Episode # 10542 ~ Adam covers his tracks; Victoria decides to learn the truth about her baby's father; Phyllis plays games with Jack & Kelly.
Provided By Suzanne
Chelsea: Can you honestly say nothing will change between us if Victoria's baby turns out to be yours?
Billy: Chels, it's only gonna make things better. I mean, another kid to love? That's a sister for Johnny and reed and a pal for Connor.
Chelsea: I asked about us, Billy -- you and me. If this baby turns out to be yours, what happens with us?
Billy: Nothing is going to change.
Chelsea: [Chuckles] Okay.
Billy: Why bother asking me if you're not gonna believe what I tell you?
Chelsea: You're right. I-I shouldn't have even asked you. I mean...you can't say what's gonna happen any more than I can -- not until...
[Cell phone rings]
Billy: I, uh -- I need to take this.
Chelsea: Victoria?
Billy: Yeah. I'm sorry. Um, I'll -- I'll keep it short. Hey.
Victoria: Hi. Billy... can you come to the hospital right away?
Billy: Is the baby okay?
Victoria: She's fine. I just can't wait any longer. I need to know. Can you come and give the lab a DNA sample?
Constance: I-I don't understand. Bugatti loves you, Gabriel. Why would he growl at you?
Adam: I-I don't understand it, either. I don't.
Constance: Well, I've never seen that dog behave like that before.
Adam: Well, maybe -- you know, maybe he's not feeling well.
Constance: We just saw him run out of here. Obviously, he has a lot of energy, but he is not a sick dog. There is something else going on.
Sage: There is, and I know what it is. Bugatti has been away from Gabriel since the accident, and all the surgeries -- he's just getting reacquainted. Maybe he even feels a little abandoned.
Adam: Yeah. Yeah. No. I mean, do you think that's it? That's probably it, right? I just, you know -- seeing my dog react like that, I was -- you know, I was really looking forward to seeing him.
Constance: I may be an old woman, but I'm not an old fool. Dogs sense things that humans don't. Bugatti knows that you, Gabriel, are not the same man you used to be.
[Door opens]
Stitch: Hey.
Victoria: Hi.
Stitch: Hey. I got your message, but it didn't come through too clearly on my cell phone -- something about a pest. My mother didn't turn up here, did she? Please tell me she hasn't been bothering you.
Victoria: No, not at all, but what do you mean, "turn up"? I thought Maureen was in recovery.
Stitch: Apparently, my mother checked herself out of the hospital.
Victoria: After a heart attack and surgery?!
Stitch: Hey, look, it's nothing for you to worry about. My first priority is you and the baby. So, why'd you call? Is she okay?
Victoria: Yeah. She's fine. In fact, she just got swabbed for a paternity test. Billy's coming to give a DNA sample, so I called so that you could, too.
Stitch: Are you sure you're ready for this?
Victoria: For all our sakes, I think it's time that my daughter knows who her father is.
Jack: Kelly?
Kelly: Oh, hey! I didn't see you come in!
Jack: I'm glad I found you.
Kelly: That makes two of us.
Jack: We...need to talk.
Kelly: You know what? I know exactly what you're gonna say, so I'm gonna save you the trouble and say it for you.
Devon: Still grinding it out?
Hilary: Devon! What are you doing here?
Devon: Trying to steal every second I can with you.
Hilary: Mm. [Sighs] I wish we could stay like this forever.
Devon: Well, forever would be a great start.
Hilary: I wish we can, but I have work to do and... Neil's at home, waiting for me.
Devon: Right. Okay. I understand.
Hilary: Hey.
Devon: Phyllis. How are you? You look great.
Phyllis: Oh! Well, thanks. So do you, Devon.
Devon: Thank you.
Phyllis: Am I interrupting anything?
Hilary: Business.
Devon: Just family.
Hilary: Family business.
Devon: You know how that goes.
