Episode # 10544 ~ Victor & Nikki host Thanksgiving at the Ranch; Stitch opens up to Ashley; Noah & Mariah rally around Sharon.

Provided By Suzanne

Victor: Well, doesn't this look beautiful? My goodness.

Nikki: Yes, doesn't it? Bonnie really outdid herself.

Victor: I'm sure you had something to do with it, yeah?

Nikki: Well, I did do a lot of supervising.

Victor: Did you?

Nikki: I love Thanksgiving. I mean, how often do we devote a whole day to being grateful for everything that we have?

Victor: Not often enough, sweetheart. But I'm kind of sad that our children and most of our grandchildren won't be here.

Nikki: I know. I know that's not how you had hoped it would be.

Victor: Mnh-mnh. I'd hoped that at least Noah and Summer would have showed up.

Nikki: Noah has a lot to sort through.

Victor: Yeah, thanks to his sorry excuse for a mother.

Nikki: It's not like other people won't be joining us.

Faith: Happy Thanksgiving!

Nikki: Oh, my goodness! Look who's here!

Victor: Look who's here! Look who's here!

Nikki: And her beautiful new dress.

Faith: Mommy picked it out for me.

Nikki: Oh, she did?

Sharon: Why don't you show Nikki your matching headband, too?

Victor: You look so pretty.

Nikki: It is absolutely beautiful, my princess.

Victor: My goodness. My goodness, my goodness. I hope you understand if we don't ask you to stay.

Sharon: No problem. I actually have my own plans. I didn't want faith's to change, either, just because things turned out in a way we didn't anticipate. Um...faith was looking forward to enjoying the holidays with grandma and grandpa. Weren't you, sweetie?

Faith: Yep!

Victor: Yep!

Nikki: Us, too.

Victor: Yep!

Nikki: All right. Well, thank you, Sharon. Goodbye.

Sharon: Um, Nikki, would you mind walking me to the door?

Nikki: Sure.

Victor: That's what grandpa says sometimes -- "yep!"

Sharon: Um, I don't know what nick has said to you, but we decided not to tell faith the whole story of our breakup.

Nikki: Yes, we are very well aware, and we will protect her from everything that you've done.

Sharon: Thank you. Um, I'll be back later to pick faith up, so --

[Door slams]

Victoria: Hey! Yeah, the baby wanted to say, "happy turkey day." I love you, Johnny.

Billy: Yeah, well, we tried. I'm glad you called.

Victoria: Yeah. I'm just making the rounds. I just talked to reed. Oh, he wants me to tell you, "go, lions."

Billy: Wise guy. I'll have to text him a bears logo. So, how are you and the bambina?

Victoria: Oh, we're good, you know? What are you -- what are you doing today?

Billy: Uh, well, we just got back from the park -- fed the ducks. Gonna do the dinner thing later on.

Victoria: Oh, nice. Okay. Well, enjoy, and I guess I'll be talking to you soon, when we get the DNA-test results, whenever that is.

Billy: Right. I'll, uh -- I'll talk to you later.

Victoria: Bye, Billy.

Billy: Bye. [Exhales sharply] Hmm. What you got? Which one do you like?

Abby: Well, it is a shame that you and this little cutie couldn't be with Billy today.

Victoria: Yeah, well... he's with Chelsea and the boys.

Abby: Still?

Victoria: Abby, it is what it is.

Abby: Okay. Well, uh, hopefully, stitch is smart enough not to show up.

Victoria: Hey, stop. I won't have you slamming Ben.

Abby: He deserves it.

Victoria: No, he doesn't, and after you hear the whole story, you'll see.

Stitch: Hey. Wow. Great minds think alike, huh? Working on a holiday?

Ashley: Well, I'm just wrapping up a few things before I meet Traci later. What about you?

Stitch: Uh, you know, you're looking at it -- work, work, and more work.

Ashley: You know, would you like to have a few days off -- spend more time with your mom now that she's in the hospital?

Stitch: My mom -- she left town.

Ashley: What do you mean, she left town? She just had heart surgery.

Stitch: Yeah, well, she left a note and disappeared. No one's seen or heard from her since yesterday.

