sharon: I thought you had everything you needed in that file.
Michael: Not quite. Now, let's talk about this possible murder weapon, the tire iron with your fingerprints on it and some of Austin's blood. Now, Dylan conveniently found it by the side of the road. Chances are we can get it thrown out. [Sighs] He didn't turn it over to the police. He went to an independent lab to have it tested, so the chain of evidence is compromised.
Sharon: Yeah. By your law partner. Sure you want to go down that road?
Michael: Let me do the strategizing. You answer the question. Now, um, do you recall using a tire iron or even handling one over the past several months?
Sharon: No. But who knows? Maybe digging through a tool box.
Michael: So, you -- you do own one?
Sharon: Possibly. I-I guess. I don't know. Doesn't everyone?
Michael: All right. Um, so do you recall a tire iron going missing or anyone you know happening to mention a tire iron that might --
Sharon: I'm gonna make some tea.
Michael: Sharon, you need to focus. Sharon, we have a lot of -- we have a lot of work to do. Sharon!
[Knock on door]
Dylan: Hey.
Michael: I am glad you're here. We're having trouble.
Dylan: [Sighs]
Abby: It's been a wild couple of days, hasn't it?
Kyle: Yeah, well, now that Sharon's been arrested, we can start to get our lives back, try to remember what it was like to live without being stalked.
Summer: Guess that means Stitch won't be your bodyguard anymore.
Abby: Well, I think we're gonna keep things status quo for a while.
Summer: Why? Do you think Sharon's gonna try something while she's out on bail?
Abby: Ben isn't convinced that the cops have the right person.
Kyle: That's crazy. Of course they do.
Summer: That's all there is to it?
Abby: What else would it be?
Summer: I don't know. I mean, Stitch is with Victoria. I'd hate to see you go down that path again.
Abby: And what path is that?
Summer: The one where you steal someone else's man.
Stitch: That's uncalled for, summer. Victoria asked me to keep Abby safe, and I agreed. And if you and Kyle are smart, you won't let your guards down, either.
Kyle: Oh, come on. Do you honestly believe that someone else could be the murderer?
Stitch: Trust me, Kyle. Even when something seems open-and-shut, there can always be a lot more to the story.
Adam: Was that about Connor?
Chelsea: No. No, but I-I should get going.
Adam: Now? Slow down a second. You don't have to go right now. Um, I mean, I know you have a lot to do. We're both on the same page, right? I mean, it's obvious after what happened between us you can't go through with this wedding.
Chelsea: You're right. You're right. I, um... I-I have to go tell him.
Adam: Okay.
[Door closes]
Billy: You're back.
Chelsea: I got your text. You're right. We, um, uh, we -- we do need to talk.
Billy: I kissed Victoria. I did. I... it was right after I happened to get into this fight with Gabriel. And the guy is an unbelievable jerk, by the way. He totally had it coming. He sucker-punched me with this -- anyway, um... after he left, Victoria was there, and we got talking. And it got to be emotional, and I don't even know what happened, Chels. We felt like we were under this spell or something on the verge of...
Chelsea: Kissing?
Billy: Yeah. Only neither of us held back.
Chelsea: So, what does this mean? That Victoria's the one you really want?
Billy: No, I regretted it right after it happened! I'm always gonna care about Victoria, but I don't love her anymore. I-I love you. And all I could think about was coming back here and telling you what happened because I don't want there to be any lies or secrets between us. [Scoffs] I've always been this guy who screws up everything good that comes my way, you know, and I'm sick of it. I don't want to be that guy anymore. I want to be the man that you deserve. I want to give you the future that you deserve. And I want to marry you and spend the next 60 years making you happy. Will you let me do that?
Sage: I just came to get my things. I figured you'd be at work.
Adam: I took a half day. It's probably the best decision I've ever made.
Sage: Oh, really?
Adam: Mm-hmm.
Sage: I don't want to know.
Adam: You don't want to know? How about those divorce papers you shoved in my face?
Sage: Let me guess. You've decided to drag it out just to be a pain in the ass?
Adam: There you go. They're signed, initialed, I's are dotted, T's are crossed. Ink is probably still fresh.
Sage: Wow. You did the decent thing for once.
Adam: Yeah. Now you can go running to nick with the good news that, uh, you're free to spend every second with him as a free woman. Congratulations.
Sage: Why are you being so cooperative? Why this turnaround?
Adam: I don't know. I'm a happy guy.
Sage: Don't even tell me.
Adam: Chelsea just left, actually, and I'm a gentleman, so I won't get into the specifics, but suffice it to say... the future looks bright.