[Both chuckle]
Phyllis: I sure do. How's Malcolm doing?
Devon: He's doing great. We actually just saw him not too long ago. Phyllis and Malcolm used to work together.
Hilary: Oh. It's nice to meet you. I'm Hilary.
Devon: Hilary is Jack's assistant.
Phyllis: Oh, of course! Yes, you're Neil's new wife.
Hilary: Yes.
Phyllis: Jack has sung your praises.
Hilary: Yes, vice versa. I feel like I already know you.
Phyllis: Well, I think we're gonna be working together once I'm back at Jabot.
Devon: When's that gonna be?
Phyllis: Soon, I hope, but I'm here to see Jack. He said he had an important meeting at the office.
Hilary: A meeting? Let me...check. Um...well, maybe there was some kind of mix-up. Jack's not even here.
Phyllis: That's weird.
Devon: Maybe he changed plans and scheduled the meeting at the club.
Phyllis: It's not in your notes?
Hilary: You know how Jack is. If he felt like a client would be more comfortable outside of the office, he wouldn't have hesitated to have a meeting over dinner, you know?
Phyllis: [Chuckles] That's my guy. Well, I-I'll try the club. Thank you.
Hilary: No problem. Nice meeting you, Phyllis.
Phyllis: Nice to meet you, too.
Devon: Good to see you.
Phyllis: Bye. Okay.
Hilary: That was way too close.
Devon: Well, she didn't see anything.
Hilary: She could have. We need to be more careful, Devon. First cane found out about us, and then Colin saw us and demanded hush money, and now Phyllis almost --
Devon: I know the risks. I know the risks.
Hilary: Devon, we can't. What if --
Devon: Hilary, I want a life with you.
Hilary: We can't.
Devon: I-I know we can't right now. Can we at least just have this, with no "what ifs" tonight?
Kelly: You do not need to feel bad about this.
Jack: I don't?
Kelly: I know you've been so tired and so distracted. I couldn't possibly except you to wait at the hospital with me all night.
Jack: I hate that you went through that alone.
Kelly: Oh, I didn't go through it alone. I mean, Ben was there and the nurses, and they were all very supportive.
Jack: How is your mother doing?
Kelly: Well, she was sleeping when I left, but her vital signs are very good.
Jack: I'm glad to hear that -- very glad.
Kelly: She's a strong lady, obviously.
Jack: Like her daughter.
Kelly: Oh, please. You don't have to worry about me.
Jack: No, I-I do worry about you, particularly now. See, I -- God, I don't even know how to say this.
Kelly: Oh, come on, please. You don't have to feel guilty.
Jack: No, it's not that.
Kelly: You have been there for me in spirit, just like I've been there for you with the whole "Phyllis and Summer" thing. At least I hope I have been.
Jack: Yes, you have been.
Kelly: Okay.
Jack: That's what makes this so difficult.
Kelly: Enough of that. Listen, I have to get back to the hospital, and I would love it if you came with me. What's the matter?
Jack: More than anything, I don't want to hurt you.
Kelly: Then don't.
Chelsea: The DNA test? Victoria wants you to take it tonight?
Billy: Yeah. I mean, I've been waiting for her to make this decision, but now that she has...
Chelsea: Are you okay?
Billy: Sure, if being completely freaked out counts as okay.
Chelsea: Freaked that it won't be your baby or freaked that it will?
Billy: I don't know. I mean, either way, I -- I should go.
Chelsea: I'll go with you.
Billy: Really? You will?
Chelsea: Yeah! Sure! Why not?
Billy: Yeah. I mean, what about Johnny?
Chelsea: Uh, let's bring Johnny with us. He hasn't seen Victoria in a few days.
Billy: Yeah, and he has been asking to see his mom, and I'm sure he'd like to see his little sister. I mean --
Chelsea: No, it's -- it's okay. No matter what, she will always be his little sister. We'll get through this, Billy, together, for Johnny's sake. So, I'll go get him bundled up.
