Episode # 10613 ~ Victor sets his plan into action; Jill & Colin want to help Cane & Lily; Abby wants answers from Kyle.

Provided By Suzanne

Jack: What the...?

Victor: You seemed so uncomfortable. I thought I'd put you out of your misery.

Abby: You were coming to my party?

Kyle: Abby, you invited me.

Abby: Yeah, but if you were gonna make the trip from New York, Kyle, you should have called me.

Kyle: What? I get no sympathy for being in the hospital, in a wheelchair?

Abby: I'm sorry. Uh, what happened?

Kyle: I got stuck in the snow, and then I decided to walk to the cabin.

Abby: In a snowstorm?

Kyle: Yeah, but the snow had slacked off, and it wasn't that far. And then I slipped on some ice and ended up in a ravine.

Abby: Oh, my God. Did you break anything?

Kyle: No. I'm fine. Paul just insisted I come here to make sure there are no internal injuries.

Abby: Chief of police Paul?

Kyle: He was there when they pulled me out. He was with Summer and some of the others.

Abby: You -- you talked to Summer? Well, what did she tell you?

Kyle: That her husband went missing from the party. How does that even happen?

Abby: I'm not sure. We all got pretty messed up on the punch.

Kyle: What's got you looking so worried? Summer's husband's probably come back by now.

Abby: Kyle, tonight, there was a, um...

Kyle: Got to run, abs. This lovely nurse is taking me to be examined. Don't go anywhere, though! We have a lot to talk about!

Mariah: Did anybody else think we were gonna find Austin's body in there?

Summer: Kyle would never hurt Austin!

Mariah: I-I didn't mean -- I just --

Summer: No, Kyle is a good guy! He knew how much I love my husband! He never even met Austin before!

Noah: Summer, it's okay.

Mariah: Can you manage to remember that we are on the same side?

Kevin: Whoa, there's nothing weird in here except this.

Mariah: Is that...?

Noah: Yeah. It's blood.

Esther: [Gasps] Oh, my God! Oh, thank God! I-I have been praying so hard for you!

Jill: Oh, my God. Get off me, Esther, please.

Esther: Ooh, you're cranky. That means you really are all right. But -- but your arm...

Colin: Uh, just a fracture, Esther.

Cane: Thanks for babysitting, Esther.

Lily: How are the twins?

Esther: They're great. While you were at the hospital, I gave them dinner, and now they're watching a video.

Cane: They didn't have more questions?

Esther: No. I'm so glad that you survived that plane crash. I mean, Paul kept me in the loop, and he told me about that poor pilot dying. I have been so worried.

Jill: Esther, could we not talk about the plane crash, please?

Esther: What about Devon? Wasn't he on the plane, too?

Colin: Devon's okay.

Esther: Oh.

Lily: Um, I'm gonna go check on the twins.

Esther: But wait! What about Neil and Hilary? Are they okay?

Devon: She's resting well. It's a good thing that they brought her here for post-op recovery.

Neil: All right.

Devon: I'm glad that you're here.

Neil: I don't want to get into this.

Devon: I don't want to get into anything, either. But I do want to thank you for what you did. Trudging through the snow like that and getting us help. You -- you, um... you saved all of our lives.

Neil: Don't thank me. Thank lily. As I was trudging through the snow, I thought of lily. Not you. If she weren't there, I'd have let you and everybody freeze to death.

Victor: Now, sit up.

Jack: Why?

Victor: You want the damn pillow or not?

Jack: You're offering me comfort?

Victor: What does it look like?

Jack: I don't know. It looks like there's something in this for you.

Victor: There is.

Jack: [Sighs]

Victor: The doctors say I need rest before they release me from this damn place, okay? I can't get any rest because you keep on babbling at night.

Jack: Hasn't exactly been a cakewalk for me, either. I'm trying to get out of here so I can get back to Phyllis, who has a good sense now not to stay with you.

