Episode # 10418 ~ Chelsea pushes Victoria to come clean; Jack & Kelly get intimate; Lily schemes to break up Neil & Hilary.
Provided By Suzanne
Jack: How about right here?
Kelly: Oh, great.
Jack: So, what have you heard about this movie?
Kelly: Well, I read a review on GC buzz. They said it was pretty good -- a kind of a, um, action-romance hybrid.
Jack: Is action/romance an actual genre?
Kelly: [Laughs] It must be. We're about to see it.
Jack: Action/romance.
Kelly: Yeah.
Jack: Sounds like the perfect date movie.
Kelly: Oh, good. I'm so glad you think so. I did, too. Um, you know, kind of something for everyone.
I'm gonna change the way you look at love forever, baby.
[Gunfire]
Hilary: [Chuckling] It's an onomatopoeia because it's a funny name for a funny-looking animal.
Neil: Onomatopoeia.
Hilary: You know, I have a sudden taste for Vietnamese food.
Neil: Oh, do you now? I thought you hated Vietnamese food.
Hilary: I'm willing to give it a second shot. [Chuckles]
Neil: Okay. You listen to me. We are not gonna let my kids' lousy attitude chase us out of here. We came here for dinner. That's exactly what we're gonna do.
Hilary: There is no law that says that we can't change our mind.
Neil: Okay, Hilary, I'm not deliberately trying to make them feel uncomfortable. Sooner or later, they're gonna have to accept the fact that we're a couple.
Hilary: Yeah. I don't think your daughter got the memo.
Neil: You know, it's strange. I expected this reaction from lily, but not from Devon. I don't know why he's so bent out of shape. I thought you two were getting along better these days.
Devon: [Sighs]
Lily: God, I can't believe dad. He's basically flaunting this relationship in our faces.
Devon: Lily, the more you stew over it, the worse it is. Just ignore them. That's what I'm doing.
Lily: All right. Well, while you do that, I'll actually be productive and think of a way to get Hilary out of our lives.
Devon: Well, good luck with that.
Lily: No, I don't need luck. I just ne--
Devon: [Sighs]
Lily: That's it.
Devon: What is?
Lily: What do people with no morals and no scruples -- what's more tempting than cash? I bet you $1 million would do the trick. Are you in?
Chelsea: Is it really, uh, "taking a break" if you're still working?
Stitch: [Chuckles] Pleasure reading.
Chelsea: "The diagnostic accuracy of Bohler's angle in fractures of the..."
Stitch: "Calcaneus."
Chelsea: Do I even want to know what that means?
Stitch: It's your heel bone.
Chelsea: Ooph. Broken heel. Sounds painful.
Stitch: Oh, it's pure misery. Don't jump off any roofs, and you should be fine.
Chelsea: Good advice, doctor. So, have you seen Victoria lately?
Stitch: Yesterday.
Chelsea: How are things going?
Stitch: We're taking it slow.
Chelsea: But...good, otherwise?
Stitch: You seem awfully interested in Victoria and me.
Chelsea: Oh, no. I'm just making conversation.
Stitch: And I know why -- 'cause of the child involved.
Victoria: Your silver tie.
Billy: [Chuckles] I'm, uh, headed to New York for a meeting in the morning with Kyle, and it's always been my lucky tie.
Victoria: "Lucky" tie?
Billy: Yeah, well, we're, uh, pitching a new department store chain, and I'm gonna be giving the honchos the big song and dance about all the new products Jabot has down the line. You know, I can't expect to dazzle them with a pindot or a boring stripe. It's got to be the silver streak.
[Both chuckle]
Victoria: Since when have you named your ties?
Billy: There's a lot you don't know about me, Vick. You know, I'm a man of great complexities and many facets. Uh, you should spend some time with me, get to know me. Uh, you know, I'm -- I'm, uh -- I'm gonna be in the big apple. Can I bring you back anything? I mean, you have any cravings lately? Yeah, I'm gonna be right around the corner from that, uh, little café you like on 55th street. If you like, I can bring you back some bagels -- you know, the real deal from New York. Hey, Vicki.
Victoria: Yeah.
Billy: Are you listening to me?
This is how we deal with unwelcome visitors! Kneel before the toucan and prepare to die!
