Episode # 10517 ~ Devon pressures Hilary to make a decision; Jack & Kelly face a crossroads in their relationship; Stitch gives Victoria an ultimatum.

Provided By Suzanne

Abby: Ooh! I like your new office. Huh. I thought all the rooms in this building had portraits of dad hanging on the wall so he can hover over the employees.

Victoria: Well, I got special permission. Only photos of the kids.

Abby: Mm. Ooh! Any contractions? Please say no.

Victoria: No. No contractions.

Abby: And none of that water-breaking business?

Victoria: Relax. Your shoes are safe.

Abby: Oh. Thank God. Now, do you have any other good news to share?

Victoria: Like?

Abby: Like things went so well at the hospital that you and Billy have decided to get back together.

Chelsea: What's going on? Did something happen with the baby?

Billy: No. As far as I know, everything's fine with Victoria and the baby. Didn't I tell you last night? It was false labor.

Chelsea: Yeah. But then I woke up, and you were gone. No text, no note. I thought maybe you rushed to the hospital. I tried calling...

Billy: No, I just had some things to take care of here at the house.

Chelsea: For Jack? Is he with Phyllis at the hospital?

Billy: Yeah, he is, but... I can't help him with whatever his deal is with Phyllis. He's got to figure that out for himself. You too. Me too what? I have to figure something out?

Billy: Yeah, you never answered my question last night, about what you would do if Adam came back the way that Phyllis has.

Chelsea: Billy, I told you, there's no point in talking about it. Adam's not coming back. He's gone.

Billy: You're wrong, Chelsea. Adam is still very much with us.

Phyllis: I heard your proposal, Jack. And the answer's yes.

Jack: I waited so long for that answer. And the smile that goes with it.

Phyllis: Then why aren't you smiling back?

Jack: So many nights, I dreamed...that you would open your eyes... and say yes as I put that ring on your finger.

Phyllis: This is no dream. Okay? I'm back. Let's get married, Jack.

Lily: Kelly. Hey, what are you doing here?

Kelly: Hi. Oh, well, you know all those events that we have planned this month?

Lily: The ones you've already organized?

Kelly: [Chuckles] Well, there's a lot of fine tuning to do, so I'll probably be here all night.

Lily: Look, I get that you want to stay busy, but I think maybe you should take some time off, you know? Just go out of town for a few days. I can cover for you. It's fine.

Kelly: That's really sweet of you, but I'm not gonna hide from my problems, lily.

Stitch: Yeah, that hiding thing -- that's not really my sister's thing.

Lily: Hi. Uh, I'll let you two talk.

Stitch: So, what are we supposed to be talking about?

Kelly: Jack's fiancée woke up.

Stitch: Where does that leave you?

Kelly: Guess.

Neil: So, does Devon want us to wait for him or what?

Lily: Uh, he's not coming.

Cane: Yeah, he sent a text saying he's gonna be out of town for a couple of days.

Neil: Out of town? Where'd he go?

Cane: Don't know, but it was something to do with an antique car show and California.

Lily: He probably took his secret lover on a romantic getaway.

Neil: Why are you still on that? I mean, we don't even know if Devon's actually seeing someone.

Lily: Actually, I do, 'cause I got confirmation. Took some badgering, but he finally admitted there's a special lady in his life.

Cane: [Chuckles]

Hilary: Um, Devon. What are you doing here?

Devon: I couldn't stay away.

Jack: I'm surprised you remember my proposal... or anything after the accident. The doctors weren't sure if you could hear us.

Phyllis: But you proposed away.

Jack: I had to take my shot. Had to let you know you were loved before you... went away.

Phyllis: And that you'd be waiting.

Jack: I owe you an apology.

Phyllis: What did you do?

Jack: I -- I proposed... badly. You weren't even conscious.

Phyllis: Oh, Jack... had all the right elements -- the heartfelt declaration and the perfect ring.

Jack: Did you leave that in the clinic?

