Episode # 10468 ~ Billy & Chelsea try to define their relationship; Colin's past comes back to haunt him; Jack plans to say goodbye to Phyllis.
Provided By Suzanne
Faith: Not yet!
Nick: I think one of them's glued shut!
Faith: Open your eyes.
Nick: Wow. You look beautiful. Is today your wedding day? 'Cause if it is, I hope I get to walk you down the aisle.
Faith: Yep. And maybe I can walk you when you marry mommy.
Nick: Yeah. That's, uh -- yeah. Um... you know that your mom and I love each other a lot and we think marriage is great, but people can be together without being married. I mean, you know what I'm saying?
Faith: You mean you're too scared to get married again.
Chelsea: You have every reason to be furious with me. I deserve it. I didn't tell you about stitch. I found out that he killed someone, and I kept you out of the loop because... I like being with you -- laughing, talking, moving furniture, fixing your back. This news about stitch is all it would take for Victoria to start hating him and come running back to you, which means that you would be with her and not me.
Billy: So, that's why you didn't tell me?
Chelsea: [Sighs] When -- when did I become so needy? I swear this is not like me at all. Maybe it's just since I lost Adam and I'm afraid of being alone -- but I'm not. I'm not afraid of being alone at all. I think I just like being with you. And if you don't feel the same way --
Billy: Hey, hey, hey. Could you just shut up for a second?
Chelsea: Okay.
Billy: Chelsea, everything that you said -- I feel the same way, too. Just being with you, no matter what we're doing -- maybe it's just being with somebody who understands the best and the worst of me. I mean, my God -- it's not like there's anything I could do that would shock you at this point.
Chelsea: Considering how Johnny was conceived...
Billy: Exactly. Look, um... I miss Victoria, and I want her back. [Sighs] But being with you --
Chelsea: I know. So, now what? How do we keep doing this thing that we like while we both have other people in our hearts?
Kelly: You feel guilty about being with me?
Jack: Kelly, I --
Kelly: No, no, no, no, no. It's okay. I asked you a question. You answered honestly. I don't know what I expected you to say. You know what? No, that's not true. I think I knew what you were gonna say, but I just kind of hoped that you -- I hoped that I was wrong. God. I mean, we make love and then I come down and I find you holding the perfume that you named for the woman that you were gonna marry. You f-- you feel guilty because, deep down... you think that this is wrong. I'm not the one that you're supposed to be with.
Colin: I'm sorry for my tardiness.
Jill: Oh, I'm sure you're very upset at missing a business meeting where you might have to participate and pay attention.
Colin: Uh-huh. Questioning my devotion, hmm?
Jill: Not to profit but maybe to hard work. Darling, when they coined the word "dilettante," they were thinking of you.
Colin: Oh, you make that sound so sexy.
Jill: [Chuckles]
Kevin: Quit busting my chops, Harding. Let me bet back to work.
Harding: There are no chops being busted, fish. This is for real.
Michael: What the hell is going on?
Harding: Oh, nothing out of the ordinary. I'm just arresting your brother.
Michael: On what charges?
Harding: Theft, fraud, cyber crime, breaking into private hospital records.
Kevin: Oh, I also dropped a power bar wrapper earlier, so add littering to that. That's l-I-t-t--
Michael: Shut up, Kevin. Now, you might want to show me some evidence before you start talking about cuffing my brother.
Harding: Sticky fingers here stole the chief of surgery's medical badge and broke into private hospital records with them -- you know, like a felony. F-e-l-- you know the rest.
Kevin: [Sighs]
Stitch: Please, Victoria.
Victoria: Say it. You want me to trust you.
Stitch: Yeah, yeah, because you can, because you know me.
Victoria: Did I know that you killed somebody? You took a life. No, you killed your father -- your own father. I don't know you. What else is there to say? What am I supposed to do?
Stitch: Trust me.
Victoria: Are you insane?
Stitch: No, Victoria. Just -- just...trust what you feel for me. Trust -- trust what I feel for you. Trust that you can -- that you can have faith in me, that you can feel safe with me.
Victoria: How am I supposed to do that now?
Stitch: What happened with my father -- he wasn't a good man. He was a mean drunk, and he made a lot of people miserable.
Victoria: "What happened with my father"? That's the way that sociopaths speak, as if it was something that just happened. U killed him, and it doesn't matter if he was a terrible person. That doesn't excuse murder.
Stitch: It wasn't an option.
Victoria: There was an option -- not to take a life, not to lie to somebody and tell them that you love them.
