Episode # 10538 ~ Kelly wants answers from Jack, while Devon calls Colin's bluff.
Provided By Suzanne
Nikki: Bonnie?
Victor: My baby is back.
Nikki: Hi.
Victor: [Sighs contentedly] Now that we put all the troubles behind us, I think we should celebrate.
Victoria: She is so beautiful.
Billy: Yeah, she is.
Stitch: She looks just like her mom.
Billy: [Chuckles] Good thing.
Victoria: Born in a parking garage -- at Jabot, of all places.
Billy: Yeah. You might want to gloss over that little detail when Victor arrives.
Victoria: Hey... did I thank you both for -- for delivering her?
Billy: It's no big deal.
Victoria: No big deal? That's not exactly what your face said when you told me the ambulance wasn't coming fast enough. Actually, it's a huge deal.
Billy: Yeah, well, fortunately, stitch was there to back me up, so...
Stitch: Oh, I was glad I-I could help you out.
Victoria: I'm glad that you both were there. You're a lucky little girl -- two people willing to do whatever it took to bring you into the world.
Both: Three.
Victoria: [Sighs]
Billy: What's going on?
Stitch: Get her doctor.
Billy: Right.
Victoria: Ben...
Stitch: Take it easy, Vick. Everything's gonna be okay.
Jack: I'll need those reports by the end of the week. Oh, and cancel my trip to Chicago. I don't have time for that right now.
Hilary: Yep. Not a problem.
Jack: W-wait. See if you can get Doug Cosgrove to take my place.
Hilary: Got it.
Jack: And get him all the information he needs for the presentation.
Hilary: Yep. I will attach it to the e-mail with his itinerary.
Jack: Yeah. Don't forget to copy ash.
Hilary: Of course. So, anything else?
Jack: No, that's about it.
Hilary: Okay. So, I'll take care of this in the morning, if you don't mind.
Jack: Yeah, sure.
Hilary: Okay. So, if that's everything, I'm gonna...
Jack: Okay. What, you got a hot date?
Neil: If so, I hope it's with me.
Jack: Hey!
Neil: Hey, Jack, Hilary. Hey, what's wrong with you, man? You never used to work your employees such long hours before. What happened?
Jack: I didn't realize I was doing that now.
Neil: Well, maybe you can cut my beautiful wife some slack. Hi, baby. Let me -- let me treat her to dinner, huh?
Hilary: Oh, Neil, I can't. I have a meeting.
Jack: Well, whatever it is, I'm sure I can handle it.
Hilary: No. Uh...
Devon: Thanks. This is perfect.
Colin: Bonjour, Devon. Planning a big night, are we?
Devon: Yeah, I am. I'm a little busy, too.
Colin: I'm sure. I have a conversation, though, I think I'd like to finish with you.
Devon: It's not the best time.
Colin: A place like this -- bet it takes a lot of work.
Devon: Sure does.
Colin: I wonder if your dad knows just how hands on you really are around here and whether I shouldn't tell him.
Devon: You can go on and tell him what you want.
Colin: You know, while we're having a chat... he might find out all kinds of things.
Devon: Like?
Colin: Please. Don't make me say it.
Devon: I'm not really sure what you're talking about.
Colin: You're having sex with his wife. I found this little secret out accidentally, and I've been agonizing over what to do with the information. I think I've come to a decision.
Victor: Shall I have bonnie fix us a special dinner, sweetheart?
Nikki: Uh, I don't really feel like celebrating tonight.
Victor: Okay. I mean, I know that you were upset about some of the methods I used to expose Sharon for who she was, but I think it all worked out, don't you?
Nikki: You were right. Sharon was keeping some very damaging things from Nicholas. It needed to come out.
Victor: Now do you see that? So, then, you agree? That means we can get back to how things were before all this disruption.
Nikki: Victor, I hope so. I-I want that more than anything.
Victor: Come here. What is it, my sweetheart? What?
Nikki: I just... I-I-I've just realized what a toll these last few months have taken on me.
Victor: I know you don't want me to bring it up... but is it your M.S.? I mean, are the symptoms getting worse?
Nikki: No. I have that under control.
Victor: Then what is it? I don't want any more distance between us.
Nikki: Neither do I, Victor. Neither do I.
