Episode # 10605 ~ Devon & Hilary experience Neil's wrath; Chelsea talks to Billy about the future; Ashley talks to Victor about her stolen perfume.

Provided By Suzanne

Cane: You could read that bottle, couldn't you?

Neil: Yeah, Cane, that's right. You know how? 'Cause I can see. I can see everything.

Lily: Dad?

Neil: That's right, baby girl. My vision finally came back.

Lily: What? Oh, my god! [Laughs] I am so happy for you!

Hilary: That's wonderful.

Jill: Yes, it's fantastic news, but I thought you said that it was impossible.

Neil: I would have thought a lot of things were impossible, too. But then one day, I opened my eyes. And you know what? I started seeing some -- some shapes. And then the next day, I started seeing some shadows. Until finally... I saw the light. And what a sight it was. My lying son... in bed with my cheating wife.

[Laughter]

Fenmore: All right, how about this one? Never have I ever committed murder.

[Laughter]

Austin: That's it. Game's over.

Summer: Austin, where are you going?

[Door closes] Austin, it's freezing out there. Stop!

Noah: Summer.

[Door slams]

Noah: Okay, what was that about?

Fenmore: I just said I've never committed murder.

Kevin: The point is to drink if you've never done the "never have I ever" thing, yeah?

Noah: So, Austin left to avoid drinking?

Mariah: No, fen just probably hit a nerve.

Abby: Wait, do you think that maybe Austin has committed murder?

Chelsea: Billy. Hey. Gabriel, um, brought us over a bottle of wine, and, um, we -- we got to talking. He was upset.

Billy: What were you talking about?

Adam: Talking about Delia.

Sage: Whoa. This place is really filling up.

Nick: Yeah. Thanks again for helping, Sage. I could not have done this without you.

Sage: I don't mind at all. I'm happy to help. Two vodka martinis coming right up.

Nick: Hey!

Nikki: Hi, son.

Nick: Hi, Mom. Uh, what are you doing here? I thought you and dad had plans.

Nikki: Oh, your father and I are gonna celebrate our Valentine's Day later. This is an important night for your club.

Nick: And you thought I'd be in a funk over Sharon.

Nikki: Are you?

Nick: Actually doing a lot better these days. Oh, excuse me.

Nikki: Yeah. Go, go. Dylan.

Dylan: Hey.

Nikki: It's so nice to see you tonight. Where is your beautiful fiancée?

Dylan: Avery's on her way. She had some business that couldn't wait.

Avery: Christine is looking to have the trial put on the docket right away.

Jack: How long do we have?

Avery: A week, maybe less. And if Phyllis hadn't fired me, I could run interference.

Jack: She's her own worst enemy.

Avery: Well, we need to get that judge to issue a new psychiatric evaluation before the trial starts.

Jack: I've been thinking about this. Could we perhaps get someone to testify about this medication Phyllis has been given, the effect it has on her impulse control?

Avery: Jack, my plan is the only way.

Jack: It's not the only way.

Avery: It's the best plan we've got. We need to trigger an irrational response in Phyllis in a public place...

Jack: I'm not sure I can do this to Phyllis.

Avery: ...Where witnesses that know her see it, and they can testify -- Jack, they can testify that Phyllis is not the same person she was before the coma.

Jack: So I'm the one who has to push the woman I love over the edge?

Avery: You're the trigger, Jack.

Jack: Avery, I have already hurt her so much. You're asking me to hurt her again.

Avery: No, I'm not. I am asking you to help keep her out of prison. She needs us, Jack.

Jack: Clearly she's not in her right mind. Or she wouldn't put her fate in Victor's hands.

Phyllis: "I'm not giving up on you, red. Don't give up on us."

Victor: Jack is not giving up? He had you committed.

Phyllis: Makes me think of the last Valentine's Day Jack and I spent together. He planned this big, romantic evening at his place. Kept insisting we were just friends. I was lying to him about my feelings and to myself. Now I'm more confused than ever. Furious at Jack, but I still love him very, very much. You know, maybe I should give him a call.

Victor: Well, before you do that, just think about the fact that he betrayed you, you know. I have other plans for you.

Adam: I heard today's your daughter's birthday.

Billy: And that shook you up?

Adam: Yeah, you know, that coupled with everything that I'm dealing with. This must be a hard day for you.

Billy: Yeah, it is. And, um... I'm sorry for whatever it is you're dealing with.

