Episode # 10421 ~ Nick accuses Victor of abusing Cassie's memory; Victoria feels the weight of her secret.

Provided By Suzanne

Stitch: How'd it taste?

Victoria: Um...like food, sort of.

Stitch: Well, at least you managed to eat something -- and it was healthy.

Victoria: Hey, thanks for going to all that trouble. It was really nice of you. And thank you for trying the Brussels sprouts like a big boy.

Stitch: [Chuckles] I got to admit, they weren't as terrible as I remember them from childhood.

Victoria: [Chuckles] Yeah. A lot of things are like that.

Stitch: So, uh, what do you want to do now? You want to maybe watch some TV, take a nap?

Victoria: Actually, I want to call Billy.

Billy: So, am I right? Is Victoria ready to pull the trigger on a divorce? You dodged the whole thing before.

Chelsea: If I really thought that I could help you --

Billy: Yeah, and now you're dodging it again. Victoria is cutting me out of the loop on something huge and life-changing. Just help me out here!

Chelsea: You're right, okay? [Sighs] There's something you need to know.

Billy: Okay. What is it?

Chelsea: I really don't want to be the one to tell you this, and if I thought you would be better off, I'd leave it alone. But it's just not right.

Billy: What's not right?

Chelsea: Billy...

Billy: Would you stop dancing around this and just tell me what this is about?

Chelsea: It's about Victoria.

Jill: Oh, my God. That manipulative, infuriating, generous old bat. Katherine, you didn't just leave me a portrait and a stupid music box. You loved me. Oh, my God. This is genius. Do you know how genius this is for her to take these clues and -- and lead to this priceless heirloom she left me?

Colin: You?

Jill: Well, yes, me. Obviously, it's my necklace.

Colin: And, obviously, what's yours is mine. I mean, it's called "communal property," darling.

Sharon: This day never gets any easier, does it?

Nick: Not one bit.

Sharon: Every year when the anniversary of Cassie's death comes around, I... I miss my daughter even more.

Nick: But some things have changed since...this time last year.

Sharon: You mean Mariah?

Nick: No, Sharon. That woman means nothing to me. I was talking about us. We're no longer two grieving parents. We're two people who have found their way back to each other.

Sharon: Of course. I guess it just doesn't seem as monumental to me because, um, some part of me has always thought of us as being together.

Nick: Well, now, that could be the E.C.T. talking. I mean, your memory's pretty selective if you forgot all those years we spent apart.

Sharon: That's not what I meant, but it doesn't matter anyway. We are together now. And I hope somehow Cassie knows that.

Nick: She does. And I'm betting she's very happy.

Nick: You have no place here, dad.

Victor: Son, Cassie was my granddaughter, okay? I've every right to be here. I pay my respects every year, as I do now. You're not gonna keep me from it. These are forget-me-nots. [Sighs heavily] I shall never, ever forget you.

Nick: It's hypocrisy. You exploited your granddaughter's memory, and you hired someone to impersonate her, nearly driving her mother over the edge. You shouldn't be here right now.

Sharon: Not today, Nick -- not here.

Victor: I waited, thinking that the two of you would come earlier this morning to pay your respects, okay? I would never have intruded on your time with the memory of your child, but I've done that. You know, I just remember -- it now seems years ago -- at her memorial service. I talked about her grace and her dignity, even as she left us. I haven't forgotten about that, and I never will. Sweet girl, may the angels of light be with you.

Colin: Not only are we still married, but we have a prenup you signed.

Jill: [Scoffs] That glorified piece of blackmail?

Colin: Yeah, that says I have half of everything you own.

Jill: Baby, that is bogus. That will never stand up. You were holding me prisoner to make me sign it and marry you.

Colin: As you held me prisoner to make me burn our divorce agreement. But...I never did burn it because you let me go.

Jill: Because you tricked me, you cheat.