Ashley: What are you talking about? She can't be in good enough shape to have left memorial.

Stitch: She's not. That's why I'm worried like hell. But short of hiring a private detective, there's no way to track her down. I just got to wait for her to touch base and let us know she's okay.

Ashley: I'm so sorry.

Stitch: It's okay. I figured coming in here would take my mind off things.

Ashley: What about your sister? Are you gonna see her later?

Stitch: Kelly wanted to be alone today.

Ashley: Yeah, well, I'm sure it was pretty rough on her when she found out that Jack was engaged to Phyllis.

Stitch: He's what? Kelly didn't tell me that. That's why she was so upset when I saw her yesterday. She didn't tell me Jack broke up with her. That's -- it was right before I --

Ashley: Before you what?

Stitch: I laid news on her that I've been lying to her most of her life -- lying to everyone, including you, Ashley.

Nick: [Coughs] Don't give up. [Grunts] Don't give up. [Breathing heavily] You got to get it off. Ahhh-ahhhh! Ugh! Go-o-o-o-o-d! [Groaning and crying]

Cane: Guys, guys, guys, whoa. Slow down. Slow down. Slow down. You don't have to catch the turkey. Slow down. Come on. Let's go help in the kitchen.

Neil: Thanksgiving time. Welcome to the chaos, winters-style.

Hilary: Seems pretty tame so far.

Neil: Just you wait. [Chuckles]

Hilary: More cider?

Neil: Yeah, sure. I'd love some cider, baby -- love some.

[Doorbell rings]

Jill: Happy Thanksgiving!

Devon: Happy Thanksgiving! [Smooches] Let me get your coat.

Jill: Thank you. Where are my babies? There's my babies!

Mattie: Grandma Jill's here!

Jill: Come here! Hi, sweetheart! Oh! Where's your daddy? Come show me.

Colin: Good to see you, Devon.

Devon: It's good to see Jill.

Colin: You know, I'm delighted to be part of this holiday -- my family, you, your father, and his beautiful wife. I can't remember a time that I haven't looked forward to more.

Jack: Kelly, I'm so sorry about what happened yesterday. I should have been the one to tell you, not Phyllis. The way she dropped the whole engagement on you -- it was not the way I wanted to end things after everything we've been through together. I need to see you. Call me.

Phyllis: I see you found your phone.

Christine: There he is. Hello, Victor.

Victor: Hello, Christine. How are you?

Christine: Very well. Happy Thanksgiving.

Victor: Nice to see you.

Christine: [Smooches]

Paul: We appreciate your having us.

Victor: It's very important to Nikki.

Paul: How is she doing? I haven't seen her in a while.

Victor: She's doing fine. If you'll excuse me...

Christine: Okay. So, that went well.

Paul: [Chuckles] Honey, I appreciate you agreeing to come here.

Christine: Oh, yeah. It is important for you to spend the holidays with Dylan and Nikki, too, especially after the concerns you mentioned.

Nikki: This is Victor's favorite chardonnay, unless you'd prefer red.

Paul: Oh, no, no, no. White's fine. Thank you.

Nikki: Christine?

Christine: None for me, thanks. Uh...we're trying to have a baby again, so, with any luck, I'm pregnant right now.

Nikki: Oh, that's wonderful. I know how much it would mean to both of you. One sparkling water coming up.

Christine: Thank you, Nikki.

[Cell phone beeps]

Avery: Faith, hi! You enjoying a few days off from school? Any fun plans?

Faith: I'll be with my mom. Grandma put out snacks. I'm gonna go get something.

Dylan: Okay. Well, you tried.

Avery: Yeah, I did. I can't blame her. This isn't the Thanksgiving she was counting on.

Dylan: Uh, well, I'm sure that's true for everybody here. I mean, until Nikki called last night, I thought it was just gonna be you and me cooking -- well, you cooking -- and us watching football.

Avery: Well, you know, this seems fitting, in a way.

Dylan: How so?

Avery: Awkward family get-togethers -- isn't that what Thanksgiving's all about?

Colin: Well, I wanted to thank you both for giving me the opportunity to prove that I can be trusted by opening your hearts.

Cane: Yeah? Don't go and blow it.