Adam: That, uh, that Sage and I can't have kids. Yeah, no, it's -- it's disappointing, but mourning the loss of something you never had is not the same.

Billy: I know what my kids mean to me, including Connor, and, um, if I knew I had to miss out on that, I can imagine how hard that would be to face.

Chelsea: Gabriel, go find your wife. You and Sage should be together tonight.

Adam: Yeah. Yeah, that'll make everything better, right?

Chelsea: It'll help. This holiday is the perfect time to remember why you first fell in love.

Adam: I do remember.

Chelsea: I'll walk you out.

Adam: Thanks.

Chelsea: Bye.

Adam: Good night.

Chelsea: I feel awful.

Billy: Why? 'Cause the guy was crying on your shoulder?

Chelsea: His wife left him alone on Valentine's Day, and he was hurt. Who knew Gabriel Bingham was so sensitive?

Billy: I left you alone, too.

Chelsea: It's different. This day has special significance for you. If you don't want to talk about, we don't --

Billy: You know what? Actually, I...I do.

Chelsea: How was it, being at Delia's memorial site?

Billy: It was a, uh, it was a teaching moment.

Chelsea: What did you learn?

Billy: That I've got a choice to make. A choice that's going to affect our future.

Nikki: Now that the coffeehouse's issues have been settled, have you and Avery set a date?

Dylan: Well, I want to, but...

Nikki: Well, what's standing in the way?

Dylan: Avery's dealing her sister's legal problems.

Nikki: Ah. Phyllis. Of course. Honey, there's always gonna be somebody who needs your opinion on something or Avery.

Dylan: Yeah, it seems that way, but I can't ask Avery to ignore her sister's problems.

Nikki: We'll have to find a way around that. We don't want to let anything interfere with your happiness. All right, no, no, no, no. Let me handle this. Just relax. Mr. Clark.

Joe: Ms. Newman, how are you this evening?

Nikki: Much better, thank you. Aren't we?

Dylan: Definitely better.

Nikki: Yes, we were just talking about the, uh, wonderful outcome of the real-estate deal you were working on with my husband.

Joe: That deal's dead.

Dylan: That's what makes it wonderful.

Nikki: Yes, for us and our community, anyway.

Joe: Ah, just another transaction, as far as I'm concerned. I have other pursuits that I'm concentrating on now.

Nikki: Oh.

Joe: Have a wonderful evening.

Nikki: Thank you.

Joe: Why, you look spectacular.

Ashley: Thanks. How are you, Joe?

Joe: Extremely bewildered. You seem to be alone on Valentine's Day.

Ashley: Well, you seem to be alone, as well.

Joe: An invitation, perhaps. Because I certainly would enjoy the company of a ravishing blonde tonight.

Ashley: Thank you so much for the compliment, but I don't think I'm the ravishing blonde you're referring to.

Avery: You don't have to walk me in, Jack.

Jack: Ah, you're doing me a favor keeping me occupied. I wasn't exactly anxious to get home to an empty house.

Avery: Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. Jack, that opportunity we've been looking for -- I think it just presented itself.

Jack: [Sighs]

Lily: What are you talking about?

Neil: Why don't we talk about what was going on behind my back while I was in the dark and what I still wouldn't know if I hadn't seen with my own two eyes my wife and son together, naked in bed?

Hilary: [Sighs]

Jill: Is this true, Devon?

Hilary: Neil, can we -- can we just talk alone?

Neil: Oh, really? You want some alone time now? You want alone time so you can lie to my face again?

Hilary: I tried to tell you the truth, okay? I tried so many times!

Lily: [Sobs] Is this true?

Devon: Yeah, it is.

Lily: How could you?! You are disgusting! How could you?! Oh, my -- [Sobbing]

Devon: We didn't intend to have this happen, and I never meant to hurt any of you, okay?

Jill: Oh, I know how it happened. How it happened was she was lying in wait. You were ready, willing, and eager to play "bang the billionaire," weren't you?

Devon: Jill, that's enough.

Jill: I'll tell you when it's enough! I expected this from her! She's sneaky and she's devious, but you are Katherine's grandson! And you're sleeping with your father's wife?!

Devon: We're in love with each other, Jill.

Lily: Really? In love? Really? Is that what you told him?

Hilary: That's how I feel!

Devon: It's how we both feel. We want to be together.

Neil: No. That's not happening.