Phyllis: Okay. My turn to apologize. I, um... had to pawn your beautiful ring. I left the clinic. I didn't have a wallet, I didn't have credit cards...

Jack: Why didn't you call me when you woke up? Why did you risk your health by trying to come back here alone? You know what could've happened to you if you'd passed out in some rest stop without an I.D.?

Phyllis: I was trying to get home to Summer and you. But we can buy back that ring, and you can put it back on my finger again. Only this time, you're not gonna have to wait a year to hear me say yes.

Kelly: Jack wasn't looking for anything serious when we got together. I mean, he told me his heart always belonged to Phyllis.

Stitch: Then why did he ask you to move in?

Kelly: Well, he didn't think that she was gonna get any better. He's a good guy, Ben.

I'm the one who let my guard down and fell too hard too fast.

Stitch: I guess there's nothing like hindsight.

Kelly: Victoria?

Stitch: You know, when we started, I knew I was the rebound guy. Her being with me was all about needing to forget about Billy for a moment or two. Next thing I know, I was thinking about a future with Victoria, a family...

Kelly: Sweetie, I'm so sorry that things didn't work out for you, but I think that Victoria really cares about you. I do. I mean, and anybody could see that. Plus, there's a chance you could be the father of her child. I mean, that changes everything.

Stitch: Does it?

Kelly: Yes! People are bonded by their children. Phyllis and Jack share a daughter. Victoria and Billy share a son.

Stitch: And a ton of history. Billy will always come first with Victoria because she loved him first and can't seem to stop loving him, so...

Kelly: So... where does that leave us? We don't stand a chance.

Stitch: I'd love to tell you different, sis. But I'd be lying to you, and that's what got me in this whole mess.

Victoria: Nothing has changed. Okay? I am living my life, and Billy is moving on with his.

Abby: Trying to, maybe, but Chelsea is totally wrong for him.

Victoria: Billy doesn't think so. What brought him to the hospital last night was fear -- the thought of... losing another child.

Abby: It'll be a year tomorrow.

Victoria: It seems like yesterday. I remember... her running out of the house that night, a big smile on her face, going to the school play.

Abby: Just seems like everything went haywire after that night.

Victoria: It's kind of like we're living in this alternate universe where nothing really makes sense anymore.

Abby: Do you ever think about it, how different things would be if Delia hadn't died?

Victoria: Yeah, she'd be home right now, playing with Johnny.

Abby: And Billy would still be with you, looking forward to the birth of your baby. And there'd be no Kelly and no stitch and definitely no Chelsea to complicate things.

Billy: Adam may be dead, but you are keeping his memory alive and well by living in his penthouse and sleeping in his bed. I'm keeping my dead husband's memory alive for my son. Kind of deserves to know who his father was.

Billy: Well, I'll be happy to enlighten the kid when he's old enough to understand.

Chelsea: Okay. You hate Adam. I get it. Um...but what's with the disappearing act? I-I thought that we were going for something more substantial than "friends with benefits."

Billy: I thought so, too.

Chelsea: Well, then how does sneaking out while I'm sleeping play into that?

Billy: Well, I didn't want to interrupt your dream. It sounded like a good one, the way you were purring Adam's name.

Lily: I cannot believe that you two aren't more curious. I mean, Devon hasn't been serious about somebody since Roxy, and that was before he inherited $2 billion. What if this girl's all for his money or something? You should find out what's going on?

Cane: Whoa, whoa. Me? Why do I have to do it?

Lily: 'Cause you're the brother-in-law. I'm sure he'd feel more comfortable talking to you than me.

Cane: I agree with you there. We should stop pushing.

Lily: But, honey, I just want everyone to be as happy as we are.

Neil: Mm-hmm. I'll admit, the love of a good woman can make a difference.

Hilary: Is -- is Neil okay? You didn't tell him about us?

Devon: No, I didn't.

Hilary: Okay.