Stitch: No. It's real. I love you, Victoria.
Victoria: No! No, you don't! You can't have it both ways! You can't -- you can't say that you love me and say that there's more to it and then not tell me. It just means you didn't trust me, and you still don't trust me, because if you did, I would know everything by now. I wouldn't have to be asking you all these questions.
[Cell phone rings]
Stitch: It's Dr. Shelby.
Victoria: Just -- I'm sure you have a life to save.
Stitch: Chief, is everything okay?
Barton: I need to see you.
Stitch: Yeah, I'm kind of in the middle of something right now.
Barton: Athletic club -- now.
Stitch: Boss wants to talk.
Victoria: [Sighs] Just go. [Sighs]
Harding: I.D. in your desk. You deny swiping it?
Michael: Ah, ah. Don't answer that. This is illegal search and seizure.
Harding: It's not illegal search if I had a legit reason to look in his desk.
Kevin: For what?! You couldn't find your own ass for the map.
Harding: Well, since you've been worse than useless lately, I was looking for a file in your desk, and I happened upon the badge, already reported stolen. You do remember that, don't you, Kev -- where I asked you to look into it and you couldn't be bothered to lift a finger? Oh, that's right -- add obstruction to the list for messing with the investigation.
Michael: Why are you so invested in this, Harding?
Kevin: Because it's what he does. He pounds on his chest and blows smoke.
Harding: No, I catch criminals, and who would have thought I had one sitting 10 feet away from me the whole time?
Kevin: Cute.
Harding: Yeah, I'm adorable, like you're gonna be in that orange jumpsuit. This case is a loser, Baldwin. Just dump it on the public defender, walk away. It's bad for your record.
Michael: Thank you for the career advice, but I need a moment with my client -- alone.
Billy: We're both kind of screwed when it comes to who we love. But the thing is... Adam's not coming back. And Victoria -- she's --
Chelsea: She's alive, which means, no matter what, you got a shot.
Billy: At least I hope so.
Chelsea: You do. And you have to go for it, no matter how much fun this is.
Billy: This is more than fun, Chelsea.
Chelsea: You're right. It is. But it has to end, Billy. At this point, we're just -- we're just messing with our own heads.
Billy: Look, I never meant to lead you on.
Chelsea: No, no. I'm not blaming you, but it does have to stop. No more fixing your back, and to be clear, when I say that, I'm talking about sex.
Billy: Yeah, I got that the first time. All right. So, we're agreed? So, no more back-fixing or handshaking.
Chelsea: No more games. No more -- no more anything. Oh. This belongs to you now. It's everything Kevin was able to pull up on stitch. Whatever you do with it, it's up to you.
Billy: [Sighs]
Jack: This is love. This is good and strong. We just proved that upstairs.
Kelly: Well, upstairs was great -- it always is -- but chemistry is one thing. Emotions are another. And if you still feel so emotionally connected to Phyllis that being with me makes you feel like you're cheating on her, I need to know that.
Jack: You said you need to find a way to move on. It made me wonder just how ready I am to move on. I'm still attached to Phyllis...
Kelly: Okay.
Jack: ...Whether through Summer or history or the way I will always feel about her.
Kelly: That's understandable. I mean, you were supposed to be married to her, right, by now? And I suppose I expected to still be married with a son. Maybe I'd have a-another beautiful little boy or a girl by this point. But when that went away... I didn't expect to be happy again like this, have a second chance at magical love.
Jack: That's the right word. It has been magical, from our very first date, watching you close your eyes and just drink in the music in the park. You woke me up. You brought me out of the dark. You helped me be the father that Summer needs. But it can be so much more. We could have so much more.
Kelly: But... we're not there yet, are we?
Jack: No, we're not.
Dr. Burnett: Your fiancé feels music might be the way to bring you back. Feel free to prove him right.
Colin: If you want me with my nose to the grindstone, fine, but it's gonna play hell with my looks.
Jill: Hey, angel, nobody wants you anywhere near the boardroom or the boutique.
Colin: So, it's my money you're after, eh?
Jill: Mm-hmm. Yeah, your money that's in our bank account, which neither one of us earned.
Colin: Well, you know, if you hadn't got all upset and hurled something at me, that necklace may have stayed hidden forever.
Jill: Hurled?
Colin: Yeah, hurled.
Jill: You know what I love? I love that my desire to injure you is what made all of our dreams come true.
Colin: Ah, yes.
Jill: We have the diamond necklace. We have the insurance money. Now you are a member of the family business. And we all have our place in this.
