Episode # 10448 ~ Nick & Sharon celebrate the Fourth of July; Victoria confronts Stitch and Kelly.

Provided By Suzanne

Sharon: [Chuckles] Nice hat.

Nick: Oh, I know. My stylist picked it out.

Sharon: Well, it suits you. Where is your stylist?

Nick: Peyton's mom came to pick up faith for her sleepover. But better news -- my mom called, and it looks like Dylan's gonna make it.

Sharon: Oh, that is good news. You know, I was really praying for that. Dylan is a good guy. Faith fell in love with him on the spot. That was even before we knew that he was her uncle.

Nick: He is a good guy. I'm glad he's gonna make it. And this family could use some good news, other than us just moving in together. And I made sure faith had all the red, white, and blue glitter out of her hair, so don't worry about it.

Sharon: Oh, good. [Chuckles] Looks like you two had some good patriotic fun here tonight.

Nick: Yep.

Sharon: You know, you -- you could remove the --

Nick: This is staying on all weekend -- maybe even tonight.

Sharon: Excellent. Okay. [Chuckles] Wow. Nice use of color here, even with the limited palette.

Nick: Mm-hmm.

Sharon: And this one...

Nick: Uh-oh. That bad, huh? Must be one of mine. Uh, yes, this is the star-spangled wedding of mommy and daddy. I mean, we've got it all. We got the bride and groom, the uh -- the fireworks. It's an auspicious day to pledge allegiance to one another.

Jack: You're mar-- you're married? No, no, you can't be.

Summer: Yeah. We are.

Jack: You think you can throw a ring on your finger and convince people that you're married? Sweetheart, I know what you think you are feeling, but you have to admit this engagement is a mistake.

Summer: It stopped being an engagement when we saw the judge. This is a marriage with a marriage license to prove it.

Kelly: Hey. Are you speaking to me now? Because I wouldn't blame you if you're not. I'm sorry. I had to tell Jack you're my brother.

Stitch: I knew it would come out, and it did.

Kelly: Have you spoken to Victoria yet?

Stitch: Not yet. I've been dealing with trying to keep my buddy Mac alive.

Kelly: That's right. How is he?

Stitch: He's good. He's gonna make it.

Kelly: That's great. You did it.

Stitch: It --

Kelly: You saved your best friend.

Stitch: No, no, no. It wasn't me. Uh, you know, he had a full team for surgery and recovery. All I did was stand by his bedside and yell at him to get better.

Kelly: And he did. And, of course, you wanted to be there for him, but now I don't think you can put off telling Victoria any longer.

Stitch: Look, I've gone back and forth about telling her or not telling her. Now I guess I don't have a choice.

Kelly: I'm sorry. I just -- I didn't want it to happen this way, but I think we both know if you don't tell Victoria now, somebody else will.

Victoria: Well, maybe no one mentioned it, but it's a holiday.

Billy: Not in Hong Kong, it isn't. Can I get you a coffee, a water, a stale bagel from the break room?

Victoria: No, that's okay. I can't stay. Just wanted to drop by and tell you that Dylan and Paul are doing better.

Billy: Good. That's great. Thanks for letting me know. I, um -- Paul's always been good to me, even when he shouldn't have been, and Dylan's a good friend, even if he won't be my brother-in-law much longer.

Victoria: I knew you'd want to know right away.

Billy: I did. Thanks. Um, you know I have one of these. Don't get me wrong, Vick. It's great to see you... but why'd you come?

[Static buzzing]

Chelsea: Okay, buzz. Where are you coming from? Because you are torturing me.

Chelsea: [Sighs]

[Static buzzing]

[Buzzing stops]

Chelsea: [Sighs] I give up.

Victoria: Well, you know, I came in person because Dylan is your friend, and I knew you wouldn't want to spend time at the hospital visiting him -- not if you don't have to.

Billy: Thanks. I-I thought that I should stop by and check in on him, but, you know, walking into that place... you know, [Sighs] I've been there since Delia, but...if I have to sit there and take the time to chat, and I'm gonna be flooded with memories of that night, and, uh, thanks for keeping me from having to do that.

Victoria: Sure. We're connected.

Billy: Yeah, we are.

Victoria: I mean because of Johnny and because of our love for reed and Dee Dee.

