Episode # 10452 ~ Victoria & Stitch have a bittersweet parting; Austin visits Paul; Nick & Sharon have a tense encounter with Ian Ward.
Provided By Suzanne
Victoria: Tell me I didn't hear what you just said. You slept together?
Billy: Victoria, listen --
Chelsea: Maybe I should go.
Victoria: No, stop. You know what? Don't say another word. It's my turn.
Dylan: So, how's everything looking?
Stitch: Pretty good, considering what we had to work with. I'm going off duty.
Dylan: Well, it's about time.
Stitch: [Chuckling] Yeah. It's been a long one. I'm gonna go swim some laps -- burn off some tension.
Dylan: What's got you so tense?
Stitch: The usual. But I'll feel a lot better once you walk out of here. Rumor has it it could be tomorrow.
Dylan: Yeah, that's what Dr. Chang said, too.
Stitch: You lucked out having him as a doctor. The guy really knows his stuff.
Dylan: Well, you need some credit here, too -- all those extra hours you put in, being there for Avery. I really appreciate that. Thank you.
Stitch: She and Nikki hardly left your side.
Dylan: Yeah. I got to say, it's nice having so many people I can count on.
Ian: I hope you can think of me as...one of them.
Nikki: When I learned I was pregnant, I just panicked. [Sighs] I just assumed that it was Ian's. I was so young. It never entered my mind. Believe me, if I had known the baby was yours, I would have made a very different decision. I would have kept him and raised him.
Paul: Victor?
Sharon: Faith, hurry up, sweetie. Get your pool stuff or we're gonna be late meeting your friends.
We're going swimming at the club. Do you want to come with us?
Sharon: Um, faith, Mariah's only been staying with us for one night. We don't want her to feel obligated to tag along with us every time we go somewhere.
Mariah: Well, I have the day off, and it sounds like fun -- as long as it's okay with you, of course.
Sharon: Yeah, of course. We'd love to have you.
Faith: Yay! I'll show you how I can swim across the whole pool!
Sharon: I think you have a fan.
Mariah: Well, it means a lot that you would include me. Uh, there's just one problem.
Sharon: What's that?
Mariah: I don't own a bathing suit.
Sharon: Oh. Well, that's not a problem. I saw some really cute ones at Lauren's boutique. Why don't you go and pick one out and then you can meet us at the pool? I'll give you the money.
Mariah: No, no. Sharon, I -- that's very sweet of you to offer, but I owe you so much already. I couldn't possibly accept.
Sharon: Yes, you can. You know what? It's a gift, so take it.
Mariah: Thank you so much.
Sharon: You're very welcome.
Mariah: Is Nick coming?
Sharon: Maybe later. He has a family thing he has to do.
Nick: Someone married this guy?
Jack: Can you believe it?
Nick: When did this happen? How long have you known?
Jack: I didn't see the point in ruining your holiday, but now that I've told you about this, we need to figure out a way to handle it.
Nick: "We"?
Jack: Summer is living in a fantasy world. She has decided that kidnapping a prominent attorney and shooting the chief of police is gonna get her husband a slap on the wrist. She's decided that he's gonna probably pick up trash on the de of the road for 90 days and then the two of them are gonna sail off into the sunset.
Nick: You're kidding me.
Jack: I'm afraid not. This guy is gonna do real time -- hard time. She refuses to face reality, and nothing I say will get through to her.
Nick: And you think I can get through to her?
Jack: Whether it's you or me or the two of us working together, we have to find some way to end this sham of a marriage. Nick, I need to know you're with me on this.
Nick: Look, Jack, I know you're coming at me out of love for Summer, but there's really only so much we can do.
Jack: Not you, too. I have had this conversation with Kelly. Abby has chimed in.
Nick: And?
Jack: They both advised me to back off, to let this so-called relationship run its course.
Nick: Which is obviously advice you don't agree with.
Jack: I just -- I tried to hear their perspective. They were both teenagers once. They know better than I do what goes through the mind of a girl that age. But I'm her father. I can't in good conscience stand by and watch her throw away her future.