Jack: [Stifled chuckle]
[Toucan cries, gunfire]
Kelly: [Laughs]
Jack: Bye, bye, birdie?
Kelly: Yes.
Jack: Bye-bye.
[Gunfire]
Devon: Thanks. Lily, a big bag of cash isn't gonna do anything except make the situation worse.
Lily: I don't agree with you. Why else would someone Hilary's age be with someone dad's age unless she were after a piece of his lifestyle?
Devon: I don't know. I don't know what's going through Hilary's head, but I'd really like to change the subject.
Lily: No. There is no other subject, Devon. This is it.
Devon: What does that mean?
Lily: It means that I remember the times when dad was drinking all day and all night and when I needed a father but he was too drunk to even know I was there.
Devon: Why are you bringing this up right now?
Lily: Because Hilary put vodka in his orange juice without him knowing. All those years of hard work and resisting temptation and staying sober, and she does that to him. I mean, he went out of his way to try and make peace with her, and that was her response. So, yeah, I-I get giving people second chances. I understand that. But what Hilary has done is not a mistake. It was malicious. And so I don't believe for a second that she has changed. So, please, just tell me that you are willing to pay her to leave town before she can hurt dad even worse.
Devon: I hear what you're saying.
Lily: So, then you'll -- you'll do it?
Devon: No. I'm not gonna do it, because I already tried that once, and it didn't work. You don't remember? I offered her $1 million to leave town and never come back, and all that did was make her dig her heels in deeper.
Lily: I don't care. I don't care. Maybe $2 million will work, or $5 million -- whatever it takes.
[Cell phone ringing]
Devon: Shoot. It's Esmerelda.
Lily: Just let it go to voicemail.
Devon: I can't do that. I've done that six times already. I have to take it.
Lily: Fine.
Devon: I'm sorry.
Lily: [Sighs]
Devon: Hey, Esmerelda. I know. I'm sorry that I haven't -- yeah, I've just been really, really, really busy. But, um, how's the shoot going? How's Belize? Oh. Yeah, you think that it would be a perfect place for a wedding? How did I know you'd say that?
Neil: You know what I think? We should just go seat ourselves.
Hilary: Or you know what? We could just order room service.
Neil: Room service, huh? Okay. We said we weren't gonna do that. We said we weren't gonna hide anymore in your hotel suite. Remember that?
Hilary: Well, at least there, lily won't be able to dump a tray full of food on my head. Okay, I'm sorry.
Neil: No. No, it's okay.
I'm sorry. You got a point, Hilary. Hostility's bad for the digestion. It's just the only thing is I don't understand why Devon is so against this.
Hilary: Yeah, I don't, either, but...he clearly is.
Neil: All right. Change of plans. I'm gonna get us some takeout. I'll meet you upstairs.
Hilary: Mmm. That sounds perfect.
Neil: Mm. Any idea what you'd like?
Hilary: Uh, surprise me.
Neil: Okay. I'll do that. And, Hilary, just so you know, I don't want to make a habit out of this. I'm gonna convince those kids that what we have is real, and eventually, they're gonna accept it. I promise.
Devon: Hey. Esmerelda? Can I speak for a second? Listen, I didn't want to do this over the phone. I wanted to wait till you got back, but you just keep bringing up getting engaged. N-no. No, no, no. This isn't me proposing to you. It's actually the opposite. What I'm saying is...that this relationship isn't really working out for me.
Chelsea: What child are you referring to?
Stitch: Johnny -- the son you had with Billy that Victoria adopted. I mean, it's why you're so interested in my relationship with her, right? His whole world's about to change. Well, it already has now that his folks are separated.
Chelsea: Of course I'm concerned about Johnny's future. I'm concerned about Victoria's future. I know, first hand, the challenges of becoming a single parent. But it's not as if Billy and Victoria are divorced yet, so...
Billy: True. I guess my situation only colors things.
Chelsea: How do you mean?
Stitch: With Jenna taking our little boy and moving to the other side of the planet. To raise a child is such a gift. To be robbed of that -- well... what I wouldn't give for another chance.
Chelsea: And do you think you'll have that chance again?
Victoria: Okay. Is this the one?
Billy: Yeah, that's it. Thanks.