Victor: I don't want you and I to be upset anymore, okay? I mean, I know that people are criticizing me -- and I don't give a damn -- for the methods I used to protect my family. I really don't want to hurt you, okay? That would upset me.
Nikki: It's not just you. I'm to blame, too.
Hilary: Jack, I-I can't let you take my meeting for me. You have so much on your plate already, and, besides, this is something that I have to do myself.
Jack: Neil came all the way into town to take you to dinner.
Hilary: Yes, he did, even though I told him that I'd be home late because of work.
Neil: Oh, yeah. You did say that. I'm sorry. I-I should have remembered that you said that.
Hilary: Oh, no. It's okay. I know you were practicing your Braille. I shouldn't have disturbed you. I'm sorry.
Neil: No, don't you apologize. I'm the one who's sorry. Baby, I get it. You know, you're making your contacts. You're building your relationships. You're doing all this for your career. I understand that more than anyone. I'm sure you spent a lot of time prepping for this meeting, so...
Hilary: Yeah, I did.
Jack: To be honest, I'm not even sure who the meeting's with.
Neil: Well, I think what's important is that this young lady knows who the meeting's with. So, you go, baby. Don't worry about me. I'm fine, all right?
Hilary: Okay. I'll make it up to you.
Neil: Yeah. Okay.
Hilary: All right. I'll see ya.
Neil: Okay. All right. Bye, baby.
Hilary: Bye, Jack.
Jack: Bye.
Neil: Hey, Jack -- ha ha! -- What a dimepiece she is, right? She's sexy. She's gorgeous. I'm a lucky guy.
Jack: Yeah, she is all that.
Neil: Yeah. You, on the other hand -- you look like hell. It's just an educated guess, man. You're an open book -- no Braille required here.
Jack: So, is this the part where you tell me you can read my mind?
Neil: I am a little bit psychic, but no. This is the part where I ask you how you're doing since hurricane Phyllis blew into town.
Jack: I'm still standing, Neil.
Neil: Yeah? Well, you're doing better than some. I heard that she leveled Sharon, and I can't imagine what her return has done to -- to Kelly.
Jack: Kelly's all right for the time being, but only because she doesn't know the truth.
Neil: Which is what?
Jack: I'm getting back together with Phyllis.
Neil: So, where does that leave Kelly?
Jack: [Sighs]
Kelly: Excuse me. Hi. Um, how's my mom? Is she awake?
Not yet.
Kelly: Well, can you tell me how the surgery went? They said it was a routine bypass.
Dr. Meltzer will be here soon to tell you everything.
Kelly: Is she okay?
The doctor will fill you in.
Jack: Kelly, it's me. I spoke to Phyllis, and... I need to see you. Call me.
Billy: What's going on, doc?
Dr. Sternin: Why don't you take the baby?
Billy: Yeah. Yeah. That's a girl. Whoa. Is she okay?
Dr. Sternin: Well, for someone who went through significant blood loss during a traumatic delivery, she's doing well, but I agree we can up her fluid intake, and she could use some rest. Stacy's gonna take the baby up to the nursery.
Billy: Uh, yeah.
Dr. Sternin: And you two -- you might want to give Victoria some time alone, as well. I'll be back to check on you.
Victoria: Thanks, Andrea.
Stitch: Thanks.
Billy: Well, you heard the doc.
Stitch: Yeah. I'm pretty sure she meant both of us.
Billy: Hey, um, I'll be -- I'll be right outside.
Stitch: Me, too.
Victoria: Ben, wait. Can I talk to you alone?
Abby: Billy, hey, hey! I got here as fast as I could. I had to wait for Hannah.
Billy: Johnny's okay?
Abby: Fine. Fine, yes, but how -- how are they? I want to hear about the baby. I can't believe it's here -- she's here -- and it's a girl! Oh, my gosh! How are they?
Billy: Well, Vicki's pretty worn out, but they're both doing okay.
Abby: Okay? She gave birth in a parking garage.
Billy: Yeah, I know. I was there.
Abby: All right. Well, sit down. Give me the highlights.
Billy: You know, Abby, I'm really not in the mood. I mean, the most important part is that Vicki and the baby are doing okay.
Abby: Mm. I guess you're right. But all of those birthing classes -- months of preparation, hours of breathing and visualizing, downloading the perfect music, trying to find a pillow that wasn't too hard or too soft -- after all of that, Victoria goes and has the baby without me.