Devon: Dad, I'm sorry.

Neil: You ain't sorry. You made a fool out of me, son.

Devon: Nobody was trying to make a fool out of you or hurt you.

Neil: Really? You weren't trying to hurt me?

Devon: No.

Neil: No? While I was walking around with a Cane, learning Braille, living my life in a black hole, you're stripping down my wife, you're taking her to bed? And you didn't want to hurt me? How long has this been going on?

Hilary: [Sniffles]

Neil: How long?!

Hilary: Awhile.

Neil: What are we talking about here? What -- what? Are you talking about weeks, months, uh, before -- before I lost my sight?

Devon: Why does it matter?

Neil: Yes, it matters. What matters is that I gave this woman right here every chance, every chance to walk away from our marriage! Hilary, didn't I? Didn't I?!

Devon: You don't have to yell at her, all right?

Hilary: No, it's okay. It's okay. You did tell me more than once.

Neil: Yeah, I did tell you. And why didn't you just go? Why did you stay? You know what you did by staying? You humiliated me!

Hilary: You needed me, okay? You just lost your sight.

Neil: No, no, no! What I needed was a real wife, someone to share my hopes and dreams with, someone to share my life with, my bed with!

Hilary: Okay, listen, okay? We can talk about this. Let's just -- let's just step away.

Neil: You want me to step away? Yeah, of course you do, because this, all of this is starting to make sense to me -- the excuses, right, all the tears?

Hilary: It was killing me that you needed me and I-I couldn't --

Neil: You couldn't love me? You couldn't -- couldn't make love to me? Because you were making love to my son!

Devon: Neil.

Neil: My son behind my back!

Devon: Stop it, please.

Neil: Oh. Oh, my -- oh. Oh, my god. New York. That hotel room. The phone. That was Devon's ringtone. That was his phone. He was right there all along. He was sleeping with you hours before I slept with you!

Lily: You little bitch!

Cane: Hey, hey, hey! Stop it! Stop it! Stop it!

Lily: No! I knew she would do this to our family!

Cane: Everybody just calm down!

Lily: You married my father, really?! Then you seduced my brother?!

Devon: No, it wasn't like that, lily!

Cane: Calm down!

Lily: How can we?! They have been lying to us for months! I can't believe you!

Neil: None of this is news, uh, to Cane.

Lily: What's he talking about?

Neil: He knew about this affair. Didn't you, Cane?

Cane: Yeah, I did, lily.

Lily: [Sighs] What?

Austin: I'm sorry I stormed out before. When the subject of murder came up, it just makes me think about my mom and how she died.

Noah: Hey, Austin, I'm sorry. We weren't thinking.

Abby: Yeah, for a second, I thought we were all partying with a murderer.

Mariah: But we are not, so why don't we continue the game? Who's next?

Kevin: All right.

Summer: Um, you know what, guys? I'm pretty gamed out. I think we're gonna head back to Genoa city.

Courtney: Oh, no way. Nobody's leaving.

Noah: Hello, baby.

Courtney: Hi.

Austin: Uh, hey, what's going on?

Courtney: There's a huge storm out there, and they said for everyone in the area to stay put.

Abby: Aren't we all just having so much fun? I refilled my special Valentine's Day punch. Everyone has to try at least one glass.

Mariah: Yay. I'm so excited.

Abby: Um, Mariah, can you help me get some glasses for the punch bowl?

Mariah: Oh, is that why I was invited to the party? So I could work it?

Kevin: Ahem.

Mariah: Ugh! Being polite is boring!

Abby: Thank you.

Victor: I'll have a double tequila, please. Thank you.

Nikki: You brought Phyllis here as your date?

Victor: What are you talking about?

Nikki: Victor, it's Valentine's Day. You arrive at our son's bar with that woman on your arm?

Victor: She was lonely. You and I went down here to see our son, so I thought I'd bring her along, get her out of the house.

Nikki: Well, I agree. She should get out.

Victor: Could you show some compassion?

Nikki: Oh, like you claim you're doing. You keep insisting that you're not doing this to hurt Jack.

Victor: This has nothing to do with Jack Abbott.

Nikki: You know what? Even if there were the tiniest amount of truth to that, I'm sure there's some other self-serving reason why you're doing it, and no good will come of it.

Victor: You couldn't be more wrong.

Nikki: I doubt that. I really can't take it anymore, Victor. I really can't. [Sighs]

Joe: Happy Valentine's Day. You look beautiful.