Billy: Meet you out front. And, Chels...thanks.
Chelsea: [Sighs]
Victoria: The DNA test is gonna be a relief for all of us. Now we'll finally know for sure.
Stitch: This kept me going, you know -- the thought that you and I could have made that beautiful baby girl together. And when I think about what could have happened to you if we hadn't found you in time --
Victoria: But you did. You found me. And she's here, and she's beautiful. I would do anything in the world for her.
Stitch: Like a true mom.
Victoria: Which is why I don't understand Maureen at all.
Stitch: Look, it's -- that's nothing for you to worry about, okay?
Victoria: How could she let you take the blame for killing your father?
Stitch: It was my choice.
Victoria: You were a teenager, Ben!
Stitch: As an adult, I stayed silent, even when my ex took my son away.
Victoria: Why didn't you speak up then?
Stitch: I used to watch my father beat my mother. And for a long time, I thought that... telling the truth -- it would crush her and just make me just as bad as him. I couldn't do it.
Victoria: Until now. Why?
Stitch: When my mom came here, the things she said -- you know, I realized her killing dad was over for her a long time ago, so...
Victoria: Yeah, but you're still paying.
Stitch: I lost so much -- my son... my wife... my work. I couldn't stand the thought of losing you, too, Vick -- not because of a lie.
Victoria: It means a lot to me, you know, that you told the truth.
Stitch: 'Cause I need to know what all this means for us.
Devon: Now there is zero chance of someone interrupting us.
Hilary: But I still have work to do.
Devon: Tonight this isn't an office.
Hilary: Devon... what are you doing?
Devon: What am I doing? I'm setting the mood, and this will do it.
[Tropical music playing]
Hilary: [Chuckles] This isn't exactly your style.
Devon: Tonight it is, 'cause for the next hour, this is our own private island.
Hilary: In Wisconsin?
Devon: No -- in the middle of the ocean somewhere, obviously, surrounded by waves and sandy beaches and flowers. There's no phones or computers.
Hilary: So, then, where's all this music coming from?
Devon: It is...being brought in by the tradewinds.
Hilary: [Laughs] You're being absurd.
Devon: I'm trying to be absurdly romantic. There you go. [Chuckles]
Hilary: [Chuckles]
Devon: Do you hear the waves yet?
Hilary: Hmm.
Devon: Do you feel the sun and the breeze?
Hilary: It's like magic.
Devon: That's exactly what it's like.
Adam: Of course I'm the same man, grandmother.
Sage: Constance, how can you even --
Constance: You may be the same Gabriel on the outside, but you're a different man on the inside.
Adam: You almost sound happy about that.
Constance: I am. What makes Bugatti growl makes me proud, Gabriel, and it makes me love my darling grandson more than ever.
Sage: May I take you to your room, Constance?
Constance: Sure.
Adam: You're so sweet. [Sighs] Damn mutt.
Victoria: You still have your medical license, don't you?
Stitch: Yeah, for now. My case is still pending at the state board, but what does that have to do with...
Victoria: I think when the hospital trustees find out that you're not responsible for your father's death, they'll want to readmit you into the residency program. Isn't that what you want?
Stitch: I'm a lot less concerned about my career right now than I am about the two of us.
Victoria: What are you asking me, Ben?
Stitch: How do you see me now?
[Door opens]
Billy: Hey. Someone couldn't wait to meet his new sister.
Jack: The other day Phyllis ran across the engagement ring I'd bought for her before her accident.
Kelly: That must have been awkward -- her thinking that you were gonna propose when really you were gonna tell her that it's over between you. You did tell her that, didn't you?
Jack: No, I didn't.
Kelly: You know, I-I understand. I just want you to know how much I love you, Jack.
Jack: Kelly, we need to --
Kelly: You know, even more so now that I have seen the way that you take care of Phyllis. You've been so protective and so supportive of her.