Billy: Right.

Victoria: And if we can show each other some kindness and compassion, that's a good thing.

Billy: [Sighs]

Victoria: But the divorce papers are still going through, Billy, and not because of Australia, but just because that's the way it -- it has to be.

Billy: I went all the way across the world to find the answers, and they were here all along.

Victoria: What do you mean?

Billy: I uncovered something.

Victoria: Oh, great. You know what? I don't want to talk about it.

Billy: Vick. Stitch and Kelly are brother and sister. They both lied to us.

Jack: Sweetheart, we need to have this conversation alone. Please.

Summer: So you're gonna order my husband from the room? No, we're -- we're partners. Whatever you need to say to me, Austin should be here.

Jack: Fine. So, what is this about? Is this about money? Her trust fund?

Austin: Her money is hers, okay? You want to have papers drawn up to prove it, fine. I'll sign whatever you want.

Summer: This is the only reason that someone would want to marry me? Because of my money? Thank you. You know, I'd be dumb enough to go along with that. Thanks again.

Jack: So, what is this? You've known each other how long? You -- you just made bail, thanks to her, and now you and my daughter...

Summer: Are happily married, yes.

Jack: She would be the lead witness in your trial. That's what this is about. You're doing this to keep her from testifying against you -- as if you have a prayer of not going to prison. Wise up, son. You are going behind bars, and this marriage is going away.

Nick: So, you don't like the fireworks? What about the sparkler bouquet? The veil? I mean, you got to like the veil.

Sharon: Faith shouldn't be thinking about this -- about us getting married again.

Nick: Sharon, I know you didn't put that idea into her head, all right? This is not like last year. You're in a different place. We're all in a different place. And faith is just being faith.

Sharon: No, I realize that, and she's so sweet. But this... [Sighs]

Nick: It's 'cause I'm making jokes about this? Is that...? Listen, it's just hard to take it seriously, but maybe we should talk about it.

Sharon: Nick.

Nick: Look, I know we just moved in together, and this is a big step, but it's something we need to really talk about.

Sharon: This is never happening. And I'm not talking about the colors or the veil. You and I are never getting married again.

Courtney: Freeze, and whatever you do, don't put that shirt back on.

Noah: Whatever you say, officer.

Courtney: [Chuckles] Sorry I'm late. Was waiting on word about chief, but he's doing great.

Noah: Oh, that's awesome. I'm sure the whole force is relieved. So, you off duty now?

Courtney: Yep, and loving this place.

Noah: Yeah.

Courtney: Wow. Devon is really stepping up the swank factor here.

Noah: Yeah, the view is insane.

Courtney: Come on. Aren't you used to it -- up in Newman tower, looking down on all the tiny, little ant-sized people?

Noah: No, this view is much better.

Courtney: That was so corny. [Chuckles] But I liked it.

Noah: Looks like you missed all the sun.

Courtney: The pool's still here.

Noah: Oh, hey, I'm all for you stripping down, but this is a public...

Courtney: Noah. I have a swimsuit under.

Noah: Oh, yay.

Courtney: [Chuckles] I'll race you to the diving board.

Noah: No, you go ahead. I'm gonna enjoy the view a little bit more.

Courtney: [Chuckles]

Victoria: I mean, you said that they might have had an affair, but now you're saying that they're siblings?

Billy: I completely read them wrong. I mean, the way that they know each other, but they won't talk about it. And then -- and then Kelly bolting when you tried to set her up with stitch.

Victoria: Doesn't make any sense.

Billy: I knew that it was something, and then in the end, Kelly told Jack, and she said that she couldn't -- said she couldn't lie to him anymore.

Victoria: Oh. But Ben can lie to me. Is that what you're saying?

Billy: Vick, I'm not trying to cause you any more pain.

Victoria: No, no, of course you're not. No.

Billy: I'm not. I hate this, Vick. And, yeah, I tried to dig up dirt on the guy, but I stopped. I let it go. Then Jack told me about Kelly and Rayburn. I couldn't not tell you about that. Look, if I could take back everything up and to this second, I would.

Victoria: Stop trying to be the hero, all right?

Billy: That's not --

Victoria: No, I'm not gonna give you a reward for telling me this. I'm not gonna fly into your arms for... god. You know what? I'm done.

