Avery: How's the French toast?

Dylan: What?

Avery: My crème-brûlée French toast.

Dylan: I'm sorry. I haven't tried it yet. Are you sure you don't know who these are from?

Avery: Whoever it was paid cash, and the kid at the florist said that he couldn't remember anything about the guy. He said just average height, average build.

Dylan: Average -- I don't know why people even say that.

Avery: They say that when they don't know anything. So, I called Marcus.

Dylan: Your producer?

Avery: Yes. And he can't make it today, so I thought maybe he sent them to say, "I'm sorry," but he doesn't know anything about them.

Dylan: It's just weird.

Avery: Well, whoever my secret admirer is, they want to stay secret.

Dylan: I think I know who he is.

Ian: Hello, chief.

Paul: Look who's here. This is becoming a habit -- a bad habit.

Ian: As much as I admire the commendable work you do here, I wish I could stop making these unannounced visits.

Paul: Well, what brings you by this time -- the doughnuts?

Ian: I was followed last night.

Paul: I see. So, do you have a description of this alleged stalker?

Ian: No, but I'm confident it was the same person who broke into my room.

Paul: Okay, Ward, if you're here to accuse the police of harassing you --

Ian: I don't think it was your department behind this or the trashing of my room. Someone else is trying to send me a message.

Paul: Uh-huh.

Ian: And I'm afraid I know who.

Paul: Are you gonna let me in on your suspicion, or do I have to speculate?

Ian: It kills me to say it, but...I think my son's terrorizing me.

Stitch: I'm glad I ran into you.

Kelly: Oh, good grief. Um, I'm sorry, Ben. I have an appointment.

Stitch: Okay, this won't take long.

Kelly: I think we said everything we had to say at the gym yesterday, don't you think?

Stitch: A few minutes -- that's all.

Kelly: You know, I really don't see the point of this.

Stitch: Look, I know you hate me for what I did, and you'll probably never forgive me.

Kelly: You destroyed my family.

Stitch: And you destroyed mine. So are we even? Or are you gonna lob a few more hand grenades into my life?

Kelly: What are you asking, Ben?

Stitch: Same thing I asked before that you refused to answer -- are you gonna tell people what you know about me and blow up my life again, or are you gonna keep your mouth shut?

Kelly: [Sighs]

Billy: Hey.

Jack: Hey. Do you have those international sales figures I asked you for before?

Billy: I thought I gave you those.

Jack: No.

Billy: Uh, okay, uh, I'm sorry. I'll get right on it.

Jack: Remember, I have that conference call with the Asian office later this afternoon.

Billy: Yes. you'll have them.

Jack: Okay, what's up?

Billy: What, besides my continuing saga of my crappy life?

Jack: Has something else happened since I saw you yesterday?

Billy: Yes. I ran into my old buddy, Stitch and your new friend, Kelly. They were arguing about something that Stitch has to live with for the rest of his life.

Jack: And you don't know what that is.

Billy: Well, they both clammed up when they saw me. I tried to persuade Stitch to tell me what he was hiding.

Jack: And he politely declined.

Billy: Kelly knows what it is, Jack. She knows Stitch's secret.

Jack: You're about to --

Billy: You have got to get her to tell you what it is before this guy gets any closer to Victoria.

Victoria: Thank you for fitting me in today, Dr. Chiverton. I really appreciate it. Yeah, yeah, I did take a home pregnancy test. It was positive.

Chloe: Yeah, this is just some of the best work you've done.

Chelsea: Thank you.

Chloe: Where is the one -- uh, this one. Yeah. How do you feel about raising the hemline?

Chelsea: Like a quarter inch?

Chloe: Uh, like a half?

Chelsea: Yeah. Yeah, that would work. I'll make the adjustments, and I'll send them to you.

Chloe: Okay. All right. Hey, have you heard from the Forresters about them launching the new line?

Chelsea: Not yet, but when I do, you will be the first to know. It's exciting.

Chloe: This feels good -- us working together again.

Chelsea: It's really nice to see you happy again.

Chloe: Well, it's not just because I have my best friend back.

Chelsea: Oh?

Chloe: I'm having a baby.

Kelly: You know, why shouldn't I tell people your secret?

Stitch: The same reason you shouldn't have told my wife -- ex-wife.

Kelly: I stand by my conviction that Jenna deserved to know.