Avery: Thanks. Hey.

Dylan: Hey.

Avery: Mmm.

Dylan: Wow. Hello to you, too.

Avery: Hi.

Dylan: What's, uh, what's your sister doing with Victor?

Avery: More importantly, what is Victor doing with my sister?

Jack: I'd like to have a word alone with my fiancée.

Victor: Would you now? All right. As you wish.

Phyllis: Thank you for the flowers. They were extraordinary.

Jack: You liked those?

Phyllis: Yeah. But I am not ready --

Jack: To come home? If you're not ready to come home, I just wish you'd stay somewhere else.

Phyllis: Look, we've been over this.

Jack: You could stay with Summer, you could stay with Michael and Lauren. Anywhere but Victor's.

Phyllis: He is helping me.

Jack: I know he dug up a doctor and a miracle cure for you. He did that for his own benefit.

Phyllis: He's giving me a place to stay.

Jack: Yes, I'm sure he has some nefarious plan there, too.

Phyllis: You don't think I know Victor's using me? That's all right. I'm using him, too.

Phyllis: I am well aware of who Victor is, and he is not going to take advantage of me. I promise. But he does have the means and the power to help me.

Jack: In what way?

Phyllis: Legally. By helping me set up a defense that doesn't require being locked in a mental institution.

Jack: Trusting him even for that is dangerous.

Phyllis: You don't think I know that? I don't fully trust Victor. If I did, I'd be -- what's the word? [Sing-song voice] Crazy.

Ashley: Hi there. Guess I owe you congratulations. You win.

Victor: Win what?

Ashley: Pulling my product line, Victor. You won't have hex as competition anymore.

Victor: Really? I'll be damned. What are you up to?

Ashley: Just trying to look at the big picture, Victor.

Victor: Hmm.

Ashley: Sometimes it's better to back out of a fight before your causalities get too great.

Sage: [Sighs] Excuse me. Hi. Can I bring you a drink from the bar?

Nikki: Oh, uh, yes, I would like a dry --

Nick: Mom, did you, uh, meet Sage?

Nikki: Sage?

Nick: Yes, this is the woman who rescued me from that bear trap.

Sage: [Chuckles]

Nikki: Oh! Oh! Thank you so much.

Sage: Hi. I'm Sage.

Nikki: Oh, it's just very nice to meet you. I'm so grateful. Thank you.

Sage: It was nothing. Better get back to work or else my boss will be on my case.

Nick: Uh, yeah. Get back to work.

Sage: [Laughs] Uh, what did you say you wanted? Dry...?

Nikki: Uh, uh, cloth. Dry cloth. I-I spilled on my blouse.

Sage: Oh, yes, of course. I'll be right back.

Nikki: Thank you. So, um, how did your rescuer come to be your employee?

Nick: You know what, mom? I'm sorry. An old friend just walked in. Excuse me.

Nikki: Oh, that's fine, honey. Go, go, go.

Nick: I assume you are looking for Sage.

Adam: Hey. Yeah. Yeah, something told me she'd be here.

Nick: Well, you guessed right.

Adam: So, you two have gotten pretty close.

Nick: Look, Gabriel, I think it's time for the charade to end.

Billy: I've got to accept that Adam is gone. There's not gonna be any satisfaction.

Chelsea: [Sighs] Well, that's been very hard for you.

Billy: No, you know what? It hasn't. It's been impossible. I've told you over and over that Adam is not a factor in our relationship, but that's a lie, Chelsea. It's a lie, and it's gonna keep on being a lie as long as I hold on to this hatred that I have for him because he's freakin' here! I mean, he's in this apartment! He's in you, he's in Connor!

Chelsea: You said you had a choice to make. So... what have you chosen?

Fenmore: Well, being stuck here will give me a chance to get to know your husband better.

Summer: Yeah. Me, too.

Fenmore: What'd you just say?

Summer: No. No, I-I mean, of course I know what a great, smart person Austin is.

Fenmore: Yeah, you haven't even known him a yr. There's got to be a lot you don't know about the guy.

Summer: Okay, well, that's the whole purpose of marriage, fen. You spend the rest of your life finding out new things.

Kevin: Hey, so, during that game earlier...

Mariah: Here we go.

Kevin: When you said "never have I ever had a crush on a best friend."

Mariah: You drank then, too. I was talking about a crush in kindergarten.

