Provided By Suzanne

Michael: Hi. Thanks for meeting me here.

Lauren: Sure, but please tell me this is not what you had in mind when you said, "Hey, let's do something different for dinner."

Michael: Well, they say the sandwiches in the vending machine are five-star.

Lauren: [Chuckles] Now you've been talking to Kevin.

Michael: Unfortunately, Kevin has not told me anything. He has not been returning my phone calls.

Lauren: Where is he?

Michael: Huh. Another excellent question. He's scheduled to work, but no one has seen or heard from him.

Lauren: Yeah. You would think he would have been on his best behavior after his arrest.

Michael: You'd think, wouldn't you?

Lauren: And he certainly understands how serious the charges are.

Michael: Kevin sees himself as the Robin Hood of the Internet, committing felonious acts in the name of good. Unfortunately, the legal system doesn't work that way.

Lauren: Honey, you're really worried about him.

Michael: Well ... the universe took Delia away from Kevin. Now Chloe. I don't think he's finished letting us know how he feels about that.

Kevin: Hey!

Mariah: Hey, yourself! Watch where you're going.

Kevin: Is that your idea of an apology?

Mariah: Oh, I owe you one?

Kevin: Uh, yeah. You just made me drop my ... Holy --

Mariah: Oh, no. Don't say it. I am so sick of hearing it.

Kevin: I'll bet. Everybody must tell you, you look exact --

Mariah: I said don't say it. One more might put me over the edge.

Kevin: Sounds like you're having as good a day as I am.

Sharon: Hi, handsome. I got your text.

Nick: Hey.

Sharon: That's not the face of a happy man.

Nick: It's not.

Sharon: What's wrong? Why'd you ask me to come by?

Nick: It's about Mariah.

Sharon: What is it? Is she okay?

Nick: She lied to you.

Victoria: Oh. Hey! Look at who I found in the bottom of your diaper bag. It's bear with me. That's the name your daddy gave him, remember? He said that he would always be there even when he couldn't be. This guy never left your side when you were a little baby. Ooh, I have an idea what we could do with him. I don't know if you've noticed this or not, but Mama's looking a little bit different lately. You know why? Because you're gonna have a little brother or little sister. That's right. The three of us are gonna be a happy family. Maybe you can give this guy to the new baby. What do you think? I think that would be a good idea. Do you think it's a good idea?

Johnny: Yeah.

Billy: I think it's a great idea.

Victoria: Hi. Billy. You're early.

Billy: Yeah, I wanted to see my little man. And bear with me. I haven't seen him in a while.

Victoria: I'm glad you're here. There's something that I want to talk to you about.

Billy: Yeah, sure. What is it?

Victoria: I ran into Ben yesterday. So I know that everything came out. You know, his career is over.

Billy: Yeah. I know.

Victoria: And it's because of you. You told his superiors that he went to prison and that when he got out, he took someone else's identity, and you told them that he lied about his record.

Billy: I didn't tell his superiors anything. He confessed.

Victoria: Because you were standing there with the proof in your hands. Billy, you may not have pushed him over the edge, but you drove him right to the cliff. You're responsible for this.

Billy: You think that guy belongs working in a hospital?

Victoria: I don't think you're anybody to pass judgment. I just want to ask you one thing. Does this make you happy?

Stitch: Mr. Newman.

Victor: I wondered when I was gonna see you again, Stitch.

Stitch: I'm sure you have a lot to say to me.

Victor: I believed in you, you know. And there's one thing I can't stand. That's to be made a fool of.

Stitch: I know I let you down, sir.

Victor: Mm-hmm. I thought I knew the kind of man you were. Someone I could respect and admire.

Stitch: Look, I never meant to deceive you.

Victor: But you did, stitch.

Stitch: I wasn't completely honest.

Victor: Uh-huh. You fooled me, you fooled my wife... and you hurt Victoria.

Stitch: I never meant to --

Victor: Well, but you did, didn't you, stitch? And you said you would care about her happiness.

Stitch: I do.