Billy: Vick.

Stitch: I know I have to tell the truth to Victoria. But, you know, how much and -- and what do I say? Jenna says she'll run off with max if it comes to light. And you and I both know that, when Victoria hears what I did, it's gonna drive her away. It's my own damn fault.

Kelly: All Jack knows is that you and I are siblings, okay? I -- he saw us hugging. I-I had to tell him why.

Stitch: You did hug me. And you said you love me.

Kelly: I did not.

Stitch: Did, too.

Kelly: Knock it off, or I'll tell mom.

Stitch: [Chuckles] [Sighs] Look, whether you did or I imagined it, it was nice to hear. And I meant it when I said that I didn't want to cost you Jack.

Kelly: Good. 'Cause you already cost me plenty in the past.

Stitch: And you've returned the favor. But Victoria...

Kelly: Ben, all I'm saying is...Jack knows that we grew up together, but he doesn't know anything else. But that is enough for Billy to exploit with Victoria once Jack tells him.

Stitch: I have to tell Victoria that I lied to her from the second I met her.

Kelly: About how you and I know each other. But the rest -- that won't come from Billy. That can only come from you. And once that's out, I guess you'll find out how much Victoria really cares about you.

Summer: Austin and I are not getting a divorce.

Jack: No, we're gonna get this whole mess annulled first thing in the morning. You are not gonna have this disaster hanging over your head.

Summer: You're not listening.

Jack: You did not marry him because you love him. You did not marry him because you want to live with this felon. You married him because you had the misguided notion that it would somehow keep him out of prison. It won't work. This man nearly killed the police chief.

Austin: How's he doing? The chief?

Jack: Paul is actually improving, lucky for you.

Justin: That's good to hear.

Jack: Let's gather our things. We'll all go back to Genoa City, and we will rectify this mess first thing in the morning.

Summer: How do you know why I married Austin? Okay, you're -- you don't know what it's like when I'm with him. The first time that you saw us after we were walking in the park -- that was the first time that I felt safe and normal and sane in a really long time, like I had been walking in the dark for months, and I finally found my way home, and that feeling -- it was not with you or with Nick or with anybody else. It was with Austin -- just him. Okay, this marriage -- this marriage is real, and these rings are real, and I love him, and he's my husband. [Voice breaking] Okay, and if you can't accept him or accept the fact that I am the happiest I've been in a really long time, then maybe you should just go.

Austin: Summer.

Summer: I'm fine.

Jack: Summer. No. Hold on. Hold on. We're not finished here.

Austin: Summer made her own decisions, okay? And she said what she wanted to say.

Jack: Okay, now it's your turn. What's it gonna take, Austin? What's it gonna take to get you out of my daughter's life?

Austin: [Sighs]

Nick: Wow. So, no -- no wedding? No marriage?

Sharon: And I mean it.

Nick: Okay. Actually, not okay. I mean, I'm not hiding a ring in my pocket right now or anything, but what if I was?

Sharon: Then I don't want to see it...ever. Okay? Nick, we were married once before.

Nick: Twice, actually, if you want to get picky. I mean, we had the elopement and then the whole big, fancy shebang.

Sharon: You know, for a long time, I imagined myself walking down the aisle to you again. And then imagining you marrying Avery -- that was pretty ugly.

Nick: You were not well. That was not you.

Sharon: Well, I'm back to myself again...

Nick: Exactly.

Sharon: ...Which is why I know that marriage is not in the cards for us...ever.

Nick: Hmm. I mean, I think you like me.

Sharon: A little.

Nick: And I know you're not against marriage. What's going on?

Sharon: Nick, I don't want to hurt you...ever. And I feel like if we got married again, I would end up causing you more pain.

Jack: You are abusing my daughter's kindness and sympathy and naïveté.

Austin: No, sir. I would never do that to Summer, and I would stop anyone else who tried.

Jack: So you talked her into marrying you out of the goodness of your heart?

Austin: I didn't talk her into it. Actually, the wedding was her idea. I tried to talk her out of it, but she's stubborn and weirdly convincing and can kind of talk until you don't know which --

Jack: I'm well aware of my daughter's powers of persuasion. She didn't force you into this marriage.