Colin: Yeah, and my place is with you, in first class. Part of the reason I'm late -- I picked up these two tickets to the west indies.
Jill: A trip?
Colin: Yeah, call it a honeymoon.
Jill: Aw, really?
Colin: Yeah, really. Now, listen -- let's get out of here and pack, hmm?
Jill: We don't have to pack. We can just buy all our clothes there, okay? Come to that, let's fly private.
Colin: I like that.
Jill: I was kidding, honey. I was kidding, all right?
Colin: Well, listen -- maybe you were. I picked out a dress for you from our boutique.
Jill: Our boutique? The boutique that you invested in hasn't even been built yet?
Colin: Well, you have a boutique in town, and so I figured, you know, what's yours is mine and mine is yours.
Jill: Oh, there -- there it is. Now I get it. I'm paying for these.
Colin: Yeah. Ohh.
Jill: [Laughs] That's what I thought.
Colin: Yes.
Jill: That's my boy.
Michael: [Chuckles] What is this -- a cry for help? I thought you were holding it together.
Kevin: Who says I'm not?
Michael: You stole a doctor's I.D. You broke into files. You lied to an officer of the law. What part of that is rational.
Kevin: I can't go to jail, Michael.
Michael: I know you can't, but you sure have an odd way of going about it. What were you doing?
Kevin: I was doing someone a favor.
Michael: A favor? You know what? You help someone move as a favor. You take someone to the airport as a favor. You don't commit a crime.
Kevin: That's good advice -- for next time.
Michael: Is that a confession?
Kevin: Who's asking -- my brother or my lawyer?
Michael: You want attorney-client privilege, fine. Tell me more about your friend, you tell me more about your mission, and you tell me how someone with a rap sheet like yours gets in trouble with the law again.
Billy: Oh, and look here -- "have you ever been convicted of a felony?" He answers, "no"? This isn't some oversight or a bad call. That's a crime. I mean, he can go back to jail for that.
Chelsea: If the authorities are given this information or if they piece it together on their own.
Billy: Well, at the very least, Rayburn loses his medical license.
Chelsea: If this guy had half a brain, he would leave town and never look back.
Nick: How's the tea? Sweet enough?
Faith: So, you and mommy are scared?
Nick: I'm not scared of anything -- especially tea. You know, in the old days, I could fake you out by just changing the subject, but you're getting too grown up now. Like right now -- you're not faked out at all, are you? All right, kid. Here's the deal. Your mom and I are very happy with the way things are, without the wedding. How 'bout you?
Faith: I want to be mommy's flower girl -- or maid of honor.
[Knock on door, door opens]
Victoria: Hi!
Nick: Hey.
Victoria: Hey. I'm so sorry I didn't call first.
Nick: It's all right.
Victoria: [Smooches]
Faith: I want to be maid of honor.
Victoria: Wow! You are gonna make a beautiful maid of honor. Is there something I should know?
Nick: No, just hypothetical.
Victoria: Oh, of course. But you look so beautiful in that dress. Sometimes make-believe is better than the real thing.
Nick: Are you okay?
Faith: The baby's in there, isn't it?
Victoria: Yeah, he is -- or she.
Faith: If it's a girl, she can be my flower girl someday.
Nick: What if it's a boy? Another Newman man.
Faith: Boys are ring bearers. Uncle Billy can teach him how to tie a tie 'cause that's what dads do.
Nick: All right, kiddo. Let's lose the fancy dress. We are going swimming soon, right?
Faith: Right.
Nick: Right.
Victoria: [Sighs]
Nick: What's going on? Did you get the paternity results for the baby?
Victoria: Nope.
Nick: "Nope" 'cause they weren't ready?
Victoria: [Sighs] I didn't take the test. I know. I know. I said I would.
Nick: That baby's gonna have a father, whether you want to know who it is or not.
Victoria: I was never supposed to be able to have this baby. He or she is my miracle. So, why can't we just be enough?
Nick: Look, I'm not judging you, and I'm not telling you what to do.
Victoria: Knowing who the father is ties me to somebody that I don't trust either way, and I don't want that for this baby. I don't want it for me.
Nick: You deserve this baby, and you deserve some peace and calm, so forget those guys and forget this test. Just focus on this miracle that's coming. Be grateful.
Stitch: Sir.
Barton: Doctor.
Stitch: I imagine you've heard a few things about me recently.
Barton: Yes, an earful, which is why I can officially say congratulations, Dr. Rayburn.