Victor: You hurt my family. You hurt Victoria, who's closer to my heart than almost anyone. So you stay away from her.

Stitch: With all due respect, sir. If that baby she's carrying is mine, I can't do that.

Billy: Vick, you have got to stop blaming me for stitch's lies.

Victoria: Ben is responsible for the choices that he's made.

Billy: Choices? Vick, he killed his own father and then started pretending to be some dead classmate of his to cover it up. He lied to the medical schools, the military, to the hospital. He's -- he's been lying to everybody, including you.

Victoria: Okay, Billy. Look, no matter what Ben has done in his past, he served his country. He's a wonderful doctor. I have seen how devoted he is to his patients. You have, too.

Billy: Right. He's got nice bedside manner. So what? Does that give him a pass for all the lies he's told and laws he's broken?

Victoria: No. Of course not.

Billy: Then what is the problem?

Victoria: You. You are the problem. You are the problem because you just want to spread this all around. You want everyone to know about it.

Billy: For weeks, months, you and everybody else has been accusing me of being on some kind of witch hunt, out to get good guy stitch.

Victoria: Well, haven't you?

Billy: Look, I didn't do this to punish the guy. I don't give a damn about him. I did it for you.

Victoria: [Chuckles] Come on. How can you say that?

Billy: I love you, Victoria. I don't want to see you get hurt. But if you think that I'm going to apologize for exposing that lying killer, forget it. That is never gonna happen.

Mariah: Your day could not have been as bad as mine.

Kevin: Yeah, are you about to lose your job?

Mariah: It kind of looks that way.

Kevin: Oh. Well, in addition to that, my life generally sucks.

Mariah: No, your life doesn't generally suck until you're about to lose your job and your home. And since I've been crashing at my boss's place, it looks like it's very probable.

Kevin: Yeah, nice move. I heard about that sweet deal you had going with nick and it's not that I'm judging. I've been there myself like a million times.

Mariah: With your most recent job?

Kevin: Maybe.

Mariah: Well, if you're about to get fired, you must have screwed up somehow.

Kevin: I may have bent the rules a little bit, but I had a good reason.

Mariah: Yeah, same here. You know, it just doesn't seem fair.

Kevin: What?

Mariah: Every time it looks like my life is going as planned, bam, something happens and everything falls apart. It's like I'm cursed.

Kevin: "And it is written if a man is born on a night when no stars light the heavens..."

Mariah: "He will forever live under a dark cloud."

Kevin: You've read "the kingdom beyond"?

Mariah: I've read the whole series twice. When you have a life as crappy as mine, you need something to escape.

Kevin: That's why I started reading it. And then read it over and over and over again. Unfortunately, you can't escape reality forever.

Mariah: Yeah, you're right. You can't.

Kevin: [Sighs]

Mariah: I have to go.

Kevin: Was it something I said?

Mariah: Yeah. Actually, it was.

Kevin: It usually is.

Sharon: So Mariah led us to believe that her mother was dead.

Nick: She told you she was.

Sharon: Okay, well, that doesn't mean everything else she said about her isn't true. I mean, I still believe that her mother neglected her.

Nick: So why didn't she just say she had a lousy mother out there somewhere?

Sharon: Maybe it was easier for Mariah to let herself think of her mother as dead. I mean, you know what it's like to be disappointed and let down by a parent. You want the pain to go away.

Nick: I just -- I don't buy that.

Sharon: Well, think about it, nick. Rather than let herself believe that her mother would be a real part of her life one day, she just told herself Helen Copeland was dead.

Nick: And that was supposed to make her feel better?

Sharon: I don't know. Maybe.

Nick: It's just -- Sharon, there is so much to this girl that we don't know, but let's go over what we do know. She has a connection to Ian ward. She just happened to show up in town and cross paths with dad when he was looking for a way to hurt you. And now this.

Sharon: Okay, so she hasn't told us every single detail of her private life. Why is that such a big deal?

Nick: This girl is hiding something from her past. It is something that she doesn't want anyone to know about.