Billy: Yeah. I don't know what she was thinking.
Abby: Well, I'm glad if I couldn't be there, you were, at least.
Billy: Yeah. So was stitch, and he's in there right now.
Abby: What? Billy, what the hell is wrong with you?
Stitch: Whatever you have to say to me, I'm sure it can wait.
Victoria: No, actually. This can't.
Stitch: Okay. What is it?
Victoria: I know.
Stitch: [Chuckles] You know? [Chuckles] What is it -- what is it you know?
Victoria: I know that you didn't kill your father, Ben.
Stitch: H-how would -- how would -- how would you know that?
Victoria: Maureen.
Stitch: She told you that?
Victoria: I came to Jabot to find you, and she was in the lab. I told her that I thought you were innocent, and she got upset. She said it wasn't true.
Stitch: You saw my mom at Jabot?
Victoria: I thought that Kelly killed your father, but then Maureen...finally admitted that it was her.
Stitch: Then what happened?
Victoria: I went to get in my car. I just wanted to tell somebody what happened, and, um...
Stitch: She followed you to the parking garage.
Victoria: She said that she was afraid I was gonna ruin her life and she couldn't let me.
Stitch: Oh, my God. She's the one who locked you in the closet, isn't she?
Colin: Stuff happens, and I'm the last person to pass judgment.
Devon: What do you want, Colin?
Colin: I want the kind of peace of mind that $2 million is gonna buy me.
Devon: $2 million?
Colin: Yeah. It should be twice the price to protect your father. I mean, you won't miss it. It's a win-win.
Devon: Yeah. I mean, unless something bad would happen and you got arrested for blackmail, 'cause that is a class "h" felony in this state. And that makes me wonder, too, 'cause you got a great thing going with Jill, and it makes no sense why you'd want to risk losing that and going to jail.
Colin: Touché. Uh, I didn't realize you were so well versed in the law.
Devon: Well, now you do. But tell me what's going on. What is it? Do you have financial problems? I mean, it's got to be bad for you to resort to trying to blackmail me.
Colin: "Blackmail" is such an ugly word. I prefer, uh, "quid pro quo."
Devon: Oh. Well, you can call it whatever you want to, but you don't want to do this to me.
Colin: You're right. I don't want to be doing it to you. And so I think the best thing is for me just to tell Neil the truth.
Jack: It wasn't fair, letting Kelly give her heart to me. I knew how hard it was for her. I knew everything she'd been through since Sam, and I let her do it anyway. So selfish. I didn't even think about what it would do to her if -- well, if this happened. Or maybe I did and I just didn't care.
Neil: Whoa. Jack, Jack, come on.
Jack: In the end, it's the same result. Kelly is gonna have her heart torn out again, and just thinking about that makes me sick.
Neil: Little advice -- you can't keep putting this off, man. You don't -- you don't want her to hear it from somebody else, do you?
Jack: No, you're right. No, I have to do it.
Neil: Okay. When you do talk to her, if you want to talk to me afterwards, you know where you can find me.
Jack: Thanks, buddy. It does help me to talk to you.
Neil: That goes both ways, Jack.
Jack: So, tell me what's going on in your life.
Neil: Guess I'm okay, under the circumstances.
Jack: Yeah? Does that mean you've given up hope of regaining your eyesight?
Neil: Guess I'm just trying to be realistic.
Jack: How's that going?
Neil: I'd be lying if I didn't say that some days -- no, no, a lot of days -- I want a drink.
Jack: I hear you there.
Neil: Hey... I'm gonna get through this. I got to be strong. I firmly believe that no matter what, I have to be strong.
Jack: Yeah.
[Cell phone rings]
Jack: Oh, let me deal with this real quick. Oh, it's Kelly.
Neil: Oh. You want me to leave?
Jack: No. No. I'm not gonna do this over the phone. Hi, Kelly.
Kelly: Jack. I --
Jack: Hey. Is everything all right?
Kelly: It's my mom. She's had a heart attack.
Jack: Oh, God. Where are you now?
Kelly: Memorial.
Jack: Okay. I'm on my way.
Victor: Couples argue. There's no point in assigning blame now.
Nikki: I accused you of not being there for me so many times, but... I pushed you away, too.