Devon: How do you like New York?

Hilary: You came all the way to New York to ask me about New York?

Devon: What do you think?

Hilary: I said we wouldn't do this, Devon. Did Neil tell you that we got arrested for being in a bar fight?

Hilary: You took my blind, recovering, alcoholic husband to a bar?

Devon: It was for nick Newman's bachelor party. There are pictures of all of us in lockup. There's Jack and Sharon, cane, lily...

Hilary: Whoa. Lily?

Devon: Yeah. It was all over the place.

Hilary: Wow. How did I miss this? Been so busy with work, I haven't been able to catch up on my G.C. Buzz. Which, um...I have to get back to. So...

Devon: Did Neil not call and tell you about it?

Hilary: No. He hasn't exactly been checking in.

Devon: Do you miss him?

Hilary: Yes. I do.

Devon: Okay.

Hilary: It's been kind of a relief... not having to...deal with his calls.

Devon: Why do you say that?

Hilary: Neil thinks I've been faithful. And every time I hear his voice... I hate lying to him.

Devon: Why don't we stop?

Hilary: We have.

Devon: No, I mean stop hiding the truth from him?

Hilary: I'm not gonna hurt Neil.

Devon: Hilary, I hurt. Do you? Missing how you feel in my arms hurts. Everything about you --

Gus: You know what? Just stop, all right? This attraction, it just --

Devon: Really? "Attraction"? Can you not find a better word?

Hilary: Devon...

Devon: I'm serious. Find a word for my life not making sense without you in it. Find a word for everything that I do, I think, I see, and feel. It all leads back to you. What do you think that word is? It's love. Hilary, I love you. Do you still?

Chelsea: So, I happened to have a dream about Adam, and you're making this into --

Billy: It wasn't just that, although saying another man's name in bed is pretty bad.

Chelsea: You are unbelievable. I was sleeping!

Billy: And you are still attached to Adam. He is constantly on your mind.

Chelsea: He was a huge part of my life, Billy. But I'm in a relationship with you now, and what I had with Adam --

Billy: Look, last night was not the first time that you imagined Adam walking through that door.

Chelsea: You don't turn around when you hear a little girl laughing and expect to see Delia? I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said that.

Billy: No, you're right. I'm always thinking about Dee Dee. So thanks for making my point.

Chelsea: What -- what is your point, exactly?

Billy: That even though Adam is dead, you can't stop hoping and wishing that somehow he might come back into your life.

Chelsea: I want him to come back into Connor's life. Because no matter what you think about Adam on a personal level, he loved his son. You can't deny that.

Billy: But what about my little girl? You talk about what it is that Connor deserves? Well, Delia deserved a hell of lot more than to be left by the side of the road by that coward. So while you're knocking yourself out to preserve Adam's memory for your son... that's the image that is seared into my head, Chelsea... me sitting there, holding my... my precious little girl, begging her to hold on. A year later, it doesn't get any easier. Just... look, I thought that I could handle this... that you were married to the man who... who killed my daughter... but as it turns out, I can't.

Jack: I will take care of this.

Phyllis: When?

Jack: Soon.

Phyllis: How soon?

Jack: Phyllis...

Phyllis: The sooner you unpawn the ring, the sooner we can make that dream of yours a reality.

Jack: You need rest right now. We will talk about our future once you're out of the hospital.

Phyllis: How did you do it, Jack?

Jack: What, how did I deal with you? Well, it was work, but I figured out how to do it.

Phyllis: I'm talking about this past year. More than 12 months of hand-holding and one-sided conversations with me lying there like a lump.

Jack: Eh, you weren't that lumpy.

Phyllis: But you had to think I might never wake up, but here I am.

Jack: Thank God.

Phyllis: Well, then will you stop looking so worried? Will you please just give your brain and your heart an update? We will have a future together.

Jack: Okay.

Phyllis: That is, if you still want to marry me.

Jack: I never stopped loving you, red.