Victoria: [Sighs] Great. Have a safe trip.
Billy: Vicki, are you sure you're okay?
Victoria: Yeah. I'm fine. Why?
Billy: Well, it's just the last time that we saw each other, you seemed preoccupied with something, too, and...
Victoria: Me? No. That was you. [Chuckles] You got that mysterious phone call from...Chelsea, and you flew out of here. Never said what that was about.
Billy: Look, Chloe's been going through a rough time, and we were just trying to help.
Victoria: Okay. Well, sorry to hear that. I hope everything works out. So, um, I have some things to do this evening.
Billy: Okay.
Victoria: I hope that...this tie brings you luck on your trip.
Billy: It will. I wore it the day I married you. I'll see you.
Victoria: [Exhales sharply]
Devon: I-I'm trying to be honest with you. That's what I'm doing. Okay? I know that you don't just want something casual, and I don't think it's fair to lead you on. Esmerelda? Hello?
Lily: Dad.
Neil: Lily. Good to see you. Can we please have a calm and rational conversation about Hilary and me?
Lily: Sure. As soon as you can be rational and get rid of Hilary.
Neil: All right, that's not gonna happen, and I need --
Lily: Don't you understand that I don't want to see you get hurt again?
Jack: Hey. Everything all right?
Lily: No, Jack. In case you haven't heard, my dad is dating a female wrecking ball whose hobby it is to destroy families. And if you don't know who I'm talking about, it's your assistant.
Neil: Watch your mouth. No need to be rude. I am your father. Jack, you mind if I have a word with you?
Jack: Absolutely. Excuse us.
Kelly: Hey. Well, look, not everything is bad news. Uh, I don't know if you've noticed, but Jack and I are on a date.
Lily: Really?
Kelly: Yeah. I mean, we -- we decided to talk about Phyllis and Summer and everything, and...decided just to go for it.
Lily: That's great.
Kelly: Thank you. Thanks for being happy for us.
Lily: Yeah. I'm happy for you. [Chuckles]
Kelly: Thanks.
Lily: Actually, you know what? You might be the key to getting my dad away from Hilary.
Neil: Sorry I didn't fill you in earlier about Hilary and me.
Jack: No, don't worry about that.
Neil: You don't have a problem with this, do you?
Jack: It is not my place to have a problem with whomever you choose to...socialize with.
Neil: Mm.
Jack: She doesn't answer to you at work, so that's not an issue, right?
Neil: Okay. That's good. But I can tell -- that look on your face -- you seem less than thrilled.
Jack: I don't mean to. No. She's a beautiful, intelligent, complicated woman.
Neil: Yeah, well. Yeah, I'm well aware of how complicated it is.
Jack: I hope so. So, did this just come out of the blue?
Neil: [Sighs] Jack, it -- this is not a rebound, if that's what you're hinting at. I mean, I understand --
Jack: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. I learned a long time ago -- once you start judging your friends, that's when you start losing your friends. I have no intention of losing you as a friend. I'll just say...I wish you luck. I hope it goes well. You deserve to be happy.
Stitch: I'd love the chance to be a father again, but...who knows what life will bring.
[Door opens]
Stitch: Got to just wait and see what happens.
[Door closes]
Billy: Have either of you seen Victoria lately?
Chelsea: Uh, no. Not for about a week.
Stitch: Yesterday. Why?
Billy: Yesterday. How did she seem to you?
Stitch: Fine.
Billy: Really? So, there's nothing going on with her?
Stitch: You're gonna have to ask her that, Billy.
[Cell phone rings]
Stitch: Excuse me. I need to take this. Hey. What's up?
Chelsea: Why all the questions about Victoria?
Billy: Remember when I told you that something was off with her?
Chelsea: Yeah.
Billy: Well, I saw her again tonight, and she was acting just as cagey. There's no doubt in my mind now. Something's going on.
Stitch: How severe are the cramps?
Victoria: They're very minor. You know, more like twinges. I'm sorry. I'm probably making a big deal out of nothing right now.
Stitch: It's good you called. You did the right thing.
Victoria: I'm just -- I'm really scared, Ben. It's after hours for my O.B., And...I just didn't know who else to call.