Victor: Are you sure you wouldn't rather get back to Kelly? It's her name you keep on babbling in your -- in your dreams.

Jack: Oh, nice try. Never happened.

Victor: Oh, yeah? Next time I'll have a recorder in here and then we'll record it. Your sweet dreams will be played to Phyllis. What do you think she'll think?

Jack: Or you could just check yourself out of here.

Victor: I can't. It's against doctor's orders.

Jack: You're the great and powerful Victor Newman. You don't take orders from anybody.

Victor: I nearly passed out at home.

Jack: Wait. You fainted?

Victor: I don't faint. I staggered. Worried my family, okay?

Jack: I wish I could had seen that.

Victor: I bet you would. You know, I staggered because I ran out of energy because I saved your sorry ass --

Jack: Oh, God. Look, if I did mention Kelly's name in my sleep -- which I doubt I did --

Victor: You did. You did.

Jack: If I did, it was out of frustration for the way she manipulated Phyllis.

Victor: Oh, really?

Jack: What does that mean?

Victor: You and I are in here alone right now. So you just tell me, admit to me that you lied to Phyllis.

Jack: I didn't lie.

Victor: You had a little, teeny bit of a sliver of an opening left into Phyllis' life. So you told her what she wanted to hear.

Jack: No, I told her the truth.

Victor: But you left out just a little bit of information. You had sex with Kelly before the underground collapsed!

Jack: My private life is none of your damn business!

Victor: Ooh. That doesn't sound like a denial.

Devon: You don't mean what you said.

Hilary: Devon.

Devon: Hey. Hey. I'm glad you're awake. Let me get your doctor for you.

Hilary: No, wait. I'll -- I'll be fine. I hear you're responsible for that. Last thing I remember, you'd gone out into the snow. I was so worried. Thank you for helping us despite the fact that you must... hate me now.

Devon: I think you must care on some level since you came to see how Hilary's doing.

Neil: I am here because the admissions office needed Hilary's insurance information. We have a joint policy because, of course, Devon, we are husband and wife. The nurse... also gave me these. Perfect circles. Symbols of eternal love. Shall I put them on your finger?

Devon: Neil, we don't need to do this right now, man.

Neil: Maybe... you'd like to wear this one.

Hilary: [Sighs]

Neil: Yeah, that's right. I found this one. Was a gift from my dishonorable son to my lovestruck wife. Wasn't well-hidden. My guess is, you didn't think I would ever see it. Maybe because you didn't think I'd see anything ever again. And the funny thing is... I thought I saw this before. It was new year's day, and I saw this bright, white, glittering light. It was in your hand. And it was the first thing that I had seen in months. It gave me hope. May it be as meaningful to Hilary as her wedding ring was.

Lily: You did a great job keeping the twins occupied. Thank you.

Esther: Oh, glad to do it.

Cane: They could barely tear themselves away from the movie to say hello.

Colin: So, they never really got concerned at all.

Cane: No, they didn't even know there was any danger.

Jill: Wait a minute. This is your idea of babysitting? You plunk them in front of a DVD player?

Esther: We were making art projects, too.

Jill: Hmm.

Esther: Mattie was busy earlier making valentines. Actually, she did this one for Neil and Hilary, but she really poured her heart into this one for you and Cane.

Cane: Look at that. She knows exactly how I feel for her mom.

Lily: It's a very nice drawing.

Esther: Oh, you must be cold.

Jill: Esther, I'm not an invalid!

Esther: Well, I just thought you might need --

Jill: A drink! Ah, you want to help me? Get me a drink.

Esther: Well, you stared death in the face and survived, so I guess a drink isn't too much to ask. Anybody else?

Colin: Bring the bottle.

Jill: [Laughs]

Esther: Thank you.

Cane: So, um, I told them their grandpa's got his arm all bandaged up, and they want to decorate it.

Colin: I would be delighted.