Kevin: Mine was in second grade.

Noah: I can think of worst places to be stuck for the night.

Courtney: I'm just glad I made it out of the storm.

Noah: You're not the only one. Come here. Ooh, ooh, hey. You okay?

Courtney: Uh...

Noah: Was that me?

Courtney: Yeah, probably you and just a long day and a long drive.

Noah: Well, uh, I guess why don't we try that again sitting down?

Courtney: Okay. [Chuckles]

Lily: You knew Devon was having an affair with Hilary?

Cane: He swore to me it was over a long time ago.

Lily: So you knew a long time ago but you didn't tell me?

Cane: I didn't tell you 'cause I knew it would crush you. And he begged me to keep it between us.

Lily: I am your wife, Cane!

Jill: My god. How could you keep a secret like that?! And you two, you're just disgusting! It looks like we're the only innocent ones here.

Neil: Jill, you're obviously as blind as I've been. You know, your husband is anything but innocent.

Colin: Jill, sweetheart, look --

Neil: Hey, Colin. That sudden windfall of cash, Colin?

Jill: Oh, my god. You were blackmailing Devon!

Colin: It's not like he missed the money, you know? An opportunity presented itself.

Jill: An opportunity to pull the wool over my eyes again!

Colin: No, that wasn't what it was. You needed money for the company!

Jill: I need a husband I can trust!

Colin: Listen, let me explain.

[Indistinct arguments]

Cane: He begged me not to say anything.

Hilary: Neil, I just -- I want you to know how sorry I am, okay? You were nothing but a good, decent man to me, and...

Neil: I was a good man. I was the good man who took Devon in. I raised him. I loved him as my own. I was the good man that gave you a chance when nobody else in this town would. They all wanted to chase you away. That good man is gone. He's dead. You and my son killed him.

Lily: Dad, please don't.

Neil: It's too late, baby girl. Way too late. m

Billy: I can't forget what Adam did, and I can't forgive him for taking Delia from me.

Chelsea: Can you forgive me for loving him, for marrying him?

Billy: Forgive you? You didn't do anything.

Chelsea: I gave birth to Adam's son. Connor is his son.

Billy: Chelsea --

Chelsea: I wish I could go back and change what happened to Delia, Billy, but I can't. If we're a burden to you, if you're somehow miserable here with us, then --

Billy: I chose that. I'm the one who's been carting around all this resentment and anger. I'm done, all right? I am ditching it. I'm choosing to embrace what makes me happy. And you make me happy. Step one.

Chelsea: [Sighs] Well... so, what now?

Billy: Now... now we do happy.

Chelsea: [Chuckles] Wh--

Billy: Happy Valentine's Day, Chelsea.

Chelsea: When did you find the time --

Billy: On the way home. Delia reminded me that it's okay for me to be happy on this day.

Chelsea: Well, that sounds good, but --

Billy: But can I follow through? Well, that's the plan. [Sighs] Let go of all this darkness and let in the light. You are that light. I can be happy, and I can love again. And I think that is the best way that I can honor my daughter's memory.

Adam: I'm assuming Sage told you about our marriage of convenience.

Nick: Yeah. She did.

Adam: Yeah. Uh, listen, it's not really something that I'm comfortable --

Nick: Talking about?

Adam: Yeah.

Nick: Me either.

Adam: Let's get a drink, then. How about that?

Nick: Well, here's the thing. If you both seem so unhappy, you know, the reason you got married --

Adam: The money?

Nick: Is it worth it?

Sage: Gabriel. I didn't expect you here.

Adam: Yeah. Uh, well, you know, my plans fell through, and, uh, tell you what. I was just sitting here talking to my good buddy nick. He was giving me some marital advice.

Dylan: You all right?

Nikki: Oh, yeah. I'm just clumsy. Um... I shouldn't have worn these high shoes -- how it happens. I'm worried about you, though.

Dylan: Don't be.

Nikki: I saw your reaction earlier with that Joe Clark. I mean, does it really bother you that much that he used to be married to Avery?

Dylan: [Sighs] I know I need to get over it. And I know Avery loves me.

Nikki: She really does.

Dylan: Yeah, but every time I see that guy, something happens to me. I just want to punch him in the face every time. It's like an addiction.

Nikki: Well, maybe you inherited that.

Dylan: Uh, sorry. Bad choice of words. I know you struggled with alcohol. That must have been tough.