Colin: Au contraire! I said I'd lead you to Katherine's treasure, and I did! Look! Voilą!

Jill: Don't "voilą" me! I knocked it out of the chandelier with a pillow when I was trying to hit you!

Colin: Yeah, which you missed!

Jill: Oh, I'm not gonna miss you this time!

Colin: Wait a minute. I got to get the treasure out of the way before you --

Jill: Wait, wait, wait, wait. What is that? Whatever it is, it's mine.

Colin: What? No, it's not.

Jill: It's mine. Open it. Open it. No, no, no! No, open it!

[Paper tears]

Jill: G-- look what you did!

Colin: What?!

[Knock on door]

Genoa City police! Come to the door, please!

Stitch: You...want to call Billy?

Victoria: I want to tell him I'm pregnant, Ben.

Stitch: I thought you wanted to wait.

Victoria: No, I know, but I shouldn't. You're right. I should tell him before he figures it out himself or before he hears it from someone else.

Stitch: It won't be easy.

Victoria: No, it's not gonna be easy, but at least it'll be -- I don't know -- fair. Look, you were the one who was pushing me to do this, right?

Stitch: Now you're gonna listen to me? Okay. Okay. You'll...probably want to get him over here so you can tell him face-to-face, yeah?

Victoria: Yes. I owe him that.

Stitch: Look, the longer you wait...

Victoria: I know -- the longer I wait, the harder it will be. I know.

Stitch: Look, I --

Victoria: But the thought of telling Billy what he's wanted to hear for so many years, telling him that I'm pregnant, is just... [Sighs]

Stitch: I-I know it's scary. And, look, I'll stay here as long as you want, but if you know how I can help you, please tell me, 'cause I have no idea.

Victoria: Why don't you just stay here a little bit longer? 'Cause it's kind of helping already.

Stitch: If it's any consolation, I-I'm kind of feeling it, too. In some ways, I'm even more nervous than you are.

Victoria: How is that even possible?

Stitch: I know that this baby can bring you and Billy back together. That's not what I want.

Billy: Victoria confided in you about what -- a divorce? Chelsea, what is it?

Chelsea: I-I-I'm so sorry, Billy. I-I think you should go.

Billy: But now, before you tell me what this is about?!

Chelsea: I think you should go to the house and you should ask Victoria. She should tell you, not me.

Billy: Why are you jerking me around?

Chelsea: No, I'm not! I'm not jerking you around. I just -- I think you should talk to her.

Billy: Okay. So, this new information or whatever it is -- it's the reason why you and Victoria are such BFFs now, is it? Is it about stitch?

Chelsea: Please. Please, Billy. Just go. I shouldn't have said anything. Please.

Billy: Okay, just give me this much, at least -- is stitch involved?

Chelsea: You need to get your answers from Victoria.

Billy: Like I have a choice.

Chelsea: [Sighs] Billy... if you need someone to talk to afterwards, you know where to find me.

Billy: Right.

Jill: Officer, please come in. How can we help you?

We're looking for... you're the missing person.

Colin: I beg your pardon?

Cane: Dad! It's you!

Colin: Well, yeah. I live here.

Cane: But where have you been?

Colin: It's so nice to be missed. Look, I'm glad you dropped by, especially as you brought a policeman, because we --

Jill: Your concern was contagious. I was beginning to get very worried. But look -- here he is, in the flesh, back from his business trip.

Cane: I am sorry for the false alarm, officer. Looks like the missing person is no longer missing. [Tersely] Another case closed. I'm glad everything's okay.

Cane: Thank you. Thanks again, officer. I appreciate it. So... where was the, uh, business trip you went on, dad? What, did you go to the outback?

Colin: What do you mean?

Cane: Well, have you seen the way you look? You need to have a shower and shave and change of clothes, don't you think?

Colin: Yeah. I should work on that.

Cane: No, no, no, no, no, no. You can answer my questions. Why didn't you reply to my phone calls, texts, or e-mails?