Victor: Well, my sweetheart... I've kept certain things from you, too, okay?
Nikki: I hate when we keep things from each other.
Victor: So do I.
Nikki: It all started when Katherine died.
Victor: Is that what this is all about -- about Dylan, when you and Paul went searching for him?
Nikki: Well, that and --
Victor: And what?
Nikki: [Crying] Victor, I'm just so sorry. I'm sorry. [Crying continues]
Victor: Sweetheart... I don't want you to feel sorry for anything. We both have made mistakes. We both admit to it. So, now we're starting again on solid ground, okay?
Narrator: [Sniffles]
[Cell phone rings]
Nikki: Okay. Go ahead. It's okay.
Victor: Are you sure?
Nikki: I'm fine. I'm sorry. I'm okay.
Victor: Yes? Victor Newman. Did you send me the last accounting statement?
Colin: Keeping what I know to myself about you and Hilary just kind of stinks. I think I've got to tell Neil.
Devon: Yeah. By all means, you go ahead and tell Neil what you think you know. And, uh, I'll go ahead and tell Jill and cane what I think about your financial problems -- the ones that are so damn bad that you are trying to blackmail me.
Colin: You're playing a dangerous game here, kid.
Devon: Oh, so are you, mate.
Colin: Yeah, but I'm a pro. You're an amateur. You've got more to lose.
Devon: Do I? You let me know if I can do anything else for you, all right?
Hilary: He knows, doesn't he?
Devon: He doesn't have any proof.
Hilary: But he suspects something. What if he tells cane or Neil?
Devon: He's not gonna do anything 'cause he wants money and I told him he's not gonna get anything.
Hilary: I cannot believe this.
Devon: Listen to me. I am not gonna let that lowlife hurt Neil or you. All right?
Abby: What ever happened to the idea of doing whatever it takes to be with the person that you love? And don't tell me you don't love Victoria.
Billy: [Sighs] Abby, it doesn't matter.
Abby: Of course it matters. Love is everything, and you and Victoria have the kind of love that the rest of us just dream about. And now you're out here and she's in there with him. Don't you want her back?
Billy: I know that this is a concept that is very hard for you to grasp, but it's not about me. Victoria just gave birth in a parking garage, and she and the baby both survived. I can't think past that right now.
Abby: Well, you're gonna have to, or else stitch is gonna take both of them away from you and you're gonna wake up one day, wondering why the hell you let that happen and why you're with Adam's ex, who, I'm sure, is just thrilled you helped deliver Victoria's baby.
Billy: Oh, Chelsea.
Abby: She doesn't know?
Billy: I just got so wrapped up with everything with Vicki and the baby that I totally forgot to call. And then there's Nikki and Victor.
Abby: Oh! Well, that takes care of one problem. Now you go take care of the other, okay? Tell Chelsea the good news.
Billy: [Chuckles]
Jack: Billy.
Billy: Jack. How did you find out?
Jack: Kelly called me.
Billy: About Victoria?
Jack: No. Kelly's mother had a heart attack.
Billy: What?!
Jack: What's wrong with Victoria? She okay?
Billy: She had the baby -- a little girl.
Jack: Fantastic. I'm so happy. Everybody okay?
Billy: Mother and child are fine.
Jack: And you?
Billy: It's been a long night -- uh, a long year. You know, Jack, just when I started feeling like I was picking up the pieces and moving on, I-I got one look at that little girl's face, and --
Jack: And all those feelings you had for Victoria came flooding back.
Billy: It doesn't change anything, Jack.
Jack: I've been telling myself the same thing. You can't do that for too long.
Stitch: Hey. Is mom back from surgery yet?
Kelly: Uh, yeah, but she hasn't woken up yet.
Stitch: Damn.
Kelly: Hey, is everything okay? Did you find Victoria?
Stitch: Yeah, I found her.
Kelly: Oh. Well, good. So, you talked. Did you say everything you had to say?
Stitch: No, I didn't get a chance. By the time I got to her, she was in labor.
Kelly: Oh! So, she had her baby?
Stitch: Yeah, a little girl. I delivered her -- with Billy's help.
Kelly: Uh, wow. That must have been --
Stitch: Yeah, well, you haven't heard the best part yet. Victoria delivered her baby in the Jabot parking garage.
Kelly: How did that happen?