Phyllis: I love you, too, very much.

[Knock on door]

Michael: Hey.

Jack: Hey.

Michael: Are you up for another visitor?

Phyllis: I am if it's you. Get over here.

[Both laugh]

Michael: Oh, I'm so glad to see you.

Phyllis: Oh.

Michael: And you look good. You know, for somebody lying in a hospital bed.

Phyllis: Oh. Well, this glow isn't just the fluorescent lighting. I just accepted Jack's marriage proposal. Little slow on the pickup, aren't you, Michael?

Michael: Mm. Congratulations. Best wishes, all that sort of thing. I'm happy for you. And you.

Jack: I'll let the two of you catch up.

Phyllis: While you get my ring?

Jack: Do not overexert yourself. We don't want Phyllis to have a setback, right?

Michael: Not to worry, Jack. I'll make sure the patient stays calm and relaxed.

[Door opens]

[Cell phone rings]

Kelly: Hi, Jack.

Jack: Can you meet me?

Kelly: Uh, sure. Where?

Jack: My office, one hour.

Kelly: I'm kind of busy.

Jack: We need to talk.

Phyllis: I get engaged, and that's all I get -- a limp congrats?

Michael: I'll owe you a great big present.

Phyllis: I thought you liked Jack. Wanted us to be together.

Michael: Jack is Jack.

Phyllis: Something's off.

Michael: I'm still trying to wrap my head around all this. You, here...awake, talking... like a normal person, almost. It's been a long time.

Phyllis: Too long. I came back just in time.

Victoria: By the way, my marriage did not fall apart just because of Billy's grief.

Abby: Sure it did.

Victoria: You're trying to rewrite history, Abby. Billy and I had plenty of problems before Delia died.

Abby: Like what?

Victoria: Like trust. Like Billy hiding that he got back into gambling.

Abby: Um, hadn't you guys worked through that?

Victoria: I thought we had when we renewed our vows.

Abby: And then Billy had the one-night stand with Kelly.

Victoria: That was a game changer.

Abby: Which was a direct result from Delia's death since he met Kelly at grief counseling.

Victoria: This has nothing to do with Kelly. Billy shut me out. I mean, I don't know any relationship that can survive when there's no communication.

Abby: Okay. You are just looking for reasons to justify pushing Billy away. It's textbook.

Victoria: Never get into psychiatry.

Abby: Don't you want to know the one factor that you didn't consider?

Victoria: No. Okay. Please, enlighten me.

Abby: You love Billy, and you always will. Pushing him away will not change that.

Chelsea: You can't be with me because I was with Adam?

Billy: It's just all the constant reminders, Chelsea.

Chelsea: What do you want me to do, Billy? You want me to throw away all of his photos? Do you want me to promise to never utter Adam's name again?

Billy: I don't --

Chelsea: When Connor grows up, if he asks about his father, should I just say, "no comment"?

Billy: Chelsea...

Chelsea: Or God forbid Connor grows up to look like Adam. Maybe then I should just ship him off, as if he and his never existed.

Billy: I don't want this to bother me, okay? But it does.

Chelsea: Do you think all of your moaning and groaning about your breakup with Victoria was easy for me? It wasn't. But I was there for you, as a fri-- well, as more than a friend -- and I never once called you out on it.

Billy: Victoria didn't kill your kid. I just don't understand how you can still love him.

Chelsea: I guess... because he died before I could stop loving him. But I hate what he did. I don't know how things would be if Adam was still alive, but... it doesn't matter. He's gone.

Billy: Yeah, it does. It matters to me. Because every time I think about my daughter, when I don't feel as whole and I feel like there's a piece of me missing, I remember that that is because of Adam.

Lily: So, I was thinking that you should reconsider taking some time off.

Kelly: I'm okay.

Lily: Kelly, clearly you have bigger issues than the seating chart for the garden club's luncheon.