Stitch: What about Victoria? Does she?

Kelly: I'd sure want to know if I were her.

Stitch: Will you stop playing with me, Kelly? Either you're gonna say something or not -- which is it?

Kelly: Well, maybe I haven't decided which.

Stitch: You know, you haven't said anything yet.

Kelly: Doesn't mean I won't.

Stitch: What, are you getting some kind of sick thrill out of holding this over my head?

Kelly: No. This isn't a game to me.

Stitch: Okay, then stop toying with me, Kelly. You know that Billy's out there asking questions about me. You know that you're the one with the answers. You're the only one who could tell Jenna.

Kelly: Look, when I told Jenna what you did, I was in a bad place. I-I-I just lost everything... and there you were, with a wife and a son, and you were so happy. It just -- I couldn't stand it.

Stitch: Destroying my life -- that make you feel better?

Kelly: No, it didn't. But I am getting better now and starting a new life...here.

Stitch: Yeah, and starting to believe that I deserve one, too?

Kelly: Look, this doesn't mean that I forgive you or that I ever will. I mean, I just don't want to punish you anymore.

Stitch: Okay, then you won't say anything?

Kelly: I think it's time we both moved on.

Jack: Billy, I know how difficult this must be for you -- seeing Victoria with another man.

Billy: Okay, great, so you'll help me?

Jack: You may be looking for something that doesn't exist.

Billy: Jack, this does exist. Stitch is hiding something, and Kelly knows what is.

Jack: For what it's worth, when Kelly and I were out the other night, I brought up Stitch.

Billy: And what'd she say?

Jack: She said they were once close. They've had a falling out.

Billy: Well, doesn't that tell you something?

Jack: Yeah, that she doesn't want to talk about it.

Billy: Jack, she is covering for him. Don't you want to know what it is? I sure as hell do.

Jack: If Kelly brings up Stitch, I'll see what I can find out, but I'm not going to spy for you. That wouldn't be fair to Kelly.

Billy: Okay, you're right. All right, it's not fair for me to put you in that situation, especially since you're just starting to see someone for the first time since Phyllis. Look, forget I asked. I won't bring it up again.

Jack: Does that mean you're gonna let this go?

Billy: [Chuckles] No. I'm gonna find out what Stitch is hiding on my own.

Jack: [Sighs]

Michael: Hey.

Kevin: Michael. You here to defend an unjustly accused client?

Michael: [Chuckles] Not today. I came to talk to you. You didn't return my phone calls.

Kevin: Oh, yeah. You know, I've been swamped. Paul can be a real slave driver, and don't even get me started on Chavez. Guy thinks he owns me. See all these? All his, but who's entering them into the computer?

Michael: I know why you're avoiding me, Kevin.

Kevin: I told you -- I've been busy.

Michael: Lauren talked to Chloe yesterday. She told Lauren that you'd given up on your marriage...

Kevin: Being a marriage? Yeah, that's true.

Michael: Well, what happened?

Kevin: Uh, nothing. Just like you said, a piece of paper wasn't gonna make Chloe fall back in love with me, and, uh, I finally realized that.

Chelsea: Did you say you're having a baby?

Chloe: I know. I know. It's not what you expected to hear.

Chelsea: [Chuckling] No, it wasn't, but... congratulations. You and Kevin must be so --

Chloe: Oh, I'm not having a baby with Kevin.

Chelsea: But you just said --

Chloe: I'm having a baby, but not with Kevin, and not yet. I'm not pregnant yet.

Chelsea: Okay, so, um -- so, you're planning on having a baby, just not with your husband?

Chloe: Right.

Chelsea: Okay, I'm confused. Um, I thought you and Kevin were doing well. I mean, that's the impression I got.

Chloe: From who? Kevin?

Chelsea: Yeah. He came to see me the other day to make sure I was serious about giving you a second chance.

Chloe: Yeah, well, he was probably just making sure that I have you to count on, now that I can't lean on him.

Chelsea: Because you don't love him?

Chloe: No. I do love him, and that's why I had to be honest with him. I can't go on letting him think that there's gonna be a future with us together. It's just not good for either of us.

Chelsea: So, you love Kevin, but you're --

Chloe: But I'm not in love with him, and he's accepted that, and we are moving on with our lives.