Colin: I-I got tied up um...

Jill: North. Canada.

Colin: Yeah, Canada. It was a remote part of Canada. Um...

Jill: Saskatchewan.

Cane: Yeah?

Colin: Saskatchewan.

Cane: What were you doing there?

Jill: Gas.

Colin: Oil. Oil and -- and gas. I got involved with some wildcatters up there who promised me a piece of the energy pie. Turned out it was pie in the sky.

Jill: Yeah. The important thing is that he's back safe. You know, he was very, very concerned about you, so, honey, relax. Take lily out to dinner. There's nothing to worry about.

Cane: Really? Hmm. You see, I'm not so sure of that, dad.

Sharon: I believe what your father said. He didn't come here intending to interrupt us.

Nick: You were awfully nice to him.

Sharon: Shouldn't I have been?

Nick: Sharon, he took your deepest wound, the death of our daughter, and tried to cause you more pain with that.

Sharon: I haven't forgotten what he did, but...

Nick: You've forgiven him?

Sharon: ...Still... I don't know how to make you understand because I don't really understand myself.

Nick: Talk to me, then. You know, maybe we can understand it together.

Sharon: When Cassie died, she was frozen in time for me, an unchanging image of a child who died too soon. And then Mariah showed up.

Nick: Because of my father.

Sharon: Well, it doesn't matter why. What matters is the gift she gave me.

Nick: Gift?

Sharon: A glimpse into the future of what our daughter would have looked like if she'd had the chance to grow up like every other child.

Nick: That resemblance is only skin-deep, Sharon. Our daughter never would have turned out like Mariah. Cassie was good-hearted and loved and equally loved in return. Mariah is callous and self-serving, just like the man who hired her.

Sharon: Well, your father's paying for that now -- Nikki leaving him, you and Noah turning your backs on him. Even Mariah's paying for her crimes in that jail in Oregon.

Nick: Good. Then she can leave you alone. Look... we are right here... and we will always have the perfect memory of our perfect daughter. Did you hear what I said? Sharon?

Sharon: I'm okay.

Nick: You don't look okay.

Sharon: Nick, maybe it's because we're here on this day, in this place, but... I remember something else.

Chelsea: It's not really a good time, Victor. I just put Connor down for a nap.

Victor: Oh. I was hoping to see my grandson. I mean, if you just put him to bed, maybe he's still awake. I can read a story to him.

Chelsea: Well, I don't want to wake him. I don't think he needs a story, so you wasted a trip.

Victor: Something the matter? I thought you and I had an understanding.

Chelsea: I understand, all right. I understand what you did to Sharon.

Victor: Why is that of concern to you?

Chelsea: Aren't I allowed to have an opinion?

Victor: Are you forgetting that I protected Adam when he needed protection the most... that helped you get Connor back from Paris after Chloe had kidnapped him?

Chelsea: I haven't forgotten those things. And Sharon did say that --

Victor: What the hell did Sharon say?

Chelsea: She said that you hired that woman to protect Nick from some deep, dark secret of Sharon's.

Victor: And that makes me look better in your estimation?

Chelsea: It just makes me wonder -- how far are you willing to go?

Victor: How far are you willing to go to protect Connor, the boy that you love more than anything? How far would you be willing to go to protect him? Tell me.

Stitch: I'm sorry, Victoria. I keep trying to back off and give you space till you have the test and know for sure, but... it's getting harder and harder to stay away from you.

Victoria: You miss your little boy. It only makes sense that you want to have another child.

Stitch: It's more than that.

Victoria: I'm really finding it hard to stay away from you, too. [Sighs] I can't do this. I can't put this off anymore. I have to call Billy. [Sighs]

Stitch: Hey, what's wrong?

Victoria: Oh, nothing. It's just nerves, you know? [Sighs]

Stitch: I... have a cure for that.

Victoria: Oh, do you, dr. Rayburn?

