Episode # 10521 ~ Michael & Lauren get their groove back, while the search for Ian Ward troubles Dylan.
Provided By Suzanne
Jack: You got some nerve showing up here claiming to give a damn about Phyllis.
Victor: I'm merely here to say hello.
Jack: You're not welcome here, especially not now.
Phyllis: It's okay, Jack. I'd like to see Victor.
Nick: That's what I like -- a highly paid executive doing her own filing.
Victoria: Losing her files is more like it. I can't seem to keep track of anything today.
Nick: Like the way we all lost track of dad after he took off on his last trip?
Victoria: Well, don't look at me. I don't have his itinerary.
Nick: Are you kidding me? Dad left you in charge, and he didn't tell you where he was going?
Victoria: Victor Newman, international man of mystery.
Nick: Well, I left him a message, too, thinking he'd be back by now, but from what I'm hearing, he hasn't shown up here?
Victoria: Not that I know of.
Nick: And no idea when he's coming back?
Victoria: Connie said he'll be home today, but until I see it with my own eyes, it's just a rumor. What do you want from him?
Nick: Actually --
Victoria: Ah, never mind. I think I can guess.
Sharon: What you reading?
Noah: It's, uh, Fenmore's ad. [Chuckles] Big sale coming up.
Sharon: Why is that funny?
Noah: [Chuckles] They're having a psychic come and do palm readings and something like that. Madame Isadora. They left her number. Look, I get that it's a publicity stunt, but what does it have to do with selling dresses? "I see in my crystal ball that you're gonna max out your Fenmore charge card."
Sharon: I made you a sandwich. But there's leftover meatloaf if you want.
Noah: Ooh. I didn't come here to eat. I came here to see how you're doing.
Sharon: Okay, you want me to just throw away the sandwich?
Noah: Uh, no. I'll take it.
Sharon: [Chuckles]
Noah: Thank you. So, how are you doing?
Sharon: I'm fine.
Noah: Really?
Sharon: Yeah, really. Why would you ask?
Noah: Because when Phyllis crashed the wedding and everybody was staring at her, I was looking right at you, and you were so pale, I thought you were gonna pass out. So, what was going on in your mind?
Lauren: Waiting for someone?
Michael: You have never looked more beautiful thank you do right now.
Lauren: [Chuckles] Well, it's amazing what a little timeout in the middle of a very busy day can do for a girl.
Michael: Come here, you.
Lauren: Maybe -- [Chuckles] It's too bad we have that meeting.
Michael: We'd be right back upstairs.
Lauren: All right. Then how about afterward?
Michael: Make it a quick meeting.
Lauren: And a very... very slow afternoon.
Maureen: Nikki! I didn't know you were staying here.
Nikki: Oh. Actually, I'm not. Um, I'm headed to a meeting for a charity event. It's gonna be in the suite.
Maureen: Oh. I thought we were friends. You don't have to try to pull the wool over my eyes, you know. I-I can probably kind of guess what you're doing here.
Paul: Hey, there. Thought I'd check in.
Dylan: Oh, thanks.
Paul: How's it going?
Dylan: Well, when I agreed to this phony murder charge, I had no idea how hard it would be spending all these nights in this cell.
Paul: Ian's taken the bait. It's all gonna be worth it.
Dylan: Yeah, says the guy who can walk out of here and go home to his wife!
Paul: Look, I know it's a difficult situation --
Dylan: No, I'm going nuts in here, Paul! You got to get me out.
Paul: Listen, you were booked and denied bail. If someone from the media were to see you, Dylan --
Dylan: No, no, no. They won't. I'll take every --
Paul: The answer is no. Our plan would be blown out of the water, Ian would disappear forever, and where would that leave you?
Dylan: Stuck in here. [Sighs]
Dylan: I feel like I can be a lot more useful to you and Nikki on the outside.
Harding: Oh, yeah, like when you went rogue and got the chief shot.
Dylan: And they say I never let anything go.
Harding: I can say a lot worse than that about you.