Austin: No, she didn't. It was my choice. And I won't be bribed into letting her go. She doesn't deserve that.

Jack: And what does she deserve? Heartbreak? That's really all you can offer her, Austin. If you really care about her...

Austin: I do.

Jack: ...Then listen to me. Cops and guns and motel rooms on the run -- that was your courtship. Prison is going to be your marriage. Make no mistake about it. You will be convicted, and one day, your lovely bride in there is going to be standing weeping in a courtroom while they take you out in handcuffs. If you are half the man she thinks you are, don't put her through that.

Austin: I don't know who I am -- not now, not after what I did. But I know Summer. I know that she's been lonely ever since her mother got hurt. I know that she is lonely and scared, and she feels like that she can't live up to anything anyone expects of her, but she's happy with me. She smiles a lot. She bosses me around like she's known me forever, and she sticks to her word. So I have to stick to mine. So, no, Mr. Abbott, I won't be walking away from Summer.

Jack: This is not the life my daughter deserves.

[Door slams]

Summer: He left?

Austin: Yeah. We should actually hit the road. Um, are you hungry? I could make something.

Summer: I heard what you said.

Austin: [Sighs] Look, I'm, uh -- I'm sorry about the bossy stuff. But, you know, you are. [Chuckles]

Summer: [Chuckles] It sounds like you believe in me.

Austin: Are you kidding? Why wouldn't I? Look at you. I've given you every reason to run as fast and as far away from me as possible, but you said you wouldn't go. And you haven't.

Summer: You're not leaving me, and I'm not leaving you, so...looks like we're stuck.

Austin: Yeah.

Summer: Yeah.

Stitch: You said you wouldn't lie to Jack for my sake.

Kelly: And I didn't.

Stitch: But you didn't tell him the rest. Why not?

Kelly: You paid for what you did. You served your time.

Stitch: You mean that?

Kelly: I will never, ever forget what you did, Ben. But I can't walk around angry anymore. I-I just -- I just can't.

Stitch: Okay, well, I don't mean to get all sentimental, but the fact that you don't hate me...

[Footsteps approaching]

Stitch: ...Really makes me happy.

Victoria: Oh, what was the trouble between you two? Did mom always like you best?

Kelly: [Sighs]

Chelsea: Hmm.

[Doorbell rings]

Chelsea: Hi. What?

Billy: That is one ugly outfit.

Chelsea: Take it back!

Billy: What? It's hideous.

Chelsea: What do you know about fashion?

Billy: Well, I know enough to know that that ensemble's a train wreck -- like one of those hazardous-waste train wrecks where you have to evacuate the whole town.

Chelsea: Are you trying to piss me off?

Billy: No, I'm just trying to be honest. That's my new thing, remember?

Chelsea: It's an idea... for Forrester. It's a work in progress, so, um, it's not ready for critique yet. Why don't you mind your own business?

Billy: Sorry. Just trying to help. That's what friends are for, remember?

Chelsea: Friends? Is that what we are now? I thought you didn't like that label.

Billy: I didn't, but since we've been spending so much time together, and we went to Australia...

Chelsea: Because I'm trying to help you get Victoria back. That's all.

Billy: Is that what this is? Just some kind of business arrangement?

Chelsea: Yeah.

Billy: So, that kiss in Australia -- business as usual? Not a friendly kiss?

Chelsea: I thought we weren't going to talk about that. So, what's going on with you and Victoria?

Billy: What makes you think I'm here to talk about Victoria?

Chelsea: Because that's always why you come here. So, what's going on with Victoria?

Billy: Well, I told her that I had the skinny on stitch and Kelly.

Chelsea: You lied?

Billy: No. I got it. Get this -- stitch and Kelly are -- wait for it -- brother and sister.

Chelsea: I thought that -- oh. Ew. Gross. Then I-I really thought they were -- so, they're brother and sister, and they never told anybody?

Billy: Which makes no sense. There's no crime in being related.

Chelsea: Unless there's more to the story.

Billy: Yes, Kevin dug up something on Rayburn. I'm aware, and, no, I still don't want to know.

Chelsea: What about the brother-sister thing? You don't mind knowing that.

Billy: That fell in my lap. No digging required. No action on my part for Victoria to hate me for.