Jack: You have to understand about Phyllis and --
Kelly: I do understand that it's a miracle that she's back and doing so well. I mean, of course you wouldn't want to say anything that would upset her.
Jack: No, that's -- that's not it.
Kelly: You would worry that the thought of losing you to somebody else would devastate her, and I understand that you don't want to take that risk. I can wait. At least that's what I keep telling myself.
Jack: Please don't --
Kelly: No, it's okay. I am not gonna cry and I am not gonna get emotional and I am absolutely not gonna make you feel guilty. I'm just gonna hold on to the fact that I know that you love me and that as soon as Phyllis is better, we can be together again.
Jack: Kelly, Kelly, please listen to me. I told you I would never stop loving Phyllis. I never did. It was only after I'd given up all hope that Phyllis would recover that I began to believe that you and I might have a future.
Kelly: We can have a future, Jack.
Jack: We can't. See, the truth is --
Phyllis: Kelly, hi! Just the person I wanted to see! Oh, I hope I'm not interrupting a business meeting here. But the news I have is gonna trump everything else, isn't it, honey? Did Jack tell you? We're getting married.
Adam: You better fix this, okay? You keep that damn dog away from me before Constance gets wise.
Sage: I am not your doormat. Stop ordering me around.
Adam: Okay, look -- that wasn't my intention.
Sage: This house is not running by itself, okay? I have to help Constance. I did not help you to be kind.
Adam: You did it for Constance.
Sage: Yes, I did, to spare her the pain of losing her grandson.
Adam: For what other reason?
Sage: It has nothing to do --
Adam: Nothing to do with me. Yeah, I got it. We're there, right? But what other reason did you have for nursing me back from surgery, giving me Gabriel's name, his face, his life?
Sage: By helping you reclaim your life, I'm also giving Gabriel a chance to live again, too.
Adam: Okay. I see.
Sage: No. I wish you saw.
Adam: You think I'm blowing it, don't you?
Sage: Look, I've told you, being Gabriel Bingham is more than just having his face. That's what the dog sensed.
Adam: No, no. The dog sensed that I didn't smell and sound exactly like him.
Sage: It's more than that, and if you don't correct it, Constance is gonna see right through you. Can you afford that?
Adam: Okay. Educate me. Come on.
Sage: Gabriel was incredibly charming.
Adam: Okay, charming. Yeah, I got it.
Sage: No, it's not just an act, all right? Lots of men -- rich, powerful men -- they just like to talk about themselves.
Adam: But not the angelic Gabriel, right?
Sage: No, no. Gabriel was no angel. But he listened, especially to women. They responded.
Adam: [Sighs] Okay. Well, I will do whatever I have to do to get out of this house and get back to my family.
Billy: Oh, it's okay, buddy. Mommy's not sick.
Victoria: No, I'm not sick! I'm good! I've never felt better. And you know why? Your daddy's right -- you have a new baby sister.
Billy: Yeah, and speaking of, I promised him that we'd go down to the nursery and have a look at her.
Victoria: Oh, okay. And after that...
Billy: Yeah, the, uh -- the DNA-test thing. I guess you've already done it?
Stitch: Not yet, but I don't want to hold things up. I'll take care of it now. But I'll come back to see you later, okay?
Victoria: All right. Thank you, Ben.
Stitch: Hey, uh, look -- however this plays out...
Billy: Yeah. Same here, man.
Billy: Well, uh, I'll bring him back after I get done at the nursery.
Victoria: Okay. Thanks, Billy.
Chelsea: I'll, uh -- I'll catch up with you. I want a minute with the new mom.
Victoria: Yeah, I-I'd like that, too.
Billy: All right. Well, I guess it's just you and me, buddy.
Chelsea: Victoria, I --
Victoria: Chelsea, I -- you go ahead. Go first.
Chelsea: There's something you need to know.