Dylan: Yeah, like what?
Harding: Like you belong in there.
Paul: Knock it off, Harding. We've got a good plan, and it never would have gotten off the ground if Dylan hadn't agreed to be a part of it.
Harding: And if you would have trusted me in the beginning, we could have come up with something a lot less risky.
Dylan: Well, you got a better plan? Let's hear it.
Paul: We're not changing the plan. I got to go. I'm running late.
Harding: Late for what? Where you going?
Paul: I'm gonna check on Nikki at the club. Hang tough. I mean it. Before you know it, you'll be out of here, and Ian will be taking your place in there.
Nikki: You know, I can't talk right now. I really do have a meeting.
Maureen: Right. I understand.
Nikki: What is it that you think you understand?
Maureen: You need a little alone time.
Nikki: Alone time?
Maureen: You're a Newman. Everyone wants a piece of you. You're in the public eye. Under that kind of pressure, I think anyone would want an escape once in awhile. And especially, honey, since you're looking a little ragged.
Nikki: Oh, what a sweet thing to say.
Maureen: Oh, no! I-I didn't mean it. Just --
Nikki: You know, I really can't talk now. I have a meeting, so...
Maureen: Right, right. I know. I'm out of your hair. And I really do hope for the best for you. Honest. I do, Nikki.
[Door beeps]
Stitch: Max, show me that picture again, the one of you and your buddies outside the aquarium. [Laughs] Yeah, that's the one. I love all the shark fins. [Chuckles] Boy, you guys are a bunch of regular comedians, aren't you? Do me a favor, pal. Will you e-mail that to me? Thanks, champ. I'm really glad to see you made such good friends. Someday I'm gonna introduce you to my friends, too.
Victoria: You want to talk to dad about Sharon, don't you?
Nick: It's pretty obvious why he blew off the wedding. Dad's working overtime to figure out what Sharon's secret is so he can do whatever it takes to keep us from getting married.
Victoria: And you want to know what he's uncovered.
Nick: It's the not knowing that is killing Sharon, and I'm afraid she's gonna have another manic episode. And then all the hard work she has done to get healthy will have been for nothing.
Victoria: Well, can't you reassure her somehow?
Nick: I've done everything I can. It's like she's obsessed. I don't know how many more times I can tell her I don't care what the secret is. Whatever it is, we can work through it.
Victoria: And that hasn't helped?
Nick: Nothing I say or do will help. I can't get her to calm down. I can't get her to focus on the wedding. I just wish dad would tell me what it is he's looking for so I can prepare Sharon and I can show her that nothing is gonna make me stop from wanting her to be my wife again.
Victoria: Don't. Don't marry Sharon.
Phyllis: Jack and I just learned the most interesting thing. It seems that I had a visitor at the clinic, someone who spent a lot of time there even though he wasn't family. Tall, commanding, with a mustache.
Victor: You think that was me?
Jack: I have a witness that claims this man got very chummy with Phyllis' doctor.
Phyllis: Was there a reason you decided you had a vested interest in me, Victor?
Jack: If you lie, I'd be more than happy to look at security tapes or talk to employees there at the clinic.
Victor: No intention to lie. I was at the clinic. I am the one who brought in dr. Cutler.
Jack: Who the hell is dr. Cutler? Dr. Burnett is Phyllis' doctor.
Victor: Dr. Burnett and his staff were not up to the task. So I looked for an alternative. Phyllis had been lying in that hospital bed in a comatose state for over a year without a sign of improvement. I happened to have read an article by dr. Cutler about an experimental drug --
Jack: Experimental?! Do you have any idea how many things could have gone wrong?!
Victor: Obviously it didn't! She's here in the flesh, isn't she?
Phyllis: Avery and Summer never said a thing about an experimental treatment.
Victor: Because I didn't tell them.
Jack: You have no right to go behind her family or my back to make determinations about her medical care! Where the hell do you get this authority?
Phyllis: You definitely overstepped. My question is, why didn't you tell anyone?