Colin: I think it's time to try on the dress. Come on. I'll work the zipper.
Jill: Look at your eyes at the thought of that.
Colin: I take that as a "yes."
Jill: You can take it as a "no." We'd never get out of the dressing room. Oh, hello. Please don't let this man get too drunk. I'm gonna need him later.
[Both chuckle]
Colin: She's joking.
Jill: I'm not!
Colin: Let the bubbly flow, my good man. Oh, Kurtz. Slumming it, I see. Look, I really wouldn't go throwing that around in public, you know.
Kurtz: It's a fake.
Colin: Come on. That's ridiculous. Katherine Chancellor had more money than God. She wouldn't mess with a glass bauble. I refuse to believe I was conned.
Kurtz: Your debt is back on the books, with interest -- 24 hours. After that, I'll go to your wife.
Jack: We can't go forward the way things are now. We can't. It would be wrong.
Kelly: Is this about Ben... or about -- or about Phyllis? Or maybe that's all just some noble excuse, you know? Maybe this is all because you were once a notorious playboy and I fell for your act like a dithering ingénue. Jack, I asked you what would happen if Phyllis woke up. I can't keep asking you that. I can't keep -- keep wondering if -- how I'm gonna feel if something good happens for you or something tragic.
Jack: What is it you think I'm saying?
Kelly: I-I don't know. I-I -- [Sighs] I mean, you need a break or --
Jack: No, no, no, no. Wait, wait, wait. Stop, stop, stop, stop. Slow d-- Kelly, slow down. This is a difficult situation. We can get through this.
Kelly: I don't understand, though. Together or -- or separately? You just said that you're not ready, and... [Voice breaking] And then a minute ago, you were saying that I'm a new chapter in your life. I don't understand. Which is it?
Jack: I understand your being confused. I do. It's the same way I feel every time the damn phone rings.
Kelly: [Crying] Um, is that supposed to be less confusing?
Jack: I was talking about a year ago. Every time the phone would ring, I would get this feeling... it's her. She's awake. She's coming back to me. I mean, that spark would dissipate as soon as I answered and found out it wasn't her on the other end. So I went for months -- months. And eventually, I-I came to realize... [Voice breaking] Maybe she's not coming back. But the phone would still ring, and I'd still get that rush of hope. It still happens. Only, the last couple of months, that hope has been accompanied by a kind of dread. What if, by some miracle, she woke up? What would I do? Would I tell Kelly? You see, I want her to come back, but I don't want this to end.
Kelly: Well, that's the confusing part, isn't it?
Jack: And I don't want that for either of us. I don't want to run the gamut of emotions every time the phone rings. So, it's time. It's time to finally, completely let go of the past.
Kevin: I did something that I have done for the department many times. "Hey, fisher, work your hacking magic. Just don't tell us about it." So, it's okay if I do it for the cops, just not if I do it for a friend.
Michael: You stole the doctor's I.D. badge, in essence, impersonating a doctor, and then you broke into hospital files.
Kevin: And who cares about the lives at stake? Nice.
Michael: What lives?
Kevin: Ben Rayburn is a killer and a liar. It's not even his real name. It is in the public interest to know what he is capable of.
Michael: Oh. So, you have the public's interest in mind? Suddenly, you've become the defender of truth, justice, and the Genoa City way?
Kevin: Yeah, that's right.
Michael: Stop it. Don't make what you're doing sound noble. Look, you had an itch. Chloe's gone. You're depressed. This is your drug -- hacking and stealing. You got a rush, didn't you? A high that blotted out everything else for a little while.
Kevin: Ben Rayburn is going to get what he deserves.
Barton: I did get an earful about you, and the hospital board thinks you're the right doctor to be chief resident.
Stitch: When you called, I didn't think it was about this.
Barton: You knew we were fast-tracking you for the job. You have exceptional skills, doctor, and an equally exceptional character. That's a rare find. Most doctors don't possess both those qualities. That's exactly what memorial hospital needs and our patients deserve.
Stitch: I-I appreciate all that. I-I-I do, but...
Barton: Is that false modesty I'm hearing, doctor? Modesty doesn't save lives. Boldness does, courage, respect for life.
Stitch: I understand that, sir.
Barton: Good. Well, the job is yours, then. It's time to celebrate.
Nick: All right. Do you need me to tell Billy and stitch to beat it -- you know, just back off? 'Cause I'll do it.
Victoria: You know what? I'm your older sister. I think I should be looking out for you.
Nick: No, no, no. You got some of these? Be careful. They'll get you.