Nick: If Summer were underage, I would rip that marriage license to shreds.
Jack: That marriage license is legit. The marriage itself is a joke. Do you know why they ran off and got married? If they're married, Summer can't be compelled to testify against Austin -- that and, of course, her trust fund provides a handy source of cash for his legal fees.
Nick: There's more to it than that. Summer looked me in the eye, and she told me that she loves this guy.
Jack: I'm sure Summer believes that. Look, I was 19 once, too. I know how powerful it is to fall in love for the first time. But this is Summer's life -- her whole future. We need to look out for her. Now, look -- I was able to cut off her funds once. Maybe if the two of us go to the bank together --
Nick: It's not gonna work. Trust me. It'll just make her dig her heels in deeper. Does it sound like someone else we know?
Jack: If only Phyllis were here to fix this.
Nick: Well, I can guarantee you Phyllis wouldn't be running to the bank to freeze funds.
Jack: Then help me find another way. The two of them got married to get around the law. Maybe that's illegal. Between the two of us, we can find a judge who can listen to this and --
Nick: No. No. If your plan is to take Summer to court, then you can count me out.
Summer: Okay, hurry up, because I want to return the favor and rub oil all over my husband. I love that word -- "husband." Don't you? Hey. Are you okay?
Austin: Uh, yeah. I just have a lot on my mind.
Summer: I know. Me too. Just try not to worry, okay? Look, I have enough money to pay Leslie for her to keep you out of prison, and now that I don't have to testify against you --
Austin: Don't you get it? That's all your dad thinks I want from you -- money and to keep you quiet.
Summer: Who cares what other people think? When you love someone, you give what you have to keep them safe, and all I have is you.
Austin: What do I have to give you, Summer? Nothing but trouble. I don't want to burden you with that.
Summer: Will you stop, please? Okay, it's not a burden to be your wife. Look, when I look at you, I see everything that I've ever wanted.
Austin: Will you be okay for a bit? There's something I need to do.
Summer: Yeah.
Nikki: Oh, Victor. I was just talking to Paul.
Victor: Hello, sweetheart.
Nikki: [Chuckles]
Victor: So, I tried to convince her to stay home and get some rest, but she insisted on seeing how you were doing. From what I can see, you're doing rather well.
Nikki: Yes, he is.
Paul: I am.
Victor: I have some other good news, and that is that Dylan, one of the nurses told me, is about to be released, perhaps even tomorrow.
Nikki: Oh, my God. That's wonderful!
Paul: That sure is. That's great.
Victor: Yeah. And now I think we should go home and let him some rest, okay?
Paul: Yeah, and you should probably get some rest, too. Victor's right -- you need to take care of yourself.
Victor: Right?
Stitch: Are you gonna leave quietly?
Ian: Or what -- you gonna call security?
Stitch: No. I'm gonna throw you out myself, and I'll enjoy it.
Dylan: Stitch, I can handle it. What do you want?
Ian: I understand your anger, and I share it. It was Nikki who set you on a path that led to me, and ever since then, all I've wanted is a relationship with my miracle son. And now that the bitter truth is out, I just came to tell you that I don't find you responsible for any of it. And I'm not gonna change my will. I'm not gonna walk away. I still want us to try to have a relationship.
Dylan: Well, don't.
Ian: You and I are victims of the same irresponsible woman. Don't you see it? The woman who led us to believe that we were related by blood, when all along, she knew --
Nikki: Get away from my son!
Victoria: The two of you went to Australia. I could have told you what would happen. What did you call it -- a fact-finding mission?
Chelsea: That's what it was.
Victoria: Oh, yeah? Did you find a lot of facts under the covers?
Chelsea: We went there to help you see which man you can trust and which you can't.
Victoria: Oh.
Billy: You know what? You could have trusted me, but you put your faith in stitch, who has been lying to you all along.
Victoria: This isn't about Ben. This is about you, Billy. Whenever anything goes wrong, you go find a warm bed and a willing girl to make it all feel better, don't you?