Stitch: I do. I do. Here. Have a seat.

Victoria: Why? [Chuckles]

Stitch: Let me massage your shoulders. What? You did the same thing for me that morning after I slept on your couch. Consider it payback.

Victoria: You don't have to.

Stitch: All right, come on. Let's -- let's get this off.

Victoria: [Laughing] What? Really? Okay.

Stitch: On the sofa. [Sighs]

Victoria: [Chuckles]

Stitch: [Chuckles]

Victoria: [Sighs]

Stitch: How's that feel?

Victoria: That feels really nice.

Stitch: Have you thought about how you want the test results to turn out?

Victoria: No, I just want the baby to be healthy. I don't care if it's a boy or girl.

Stitch: That's not what I mean.

[Knock on door]

Stitch: Hey, you stay here. I'll get it.

Billy: I just happened to be in the neighborhood and thought I'd drop by. God, I hope I'm interrupting something.

Jill: Honey, don't be silly.

Colin: Look, we don't want to get rid of you.

Jill: You must have better things to do than worry about us.

Cane: So, uh, did Jill happen to tell you about a business card I found in your wallet while you were off in, uh...

Both: Saskatchewan.

Cane: ...Saskatchewan? Yeah?

Colin: Yeah, she might have mentioned it. But, hey, come on. I get cards all the time.

Cane: Oh, um... how 'bout this one? Do you recognize it?

Colin: Yeah. Yeah. I got that one from a guy in a bar.

Cane: Don't lie to me! You knew I was looking for a company who was leading the fight in cancer research.

Jill: You think he was --

Cane: Yeah. He primed the pump with Bonaventure, knowing I would acquire it 'cause of what lily was going through, so I want you to admit to me right now -- admit to me that you set me up.

Colin: Damn right I did! I did it for you!

Sharon: I feel like I'm chasing a fragment, like a splinter, of a memory the E.C.T. Didn't take away.

Nick: We could call dr. Mead.

Sharon: No. I need to do this here with you.

Nick: Okay. So, then we have you here sometime last year.

Sharon: I remember I was feeling fragile and that I was holding on to memories of Cassie to get me through. [Gasps] Oh, my God. Is that when --

Nick: Well, I don't know when the Cassie sightings started -- I mean, the visions, not -- not Mariah.

Sharon: Thinking of Cassie...

Nick: All right, look, Sharon -- I think maybe we should go 'cause it might be too hard on you.

Sharon: No. You know what? Being here is doing something to me. I-it's -- it's stirring something that I haven't been able to recall or understand. And that's why...

Nick: What is it?

Sharon: Whatever happened here last year, Nick, was important, and you were here. You were a part of it.

Chelsea: There's nothing I wouldn't do to protect Connor -- even take out a restraining order against my own best friend.

Victor: Well, Chloe left you no choice.

Chelsea: Well, she didn't have a choice, either. She was sick.

Victor: Well, did she check herself into a clinic?

Chelsea: In California.

Victor: Really?

Chelsea: Chloe couldn't protect Delia, and Billy is still reeling from everything. I mean, I feel like he's gonna get worse before he gets better.

Victor: What do you mean, Billy? Why was he here?

Chelsea: I don't know. We've -- we've bonded, you know, over the Chloe stuff. We've become...friends.

Victor: You've bonded with Billy? I would have thought you'd choose your friends more wisely.

Chelsea: Well, I never would have met Billy if someone hadn't paid me to meet him.

Victor: Chelsea, that's a long time ago, okay? Don't you get involved with Billy Abbott, for heaven's sake. He's a loser. He's -- my God! That man cannot be trusted!

Chelsea: That's what he said about you.

Victor: Of course that's what he said about me! Do you think I give a damn what he says about me? You be careful, girl.

Stitch: You think about calling first? You did move out.

Billy: Not by choice.

Victoria: I'm glad you stopped by.