Stitch: It happened because of our mom. She locked Victoria in a janitor's closet.
Kelly: Why would she do that?
Abby: You know, when we discussed a wilderness birth, a parking garage wasn't exactly what I had in mind.
Victoria: [Chuckles] Yeah, I know. It wasn't my first choice.
Abby: Well, I was really looking forward to being your coach, but you did okay without me. I guess I forgive you.
Victoria: Thank you.
[Both laugh]
Abby: Um, I am gonna go take a sneak peek at my new niece and start letting people know that you had your baby. Apparently, people don't know yet.
Victoria: Um, okay. Just do me a favor and keep it out of the tabloids, okay?
Abby: GC Buzz won't hear it from me.
Victoria: Thank you.
Abby: Congratulations.
Victoria: I love you.
Abby: I love you. Hey...don't screw this up.
Nikki: Did you get all your business taken care of?
Victor: Yep. What have we got here?
Nikki: Oh, just an old photo album, looking at all the wonderful times we've had here at the ranch.
Victor: Look at that. Well, we will have wonderful times again, okay? You know, thanksgiving is around the corner. I want both our children and grandchildren to come and have dinner with us.
Nikki: Oh, I really hope Nicholas is up to it.
Victor: Oh, he will.
Nikki: Well, he put all of his heart and soul into a new life with Sharon, and to have this happen -- you know, he told me he's filing for full custody of faith.
Victor: Well, I'm very glad to hear that.
Nikki: I think we ought to give faith a lot of extra attention. She really needs it right now, poor little thing.
Victor: Well, my baby, I don't want any of our grandchildren to suffer any more harm.
Abby: Oh. Well, make that all three of your granddaughters.
Nikki: Abby, hi!
Abby: Hello! I come bearing news -- good news! Victoria had her baby.
Nikki: What?!
Abby: It's a girl!
Nikki: [Gasps] Oh, my God!
Victor: She did what?
Abby: Tonight -- a few hours ago!
Nikki: How is -- how is she? How's the baby?
Abby: They're both fine.
Nikki: Ohh!
Victor: Well, wait a minute. I'll have the driver bring up my car.
Abby: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Dad, where are you going?
Victor: I'm going to the hospital, sweetheart, to see Victoria.
Nikki: We have to see the baby!
Abby: I think Victoria has all the support she needs right now.
Nikki: What?
Billy: You know, being born in a parking garage might inspire your daughter to want to be a mechanic one day.
Victoria: Um, actually, I think dad might have some different career choices in mind for her.
Billy: In that case, I'm signing her up for shop class tomorrow.
Victoria: You want to do me a favor? You want to get this out of your system before my dad comes to visit?
Billy: No. Truth is I-I really don't care what she grows up to be. I'm just glad she's here. I know how much you wanted another baby.
Victoria: So did you. I didn't think it was gonna happen. It almost didn't.
Billy: You were amazing.
Victoria: You were amazing.
Billy: Yeah, well, don't tell stitch, but he was pretty handy in there.
Victoria: Yeah. Hey, uh, look, about that -- I-I just wanted to explain the reason I asked you to leave. It's just I needed to talk to Ben about something that affects him.
Billy: I don't care. I don't.
Victoria: Okay.
Billy: I just care about you and this baby. And you're both okay.
Victoria: We're fine.
Billy: You know, when I was holding her... I couldn't help but think about, um...
Victoria: Delia.
Billy: Yeah. You, uh -- you remember how she came into this world? [Chuckles] What is it with you women, always having to make these dramatic entrances?
Victoria: I don't know. It must have been like déjà vu for you.
Billy: Yeah, in more ways than one. I was looking down at this... tiny new life, and I saw hope... and the possibilities for a new beginning.
Kelly: Why would mom lock Victoria in a janitor's closet? The woman's pregnant, for crying out loud -- I mean, with, possibly, her grandchild!
Stitch: Kel, mom's been through a lot.
Kelly: What, besides this heart attack?
Stitch: Something happened a long time ago, okay? I'd rather wait and let her explain it to you herself.
Kelly: Why can't you just tell me? Why do I have to wait to hear it from her?
Stitch: That's all I can say about it right now, okay?
Kelly: More trouble from mom -- why doesn't that surprise me? You realize ever since I was little, all I felt for that woman was resentment? Like, she was so jealous of my relationship with dad, she did everything she possibly could to keep us apart.
