Episode # 10563 ~ An unexpected event brings out the Christmas spirit in Genoa City.
Provided By Suzanne
Victor: Isn't that something, huh? Merry Christmas. Do you like it?
Faith: It's beautiful.
Victor: Okay, my sweetheart. Okay, okay.
Faith: Is she magic?
Victor: Oh, yeah. I think she's magic.
Nikki: She is if you want her to be.
Victor: You see?
Nikki: Here you go, honey.
Nick: Thanks, mom. I should, uh -- I should be leaving soon.
Nikki: Why? Where are you going?
Nick: Well, Faith isn't happy with me right now. She'll have a lot more fun with you and dad if I'm not here.
Nikki: All right. Well, we'll bring her home a little later.
Nikki: Well, change of plans on that. I thought Faith would want to be with her mom tonight.
Nikki: What does that mean? Sharon's picking her up?
Nick: Yeah. So it's just another reason why I shouldn't be here.
Faith: I think I'm gonna name my angel Katherine.
Victor: Oh, you mean after Katherine chancellor.
Faith: I wish I had something this pretty to give to you and grandma.
Victor: Oh, sweetheart.
Nikki: Well, we're all together.
Victor: Yes.
Nikki: That's gift enough.
Victor: Okay?
Victoria: Oh, my goodness. Today has been the perfect day. Yes, it has. I video chatted with my big boy reed. I opened presents with my little baby boy Johnny. And I have my miracle baby in my arms. And I've got you under my tree.
Stitch: [Chuckles] Yeah. I'm feeling pretty blessed myself.
Victoria: Good.
Stitch: Actually, I used to look forward to doing this with max.
Victoria: We're not gonna tell Ben our surprise, are we? No, we're gonna keep it a secret.
Billy: You know, I was always in to Christmas, but it is so much better seeing it through a kid's eyes, especially Connor's.
Chelsea: Yeah. Delia's gift to Connor is so much more than a present you open on Christmas morning and then forget about. It's forever.
Billy: How did a year that started with so much sadness get filled with miracles?
Chelsea: You mean Katie?
Billy: And us.
Chelsea: [Smooches]
Dylan: All right. I don't care who stops by. We are closed today.
Avery: Yes. Well, the "closed" sign in the window kind of says that.
Dylan: [Chuckles] Yeah.
Avery: [Laughs]
Dylan: Not that last Christmas wasn't pretty special.
Avery: Oh, it was, wasn't it? All those people we let in and fed, people that had no other place to go.
Dylan: This year is gonna be just as memorable.
Avery: How is that possible?
Dylan: Well, because it's just gonna be me and my fiancée.
Avery: I love the sound of that.
Dylan: And I know it probably would have been, uh, easier and nicer to have Christmas dinner at your place.
Avery: I know why you wanted to be here. You're afraid this time next year, there may not be a crimson lights.
Devon: Hey.
Hilary: Why here?
Devon: There was no bed, like I promised.
Hilary: Just the spirit of your grandmother looming over us.
Devon: Well, that's the other reason. I think that Katherine would approve.
Hilary: I'm married to your father. She would have never approved.
Devon: My grandmother would approve of how much I love you.
Hilary: It's, um -- it's colder than I thought it would be.
Devon: Hilary, look at me.
Hilary: I can't. It could be months before we can tell Neil the truth, and... I want to touch you. I can't.
Devon: Here. Have one.
Jack: So, what are you thinking?
Phyllis: That when you spend a year unconscious, Christmas gets here really, really fast.
Jack: [Chuckles] Sounds so inconvenient.
Phyllis: Well, I just could hardly believe it's here, that I'm here...alone with you.
Jack: Oh, well, then let me help you believe it.
[Door opens]
Summer: Merry Christmas!
Austin: Merry Christmas!
Summer: Hi!
Jack: [Sighs]
Avery: Champagne?
Dylan: Just trying to impress my girl.
Avery: Oh! [Chuckles] And dancing, too?
Dylan: I just want to make the most of every minute we have in this place.
Avery: I like that. Let's make plans.
Dylan: For the wedding?
Avery: No, for next December 25th. Let's plan on celebrating right here -- Christmas at crimson lights. To our plan.