Billy: Are you? It seems like you guys could use a little privacy.

Victoria: That's not the case, not that I owe you an explanation.

Billy: Yeah, maybe not, but the good doctor owes you an explanation.

Victoria: Oh, really? About what?

Billy: About his past. It seems like nobody knows anything about that, which is exactly the way he likes it. And fair warning, stitch -- any secrets you're hiding, I will find them.

Stitch: Knock yourself out. Let me know if I can help.

Victoria: Billy... there's something I have to tell you.

Billy: I know. Chelsea told me, which is why I'm here.

Victor: Do I need to remind you that Billy Abbott shares as much blame for Delia's death as Adam?

Chelsea: How can you say that?

Victor: How can I say that? He left Delia in a car by herself as he went shopping -- at night!

Chelsea: Any parent could have made that --

Victor: What do you mean, any parent? Any parent who leaves their child alone in a car to go shopping is irresponsible, and Billy Abbott knows that he's partly responsible for her death. That's why he has been in a downward spiral ever since.

Chelsea: That's cold, Victor.

Victor: No, it's not cold! It's true! Think about it! How could he leave a child alone in a car at night?! Fortunately, Victoria has moved past him. What? Do you know something I don't?

Chelsea: [Clears throat]

Victoria: What did Chelsea tell you?

Billy: Uh, that it was something that I needed to hear from you -- just you, not him.

Stitch: I was about to leave, but maybe I should stay.

Billy: Are you really asking my wife if it's okay to leave her alone with me? I mean, who the hell do you think you are?

Victoria: Ben, go ahead. It's fine.

Billy: Yeah. You got her permission, so now you can leave.

Stitch: I'll leave as soon as you dial it down. This is not the way to win Victoria back.

Billy: What? Oh, so now you're giving me helpful advice, when, actually, the last thing you want is for her to dump you and take me back?

Stitch: Since I'm the one who encouraged her to talk to you --

Billy: Encouraged her?! You know what? You don't need to tell me anything, okay? I know where this is going.

Victoria: Billy --

Billy: No, no. I mean, you and stitch want to be together, right? I mean, that's what you've been trying to tell me, isn't it? I mean, is he moving in to my house?

Cane: Did you just admit that you set me up so I'd pull the damn strings and buy Bonaventure?!

Colin: I kept tabs on you while I was away. Well, that's because somebody had me deported.

Jill: With cause.

Colin: That's how I knew you were made C.E.O. Of chancellor.

Jill: Yeah, over me.

Colin: Well, you're always gonna fall on your feet. It was important to me that I rebuild my relationship with my son.

Cane: By making me acquire this company?

Colin: It was a good acquisition. They were doing good research in cancer. Would have made you a billionaire. I would have stepped in at some later stage and said, "hey, that was due to me," and maybe, just maybe... [Sighs] I might have been welcomed back.

Cane: Did you know that this acquisition was selling unapproved drugs?

Colin: I don't know anything about that.

Cane: I said, "don't lie to me!"

Colin: Hey, I am telling the truth! My sole purpose in doing this was to bring us closer together. If I'd have known then what I know now, I never would have taken you down this path! You've got to believe that. [Sighs]

Nick: So, you think I was a part of whatever you experienced here last year?

Sharon: For once, your memory is more vague than mine. You really don't remember standing here last year at Cassie's grave?

Nick: I do know we were here. I mean, I was kind of a basket case.

Sharon: Why?

Nick: 'Cause of another daughter.

Sharon: Faith?

Nick: No.

Sharon: I don't remember any of this.

Nick: It's still kind of hard to talk about.

Sharon: You talked about it then... with her.

Nick: No, I didn't. I-I didn't have the visions that you did.

Sharon: But you came here to talk to Cassie so that you could say things here that you felt you couldn't say anywhere else.

Nick: How'd you know that?

Sharon: I remember. I-I left you alone for a few moments to go to the car and get a drawing that faith had made.