Victor: Because I didn't want to get anyone's hopes up in case the treatment didn't work.
Phyllis: I may have just woke up from a 12-month nap, but I am clear-headed enough to know when someone is being evasive, so I'm gonna ask you again. There is no love lost between us, Victor, and I would have thought you'd be glad to have me out of the way. So, for you to go all of the trouble to bring in this special doctor, why? Why were you so anxious to have me back?
Michael: She's not here yet. Are we early?
Lauren: A bit. It's too bad. Could have spent more time upstairs.
Michael: Is it my imagination, or are you glowing?
Lauren: Normally I would say it was you. But I feel like I am. I don't remember the last time I felt this happy.
Michael: Neither can I.
Lauren: And those problems we were having, I mean, they just seem so far away. Why were they even an issue?
Michael: We were both working too hard and not making enough time for each other. That doesn't matter. None of it matters anymore because we are never gonna have those problems again.
Lauren: No, we're not. And I would like to drink to that.
Michael: Hold on. Here we go.
[Glasses clink]
Nick: How can you even say that to me? You know how much I want to marry Sharon. Vick, you came to my wedding. I thought you were behind us.
Victoria: I was trying to be supportive, nick. I know how much you love the woman, all right? But look at you. You're a mess. Sharon has made you a mess, and this is not the first time. Look at everything she's done to our family.
Nick: No, stop. We're not going there.
Victoria: And even if dad uncovers the secret and it turns out to be nothing, Sharon is still going to screw up. Do you really want to sign up for that? I really don't want to see you hurt again. How many times have you two tried? There is a reason why you and Sharon don't work. You know that, right?
Nick: Well, I want to marry Sharon, and that's the end of it. I mean, Sharon has been through so much, and I'm proud of the way she's handled it.
Victoria: I understand wanting to move forward with someone that you love, but to ignore their history, I mean, I don't mean to offend you, but it's just not wise, nick.
Nick: You know what? This isn't even about me and Sharon anymore. This is about Billy and stitch and the decision you have to make.
Sharon: Having Phyllis suddenly show up like that was a shock. It was a shock for everyone, not just me.
Noah: Sure. But you were the only one that panicked and rushed out of the church. Where'd you go?
Sharon: To the cemetery to talk to Cassie. I was scared.
Noah: Of what? Phyllis? Why?
Sharon: Eat your sandwich.
Noah: No, mom, wait. Don't. Don't, okay? I can tell when something's wrong.
Sharon: I don't want to talk about it.
Noah: Why would you be afraid of Phyllis? I mean, I understand you guys have never gotten along, but...
Sharon: There have been times when I was at Cassie's grave and I had flashes of Phyllis being there with me.
Noah: Before she came back for real? What do you think that means?
Sharon: I don't know. I've been wracking my brain to try to figure it out. I just come up with nothing.
Noah: Mom, it probably doesn't mean anything.
Sharon: It means everything. And until I figure out what, I cannot marry your father.
Victor: It is true, Phyllis. You and I aren't close. But I'm very fond of Summer. And she missed her mother terribly, and I couldn't stand by and watch her suffer.
Jack: Oh, please. I hope you're not buying this.
Victor: But you're all right now. You're back.
Jack: And what? We're supposed to thank you as the hero here for getting in the middle of something that was none of your business?!
Victor: Summer is my business! I will always think of her as my granddaughter!
Jack: I don't care what you think. She is my daughter! She is my flesh and blood!
Phyllis: Stop!
Jack: You okay?
Phyllis: No. I'm not.
Paul: Nikki?
Nikki: [Gasps]
Paul: I'm sorry. I didn't mean to startle you. The door was open.
Nikki: I'm so sorry, Paul. [Chuckles] I jump at my own shadow these days.
Paul: Well, we're all on hyper alert, but, uh, you know what? In this case, it's a good thing. But you could help us if you would actually make sure your door is closed.
Nikki: Yeah. I-I know. I definitely will. I'm sorry. I will.
