Episode # 10453 ~ Nikki & Michael get ready to battle with Ian Ward; Austin and Summer work on wedding plans.

Provided By Suzanne

Sharon: Did you get any more sleep since I got up?

Nick: A little.

Sharon: You tossed and turned all night.

Nick: I kept having the same dream over and over again.

Sharon: Do you want to tell me about it?

Nick: Summer was sick, and she was in the hospital and she needed some blood or a transplant or something and... whatever it was, Noah stepped up.

Sharon: Of course he did.

Nick: Then the doctor told him that only the father could be the donor. So Jack stepped forward, and... then they told him that he wasn't a match. So then they looked at me.

Kelly: Okay, we are all set. This is gonna be a great event. Jack.

Jack: I'm -- I'm sorry.

Kelly: You having second thoughts about telling the D.A. You think Summer's marriage is fraudulent?

Jack: Summer really gave me no choice. I tried to reason with her. She wouldn't listen.

Kelly: She's a teenager, Jack.

Jack: If we were arguing about curfew or body piercing, I would find a way to compromise. It is her life we are talking about.

Kelly: I understand your concern, but...

Jack: "But" what?

Kelly: But I think backing her into a corner isn't the best way to go.

Jack: If the threat of getting arrested isn't enough to wake her up, I don't know what is.

Abby: You're having Summer arrested?

Austin: Morning.

Summer: Hey.

Austin: I was hoping that would cheer you up.

Summer: Sorry. I'm just thinking.

Austin: About your dad threatening to end our marriage?

Summer: No, about what he said that you were planning to do.

Austin: Look, Jack twisted my words around.

Summer: So you're not planning on divorcing me if you get convicted?

Austin: My trial hasn't even started yet. Why are we talking about things that happen after?

Summer: Because if you're planning on dumping me, then maybe Jack's right. You don't love me. You just married me so that I wouldn't be able to testify against you.

Austin: Your dad's trying to get to you, okay? Don't let him.

Summer: Just answer the question. Are you going to divorce me if you're sent to prison?

Austin: I don't want to see you hurt.

Summer: Don't you think that your not wanting to be with me is gonna hurt me?

Austin: Of course I want to be with you. I want to be with you forever. But I can't stand the thought of you throwing your life away waiting for me for years and years.

Summer: I don't care. I love you.

Austin: I love you, too! I've never said that to a girl before.

Summer: Say it again.

Austin: I love you, Summer.

Summer: Let's prove it. Let's show the world how much we love each other.

Avery: Let's get u on the couch.

Dylan: [Sighs]

Avery: Dylan.

Dylan: Last time I was here, I was panicked and looking for you.

Avery: Okay, but you found me. I'm right here in front of you.

Dylan: Avery, I'm sorry.

Avery: Why?

Dylan: I should have figured out that it was Austin who was stalking you. I trained for stuff like this. I tracked insurgents in Afghanistan, and I didn't see a guy who was right under my nose!

Avery: I'm right here. I'm fine, okay? I don't want to think about anything in the past right now. I want to think about you getting better. And you need to promise me that that's what you care about, too.

[Door opens]

Michael: Hey!

Nikki: Oh! Michael, I'm so glad you're here. I'm just anxious to get this whole lawsuit settled and we can get Ian out of our lives for good.

Michael: It, uh, might not be that simple.

Nikki: The very idea of it is just ludicrous. I mean, to say that I caused him emotional distress?!

Michael: His suit claims that you used him to hide the truth from Paul, that he would have loved Dylan as his own, and when he found out that he wasn't his son, it caused him undue pain.

Nikki: Well, believe me, he isn't suffering because he lost his son. He is in pain because he can't use Dylan to get his hands on Newman money.

Michael: Well, he's gonna y to do this damndest to convince the jury otherwise.

Nikki: And Paul is the one who suffered. Ian knew that he wasn't Dylan's father, and he didn't say anything. Paul could have died without knowing the truth.

Michael: You know, I think what Ward is doing with this lawsuit is deplorable, but in a court of law, it's gonna be your word again his, so you need to be prepared for anything, Nikki. Anything.

Nikki: [Sighs]

Kelly: I have to get going. I've got to set up for the Jabot event this afternoon.

Jack: Actually, Abby's right behind you. She's representing the cosmetics division today.

Kelly: Oh, wonderful. Um, we'll finish our conversation later? Okay.