Dylan: To our plan. You know, it's, uh -- it's just crazy. This place means so much to me. I remember coming the first time, and Kevin and Chloe were running it.
Avery: Mm-hmm. No regrets on buying it?
Dylan: The good easily outweighs the bad. And I used a lot of the money my dad left me, so in a way, it's, uh, kind of like a gift from him.
Avery: I never thought about it that way. That's very sweet.
Dylan: And this is where I first got to know Nikki. Uh, Paul and I hashed a few things out in this room.
Avery: Uh-huh. It's the place we had our first kiss after Nick and I broke up.
Dylan: I remember that.
Avery: Yeah.
Dylan: [Sighs]
Avery: This place feels like home, doesn't it?
Dylan: Maybe that's because wherever you are, I'm home.
[Door opens]
Dylan: We're closed.
Avery: Closed!
Paul: Police!
Avery: [Laughs]
Dylan: Come on.
Avery: Oh, I guess we can make one exception.
Paul: Merry Christmas, Avery. And merry Christmas, son.
Faith: Grandpa, can you show me how to trap the ball?
Victor: I certainly can.
Nick: Well, my little girl needs all the family she can get right now, but I really shouldn't be here when Sharon shows up.
Nikki: I just hate the idea of you being alone on Christmas.
Nick: It's just for a few more hours. I'm gonna be fine. Hey, dad. I wanted to show you what Faith got me...
Victor: Oh!
Nick: ...As a gift.
Nikki: Oh, is that you?
Nick: Yeah. She drew me as a cowboy.
Victor: You did?
Faith: It's just an art project for school. No big deal.
Nick: Well, you drew it with your own hands, and that makes it a very big deal to me.
Victor: It does indeed. That's a big deal. That's a beautiful picture. You're very talented.
Faith: Can we play some more, grandpa?
Victor: Yes, we can.
Nikki: Wait a minute. In the house?
Victor: You bet in the house. Once a year, we can do that. Let's go, darling. There we go. Thank you.
Nick: All right. Merry Christmas, mom.
Victor: Oh, look at that!
Nikki: Oh, my son. You try to enjoy it, okay?
Nick: I'll be all right. Hey, dad.
Victor: Goodbye, son. Merry Christmas.
Nick: Merry Christmas to you. Bye, Faith.
Phyllis: Well, what are you doing here?
Summer: Delivering gifts, of course.
Phyllis:, Oh, just because we brought your gifts last night, that doesn't --
Jack: And you didn't have to include me.
Austin: Well, we already had everything picked out. There's just one thing that wasn't quite ready yet.
Phyllis: Getting to enjoy this Christmas with you and Jack -- that is the best gift of all, okay?
Jack: So, do you have it?
Austin: Right here.
Jack: Thank you. I can't thank you enough.
Austin: Well, hopefully, I get a gift from it, too -- you know, my mother-in-law's acceptance.
Phyllis: Hey! What are you two whispering about over there?
Jack: We're talking about you and your gift, and it's from all of us.
Summer: Yes, especially my brilliant husband, who made it happen.
Phyllis: Oh, yeah? What is it?
Austin: It's this.
Phyllis: [Chuckles] What is it? Like a movie?
Jack: Sit. Watch.
Phyllis: Okay.
Summer: Hi, Mom. Merry Christmas. We know that you missed a lot in this past year, so now's your time to catch up, not just on world events, but on really important things that happened right here in Genoa City, like my wedding and Katherine's memorial service, and a bunch of other little things that were huge. So, sit back, relax, and catch up on what you missed while you were sleeping. [Smooches] Love you.
Billy: You know, Chels, we'll be able to afford new wrapping paper and ribbon again next year.
Chelsea: Oh, I know. But I feel like if I use this wrapping paper, it'll remind me of this Christmas -- our first Christmas spent with you.
Billy: Well, in that case.
Chelsea: Oh. I find I get very sentimental around the holidays. Probably because I never had a traditional Christmas when I was growing up. But now I find that I cherish it more and more every year.
Billy: Does that include me? Am I cherished?
Chelsea: Yes. Even you, Billy Abbott. But your Christmas is not yet complete.