Paul: I made a promise to make sure that nothing would happen to you, and, uh, so far, I've been pretty lucky. I think I'm a couple of steps ahead of Ian this time.
Nikki: How do you mean?
Paul: Well, for one thing, I'm pretty sure the burner phone he put in your glove box was bugged.
Nikki: He heard our conversation? He knows that I'm here?
Paul: Well, that's the idea.
Nikki: Oh, my god.
Paul: Letting him in on the secret that you're working with the police to have him apprehended. Now that he's realized that you're not going to be meeting him at the place you arranged, he'll come here instead where you're hiding, thinking he's gonna catch you off guard, and that's when we're gonna nab him.
Nikki: Well, he has eluded you before.
Paul: He has, but this time, we are ready for him. This place is crawling with undercover cops. So he's not gonna slip through our fingers.
Nikki: Well, I am so glad that you have thought this through so well.
Paul: Well, I'm just glad I can be here to reassure you.
Nikki: Hey. Your friendship, your loyalty, that's what I'm clinging to these days.
Paul: [Chuckles] Well, cling away, 'cause that's what I'm here for.
Nikki: [Chuckles] Well, really since Katherine sent me out on this journey to find my son, you have been right there with me the whole time by my side.
Paul: Well, here I am again. And we're working together again to see this thing through.
Nikki: We make a pretty good team, huh?
Paul: Yeah, we sure do. [Chuckles]
Nikki: I'm grateful for it. Thank you.
Dylan: Come on! Will you just get Harding?! I need to talk to him! What is the problem?! Will you call him for me?! Harding!
Harding: Will you please shut the hell up? And notice I said please.
Dylan: Okay, wait, I need to know what's happening. Is Nikki safe? Is she in the suite? Is there any sign of ward?
Harding: Calm down. Everything's fine. Everything's under control.
Dylan: Well, you just love this, don't you? You love keeping me in the dark, watching me go crazy, your petty way of repaying me for what happened to Paul.
Harding: You are a suspect in a murder investigation. I don't owe you a thing.
Dylan: You said you could have come up with a better plan. Which means you have doubts about this one. Why don't you tell me what they are?
Harding: Why should I?
Dylan: Because if something goes wrong and you could have prevented it, that's on your head.
Stitch: Okay, max. You be good now. You listen to your mom, and I'll talk to you again real soon. Bye, buddy. I love you, son.
Maureen: Was that max? He was so big, I could hardly even recognize him.
Stitch: Yeah, I know the feeling.
Maureen: It would have been nice to say hi.
Stitch: I'm lucky Jenna lets me talk to him. She's very strict about our video calls.
Maureen: He's your son.
Stitch: Yeah, he is my son, and he's living on the other side of the world. Now do you understand everything I've lost? Was it all worth it?
Maureen: You shouldn't have had to pay such a heavy price. You -- you can't dwell on the past. You have to stay focused on your future.
Stitch: My future, huh?
Maureen: Yes. Are you gonna tell Victoria the truth so you can get back together?
Stitch: I told you. You have nothing to worry about as far as I'm concerned.
Maureen: Okay. I'm glad to hear that. It's -- it's for the best, honey. I know I can trust you.
Stitch: If only Victoria did.
Victoria: Look, Billy's moved on, and I have no interest, and I don't want him or Ben in my life right now.
Nick: You seem upset.
Victoria: [Sighs] Look, we were talking about you, not me.
Nick: Well, I already told you I will support whatever decision you make, but seeing how uncomfortable you are talking about either one of them, I got to think something's changed.
Victoria: No.
Nick: So, before you start trying to cover it up or lie to me, just know I ain't leaving here until you tell me what it is.
Victoria: All right. Maybe something happened, but it's mainly because of Abby.
Nick: What did Abby do?
Victoria: She was going on and on the other day about how Billy and I should get back together, and then Ben came by and I sort of rebelled.
Nick: How?
Victoria: I kissed hi I know. I know it was a mistake, and I know I shouldn't be sending him mixed signals. I know that.