Stitch: Victoria, it's fine. Okay, just -- I'll be right there. Just hold tight.
Chelsea: Is Victoria all right?
Lily: Well, now that you and Jack are seeing each other, maybe you can use your influence on him.
Kelly: Wait. What?!
Lily: Yeah. I mean, you can get him to force my dad to come to his senses.
Kelly: Lily, I don't think --
Lily: Kelly, look, I already told you all about Hilary and the horrible things that she has done. So please, just help me protect my father from her.
Kelly: How?
Lily: He'll listen to Jack. They've been friends forever. I mean, maybe he can get him -- get through to him where I can't. I mean, please, Kelly. I'm desperate. Please.
Kelly: I see that, okay? And I sympathize, but... I don't think that it's my place.
Lily: I mean, you and I are friends, right?
Kelly: Of course we are, okay? But I also work for you, which I hope would not enter into this.
Lily: No. Of course not. I mean, I'm not that desperate.
Kelly: Okay, good.
Lily: But to say that it's not your place when I thought that you and I were getting close -- I just --
Kelly: Oh, we are. We're -- you're my friend, okay? But I just -- Jack and I -- we're new. I mean, we just started to date.
Lily: Okay, yeah, I get it. You don't want to mess things up with him. I-I understand.
Kelly: Thank you. Thank you for understanding.
Jack: From the look on lily's face, I take it you just told her about the movie we saw -- uh, correction -- the nightmare we just walked out of.
Kelly: [Chuckles]
Lily: Well, I'm dealing with my own nightmare named Hilary. Jack, I understand that you gave her a job, but I'm sure that you can see that even she and my dad are just -- look, it's a disaster waiting to happen. We have to help get him out of this before he winds up devastated.
Lily: That is not the way I wanted to tell my boss that we were involved.
Neil: I hear you. It was less than ideal. Once lily said what she said, I had to explain.
Hilary: [Sighs] Well, how did Jack take the news?
Neil: Well... it was strange, actually.
Hilary: What do you mean?
Neil: You know, he didn't ha any objections when it comes to legal or work grounds.
Hilary: Yeah, well, why would he? Yes, we both work at Jabot. You're higher up in the company than I am, but you're not my supervisor. You'd never be able to use your position to further my career or tank it.
Neil: Exactly. But any interactions you have with the fashion division is on Jack's behalf. [Sighs]
Hilary: So, um...what was so strange about his reaction?
Neil: I don't know. I can't quite put my finger on it. It's just a -- it's a feeling a had. You know, Jack and I -- we've been friends a lot of years, and he was just kind of -- I don't know. He was formal, you know? Reserved.
Hilary: I think I know why.
Neil: Yeah? You do?
Hilary: It's because I kissed him.
Chelsea: Is Victoria all right or not?
Billy: Yeah, I'd like to know the answer to that, too.
Stitch: You know, I'm not sure what you think you overheard.
Chelsea: I know what I overheard.
Stitch: Then you misinterpreted it. Okay, Victoria called and asked me to come by. She's not feeling well. I'm a doctor. That's all. Look, I didn't want to seem like a jerk and rub it in your face, so I came out here to take the call. I told her to hold tight, I'd be right there. That's what Chelsea heard. Right?
Chelsea: Right.
Stitch: Now, if you'll excuse me, I think I've answered enough questions about Victoria for one day.
Chelsea: Right. Oopsies. [Chuckles] Sorry I overreacted. I-I just thought -- I thought something was wrong.
Billy: You seemed pretty intense over my wife, Chelsea, given the fact that she's not one of your best friends. What is it, hmm? Do you know something that you're not telling me?
Chelsea: I was trying to help you, Billy.
Billy: Help me with what?
Chelsea: Well, it's not like stitch is gonna tell you anything about Victoria. I thought I could find out something. But...I hit a dead end.
Billy: Well, thank you for trying. But I doubt that stitch is the type of guy that opens up to anybody.
Chelsea: Why? Because he's the strong and silent type?
Billy: 'Cause he has no history.
Chelsea: What does that mean?
Billy: It means that most people leave a fairly good-sized footprint online. But not this guy. No. Ever since, you know, his stint in the army, it's like he didn't exist. So, I think he has hidden something in his past that he's worked very hard to cover up.