Billy: You know what? This isn't any of your business. You slept with stitch, kicked me out of our house, filed for divorce, so it seems to me that you don't have any room to complain if I've started a relationship of my own.
Victoria: Oh. Is that what this is? Is this a relationship?
Billy: I don't owe you an explanation.
Victoria: Right. You don't owe me an explanation. I just came by to remind you that I'm taking Johnny to see reed, so you and Chelsea will have a few days to find all the facts that you want.
Billy: What the hell have I done? [Sighs] It feels like every time I see her, I just push her further away.
Chelsea: I am partly to blame, but you should have said something.
Billy: Like what?
Chelsea: Anything. I didn't know Victoria was here, or else I wouldn't have brought up what happened last night.
Billy: I'm not blaming you. You've been a good friend.
Chelsea: Not anymore.
Nick: Summer is determined to do things her own way, like her mother. But, like Phyllis, she's also very smart. Once Austin gets convicted and sent away, Summer's gonna realize they don't have a future together. She will end things on her own.
Jack: This guy came to me and told me if he goes to prison, he's gonna divorce Summer -- let her go.
Nick: Well, that's something.
Jack: I'm not sure I can believe him. And now my concern is if this ploy that they've cooked up actually works and Summer avoids taking the witness stand, he could get off.
Nick: Given the severity of the crime and all the other witnesses, I highly doubt the prosecutor is gonna need Summer's testimony to put this guy away. He is going down.
Jack: We hope.
Nick: In the meantime, Summer is an adult in the eyes of the law. Now, I understand that you want to do everything you can to prevent Summer from making a big mistake, but I see you making a big mistake of your own.
Jack: How do you figure that?
Nick: The more you force this issue, the more you risk driving Summer away. Now, look, I got to go, but, Jack, if she has to choose between you -- no offense -- a father she barely knows and this guy she thinks she's in love with... think about it.
Dylan: Let me handle this, Nikki. I don't want you caught in the middle.
Nikki: I warned you last time to stay away from my son -- my son, not yours!
Ian: You hear the venom coming out of her mouth? She desperately needs to create a villain when you and I are the wounded parties. She has chosen to lie about your paternity and made us both suffer for it.
Dylan: The only suffering is gonna be yours if you don't leave my mother alone.
Ian: [Sighs] [Chuckles] You had such promise once. What a waste.
Nikki: Get out!
Dylan: You okay?
Nikki: Yeah. I'm fine.
Ian: Well... interesting. What, do you send your wife in there to do your dirty work?
Victor: My wife is the good cop. Unfortunately for you, I'm the other kind.
Dylan: Ian Ward is suing you? On what grounds?
Nikki: Emotional distress, claiming that I misled him into believing he had fathered a child and pulled the rug out from under him.
Dylan: That is such crap. It's unbelievable.
Nikki: Listen, the only reason he was here today was to lay groundwork for his case.
Dylan: Well, then, he wasted his time. I'm not gonna help him get any kind of payday, either.
Nikki: Well, he's gonna say you were victimized anyway. I lied to you all these years about your real father.
Dylan: But I had a dad growing up. Might not have been my biological father, but... Nikki, come on. Please -- please don't worry about it.
Nikki: I can't help it. I have complicated your life yet again.
Dylan: What fun is life without a few curveballs? I am looking forward to it now that Paul and I know the truth. It's much better than thinking my real father's a bottom-feeding crook.
Ian: Just for the record, Victor, I didn't come here to try and start trouble.
Victor: Just for the record, Ian Ward... you've been nothing but trouble ever since you've shown your face in this town.
Ian: That was never my intention. You have to know that.
Victor: But, you know, the irony is that my family has become stronger, more united.
Ian: You have such bravado. It must be hard that a friend of the family is the father of your wife's son. A less secure man might be devastated by that. Who knows what it'll lead to now?
Victor: You're beginning to push your luck.
Ian: Well, I still say --
Victor: I don't give a damn what you say. I said you're beginning to push your luck. Get away from me -- now.