Nick: Why else was it a mistake?
Victoria: Nick...
Nick: Tell me.
Victoria: I don't know. I mean, I just got all churned up inside, and I thought that I was over him, and...Nick: But you're not. You still have feelings for him.
Victoria: I don't know. I don't want to have feelings for Ben. I don't want to have feeling for anybody. I just want to give all of my love to this baby.
Nick: Well, once my niece or nephew gets re, everything's gonna be a lot more clear.
Victoria: I'm sure you're right.
Harding: If you think you can play me, don't even try. You're out of your league.
Dylan: Will you quit puffing your chest out for a minute and listen to me? My mother put herself in danger to catch that sociopath. If he finds a way to slip into that club --
Harding: He won't. We have all the entrances and exits covered.
Dylan: Yeah, by undercover cops who look like cops!
Harding: Don't be an idiot. The chief and I checked them all out personally. Just simmer down.
Dylan: What about the trap door in the basement?
Harding: What trap door?
Maureen: It's hard not to feel sorry for yourself.
Stitch: [Laughs] Oh, okay. That -- that's what you think I'm doing?
Maureen: Terrible things happened to you, to all of us. What happened to your father I don't regret at all, and you shouldn't, either. You were extremely brave.
Stitch: [Scoffs] I-I know I did the right thing. It's just seeing max, talking with him, when I can't hug him or play catch with him or, you know, it's just...
Maureen: I know. I know. I know how much that hurts you, honey. But you've never let what happened keep you from moving forward before. I want you to be happy.
Stitch: That makes two of us.
Maureen: Then go fight for what you want. You know, it's -- it's probably too late for me to find happiness, but it's not too late for you. If you want Victoria, you go after her. And don't let anyone or anything get in your way.
Noah: Of course you can marry dad. Why would you let Phyllis get in the way of that?
Sharon: Because she knows, Noah.
Noah: Knows what?
Sharon: The secret. Whatever unforgivable thing I did that could hurt nick and break us up forever, Phyllis knew what it was before the accident. She was the only one who knows, and now she's back.
Noah: So that's why you're freaking out, because you're afraid that she remembers.
Sharon: Why else would she go to great lengths to disrupt my wedding?
Noah: Because it's Phyllis! She likes to make everything about herself.
Sharon: She hates me. I could see it in her eyes when she walked through those doors. She was staring right at me. My heart almost stopped. If she hadn't fainted, I'm sure she would have blurted out to everyone what I did because she knows that it would devastate nick!
Noah: [Sighs] Okay. The visions of Phyllis at Cassie's grave.
Sharon: Yeah, those seem very real. I can't explain it, but it's like it really happened.
Noah: Have you talked to your therapist about it?
Sharon: What would be the point of that?
Noah: Mom.
Sharon: I want to marry your father. I want us to be a family again, Noah, but I can't, not until I figure out what's going on in my head and how to stop Phyllis from controlling my life!
Phyllis: I am not gonna let the two of you argue over my daughter. Summer and I are reunited. That is all that matters.
Jack: I'm sorry I upset you, okay?
Victor: I just came here to remind you how much I love my granddaughter.
Phyllis: I know. But what I don't know is everything else that happened while I was gone. There is so much I need to catch up on.
Victor: Oh, yes, you do.
Phyllis: Must have been awful for Jack, being alone all that time. And I am so sorry for making him suffer.
Victor: He suffered terribly while you were gone.
Jack: I am enormously relieved and happy that you are back. It has been a tumultuous year. Victor knows that. As a matter of fact, why don't you fill her in on all that's happened with your family? Nicholas and Sharon have had a particularly difficult time, haven't they?
Victor: You see, Jack, I didn't come here to tell Phyllis about all that she has missed. I'll leave that to you.
Phyllis: Fine. Fine. If you're not gonna help me fill in the blanks, then why did you stop by in the first place? What is it you needed to see me about?