Sage: Because you are lying to her. Because you are keeping your identity from her!
Adam: And that's something that she's never gonna find out, Sage, because if she does, there will be hell to pay. Do me a favor and get your stuff and get out of here.
Chelsea: I don't really know what to say to you, Billy.
Billy: Say that I'm an idiot. Say you want to smack me. In fact, feel free to do that. Just don't say that I've ruined everything. Please tell me that you still love me.
Chelsea: Of course I still love you.
Billy: What I did was stupid, and I am -- I'm so sorry that I hurt you.
Chelsea: You know, we -- we all get caught up in things sometimes, you know, before we know [Clears throat] Before we know what we're doing.
Billy: Are you saying that you understand?
Chelsea: I understand. I understand that maybe you should limit contact with your ex-wife.
Billy: Absolutely.
Chelsea: I mean, if that spark is there, maybe you should try to stay away from each other so everything doesn't just go up in flames.
Billy: That makes sense. Listen, can... can you please forgive me?
Chelsea: [Sighs] We -- we all need to be forgiven sometimes.
Billy: I-I can't tell you what a relief that is. Although I'm guessing that you don't want to talk wedding plans anytime soon.
Chelsea: You know what? I'm so sick of obsessing about the past and -- and looking behind me. I just want to focus on the future. I just want to focus on -- on our future, so... let's just get married right away.
Billy: Okay.
Chelsea: [Laughing] Yeah. [Sniffles]
Noah: You're not really being fair right now. Mom hasn't been convicted of anything. Faith needs her right now. Don't keep them apart.
Nick: I wish I didn't have to, Noah, but I can't keep faith in a bubble. I have to talk to her about this. And it's got to be soon. I don't want her hearing about it any other way.
Noah: And she's not gonna be able to see her mom on top of that? You're just gonna scare the hell out of her!
Nick: Is this really about faith or is it you holding out hope that something comes up that proves Sharon didn't do this?
Noah: What are you talking about? Dad, mom is adamant that she's being set up here. I can't believe that even with all of her problems that she's capable of killing somebody. Not Austin, not Courtney -- especially not Courtney. She loved Courtney.
Nick: I hate thinking that -- that Sharon could do something like this. But it is possible.
Noah: You, too? Do you really think that mom is capable of cold-blooded murder?
Nick: When your mother's back is against a wall, she's reckless. Hell, she's actually dangerous. Do you think honestly that when she torched my parents' house to the ground, she went room to room making sure no one was home? You're a grown man, and you can make your own decisions where your mother is concerned. But faith is a child, and I have to protect her. I can't take any risks.
Noah: From her own mother?
Nick: If necessary, hell yes.
Dylan: I know things look bleak, but you are in the fight of your life. You can't just give up.
Sharon: It's over, Dylan. Everyone is against me.
Dylan: No. No. Not everyone. Michael and I are right here.
Sharon: And the killer is still out there gloating that he's won.
Dylan: What are you talking about? He hasn't won. He may be thinking that he's off the hook because he has the police focusing on you, but as determined as he is to frame you, Michael and I are even more determined to expose his lies. And we can do that if we work together. We got to stop this guy before he hurts anybody else.
Michael: Look, I'll push for a later trial, buy us some time to investigate.
[Cell phone rings]
Michael: Sorry. Excuse me.
Dylan: Will you please try?
Michael: Hey. What's up?
Dylan: I get it that things feel like they're hopeless right now, but they're not, okay? As somebody who cares about what happens to you, will you just... you got to trust me on this.
Sharon: I do trust you. Yes, I will try.
Michael: Yeah. Thanks for the heads up. Uh, that was Kevin. He just got word that the D.A.'S office requested a warrant to search your house tonight.
Dylan: [Sighs]
Sharon: The killer found a way to get my fingerprints on that tire iron, which was enough to get me arrested. What if he also planted something in this house for the cops to find?
Dylan: Okay, whatever it is, we got to find it.
Abby: It's got to be hard for nick, having to keep faith away from her mother.
Noah: He doesn't have to do anything.
Stitch: Hey, it's a tough situation for any family to be in.
Summer: Yeah, I'm gonna try to spend some extra time with faith. And I'm sorry that she's caught in the middle of this, Noah, but dad has custody, and he's really just trying to look out for his daughter.
Kyle: Sharon's been charged with some pretty major crimes. He's just trying to be responsible.
Noah: It's none of your business, Kyle! I don't want to hear it, all right?!
Summer: Noah.