Chelsea: Well, maybe more could fall in your lap, like the fact that Ben Rayburn --

Billy: No. I told you I don't want to know. I'm sticking to that. I told Victoria about the whole sibling thing, and she was mad as hell.

Chelsea: At stitch.

Billy: No, at me. I was expecting her to be all, you know, "hey, Billy, thanks for the information. By the way, happy birthday." But she rips into me, and she storms off, so you know what? Any more information about Rayburn is not gonna help my cause.

Victoria: I don't know why I didn't see it. You call him "Ben." Nobody else calls him "Ben," except for me. You guys must have found it really hilarious when I tried to fix you up, huh?

Kelly: Nothing about this is hilarious, okay? I'm really sorry, Victoria. I keep making things harder for you, and that is not what I want. Um, I'm -- I'm just gonna let you guys talk. Excuse me.

Stitch: I should have told you. I'm sorry.

Victoria: No. No "I'm sorrys." You tell me why. Why did you keep this from me?

Courtney: You missed a spot.

Noah: Hey, do you think it was a bad idea to leave Mariah at the bar? My dad's at home. I'm here. I mean, Mariah's probably stripped the bar and sold it for scrap by now.

Courtney: I could just send a squad car by.

Noah: Really?

Courtney: No. Not really. Noah, she didn't steal your wallet when you set her up, and she's not gonna hock all your silverware in one night.

Noah: We'll see. Girl does have a rap sheet. She's not trustworthy.

Courtney: Speaking of criminals not to be trusted...

Noah: Hey. You want to get away from my sister?

Summer: Noah, stop.

Courtney: They should have never set bail.

Summer: Okay, well, they did, and Austin's free.

Courtney: Yeah, and my chief is still in ICU, and you should be in a cell.

Noah: What are you even doing with him, Summer?

Courtney: This is not the type of person you want to be with.

Summer: Yes, it is. Okay, I want to be with him more than anything, and...that's why he's my husband.

Noah: Your what?

Courtney: Tell me you're not that gullible.

Austin: Hey. Say what you want to me, but watch how you speak to my wife.

Nick: So, marriage to me would just be pain and misery?

Sharon: We've just hurt each other so many times. Cheating and secrets and lies. We've -- we've wounded each other so many times and in so many ways.

Nick: But we know better. We know we have too much to lose now, and you are healthy.

Sharon: I am now. I'm healthy, but I'm not cured. My meds could stop working, Nick.

Nick: And whether we are married or not, I would be right there with you, by your side, the entire time because I love you.

Sharon: I know you do, so let's just leave things how they are -- no -- no changes, no upheaval.

Nick: Was my moving in a bad idea?

Sharon: No. I like things the way they are. I'm happy. Can we just leave it like this and be grateful, please? [Sighs] You haven't been listening to a word I'm saying.

Nick: No, I need to say something, Sharon Newman, because I love you more than anything in this world, and I want to spend every single day of the rest of my life with you. So, Sharon, will you please not marry me?

Sharon: I won't.

[Both chuckle]

Noah: Come here. You and me -- we're gonna have a private conversation.

Summer: Okay, you're just gonna tell me the same things that Jack said, and I'm not gonna care.

Noah: I'm your brother, Summer. I've been your brother your whole life, no matter what that DNA test says. Are you really gonna shut me down?

Summer: [Sighs] Fine. I'll be right back.

Austin: Okay. You know, Summer brags about how tough you are. She respects you. You could go easier on her, though, 'cause it's me you hate, not her.

Courtney: And you do know I'm the one who shot you. So, if anything happens to Summer -- anything -- I promise my aim's gonna be a lot better.

Summer: We're not asking anyone to be happy for us. He's not using me. He's not after the money. Blah, blah, blah. I know.

Noah: Summer, listen. I know how this feels. This thing between you two -- it's exciting, and it's different, and it feels like no one in the whole world could understand. But I went through it with Adriana, okay? Dancing around the law, breaking the rules. I loved her enough that I was gonna turn her life around. Didn't happen. It's not gonna happen with you and that guy.

Summer: Okay, this is not the same thing at all. This is real. Okay, this feeling and this marriage -- it's all real. Okay, and Austin -- he did terrible things, and his mom was ripped out of his life, but now he's sorry, and now he has me.