Abby: Okay, I am not going anywhere until you tell me why you have completely lost your mind. Having Summer arrested? Really?

Jack: I'm not the crazy one here, believe me.

Abby: I thought you were gonna talk to her calmly and reasonably about her involvement with Austin. What happened to that?

Jack: I'll tell you what happened. I found out she was at the family cabin, so I went there to have a calm and reasonable conversation with her about her relationship with a man who has been charged with kidnapping and attempted murder. Guess who came out of the bathroom with a towel on?

Abby: Austin.

Jack: Yeah, the accused felon himself. Before I could throw him out, he told me he's Summer's husband.

Abby: They're married? Why would Summer do something so crazy?

Jack: So she wouldn't have to testify against him. It's a sham, this marriage. That's why I went to Christine.

Abby: You want her to declare the marriage fraudulent.

Jack: Abby, I realize this is extreme. I had to do something. It's like this man has destroyed her ability to think clearly or think at all. It's like he's got some kind of hold on her or something.

Abby: He does.

Jack: What?

Abby: Uh, he, uh, he's Summer's first. Austin is the first guy that Summer slept with.

Summer: No, no, no, no. That is not what I was talking about when I said I wanted us to prove our love.

Austin: Oh, so you know a better way?

Summer: Hmm, Jack thinks that our marriage is a fraud, okay, and so does my dad. So does Noah and Courtney. I mean, even faith says that our wedding wasn't a real wedding.

Austin: She's just a kid.

Summer: No, I know, but she's right. And I don't regret eloping at all, but I just want everyone to know that our commitment to each other is based on something true and real.

Austin: So... what are you saying?

Summer: I'm saying that I want us to stand up in front of friends and family and God and tell everyone that we're together because we really do love each other.

Austin: You want to get married again?

Summer: Yeah. But in a church this time with flowers and a minister and a real wedding dress. What do you say?

Dylan: Shouldn't you be at work?

Avery: Leslie's got it covered. So you relax. I have all your favorites in the fridge. How about I make you some breakfast?

Dylan: As long as it's better than the hospital food.

Avery: Ah, it will be. And let's see -- I have made a playlist of your favorite music. I've queued up on the television some of those movies that you wanted to see, including that awful "aliens destroys the world" one.

Dylan: [Chuckles] Well, that describes every movie that I want to see.

Avery: It does. So, what shall we do first? Food, music, or incredibly bad cinema?

Dylan: Hmm. That's a tough one.

[Cell phone rings]

Avery: Hold on. [Sighs] Hi, Marcus. No, absolutely not. Are you serious? Well, I am done with the cooking show. Yeah, I'm not gonna change my mind. Okay. Goodbye. Can you believe he wanted to start taping again?

Dylan: [Sighs] The show must go on, right?

Avery: Marcus said that the website has had more hits since I was kidnapped and Paul was shot than ever. Can you believe Marcus wanted to cash in on this tragedy?

Nikki: All right, now look, I don't want to have any "he said, she said" battle in the courtroom with Ian.

Michael: If we go to trial, we won't be able to avoid that.

Nikki: Well, I know. That's why I wanted to meet with you here now before Ian and his attorney get here. I don't want to go to trial.

Michael: Victor stated very clearly that he does not want to settle.

Nikki: Well, that's too bad. Ian is suing me, not Victor. And I-I don't want to waste any more time or energy on that snake. I just want him out of our lives so I can get back to mine and help my son develop a relationship with his father.

Michael: Paul. I'm still trying to wrap my head around that.

Nikki: Yeah, well, so am I.

Michael: That's going to affect a lot of people's lives.

Nikki: I mean, I'm not sorry that Dylan is Paul's son and not Ian's.

Michael: I understand that.

Nikki: I just want Ian out of our lives.

[Door opens]

Nikki: To make that happen.

Ian: Hello, Nicole. Mr. Baldwin. I believe you know my attorney.

Nikki: David?

David: Hello, Nikki. Michael.

Michael: You're representing this gentleman?

David: Mr. Ward is my client.

Nikki: I've known you all your life. Your father was one of Katherine's dearest friends.

David: Yes, he was her attorney for many years, but I am not my father.

Michael: Clearly.

Nikki: You did this on purpose. You're trying to get to me.

Ian: I merely secured the best counsel I could. Shall we get started?

Michael: Yes. Nikki. Started and finished. My client is prepared to settle if you'll give us a number.