Victoria: No.
Nick: Until you do...
Victoria: [Laughs] You don't have to beat up Billy or Ben for me. It's okay. The occasional tea party is nice. You know, I automatically came looking for you.
Nick: Well, you know, if I was in the same situation, I'd be looking for you, too.
Faith: I have a present for the baby. I'm too old for these now.
Nick: Oh.
Victoria: Oh, thanks! Ohh. He or she will love this stuff. Thank you.
Faith: I think it has to be a girl. Delia had a brother. She would want a baby sister now.
Billy: Thank you... for the file.
Chelsea: Like I said, no more games -- just confessions that make me feel stupid.
Billy: You never have to feel stupid when you're with me.
Chelsea: You say things like that, and I know it's true. And it makes me wish things were different, but I can't wish things like that because it wouldn't be good for either of us. So, that's why I gave you the file. You deserve to know who's spending time with your wife and your son, so...go. Make sure Victoria never spends any time with stitch ever again.
Billy: What about Adam? You feel the same way?
Chelsea: Adam's gone.
Billy: Yeah, but after everything he did, would you take him back?
Chelsea: I loved Adam... very much -- all of him -- his faults, his pride, the way he loved me, but... after what happened with Delia, it's just --
Billy: It sucks. [Sighs] You can't control who you love.
Chelsea: No, you can't. So, why are you still here? Why aren't you halfway to's with that file right now?
Jill: I would say that the dress is too risqué, but who am I fooling? I love it.
Colin: Jill, do you know that you are an absolute gem? I mean, that's a fact.
Jill: Wow. You're very serious. Makes me nervous.
Colin: Can't a man compliment his wife and tell her how much he loves her?
Jill: Do you want me to tell you the same thing? 'Cause you already have the proof. I used a fake necklace to file a false insurance claim to take the target off your back, and if that ain't love, I don't know what is.
Colin: No, it was -- an act of pure love. It saved my hide. And I would have done the same for you. Our vows -- that said it all -- "to protect and serve."
Jill: [Laughs] Darlin', that's the police, you dope.
Colin: Well, whatever. I owe you one.
Jill: You owe me millions.
Colin: Which is why we got to get on that flight -- sandy beaches, drinks with umbrellas in them, and you with nothing on except perfume.
Jill: Ah, okay. I'll grab the tickets. Okay.
Colin: [Sighs]
Chelsea: You're still here.
Billy: Yeah, well, suddenly I don't know what to do with this.
Chelsea: The man in that file wants your wife, Billy. What is there to decide?
Billy: Rayburn is scum. That's not up for debate. And he doesn't deserve his career or his medical license. He sure as hell doesn't deserve Victoria. A big bomb is dropping. The guy's a murderer. If that's not enough to keep Victoria away, then I don't know what is. This just...feels like overkill.
Chelsea: Ammunition is ammunition. If Victoria is, in fact, pregnant with stitch's baby, I mean, that's gonna be a really hard connection to break.
Billy: Not me and Victoria -- or me and Chloe, for that matter.
Chelsea: That's why the file is so important. You need the file to get the woman you want.
Billy: You are not some consolation prize. And, yeah, how we met was insane, and everything that happened afterwards. But now you're this amazing woman who's in my corner and doesn't see me as some jerk.
Chelsea: You're not a jerk. I want you to be happy, Billy. I want you to have what you want.
Billy: You, too.
Chelsea: I'm gonna check on Connor again, so I think you should go.
Michael: What do you think Dr. Rayburn deserves?
Kevin: I'll tell you what he doesn't deserve -- great job, beautiful girlfriend, possibly a baby on the way.
Michael: And you think you deserve those things?
Kevin: I'm not having a pity party.
Michael: When Delia died --
Kevin: I just said I'm not having a pity party.
Michael: We know what Billy lost. We know what Chloe lost. But we never talk about what you lost. You loved that little girl -- a woman that you hoped to spend the rest of your days with.
Kevin: Yeah, fine, fine. Okay. A year ago, I didn't think this was where I would be.
Michael: Well, all that time and energy and love you put into trying to save Chloe -- now you're just gonna lose yourself.
Kevin: That's not true. This is who I am. We both know it.
Michael: Bitter, angry, and making bad choices -- that's just you circa five years ago.
Kevin: Michael, it's not that bad. I did a little bit of hacking for the right reasons.
Michael: And identity theft.
Kevin: Meh. Bump in the road. You've gotten me out of worse before. It's what you do.