Billy: I have everything I need right here.
Chelsea: Well, not quite. I mean, you should go visit Katie and Johnny before it gets too late.
Billy: Yeah, that is a good idea. Thank you for being okay with all of this.
Chelsea: Of course. I'll meet you back here?
Billy: Yeah, sure. But, um...meet back here? Are you going somewhere?
Chelsea: Um, well, we really have to make a Christmas visit ourselves.
Billy: I understand.
Chelsea: Yeah.
Billy: Yeah. You be good for your mom, okay, buddy?
Chelsea: Bye.
Billy: Bye.
Chelsea: You know how Mommy's always saying you should share? It's not so easy, is it? [Sighs]
Victoria: Wow. Look at that.
Stitch: Yeah.
Victoria: He loves it.
Stitch: It might have been easier to assemble an actual railroad. [Chuckles]
Victoria: Sorry.
Stitch: That's all right. Hey, look at this. I think Santa left something else under here.
Victoria: What? It's for me?
Stitch: Yeah. Just a little something I picked up.
Victoria: I can't even -- oh. Oh, my gosh. It's beautiful. Oh, it's a locket!
Stitch: Yeah, except this one's got three compartments.
Victoria: Oh, yeah.
Stitch: Yeah.
Victoria: For all my children. Katie, Johnny, and reed.
Stitch: Yeah.
Victoria: It's beautiful. I can't wait to wear it.
Stitch: Here, here. Let me give you a hand.
Victoria: Oh, thank you. Okay. Thank you. Aww. I think Santa might have had a little help from you on this one, huh?
Stitch: Uh, just a little. And from Johnny.
[Cell phone rings]
Victoria: Oh, your phone.
Stitch: Oh. Uh, that's all right. I'll let it go to voicemail.
Victoria: No, no, no. You should get that.
Stitch: Uh, why? What's going on?
Victoria: You should get it.
Stitch: All right. Hello? I-I'm sorry, I-I can barely hear you. Who is this? Max, is -- is that you? It's my son. It's my son.
Devon: So, where do they think you are?
Hilary: Um, out for a walk to see the tree. And you're supposed to be...?
Devon: I'm supposed to be with Gwen.
Hilary: Yeah.
Devon: I hate using her, but I had to figure out a way to see you.
Hilary: I should get back home to Neil and the rest of the family.
Devon: Hang on a second. Hang on. Listen. Hilary, I get that things have changed now that we know Neil's been tempted to drink.
Hilary: We can't be together, not until we can truly be together.
Devon: I understand that. Here. Have another one.
Hilary: I don't care about the stupid chestnuts, Devon.
Devon: Hilary, please.
Hilary: [Sighs] [Snaps]
Summer: Mom, what's wrong?
Phyllis: Sweetheart, you were right. The biggest world events were less important than what happened right here. Hearing that Adam died, seeing the aftermath...
Jack: Yeah, it's a lot to take in.
Phyllis: Yes, it is. Excuse me.
Austin: Let's get out of here.
Summer: And go where?
Austin: Finish the rest of our Christmas.
Summer: I knew you had another gift for me.
Austin: Yeah, don't pretend like that you didn't.
Summer: Okay, I couldn't help myself. When we had our pretend Christmas, I thought you might be going to prison. So for real Christmas, I had to get you a real gift.
Austin: Yeah, me, too.
Summer: What did you get me?
Austin: You'll find out when we get home.
Summer: What?
Austin: Being married to you is the best thing that's ever happened to me.
Phyllis: I'm sorry, kids. That video got to me.
Austin: Oh, it's okay. Uh, actually, we were just taking off.
Summer: Yeah. I love you. Merry Christmas.
Phyllis: I love you. Merry Christmas. And to you, too.
Summer: His name is Austin.
Phyllis: I know.
Austin: [Chuckles] Right. Merry Christmas, you guys.
Jack: Merry Christmas. It's a lot to take in. You sure you don't want to wait?
Phyllis: No. This is the information I have been craving.
Nick: To the cowboy. Faith must have drawn this when she thought I was still one of the good guys.
Nikki: Oh, I don't know. I think you're still one of the good guys.