Colin: Life's good. I feel like a rich man, and I want it to stay that way.

Hilary: You know, you and Jill need some drinks. Mind giving me a hand?

Colin: Hilary, I'd be delighted. Would you like me to pour you some wine?

Hilary: No. I'd like you to shut up and listen. You asked Devon for money. He gave it to you. That means our deal is done. So, no more threats. No more veiled innuendoes. And if you think for a second that there's gonna be another payoff, well, you can think again, 'cause you know what? You're not the only one who knows how to screw with people's lives.

Colin: This is a family holiday. Why don't we focus on that?

Nick: Please! Can anyone hear me?! [Groans] Hey. Hey, buddy. I need your help. I need you to go get your owner, okay? Can you do that? Can you go get -- I need you -- can you understand me? He's just a dog. He doesn't understand. I need you -- [Coughs]

Mariah: [Speaking indistinctly]

Noah: Oh, mom, good. You got my message.

Sharon: Uh, yeah. I didn't know you were both here. And you ran out of the house so quickly, I thought maybe you were avoiding me.

Mariah: I'm not big on holidays.

Noah: Well, I wanted to spend the holiday with Courtney, but she was on duty, so I thought I'd come here and do inventory. I just figured I'd avoid everybody, you know -- just a little peace and quiet.

Mariah: And then I walked in.

Noah: But at least you were willing to pitch in.

Mariah: Yes, and then we started talking and we realized... Thanksgiving? Work?

Noah: Didn't seem right.

Mariah: Yes, and we both bonded over the fact that we were being jerks.

Noah: We realized that as lame as this holiday is for us, what you're going through is 2 million times worse. I-I haven't got over what you did, but you're my mom, and you shouldn't spend Thanksgiving alone.

Jack: Yeah, I need to get better at keeping track of this thing.

Phyllis: Sneaky little cell phone. Hey, Mrs. Martinez left us an amazing meal -- just have to heat it up.

Jack: Good thing.

Phyllis: Oh, right, right. Certainly wouldn't want me to cook, right? "Phyllis' mashed potatoes. Paramedics on standby. Thank you."

Jack: Listen, I think we ought to address that. Maybe you and I should go in the kitchen and mess around a little someday.

Phyllis: Oh, now he's talkin'!

Jack: Oh, you are incorrigible.

Phyllis: Hey, you know what? I am very happy that I left the cooking to the experts today. A nice, quiet day alone -- this is our first holiday together in over a year, and I want you all to myself.

Jack: That reminds me of something.

Phyllis: Hmm.

Jack: Just something for you.

Phyllis: God, you are smooth.

Jack: Go ahead. Open it.

Phyllis: Okay. What in the hell is this?

Chelsea: Here. This'll warm you up.

Billy: Oh, thanks.

Chelsea: I know you have a lot weighing on you, Billy. You don't have to pretend for my sake.

Billy: You know, the last few days have been -- been about me, you know, wondering if I'm gonna be a dad again. But, look -- I really want today to be about us. In fact, earlier today I came across -- across this.

Chelsea: Oh. "Connor's first Thanksgiving."

Billy: Yeah. Look, I know that's something you shared with Adam, and you believed you had a lot of holidays to share with him and with Connor, and now it's you and me together. It's been a long and very strange trip. But here we are, sharing our first Thanksgiving. So, I thought that we should start our own traditions -- make some new memories.

Chelsea: I say... let's break out the fingerpaints.

Ashley: Well, after you and I talked about what I'd done, letting the police arrest me for tom's murder to protect my father --

Stitch: Now you know why I was so fascinated.

Ashley: I assumed you were covering for somebody, that you weren't responsible for killing your father. I'm so happy for you! It's great that the truth is out and people can see the man you really are -- somebody who's willing to sacrifice so much for somebody they love. That's amazing.

Stitch: Even if it means breaking the law and tanking his own future?

Ashley: You know what? You did it for all the right reasons. That's what I think.

Stitch: My mom's life's a disaster now, too. That's why she bolted from the hospital. And poor Kelly -- she -- she had no clue.

Ashley: I'm really sorry this is happening to you. It's a lot.

Stitch: I always knew there'd be fallout.