Ian: It saddens me to see the person you've become, Nicole. You think everything has a price, even human suffering.

Nikki: Just tell me what you want.

Ian: I want what I always want, Nicole -- an honest, open dialogue. The only way to move ahead is by pursuing the truth.

Nikki: The truth is, I didn't set out to hurt anybody like you did.

Ian: But you have.

Nikki: Oh, if you want to talk about yourself, that's an entirely different matter.

Ian: Put me aside for the moment. Look at what you've done to Paul. He's missed out on his son's entire life.

Michael: And yet he's not filing a lawsuit.

Nikki: I am sorry that Paul missed out on years with his son, but I didn't intentionally keep the truth from him like you did.

Ian: I never lied to Paul.

Nikki: Oh, yes, you did. You knew that you couldn't have children. You pretended to be Dylan's father knowing it couldn't be true.

Ian: Dylan came to me. He insisted that I was his father, and he had dates and facts about us that you gave him. I assumed that I was the only one who could possibly be his father. But then that was before I knew what kind of a woman you are.

Nikki: All right, I'm not gonna listen to this kind of stuff. I'm not listening.

Ian: When you were at new world, I thought you were a sweet, young, innocent girl.

Nikki: Oh, yeah, just the way you like 'em, right?

Ian: But you fooled me, Nicole. You were sleeping with Paul and God knows who else.

Michael: Okay, that's enough. Can you please?

Nikki: You are a lying, vile bastard!

David: Control your client, please.

Michael: You might take the same advice.

Ian: The path you took after you left us, stripping in front of men for money --

Michael: All right, that's enough.

Ian: All of that leading to excessive drinking and drug abuse.

Nikki: Shut up! Do you hear me?! Shut up!

Michael: Do not respond. We need to stay calm about this.

Nikki: I cannot talk to this man! Shut up!

Michael: All right, sit. Sit.

Nikki: [Sighs]

Nick: I mean, Jack's coming to me for answers. They're answers a father should have.

Sharon: The advice you gave him was really good.

Nick: [Sighs] I don't know. I just wish...

Sharon: What?

Nick: I just wish I could be the kind of father that I used to be to Summer.

Sharon: Nick, even if the question of Summer's paternity had never come up, you couldn't be the father that you used to be to her. Summer is not a little girl anymore. A kiss and a band-aid doesn't fix everything.

Nick: You think I would have learned that by now. The harder you try to hold on to them, the easier it is for them to slip away.

Sharon: And letting go is terrifying.

Nick: I just wish there was something I could do or say to her, but I promised her I'd stay out of it.

Sharon: That doesn't mean that I have to.

Courtney: Do you know what this is about?

Noah: I don't know. Summer said that she wanted to talk to us in person.

Courtney: Great. Is he gonna be here?

Noah: I think so. Try not to shoot him this time?

Courtney: No promises.

Noah: Thought you and Summer worked it out.

Courtney: Kind of. I told her I'd try not to hate him and I'd try to support her, but I didn't say I'd sit down and chat with the guy.

[Door opens]

Noah: Well, it looks like you're about to get the chance to do just that.

Summer: Hey. Thanks for meeting with us.

Austin: Hey, guys.

Noah: Hoping you have some good news for us.

Summer: Yeah, we do. Um, Austin and I are getting married.

Courtney: But aren't you already married?

Summer: Legally, yeah, but we wanted to make it official.

Austin: Right.

Noah: What does that even mean?

Summer: Well, we want to get married in a church in front of everyone who loves us, and... that means even if it's only you two.

Courtney: So, what? Do that mean you haven't told anybody else?

Summer: We just want people there who support our relationship, and I really hope that that includes you guys.

Courtney: When are you planning on doing this?

Summer: This afternoon. You guys come, please?

Courtney: This afternoon? We're really busy, Summer.

Summer: Courtney.

Noah: Summer, the truth is... I can't think of any reason to support your relationship with this guy.

Summer: I love Austin, okay? I thought that'd be enough for the people who claim to love me.

Jack: You really think Travers being Summer's first is that big a deal?

Abby: Are guys really this clueless?

Jack: Yeah, I guess.

Abby: Uncle Jack, for a girl, your first time, it's major. Like, majorly major. And once you've done it, it's like he's the only person in the whole world who exists.

Jack: That's the way it was for your first?

Abby: I'll let you know when that happens.