Nick: Yeah. She asked me to put the drawing with the flowers on Cassie's grave.

Sharon: And then...

Nick: Then what?

Nick: I'm gonna see this through. I'm gonna get that paternity test to the lab -- finally get the truth -- 'cause I need to know once and for all whether or not I'm Summer's father.

Sharon: I remember, Nick. I remember it like it was yesterday. You were wondering whether you were Summer's father.

Nick: What?

Nick: Sharon?

Sharon: Nothing's...wrong. You were in so much pain that day. You were confused about what to do about Summer.

Nick: Well, it makes sense that I was here... confessing some stuff, but I -- you overheard me? Why didn't you say anything at the time?

Sharon: Maybe I was respecting your privacy or maybe it's just another memory I will never get back.

Nick: Don't worry about it.

Sharon: I wish I had said something that day -- something to make you feel better.

Nick: [Chuckles] Sharon, no one could have managed that -- not even you. Besides, it didn't matter. I mean, the truth came out a few weeks later that Jack was Summer's father.

Sharon: Weeks later? I didn't know that Jack was Summer's father until then?

Nick: It all depended on the paternity-test results, and they didn't come out till later. Sharon? Is there something else you remember?

Sharon: No. It's... more like something I forgot.

Victor: All right. Thank you.

Cane: Hey.

Victor: Come in, cane.

Cane: Bad news?

Victor: Isn't it always when your damn lawyers call? The authorities in Washington, D.C... are of the opinion... that since one of my companies produced and sold an unapproved drug, I'll have to pay millions in fines.

Cane: Well, your lawyers can appeal, and the insurance company will take care of the fines.

Victor: Yeah, but that isn't all of it. If they determine that I had prior knowledge of the whole process, then I'll do time in the penitentiary. How's that? So, whatever you came here to discuss, I guess it's too little and too late.

Colin: I have got to find a way to convince cane.

Jill: Why should he believe you, Colin? You've cried wolf so many times.

Colin: I know, but if I find him, I can convince him.

Jill: For that matter, why should I believe you?

Colin: [Sighs] Because... it wasn't just about him. It was -- it was about you, too.

Jill: Then give me the other two pieces of the note.

Colin: Here. It seems to be from Katherine.

Jill: "It took you long enough, Jill, but I always knew you'd find it eventually. Wear it well on your journey to finding out what's really important." [Crying] I loved her so much.

Colin: Well, I guess this means the jewelry's ours.

Jill: Excuse me? I think you're having a pronoun problem.

Colin: What I meant was the journey -- the journey itself -- is ours.

Jill: Yeah, the journey is ours. The necklace itself is mine.

Colin: Yeah, but you're gonna need my expertise when it comes to selling it.

Jill: Baby, we haven't even had it appraised yet. What? What are you grinning at?

Colin: First time you've used the word "we" in this little venture. [Chuckles] Does that mean that I'm now back into your good graces, perhaps even... bed?

Jill: [Chuckling] Oh, slow down, stud. You haven't taken that shower yet, all right? I'm gonna take care of this necklace.

Colin: It's too late to have it appraised, and the banks are probably about to close, so you can't get into a safe deposit box. However, when I was up north, I saw a strongbox. We could put it in that, and then you and I could retire to a nice shower, huh?

Jill: Yeah. No. I don't think so.

Colin: Oh.

Victoria: Ben's not moving in with me.

Billy: Then what is it?

Stitch: Just let her talk.

Billy: Look, I don't need your advice. My wife may buy your bedside manner, but you are nothing but an opportunist who couldn't hold on to his own wife and kid.

Victoria: Stop, Billy!

Billy: And he's so desperate, he has to replace them with mine.

Stitch: Leave my family out of this.

Billy: You don't have a family, stitch. I do. And I am not about to walk out of here with a box and let you have them.

Victoria: Billy, listen!