Jill: Did you tell the twins anything about what happened?

Lily: Cane handled it really well. He said that we got stuck in the snow and had to come home early. He made it sound like we were off having fun.

Colin: They never did get scared ever, did they?

Jill: Good.

Cane: Sometimes you have to soft-peddle the truth for the greater good.

Lily: Yeah, but you also shouldn't lie to the people that you love the most.

Cane: Sweetheart...

Lily: So now we have to figure out a way to tell Mattie and Charlie why daddy won't be living here anymore.

Cane: Baby, I know that you are upset.

Lily: Yes, I'm still upset. I just found out that you've been lying to me for months. So yes, I am still upset.

Cane: Okay, so then let's work this out together, all right?

Lily: Okay, yeah. We'll handle it exactly how you handled Devon and Hilary's affair. Oh, well, wait. That was by yourself. Together never even entered your mind.

Jill: You know what? Cane was in a very difficult situation.

Colin: He had no choice.

Lily: No, there is always a choice. And his first thought and loyalty should have been to his wife.

Cane: My first thought was to you.

Lily: If you tell me one more time that you lied to me for my own good, I swear...

Cane: All right, I've already apologized many times, but let me do it again, okay? I am sorry. I am sorry I kept Devon's secret from you. And I understand you're furious at me, but I am not the one who cheated on my spouse.

Lily: Well, that's funny, 'cause it sure feels that way.

Jill: You know what? This has been a very long day, so I think we should go home and talk about this later when clearer heads prevail, okay?

Cane: Yeah, we should do that.

Lily: Actually, I don't think that you should be here right now.

Cane: You want me to leave?

Lily: I think it's for the best.

Cane: All right, listen to me, sweetheart. Don't break up this family over this.

Lily: You broke up this family when you broke our trust.

Cane: All right, if you want me to go, I'll go.

[Door slams]

[Door closes]

Jill: Did you learn nothing at all from last night?

Esther: Still want your drinks?

Jack: I see no reason to discuss my personal life with you -- not Phyllis, not Kelly, not business, not anything!

Victor: You resent my prodding, don't you?

Jack: Oh, you noticed that, did you?

Victor: Because it makes you face your own hypocrisy!

Jack: Because you have already insinuated yourself into my life with Phyllis one too many times! And now you're trying to figure out a way to come between us again!

Victor: I don't need to do that. You're doing a hell of a job in that department yourself.

Jack: You tried to be her white knight for a while there. That didn't exactly work out. Now you're using this whole Kelly thing!

Victor: Phyllis just told us that she is going to go full force in a legal defense against Kelly.

Jack: That is none of your damn business!

Victor: She needs me, whether you like it or not! You and I are going to be united for a very short while in common cause.

Jack: [Sighs]

Kyle: [Clears throat] Clean bill of health.

Abby: Yeah, the doctor already told me.

Kyle: Don't they have some kind of oath prohibiting that kind of spillage?

Abby: I'm your emergency contact.

Kyle: Note to self -- change that.

Abby: But we're cousins.

Kyle: Yeah, no offense, Abby, but, um, you have a big mouth. And I think we've both grown beyond having access to each other's personal medical information, don't you think?

Abby: I just wanted to make sure you were all right before I... wait. How did you do it?

Kyle: Do what? Become phenomenally successful at such a young age? Managed to be charming, handsome, brilliant?

Abby: No, how did you slip on ice and fall down a ravine and not get a single scratch on you?

Kyle: Luck of the Abbotts, I guess.

Summer: We should just drive Kyle's car back to town like we were going to.

Noah: Maybe we should call Courtney.

Mariah: Like hell.

Noah: She's a part of this.

Kevin: She did go along with our plan of hiding the body.

Noah: And she's my girlfriend. You think after everything, she'd sell us out?

Mariah: Yes. What? Do you think she's all-in just because she took a few steps towards the dark side? She's still a cop! And if we keep throwing evidence at her --

Summer: It's not evidence! It's just a towel! Okay, and there's no way that that's even Austin's blood.