Phyllis: We need an event planner, and I wouldn't think of using anyone else. With you in charge, Jack and I are gonna have a wedding that Genoa City will never forget.
Jack: We don't need to talk about this right now.
Phyllis: Well, we do need to talk about it because we have to make sure we have to get what we want, you know? I mean, the big day -- it's all about flash, details, and choices, right?
Jack: Phyllis --
Kelly: Right. All about choices.
Phyllis: [Chuckles] Men do not understand all the hard work it takes to make a perfect wedding. It's what every woman wants, even if she's been a bride before. I don't need to tell you that.
Kelly: No, you don't.
Phyllis: You must have done hundreds of weddings here at the club.
Jack: Kelly was just leaving. I don't think we should hold her up any longer.
Phyllis: Oh, I'm sorry. But I'll be quick. I just need a time to sit down with you and plot and plan. So, what's a good day for you?
Hilary: You know, as much as I love making love to you... I think I'm enjoying this almost as much.
Devon: Now, is that an insult or a compliment?
Hilary: It's a thank-you... for this, us being together and pretending to do things that real couples can do for real.
Devon: [Chuckles softly] You know, one day we won't have to pretend.
Hilary: Is that the real time? Oh, my God. It is.
Devon: Stay five more minutes.
Hilary: No, I-I can't. I can't afford it. My God -- and work. [Sighs]
Devon: How much work do you have to do?
Hilary: It's okay. You know what? I'll just wake up early tomorrow and crank it out.
Devon: So... that's it for us tonight?
Hilary: [Sighs] I wish it didn't have to be this way. We have to return to reality, right?
Devon: Yeah. What are we gonna do about Thanksgiving with the family?
Hilary: You have to make me a promise.
Devon: Oh, yeah? What promise is that?
Hilary: You have to promise me that you won't look at me the way that you look at me.
Devon: That's impossible. I'm worried about what happens after Thanksgiving.
Hilary: Black Friday?
Devon: Doomsday Tuesday or Wednesday or whatever day it is when lily wants to have that lunch and meet my girlfriend.
Hilary: Oh, that.
Devon: Yeah. I'll have to find somebody to stand in. Maybe I can get one of those old models I used to know.
Hilary: [Chuckles] No, no, no. No way. All right? No. I am gonna pick the woman of your dreams.
Chelsea: I want you to know I'm really happy for you, Victoria.
Victoria: You are?
Chelsea: Of course. I know how much you wanted this pregnancy, how hard you tried to have another baby, and now you have this sweet little girl.
Victoria: She's really sweet and beautiful. Thank you for saying that, especially since things might get tough on you if --
Chelsea: If the baby turns out to be Billy's.
Victoria: How will you handle that?
Chelsea: Any child of Billy's will always be welcome in our home.
Victoria: Good. I'm glad to hear that.
Chelsea: I'm gonna go catch up to them, so... I love him, you know. Maybe you don't want to hear that right now, but isn't it better to know that I actually care about him, that -- that I'm not using him to forget about Adam?
Billy: Hey.
Victoria: Where's Johnny?
Billy: Oh, he's with a nurse who's holding him up to the nursery window.
Chelsea: I'll go relieve the nurse.
Billy: Hey. You okay?
Mr. Abbott?
Billy: Uh, yeah?
If you're ready...
Victoria: Yeah. Go ahead. The sooner we get this over with, the sooner we'll know.
Billy: Right.
Jack: You can call lily later in the week to make any arrangements you want.
Phyllis: Honey, we shouldn't wait or we're not gonna get the date we want or the band or the flowers.
Stitch: Hey, sorry to interrupt the conversation. I just need to speak to Kelly.
Kelly: What's -- what's up? Is it about mom?
Stitch: Yeah. She snuck out of the hospital.
Kelly: What?!
Stitch: Didn't tell a soul -- just up and left.
Kelly: What is she thinking? Um, okay. Did you -- did you -- have you checked her room?