Noah: What?! Do you know where I was before meeting with dad? Why I missed my mother's bond hearing? I was with the funeral director picking out caskets, trying to figure out how I'm gonna bury the woman that I love. So can we just please shut the hell up about my mom taking Courtney's life?
Dylan: Okay, nothing to worry about upstairs.
Michael: Was anything missing?
Sharon: Not that I noticed.
Michael: Well, there was nothing suspicious down here, either.
Sharon: Well, then it's got to be something subtle, something that we will miss but the cops won't.
Dylan: Subtle is not this guy's M.O. We just have to keep looking.
Michael: Check your computer. See if there are any weird e-mails or files you don't recognize.
Sharon: Got it.
Dylan: Hey, I'm gonna, uh, check the garage and I'm gonna go through Sharon's car. Don't give up.
[Door closes]
Adam: Oh, good. I really hope that's the last of your stuff. You know, I don't need you coming back for that strategic leave-behind. Chelsea's gonna be spending a lot more time here. It'll get a little awkward, I think.
Sage: You guys gonna play boyfriend and girlfriend, huh? You know this whole thing's gonna blow up in your face.
Adam: Only if you open your big mouth. And I think I've made that very clear how devastating that would be for you, right?
Sage: You still don't get it. This isn't about me. This isn't even about Billy. You and Chelsea are not gonna have a real relationship because what you have shared together is based on a lie. And she's gonna know deep down that something isn't right, there is something that you're not telling her. And whether she finds out on her own or you mess it up, she's gonna find out. You've already come close to revealing yourself to her.
Adam: You know what? I am so sick of you declaring that I'm doomed to fail. I'm gonna be fine, Sage, okay? I'm gonna get Chelsea back. I'm gonna get my son back. It's gonna take a little time, but we're gonna be the family that we're supposed to be. So, I gave you the divorce. Why don't you just go play house with nick and -- and, you know, just get the hell out of my life, please?! Pretty please.
Sage: You got it. Hey, Chelsea. Oh, don't look concerned. This divorce is almost official, and I couldn't be happier.
Chelsea: Oh, um, I'm -- I'm glad if that's what you want.
Sage: You have no idea how relieved I am to be out of this marriage. The Gabe that you've come to know is not the man I know. He's very charming and very persuasive.
Chelsea: Why are you telling me this?
Sage: Because I like you. Because I think you're a good person. And I want you to think long and hard before you make any life-changing decisions. Because now that these papers are signed, Gabe can pursue you without any obstacles. And lord knows he's a force to be reckoned with.
Noah: Thanks, man.
Stitch: You're welcome.
Summer: Look, Noah, I'm sorry that we upset you. I-I get what it's like to plan a service for someone that you love who's been ripped away from you. I get it. Is there anything I can do to help you?
Noah: Actually, yeah. Yeah, there is.
Summer: Okay, name it.
Noah: I need to pick out an outfit for Courtney 'cause I-I don't really know what she'd want to be buried in, you know?
Summer: Yeah, well, she always looked really pretty in that royal blue dress, you know, with the lace around the neck.
Noah: Yeah. I-I wanted to wear the necklace that I got her as a wedding present, but I haven't been able to find it.
Abby: What does it look like?
Noah: Um, it's -- it's silver and long and it has a little starburst.
Summer: I know exactly the one that you're talking about. And, uh, when I helped her get dressed before the wedding, she was wearing it then, so...
Noah: Are you sure? 'Cause at the morgue, they gave me her things, remember, and it wasn't there. Would you help me maybe look for it at our place? Maybe she decided to take it off, not wear it last minute?
Summer: Yeah, I-I can help you look, but I'm pretty sure that she was wearing it when she left my apartment. She didn't say anything about taking it off.
Noah: Okay. Well, I'll text you later about meeting up, okay? I'm gonna go see my mom, let her know where my dad stands on everything. See you, guys.
Abby: I hope you can find the necklace, 'cause if not, that could mean that it fell off at the cabin.
Kyle: Or wherever Courtney was killed.
Stitch: There's another possibility. The killer could have it.
Sharon: There's nothing here I don't recognize.
Michael: Check the trash.
Sharon: Okay. No. It's fine. I think we're all good.
Michael: I do, too. I think we should make another pass through the kitchen. There's just so many things there that are potentially damaging to --
Dylan: I found this in the trunk of your car. Does this belong to you?
Man: Excuse me. Mrs. Bingham?
Sage: Ms. Warner.
Man: Oh.
Sage: Um, what can I do for you?
Man: Well, uh, your credit card was declined. I ran it through myself twice. I-I apologize, but unless you have some alternate form of payment, I'm afraid I won't be able to hold your suite.