Chelsea: That's it? That's your evidence? You can't find anything about the guy on the internet, so suddenly, he's a menace?
Billy: It's a suspicion, Chelsea.
Chelsea: What about me? If you look me up, you probably can't find anything. It doesn't mean I'm dangerous.
Billy: [Chuckles] That is a terrible comParison.
Chelsea: Why?
Billy: Well, because, no offense, but if I find out that dr. Disappearing act has a personal history like you, I will make sure that he never steps anywhere near Victoria or Johnny.
Chelsea: Point taken. But I still think you're wrong. I've known a lot of shady guys in my past, and stitch doesn't seem like one of them. I don't think he's hiding anything. Maybe he's just...private.
Billy: Maybe. But as long as Victoria is involved with him, I'm going to keep digging.
Victoria: I feel like my heart is racing.
Stitch: Your pulse is slightly elevated, which, by the way, is normal in a pregnant woman, as well as someone who's just had a scare.
Victoria: Well, I am trying really hard not to panic right now.
Stitch: How many cramps were there?
Victoria: Two. Like I said on the phone, they were mild and far apart. But, still, you know...?
Stitch: I know. All right. Deep breath in.
Victoria: [Inhales deeply]
Stitch: And out.
Victoria: [Exhales]
Stitch: Feel better?
Victoria: Yeah. You know, I've been a nervous wreck since the first one hit.
Stitch: That's why it's important to breathe in and stay as calm as possible.
Victoria: I will feel a lot calmer once I know that this is not me -- that I'm not having, you know...
Stitch: Okay, okay. All right. Breathe, breathe. Listen to me. I honestly don't believe it's anything serious, but we should probably get you checked out. Is there someone who can stay with Johnny?
Victoria: Yeah. I called Hannah just in case.
Stitch: Good. As soon as she gets here, I'll get you to memorial and make sure you get seen right away.
Victoria: I can't lose this baby, okay? Promise me that I won't.
Stitch: This is what I'll promise you -- I am not gonna leave your side. I'm gonna be right here for as long as you need me.
Victoria: [Sighs]
Jack: At the risk of stating the obvious, Neil is a big boy. If this is the mistake you seem to think it is --
Lily: No, no. A mistake is when you forget to put a stamp on a letter. Hilary tried to undermine my dad's sobriety. If you don't believe me, ask him about it.
Jack: I am aware of the incident to which you refer, and I understand you being upset and feeling a duty to protect him. Lily, people learn from their own experience, not from the advice of others, no matter how well-meaning.
Kelly: But if you ever want to talk, lily, I am here, okay? Just not tonight.
Devon: What's so special about tonight, guys?
Jack: Tonight, I promised Kelly I would take her to a romantic dinner. I think we both may have lost our appetites.
Lily: Oh, I'm sorry.
Jack: In the program, there is a saying. "It is always easier to take inventory of someone else's life." Good night.
Devon: Have a good one. Well, you know how to clear a room.
Lily: Shut up. I'm thinking.
Devon: Think over here. [Sighs] Have a seat. And drink up, sister.
Lily: Why? What's wrong with you?
Devon: Nothing's wrong. I am a free man again.
Lily: You broke up with Esmerelda over the phone?
Devon: Yeah, I did. It wasn't my intention when she called, but it just kind of happened, so... cheers.
Lily: Cheers. Ugh. Well, are you okay?
Devon: Yeah, I'm fine.
Lily: You did say that it wasn't really heading anywhere.
Devon: No. I mean, we had nothing in common. And we didn't want any of the same things, aside from the sex.
Lily: Yes, yes. Her enthusiams. I-I get it.
Devon: I'm sure, in Esmerelda's mind, she had us walking down the aisle next month with 20 bridesmaids and a month-long honeymoon planned on a private yacht on the Riviera.
Lily: You don't own a yacht.
Devon: It's a small oversight she would have been more than happy to correct.
Lily: So, how upset was she?
Devon: She hung up on me.
Lily: Well, you did dump her over the phone.
Devon: I know I did that. I didn't -- I wanted to wait till she got back and do it the classy way -- do it over dinner or something -- but it's like from the second I answered the phone, she kept pushing and pushing and pushing. Just, "Belize is so fabulous. It's the perfect place to have a wedding."