Paul: Well, uh, I don't suppose Victor's too happy to hear that we're working together again. Especially now that you have, uh, seemingly set yourself up as a target for Ian.
Nikki: We, uh, haven't exactly connected.
Paul: What do you mean?
Nikki: Well, he's out of town on business.
Paul: What? Still?
Nikki: Yeah. Since he won't tell me where he is or when he's coming back, I've decided to just not return his phone calls.
Paul: Aha. Because you don't want him to know what we're up to, just like you didn't want him to know what we were up to when we were looking for our son?
Nikki: Because he would make me not do it. And I want to do this, Paul. I have to do it.
Paul: I know you do.
Nikki: I mean, I started this thing, so I need to end it. And you've been with me all along this whole time, and you make me feel strong. You make me feel capable. You don't keep me in a gilded cage like Victor does. So, by the time this is over, we will have gone full circle. And that is as it should be.
Dylan: When Devon bought the athletic club, cane asked me to do a walkthrough with him. They knew I was a builder, and they wanted my input. I found this old trap door in the basement that hadn't been used in decades. It dropped down into a tunnel. A lot of the old hotels from the '20s have them.
Harding: Bootlegging tunnels.
Dylan: Right. So, it led to a stairwell that connected the club to the building next door. Now, I told them to seal it off for security reasons. I don't know if they followed through with my recommendation. If they didn't and ward knows about it --
Harding: He could sneak in to the club. I got to warn the chief.
Dylan: No, no, no, wait, wait! No. It's too hidden. You'll never find it.
Harding: Well, tell me where it is.
Dylan: Well, I can get you in the proximity, but it's not that easy, because if you miss it by a few feet, you will never see it. It's not marked. I know it by sight. You got to get me out of here so I can show you!
[Knock on door]
Victoria: Hi.
Stitch: Hey.
Victoria: Are you here to serve me papers?
Stitch: [Chuckles] I've decided not to get a lawyer after all. You're welcome. [Chuckles]
Victoria: Well, obviously that's reassuring news, but... did you have to come here to tell me that?
Stitch: I know you said I shouldn't have read too much into that kiss you gave me, but I did. And I wanted to make sure what I read was right.
Madame Isadora: There you are.
Michael: All righty. Now, the name on the contract is Dora Feldman. You signed --
Madame Isadora: Madame Isadora. My registered business name. It's legal. The contract will stand.
Michael: Well, then I will consider all of my I's dotted.
Madame Isadora: Oh, please do.
Lauren: And I am delighted that you agreed to give readings at my flagship's promotion.
Michael: I have been told many times that I have an extraordinarily long, long love line.
Lauren: Doesn't surprise me in the least.
Madame Isadora: Oh, I don't read palms or tarot cards or any of those other parlor tricks. I'm clairvoyant, a true psychic. It's been my burden since I was a child.
Michael: Well, looking at your appearance fee, it has been a very lucrative burden.
Lauren: Michael.
Madame Isadora: We all need to make a living.
Lauren: [Laughs] Yes. Some of my best customers have told me how wonderful you are.
Madame Isadora: Don't worry, miss Fenmore. I'll pack them in.
[Cell phone chimes]
Lauren: Excuse me. Oh, uh, something has happened at the store. I'm gonna have to go. I'm gonna have to cut this short. Please forgive me.
Michael: Well, I should check in with the office, but we'll meet back here later?
Lauren: That's a date, counselor. I look forward to seeing you at the event.
Madame Isadora: Likewise.
Michael: All right, I will have these scanned and forward a copy to your booking agent.
Madame Isadora: Thank you. It was a pleasure to meet you and your wife.
Michael: The pleasure was all ours.
Madame Isadora: Take care of yourself, Mr. Baldwin.
Noah: Mom, what can I do for you, huh? There's got to be something. I can't stand seeing you like this.
Sharon: Noah, I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have unloaded all of this on you. This is my mess to deal with.
Noah: No, mom, no. It's not just you. I'll always be there for you.
Sharon: I know. That really helps a lot. You know what? I promise I am going to call my therapist.