Nikki: Oh, I received the papers. It's the real deal. He's suing me.
Dylan: It's ridiculous. He can't think he has a chance of winning.
[Door opens]
Dylan: Mr. Newman, about this idiotic lawsuit -- please --
Victor: Dylan, there is nothing for you to be concerned about, okay? Ian Ward is not gonna bother Nikki. But I'm gonna take you home now.
Dylan: That's good. A little peace and quiet for you -- you deserve it.
Victor: Exactly.
Nikki: You get some rest -- okay? -- 'Cause you have a very big day tomorrow.
Dylan: Yeah. Better take it easy so I can go home and rest up some more.
Nikki: That's right.
[Both chuckle]
Victor: Uh... what you did for Paul... was a very brave thing to do.
Faith: Summer!
Summer: Hi! Hi, girly girl! How are you? [Gasps] Let me see your new suit. You look so cute! Hi.
Sharon: Hi. So, Taylor and her mom are over there by the slide. See them? But wait -- before you go, let me put just a little dab of sunscreen on your face. Wait a minute. Oh, I thought I had more of this.
Summer: Oh, I-I think I have some.
Sharon: Thanks for helping.
Summer: Yeah. No. No problem. Come here. Okay. Perfect. There you go.
Sharon: Okay. Have fun. You seem kind of down. Is everything okay?
Summer: Yeah. I'm just really worried about Austin. He's in a really terrible situation. I mean, I know it's my own fault that I'm upset, right? You probably agree with Nick and Jack that it was a mistake to marry him and that he's just using me.
Sharon: It doesn't really matter what I think. You're an adult. You get to make your own decisions.
Summer: Yeah, but on the inside, you're probably thinking, "boy, is she dumb for ever trusting him."
Sharon: You know, I've made a lot of mistakes since I was your age, so I'm in no position to judge. But that doesn't mean I don't care.
Summer: Thank you.
Sharon: I know your mom isn't around, so if you ever need someone to turn to...
Summer: Thank you. Austin's never even had a parking ticket, so I'm sure that they're gonna take that into account, along with the fact that he was grieving, and they're gonna find another way to punish him without him serving time, right?
Sharon: That would be wonderful for you two if things work out that way, but what if they don't?
Summer: Then I'm just gonna wait for Austin till he gets out of prison.
Sharon: Did you tell him that?
Summer: Yeah. Of course. I mean, he knows that I love him.
Sharon: And what about him? Does he love you?
Summer: He shows me that he loves me in little ways.
Sharon: Shows you?
Summer: Yeah. You know, it's hard for guys to say it.
Sharon: Nick tells me he loves me all the time. It's important to say it. I'm gonna go get some sunscreen. Will you watch faith for a minute?
Summer: Yeah.
Sharon: I shouldn't be long.
Paul: Travers.
Austin: Chief Williams.
Paul: What are you doing here?
Austin: I needed to make sure you're okay.
Paul: Couldn't be better.
Austin: Look, I want you to know just how sorry I am, sir, and how much I wish I had never --
Paul: You did. You kidnapped a woman and you took a gun and -- and... what the hell were you thinking? You know, it's not just about my life. It's about my wife, my family, my friends, not to mention a young man across the hall who is fighting for his own life because of your actions. Okay. So, I understand you suffered a devastating loss and the justice system doesn't always work, and, yeah, maybe it failed your mother. But where the hell does it say you can take the law into your own hands?
[Door opens]
Dylan: What the hell are you doing here?
Jack: Christine, it's Jack Abbott. Fine, thank you. I understand Paul is improving. Oh, what a relief. That's great news. Boy, you have been through a hell of a couple of weeks. Listen, I'm sure you're eager to get back to the hospital. There's an issue -- a rather urgent issue -- I need to discuss with you. It's a legal matter concerning my daughter Summer.
Dylan: You got a lot of nerve showing up here like this.
Paul: He was just leaving, weren't you, Travers?
Austin: Yeah.
Paul: What are you doing out of bed?
Dylan: Well, good thing I was. What's he want?