Jack: That actually makes sense, that Summer would look for someone to build her world around when her world was blown apart. The man she thought was her father turns out not to be, she loses her mother. It makes sense that she'd do this. I just hate that she did this with this guy.

Abby: And now that they've slept together, I'm sure that sex and love and all of those feelings are mixed together, and when you're hot for a bad boy... I just hope that Summer doesn't make the same mistakes that I did.

Jack: I can't take that chance. That's why I called Christine.

Abby: And I understand why you did that, but...

Jack: Go ahead. "But" what?

Abby: I mean, having your daughter arrested because she married some guy you don't like? I mean, that's the kind of thing that my father would do. Are you really ready to live with that and the consequences?

Courtney: Summer, come on. Don't act like that. It's not like we don't love you.

Austin: Yeah? Well, I'm no expert on love, but I'm sure that the real kind comes with no strings. So, show up to the wedding or don't. Doesn't matter. Summer and I will be there with or without you.

Noah: [Sighs]

Austin: Come on, Summer. Let's go.

Abby: Uh, hey.

Summer: Hey.

Abby: Can I talk to you? Alone?

Summer: Whatever you have to say to me, you can say it in front of my husband.

Abby: [Sighs] Fine. I just came from talking to Uncle Jack. He's not backing down. He's willing to have you arrested for perpetrating a fraud.

Summer: My marriage to Austin is real, and so is my love for him.

Abby: What you feel might be real, but, Summer, this guy is using you.

Austin: You don't even know me.

Abby: Get an annulment before it's too late.

Summer: I am getting married, Abby.

Abby: I thought you already were.

Summer: Yeah, well, we're doing it right this time -- in a church today, and I don't care if nobody shows up. I love Austin, and he loves me, and nothing that anybody says or does can change that.

Nick: Summer wouldn't listen to Jack. She wouldn't listen to me. Noah even tried talking to her.

Sharon: Well, maybe she needs a woman's perspective. And since Phyllis can't be here and Avery's busy with Dylan, why not me?

Nick: You have enough on your plate, Sharon.

Sharon: No, I want to do this for you and for Summer and... for Phyllis.

Nick: For Phyllis?

Sharon: Yeah, I feel like I owe her.

Nick: Wow. [Scoffs] I never thought I'd hear you say that.

Sharon: I can't explain it. It's just a feeling I have. Like...I need to do this.

Dylan: You are gonna spoil me.

Avery: Well, that is the idea. Mmm. You just got released from the hospital.

Dylan: Well, you know, in the army, they release you and send you right back into combat, and this is a whole lot easier.

Avery: Well... the doctor told you not to exert yourself.

Dylan: Mmm. I will take it very slowly.

[Cell phone rings]

Dylan: You're not home.

Avery: [Sighs] Yeah. Hello? Oh, I am so sorry. I completely forgot. Yeah, uh, I'll have to call you back and reschedule. Okay, thank you.

Dylan: Was that work?

Avery: No, I had a mani/pedi scheduled.

Dylan: [Chuckles] Okay, uh, you chose me over your feet?

Avery: I did.

Dylan: Wow.

Avery: Yeah.

Dylan: That's impressive. I'm touched.

Avery: [Laughs]

Dylan: Now, let me give you a foot massage.

Avery: What? What are you doing?

Dylan: Just let me do this.

Avery: I'm supposed to be taking care of you.

Dylan: Are you really gonna pass up one of my famous foot massages?

Avery: Well... oh, if it gets your mind off of other things.

Dylan: I can't guarantee that

Avery: Oh.

[Cell phone chimes]

Avery: [Chuckles]

Dan: You are not available.

Avery: I am so unavailable! [Sighs] Why'd you stop? What's wrong?

Dylan: Why is Leslie texting you about Austin's case?

Abby: We have to stop her!

Courtney: You really think that's possible

Abby: We can't just do nothing.

Courtney: Kind of looks like it's already happening, Abby.

Noah: Yeah, I don't think the whole "does anybody object?" Part is gonna be in the ceremony.

Abby: Right? There'd be a whole long line of people not holding their peace. We cannot let her go through with this. Marrying a criminal again? Okay, Noah, why aren't you agreeing with me?

Noah: I just can't help but wondering if this is about more than your concern for Summer.

Abby: Like what?

Noah: Like maybe you're upset because you were the one that was supposed to be walking down the aisle.