Ashley: Well, it's not the kind of thing that just because you tell the truth, it just fixes everything magically, right?

Stitch: No. Yeah, no. You're -- you're right. I mean, I did falsify my identity, which screws up my military record and my medical license -- pretty much every document I ever signed as an adult. It's not gonna be easy to move forward from that.

Ashley: Well, you've got my support. You've got Jabot's support.

Stitch: Thanks, ash, but all I'm hoping is that the truth about who I am and what I did will mean the world to Victoria and make all the difference.

Abby: I was so horrible to stitch, but how could I have known that he wasn't really a murderer?

Victoria: Well, you couldn't have, but you do now. He's a good man with a good heart, just like I always believed that he was.

Abby: Well, now that you know the truth, is he the man that you want to be with?

Victoria: Abby, I don't know, okay? I didn't ask you to come here so that we could discuss my love life.

Abby: Well, then why did you ask me to come?

Victoria: Because... I need you to help me.

Colin: Brr!

Jill: What's up with you and Hilary?

Colin: What?

Jill: Well, before, when I walked in on you guys, it seemed like she couldn't get away from you fast enough.

Colin: Oh. Well, it seems like I may have ruffled the feathers of our hostess.

Jill: [Chuckling] How did you manage to do that, darling?

Colin: Well, I may have communicated -- accidentally, of course -- a degree of disbelief that a beautiful woman like herself could be married to Neil.

Jill: That's horrible. But, see, I've wondered the same thing myself for a different reason, because Neil has integrity. Hilary -- I wouldn't trust her as far as I could throw her.

Colin: You know, you're smokin' hot when you're suspicious.

Jill: Well, then, I must be smoldering right now, because you, my darling, are keeping secrets again.

Hilary: I spoke to Colin. He's being really coy. I don't trust him. Okay, everyone! The table is set, so...

Neil: You know, I was thinking -- how are the plans coming along for our family lunch, where we all get to meet Devon's new girlfriend?

Lily: Well, they're in the works, okay? They're in the works. I don't know about you guys, but I'm excited to meet your new little girlfriend. She sounds very special.

Devon: She is very special.

Neil: So, Devon, could she be the one?

Devon: [Chuckles] I don't know about all that. Let's just get through lunch, all right? I'll get some more snacks. We're running low.

Cane: Yeah. Let me help you.

Cane: You know, I'm not buying it. Lily and Neil may think you're seeing someone else, but I know it doesn't work that way, 'cause when you're in love with someone, you just don't move on that fast.

Noah: Look, mom, I know this isn't how you usually do it up for Thanksgiving, but --

Sharon: Oh, who cares?! This is the best sandwich I have ever had.

Noah: Mom is a legend when it comes to the holidays, all right? Decorations, cooking -- amazing.

Sharon: Well, no. I'll let you in on a little secret. Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings -- it's not my fave.

Noah: Really?

Sharon: Mm-hmm.

Noah: I never knew that.

Sharon: Yeah. You know, one year, I made pasta primavera. It was such a nice change.

[Laughter]

Noah: What about you? What do you like to do to celebrate, you know, besides eating?

Mariah: Um... well, as you know, I didn't have the most normal of upbringings. The path followers would get together on Thanksgiving, and we would all share how thankful we were that Ian was in our lives and talk about how we wanted to be better people, and the whole time, all I could think was, "can't we just turn on football and make cranberry sauce?"

Noah: Must have been rough.

Mariah: I survived.

Noah: So, if you had to share with the group now, what would you say?

Mariah: You mean, what are my areas of improvement?

Nick: Sure -- what you have to be thankful for. Whichever.

Mariah: [Chuckles] Well... I could be more patient... a little less self-centered.

Noah: Little?

Mariah: A little -- little less self-centered. And I'm still working on the friends things.

Sharon: Aren't we all?

[Both laugh]

Mariah: What about you?

Noah: What could I work on?

Mariah: Yes.

Noah: Nothing. I'm perfect.

Mariah: Come on.

Noah: She tells me all the time.

[Both laugh]

Mariah: Well? Are you gonna play?

Sharon: Are you sure you want to go down that road? We could be here all night.

Mariah: [Chuckles]

Sharon: [Laughs]

[Laughter, indistinct conversations]

Victor: How's it going in there?