Nikki: Still do. Well, the "one day at a time" thing and all that, you know.

Dylan: Well, I'm gonna use you as my role model. You managed to control your impulses. So can I.

Ashley: We're gonna do it, Jack. We're gonna beat Victor to the stores with our fragrance.

Jack: How?

Ashley: Uh, I just told him that we're pulling our product line.

Jack: But we're not.

Ashley: Of course we're not. But he's gonna think that he has all this extra time to perfect his product. Meanwhile, we're gonna be working our asses off to make sure we get ours to the stores first.

Jack: Okay, I think this is an excellent idea. Do not underestimate Victor.

Ashley: I know.

Avery: Jack. I never expected Phyllis to show up here.

Jack: Yeah, that makes two of us. Look, as far as provoking her into an irrational outburst, I think it's gonna be harder than we thought. I just had a very lucid, very clear conversation with her about the mustache.

Avery: But, Jack, we both know she's not herself right now.

Jack: I just have to find a way to prove it to Phyllis and the rest of the world.

Joe: That dress reminds me of what you wore on our first Valentine's Day together.

Avery: Okay, Joe, I don't want to take a stroll down memory lane right now.

Joe: Well, all right. Since my strolls down memory lane have yet to convince you that I've changed, I'll try something different.

Avery: What?

Joe: A do-over. To prove to you that I'm a new man, I'll be a new man.

Avery: Joe, we can't start over.

Joe: Yeah, I know. I just regret that we won't get to know each other better.

Avery: Okay.

Joe: Avery. I have a valentine's gift for you.

Avery: I don't want it.

Joe: I'm sure you will.

Lily: Dad, please don't do this. Drinking isn't gonna accomplish anything.

Neil: Oh, it already has. It's dulled the pain.

Jill: You fell off the wagon before tonight, didn't you, Neil?

Neil: Why, yes, I did. With good reason.

Lily: Look at what you've done. How can you live with yourself?

Neil: Lily, don't worry. Don't -- they'll get punished. They will.

Cane: What -- what does that mean?

Neil: Did you really think that you could betray me with no repercussions here? That you would be able to ride off into the sunset and find happiness?

Devon: Dad, you have every right to be angry.

Neil: And you, my son, have no right to happiness. You see, you and you, you blew up my world! So now... now you're gonna pay for it.

Hilary: Neil, can --

Neil: No, you both are dead. You're dead to me.

Colin: Neil, what do you mean by that? I mean, come on. You knew what they were up to. Yet you wanted to come anyway. Is that to get us all into a nice, little confined space? What's in the briefcase, Neil?

Nick: All right, what is this arrangement you have with my dad?

Phyllis: You know, I'm really getting tired of people warning me about your father.

Nick: Well, why don't you start heeding the warnings, and then everyone will shut up?

Phyllis: Look, I am doing what I can to defend myself against criminal charges, nick. And your father's helping me.

Nick: And Jack loves you.

Phyllis: Sometimes the people you love the most can hurt you the worst.

Jack: Am I interrupting?

Nick: Approach at your own risk.

Phyllis: Look, Jack --

Jack: I'm just here to say good night.

Phyllis: You're heading home already?

Jack: Not yet.

Phyllis: Well, you're certainly not going to work at this hour.

Jack: I'm meeting someone.

Phyllis: Someone?

Jack: Yeah, doesn't matter who.

Phyllis: It's Kelly, isn't it? Wow. Wow. Really? Okay, I think I was in a coma for just a few months before you started taking up with that slut.

Jack: Okay, hold on.

Phyllis: I have only been away for just a few days, Jack. So why don't you tell me what you're doing? What are you doing?! Why are you sending me flowers during the day and spending your nights with her?!

Jack: I am not seeing Kelly, but your overreaction, your irrational response to just thinking I was only proves what I've been saying. You are not yourself.

Phyllis: You set me up. [Sighs]

Kevin: Hey. Hey, what happened? What happened?

Noah: I don't -- I don't know. I...I started to feel a little tired, like -- like Courtney, and then I just had to close my eyes for a second.

Kevin: Mariah. Mariah. Hey.

Courtney: What happened?

Noah: Uh, we're trying to figure that out.

Mariah: I went to sleep?

Kevin: I think we all did.

Abby: We -- we couldn't have all been that tired.

Mariah: I don't feel hung over.

Courtney: Yeah, me either.

