Episode # 10425 ~ Avery confronts Ian; Devon & Hilary butt heads; Billy puts Stitch on notice.

Provided By Suzanne

Connor: Dada. Dada. Dada.

Victoria: I told him.

Chelsea: [Scoffs] Victoria, come on in.

Victoria: I told Billy that I was pregnant and that he might not be the father.

Chelsea: Good. I'm glad. He needed to know.

Victoria: Right. Because you don't enjoy the satisfaction you got from holding my pregnancy over my head.

Chelsea: No, I-I didn't enjoy that.

Victoria: Come on. Please. It was perfect payback for me doing it to you.

Chelsea: I hated lying to Billy.

Victoria: Then why didn't you tell him yourself?

Chelsea: Because I thought you should be the person to do the right thing.

Victoria: 'Cause you're such an expert on that.

Chelsea: No, I'm not, but I do know how secrets like this can blow up in your face, and I just -- I think -- I think Billy deserves...

Victoria: Billy deserves what?

Stitch: Let me know when ms. Pruitt is back from her MRI.

Stitch: I can't let this go on like this anymore.

Kelly: You mean that?

Stitch: I care about Victoria. I'm not gonna do to her what I did to Jenna. I'm gonna tell her the truth about my past -- everything.

Victoria: Hi. This is Victoria. I'm unable to take your call right now, so please leave a message at the sound of the beep.

Stitch: Victoria, it's Ben. Uh, I need to speak to you, so, uh... call me when you can. I am at work, Billy. I don't want to fight.

Billy: Neither do I. But we need to talk.

Stitch: About Victoria?

Billy: About how we're gonna make it through the next few weeks.

Stitch: You mean, until we know which one of us is the father of her baby?

Avery: "Revenge is a dish best served cold -- like a delicious key lime pie" -- 4mj. [Sighs] You wait till Dylan's out of town to send your creepiest message yet. [Inhales deeply] [Exhales deeply]

[Cell phone rings]

Avery: Hi. How's Idaho? Did you speak to Willa? Okay, well, she can't avoid you forever. Don't give up. I know I didn't want you to go, but this information that Ian's ex-wife claims to have may be the only way we're gonna get him out of our lives. No, everything's fine. I'm just anxious for you to get home. I miss you a lot.

Austin: Are you sure?

Summer: I'm not a kid anymore.

Austin: I know. It's just --

Summer: Make love to me. Just make me forget about everything and everyone else.

Kelly: Eiffel tower?

Lily: Yes. Good job. [Chuckles]

Kelly: And diamond earrings. Ooh. Let me guess -- someone is trying to send you a message -- perhaps a tall, gorgeous Australian someone?

Lily: [Chuckles] They're birthday presents from cane.

Kelly: Aww.

Lily: Well, hints at the real gift.

Kelly: Wow. Which is?

Lily: A trip to Paris.

Kelly: [Gasps] When are you gonna go?

Lily: Well, we're not sure yet, but we're gonna have a French night at home and listen to Edith Piaf and have escargot and French champagne.

Kelly: French kisses?

Lily: Yes. You know what they say about Paris -- puts you in the mood for love. Maybe you and Jack should plan a trip of your own.

Kelly: Oh, I don't know. I don't think we're ready for that yet -- at least I'm not.

Lily: Is that why you didn't go to London with him?

Kelly: It just didn't -- it didn't seem right. I mean, we're not even in a real relationship yet.

Lily: So then what do you call it?

[Footsteps approaching]

Neil: Ladies. Kelly.

Kelly: Ah, Neil.

Lily: Dad.

Kelly: Are you here for lunch?

Neil: Uh, no, actually, I'm here to wish my beautiful daughter a happy birthday. Here you go. Happy birthday.

Lily: Thank you. It's sweet. But what I would really like is for you to end things with Hilary.

Devon: [Breathing heavily]

[Weight clatters]

Devon: Aah!

Hilary: Devon!

Devon: [Exhales sharply]

Hilary: Are you okay?

Devon: [Inhales sharply] Yeah. I am.

Hilary: I wish you wouldn't do that.

Devon: [Sighs] Do what?

Hilary: You're pushing yourself too hard, and I know why.

Victoria: So, answer the question. What do you think it is that Billy deserves?

Chelsea: To be happy. He hasn't been happy in a really long time.

Victoria: Well, we have Adam to thank for that.