Stitch: I'm sure she had her reasons.
Kelly: Yeah, well, whatever they were, she wouldn't tell me, no matter how many times I asked. I -- what was I supposed to do? I just gave up.
Stitch: To be fair, I think she tried to reach out to you after Sam died.
Kelly: Well, that's just a little bit too little, too late. The damage was done. We just couldn't connect. And you know what's so ironic? When I heard she had this heart attack, I got this sick feeling in my stomach like I was gonna lose another person that I love. How crazy is that? How could I possibly lose something that I never had?
Jack: I got here as soon as I could. How's your mom?
Kelly: Jack, I'm so glad you're here. God, I need you so much.
Hilary: I knew he was up to something. When he showed up to my work, he was making all these innuendoes about us. God, he must have seen us -- oh, my God, Devon. He must have seen us going to that hotel room together.
Devon: Well, even if he did, he has no proof. Hey, look at me. I hate this. I hate what it's doing to Neil, I hate what it's doing to you, but know it's 'cause I love you.
Hilary: I love you, too, but this is a mess. Colin knows about us -- Colin, Jill's husband, cane's father. Devon...
Devon: What?
Hilary: ...Maybe you should just give him the money.
Devon: No, 'cause it would never end. He would keep coming back for more. This is the way to go.
Hilary: Maybe not. Maybe there's another way to end this.
Colin: Hey, Neil.
Neil: Hey.
Colin: Come here, man. I'd love to have a talk with you about that wonderful wife of yours.
Neil: Oh.
[Both chuckle]
Victoria: Oh, dad, the baby and I are just fine.
Victor: Sweetheart, you gave birth in a parking garage! Obviously, your mother and I are concerned.
Victoria: There's no reason to be. The baby, your new granddaughter, is beautiful and fine, and I'm just a little tired.
Victor: Is Billy Abbott harassing you? If that's the case, I'll send hospital security.
Victoria: That's not necessary, dad.
Nikki: All right. Well, I won't sleep a wink tonight, but we'll wait till tomorrow to come and see you and the baby.
Victoria: Okay. Thanks.
Victor: And you call us if you need anything else, all right?
Victoria: I'm good.
Nikki: We love you, sweetheart.
Victoria: I love you, too. Bye. Sorry about that.
Billy: It's all right. You know it's gonna be worse once he sees the baby. He's not gonna be able to help falling in love with her.
Victoria: Oh, I know. Thank you.
Billy: For what?
Victoria: You know, for not asking questions that I don't have answers to, for being here in spite of that. Both of you, thank you.
Stitch: You're welcome.
Dr. Sternin: It's dinnertime. Hi. Hi, baby. Ohh. Yes. Oh, my goodness. Yes.
Victoria: Hi, baby.
Dr. Sternin: Why don't we give mother and daughter some time to bond?
Victoria: Yes. Yes.
Billy: Yeah. Yeah. We found Victoria. Um, it's kind of a long story, but, uh, she had the baby. Yeah. Yeah. They're both okay. Um, listen, I don't know what time I'm gonna be home, but I've got a lot to tell you, and I'll, uh -- I'll fill you in when I get there. Right. Right. Me, too.
Stitch: [Exhaling sharply]
Billy: Listen, uh, I'm gonna hang around, so if you want to go...
Stitch: Oh, I'm staying.
Billy: Right.
Stitch: Yeah.
Hilary: We have to tell Neil the truth about us, Devon.
Devon: I thought you didn't want to tell him because you were afraid he wouldn't be able to handle it.
Hilary: How do you think he's gonna handle it if he found out?
Devon: Then we have to make sure that he finds out when we're ready to tell him.
Neil: Why would Hilary have a problem with you joining us for our family thanksgiving celebration?
Colin: I know she's into a lot of this web-based research, and, you know, you've got to be careful what you read there. I know she doesn't believe it all, but I want to get across that a leopard can change his spots, you know?
Neil: Well, of course. Um, if anyone understands that, it's my girl Hilary. I'll talk to her for you, Colin. Maybe there's something that we can --
Colin: Well, look who's here.
Hilary: Neil.
Neil: Who's that?
Hilary: Hi.
Neil: Hilary?
Hilary: Mm. Mmm.