Lily: Well, like I said, the right girl is out there for you somewhere.
Devon: I'm glad somebody understands. Thank you.
Lily: Well, you know what I don't understand is how dad could even think about dating Hilary. That's what I don't understand.
Hilary: Listen, that kiss with Jack -- it was -- I don't know what I was thinking. It was a total impulse moment. Okay? Completely one-sided.
Neil: So... you kissed Jack Abbott.
Hilary: He told me right away that he wasn't interested, and that was that. Back to business. I'm so lucky that he was cool about it. It's not a mistake that I would ever make again. Listen. What happened with Jack -- it's not like what happened with you. Okay? Or how we feel about each other. You're awfully quiet.
Neil: I'm absorbing.
Hilary: Kind of a shock.
Neil: Well, Hilary, I mean, seriously, this is not something that I would ever hold against you. And, honestly, I'm just glad that you were so forthright.
Hilary: Always. Oh, my gosh. It means so much that you trust me. Sometimes, I don't feel like I've earned it.
Neil: Hey, do me a favor. Stop listening so much to lily, okay? It's disturbing to me that she makes you doubt yourself so much.
Hilary: Yeah, well, it's a little tough to avoid when I'm living in the building where both your kids work.
Neil: Yeah, I get it. Avoiding them here, in this building, like tonight.
Hilary: Yeah, I-I need to art looking for my own apartment. [Chuckles] It is not healthy for us to be in each other's faces all of the time. But if I could move out tonight, gosh, I would.
Neil: I know a place that you can move in right away.
Lily: Hilary. You're moving out! Thank god.
Hilary: Yep, it's your lucky night. And mine.
Devon: Wait. You're really leaving?
Hilary: I think it's best for everyone involved.
Lily: I agree with you. I'll be happy to ship the rest of your things to wherever you're going so you can never show your face here again. So, where to? Wait. You're moving in together?!
Devon: No! No, you're not.
Kelly: Wait a minute. I got one. "Love means never having to say you're sorry."
Jack: [Groans]
Kelly: [Laughs]
Jack: Let's see. Uh... [Australian accent] "The dingo ate my baby."
Kelly: Oh, now, see, that is a classic. That is so bad it's actually good. Oh, but how -- oh, I just thought of one. Oh..
Jack: [Normal voice] Let's hear it. What do you got?
Kelly: [As Kate Winslet] "I'll never let go, Jack. I'll never let go."
Jack: "I'm the king of the world!"
Kelly: [Groans] [Normal voice] Kill me now.
[Both laugh]
Kelly: Oh, man. I had fun tonight.
Jack: In spite of the movie.
Kelly: In spite of the movie, in spite of lily hijacking our lovely dinner with her Hilary drama. You know, it was kind of an all-around disaster of a date, but I had fun.
Jack: Now, w-wait. It wasn't the date that I had planned, but I wouldn't call it a disaster.
Kelly: Really? What was your magical moment?
Jack: Maybe this. Just seeing you standing there, looking so absolutely beautiful.
Kelly: Um...
Jack: Am I moving too fast?
Kelly: No. I just...remembered you're not the only person living here.
Jack: Actually, Billy is away on a business trip. It's just you and me here.
Kelly: Well, in that case... come here. [Chuckles] Okey-dokey. [Laughs]
Chelsea: I'm gonna miss Chloe so much. But I-I'm really glad she's getting the help she needs.
Billy: Yeah, it's gonna be rough for her, though. You know, some mornings, I wake up and...Delia's the first thing that pops into my head. The pain is still there. I can only imagine it's worse for Chloe.
Chelsea: I'm sure.
Billy: You know, it wasn't even that long ago when Victoria and I were trying our damnedest to give Delia and Johnny a little brother or sister, you know, with all the -- the treatments and the drugs and the doctors and --
Chelsea: Sounds like a project.
Billy: Yeah, it was. Believe me. And now the dream is gone. Delia's gone and...I'm moved out and Victoria's hiding something from me.
Chelsea: I'm sorry that the situation has been so painful for you, Billy.
Billy: You know, I think I have an idea of what's really going on with her. She just hasn't figured out a way to break it to me, yet. She wants to end things permanently, start new with stitch.