Nick: Hey. What are you doing here?
Nikki: In the neighborhood.
Nick: Well, enter at your own risk.
Nikki: Now, why do you say that?
Nick: Well, Faith isn't around, so I don't have to pretend to be all jolly. I'm about as much fun as the Grinch.
Nikki: Well, don't worry. You don't have to fake any "ho, ho, ho's" for me, either. I know what you're going through. That's why they call it the Christmas blues.
Nick: Well, what about you? It's been a pretty rough year for you, too.
Nikki: We're talking about you.
Nick: Yeah, well, it's just the two of us, mom, so... is there something you want to tell me?
Victor: What a wonderful surprise. Please come in.
Chelsea: Your grandson has been asking for you, right?
Victor: That's a coincidence, because I've been wanting to see him. Oh, perfect.
Faith: Connor!
Victor: Look who's here.
Chelsea: Hi, Faith.
Victor: Look who's here.
Faith: Hi.
Chelsea: Look who's here, buddy.
Faith: Can I help Connor find his present under the tree?
Chelsea: I think he would love that, huh? [Gasps] Look at all these presents. Look. Oh, is it back there?
Faith: Hi, Connor. Hi!
Chelsea: Sorry. I know I should have brought him sooner. Life has just been a little crazy lately.
Victor: I can imagine. Spending all your time with --
Chelsea: You know, Billy is always gonna be the father to your granddaughter.
Victor: Uh, meaning what?
Chelsea: Look at it this way. The more time Billy spends with me, the less time he'll spend with Victoria. So, really, by being with Billy, I'm actually giving you a Christmas gift.
Victor: Well, you know, you are.
Chelsea: [Laughs]
Victor: You're making sense.
Stitch: Yeah, that Santa's a smart guy. Hey, wait. Why are you so awake? The sun isn't even up there yet. She did? Your -- your mom gave you the stuff I sent? Well, that's great. Yeah. You get to celebrate Christmas a day early since you're in Australia. So, which one did you like best? The boogie board? [Chuckles] Oh, man. How about -- sure. Okay. Okay. [Chuckles] Well, we can catch up later on video chat. All right. Just make sure you send me some shots of you on that board, all right? I love you, son. Let me talk to your mom. Jenna, hey. Um... thank you so much. I didn't expect to -- no. I-I didn't know. Thanks again. Bye. You did this?
Victoria: I don't know. I mean, I-I just gave Jenna a call.
Stitch: What did you tell her?
Victoria: I told her that you were covering for your mother and that...you didn't kill anybody and that you were working really hard to get your medical license back and that...
Stitch: And?
Victoria: ...You shouldn't be kept away from your son.
Stitch: Victoria, this -- this is the best possible gift you could have given me.
Victoria: Well...
[Doorbell rings]
Victoria: Here. Take her. Okay?
Stitch: Hey, little one. You know, one of these days, my little boy's gonna come visit, and then we can all be part of one big family, right?
Jack: You're never gonna miss anything again. Turn around. I'm starting a new family video album.
Phyllis: [Laughs]
Jack: Everything starts new for us. Right now.
Phyllis: Jack --
Jack: Oh.
Phyllis: What -- what's going on?
Johnny: Daddy!
Billy: Merry Christmas, buddy. Look at what Santa left for you at my place. I'm sorry I'm late.
Victoria: No. I mean, look at how perfectly you timed it. He's so excited.
Billy: Do you know who's autograph that is? That is Aaron Rodgers.
Johnny: Daddy, my ball!
Billy: Yeah, it's a ball. This is your favorite quarterback. Just trust me on that one. He is. And you know what? When it's not so icy outside, we'll go through some passes, okay?
Johnny: Yeah.
Billy: Have a look at this train, huh? Smart job putting this together on your own.
Victoria: Oh, no. It wasn't me, actually. Ben put it together, so...
Billy: Oh.
Victoria: Yeah.
Billy: Uh, good.
Stitch: Yeah, Johnny just wanted it put together real fast so he could show his daddy how it works.
Billy: Yeah. Yeah, uh, well, we'll play engineer in just a second, okay? Because first, daddy also got something from Santa for Katie.