Sharon: Well, she hasn't really done anything wrong. Quite the opposite, in fact. She's doing a great job here at the underground. She's been terrific around the house. You even let her watch faith.

Nick: Yeah, well, I was trying to see if there was a way that I could trust her, and... I can't.

Sharon: Okay. So now what? One little lie and you're gonna fire her and throw her out of the house?

Nick: [Sighs]

Sharon: So that's what you're going to do? Kick her out?

Nick: I think my reservations about Mariah are justified.

Sharon: I'm not saying they aren't. I just wish you would admit there may be a legitimate reason why Mariah led us to believe her mother is dead and that she really does want to change.

Nick: Well, I guess neither of us knows anything for sure.

Sharon: I know you're just looking out for me and your family. Just don't rush to judgment on this.

Nick: So, you want me to let her stay and in our home?

Sharon: Please?

Nick: [Sighs] Okay, but I'm gonna be keeping a very close eye on her.

Sharon: Because you haven't been doing that all along.

Nick: Closer.

Sharon: Thanks. I'm glad we could move on from this.

Nick: Yeah. Me too.

Lauren: Kevin, listen, Michael and I are at the police station. We were hoping to catch you and grab dinner, but maybe you're on your way. We'll wait for just a little while longer. All right, honey. Bye.

Michael: Well, hopefully he won't ignore you like he did me.

Lauren: Yeah.

Michael: [Sighs]

Harding: Don't you have your own office, Baldwin?

Michael: I am waiting for my brother.

Harding: You should be waiting for him at the county jail.

Michael: The charges against Kevin have been dropped.

Harding: Yeah. Due process. What a joke. This is all B.S., If you ask me.

Lauren: No, I don't think anybody did.

Harding: Well, we'll see what the chief thinks about fisher's extracurriculars when he gets back.

Michael: Probably something along the lines of "mind your own business, Harding."

Harding: You know, someday having a hot-shot attorney on his side and having the chief of police in his pocket won't be enough to keep your brother out of trouble.

Michael: If someone even attempted to manipulate evidence to make it look that way, they would be in so much more trouble than Kevin.

Harding: I'm just gonna sit back and watch your brother self-destruct.

Lauren: And you're so sure that he will?

Harding: Guys like fisher think they can get away with anything, but sooner or later, their luck runs out. I'm looking forward to that day.

Lauren: [Scoffs]

Victor: Do you think I'm gonna allow you to hurt Victoria any more than you already have?

Stitch: You want to protect your daughter, sir. I respect that.

Victor: Then we understand each other?

Stitch: [Scoffs] I'm not sure we do. I love Victoria.

Victor: You betrayed her.

Stitch: And I am gonna do everything I can to make up for that. No matter how things turn out for Vicki and me, I won't abandon my child.

Victor: What if she doesn't want that?

Stitch: I had a lousy dad. I'm not gonna be one.

Victor: You may not have a choice in the matter, stitch.

Stitch: I should have been honest with Victoria. I should have. But I am still the man you thought I was. Look, I have some dark stuff in my past, but there is more to the story than you know.

Victor: Please enlighten me.

Stitch: I was young, and there were certain things that I-I couldn't control.

Victor: Like your father, you mean?

Stitch: He made life for me and my mother a living hell.

Victor: So you stopped him.

Stitch: I did what I had to do. My old man, he was... he was a mean son of a bitch who didn't deserve his family. And I swore that I would never -- I would never be like him. I vowed that if I ever had my own family, I would do everything in my power to take care of them and keep them safe. I screwed that up once before. But if Victoria's baby turns out to be mine, I will be in its life, and I'm gonna be the best damn father I can be.

Victor: Well, son... I'll be the best father I can be.

Victoria: What do you want me to say? That you were right about Ben? Is that gonna make you happy?

Billy: No. This -- this is what makes me happy, the three of us together. It reminds me of what we once had.

Victoria: You mean what you threw away?

Billy: What we can have again. I see you pregnant -- maybe with a little girl this time -- and I can't help but think about how incredible our lives could be. You, me, Johnny, the new baby. How can I not fight for that, Vick?