Nikki: Just fine. Faith is in there helping with the desserts.

Victor: Oh. Maybe I should supervise.

Nikki: Oh, no, darling. Please don't do that. I want you to stay here. I want to give a toast.

Victor: You do? Uh...your attention, please. Nikki would like to give a toast.

Paul: Absolutely! Let's gather.

Nikki: Well... there really aren't words to express what it means to me to have you all here tonight. When I called Dylan last night to invite him, I...became acutely aware of what date it was. It's been exactly a year since I announced that I was Dylan's mother. Of course, I did it in the worst way possible, in the middle of a busy restaurant. He was very confused and, for good reason, didn't believe me.

Dylan: No regrets. That was then. Let's just focus on how far we've come.

Nikki: It's been an amazing journey. I'm so glad we took it together.

Dylan: I'm glad, too. I, uh, feel closer to you than I ever thought possible. And you -- you know, a year ago, we never even knew we were father and son.

Paul: It's been a rough road for us, too.

Dylan: Wow. You could say that again. But through it all, you've been very kind and supportive. I'm grateful to have you in my life.

Paul: That makes two of us, son.

Dylan: To Paul. To Nikki. I'm proud to call you my parents. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.

Paul: Happy Thanksgiving.

Nikki: Happy Thanksgiving.

Paul: There's a lot to be thankful for.

Victor: Dylan... cheers.

Phyllis: Now, I was visualizing pearls, which are my birthstone, by the way, and diamonds and emeralds -- well, those always work, too. But this...

Jack: Actually, there's a story behind this.

Phyllis: Ah. There better be.

Jack: Last Thanksgiving, Summer and I went together to Georgia to see you. We thought if the two of us were in a room, we could make something positive happen, and then when you didn't respond at all, it was pretty rough on Summer.

Phyllis: Oh, honey, I don't remember any of that. I wasn't even aware.

Jack: We made it through and we came back early and were here in time to have Thanksgiving dinner with my family. And then we cleared the table, and in classic Abbott family tradition, the wishbone --

Phyllis: Summer was the youngest, so she had to do it. [Laughs]

Jack: We did it in tandem. She and I had the same wish -- that you would come back. So... we saved this.

Phyllis: [Chuckles]

Jack: I glued it together. I-I thought it would mean something.

Phyllis: It sure does. You were right. This is worth more to me than any piece of jewelry. Thank you.

Jack: You were gone so long... I stopped believing you were coming back. I'm so sorry I lost faith. I'm so grateful to have you back in my life.

Billy: It looks like we got ourselves a couple of budding Picassos here, huh?

Chelsea: Oh, my gosh! You guys did such a good job, huh?!

Billy: Yeah, you did.

Chelsea: Yeah!

Billy: Hey, looks like a good photo op.

Chelsea: Yes!

Billy: Squeeze in.

Chelsea: Always time for a photo op. Can I take this? Ready? Smile! Smile! Ready?

Billy: Here we go. And say, "turkey!" On 3. 1, 2, 3!

Both: Turkey!

Johnny: Turkey!

Chelsea: [Laughs]

Billy: Nice!

Stitch: Look, I suppose that last bit goes without saying -- how much I want to be with Victoria and how much I hope the baby is mine.

Ashley: Well, it's kind of out of our hands now, isn't it?

Stitch: And, naturally, I'm sure you're rooting for your brother. I get it.

Ashley: I don't have a say in this. It's really up to Victoria who or what she wants. Look, here we are, chatting away, and I know you came here to work on our great new fragrance, right? We're so close to a breakthrough. What do you say we spend the rest of the time trying to make that happen?

Stitch: That sounds like a plan.

Ashley: Okay.

Dylan: Oh, what's this for?

Nikki: Oh, that beautiful toast you gave Paul and me.

Avery: It was beautiful.

Nikki: Would you like some more wine?

Avery: I would love some. Thank you.

Nikki: Dylan?

Dylan: I'm good, thanks.

Nikki: Okay.

Nikki: You know, we're out of wine. I'm gonna go open another bottle. I'll be right back.

Victoria: Hi, everybody!

Paul: Victoria, hi!