Paul: Actually, I think he came to apologize to us.
Dylan: I don't want an apology. I want the kid behind bars. He could have killed Avery, and he almost killed you.
Paul: Yeah, but he didn't, thanks to you.
Dylan: Well, uh, I came by to tell you that... I'm getting out of here tomorrow, so they say.
Paul: Really?! That's fantastic!
Dylan: Right. Yeah. But I am gonna miss the part where the nurse wakes me up at midnight and asks me if I want a sleeping pill.
Paul: [Laughs] Yeah, I know what you mean. Well, that means when I get out of here, uh... actually, I-I don't know where that leaves us. Um...
Dylan: Do I have to buy you another tie once a year?
Paul: I don't know. I got some questions for you, too. I mean, I assume you know how to ride a bicycle.
Dylan: Yes. Yes.
Paul: You know the facts of life.
Dylan: Whoa. Hold on.
[Both laugh]
Paul: Do I have to teach you how to throw a slider?
Dylan: Well, actually --
Paul: On second thought, let's, uh... I'm really glad we get to find out.
Chelsea: [Sighs] No. Booze isn't going to help.
Billy: Oh, yeah? Then what will? Victoria storms out. You say we're not friends anymore.
Chelsea: What I'm saying is it's more complicated than that, and you know it. Last night wasn't just some fluke.
Billy: Okay. You're right. Can I have my glass back?
Chelsea: No, not until you acknowledge what's happening between us.
Billy: Okay. If we're not friends... then what are we?
Chelsea: I'm through pretending, Billy. It wasn't just sex for me.
Victoria: Oh, hey.
Stitch: I wasn't expecting to run in to you.
Victoria: Uh, yeah. I'm just grabbing a quick bite with Abby before I go out of town. [Sighs]
Stitch: Something wrong?
Victoria: I stopped by Billy's as a courtesy to let him know that Johnny and I were going out of town, and guess what -- Chelsea was there. And guess what else -- they're sleeping together. It's funny -- I saw that coming way before they did. This whole time Billy's been pointing fingers at us, accusing you of God knows what, he's just been waiting around for Chelsea. And she's been trying to help him dig up all this dirt on you? Really, she's just been trying to dig her claws in to him. [Sighs] Doesn't that make you furious? You have nothing to say?
Stitch: Actually, there is something I want to say. If you are through with Billy the way you say you are... why are you so upset about this?
Victoria: [Sighs]
Nikki: Dear, I don't want to lie down.
Victor: What's the matter with you? Will you humor me, please?
Nikki: Look, I know you're only looking after my health, but as I told you before, that's not why I moved back here -- to be a prisoner in my own house.
Victor: Wait a minute. Is that how you think I treat you -- like a prisoner? Is that why you went back to see Paul -- to make a point?
Nikki: No, Victor. I went because I care about him.
Victor: So do I. But you come first with me.
Nikki: [Sighs] And you come first with me. I'm sorry. It's just that things are different now.
Victor: How are they different now?
Nikki: Paul and I have a son.
Victor: So? That doesn't change a damn thing.
Nikki: Victor, I know you were listening. It had to have hurt you to hear me tell Paul the truth -- that if I had known that Dylan was his son, that... I wouldn't have given him away.
Victor: Then you and I would never have happened.
Mariah: Hey!
Ian: Ah! Hello, my dear. I was hoping to hear from you. Your first night at chez Newman -- how did it go?
Mariah: Hi. Um...
Sharon: Mariah, I'm -- I'm glad you made it.
Mariah: Uh, I don't know if you two have met. Sharon Newman, this is Ian Ward.
Sharon: I know who he is.
Ian: Well, I've, uh, heard a great deal about you, too, Sharon. It's a pleasure to finally meet you.
Sharon: Did you find yourself a swimsuit yet?
Mariah: No, no. I was just headed to the boutique now.
Sharon: Okay. Um...I will meet you up at the pool on the roof.
Mariah: Okay. Great. I'll, uh -- I'll see you later.