Kelly: Oh, no, the seating chart's all done. Listen, I would never let my personal life interfere with my work performance. Okay. Jack called. He wants to see me.

Lily: Oh.

Kelly: Yes, my reaction exactly. Hence the...liquid courage.

Lily: Well, I know that Jack and Phyllis have history, but he's with you now, so maybe -- maybe the talk is a good thing.

Kelly: [Sighs] That's optimistic.

Lily: Look, all I know is I just want the people I care about to be happy. That's it. I'm even willing to have my dad be with Hilary just so she can keep a smile on his face.

Cane: Were you really having fun at nick's bachelor party, or were you just putting on a brave face?

Neil: Hmm, to be honest with you, I was kind of faking it at first. I didn't want to bring rain clouds to the festivities, but, you know, honestly, I, uh... I started hitting my stride. I felt my groove. I had a good time.

Cane: Well, you know what they say, right? It's not a party till somebody gets handcuffed and thrown in the back of a cop car.

[Both laugh]

Neil: Yeah, that would've been me. You know, cane, first time since my accident, I felt like I was treated just like everyone else, you know? They threw me in jail right next to all the common criminals like Jack Abbott.

Cane: You deserved to be there, okay? I didn't even get to throw a punch.

Neil: I heard that about Australian men. They let their wives do their fighting for them, don't they?

Cane: Excuse me. We are talking about your daughter here. She's a strong-willed woman, and I couldn't have stopped her if I tried.

Neil: Well, my wife is strong-willed, too. It's a good thing, or I'd probably be divorced by now.

Hilary: We can't keep doing this.

Devon: Hilary...

Hilary: Sneaking behind Neil's back. It's wrong.

Devon: You know what? Let's stop sneaking.

Hilary: I'm not gonna leave Neil, okay?

Devon: My dad does not want you to stay with him out of pity. Has he not made that clear to you?

Hilary: When he asked for a divorce, he didn't mean that.

Devon: He wants you to live life. Your life, one that doesn't revolve around you being his caregiver.

Hilary: He's not a burden. Okay? He's...making progress. He's regaining his independence.

Devon: Right. And he's trying to push you to do the same thing.

Hilary: Okay, I can't.

Devon: Hilary, you're not hearing me. My dad is a strong man whether he can see or not. If he knew how you really felt, he would tell you to go. He'd say, "leave." You and I owe it to him to show him some respect, be honest with him, and tell him the truth. That's what he wants.

Hilary: No, that's what you want, you mean.

Devon: Well, yes, of course it is, but it doesn't mean we shouldn't do it. And I've said this before -- I'm not looking forward to hurting my father. I love him. If we would've lost him after that accident, that would've killed me.

Hilary: I know, okay? I know that about you. Here's what I know about Neil. It would kill him if I left him for his son.

Victoria: You know, I wouldn't admit this to anyone but you. But the thought of raising you on my own is pretty scary. [Breathes deeply] I promise you this, though -- however the paternity test turns out... you're gonna have an amazing life. And you're gonna have a lot of love.

Abby: Why are you always early?

Stitch: Because you never are. Slow down. You got plenty of time before everybody gets here.

Abby: Okay. My mom e-mailed some last-minute notes on the fragrance line.

Stitch: Got them.

Abby: Lab status?

Stitch: Should be ready soon.

Stitch: Did you order the additional equipment?

Abby: I was a little busy attending my brother's wedding and playing birth coach to Victoria.

Stitch: She -- she went into labor? Well, how is she? Is the baby okay?

Abby: It was false labor but enough to send her to the hospital. She was a little freaked out about the baby coming early, but don't worry. Billy came to calm her down.

Stitch: How did Billy know she was in labor?

Abby: I thought the baby's father should be there.

Stitch: I realize you're always gonna be team Billy, but there is a good chance that that baby is mine.

Abby: Okay. Listen, stitch. Regardless of who turns out to be the baby's father, you'll be out of there, and Billy and Victoria will end up together. They always do. Now, do you want to go over the pitch one more time?