Victoria: Hi! Happy Thanksgiving!

Paul: Hi, Abby!

Abby: Hi! It looks like we surprised them, sis.

Victor: Look who's there.

Paul: Oh, wow -- in person!

Victor: My goodness!

Nikki: Oh, my gosh!

Victor: Look at this.

Victoria: Here she is.

Victor: Look at this.

Nikki: Honey, I didn't know that you were being released today!

Victoria: Oh, I didn't know if it was gonna happen or not. I didn't want to get your hopes up.

Victor: Why didn't you call us, sweetheart? I could have sent a car.

Abby: Oh, I managed to squeeze them both into mine.

Nikki: Oh, thank you so much, Abby! I wasn't expecting -- oh, my gosh!

Victoria: Oh, mom. Don't cry, mom.

Nikki: No, it's happy tears. It's happy tears.

Victor: Let's sit down, sweetheart. Let's sit down right here. Let's sit down right there.

Victoria: So, uh... I was wondering if maybe the baby and I could stay here tonight.

Victor: You even have to ask that question? We would love it!

Nikki: Are you kidding? I will have bonnie set the crib up in the guest room.

Dylan: Are you gonna hide that baby all day or what?

Paul: Yeah! Let's see the guest of honor!

Victoria: Oh, all right. We thought you would never ask.

[All gasp and "aww"]

Victoria: Here she is.

Dylan: That's my little niece.

Nikki: Oh, she's beautiful!

Victoria: [Chuckles]

Faith: She's so cute!

Abby: That's your cousin, sweetie.

Avery: She's precious.

Nikki: This is your grandma.

Christine: Oh, my gosh. She is absolutely gorgeous.

Paul: Yeah.

Victor: Now we have a Thanksgiving.

[Laughter]

Paul: Yes.

Victoria: Well, I'm glad you're all so pleased, because I have an announcement to make.

Abby: Drumroll, please.

Victoria: Everyone, I would like to introduce you to Katie, short for "Katherine."

Victor: Ohh. That's nice.

Nikki: Oh, my darling. Oh, thank you, sweetheart. Katie. You're my new little Katie. [Gasps] Yes.

Christine: So, you had no idea you were having a girl?

Victoria: No. You can call me old-fashioned, but I just wanted to be surprised. Katie definitely surprised me.

Abby: Whereas I would totally want to know as far in advance as possible, at least to have a sense of who the baby is. I mean, it almost drove me crazy, having to call Victoria's baby "it" instead of "he" or "she." "The zygote" -- please.

Victor: What?

Nikki: Abby.

Victoria: I thought about names for a while, and then when I realized that I might have a girl, there was really only one choice.

Victor: Katherine after your godmother?

Faith: She was a really nice lady. I miss her a lot.

Christine: Oh, we all do, sweetheart.

Paul: Katherine chancellor was one in a million.

Dylan: If it weren't for her, I would never know that you and Paul are my parents.

Nikki: She sent me on this quest 'cause she knew that I needed to know.

Victoria: I admired how she lived her life every day. Some people check things off a list and call that "living," but not Katherine. No. She was present in every moment.

Abby: She was a hell of a woman.

Victor: And she would love to hear you say that.

Victoria: She was fearless and strong and loyal to everyone that she loved.

Paul: And funny.

Christine: [Chuckles] And that incredible laugh.

Victor: And bawdy.

Victoria: Yes.

Paul: She could make anybody smile, no matter what kind of day you were having.

Victoria: All the things I hope that my daughter will be.

Nikki: Well, I can't think of anybody who wouldn't agree with that.

Victor: Katie Newman -- that's a beautiful name. Katherine, I think, is looking down on us now.

Nikki: Yes.

Neil: So, how is work going for you, Jill?

Jill: Oh, it's great. I'm loving it. Lauren and I have all these exciting projects on the horizon.

Neil: Well, I'm glad to hear that. I know how hard it was for you to have to leave chancellor.

Jill: Oh, God.

Colin: Cane, too.

Cane: Gee, dad. How many times do I have to tell you I am perfectly happy working at the club?

Colin: Just keep telling yourself that, kid.

Jill: Colin, don't start.