Chelsea: Yes, it started with Delia's death, but --

Victoria: You think that my pregnancy isn't making things any better? Is that what you're saying?

Chelsea: Well, it can't be easy for him, Victoria, knowing stitch could be the father. Are you kidding me? That's probably driving him crazy.

Victoria: You know, what makes you think that you know Billy so well?

Chelsea: No, I-I just meant --

Victoria: Yeah, I'm pretty clear on what you meant. Billy stopped by here the other day when I was here, and he brought you and Connor to the hospital when Connor was sick. You've been spending a lot of time together.

Chelsea: Yeah, he's needed someone to talk to since you kicked him out of the house.

Victoria: Okay, and you've just made yourself available?

Chelsea: Yeah, I did. And I'm glad I've been able to be there for Billy. What he and Chloe gave Connor -- I mean, they sacrificed everything. They lost their daughter, Victoria. Chloe nearly lost her mind. Billy might lose you and his chance at being a father again. I feel guilty every single day for the things that I have, because they don't have those things. I wasn't able to help Chloe, so I'm trying to help Billy save his marriage. That's all.

Victoria: It's a nice speech. I don't believe one word of it.

Chelsea: Are you serious?

Victoria: Well, Chelsea, once a con --

Chelsea: Okay, I get it. We're back to square one. We're really not friends.

Victoria: That's right. And Billy doesn't need a confidant, so stay away from my husband.

Stitch: I didn't mean to throw out the paternity thing like that. Victoria said she was gonna tell you everything.

Billy: Well, why wouldn't she? I'm her husband.

Stitch: I hope you didn't go ballistic when she told you.

Billy: Well, no more than you probably did when she told you the baby's probably mine.

Stitch: I'm not the one who was ready to mix it up in Victoria's living room the other day.

Billy: Our living room -- mine and Victoria's. And I think I had a right to be a little pissed off. I knew you guys were hiding something from me.

Stitch: So now that everything's out in the open, you're okay with it all?

Billy: You know, let me worry about my own emotions. You take care of your own.

Stitch: As a doctor, I know how important it is for an expecting mother to avoid stress.

Billy: Get off it, stitch!

Stitch: Hey.

Billy: All right, we both know Victoria's more than just a patient, and you're freaking about whose baby this is as much as I am.

Stitch: If I am, I'm not gonna let Victoria see it.

Billy: That's all I wanted to hear.

Stitch: If you think that means I'm gonna back away from her, forget it.

Billy: You slept with Victoria once. There's a much better chance that kid is mine than it is yours.

Stitch: Really? Is that how it works? Who knew?

Billy: Well, you may be a doctor, but I'm a gambler. I understand odds, and they're definitely in my favor.

Stitch: What if the baby is mine?

Billy: Well, that's a long shot at best, and add that to the, uh, secret you're hiding from your past -- I like my chances of ending up with Victoria.

Summer: [Sighs]

Austin: What's wrong?

Summer: Uh, nothing. Nothing.

Austin: Wait. Are you all right?

Summer: Yeah.

Austin: This is your first time, isn't it?

Summer: No. Ok-- okay, I've come close a few times, but, yeah, I've never done this before. Why? Was I doing something wrong?

Austin: No, no, no, no. You were doing everything right, but, Summer, your first time should be special -- not like this.

Summer: This -- this is exactly how I want it.

Austin: In some guy's dirty studio apartment where he drinks beer in the middle of the day? That's your dream?

Summer: I've waited, Austin. I've waited for the perfect person, the perfect moment. And there were so many times that I could have done this in the backseat of a car or somebody's parents' couch, but it wasn't right, and -- and this is right -- we're right, and I know that you know it, too.

Austin: Maybe I do, but --

Summer: No, no "buts," okay? I-I want you to be my first.

Austin: I'm -- I'm sorry. Um, I can't do this.

Ian: Avery, what a nice surprise.

Avery: We need to talk.

Ian: Ah. Well, read the next three chapters, and we'll discuss them in our next session.

Ian: Thank you for coming.

Avery: Still peddling your snake oil, I see.

Ian: I'm merely trying to help the young folk find their path in life.

Avery: Right, until the big payday hits.

Ian: The big payday? What? I don't know what you're talking about.

Avery: Don't insult me, Ian. I know exactly what you're up to, and you're not gonna get away with it.

Avery: Door stays open.