Neil: Honey, I didn't know that your business meeting was here.
Hilary: Yeah.
Colin: Yeah, I saw that meeting with the associate. It looked pretty intense.
Jack: The nurse said your mother's surgery went well.
Kelly: Oh, yeah, it did. It did. Sorry. I've just been here alone, imagining all kinds of things.
Jack: I'm sorry I wasn't here for you.
Kelly: No, it's okay. I remember you went to talk to Phyllis. Did you find her?
Jack: Yeah, I talked to her.
Kelly: Good. Did you tell her about us?
Jack: I told Phyllis that I'd started seeing someone while she was still in the coma.
Kelly: Oh, sweetie, I know this is so hard for you.
Jack: I hate hurting someone I care this much about... especially when I know all that she's been through.
Kelly: Hey, look -- Phyllis is strong. Remember that. She's got a lot of people who love her.
Jack: Kelly... do you have --
Your mother's awake.
Kelly: Oh!
She's still groggy, but you can go in.
Kelly: Oh, thank you. Hey, can we finish this later?
Jack: Sure.
Kelly: Okay. I love you.
Abby: Dad, there's nothing to worry about. Victoria's in good hands.
Victor: She's in good hands?
Abby: Yes. [Chuckles]
Victor: With Billy Abbott by her side? That waste of space should not be there.
Abby: Daddy, that waste of space helped deliver your granddaughter.
Nikki: Let's all remember that he may be the father of her baby.
Abby: Look, I know that this baby can never replace Delia, but I think the fact that it's a girl is a sign from the universe that Billy and Victoria belong together.
Victor: Abby, I don't believe in signs, okay? And I do not believe that Billy Abbott should be with Victoria.
Abby: Well, would you rather see her with a man who murdered his own father?
Victor: Neither of those two men are worthy of Victoria, okay?
Nikki: Well, like it or not, one of them's about to be tied to her forever.
Victor: [Sighs] We'll see about that.
Dr. Sternin: I know you're both anxious about this situation, but try not to put too much pressure on Victoria right now. Just give her some time to sort everything out, okay?
Dr. Sternin: Okay. It's just us. Do you want to talk now?
Victoria: Um... you want to talk? About what -- the name?
Dr. Sternin: [Chuckles] Well, do you have one picked out yet?
Victoria: First or last?
Dr. Sternin: Well, her dad's probably gonna want to weigh in on both.
Victoria: Yeah, I know.
Dr. Sternin: Victoria, can I offer you some friendly unsolicited advice?
Victoria: I think I already know what it is.
Dr. Sternin: Those two men out there -- they deserve to know which one of them is the father.
Victoria: You know what? I think I deserve to know, too.
Devon: Hey, Neil.
Neil: Hey!
Devon: Hey.
Neil: Devon!
Devon: I didn't know you'd be coming in tonight.
Neil: Well, I was just on my own. I thought I'd have some dinner. I really didn't realize that Hilary would be here for her business meeting.
Colin: It seems like this is the place in Genoa City for business... and pleasure.
Neil: Colin, this man right here, Devon -- he has one hell of an operation here.
Colin: Oh, he does, indeed.
Neil: Yeah. I was just talking to Colin about thanksgiving. I told him I'd you if he could come over and possibly join us for the festivities. What do you say, baby?
Hilary: That's not a problem at all.
Neil: See there? What'd I tell you?
Colin: You know, I look forward to joining such a close family.
Neil: Speaking of family, since we're all here, why don't we just sit down and have some dinner, huh?
Hilary: No. No.
Colin: Oh, hey, hey, great idea. I'll buy.
Neil: No. No. You don't have to buy.
Colin: No, no, no. Neil, Neil, it's cool. In fact, I had a recent upturn in my finances, thanks, in part, to Devon.
Neil: Really? Devon? What did he do?
Colin: Well, I closed a deal here at the athletic club.
Hilary: Neil, let's just go find a seat, okay?
Neil: Yeah. All right.
Colin: $2 million tomorrow, cash. Otherwise, I tell him.
Next on "The Young and the Restless"...
Michael: I would like to cut to the chase. What can you tell me about my diagnosis?
Joe: Before you throw anything at me, I'm here to see my attorney.
Sharon: We will raise a child without ever having a conversation.
Nick: That's not gonna be a problem because I plan on raising faith on my own.