Hilary: Lily, we already set the table. What are you doing?

Lily: These are the soup spoons.

Hilary: But we're not having soup.

Lily: But I thought -- oh, never mind. I'm sorry. I don't know what I was thinking.

Devon: You've been distracted all day. What's going on?

Lily: Well [Sighs] I don't know. I'm just -- I'm really worried about dad. I've been watching him today, and he's been just acting different.

Devon: I haven't noticed anything.

Lily: Well, I really think he's just putting on a brave face for all of us.

Devon: Why would he do that?

Lily: I don't know. Maybe his blindness is starting to get to him. You know, in the beginning, he thought it was just temporary, but maybe he's thinking it might not come back, and if it doesn't --

Devon: Do you think he might be tempted to drink?

Lily: I don't know. I don't want to get ahead of myself. I'm just saying that dad has come a long way since the accident. We can't take for granted that he's doing okay, so I think that we should just do everything we can to be there for him and just try to help.

Neil: Hey, everyone, before we eat, if you wouldn't mind, I'd like to say a few words.

Lily: All right. You have the floor, dad.

Neil: Today is all about thanks... and I want everyone at this table to know just how thankful and grateful I am for your support. My beautiful wife, Hilary... my children lily and Devon... my son Moses, who isn't here with us today -- he's with his mother -- and my beautiful grandchildren, Charlie and Mattie. I love you both so very much. Cane, Colin, and Jill -- all of you -- I'm so grateful for you. In a world where many don't have, we have been given so much, and, God, we thank you for that. We thank you for protecting us and guiding us... and blessing us. And may you bless this meal and everyone that's gathered here to enjoy it. In our father's name... amen.

Hilary: Amen.

Jill: That was beautiful, Neil.

Neil: Okay. Let's eat.

Devon: Smells good.

Noah: This is my second favorite part of Thanksgiving.

Mariah: Go for it.

[Cans spray]

Mariah: [Laughs]

Noah: This is my first.

Mariah: Mm. No!

Noah: Yeah.

Mariah: I'm serious. Don't do it. [Laughs]

Noah: Mom? You okay?

Sharon: I've had such a nice time hanging out with you two today, but... starting tomorrow, you need to prepare yourself for what's coming.

Noah: Is dad fighting you for faith?

Mariah: Wait. What?

Sharon: Nick is suing for full custody of faith. And I don't know what it's gonna take to stop him, but I'm not going to let him take my daughter away from me.

Nick: I can't -- [Exhales sharply] I can't... [Groaning] [Breathing heavily]

Phyllis: You know what I'm most grateful for?

Jack: No. You tell me.

Phyllis: Despite your doubts, you never gave up hope. You never -- never gave up on me. You said you dated a little bit, but that was just someone to keep you company, right?

Jack: Listen to me. You have nothing to worry about. It's over.

Phyllis: I know... or we wouldn't be engaged. I'm gonna check on that dinner -- make sure the smoke alarm hasn't melted.

Ashley: Well, darn it. No closer to a breakthrough, and I've got to get going.

Stitch: Well, isn't that always the way?

Ashley: Are you sure you don't want to join Traci and me for dinner? Come on.

Stitch: Ah. That -- listen, thank you, but I'm not really up for being social. I'd rather stay here and see how much progress I can make. That is what you're paying me for, right?

Ashley: Yeah. I hope you see me as more than just your boss, though. I mean, I see myself as your friend, even though I know that things might get a little complicated down the line.

Stitch: Thanks, Ashley. I appreciate that.

Ashley: Sure. Well, have a nice Thanksgiving.

Stitch: Same to you. Give Traci my best.

Ashley: I will. Bye.

[Cell phone rings]

Stitch: Hello? Yeah, this is him.

[Cell phone rings]

Billy: Hey, doc. You have news?

Victoria: Thanks for letting me know.

Nikki: Honey... is everything all right?

Victoria: That was the hospital. The DNA results will be ready in the morning, so tomorrow we'll know who Katie's father is.

Next on "The Young and the Restless"...

Victoria: Those are the results of the paternity test?

Yes.

Sharon: I came here to see your father. We need to talk.

Summer: You need to leave him alone! You've hurt him enough already. Ohh!