Ian: Well, I'm deeply grateful to you and your family for taking an interest in my Mariah.
Sharon: She's not your Mariah -- not anymore.
Ian: I detect a note of hostility. I wonder where that's coming from.
Nick: She gets that from me.
Ian: Hello, Nicholas. I admire your impulse to save any damsel you think is in distress, but I meant what I said to Sharon. I'm very appreciative of your kindness and generosity toward Mariah.
Nick: Well, I would appreciate it if you stay away from my mother and drop this ridiculous lawsuit.
Ian: Believe it or not, you and I are in complete agreement.
Sharon: We are?
Ian: Mariah has a whole new life ahead of her, and I, for one, couldn't be more pleased. Have a good day.
Nick: Don't let him get to you.
Sharon: It's too late.
Summer: Ooh! Okay. I miss spending time together. Things have just been really hectic for Austin and me.
Faith: Look at your ring!
Summer: Yeah. I'm, uh, married now, faith.
Faith: But you can't be married. There was no real wedding.
Summer: Oh. Is this because you weren't a flower girl? Okay. Well, it wasn't the type of wedding that you see on TV, but it was real in the way that matters, okay? Okay. Let's get you dry. Oh, hey. Um, okay. Uh...here. Austin, this is my little sister, faith, and, faith, this is Austin, my new husband.
Austin: Oh. Summer's told me so much about you.
Faith: My daddy thinks you belong in jail. Nice to meet you. I'm going back to Taylor's blanket.
Austin: [Chuckles] Well, she's cute.
Summer: Um, I'm really sorry about that.
Austin: No, don't worry about it. I'll get used to it, 'cause most people don't like what I did.
Summer: Well, it doesn't matter, okay? As long as we're together, it's okay.
Austin: Yeah. Okay. You know, whatever you have to say to me, please --
Jack: Actually, I have something to say to Austin regarding our talk yesterday.
Summer: Your talk?
Jack: You didn't tell her?
Summer: Tell me what?
Victoria: I'm not upset that they slept together. Like I said, it was almost comically predictable. But what I hate is Billy's inability to tell the truth. He says he wants me back. What a lying hypocrite.
Stitch: [Chuckles] Is that something you didn't already know?
Victoria: No, but I have no qualms getting a divorce now.
Stitch: Qualms [Chuckles] Now? You had -- you had qualms before?
Victoria: That's not what I'm saying, all right? My marriage is over. It's emphatically over. [Groans]
Stitch: That's not gonna be easy to get rid of.
Victoria: It's the stupidest thing I ever did, aside from the marriage. I knew Billy's history, and there we were, sitting there getting our wedding bands tattooed. Talk about ridiculous.
Billy: I'm not pretending when I say that I don't know how I'm feeling. How's that for honesty?
Chelsea: [Sighs] When I woke up after we made love last night, I... was shocked at myself, but not for sleeping with you. I was shocked at how alive I felt. And since Adam died, I didn't think that I could feel that alive again.
Billy: That's a good thing.
Chelsea: No. At first, I thought it was, but now, after seeing you with Victoria, I realize I'm kidding myself.
Billy: Chelsea --
Chelsea: I know it can't happen again -- I understand that -- and I'm not here to try to make you feel guilty, okay? I'm not. And, frankly, I'm not strong enough to start to care about someone who's just gonna break my heart again, so...
Billy: So, what are you saying?
Chelsea: I guess... what I'm saying is... this is goodbye.
Nikki: Victor, I never said that keeping the baby would have meant a future for Paul and me. I mean, we were just kids ourselves. We were too young to tie each other down.
Victor: You know if you had kept the child... you and I would never have happened. There'd be no Victoria, no Nicholas, no grandchildren.
Nikki: [Voice breaking] You're right.
Victor: Baby... we made our choices, you know? We can't turn back the clock now. And we decided to create a family -- a really wonderful family.
Nikki: [Sniffles]
Victor: We have our ups and downs, but... I'm very happy we have our family, okay?
Nikki: I know.
Victor: So, there's no sense in looking back now.