Noah: Maybe you guys can piece together what happened between you and Phyllis at the cemetery, and then maybe you won't be so afraid that she's gonna tear your world apart.
Sharon: Yeah. I'm sure that'll be the case. You know, once I put all these pieces together, I'm gonna realize I was overreacting and then I'll be kicking myself for not marrying your father the minute I could get him in front of a judge.
Noah: Well, the way that dad feels about you, you're not gonna have to drag him very hard. He really wants to marry you.
Sharon: I feel the same way.
Noah: Okay. Well, I was supposed to meet Courtney after her shift, but I can stay if you want me to.
Sharon: No! Go! I'll be fine. And you know the minute you're out the door, I am going to call my therapist and make an appointment.
Noah: Awesome. Okay. And if she can't figure it out, hey, you can always just, uh, book some time with the psychic Madame Isadora. Maybe she can figure out what's bouncing around inside of your head.
Sharon: [Laughs] Hey, you never know.
Noah: Right? Love you.
Sharon: Love you. Bye, sweetie.
Noah: Bye. Thank you.
[Door closes]
Victor: Well, as I said when I arrived, I came to see you, welcome you back. Although you and I haven't been terribly close, all those years you were married to my son.
Phyllis: Yeah. You really loved that. Treated me like a revered member of the family.
[Cell phone rings]
Jack: Sweetheart, I'm -- I'm sorry. I have to take this. I will be in the dining room.
Phyllis: Actually, I'm glad that we are finally alone. I wanted to talk to you about something.
Victor: Mhmm. Sure.
Michael: Yes, hi. This is Michael Baldwin. I got a message that dr. Botnik wanted me to call. He wants me to make another appointment?
Stitch: [Breathing heavily] Yeah. I was right.
Paul: I am just glad I could be here for you, then and now.
Nikki: You know what's really gonna make this whole thing so worthwhile? Not just bringing Ian to justice, although that will be very satisfying. But think about what it's done for Dylan and you and me. It's brought us all so much closer.
Paul: Yeah, it has. Once Ian is all locked up, where does that leave us? I mean, what -- what kind of relationship will we have with our son?
[Knock on door]
Nikki: I -- are you expecting anybody?
Paul: No.
Nikki: My god. What if it's Ian?
Paul: If it's Ian, you can handle it. Come on.
Nikki: Yes?
Maureen: Hey. No need to be alone. I got the vodka. I think we can both use a drink.
Nick: Hey! How's it going?
Sharon: Fabulous.
Nick: Really? What brought that on?
Sharon: Y wanting to marry me no matter what.
Nick: I really do, you know. Though I know you have some doubts.
Sharon: Okay, how about next week, you, me, and the kids, city hall or the park. Or whatever works for you.
Nick: I love it. Sounds awesome.
Sharon: Okay, I'll be ready by next week.
Nick: Well, I can't wait.
Sharon: Did you eat lunch?
Nick: No, I'm starving. You got y food in this joint?
Sharon: Yeah. I just put away a sandwich I had made for Noah. He didn't eat it.
Nick: Ooh, his loss.
Sharon: [Chuckles] Hi. This message is for Madame Isadora. This is Sharon Newman calling. I would like to schedule a psychic reading as soon as possible.
Phyllis: I've been having these -- I hesitate to call them memories because I'm not sure what's real or what was a dream. But now that you have admitted to being at the clinic... I remember opening my eyes. You were there in the room with me. But were you really?
Victor: Yes, I was. It's the first time since your accident that you opened your eyes. First time you came out of your coma.
Phyllis: And this was due to the experimental treatment?
Victor: Mm-hmm. I did everything in my power to bring you back, and it worked, okay? You are here because of me. Now I want you to do everything in your power to help me.
Next on "The Young and the Restless"...
Jack: I think you need to stick around and face the music.
Ian: I came back for you, Nicole.
Ashley: How do you like your handsome, new son-in-law, huh?
Phyllis: You're already married?