Victoria: Billy.

Billy: Do you want me to stop fighting for it?

Victoria: We can't -- we can't go backwards.

Billy: Then let's go forward.

Victoria: I think that Johnny wants to get started on his sleepover with you, right? You want to go? He's ready.

Billy: Looks to me like he wants you to hang. What do you say? Could you for a little while?

Victoria: Uh, I don't know.

Billy: Look, Vick. I mean, how often does he get to see both his parents together? We can go for ice cream, you know, like we used to with... it'd be like old times.

Victoria: You want to get some ice cream? Yeah?

Billy: Yeah? I think we'd both like that.

Victoria: Ice cream it is, then.

Billy: Yeah.

Mariah: Before you guys fire me or kick me out of the house, please let me apologize. I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have bolted on you that way. It wasn't you. My mom calling threw me for a loop. It always does. Let's just say she didn't call to tell me that she missed me.

Sharon: We understand why you pretended she was dead.

Mariah: It's easier than thinking she doesn't give a damn. But you guys have every right to fire me or kick me out of the house.

Nick: You're right. We do. But we're not gonna do that. We're gonna give you another chance. Don't blow it.

Mariah: I won't.

Sharon: Okay, um, I have a meeting with lily about a fashion shoot we're doing at the club. But if you want to talk about your mom -- or anything -- just let me know.

Mariah: I will.

Sharon: Okay. I'll see you at home?

Nick: Yep.

Sharon: Okay.

Mariah: I didn't cause any trouble for you and Sharon, right?

Nick: Sharon and I are just fine.

Mariah: Good. I'm glad. You both have done so much for me. I'm gonna get back to work.

Nick: No. Wait. There's something else we need to talk about.

Kevin: What a surprise seeing you guys here -- again.

Michael: It wouldn't have been if you'd checked your messages.

Kevin: Sorry about that. I had my phone off. You know, even us techno rats have to go off the grid every now and again.

Michael: And here I thought you were purposefully avoiding me.

Kevin: Why would I be doing that?

Michael: Oh, so I wouldn't hassle you about not showing up for work.

Kevin: I'm here.

[Chair clangs]

Lauren: And we're glad that you are. We were getting really worried about you.

Kevin: Look, I am not gonna give Harding another excuse to write me up.

Michael: You gave him one to arrest you.

Kevin: I thanked you for getting the charges dropped. I'm here at this lame job. What -- what more do you want from me?

Michael: For you to stay out of trouble.

Kevin: Trust me -- I am not gonna do anything else to get myself thrown back in a cell.

Michael: Good, because next time, I might not be able to get you out.

Kevin: Noted. Anything else?

Michael: I just wish you would take this a little more seriously.

Kevin: Look, I said I would be on my best behavior.

Lauren: We're just saying that we understand what's going on with you, and it just seems that since Chloe left, you've just -- you've been at loose ends, and sometimes when you feel that, you do things that are not in your best interests, so --

Michael: So don't. As your attorney and as your brother, please don't.

Kevin: I won't.

Lauren: Just call us any time.

Michael: Or Gloria, if you feel really desperate.

Kevin: Jail is more appealing than that. I'm kidding. That was a joke. I will. I will call you if I need anything. But I need you to get out of here. I have work to do. Legitimate work.

Victoria: [Sighs]

Billy: Happy new year.

Victoria: Billy...

Billy: Could be. We can start fresh right now.

Victoria: I'm sorry. Mommy and daddy got a little distracted.

Billy: Or maybe he's trying to tell us something.

Victoria: Yeah, h to tell us that we should be focusing on him, right?

Billy: Or that this is right. The three of us with h little brother or sister. Together again as a family. Right?

[Computer keys clacking]

Harding: Long time, no see, fish.

Kevin: Harding. Bite me.

Harding: You know I could write you up for that?

Kevin: Go ahead. And I will shove it in your face when it goes absolutely nowhere, just like the last time you tried to bust my chops.

Harding: Oh, you are a real smartass, you know that?

Kevin: I outsmarted you.