[Footsteps approaching]

Kelly: Hey. Did you see Summer?

Jack: She married him. She married that cop-shooting son of a --

Kelly: Okay, okay. That's surprising, but let's stay calm.

Jack: Married. That smug little jerk. And Summer's just digging her heels in.

Kelly: [Sighs]

Jack: She's young, she's stupid, and she thinks she's in love.

Kelly: Whoa, Jack, I have never heard you talk about Summer like that.

Jack: [Sighs] No, you're right. You're right. She's -- she's not stupid. She's -- she's a teenager, and she loves the drama.

Kelly: Or maybe she really cares about the guy.

Jack: I got to call Nick -- see if he can talk --

Kelly: No, no, no. Come on. Don't you think one furious father is enough? Why don't you just wait to talk until you're not as wound up?

Jack: She's married to a criminal. Travers' actions are gonna haunt him the rest of his life and haunt her life, too.

Kelly: But Paul is recovering. That's the good news. So, the worst didn't happen, so there is a chance for this Austin guy and a chance for them both.

Jack: Please tell me you are not advocating for this joke of a marriage.

Kelly: Well, no, I'm just saying that I --

Jack: Saying what? Explain it to me, please. For the life of me, I can't understand it.

Stitch: Yeah, I-I kept quiet about Kelly.

Victoria: Your sister.

Stitch: When I said we weren't close, it's true. We've been on the outs for years. You know, and then you invited us to dinner. It -- it was a shock.

Victoria: I know what it's like to not want to be in the same room with your own family. I think maybe I could have understood.

Stitch: It was obvious that Kelly didn't -- didn't want to know me. Okay, she didn't want anyone to know that we were related, so I-I followed her lead.

Victoria: That's fine if it was months ago, but days and nights have gone by since you have had dinner at my house, and you never said a word.

Stitch: Because it was all spinning out -- Billy and Kelly, you and I.

Victoria: You and I what? We got closer? We slept together? We might have created a life together? That's exactly why you should have told me, and you know it. What are you trying to do? Are you trying to prove Billy right? Maybe it was a mistake to trust you.

Billy: I should have just let the whole Rayburn thing drop. I should have talked about us or Johnny or anything but that guy, and now here I am. And whatever you're about to say, especially if it has anything to do with Rayburn, don't. I mean it.

Chelsea: I was gonna say, "happy birthday."

Billy: [Sighs] Thanks.

Chelsea: That's what friends do.

Billy: Yeah. And I suppose that's not the ugliest outfit I've ever seen.

Chelsea: No, it is. I don't know what's happening to me. I think I've lost my mojo. Maybe -- maybe Chloe was my mojo. I don't know.

Billy: Hey, hey. No. Chloe just saw it in you. You've got your own mojo. And that thing wouldn't be so bad...without the belt, or if you...set it on fire.

Chelsea: Maybe. Can you help me get this belt off? Maybe if I did something like -- it's stuck, right? What about this? What about this? Yeah. How about something more like, um -- something a little more like this?

Billy: Nice.

Chelsea: Hmm? Right?

Billy: Looks to me like your mojo is in good working fashion, so I am gonna get out of your hair and let you work.

Chelsea: Oh -- oh, that's okay. I mean, I'm done. I'm done for the night. I mean, I actually might watch the fireworks. It's a -- it's a pretty good view, if you want to stay.

Billy: Oh. Well, what about Connor? I mean, if he's anything like Johnny, he hates the noise.

Chelsea: Oh, Connor's with my mom.

Billy: Oh. Out using him to troll for guys again? "Look how young and fertile I am."

Chelsea: [Chuckling] Probably. But, um, you're right about him and the noise, though. Connor hates it. And there's this weird buzzing sound going on in his room. I don't know if it's the monitor or what -- the wiring or something, but...

Billy: I can have a look at it or a-a listen.

Chelsea: Are you sure?

Billy: Yeah. I mean, you may not know this about me, but I'm -- I'm actually pretty handy around the house.

Chelsea: Really?

Billy: Yeah, I'm famous for it. Just [Chuckles] Let me feel useful today -- just for once.

Chelsea: Okay. Come upstairs and work your magic.

Billy: Hmm.

Chelsea: All right, Billy. Here's your chance to impress me.