Kevin: It could be. Maybe Kyle found the body and moved it.

Summer: [Scoffs]

Mariah: And after all you guys said, this Kyle guy would do anything for Summer.

Kevin: If he did move the body, where is it?

Noah: And if he didn't?

Kevin: [Sighs]

[Television playing]

Jack: Hey, hey, hey, hey! I was watching that! It's the financial news!

Victor: As much as I enjoy watching Jabot's losses, I want to watch a sporting event, all right?

[Channel changes]

Victor: Must you be so damn difficult, Jack?

Jack: Must you make everything about yourself?

[Door opens]

Victor: You talk to me?

Jack: Yes!

Abby: Right where I left you -- still snarking at each other. Hi, daddy.

Victor: Hi, sweetheart.

Abby: And, uncle Jack, I have something that might help speed up your recovery.

Jack: Oh, fantastic! My own room!

Kyle: [Sighs] Hi, Dad.

Jack: Kyle! What are you doing here? How'd you know?

Kyle: I didn't. Abby just told me about the roof caving at underground.

Jack: Yeah, it was pretty dicey there for a while.

Kyle: Your heart stopped?

Jack: So I'm told.

Kyle: Thank you for taking care of my dad, Victor.

Victor: You're welcome, Kyle.

Abby: Well, I will let you two catch up. And, dad, the nurses are just doing their job, so stop haranguing them about when you can get out of here.

Victor: Not gonna promise it, sweetheart.

Jack: So, talk to me. Tell me what's going on! I want to hear everything!

Victor: Listen, I'm gonna find the damn doctor and have him sign me out of here.

Jack: Oh, what a great idea.

Victor: Oh, by the way, Kyle, always meant to tell you that I'm sorry what happened when you worked at Newman, all right?

Kyle: Me, too. Um, hopefully I've matured a lot since then.

Victor: Well, I want to tell you that I can't fault you for wanting to support your family and support your family's business.

Kyle: Did he just cut me a break for having spied on Newman?

Jack: I don't know what that was. Maybe his injuries have affected his personality. Anyway, forget about him. What are you doing in town?

Kyle: Abby invited me to a party.

Jack: Why didn't you tell me you were coming?

Kyle: I wanted it to be a surprise for everyone. And I thought it would be a good opportunity to finally meet Summer's husband. But I guess I won't get that chance now.

Jack: Why not?

Mariah: Thank you.

Noah: Hey. Have you seen Kyle?

Abby: Uh, yeah. He's in with uncle Jack. I can't believe he came all this way to come to my party. Did they find Austin's body?

Kevin: Not yet.

Abby: You all look really stressed. Did another horrible thing happen?

Noah: Abby, we think that Kyle might know where Austin's body is.

Abby: Kyle?

Kevin: We found this in the trunk of his car.

Abby: A bloody towel isn't exactly compelling evidence.

Mariah: You do have to admit it's weird that he just showed up out of nowhere right after Austin's body went missing.

Kevin: Who else would have moved it?

Abby: Kyle didn't have time to move it. He was too busy falling...into A...

Summer: What?

Abby: Kyle said that he fell into a ravine when he was walking to the cabin.

Mariah: And?

Abby: But the doctor said he didn't have a scratch on him.

Noah: How is that possible?

Abby: Why would Kyle go to such great lengths to cover up what we've done?

Mariah: There's no limit to what you'll do for the person that you care about.

Colin: You mind if I join you?

Cane: You can do whatever you want to do.

Colin: You got every right to be angry.

Cane: I'm angry at Devon and Hilary for betraying Neil. I am angry at you for blackmailing Devon. I am angry at myself for not telling lily about the affair as soon as I knew about it.

Colin: [Sighs] You did what you thought was best. She'll figure that out when she cools off.