Chelsea: [Sighs]
Billy: You think I'm right, don't you? My wife wants a divorce. I mean, what else could it be?
Victoria: [Sighs] Okay. Well, I finally stopped shaking.
Stitch: Good.
Victoria: When the O.B. On call said that everything was okay, I felt so much better.
Stitch: And now I'm gonna prescribe a good night's sleep for you and the baby.
Victoria: Yeah. I wish it was that easy.
Stitch: Try not to worry.
Victoria: Look, I can't help it. You know, Billy and I tried for years to have a baby. And then, when I did get pregnant, I had a miscarriage. I'm not gonna let that happen again, Ben.
Stitch: The best thing you can do right now is rest.
Victoria: This pregnancy just... [Sighs] It feels so precarious, you know? It -- it feels like every time I get queasy or feel a twinge, I'm just gonna be freaking out. It's really not that easy to close my eyes and relax.
Stitch: What if you had your very own doctor on call? I could bunk down on the couch here if that would help you drift off.
Victoria: I don't know. I mean, that's a lot to ask.
Stitch: You didn't ask. I offered, so take me up on it.
Victoria: [Chuckling] Thank you. I will.
Stitch: Look, I gave you my word that I wasn't gonna leave, so break out the pillows.
Victoria: Hey. Ben. Thank you so much for dropping everything and coming over here for what turned out to be nothing.
Stitch: Okay, first of all, this wasn't nothing. Any feelings you have about the pregnancy, good or bad, I want to be involved. I missed out on that when Jenna was expecting. I was overseas. So, I'm just grateful to have the opportunity to share this with you... even if the baby's not mine.
Victoria: I don't know what I did to deserve having you in my life.
Stitch: Don't you know I feel the same way about you?
Devon: This is a joke, right?
Hilary: 'Fraid not. I'm moving out.
Lily: Dad, you cannot do this.
Neil: I can do whatever I want to do. You don't get a vote. You've been mean and downright hostile to Hilary. You've made her feel so unwelcome that you've chased her away from her own home. So that is why she is moving in with me, and if you have a problem with that... it's your fault. Have a good night. Come on.
Lily: This is war.
Devon: What the hell does that mean?
Lily: You broke up with Esmerelda, so you're -- you're single now. We can use that to our advantage.
Devon: What do you mean "we"?
Lily: You think Hilary's hot, right?
Devon: What does that have to do with anything?
Lily: It means that you can seduce her and then dump her ass.
Chelsea: Billy, you can't give up. There is always a chance.
Billy: Yeah, until there isn't anymore. I'm pretty sure I've blown all mine by now.
Chelsea: Well, I'm gonna get us a refill.
Billy: Oh, wow. I can't, actually. I totally forgot -- my plane leaves in an hour.
Chelsea: Your plane?
Billy: Yeah, I'm going to New York. I have a big presentation in the morning with Kyle. Uh, thank you for being a shoulder, but I really got to go.
Chelsea: Yeah. Have a great trip.
Billy: Yeah. Uh, thank you. I will see you soon, okay?
Chelsea: Okay. [Sighs]
Stitch: Okay. Whew. All right. Maybe we should cool off a little. How about some water?
Victoria: Yeah. Thank you.
Stitch: All right.
Victoria: [Sighs]
[Cell phone rings]
Victoria: Chelsea.
Chelsea: You told stitch you're pregnant, didn't you?
Victoria: Look, you know what? It's late, and, um, I'm in the middle of something right now.
Chelsea: Oh, I'm sure you are. He's there, right?
Victoria: How did you --
Chelsea: How could you do this, Victoria? How could you tell stitch you're pregnant but not Billy? How is it fair to leave your husband in the dark when you know very well he could be the father?
Victoria: You know, it's really not your place to make a judgment.
Chelsea: I don't care. I can't stand it anymore. If you don't do it yourself, I am going to tell Billy about this baby when he gets back from his trip.
Next on "The Young and the Restless"...
Avery: Why are you wearing this?
Summer: Is this a bad time?
Jack: I was just --
Kelly: Hey, Jack, do you have any grapes?
Ian: I have some information that's vitally important to you and your family.