Victoria: Oh. How sweet. Oh, that's so nice. What do you got here, huh? Oh, look at that. That's so cute. That's gonna be like her playmate for a long time.
Billy: Yeah, I hope so.
Victoria: Cute. Yeah.
Billy: Do you -- do you mind?
Victoria: No, go ahead.
Billy: Hey, sweetheart. I hope that you'll always keep that nice and close. And when daddy can't be there, you snuggle up with it, all right? [Smooches] Yeah. Okay. Who's ready to play some train? You ready?
Johnny: [Babbles]
Billy: Hmm?
Johnny: [Babbles]
Billy: You ready? Here we go. Can you help me turn on the train? Here we go.
Victoria: Oh!
Faith: Connor.
Victor: Having Connor here is the best thing you could have done for Faith.
Chelsea: She's upset about Nick and Sharon.
Victor: Yeah. But she's happier right now.
Chelsea: Yeah. Connor has that affect on people.
Victor: Well, he has that affect on me.
Chelsea: [Chuckles]
Victor: You make me smile. Look at that. That was a hell of a kick.
Faith: What's wrong?
Chelsea: Oh, nothing, sweetheart. I'm sure Rudolph's red nose must have blown a fuse or something, huh? [Chuckles]
Nikki: Whatever I've had to deal with, whatever demons have haunted me this year, I've managed to overcome them. And you will, too.
Nick: You think so?
Nikki: All those wounds you've accumulated from Sharon -- they're -- they're gonna heal, and you're gonna move on.
Nick: What makes you so sure?
Nikki: Because you draw strength from the same source I do -- our family.
Nick: Our family. All our family?
Nikki: Including your father. Things may not have always been smooth sailing, but...he's still my anchor. And the children, grandchildren -- they're my compass. Honey, why don't you let them be that for you? And Victoria and Dylan and your father and me?
Nick: We may need that compass. Maybe a flashlight. I'll be right back.
Paul: I'm not going to interrupt what is obviously meant to be a Christmas for two.
Avery: Oh, where's Chris? Isn't she feeling well?
Paul: Um, actually, she's been queasy all day, and then she suddenly got this craving for the, uh, sunflower muffins you can only get here at crimson lights.
Avery: Well, see? There's a lot of things you can only get at crimson lights.
Dylan: [Sighs] Maybe people will realize that before it's too late.
Paul: Yeah, hopefully.
[Footsteps approaching]
Dylan: Oh, uh, I don't really mean to be a scrooge, but we're kind of -- we're kind of closed.
Summer: Oh, yeah. We know. We were headed home.
Austin: Yeah, we saw the sign, but...
Summer: All the streetlights went out. Lights went out all over town.
Austin: Except here. Do you guys know what's going on?
Paul: Uh, no. I'm about to find out. Yeah, this is Williams. Um, I'm down in the warehouse district, and there is an apparent power outage. Uh -- oh, really? That bad?
Hilary: But I already have one. [Chuckles] Devon, your father gave it to me.
Devon: Hilary, I want you to put this on your finger the day that we can actually be together and face the consequences.
Hilary: Is that day ever gonna come?
Devon: Do you know what they call this type of ring?
Hilary: It's an eternity band.
Devon: That's how long I'm gonna love you for, Hilary.
Hilary: Must have cost you a fortune.
Devon: I'm looking at my fortune. That is, unless you want me to take that back.
Hilary: No. I love it. I love you. I vow to keep this ring safe and hidden until I can wear it, even if it takes a miracle. [Chuckles]
Devon: What was that?
Hilary: I think all the lights went out. Great. What do we do now?
Devon: Um... I think we should take advantage of it. That's what I think.
Hilary: What do you mean?
Devon: Genoa City's in the dark. No one can see us do this.
Paul: Contact every cop that's off-duty and tell them that they're now on standby. And have the uniforms go around to every signal and make sure they're at least blinking red. Right. And keep me updated. Right. Okay.
Dylan: What's the situation?
Paul: Well, uh, there was an ice storm up north that knocked out a power station, and it could be hours before they're back online.
Summer: Well, we have flashlights at home.
Paul: Well, actually, I don't want anyone going anywhere until we can at least check out these signals. So I'm gonna call Chris and make sure she's okay.