Kelly: Look, I am not advocating for this marriage. I realize that it is a hasty, passionate mistake, but that doesn't mean that I think Austin is a lost cause. I am realizing that the concept of redemption is an important one.

Jack: This is all wonderful philosophically. We are talking about my daughter connected for life to a man who shot a cop.

Kelly: Yeah, but is it really for life? Austin did something wrong, and everybody knows what he did, and he's going to go to prison for it. And Summer will visit him and cry, and then she will realize that she is young, and she has her whole life ahead of her. And you could be there for her. You could hold her hand and comfort her while she cries, or you could be the one that she runs to instead of running from.

Jack: If I survive that long.

Kelly: Of course you're gonna survive it.

Jack: Thank you. You're a calming influence on me. Here I'm flipping out, and you're talking me down. Thanks.

Kelly: It's my pleasure. Happy to be of service.

[Fireworks popping, crackling]

Jack: Hey, you know, we could watch those fireworks on the rooftop. What do you say?

Kelly: What about some fireworks right here?

[Popping, crackling continue]

[Fireworks popping, crackling]

[Cheers and applause]

Summer: Look, Noah, I love you. You're my brother, no matter what, but Austin's my husband now, no matter what.

Noah: Married, Summer? Come on. This isn't you.

Summer: Yes, it's completely me. Okay, I know it's crazy and scary, but I'm really happy. So, please just let me be happy for a little bit longer, and don't tell our dad.

Noah: Oh, he doesn't know? That's...great.

Summer: Not unless Jack told him, so please just let me have this for a little bit longer. Please?

Noah: It's not like he can do anything tonight...except freak out.

Summer: Thank you. Okay, I'm gonna go back with Austin now.

Noah: Summer, just --

Austin: Hey.

Noah: [Sighs]

Courtney: Any luck?

Noah: Doesn't look like it.

Look at that!

[Popping, crackling continue]

Courtney: I guess all we can do is look out for him, so... that's what we'll do.

Noah: Yeah.

[Popping, crackling continue]

Nick: I mean, it's not the best view.

Sharon: Mm, well, it's not the worst, either.

Nick: Yeah, it's kind of like us -- in the middle. Not married, not not-married.

Sharon: Yeah, but we're not married. I'm pretty sure about that.

Nick: Right, and in your mind, nothing bad can happen to us.

Sharon: Right.

Nick: Right.

Sharon: I'm sure you're humoring me now. I'm pretty sure you're actually making fun of me over this.

Nick: I am for sure, but I am really enjoying it, so... ah, look, you don't want to marry me. It's cool. Everything is perfect in our little world.

Victoria: I know there's something else you're keeping from me. Look, I can't do this anymore. This is what life was like with Billy -- never knowing what he wasn't saying. If we're gonna have a child together, I want to know you. I want to trust you. I can't go through this anymore -- not for you or for Billy or anyone, really.

Stitch: Look -- Victoria, look at me. Look at me. Hey, please. I love you. I do. And I know I'm not supposed to say that. I know I'm supposed to hang back, be supportive, and give you space, but -- but I love you. Look, you know everything about me, and if you love me, you'll believe me.

Chelsea: See? The buzzing goes in and out.

Billy: And you're sure it's not a bug?

Chelsea: A bug? Please, I know what a fly sounds like.

Billy: Shh. Just let me listen.

[Knock on wall]

Chelsea: Oh, wow. You really are skilled. I'm in awe.

Billy: Well, maybe if you stopped talking...

Chelsea: Oh, I'm sorry. Is my talking getting in the way of your handyman mojo? Would you like me to stop talking? Would you like me to keep talking?

Billy: Okay. You can leave now.

Chelsea: It's okay to admit defeat, you know. I won't tell anybody.

Billy: Hang on.

[Static buzzing]

Billy: I think it's coming from over here.

Chelsea: Okay. Fake it till you make it.

Billy: [Sighs] Seriously, I think it is.

Next on "The Young and the Restless"...

Mariah: You scared the hell out of me! What are you doing here?

Ian: You're not safe in this place.

Nick: I found the key to Ian's weak spot.

Victor: How'd you do that?

Chelsea: I thought maybe it was earlier, but I wasn't sure.

Billy: Yeah.