Ian: [Chuckles] Man, Nicole has really poisoned all of your minds, hasn't she -- with her one-sided view of the past?

Avery: You know, I formed my own conclusions about you, Ian, based on observation and experience. I've spent enough time in the courtrooms and around criminals to recognize a repeat offender when I see one.

Ian: Mm. Well, just out of curiosity, what, exactly, are you accusing me of?

Avery: You're trying to do the same scam to Dylan and me that you did to Nikki and Summer, only now you've upped the game, haven't you? You're using social media. No surprise -- you're using the anonymity of the internet to terrorize me, right, 4mj?

Ian: Is that some sort of code?

Avery: Oh, come on. It's the name that you're using. You're hiding behind it when you threaten me.

Ian: Why would I do something like that?

Avery: To unnerve me, Ian!

Ian: Ah.

Avery: You think if you keep going, you're hoping that it'll just get too much for me, and Dylan and I will do anything to make you go away -- pay you anything, right? Like you did to Nikki and Summer. It didn't work with them. It's certainly not gonna work with me.

Ian: You'd better sit down. Let me get you a glass of water.

Avery: I don't want water, Ian!

Ian: You're distraught now, and that -- that -- that worries me. I hate this. Please, we should really talk about this.

Avery: [Scoffs]

Summer: Why did you stop? Is it the virgin thing that I told you?

Austin: No, I-it's not that.

Summer: Okay, then you must not be that into me.

Austin: I'm totally into you, okay? If things were different...

Summer: What "things"?

Austin: It doesn't matter. I -- we just can't do this.

Summer: Did you get back together with your girlfriend? Is that what this is?

Austin: No.

Summer: Okay, then what is it? Just tell me. Please, I don't -- I don't need you to protect me.

Austin: I'm not, okay? And I think that you're great.

Summer: I think that you're great, too.

Austin: You barely know me.

Summer: I do know you.

Austin: We just met.

Summer: Yeah, and the second that we met, I felt a connection. Okay, you have the same empty space in your heart that I do, and you're lost without your mom, just like I am.

Austin: That doesn't mean you should trust me.

Summer: No, it doesn't, but I do, and I have this feeling inside of me that you're a good guy.

Austin: You have a feeling, but you don't know. I could be some complete psycho.

Summer: Yeah, but I know that you're not.

Austin: Summer, I'm trying to do the right thing here.

Summer: I know, and this -- this is right... and we both want it.

Neil: Maybe we can start this all over again, because I really don't want to fight with you about Hilary.

Lily: Neither do I.

Kelly: Hey, uh, lily, why don't you open your gift? I mean, look at that wrapping job. That's really beautiful.

Lily: Yeah, it is beautiful.

Kelly: You know, I think I recognize that paper. Um, that's from, uh, Lauren's new boutique, I think.

Lily: Oh. What a coincidence. That's Hilary's favorite place to shop. She tell you to get my gift there to score points with her boyfriend's daughter?

Neil: All my idea.

Kelly: You know what? I just remembered I have some phone calls to make, so if you need me, I'm gonna be in the office.

Neil: Well, seems like you and Kelly have become good friends.

Lily: I trust her.

Neil: Even though she's partly responsible for ruining Victoria and Billy's marriage, and now -- now she's with Jack.

Lily: Kelly feels bad about the pain that she's caused.

Neil: Why can't you give Hilary the same chance you're giving Kelly?

Hilary: It's pretty obvious that you were taking out your anger at Neil and me on those weights.

Devon: I don't know what you're talking about.

Hilary: Devon, be honest.

Devon: Hilary, I have more important things on my mind than you and Neil, so if you don't mind, I'm gonna go shower and take care of some of them.

Hilary: Devon, wait.

Devon: Aah. Yeah? [Inhales sharply]

Hilary: I get why lily hates me, all right? I tried to ruin her marriage. She will never forgive me for that. But you -- you -- I thought you believed that I was trying to make up for what I did to your family.

Devon: By getting involved with Neil?

Hilary: If I make him happy, what is the problem with --

Devon: I don't want to talk about you guys.

Hilary: Why can't you just be happy for me -- for Neil? He's good for me, okay? And I'm good for him. I'm not used to that.

Devon: Really? 'Cause I thought mason was good for you.

Hilary: [Scoffs] Getting involved with mason was a mistake. Have you ever made one of those?