Harding: I know you hacked into confidential files at memorial hospital.

Kevin: But you couldn't prove it, so it's kind of like it didn't happen.

Harding: You know, one of these days, fish, I am gonna wipe that smug smile off your face, and I am really gonna enjoy doing it.

Kevin: Don't you have some parking tickets to write up, Detective?

Michael: [Sighs] [Sighs]

Lauren: Here you go, my darling. Isn't this better than dining out?

Michael: [Chuckles] Much. But I do apologize for missing our reservation.

Lauren: No. Don't. Don't. I think it was very important that we saw Kevin and that we saw him at work. Now you can relax, at least for tonight, right?

Michael: Thank you for understanding.

Lauren: Of course. With the week you've had, with Nikki's trial and Kevin's arrest? [Sighs]

Michael: It takes so much out of you, fighting for a person you care about. You feel so much pressure not to let them down.

Lauren: You didn't. And you never do. Now breathe.

Michael: I can also enjoy you. I know that you've been under a lot of stress lately, the new boutiques.

Lauren: Oh, no, no, no, no, no. No, no. We're not talking shop, yours or mine. Forget it.

Michael: All right. I'll drink to that.

Lauren: Yeah. Good. We are tabling all conversations of work. Do you realize, Mr. Baldwin, that our son is in Arizona checking out his new school and there are only two people here? Us.

Michael: Us? Just the two of us? Alone?

Lauren: Mm-hmm.

Michael: With nothing else to focus on except each other?

Lauren: Yep.

Michael: Whatsoever shall we do?

Lauren: I have an idea.

[Glasses clink]

Billy: You, uh, taking a last lap around the city before you pack up and leave?

Stitch: I'm not going anywhere, Billy.

Billy: Even though nobody wants you here?

Stitch: You mean you don't want me here.

Billy: Me, Victoria, all the people at memorial. I'm sure Victor's not a fan anymore. Hey, even your good buddy Dylan seems pretty disgusted with you.

Stitch: I don't care what anybody thinks. I'm staying until Victoria knows who the father is. And depending on that answer, maybe longer.

Billy: Not if they toss your butt in jail.

Stitch: That's what you had planned all along, isn't it? Dig up something so you could get rid of me.

Billy: What can I say? Big fan of justice.

Stitch: No, you're a selfish jerk.

Billy: Lying murderer trumps that.

Victoria: Billy.

Stitch: Even if I'm not around, you think Victoria wants to take you back after what you put her through?

Billy: I will be satisfied just having you out of her life.

Victoria: Okay, stop it, both of you.

Victor: Mmm. Dr. Mead.

Dr. Mead: Mr. Newman.

Victor: Can I buy you a drink?

Dr. Mead: No. I'm meeting a colleague.

Victor: I see, I see, I see. Hopefully to help you work on Sharon's case?

Dr. Mead: If you're fishing around for information concerning Sharon's progress, I told you the last time we spoke --

Sharon: You're talking to Victor about me?

Victor: Well, now. Talk about the devil.

Michael: This reminds me of something.

Lauren: [Chuckles] What? All those nights that we were too tired to make dinner for our poor son so we had to order pizza?

Michael: Oh. The good, ol' days.

Lauren: Yeah. You know, speaking of our son, he really liked my food until you poisoned his mind.

Michael: [Chuckles] I think it was after he graduated from PB&j and Mac and cheese that he realized that you were not quite the gourmet.

Lauren: You are bad. After he gets some school food, he's gonna be begging for mama's home cooking.

Michael: Yeah, well, he'll have to wait till thanksgiving. Which means...

Lauren: Yes?

Michael: ...That we will have lots of time alone together.

Lauren: I know. I've been trying to think about what we should do as empty nesters.

Michael: Mm, mm.

Lauren: You know, maybe a cruise to Alaska that we were talking about.

Michael: Mm-hmm.

Lauren: Or Greece. Wait a minute! You owe me a second honeymoon -- in Italy.

Michael: Ah, yes. Yes, Venice.

Lauren: Hmm. Venice. I can just see us gliding down the canal with the moon out and the gondolier serenading us.