Nick: Here, man. Try this one, bud.
Sage: What? What? No. No. Absolutely not.
Nick: Uh, no, that's all right. I-I got a lot of money. [Chuckles]
Man: [Chuckles] Thank you very much.
Nick: Thanks, bud.
Man: Mm-hmm.
Sage: This is so embarrassing.
Nick: Why? It's okay, really.
Sage: No, I'm gonna find a cheaper place. I don't want your charity. Mr. Tipton has tied up my personal inheritance from Constance, but it's just gonna be temporary, so...
Nick: Just think of it as an advance on your salary. I mean, it's the least I could do.
[Doorbell rings]
Chelsea: Hey.
Adam: Hey. How'd it go? What's wrong? Come in. Come in. You all right? Chelsea, what's wrong?
Chelsea: I-I couldn't tell Billy.
Adam: All right, yeah. No, um... yeah, it's -- it's a difficult thing.
Chelsea: He's my fiancé, Gabe.
Adam: It's a commitment that you take very seriously. I know that. There's a reason why you wound up in my arms tonight, Chelsea. It's because you know everything that I've ever said to you about wanting to be with you comes from right here, comes from my heart. You're the only woman that matters to me.
Chelsea: Why me?
Adam: I think you know why.
Chelsea: I know what you've told me.
Adam: Okay, listen. Remember, um, remember awhile back when I came to your office to pitch a new ad campaign and -- and we started tossing around ideas? You remember that?
Chelsea: Yeah.
Adam: Your face just lit up and you said that I inspire you to want to be creative again. Yeah. That's what you do to me with that smile that you wear around town and your optimism that you always seem to carry with you no matter what. Except for when you're with Billy.
Chelsea: That is not true.
Adam: It is true. Chelsea, it's true, and I've seen it. As long as you stay with him, you're always gonna be insecure about it. Because you know there's always gonna be a part of him that belongs to Victoria. You shouldn't have to settle for anything less than what you deserve.
Chelsea: I'm not settling, Gabe!
Adam: Good, great. Then we have that -- you know, if it's too tough for you to tell him, I can tell him. I'll go right now and tell him.
Chelsea: Hey, no, stop, stop. He's at a meeting.
Adam: He's at a meeting. Okay, I can call him.
Chelsea: Please! Please, will you just listen to me? Billy and I, we're... we're still getting married.
Adam: What are you talking about? You're still getting -- you can't get married, not after what happened. What --
Chelsea: We can. And as a matter of fact, we're getting married as soon as possible.
Sharon: This isn't my necklace. I've never seen it before.
Michael: Are you sure?
Sharon: Very. And that's good, right?
Dylan: Good? How do you figure that?
Sharon: Someone is setting me up. This is the proof that we've needed. Whoever killed Courtney probably stole this and planted it in my car to make me look even guiltier than I already do!
Noah: That's Courtney's necklace. That's Courtney's necklace. She had it on when she died. What are you doing with it?
Abby: I feel so bad for Noah. There's so many horrible things swirling around him, and he can't control any of it.
Stitch: Look, he's being pulled in a lot of different directions, none of them pleasant.
Abby: But do you think he'll make it through this? Losing Courtney and now Sharon's arrest?
Stitch: He's a tough kid, you know, and he's got a great support system. He's got access to a lot of resources, surrounded by people who care about him. It's gonna take some time, but he'll be all right.
Abby: It definitely helps knowing that there's someone looking out for you.
Stitch: Hey, it's, uh, it's getting late. Um, why don't we head back to the club, call it a night, right?
Abby: There's something that I need to ask you first, about why you decided to stay with me.
Kyle: It's got to be hard for you, you know, hearing Noah talking about burying Courtney. You just went through all that yourself not too long ago.
Summer: Yeah. I try to push past it, but it's always there. Kind of like my new normal.
Kyle: Hey, let me take you home and make you dinner or give you a massage. Whatever I can do just to take your mind off all this heavy stuff for a while, yeah?
Summer: Kyle, you've been amazing. You really have. And it's so easy to -- to be with you and depend on you.
Kyle: It's been my pleasure, summer.
Summer: You really are the perfect escape for everything that's been happening these past few weeks. But... Austin had -- he died not that long ago, and now you and I are together in like every sort of way. I don't know. I just think we may have moved too fast.
Adam: How can you marry Billy Abbott?
Chelsea: You don't even know him.
Adam: I do know him.
Chelsea: What? In a few months, you've been able to learn everything you need to know about Billy Abbott?