Abby: That is ridiculous. If my feelings about my broken engagement are coloring this somehow, I mean, it's not because I'm jealous. It's because I do not want Summer to get hurt.

Noah: Neither do I.

Abby: And if we don't get through to her, that's exactly what's gonna happen.

Kelly: Hi.

Jack: Hey, aren't you supposed to be at the club getting ready for the event?

Kelly: It's okay. Everything's almost done. Need to speak to you.

Jack: Something wrong?

Kelly: I saw Summer at the club with Austin. They're planning a wedding, a real one, in a church with a minister and friends.

Jack: Why would they do that?

Kelly: I think to prove that their marriage is real, based on love, not just Summer trying to protect Austin.

Jack: And they think an official ceremony is gonna do that?

Kelly: They seem determined, Jack.

Jack: You know what? This has gone too far.

Kelly: Wait, wait, wait. What are you doing?

Jack: I am going to call Christine and have her issue this arrest warrant right now.

Kelly: Jack, don't, don't, don't, don't!

Ian: Perhaps you'd like something a little stronger to calm yourself?

Nikki: I haven't touched a drop in ages. And the rest of my past is in the past, so if you were planning on using it against me on the stand, you're mistaken.

Ian: Nicole, my goal isn't to punish you. I just want to see justice served.

Nikki: Just tell me how much this justice is costing me.

David: My client isn't interested in settling. Here's who we'll be calling. You can e-mail me your witness list when you have it.

Michael: [Chuckles] You're not interested in justice.

Ian: You know, we could have handled this in a peaceful, harmonious way. But you chose to take the hostile path. Now I'll see you in court.

David: Let's go, Ian. Nikki. Michael.

[Door closes]

Nikki: My God. I can't believe he got David Sherman to represent him.

Michael: Listen to me. He's trying to get to you, like you said. You don't let him.

Nikki: You're right. I won't. But if it's not money or justice that he's after, what is it?

Michael: He's trying to make this as public and painful as possible, and not just for you.

Nikki: My God, he's going to drag everybody I care about through the mud.

Michael: I'm gonna do everything I can to prevent that from happening. You have to stay strong, all right?

Nikki: Yes, I will.

Michael: All right. Okay. I'll be in touch.

Nikki: Yeah. [Sighs] My God.

Summer: I hope you don't mind talking in here. I just have to start getting ready.

Sharon: Oh, you and Austin have a big date?

Summer: Uh, Noah didn't tell you and dad about our plans?

Sharon: What plans?

Summer: Um, Austin and I are gonna get married. Well, again, but in a church this time. We just want to show everyone that we really love each other.

Sharon: I thought you said he never actually said the words to you.

Summer: He finally did.

Sharon: So he told you he loves you?

Summer: Yeah. He's never said it to anyone before. I'm the first girl he's ever loved.

Sharon: Your first romance. It's a really wonderful thing. It almost makes you feel light-headed, you know, unable to think.

Summer: [Chuckles] I know that everyone thinks that Austin and I got married so I wouldn't have to testify against him, but that's not the truth. We really do love each other.

Sharon: Jack and Nick and Noah are just worried about you.

Summer: I know. I know that they think I'm throwing my life away. But if you agree with them -- I mean, if you're gonna tell me not to do it, then --

Sharon: No, I'm not. I'm not.

Summer: You're not?

Sharon: I see the way you light up when you talk about Austin. I see the way he makes you feel. It's the same way Nick made me feel when he and I first fell in love. And, you know, no one wanted us to get married, either, and we didn't let that stop us.

Summer: What are you saying?

Sharon: Let me help you get ready for your wedding.

Summer: [Chuckles]

Jack: So you think I should just sit back and let Summer ruin her life?

Kelly: No, I -- they love each other, Jack!

Jack: She thinks she loves him. This man is using her. He got her to marry him so that she couldn't testify against him.

Kelly: I saw them together, okay? I heard them. They are crazy about each other.

Jack: You're the one that told me this is a crush, that she'd get over it! Now, what? It's real and it's meaningful?

Kelly: I don't know. Maybe it is!

Jack: I don't want to think that.

Kelly: [Sighs] Jack, I don't know if this is going to work out for them. Maybe they will crash and burn like hundreds of other couples, but right now, today, they are as much in love as any couple that I have ever seen. And Summer is desperate to have the people around her that she loves help her celebrate that.

Jack: I don't know if I can do that.