Stitch: No. You don't need my help. Apparently, nobody does.

Stitch: Victoria.

Victoria: Oh. Hi. What brings you by?

Stitch: A question -- what's going on?

Victoria: With...?

Stitch: I heard you thought you went into labor.

Victoria: Oh, yeah, that. Well, you know, it turned out to be nothing, and -- and dr. Chiverton gave me and the baby a clean bill of health, so...

Stitch: Yeah, I heard that, too, secondhand.

Victoria: Yeah, uh, look. I -- I would've called you, but it was just a false alarm, so --

Stitch: Listen. I have done my best to respect your need for space.

Victoria: I appreciate that.

Stitch: But I cannot be left out of the loop concerning this baby. If I'm the father, I have a right to know what's going on with my child.

Victoria: I agree. And I have no intention of keeping you away from this baby if you're the father.

Stitch: Maybe not now, but that could change, and I... I can't take that chance. I decided to get a lawyer.

Victoria: Why? I told you that --

Stitch: And I believe you. But I'm sorry, but I... I need more than your word to protect my place in this baby's life.

Chelsea: You think Adam was a coward? Takes one to know one.

Billy: I am nothing like him.

Chelsea: Oh, really? Because Adam was running scared that night, kind of the way you're running scared now. He was making excuses for his behavior kind of the way that you're using this stupid dream as an excuse to end things with me now. Answer one question for me, Billy -- why did you even bother to make me think we could have something serious if you were just looking for an excuse to bail the entire time?

Billy: I wasn't.

Chelsea: Yes, you're still hung up on Victoria. If you didn't end things now, you would end things once she has this baby, so why delay the inevitable, right?

Billy: Chelsea, wait.

Chelsea: Wait for what? To hear more reasons why my dead husband makes me unsuitable for you? No, thank you.

Billy: Chelsea, you're right. Okay? You're right.

Michael: A lot has changed in the Baldwin household since last we spoke.

Phyllis: In a good way?

Michael: Well, what do you want to hear -- good, better, or best?

Phyllis: Good.

Michael: Fenmore's going to college in Arizona.

Phyllis: Kudos.

Michael: Mm-hmm. Better?

Michael: He has plans to attend law school after.

Phyllis: Like his old man.

Michael: [Chuckles]

Phyllis: Okay. Best?

Michael: Oh. Well, Lauren and I are... kind of enjoying this whole empty-nester thing.

Phyllis: Oh. I bet you are.

Michael: [Chuckles]

[Cell phone rings]

Michael: Oh. Sorry.

Phyllis: Do you need to take that?

Michael: No. It's nothing that can't wait. Seriously now, tell me -- how are you? Mm? What's it like to...wake up and find out that you've been unconscious a whole year?

Phyllis: Shocking. Lost a lot of time.

Michael: Don't try and make up for it all at once.

Phyllis: Shut up.

Michael: Get back on your feet, young lady.

Phyllis: Stop.

Michael: Your health is all that matters! Everything else can wait.

Phyllis: The hell with that. I'm not putting my life on hold. Why not be happy now?

Jack: Abby, did we have a meeting scheduled?

Abby: Oh. No, I'm just wrapping things up with the department heads.

Jack: Oh, right -- you and stitch. I was gonna try to sit in on --

Abby: You know what? Don't bother. I can fill you in later. I'll have to fill in stitch, too, since he didn't bother to stick around.

[Cell phone rings]

Jack: Hey, Len. What can I do for you?

[Knock on door]

Jack: Yeah. Shoot me the prices and the stats, and I can tell you. No. I got to run. Okay, okay. Good. Thanks. Listen, about this --

Kelly: Jack, before you say anything, I just want you to know that you don't have to prove anything to me just because Phyllis is back. Look, I would be lying if I said that I -- I wasn't really worried about how that would affect our relationship, but... it is enough for me to know that you love me... and that you want me. We don't have to rush into marriage, though, okay?