Adam: I feel like I know the type, okay? And you can't marry him. Just earlier, what -- what did you say? You said you couldn't go through with the wedding. This is the rest of your life we're talking about here!
Chelsea: Okay, when I showed up here and kissed you, you asked me what happened, and I didn't tell you the whole truth, and that was wrong of me.
Adam: What happened?
Chelsea: I saw Billy kissing Victoria, and I assumed that meant that he was finally going back to her, so I was very angry, and I was very confused, and I was -- I was just looking for a way to lash out at him.
Adam: You found me.
Chelsea: But he's not going back to her, and -- and it was a mistake, just like throwing myself at you was a mistake.
Adam: Don't say that. No, it didn't feel like a mistake.
Chelsea: I understand your feelings, Gabe, but --
Adam: We have a connection that is undeniable. And that's why you're crying right now. You can feel it, right?
Chelsea: As friends. And you want it to be more, and I can't give that to you because I just... I just don't feel the same way. I was just hurt, and I was acting out, so I-I used you. That's all it was. I'm sorry. I think it's best for the both of us if we just pretend this never happened.
Adam: Please don't go.
Billy: What's going on? And what are you doing at Gabe's?
Stitch: You having second thoughts about our arrangement?
Abby: No, no, I'm -- I'm very grateful, but I'm just starting to wonder how Victoria feels about it now that Sharon's been arrested.
Stitch: Maybe she thinks I'm inventing reasons to stay with you.
Abby: [Chuckles] That's -- that's crazy.
Stitch: Maybe it's not.
Kyle: Sure, yeah. Um... the last thing I want is to push you into anything that you're not ready for.
Summer: No, you -- you didn't push me at all. That's not what I meant.
Kyle: Look, I'm always here for you, summer, no matter what. You just -- you call and I'll come running.
Summer: Kyle, no, don't go. I don't -- I don't want you to feel like you have to keep your distance from me. I just -- I just want to slow things down. That's all. But I do need you in my life.
Sage: That was very generous of you to give me that loan. I promise I will pay you back.
Nick: I don't doubt that for one second. I'm just glad I was in the right place at the right time. But why I really wanted to see you was to, uh, finish our conversation that we were having earlier.
Sage: Oh, it's all right. I understand. Noah's had a sudden tragic loss, and he needs his dad.
Nick: Yeah. Not that we're seeing eye-to-eye right now.
Sage: Well, all the more reason that you need to be around your family.
Nick: Well, what I wanted to tell you was you're not complicating my life at all. You're making it better. So why would I want to step back from that? You're like this bright, shiny light in the middle of the darkness.
Sage: I am?
Nick: Yeah. I'm serious. I couldn't get through this without you.
Chelsea: I wanted Gabe to hear from me that you and I are moving up our wedding.
Billy: Hmm. Let me guess. He tried to change your mind.
Chelsea: No, no, he -- he didn't.
Billy: Some people just don't know when to back off, do they? Still think you can take her from me, don't you?
Adam: You know, I did. I told her the truth. [Sighs] That it would be a mistake marrying you.
Billy: [Scoffs]
Chelsea: I'm -- I'm hoping that you'll accept it now and -- and move forward.
Billy: Look, I'm glad you shut the guy down, but I really don't want to talk about him anymore, especially when we have a wedding to plan. Come here. [Sighs]
Noah: Answer me. Where did you get Courtney's necklace?
Michael: We just now found it.
Noah: Where?
Dylan: In the trunk of your mother's car.
Sharon: Noah, I swear I had nothing to do with this. I had no idea this was Courtney's!
Dylan: Somebody planted it to frame Sharon.
Noah: I got that, uh, that necklace for my fiancée so that she could wear it for our wedding. And I've been looking everywhere for it so that she could wear it on her funeral. And it shows up here in your hands.
Sharon: Sweetie --
Noah: Were you gonna get rid of it? What --
Dylan: Noah, look, if the police hear where we found the necklace, it's --
Noah: They'd have even more evidence that she's the killer! What -- what else are they supposed to think when she's got the -- the jewelry that Courtney was wearing when she was murdered?!
Sharon: Noah, you know that I didn't kill her!
Noah: I don't know anything! God, mom! I want to believe you, but every damn thing just keeps on pointing back at you!
[Knock on door]
Officer: Genoa City police! Open up! We have a warrant to search the premises!
Sharon: Noah, please.
Next on "The Young and the Restless"...
Christine: If the two of you did not share a son, you would be standing up there with Neil.
Paul: I can't find one person, including you, that isn't trying to deceive me.
Victor: It's your brother on that tape, and all your desperate measures will not save him.
Jack: Save me from what?