Fenmore: Summer. Summer, you okay?

Summer: Mnh. I'm sleepy. Just one more minute.

Mariah: God, that punch was lethal. It knocked us out.

Noah: Maybe not all of us. Where's Austin?

Colin: Again, let's open the briefcase, Neil.

Neil: Shut up, Colin. I'm asking the questions right now, okay? You found out that my son was having an affair with my wife, so you blackmailed him. Is that what you did? That's what you did.

Colin: Whatever's in this briefcase is not good for all of us.

Cane: Dad, Dad, will you please just stay out of this?

Lily: This is ridiculous. He wouldn't hurt us.

Jill: Neil would never put innocent lives at risk.

Neil: Oh, innocent? [Chuckles] Really? Who's innocent here?

Colin: Come on. This guy's pushed to the brink. No one knows how he's gonna react.

Hilary: Okay, no, Neil would never do what you're implying. I know him.

Neil: Like I knew you? Huh?

Colin: Come on. Just open the case.

Cane: Neil, just open the damn case so we can see what's inside. Everybody can calm down.

Lily: He wouldn't -- he wouldn't hurt us. He wouldn't do that to me or his grandchildren. Dad, show them, please. Just tell them. Tell them!

Neil: Lily, I'm sorry.

Lily: For what?

Neil: I'm sorry that you're the innocent one in all this. I-I don't mean to scare you. I really am sorry.

Lily: Dad, what's in the briefcase?

Neil: You really want me to open this? You want to know what's in here?

Colin: Yeah.

Neil: Our lives are in here.

Devon: What is -- what is our lives?

Neil: Get away! Cheater! This is my briefcase.

Devon: Well, tell us what's inside, please.

Neil: You want to know what's in this case?! I'll show you.

[Rumbling]

Jill: It's all right! It's all right! It's just --

Chelsea: Oh, it's beautiful. Billy, I love it. [Gasps] Oh, I have a gift for you, too. We're gonna have to wait a little while to plant it, but... do you know what it is?

Billy: Yeah. It's a tea rose bush. It was...Delia's favorite flower.

Chelsea: Yeah, we can plant it at the memorial site or, um, in the garden at your family's house. Whatever you want.

Billy: We will find just the right place for it. Thank you, Chelsea. I love it.

Chelsea: Well, this day turned out a lot better than I expected.

Billy: [Chuckles] Yeah. For me, too. It's just like you were saying to Gabriel. It's the perfect day to remember why you fell in love.

Chelsea: Why did you?

Billy: Well, there's so many reasons. I mean, where do I begin?

Chelsea: How about back where you started? Right here. [Chuckles]

Billy: Okay.

Chelsea: Okay. [Laughs]

Sage: Rough night?

Adam: That obvious?

Sage: You're mooning over Chelsea.

Adam: Well, I love her, Sage. Not being able to be with her is driving me -- you know what? I need to make a big move here. Let's get the hell out of here, all right?

Nick: Hey, Sage, table 12 with the umbrella drinks. They look thirsty.

Sage: Okay. Uh, I'm gonna stick around.

Adam: Yeah.

Joe: My gift isn't wrapped, but I think you'll like it anyway.

Avery: Okay, Joe, you shouldn't have.

Joe: Avery, I'm leaving town.

Jack: You need the kind of help I am offering, not what Victor is promising.

Phyllis: You see, I don't see being locked up as help. And I cannot even believe that you would set me up to see me snap. Why would you call that love?!

Jack: I love you. Listen to me.

Phyllis: I don't want to listen to you. You know why? Because you feed me lies and you try to irritate me to the point that I am looking like I'm crazy!

Jack: Listen to me. You will never get better if you continue to ignore what this medication is doing to you.

Phyllis: Jack, just leave me alone. I am not crazy! You hear me? I am the sanest person in this room!

Nikki: Hey. Hey. Don't make this worse.

Victor: Don't you worry about me.

Fenmore: Here. Don't push yourself, Summer. Just sleep it off.

Kevin: The snow is really coming down now, you guys. If he did go outside, he didn't get very far.

Abby: He'll come back like he did earlier.

Kevin: Well, I hope so. I'm really starting to get worried about the guy. [Gasps]

Colin: Okay, we're in the storm, zero visibility!

Cane: All right, everybody buckle up! Stay in your seats! I'm gonna check --

Jill: We're gonna be fine!

[Thunder crashing]