Devon: Yes, I have. It was thinking that --

Hilary: Thinking that what?

Devon: It's -- it really doesn't matter, okay? [Sighs]

Hilary: Hey, are you okay?

Devon: Yeah, I'm fine. I'm fine. [Inhales sharply]

Hilary: Okay, did you drop that weight on your foot?

Devon: Yeah. I'm okay.

Hilary: Devon, it could be broken.

Devon: It's -- it's not broken. I didn't break my foot -- just maybe some toes.

Hilary: Okay, you need to have it looked at.

Devon: I'll take care of it.

Hilary: No, no, this can't wait. You're going to the hospital. I'm driving you. Okay? Come on. Lean on me. Come on.

Devon: [Sighs]

Chelsea: You want me to stay away from Billy?

Victoria: Well, you guys haven't exactly been good for each other in the past.

Chelsea: Oh, well, there's Johnny, so I wouldn't say it was all bad.

Victoria: [Sighs] Look, I'm just saying that I think it would be best for everyone if you kept your distance.

Chelsea: "Everyone"?

Victoria: Okay. Billy.

Chelsea: If I kept my distance, Billy wouldn't even know you were pregnant.

Victoria: And if this baby turns out to be Billy's, he never needed to know that stitch might have been the father.

Chelsea: Victoria, do you seriously think I am trying to cause trouble for you and Billy?

Victoria: I don't know. You tell me.

Chelsea: I am trying to keep you guys together.

Victoria: So you say.

Chelsea: What else would it be?

Victoria: I don't know, all right? Just stay away from him.

Chelsea: Oh, my god. Victoria, wait. Do you think I'm trying to break you and Billy up because I want him for myself?

Victoria: Do you?

Chelsea: Billy.

Victoria: Billy, what are you doing here?

Billy: I was just about to ask you the same thing.

Victoria: Um, well, I just came by to thank Chelsea for letting me tell you about the baby. I-I hope you're not upset with her for keeping my secret.

Billy: No, of course not.

Victoria: Really? That's good.

Billy: Well, now that we've got everything out in the open, how are you feeling?

Victoria: [Sighs] I feel a lot less stressed.

Billy: Mm. Well, I promise to do my part to keep it that way. I just hope stitch does the same.

Victoria: I'm sure that Ben is just as concerned about me as you are.

Billy: Well, as an effort to keep my promise, I won't argue with you about that.

Victoria: Thanks. I appreciate that. Um, okay, well, I'm gonna go. Do you want to walk out with me?

Billy: Uh, you, uh, go ahead. Um, I'll catch up with you later.

Victoria: Okay. Sure. Chelsea.

Chelsea: Well... that could have been more awkward somehow.

Billy: Yeah, look, I'm sorry you got put in the middle of all this.

Chelsea: It's okay. As long as it helps to get you and Victoria back together, it's no big deal. I'm just glad my part in all this is done.

Billy: Yeah, uh, actually, that's why I stopped by.

Chelsea: What do you mean?

Billy: I need you to help me get Ben Rayburn out of Victoria's life.

Got some good shots. I think you're gonna like them. Before you ask, she has no idea anyone's following her.

Lily: You can't compare what Kelly did with Billy to what Hilary did to us.

Neil: They were both grieving. They both made mistakes.

Lily: Kelly found comfort in Billy's arms once. Hilary tormented our family for months.

Neil: Okay, all right, all right. Let's not talk about Kelly. Let's talk about cane for a minute -- the pain that he caused you when he lied to you about his identity and who his father was, right? I begged you to break things off with him -- not to let him anywhere near you or the kids.

Lily: That's completely different.

Neil: I was so sure that he was wrong for you -- as you are that Hilary and I don't belong together.

Lily: But you were wrong.

Neil: So are you. I gave cane a chance because I know how much you loved him, and I wanted you to be happy. Why -- why can't you do the same thing for me?

[Cell phone rings]

Lily: Oh, let me guess.

Neil: What?

Lily: No, it's fine. Take it. I have some work to do.

Neil: Yeah, hi. What? Memorial? Just -- what happened? Okay, tell Devon that I'm on my way. All right. Bye-bye. That was --

Austin: Okay, Summer, I'm sorry, but I can't get involved with anyone. It's not a part of the plan.

Summer: What plan?

Austin: I came to Genoa City to do a job.

Summer: Yeah, my aunt's show.