Austin: Well, I'm sorry that we stepped on Christmas for you two.
Avery: No. Not at all. I'm glad you're here and safe.
Dylan: Ice storm's up north, so there's still a chance the power will come back on.
Nick: This is the only light on for miles.
Summer: Dad, grandma, what are you guys doing here?
Nikki: Oh, we thought you and Austin would be at home.
Austin: Yeah, we thought so, too. [Chuckles]
Summer: Hey, come on.
Avery: Oh, how's Christine?
Paul: Uh, I'm happy to report she's fine. But I'm very unhappy to see you guys driving around on these dark streets.
Nick: Glad this place still has power.
Dylan: And coffee. You guys want some?
Paul: Sure.
Nick: Yeah, thanks.
Paul: Here, let me help you with those.
Nikki: Oh, thank you.
Summer: Oh, my God. New year's day? This concert was completely sold out.
Austin: I've been trolling the web for months, and it paid off.
Summer: These tickets probably cost you at least double, then.
Austin: You're worth it.
Summer: Babe, that's really sweet, but you're the one that's always telling me that --
Austin: I know I'm always saying to not wave your money around, but I've been saving up just for this. So, do you like it?
Summer: [Chuckles] Like it? I-I love it!
Austin: Yeah?
Summer: Yes! I love it! And I love that we get to go together, and I love you so much. Thank you. Um, okay. Just remember how much you love me when you open up your gift. Okay, okay, okay.
Austin: Okay, okay. Oh, it's beautiful. It's absolutely beautiful. Okay. Should I sit down before you tell me how much, or...?
Summer: Maybe, because I made it.
Austin: Say what?
Summer: Yes. Yes, I learned my lesson about overspending, so I took up knitting in secret to make your present. Let me just put it on.
Austin: Oh.
Summer: Yeah. Do you like it?
Austin: Yeah. I love it.
Nikki: I'm sorry we're spoiling your plans.
Avery: No.
Dylan: No, you know, we weren't, uh, ready for a big crowd, but everybody's welcome to share what we do have.
Austin: Uh, you need help with anything?
Nick: Yeah, hey, uh, let's put some tables together.
Austin: Cool.
Summer: I will go grab silverware and napkins.
Nikki: I'll put some more coffee on.
Dylan: Sorry.
Avery: No. Don't be. I have everything I want for Christmas.
Dylan: Yeah, me, too.
Jack: Thanks. All right. Well, if it's any consolation, we're not the only ones in the dark. Look, I know this is your first Christmas back in Genoa City. I'm sorry. I know how much you were looking forward to it.
Phyllis: Do you hear me complaining? I am so grateful for every minute that I have with you, in the dark or not. Besides, all these candles are just so romantic.
Jack: Well, I love your positive attitude.
Phyllis: Mm-hmm.
Jack: But I have to warn you, uh, things could get very chilly in this old house very quickly.
Phyllis: Oh. You thinking what I'm thinking?
Jack: We have to find some way to keep each other warm.
Phyllis: Yes. It's a matter of survival.
Summer: Hey.
Nick: Okay, let's just -- there. Thank you.
Summer: Hey.
Victor: Hi, sweetheart.
Nikki: Oh, my gosh. Victor. What are you doing here?
Chelsea: Hi.
Victor: Well, we were on the way to the underground to pick you up.
Chelsea: Yeah, we saw the lights.
Victor: Yes.
Dylan: You guys want some coffee?
Victor: Thank you, Dylan. That's very kind of you. My goodness, how lucky are we to spend Christmas Eve with you and then Christmas day.
Avery: Well, luck has nothing to do with it, Victor. Crimson lights has always been a place people come in good times and bad. And hopefully always will be.
Victor: Well, in spite of your passionate defense of this place, change is inevitable, you know.
Avery: So are power outages, and yet here we all are. [Chuckling]
Victoria: Is there enough room for us?
Nikki: Of course, my baby how are you?
Paul: You guys drove?
Stitch: Yeah, it's completely quiet out there.
Paul: Wow. What's going on with the lights?
Billy: Oh, they're blinking red.
Paul: Good to hear.