Cane: Yeah, well, I'm not so sure, 'cause basically she said our marriage is over. And if she meant it, then right now, I am -- most of all, I am angry with lily.

Jill: Esther, surely you must have something to do at home.

Esther: Of course, but maybe I could help here.

Jill: Well, yes, you can help by letting me speak with lily alone, okay?

[Door opens]

Esther: Okay. I'll be back tomorrow.

Jill: Yeah, we're all looking forward to that a lot. Bye.

Esther: Bye.

[Door closes]

Jill: Lily, stop pacing and come talk to me.

Lily: There is nothing you can say that will change what Cane did.

Jill: Well, maybe I can change your attitude. For God's sake, we've just been through a plane crash.

Lily: Yeah, I understand it was a miracle that we survived. You don't have to remind me of that.

Jill: Well, I think I do because you're turning your back on your husband.

Lily: After what Cane did to me?

Jill: He betrayed your trust and he hurt your feelings. Yes, it's disturbing.

Lily: Are you kidding me? It's more than that. How can I ever trust him again?

Jill: By remembering how much he loves you. I watched him search every inch of that plane-crash site. He was dying inside. I felt his anguish when he saw something in the snow and he thought it was you and not our poor, dead pilot.

Lily: Yeah, I understand that. As mad as I am, I would have done the exact same thing. But that does not negate him lying to me. [Sighs]

Jill: Okay. Okay. Hmm. I'm gonna tell you what I believe. I believe that the reason we survived out there is 'cause each one of us has somebody who loved them more than we loved ourselves, who kept us alive. We were in a life-threatening situation, and I don't know about you, but you know what it taught me? It taught me that love can overcome any adversity.

Lily: Try telling that to my father.

Neil: So, I'm gonna pack all your stuff and have it sent over to the athletic club. Should I address it to the suite where I discovered you with my son?

Devon: Okay. Dad, Hilary almost died. Do you really think you need to make her feel worse right now?

Neil: I'm gonna go finish the paperwork.

Devon: I just want to look at you and never stop. 'Cause after everything we've been through, I almost lost you.

Hilary: But you didn't.

Devon: No, I didn't. And now the truth is out. I know it didn't happen the way we planned. But at least everyone knows and we can be together.

Hilary: And Neil hates us.

Devon: It was inevitable.

Hilary: It was one thing to imagine it. But to see the way he looks at us, especially you, Devon... his son.

Devon: I know. But I love you.

Hilary: You care so much about what Neil thinks about you. Losing his respect, his love... must feel like a knife through your heart.

Devon: What's tough is seeing him hurt. But I, um... I've been thinking that we probably should leave town for a little while and -- and not flaunt our relationship in front of Neil and the family and just let the dust settle a little bit.

Hilary: I could easily pull up stakes. I don't have any roots here. But Neil isn't the only thing you'd be leaving behind, Devon.

Devon: I think lily can take care of the club by herself.

Hilary: The memory of your grandmother and Jill and Cane and lily and the twins?

Devon: I don't think I'm very high on any of their lists right now except maybe the twins.

Hilary: What? What is it?

Devon: I don't know if lily's ever gonna let me see Charlie and Mattie again. Or if Neil's gonna let me see Moses.

Hilary: Devon...

Devon: It's -- I, uh, maybe we just -- it's okay. We need to go, though. We do, 'cause Cane is not gonna forgive me anytime soon, and I doubt lily ever will. But, you know, if that's the way it has to be, then that's the way it has to be.

Colin: You realize that lily's the innocent bystander in all of this.

Cane: Yeah, she is, isn't she, 'cause she had no knowledge of Devon or Hilary's affair or of the cover-up or your blackmail.

Colin: Well, why are you angry at her, then?