Nikki: You're right. You're right, as always. I'm sorry. [Crying]
Dylan: Well, if you need some rest, you can just, you know, tell me to get lost.
Paul: [Chuckles] I will. Hey, listen -- the next time you see your friend stitch, tell him to stop in. I want to thank him for everything he did, keeping you alive.
Dylan: Yeah. He had help.
Paul: Really? From who?
Dylan: From you.
Paul: I have no idea what that means.
Dylan: You know, uh, when I had the infection... I was just lying there, out of it, dreaming or something. You know, I didn't know if I was staying, if I was gonna see the light... but you were there. And you said, "it's not time." And something made me... fight harder to stick around, and a big part of that was realizing... that I wanted to get the chance to know you.
Austin: Look, I was gonna tell you if it ever became necessary.
Summer: If what became necessary?
Jack: Austin came to see me yesterday to tell me if he goes to prison, he's going to divorce you. I thought it was a very brave thing to say, but, on further reflection, I wonder, if you really want to spare her, why you don't end things now, unless it's because that would free her up to testify against you.
Summer: I cannot believe that you're being so hurtful right now.
Jack: I am doing everything in my power to keep you from getting hurt. And if Austin doesn't do the right thing, if you insist on continuing with this fraudulent marriage, you've kind of left me no choice.
Summer: What did you do?
Jack: What I had to do, even if it makes you hate me. I went to the D.A...
Summer: What?!
Jack: ...Who said there's every possibility that we could have this marriage overturned.
Summer: No. No.
Jack: Sweetheart, you and I won't decide it. The judge will. I love you too much to let you throw your life away. I hope one day you'll understand this.
Nick: So, seeing Ian really unnerved you, huh?
Sharon: I'm more upset for Mariah's sake. To think that she grew up with a snake like that as a father figure -- it's no wonder she made so many wrong turns in life.
Nick: I wouldn't wish that snake on anyone.
Sharon: It just makes me more determined to break whatever hold he think she has on her.
Nick: I still have my doubts about Mariah, but with you fighting for her, Ian Ward doesn't stand a chance.
Ian: Success?
Mariah: Yes! I got a swimsuit that is nice but not too nice.
Ian: Ah.
Mariah: What about you? I hope Sharon didn't give you too hard of a time.
Ian: Well, I'm getting used to it. What matters to me most is you finding your place in this world. And I'm so glad Sharon's on your side -- and not just her.
Mariah: What do you mean?
Ian: Well, it's interesting how quickly Nick came to your defense.
Mariah: Did he?
Ian: Mm-hmm. You keep up the good work.
Victoria: Soon as this baby is born, I'm gonna get this silly tattoo lasered off.
Stitch: I've seen a lot of people try to get uninked. It still leaves a scar.
Victoria: We all have those, don't we?
Stitch: Hey, uh... you know, I'm glad I got to see you before your trip.
Victoria: Thank you. I'm gonna miss you.
Stitch: Me too.
Victoria: And, um... when I get back, I'm gonna have a blood test.
Stitch: Then we'll know whose baby it really is.
Billy: Chelsea, wait.
Chelsea: Why? What's the point? Billy, you want Victoria. You and me -- it would never work.
Billy: I don't want this to be goodbye.
Chelsea: Okay, let's be honest, okay? Once your wife -- and she is still your wife -- once she gets back from D.C., She'll take this paternity test, and let's say you're the father. What happens? You and Victoria kiss and make up, and where does that leave me?
Billy: I don't know.
Chelsea: Exactly -- in limbo. And to be honest with you, Billy, I can't take any more suffering.
Billy: Which is something that we have in common.
Chelsea: Which means what?!
Billy: What I already said -- I don't want this to be goodbye.
Next on "The Young and the Restless"...
Dylan: Why is Leslie texting you about Austin's case?
Summer: I am getting married, Abby, in a church today, and I don't care if nobody shows up.
Nikki: Shut up! Do you hear me?! Shut up!
Michael: Nikki, Nikki, do not respond. We need to stay calm about this.