Billy: Hey.
Chelsea: Hi!
Billy: I was worried about you and Connor stuck up in the penthouse.
Chelsea: I know. I was worried about you driving. Hi.
Stitch: Hey, let's go over there and warm up a little bit.
Victoria: Yes.
Nick: Hey, sweetheart.
Faith: Hi, daddy. The lights are out everywhere. Why are they still on here?
Nick: Well, your uncle Dylan must have a backup generator.
Victor: Now.
Nikki: What?
Victor: I have one more Christmas present for you.
Nikki: Oh, Victor. Another one?
Victor: Mm-hmm. Close your eyes. Close your eyes.
Nikki: All right. All right.
Victor: Now open them.
Nikki: Victor, as sweet as this is, I have more jewelry than I can ever wear.
Victor: Just open it. [Smooches]
Nikki: [Gasps] Oh, my God. A strawberry in the middle of a storm in the dead of winter. Only you could come up with that.
Victor: Do you remember?
Nikki: Of course I do. How could I forget?
Nikki: Mmm. How did you know I love strawberries in the middle of the night?
Victor: Because Charlie told me that you raid the fridge occasionally.
Nikki: [Chuckles] He did? Is that why there's always a dish waiting for me?
Victor: Mm-hmm. So, you see, I've learned a lot about you these past few months.
Nikki: Mm. Well, now you know everything.
Victor: Let's say I have a more intimate knowledge of you.
Nikki: I hope you're not disappointed.
Victor: You're every man's fantasy of what a woman should be in bed and more.
Nikki: [Chuckling] Oh. Well, you're not so bad yourself.
Victor: You're still my fantasy. Do you know that?
Nikki: You're not so bad yourself.
Devon: I like the dark.
Hilary: [Chuckles] It's perfect.
Devon: I'm very tempted to put that ring on your finger to make sure it fits.
Hilary: No! Don't jinx it. Besides, I have to get back to Neil, and you have to be patient.
Devon: I have been.
Hilary: Well, an eternity is worth waiting for. [Zips purse] Merry Christmas.
Devon: Merry Christmas, Hilary.
Nick: Not how you planned out this day, huh?
Dylan: Not quite.
[Both chuckle]
Jack: Merry Christmas!
Billy: Hey!
Jack: How are you? Any food left?
Avery: Yes! Well, for my favorite sister and her fiancé, of course. Come on.
Jack: Hey.
Summer: Hi. Merry Christmas.
Austin: There you go.
Phyllis: Thank you, Austin.
Austin: You do know my name.
Phyllis: Yes. And thank you for the video you made. It was wonderfully thoughtful.
Summer: Wow. Look at you doing the whole Christmas spirit thing, mom.
Phyllis: I'm trying. [Pats back]
Austin: Hey. You know, this is the best Christmas I've ever had.
Summer: Really? I was just about to say this is the best Christmas I've ever had, too.
Billy: Our first Christmas as a couple didn't go quite like I thought.
Chelsea: Well, Connor and Faith think it's an adventure. They're having a blast.
Billy: Yeah. And Katie's sleeping through the whole thing.
Chelsea: Not exactly the Christmas we had planned.
Billy: I wouldn't change a thing.
Stitch: This is one of the best Christmases I've ever had. It's all because of you.
Paul: All right. I just got a report from the power company. They are on site, and they should have the lights on any moment now, so, uh, then we can all go home.
[Indistinct conversations]
Nikki: [Laughs]
Nick: Hey, everyone. I want to make a toast. To my brother Dylan, who had the foresight to have an emergency generator on hand to keep the lights and the heat on in this place -- a haven and a home out of the dark and the cold.
Jack: Here, here.
[All cheering]
Dylan: Uh, Nick, thank you. But I don't have a generator.
Paul: What, no backup?
Dylan: Uh, no. Nothing.
Nikki: Well, how do you explain the lights?
Next on "The Young and the Restless"...
Ashley: Were you checking me out?
Joe: Well, when I see a beautiful woman, I can't help myself.
Tobias: Is this about the formula I stole from Ashley's files? I hope it was useful.
Victor: It was.
Jack: We have to tell the authorities that you're alive.