Austin: Right. Look, I have a short-term lease on this place, and as soon as it's over, I have no reason to stay.

Summer: I don't believe you.

Austin: Even if I wanted to stay, I have to go where the next assignment takes me.

Summer: My aunt's show is a hit. You could be working here for a long time, which -- this gives us a chance to really get to know each other.

Austin: Yeah, your aunt Avery might have something to say about that.

Summer: Yeah, she was just being overprotective earlier. She feels like she has to look out for me since my mom's not here.

Austin: Must be the "defender of the innocent" in her.

Summer: Well, I made it clear that I am not innocent and that I don't need to be protected... especially from you.

Avery: What is this? I don't want anything from you.

Ian: Well, then why are you here?

Avery: To tell you to stop trying to intimidate me with your mind games. That may work on these young, naive girls, but it doesn't work on me or Dylan.

Ian: Mm. Such moral outrage. You must be something in the courtroom -- going up against the legal system, demanding justice for all your clients.

Avery: I fight for the innocent.

Ian: Aren't we all innocent until proven guilty?

Avery: Oh, you want proof, Ian? Let me give you proof that I know what you're up to.

Ian: Ah.

Avery: "Now I've seen more, but this is still not the real Avery bailey Clark."

Ian: [Sighs]

Avery: "Going to 'the talk' -- some things you def. Won't tell the world."

Ian: You are so obviously overwrought. Ah, perhaps it's because of this last message here. "Revenge is a dish best served cold -- like a delicious key lime pie."

Avery: Yeah, I'm sure you didn't write that one, either.

Ian: No, but whoever did obviously struck a nerve.

Avery: Why would it?

Ian: Well, I think you're probably the only one who would know that for sure. But it looks like, uh, someone felt that you wronged them and intend to make things right.

Avery: This is ridiculous. There's nothing in my past that -- oh, this is what you do. Isn't it? You get me to lose myself, right? You get me to lose my cool.

Ian: [Chuckles] You know, sometimes, we hide our guilt so deep down inside that we forget it's even there, and then something happens that brings it to the surface, like those messages on the internet.

Avery: The ones that you sent.

Ian: There's no shame in having past sin.

Avery: [Sighs] Okay.

Ian: But blaming innocent people for your own transgressions is just destructive. You have to shed all this emotional armor you've been carrying around for years and look into your heart and your memory and your conscience, and that can be a terrifying thing to do alone. But with the right guide --

Avery: Get off me. You go to hell.

[Door slams]

Summer: Why are we wasting time talking about my aunt when we could be getting to know each other?

Austin: I can't. I have to get over to post to do some editing.

Summer: Now?

Austin: Unless I want to lose my job, and then there goes my reason to stay in Genoa City.

Summer: Okay. Well, in other words, "get out, little girl."

Austin: I didn't want to say it like that.

Summer: It's fine. I can wait if you can.

Austin: You're not making it easy.

Summer: Yeah, that's kind of the idea. I'll see you at work... or whatever.

Stitch: Oh. Hey.

Victoria: Sorry.

Stitch: Hey.

Victoria: Hey.

Stitch: Did you, uh -- did you get my message?

Victoria: Um, I'm just picking up a refill on my prenatal vitamins.

Stitch: Oh.

Victoria: Yeah. So, um, why'd you call?

Stitch: First, I wanted to know how it went with Billy when you told him about the pregnancy and everything. I got his version.

Victoria: You saw Billy?

Stitch: No punches were thrown.

Victoria: I wonder why he didn't say anything about seeing you when I saw him earlier.

Stitch: Maybe he didn't want to upset you.

Victoria: Yeah, maybe.

Stitch: Or maybe there's another reason.

Victoria: Mm. Like what?

Stitch: He seemed awfully confident that you two were gonna end up back together, no matter who the father of the baby is.

Victoria: Oh. Yeah, he does.

Stitch: Does he know something I don't?

Chelsea: I don't think I'm the best person to help you get stitch out of Victoria's life.

Billy: You're the perfect person.

Chelsea: What? She's never gonna listen to anything I have to say about the guy.

Billy: Yeah, it was obvious when I walked in here you guys have fallen off the BFF wagon.

Chelsea: Exactly. So, if you don't want me to help get stitch out of Victoria's life, then what do you want me t-- actually, I don't want to know. Nope. I don't even want to know. Mnh-mnh.

Billy: Come on, Chelsea. I mean...