Michael: Mm-hmm. Then we step out of the boat and right into one of those quaint out-of-the-way restaurants that only the locals know about.

Lauren: That's right. We have this fabulous private table with candles going, and we're just -- we're there for hours just enjoying the pasta and the wine.

Michael: And each other.

Lauren: We're the only two people left in the restaurant. We're sharing tiramisu. And gazing into each other's eyes.

Michael: And then we stroll back to our cozy hotel room in the moonlight, and then we... make love to each other till the sun rises.

Lauren: It sounds so good. Especially the last part.

Michael: Yeah, it does, huh?

Lauren: Mm-hmm. Mm! Why don't we start our vacation right now?

Michael: You want to go to Italy tonight?

Lauren: No, you see, the boutique just got a large delivery of lingerie, and it says that it is meant to ignite any relationship. So, you know, as a conscientious retailer, I feel the need to test out every single piece [Laughing] To make sure they deliver their promise.

Michael: I hope your customers appreciate your conscientiousness. I do. I really do.

Lauren: I hope you do. I do. I will see you in the bedroom.

Mariah: What did you want to talk to me about?

Nick: Sharon accepts why you lied about your mother.

Mariah: But you don't?

Nick: I still have questions.

Mariah: Go ahead.

Nick: So, you said she's a nurse in Kentucky?

Mariah: Last I heard.

Nick: What did she want on the phone?

Mariah: Just that she needed money.

Nick: So, then she's not working?

Mariah: For all I know, she doesn't live in Kentucky anymore, either. I don't really care. I just hope that I never have to hear from her again.

Nick: And her name's Helen Copeland?

Mariah: Yeah. And if you don't mind, I'd rather not hear that again.

Nick: Okay. Look, I'm very sorry that you got a lousy mother.

Mariah: My dad was no prize, either. Or maybe he was. I don't know. He wasn't around.

Nick: That's not fair. All kids should have good parents.

Mariah: I survived.

Nick: Look, Mariah, Sharon and I, we really want to help you. But you cannot lie to us again. So if there's anything else we should know, then you should tell me right now.

Sharon: Do you know Victor?

Dr. Mead: Yes, but --

Sharon: And you spoke to him about me?

Dr. Mead: Can we talk privately?

Sharon: I would like to speak to Victor first.

Dr. Mead: I'll be at my table.

Sharon: When I saw you putting flowers on Cassie's grave, I really wanted to believe that you were sorry for what you did to me, but nothing has changed. You're still willing to do anything it takes to get this secret that I'm keeping!

Victor: I'm looking out for my family, Sharon.

Sharon: By paying my therapist to tell you what I revealed to her in session?

Victor: She has not divulged one word on what goes on in your sessions, okay?

Sharon: You really expect me to believe that?

Victor: Listen, I know that you're trying very, very hard to recover the memory that you're keeping from Nicholas.

Sharon: If you gave a damn about my well-being, you would not be invading my privacy like this.

Victor: My intention wasn't to hurt you.

Sharon: Then stay out of my life and let me recover my memories in my own time.

Victor: You're absolutely right. Trying to force to recover your memory just doesn't work.

Sharon: Oh, so you're just gonna give up just like that? Sooner or later, I'm sure that you will recover the memory on your own, you know?

[Cell phone chimes]

Sharon: Excuse me. As a matter of fact, I'd rather it be sooner rather than later.

Victoria: What is the matter with you two?

Stitch: I didn't mean to upset Johnny or you.

Billy: I'm sorry, Vic

Victoria: I don't know how either one of you can say that you love me and then behave like this.

Billy: I was out of line.

Stitch: Me too.

Victoria: Both of you know how important it is that there shouldn't be under any stress right now, and here you are arguing in front of me about who I'm gonna end up with. If I had known that you and Billy were gonna be here with Johnny, I-I would have taken another route.