Kelly: Do you know what I would have given to have my father walk me down the aisle or to see my son get married? I will never have that. I will never see my son grow up and fall in love or witness his joy as he walks down the aisle, but you can have that. Maybe it's not the way you wanted it. Maybe it's not how you hoped and dreamed it would be, but it's Summer's life. You can be there for her or not. That is your choice. But you are so lucky that you have that choice.

[Cell phone chimes]

[Knock on door]

Avery: How was your breakfast?

Dylan: It was great. Are you gonna answer my question now?

Avery: Uh, yes. I have tomato bisque for lunch.

Dylan: Is Leslie Austin's lawyer?

Avery: [Sighs] Yes.

Dylan: Oh, come on, Avery. When I told you I didn't want you defending the guy, I didn't mean that you should just hand the case off to your partner!

Avery: I couldn't turn my back on him.

Dylan: He kidnapped you! He could have killed Paul! You should want him as far away from Summer as possible! The guy's a criminal!

Avery: No, he made some bad choices. And what happened to me and what happened to Paul, it's not all his fault.

Dylan: You are not responsible for what happened to Austin's mom. The guy who shot her is.

Avery: But her death is what drove him to do what he did.

Dylan: But that doesn't make him any less guilty! How could you want to put this guy back on the streets?

Avery: Because he's a kid, and he's grieving his mother, and he acted without thinking.

Dylan: What do you mean? It was premeditated. He stalked you for months, plotting and planning your kidnapping.

Avery: Because he wanted to get a confession out of me! He didn't plan on hurting me, and he certainly didn't plan on shooting Paul.

Dylan: Yeah, but he did! His recklessness and stupidity could have killed both of you!

Avery: But it didn't. I'm fine, and so is Paul.

Dylan: What if Austin just wants to go off again one day and blame somebody else for his mom's death? Avery, you have such a great heart, and I know you want to see the best in people, but this time, it could backfire. And Summer could be the one who gets hurt.

Noah: Hey. Here we are.

Courtney: It's not too late. We could still make a run for it.

Noah: I think our absence would be noticed.

Courtney: I'm being serious. Yeah, why don't you and I go down to the lake and spend the day, just the three of us? You, me, and that bikini you like.

Noah: Oh, the gold one?

Courtney: Mm-hmm.

Noah: No, that's -- [Sighs] No, we have to be here for my sister. She wants to get married in this chapel on the moon. Got to be there for her.

Courtney: You're a better person than me.

Noah: I know. How many times I got to tell you that?

Courtney: [Chuckles]

Nick: If you came to tell me your plan, I already know.

Austin: Getting married in a church was Summer's idea, and it means a lot to her.

Nick: Tell me something. Have you really thought about how this ends? You can go to prison. Then where's that leave Summer?

Austin: I'm worried about her. But I love her.

Nick: If you love her, then let her go.

Austin: Summer and I are gonna be together whether you and the rest of your family like it or not. It's what I want, and it's what she wants.

Nick: All right. That what you came here to tell me?

Austin: I came here to tell you that we're going through with this wedding ceremony. And I don't give a damn if Summer and I are the only two people there. She's all I need. But if she doesn't have her dad there to walk her down the aisle, she's gonna be hurt. And I don't want that.

Nick: You think I do?

Austin: Look, I can't go to Jack Abbott. He's all over me with threats about what he's going to do to me if I don't end things. So it's up to you. Is Summer gonna have her dad at her wedding or not?

Sharon: What are you thinking about?

Summer: Prom. My mom helped me get ready just like this.

Sharon: I bet you looked just as beautiful that night as you do now.

Summer: I just wish she could see me.

Sharon: I know she'd be proud.

Summer: [Chuckles] You think so? Everyone's so opposed to me getting married.

Sharon: She would take you at arms' distance just like this and say, "Summer, you need lipstick."

[Both laugh]

Summer: You're right. She would.

Sharon: You know what? I have the perfect shade for a bride! Let me get it. Oh, and you can use it as your "something borrowed."

Summer: Thanks. Perfect.

Sharon: What's wrong?

Summer: Um, creamy nude. It, uh... it reminds me of my mom.

Sharon: I'm sorry. Is that a shade she used to wear?

Summer: No, it's one that she didn't. Sorry. You wouldn't remember, but, um, they found a tube of Jabot's creamy nude in the stairwell where my mom fell, and someone must have dropped it, because my mom would never wear this shade, not with her coloring. Here.