Cane: 'Cause all she sees is I kept this from her, that she thinks I had no consideration for her feelings when all I did was care about how she felt. I mean, she would have done the exact same thing if she was in my position. And you know what? She actually did the same thing with that Tyler guy when that whole flirting thing began. She didn't tell me anything about that in that beginning. And when she finally decides to come clean, she says, "Cane, I didn't tell you 'cause I didn't want to upset you."

Colin: That sounds reasonable.

Cane: So does me not wanting to upset her. She would be devastated if she knew her brother was having an affair with her father's wife. So why can't she see that I kept this from her because I did it out of love and not because I was being selfish?

Colin: Maybe she's not ready to.

Cane: Or maybe because the person I'm married to does not know me as well as I thought they did.

Jill: No man should be hurt the way Neil's been hurt.

Lily: He's drinking again. This could kill him.

Jill: Katherine fell off the wagon several times, and she got right back on. So we can pray that the same thing will happen with Neil.

Lily: And what if that doesn't work?

Jill: Then it's down to him and the choices Neil makes. Honey, right now, we're talking about your choices.

Lily: Cane knew for months -- for months -- that woman was cheating on my father.

Jill: So what? You gonna hand Hilary another casualty -- of your marriage, of your family? You cannot give up on Cane. I know how much you love him.

Lily: Of course. I love him so much. But obviously he doesn't love me enough to be open and honest with me.

Jill: Oh, lord! Or maybe -- maybe, lily, he loves you so much that he wants to shield you from any kind of pain! Look, you think I don't know what it feels like to get past lies and forgive them? Have you met my husband?

Lily: No offense, Jill, but that's what you signed up for. You knew what you were getting yourself into. Colin is a shady person. Cane and I are supposed to be different.

Jill: [Chuckles] According to what rulebook? Cane is human. Cane made a mistake. Are you afraid to admit that maybe you've made a mistake?

Lily: No. Of course not.

Jill: Then forgive him. 'Cause the bottom line here is, shady or not, my life is so much better with Colin in it. And I defy you to tell me that yours isn't with Cane in it.

Victor: I need to see you right away.

Kyle: I only meant that I may not get a chance to meet Austin this time around.

Jack: So this is just a short trip?

Kyle: Yeah, I'd, uh, I'd only planned on a couple of days.

Jack: Well, that's better than nothing, right?

Kyle: I tell you what. I have wrapped up some of my business in New York. I don't have to exactly leave right away.

Jack: We've all missed you. Ashley's living at the house. Wait till you see your new cousin.

Kyle: Ah. Billy's baby. I can't wait to meet her.

Jack: Any chance I can talk you in to moving back here for good?

Kyle: Uh, yeah, I don't know about that, dad. Um... but look, I'm not going anywhere until you're up and around, okay? [Chuckles] I'll let you rest, all right?

Jack: Yeah.

Kyle: Okay.

Jack: Kyle.

Kyle: Yeah?

Jack: I'm glad you're here.

Victor: Nice to see you, Kyle.

Kyle: Victor.

Victor: Hmm. You should be proud of your boy. I heard he's doing well in New York. Must have learned a hell of a lot while he was working for me.

Jack: Wait, wait, wait. You've been checking up on him in New York? I told you -- stay the hell out of my personal life.

Victor: Not possible, Jack.

Victor: I think our perpetual rivalry makes us both forget that this town is really big enough for both of us.

Jack: What exactly are you suggesting?

Victor: You know, that we let each other be.

Jack: This from a man who'd rather see me dead.

Victor: Oh, wait a minute. I didn't let you croak in that rubble back there, and, I mean, how would you have felt if I had met my maker back there?

Jack: Okay, keep talking.

Victor: I think we need to both stick around for each other. I mean, what fun would that be to defeat a rival that is not a worldly adversary?

Jack: You're suggesting that we actually get along, that we treat each other with respect?

Victor: We've tried everything else.

Victor: Listen, don't you do anything you're gonna -- don't do that!

Jack: You want this chair?

[Glass shattering]

Jack: Have a seat -- on me.