Victoria: Look, if you can't handle running into each other, that's not my problem. You can see

Billy: Vick, come on. Let me just -- just --

Victoria: Please. Leave me alone and -- and don't follow me, either one of you

Lauren: All right, lover. Prepare to have your mind blown. Michael? Michael. [Sighs] [Chuckles] Well, I guess it'll just have to be in your dreams tonight. [Sighs]

[Computer keys clacking]

Kevin: [Thinking] "Though my enemy is filled with self-righteousness, he will not prevail on that fateful day when I take up arms against injustice. The badge he wears will not protect him from the forces of goodness that come to vanquish him and all others who stand in the way of truth and honor. Good will triumph over evil."

Billy: Thank you for screwing up my night with my kid.

Stitch: Don't you mean your night with Victoria?

Billy: You need to get something straight. That's my family whether you like it or not.

Stitch: Who knows? Maybe, uh, I might end up being a part of Victoria's family, too.

Billy: Your own sister and the mother of your son want nothing to do with you. What makes you think that Victoria will?

Stitch: You know, you can insult me all you want, Billy. There is nothing more you can say or do that will hurt me.

Billy: I don't give a damn about your feelings. All I care about is Victoria.

Stitch: Then we have that in common. So for her sake, how about we just stay out of each other's way, until the baby's born, at least?

Billy: That is fine by me.

Stitch: You know, there may be the possibility that after she learns the paternity of the baby, she might not want anything to do with either one of us.

Victor: Well...

Victoria: Oh.

Victor: Hi, my sweet love.

Victoria: Hey, daddy.

Victor: So...

Victoria: [Sighs]

Victor: What? Are you meeting someone for dinner?

Victoria: Uh, no, I'm just headed to the spa. I'm gonna get a massage. I need to unwind a little bit.

Victor: Uh-huh.

Victoria: Yeah.

Victor: I saw dr. Rayburn earlier.

Victoria: Oh, well, you know, dad, I really don't want to talk about Ben -- or Billy, for that matter.

Victor: Sweetheart, you're worth so much more than either of those two men. You are capable, you're beautiful, you're smart. You have so much to offer.

Victoria: You know what? Thank you. You're right.

Victor: So, what are you gonna do about it?

Victoria: I have an idea.

Victor: You gonna fill me in?

Victoria: [Chuckles] I think it'll make you happy.

Victor: Will it?

Victoria: I'll tell you later, okay?

Victor: I adore you.

Victoria: [Chuckles] Bye, dad.

Victor: [Sighs]

Mariah: I have nothing else to tell you and Sharon.

Nick: I really want to believe you, for Sharon's sake.

Mariah: You've both done so much for me. I never want to mess that up. Please believe me.

Nick: So, there's nothing left to tell us?

Mariah: Nothing. I swear.

Nick: Okay. Well, it's been a long day. Why don't you take the rest of the day off?

Mariah: Thank you for trusting me.

Nick: I'll see you at home.

Dr. Mead: I'm sorry. I had to take that. That was a patient.

Sharon: Do they know how unethical their therapist is?

Dr. Mead: Sharon, I can explain.

Sharon: You spoke to Victor about me.

Dr. Mead: True. True, but --

Sharon: Okay, that's all I need to know.

Dr. Mead: Sharon, I would never breach a professional confidence.

Sharon: You already have. You should have told me that Victor came to you. How am I ever gonna trust you again?

Dr. Mead: I --

Sharon: Don't answer that. I can't.

Dr. Mead: Sharon --

Sharon: Don't bother. You're fired.

Victor: I do not have authorization yet for Phyllis to participate in dr. Cutler's study, but I'm working on it, all right? I'll let you know as soon as I know something. Meanwhile, keep Phyllis stable. Thank you. So, did you work out everything with your doctor?

Sharon: Yes. I fired your spy. From now on, my own thoughts and private memories are off limits to you.

Victor: I see.

Sharon: There's no way you can get to them.

Victor: Oh, yeah?

Nick: What's with you, dad? Why are you --

Victoria: What did dad do this time?

Hilary: Does your new girlfriend know that you're stalking your father's wife?

Nikki: [Sobbing] They have my diary! They're shouting it to the world!