Billy: No. I'm not gonna listen to anything this guy says, and if anybody's leaving, it's Ben.

Victoria: Great! Great! That was a wedding gift!

Billy: I'll clean it up, okay?

Victoria: No! Just leave it alone!

Billy: I didn't mean to.

Victoria: No, Billy. You never mean to. You never mean to, but it's always the same.

Billy: All right, look -- I'm sorry, okay? I just -- [Voice breaking] Look, if we'd just been alone, I would --

Victoria: Just please don't. Just go, okay? I can't do this right now. Just go.

Billy: We'll start over, all right? Pretend that I just walked in, and I will listen to anything you have to say.

Victoria: No, Billy! Go! Go right now! And the next time you come by here, call first.

[Door slams]

Jill: There is the slightest chance that if I give you this necklace, I will never see it again, 'cause I was born at night but not last night. This will not leave my neck.

Colin: Allow me.

Jill: Hands off, Colin! And whatever happened to that idea of a shower?

Colin: In due time, but I don't want to miss this.

Jill: [Gasps]

Colin: Beautiful.

Jill: Oh, my God. It is, isn't it?

Colin: I'm not talking about the diamonds.

Jill: Okay. That's as close as you're gonna get to the necklace and my shoulders.

Colin: For now.

Jill: Hmm.

Colin: [Chuckles]

Jill: What is so funny?

Colin: When I think of all the trouble we went to to solve the mystery of the music box, and, in the end, it meant nothing.

Jill: [Chuckles]

Cane: So, what if the person who led me to Bonaventure did it for a good reason? What if they were trying to do something productive -- maybe save lives?

Victor: Do you have someone in mind, or are you speculating?

Cane: No. I'm just -- I'm just wondering.

Victor: Well, let me tell you this. Whoever masterminded this, trying to undo me personally and my business -- if I find out who that is... they'll lose everything. Whatever is left of them, I'll feed to the jackals. Is there anything else, or can I get back to working on my defense?

Cane: No, that's all.

Victor: By the way, cane... why'd you come here in the first place?

Cane: I just, uh, wanted to see how your meeting with the feds went. Now I know. Take care.

Nick: I didn't mean to stir up any painful memories by bringing you here.

Sharon: My memories don't need stirring. They just erupt in unexpected flashes without all the pieces.

Nick: And not necessarily in the right order, either.

Sharon: I really thought that I knew that Jack was Summer's father before the test results came out. Are you sure you didn't tell me?

Nick: Definitely. But don't worry about that, all right? Eventually, all the pieces are gonna fall into place and in the right order, and then everything will make sense.

Sharon: The only thing that really matters today... is the memories of our daughter. And Victor did bring the perfect flower.

Nick: Forget-me-nots.

Sharon: And Victor's right. We never will.

Victoria: [Sighs] Billy didn't mean to break that, you know. He was just upset. Maybe I was looking for an excuse to put off telling him, anyway.

Stitch: Were you?

Victoria: Did you see how angry he was when he saw us together? I really didn't want to see how he'd react when I tell him that I'm pregnant and you might be the father.

Stitch: When you do decide to tell him, I want to be there.

Victoria: Ben...

Stitch: You saw how out of control he was. I don't want to take a chance of you --

Victoria: I don't want you getting into it with him. You know, I was right in the first place I should just wait for the paternity test. It's cleaner that way, and nothing's left up in the air.

Stitch: What if somebody tells him first?

Victoria: Chelsea's had plenty of opportunity to tell him, and she hasn't. I just have to figure out a way to keep her quiet a little bit longer.

Chelsea: I take it you spoke to Victoria.

Billy: Yeah, we spoke. She had plenty to say.

Chelsea: I'm sorry. It's gonna be okay.

Billy: [Chuckles] You know, Chelsea, I know you're just trying to be a friend, but how could this ever be okay?

Chelsea: Because, you know, depending on how things go, if she has your baby...

Billy: What baby?