Michael: I do this because I'm your brother and I care, not because I'm your own personal ticket-fixer. I'm not gonna stand by and watch you go through your own personal death spiral, so stop it. Come back -- now.
Kevin: I need a lawyer right now, Michael, not a shrink. Are you gonna help me or not?
Harding: Time's up. Come on, fish. Let's add a new mug shot to your collection.
Michael: Harding, you have had it out for my brother from day one, for months now. The whole squad room knows. How would it look if I suggest to the judge that you planted that evidence?
Harding: Did you just threaten me, counselor?
Michael: Your chain of evidence is flimsy, at best.
Harding: Chief Williams keeps this one around as a pet. But Paul's not here right now, so we do things my way. I'm putting the mutt in his cage.
Kevin: You cannot lock me up!
Harding: Look, you can bark all you want. The judge won't be able to hear you from your holding cell.
Kevin: Mi-Michael, Michael, I can't go in there.
Michael: All right, listen. Listen. I will get you out -- it will be okay, all right? -- Soon.
Harding: Come on.
Kelly: How do you propose that we do that -- let the past go?
Jack: That's the question that keeps me awake at night. I don't know. Maybe... we do it in small ways. Maybe -- here. Maybe big ways.
Kelly: Your inviting me to your family dinner was -- was pretty big, right? Trial by fire? And not revealing what I told you about my brother... right away. Look, you have proved your love to me in so many ways, Jack. What's it gonna take for you to be ready to move ahead?
Jack: I don't think I have a choice. I think I have to leave you.
Kelly: Leave me? Why? You're going to Georgia?
Jack: I have to tell Phyllis. I have to see her. I have to tell her...about you, about us.
Kelly: Jack, are you sure? I mean, the way that you feel about her, to -- to have to say the words...
Jack: I have to say the words. I-I don't know that she'll understand or even hear me, but to pretend it doesn't exist -- I can't do that. That's wrong. That's an insult. It's... you are not some secret I have to keep. Everyone that matters to me knows about us. Everyone I care about, including Summer, knows how I feel about you. It's time I tell Phyllis face-to-face. That's how we're gonna move on.
Dr. Burnett: Response to audio stimulus -- no further brainwave activity. Vitals are strong, but patient shows no progress. Pending family approval, a suitable candidate for Dr. Cutler's trial.
Kevin: So, two minutes with my lawyer and then a cell?
Michael: What do you expect when you leave evidence in your desk drawer in a squad room?
Kevin: I can't do this, Michael.
Michael: Listen, I'm gonna try and fast-track your arraignment and get you out on bond before you ever see the inside of a cell.
Kevin: Good. Thank you.
Michael: Don't thank me. Just get ahold of yourself. Stop making excuses and giving yourself permission to screw up.
Kevin: Well, that's supportive.
Michael: I'm not gonna let you go down the rabbit hole, so you might as well snap out of it.
Kevin: Okay, look -- I don't want to see the inside of a cell again, but --
Michael: Please stop at "but."
Kevin: But Ben Rayburn does not deserve a free pass, okay? I was doing Chelsea a favor. She's one of my last connections to Chloe, and I would do it again.
Chelsea: Yes, she was. She did this crazy thing called "putting other people first." You didn't know your mommy before, but it's something I didn't do a lot of in the old days. I did a really unselfish thing. Yay.
Victoria: Thank you so much, faith. The baby's gonna love all these things, whether it's a boy or a girl.
Nick: All right, beautiful. We need towels, goggles, and sunscreen, and let's go to the pool.
Faith: Yay!
Nick: Sorry. She just gets excited, says stuff.
Victoria: What? Are you kidding me? It's okay. I love that this baby's gonna have cousins to love and play with, whoever the father turns out to be.
Nick: Yeah. I mean, built-in playmates and sitters, but I saw your face when she mentioned Billy's name.
Victoria: Nah. You know, she just doesn't know how to put it into words. She just wants Billy to be happy again. This baby could do that for Billy.
Nick: Well, I'm not worried about Billy. I'm only worried about you. And I want you happy and I want you to do whatever it takes to get there.
Victoria: I wish I knew what that was.
Barton: Lemonade, because either of us could get called in to work. But we wouldn't have it any other way, would we, doctor?
Stitch: No, sir.
Barton: To Dr. Ben Rayburn, memorial's newest chief resident and the best damn decision this hospital's ever made. What did I tell you about false modesty?
Stitch: No. Uh... sir, there's something you should know.
Billy: Hey, there. Would you mind if I join you?