Chelsea: [Sighs]

Billy: You want Victoria and I to get back together again, don't you?

Chelsea: What ever happened to you not wanting to get me involved in your problems?

Billy: Stitch is a phony, and he is hiding something -- something bad. I know it.

Chelsea: So what is it, exactly, that you want me to do?

Billy: Well, don't take this the wrong way, but, um, it takes a con to catch a con.

[Keys jingle]

Kelly: Oh.

Avery: Damn it. [Sighs]

Kelly: There you go.

Avery: Thank you.

Kelly: You're very welcome. Is that everything?

Avery: Yeah.

Kelly: Um, can I get you something -- maybe some water? You look a little upset.

Avery: Uh, no. No. I'm fine. Are -- are you new?

Kelly: No, uh, lily hired me, um, a little while ago.

Avery: I'm Avery bailey Clark.

Kelly: Hi.

Avery: Hi.

Kelly: Nice to meet you.

Summer: Aunt Avery, hi. Um, I'm really happy I ran into you. I really wanted to talk to you about Aust...in.

Avery: Oh, have you two met?

Summer: Yeah. We've -- we've met. I'll talk to you later.

Avery: Uh, that was rude. I'm -- I'm sorry.

Kelly: That's okay. She's just being protective of her mother.

Avery: You're the woman that Jack is seeing?

Kelly: Yes, and for the record, I am not trying to take your sister's place. I hear nobody can. [Chuckles]

Avery: Well, you're right about that. But Jack deserves to be happy.

Kelly: Thank you.

Avery: Uh, I should check on Summer.

Kelly: Nice to meet you, Avery.

[Cell phone beeps]

Kelly: [Chuckles] "Bloody old England's bloody awful without you." [Chuckles]

Lily: London calling?

Kelly: [Gasps] Yeah. Jack misses me.

Lily: Sounds like a relationship to me.

Hilary: The nurse said a half an hour ago that the doctor would be here any minute.

Devon: I appreciate you bringing me to the hospital, but you don't have to stay here.

Hilary: I just -- I feel responsible, you know? If you hadn't have been taking your anger out at your dad and me on those weights...

Devon: I told you -- I'm not angry at you and Neil. I just wish...

Hilary: You wish what?

Devon: I wish a lot of things.

Hilary: The guy with $2 billion in the bank has a lot of unfulfilled wishes. Hmm. This I got to hear.

Devon: [Chuckles]

Hilary: If you could have any wish in the whole world, what would it be?

[Door opens]

Neil: Hey. How's the patient?

Stitch: I was just wondering if anything changed between you two.

Victoria: As much as he would like it to, no.

Stitch: He said he wasn't gonna hassle you.

Victoria: Yeah, well, he can't help it, you know? Billy wants what he wants when he wants it.

Stitch: Even if he can't have it?

Victoria: Yeah, it just makes him want it more.

Stitch: Yeah, well, that's not good for you.

Victoria: But you know what? You're right. I need stability now, and I can't be dealing with somebody else's baggage.

Stitch: You shouldn't have to.

Victoria: I knew you'd understand

Stitch: I should let you get to the pharmacy. [Chuckles]

Victoria: Oh, Ben, hold on. You said you wanted to talk to me about something.

Chelsea: I don't know whether to pour you another drink or toss this one in your face.

Billy: Well, it'd be a shame to waste good liquor. I am trying to pay you a compliment.

Chelsea: If that's what that was, then I think you need to work on your social skills.

Billy: [Chuckling] Come on. Look, I have complete admiration for your talent as a, uh, artist.

Chelsea: I was a con artist, not Picasso.

Billy: Well, Pablo won't be able to help me figure out what stitch is hiding.

Chelsea: And I will?

Billy: Kevin turned me down. You're my last hope.

Chelsea: Oh, well, I'm flattered.

Billy: Look, [Sighs] I know stitch looks squeaky-clean, you know, with his doctor's license and honorable discharge from the army. Hell, he even puts in a few hours at the free clinic. But his wife dumped him and took his kid, and I'm gonna figure out why, and when I do, Victoria is gonna kick him out of her life, too, even if he is the father to her baby. So I just need you to channel your inner grifter and help me figure out what his deep, dark secret is.

Chelsea: Billy, stop talking.

Billy: Does this mean you're not gonna help me?

Chelsea: It means I know how to get your family back.