Stitch: I-it's empty. She left a note.
Phyllis: I'm sorry to hear about your mother. Kelly, Jack's right. Our plans can wait. Let's go home.
Jack: Can I help? Do you want me to stay or --
Kelly: No, Jack. You leave with your fiancée.
Jack: I have resources that can help look for your mother.
Kelly: Goodbye, Jack.
Phyllis: Come on.
Stitch: You want to tell me what all that was about?
Kelly: I-I-I got to get out of here.
Stitch: Hey, I-I need to tell you something, Kelly, first, okay?
Kelly: Oh, no, no, Ben, please.
Stitch: Look, I would wait, but I don't want you to hear it from someone else. It's gonna change my life and yours.
Victoria: [Sighs]
Billy: Well, it's done.
Victoria: Yeah. [Chuckles] Now comes the hard part.
Billy: Waiting for the test results?
Victoria: [Sighs]
Billy: Are you nervous?
Victoria: Are you?
Billy: [Chuckling] Hell, yes.
Victoria: Yeah? So am I.
Billy: Can you believe this?
Victoria: That I would be in a hospital after giving birth, waiting for the lab results to tell me whether you or Ben or the father? That, uh -- that would be a big "no."
Billy: Yeah. Look, um... whatever happens, whoever wins the lab lottery here... I want you to know that you can always count on me.
Victoria: Thank you. Ah, there's my boy!
Billy: Hey!
Victoria: Hey!
Billy: How'd you like your little sister, huh?
Victoria: Thank you so much for bringing him by, even though it's past his bedtime.
Billy: Yeah, mommy's right. We need to get you home.
Victoria: I can't wait to see you playing with your new baby sister.
Billy: I think he's looking forward to that, too.
Victoria: Hey...thanks again. Good night. Bye, baby. [Sighs]
Billy: Okay. Here we go.
Victoria: Bye.
Adam: Chelsea!
Constance: You were screaming, and I was worried.
Adam: Oh. Uh... sorry...about that. I had a bad dream. Sorry to disturb you.
Constance: Not at all. When you were a little boy and had those nightmares, you always came to my room. You'd crawl up onto my bed. What was the name of that poem I used to recite for you -- the one that always made you smile and forget your bad dreams?
Adam: I d-- you know, I mean, that was a long time ago, grandmother. I-I don't --
Constance: It was a lifetime ago, really. So, tell me -- who is this Chelsea?
Kelly: You know what, Ben? At this point, there is nothing you can say that could shock me.
Stitch: Even if I've been lying to you for years?
Kelly: What are you talking about?
Stitch: I didn't kill dad, Kelly.
Kelly: What are you saying?
Stitch: I didn't do it.
Kelly: But you confessed, Ben. They locked you up.
Stitch: I did it to protect someone.
Kelly: Who?
Stitch: I was a minor. I thought they'd -- I thought they'd take it easy on me.
Kelly: That's not -- that's not possible, Ben. Is this mom's note?
Stitch: She wanted me to tell you the truth. After you -- after you went away, dad became more abusive.
Kelly: Abusive?! Dad was never abusive!
Stitch: Oh, he was, Kel. I'm telling you, he was. The night it happened, we got in a huge fight. I took off. Mom -- she -- she couldn't take it anymore.
Kelly: I don't understand what you're saying. Dad was not abusive.
Stitch: He was. He abused her, Kelly, for years. She just hid it from you.
Kelly: I'm so sorry. [Crying] I didn't know. She never told me! I didn't now. How could you do that? You were so -- they took you away. They locked you up. You were her own son! How could she do that?! How could she be so selfish?! [Crying]
Phyllis: Kelly must be worried sick about her mother.
Jack: Yeah.
Phyllis: Did you notice she was a little distracted before she found out about her mom?
Jack: You caught her off guard, announcing our -- our engagement the way you did.
Phyllis: Well, why would that bother her?