Jack: Kelly...

Kelly: Oh. Oh, that... ring isn't for me, is it.

Neil: You know what? Here's the thing -- I really -- I want to do something special for Hilary. Maybe even finish up on the house that I bought for her.

Lily: Are you kidding? You'd actually move in to that place?

Cane: Have you thought of selling it?

Lily: Dad, you almost died in that house. Why would you want to live somewhere where there's a bad memory?

Neil: Okay. So here's what I do -- I flip it around, you know, and I make the bad memories -- turn them into good ones with Hilary.

Cane: Have you talked to her about this? Maybe she doesn't want to live there anymore.

Neil: Okay. So, wait. Maybe -- maybe the house isn't the right thing to do, but I definitely want to do something meaningful to show her that, yeah, I still care.

Lily: She already knows that, though.

Neil: Maybe not. Maybe since the accident, I've been doing some pretty crazy things. I've been trying to -- I tried to push her away permanently.

Lily: Did you ask for a divorce?

Neil: Yeah. I did. I was trying to do the right thing.

Lily: Dad...

Neil: Save the speech, lily. I shouldn't have asked her for the divorce, and I'm just glad that she didn't take me up on it. I really do want her in my life, though.

Devon: I'm not happy about this.

Hilary: But you'll do it.

Devon: Yeah. I'll do it 'cause I respect your decision.

Hilary: We're agreed -- this thing ends here, now.

Devon: Yeah. After one last kiss.

Hilary: Yeah, just -- just one.

Devon: Right. Just one.

Billy: I'm being a coward.

Chelsea: Yeah, I know.

Billy: But not because I'm afraid you're gonna say Adam's name in your sleep. I get that. It's because I'm afraid I'M... letting down my little girl.

Chelsea: Billy...

Billy: Do you think she knows? Chelsea, you think she knows that I'm spending time in the house of her killer, that I'm hanging out with his wife and his son, who -- who has her eyes?

Chelsea: I didn't know you felt that way.

Billy: I didn't know, either, till I heard his name last night while I was lying in his bed.

Chelsea: Okay. Okay, I -- I get it now. But I don't want to lose you, Billy.

Billy: I don't want to lose you, either. Look, I don't care who you were married to. It's you that I want.

Chelsea: And I love that you care what Delia would think.

Billy: I have to. That's how I keep her memory alive.

Chelsea: Well, then you should know that I got to spend a lot of time with Delia. Chloe and I were starting the business, and she thought I was pretty cool.

Billy: Of course she did. She had excellent taste.

Victoria: You know it's a little soon to be talking about custody. We don't even know if this baby is yours.

Stitch: If you had gone into labor, would you have called me?

Victoria: Well, I...

Stitch: No, probably not. And why would you? Abby was there to coach you through it. So was Billy.

Victoria: I didn't call Billy.

Stitch: That doesn't change the fact that I'm always the end on the outside looking in. And I'm tired of it. If you want to be on your own, fine. But if this child's mine, I will be a hands-on father.

Victoria: Maybe I don't want to be on my own. [Sighs] I'm sorry, Ben. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that.

Michael: In total seriousness, the worst thing that could happen to any of us is that we lose you again. So why push it?

Phyllis: I can never get back the time that I missed lying in that bed that year. More than a year was stolen from me.

Michael: Your fall was an accident.

Phyllis: I just meant... I can never get that time back. But I can try my damnedest to piece back the life I had before.

Kelly: Oh, wow. You know, I had a feeling that you were gonna end things. It's just, when I saw the ring, you know... I should've trusted my gut.

Jack: I'm sorry.

Kelly: No, don't be. Of course that ring isn't for me. We said from the beginning that we weren't looking to get serious.

Jack: But we did.

Kelly: And obviously, that was a mistake.

Jack: Please, just let me explain.

Kelly: No. It's okay. I hope you and Phyllis will be very happy.