I'll be back next week with more photos. Won't be long before you can see them in person.

Avery: Hey. Hey. I'm so sorry about that before. I had no idea that Kelly --

Summer: It doesn't matter.

Avery: Well, obviously, it does. Otherwise, you would have acknowledged her existence upstairs.

Summer: I had to warm up before yoga class.

Avery: Summer, you told me that you were upset that Jack is seeing someone.

Summer: He's sleeping with her, aunt Avery. We're both adults, so just call it what it is.

Avery: Jack and Kelly are together?

Summer: Mom is in a coma, and dad's moved on with another woman.

Avery: I know that hurts.

Summer: It's part of growing up, right -- accepting things that you can't change? But my own life, on the other hand -- I can control.

Avery: Meaning?

Summer: Meaning that if I want to be with Austin, I'm gonna be with him, no matter what you or anyone else tells me.

Avery: Okay, you know what? You're absolutely right. You're not a child. You can make your own choices. And you can make your own mistakes. And I don't want to see you get hurt.

Summer: Don't worry. I won't.

Austin: You claim to work for justice. Don't look now, but justice is about to be served.

Lily: We have five weddings and two graduations this month.

Kelly: Mm, don't forget the father's day brunch. Have you made your reservations yet?

Lily: Wow. You're so subtle.

Kelly: Look -- it's sitting there, staring at you.

Lily: Packages can't stare.

Kelly: Well, begging you, then, to open it. Come on. You know you want to. Lily, come on. It's from your dad.

Lily: Fine. I'll open it. [Sighs]

Kelly: Oh, my gosh. That is so beautiful. That is perfect for Paris.

Lily: It is beautiful. Although if Hilary picked it out, I'm tempted to return it.

Kelly: You might want to read this first.

Lily: "Saw this in the window of Lauren's new boutique and thought it was just the kind of thing...your mom would have bought for you. So, from both of us, happy birthday, sweetheart. We love you."

Kelly: Looks like there's a gift receipt in there if you want to return it.

Lily: No, I'll -- I'll keep it.

Neil: You must have been crazy-mad to take your anger out on some gym equipment, son.

Devon: I never said that's what happened.

Neil: Well, I'm thankful Hilary was there.

Devon: Yep.

Neil: I'm very grateful that you took this kid to the hospital.

Hilary: He didn't even want to admit that he was hurt. Practically had to drag him here.

Neil: All right, listen -- I don't mean to hit you when you're on the injured reserve, but I hope you haven't given Hilary a hard time about our relationship, man. She came to your rescue. You realize that?

Devon: I understand that.

Hilary: We had an interesting talk.

Devon: We did, and I'm all talked out, to be honest, so you guys can go ahead and take off.

Neil: I was gonna stick around until the doctor came to see you.

Devon: No, I appreciate that, but, no, I'd rather wait on my own.

Neil: You sure about that?

Devon: I'm sure.

Neil: Well, let's go, then. Hey, next time, be careful. And remember -- keep one foot in front of the other.

Hilary: Take care.

Devon: Thanks.

Victoria: So, what did you want to talk to me about?

Stitch: You asked me to stay away and give you space more than once, um, and I'm gonna do it this time because that's what you need.

Victoria: Yeah. Yeah, that's what I said. That's what I said I wanted.

Stitch: Have you changed your mind?

Victoria: Ben, I thought I could do this alone, but I can't, and I just -- I can't.

Stitch: Come here. [Sighs] Hey. You're not alone, Victoria. You're not alone.

Victoria: You have no idea how badly I needed to hear that. [Sighs]

Billy: So, what's your plan?

Chelsea: The key to unlocking someone's past is through personal connections.

Billy: No, I've already done that. Dylan won't say anything, and neither will Kelly.

Chelsea: The woman you had sex with -- no.

Billy: Well, she does have history with the guy.

Chelsea: No, I'm not talking about either one of them. I'm talking about someone a lot closer to stitch -- someone who knows all of his secrets, yet isn't particularly a big fan of his.

Billy: And do you have someone in mind?

Chelsea: His ex-wife.

Next on "The Young and the Restless"...

Lauren: Chloe needs to heal.

Kevin: No, I have to get to California. I have to bring her back here.

Avery: You and Dylan are in this together, aren't you? How illegal is your plan?

Nick: The last straw is about dad, because he always has another dirty move up his sleeve.