[Wind whistling]

Jack: A world where Victor Newman and Jack Abbott actually get along. I'm not sure what that looks like. So, we go on camping trips, hunting, fishing, or just play cards?

Victor: Whoa, whoa, whoa. I wouldn't go that far, okay? We remain enemies, that's for sure.

Jack: But friendly enemies.

Kyle: Great. So you got my car back.

Mariah: Why are you in such a hurry to find out what happened to your car?

Kyle: Because it's a car that I rented, and generally you have to give those back. So, thanks for your help. Hey. Noah. You know, I hope we're cool after the way things went down between us at Newman.

Noah: Water under the bridge, man. I'm really more interested about what happened at the cabin. Why'd you lie about being there?

Kyle: I didn't lie. I never made it.

Noah: Oh, that's -- that's funny because I remember seeing you through the window the night of the party.

Kyle: Yeah, Noah, whoever you saw, it wasn't me.

Kevin: Let's cut to the chase. Why'd you have this bloody towel in the trunk of your car?

Neil: I've given the hospital all the information they're gonna need. Paperwork's done. Our business has concluded. Which means that we are done.

Hilary: Neil, wait. There's something you need to know.

Neil: What more do I need to know that I don't know already?

Hilary: I tried to tell you something after the crash.

Neil: I don't need to hear any more explanations or any excuses or anything like that.

Hilary: But you haven't heard the truth.

Neil: But see, I finally saw the truth with my own eyes.

Hilary: That woman who came to town over a year and a half ago bent on revenge, the one who did such despicable things to you and your entire family? That's who I am, Neil. That's who I've always been.

Neil: Really? No, you gonna play that card now? As if it would make me happy --

happy to think that you hadn't changed? Come on, now. What you did then and cheating on your husband now, they're two totally different things.

Hilary: [Chuckles] Not when the goal is the same. See, I came to town to take down the man who destroyed my family. That was my sole purpose, and I never lost sight of that.

Neil: That's not possible.

Hilary: Anything's possible, Neil. See, I made this happen. And I finally got what I wanted. To take down you and yours.

Kyle: So, why did you guys go through my rental car?

Abby: Kyle, can you please just explain the bloody towel?

Kyle: Sure. I had a boxing lesson right before I hit the road, and I took one to the nose. I guess I need a few more lessons, huh? Okay, why do I get the feeling you guys are accusing me of something?

Mariah: We, uh, can't find Austin.

Kyle: You said he wandered off. He hasn't come back yet? Guys, what's going on? What really happened to Austin?

Lily: Maybe I do need to listen to Cane's side of things.

Jill: That's all I'm saying.

Lily: Okay. I'll go tell the children that Cane will be home to tuck them in.

Jill: Honey, are you with Cane?

Colin: Yeah, I am.

Jill: Tell him he needs to get home right away.

Colin: I think it might be best if my son has a moment to cool off here.

Jill: Lily is on the verge of forgiving him.

Colin: I don't think lily's ability to forgive is the impediment here.

Neil: What are you saying?

Hilary: Thank you for helping me pull this off. "Oh, Jack. Can you give this lost, lonely soul a second chance?" [Gasps] "Hilary, I think I'm falling in love with you." [Laughs] It was so perfect. And all I had to do was make you think I was falling in love with you, too. And you ate it up like a fat kid in a candy store.

Neil: Our whole life was a scam?

Hilary: I wouldn't say that. I would just -- just call it revenge. You know, you hurt me, and I figured out the best way to hurt you was to seduce your son into my bed. I just -- I can't get over how easy it was. Don't look so surprised. After what you did to my mother, I can never love you, Neil. And I certainly can never love Devon.

Jack: [Groaning] [Sighs] [Sighs]

Victor: Thank you for coming. Our plan is working like a charm. Jack suspects nothing.

Next on "The Young and the Restless"...

Billy: We were just talking about you.

Adam: Nothing too damning, I hope.