Jack: Think of it. She just spent the night in her mother's hospital room, praying she'd survive surgery. You come in, waltzing in, ramped up about marriage and wedding plans.
Phyllis: I suppose that was overwhelming to her, yeah.
Jack: I just wish you'd kept that news to yourself.
Phyllis: I couldn't wait. I'm so excited. I'm so in love. Aren't you? Hey, 'fess up, fiancé. You still want to marry me? Speak now, Jack Abbott, or forever hold your peace.
Hilary: Okay. Fantasy over. We have to go.
Devon: Right. You ready?
Hilary: You know, maybe -- maybe we should leave separately.
Devon: Yeah. [Clears throat] [Sighs]
Sage: Are you having that dream again?
Constance: He was yelling for Chelsea.
Adam: Uh, she was asking me who Chelsea was, so...
Sage: Oh, Chelsea isn't a person -- it's a place. Don't you remember when Gabriel lived in London during his college year abroad?
Constance: He lived in Chelsea.
Sage: He did! And you loved that bohemian life there, didn't you?
Adam: Well, with so many women to charm, how could I not?
Constance: Oh, my memory is not as good as it used to be, but I do remember how happy you were then, Gabriel -- your whole life before you.
Adam: Well, it still is.
Constance: That is my boy.
Adam: You have a good night, okay?
Constance: No more bad dreams, okay?
Adam: No. No. You know what I'm gonna do? I'm gonna dream about you.
Constance: Ohh!
Adam: How 'bout that?
Constance: What a great idea.
Adam: All good stuff.
Constance: Let me know how it goes.
Adam: Okay.
Constance: I can't wait to hear the story.
Sage: You go to bed, and you -- I'm gonna take you back to your room.
Constance: Oh, I don't want to go.
Sage: [Laughs]
Chelsea: All settled in. You tired?
Billy: Exhausted, but I can't sleep, so... do you want one?
Chelsea: No, thanks.
Billy: You've got to be wiped out. Why don't you go on up?
Chelsea: I'd rather be here with you.
Billy: [Sighs] I've got to be honest. It's getting to me, Chels -- these test results.
Chelsea: Well, the lab's not gonna have the results before morning, so...
Billy: Yeah, it's gonna be a long, long night.
Chelsea: Well, maybe there's a way I can ease your anxiety.
Billy: Yeah? How?
Chelsea: How about... this?
Billy: Have I told you how great it is to have you with me, to know that I'm not going through this alone?
Chelsea: I know what it's like to feel alone. Luckily, you and I -- we don't have to feel that way ever again.
Jack: No doubts, no second thoughts, no regrets. I love you. I belong with you.
Phyllis: Why? Because I stood by you when you came off the pills? That's not a good enough reason, Jack.
Jack: Well, thank God that's not the reason.
Phyllis: Then why?
Jack: When I'm with you, I am more alive... than I've ever been with anyone.
Phyllis: Anyone?
Jack: I have to prove myself to you?
Phyllis: Every day and every night -- especially every night. Okay?
Stitch: Let me take you somewhere to get some rest.
Kelly: No.
Stitch: Then I'll go look for mom.
Kelly: No. No. Ben, you let her go.
Stitch: Okay, I know you're angry about this.
Kelly: Are you kidding me -- what she did?
Stitch: We can't run off our mom, Kel. In spite of everything she's done, she --
Kelly: Ben, you have spent your entire life protecting her. You need to take care of yourself now, okay? And I have to do the same thing, obviously, 'cause nobody is gonna help us out.
Stitch: Kelly... what else happened tonight?
Kelly: You know what? I don't want to talk about it, and I don't want you to worry about me, okay? You need to go out there and get the life that was taken away from you or make yourself a whole new, beautiful, better life. That's all you should be thinking about. That's all that matters.
Victoria: What beautiful eyes you have. Are they like Ben's... or Billy's?