Chelsea: Okay, so, if you're not having a baby with Kevin... who are you having a baby with?

Paul: Do you have any proof that Dylan was following you?

Ian: Are you saying you don't share my suspicions, chief?

Paul: I deal in facts, and so far you haven't given me any facts about this alleged incident.

Ian: It's a fact someone was following me. And it's a fact, after my release from jail, my son has shown me nothing but contempt.

Paul: Okay, Ward, you know, if I were to arrest everyone who couldn't stand the sight of you, county jail would be full.

Ian: [Scoffing] Oh. You misunderstand me, Paul. I don't want you to arrest my son. I want you to prove that my fears are unfounded.

Paul: Oh. This is a new game. You're gonna have to explain the rules to me.

Ian: I don't want to believe that my son is headed down a dark path. I want you to tell me that you found some evidence proving that someone else broke into my room.

Paul: Oh. Well, we didn't find any evidence that points to anyone. In fact, whoever broke into your room was able to evade hotel security.

Ian: He's determined we not know his identity, huh -- whoever he is.

Paul: I'll make a note of your new complaint.

Ian: That's it?

Paul: Until you come up with something substantial, yeah, that's it.

[Knock on door]

Paul: Come in.

Christine: Hey, I was hoping -- I didn't know you were busy.

Ian: I was just leaving. No hard feelings, by the way, for working with that prosecutor in Madison to convict me.

Christine: Then you'll understand when we re-try you.

Ian: [Chuckles] It's a pity to waste taxpayers' money. Paul, you'll let me know if you get any new information on that matter we discussed.

Christine: [Scoffs] What was that all about?

Paul: [Sighs] Dylan. And I hope Ian's wrong.

Dylan: It had to be Ian. He made a point of telling us he saw your pilot. He knows your address.

Avery: No, it can't be him. When Ian taunts someone, he wants the person to know it's him. He likes the feeling of power that it gives him.

Dylan: I'm not gonna let him get away with this.

Avery: Okay, you promised me that you weren't gonna let him get to you. Are you going back on your word?

Dylan: Okay, you're right. I'm making too big a deal out of this.

Avery: And I hate to see you upset, especially if it's for nothing.

Dylan: I'm not upset.

Avery: [Sighs]

Dylan: Okay? I promise. This is my not-upset face.

[Knock on door]

Dylan: There's your crew.

Avery: Mm-hmm. [Sighs]

[Door opens]

Avery: Hi. How are you? Come in. Hello.

Michael: You just suddenly woke up one morning and realized that Chloe is never gonna love you?

Kevin: Michael, people have epiphanies all the time.

Michael: Name one.

Kevin: Britney Spears -- after she shaved her head. Fine. I overheard Chloe talking to Chelsea.

Michael: Saying that she didn't want to be with you anymore?

Kevin: Saying that Connor and Chelsea were her entire life, and without them, she has nothing. I read between the lines.

Michael: I'm sorry.

Kevin: Don't be. It's a relief. Do you know how much time and energy I spent trying to convince Chloe we should have a life together? It was exhausting. Now I can, you know, take a breath, try and focus on having a life of my own.

Michael: And you're okay with that?

Kevin: What do you want me to do, Michael -- fall apart, convince Chloe one more time that we should be together?

Michael: I would just like you to be honest. This has to be killing you inside. You have to talk to somebody.

Kevin: Well, there's always Gloria.

Michael: [Chuckles]

Kevin: Okay, I thought that if Chloe and I were married, living in the same house, that we could get back to being us again. She doesn't want it. Maybe she can't forgive me for screwing things up the first time, maybe losing Delia changed her too much, or maybe it's just not meant to be. Whatever the reason is, I have to accept the truth -- Chloe and I -- we had this thing that was fantastic. We don't have it anymore.

Michael: But you're still married, and you're still living in the same house.

Kevin: I made a commitment -- no strings attached.

Michael: That's admirable, but you need to think of yourself.

Kevin: Meaning?

Michael: I can get you out of the legal commitment you made to Chloe if you want me to.

Chloe: There is someone that I have in mind to be the father of my child.

Chelsea: But it's not Kevin?

Chloe: No.

Chelsea: Are you seeing someone else?

Chloe: God, no.

Chelsea: But you said you know who you want to father your baby.

Chloe: I know the kind of father I want for my baby.

Chelsea: Okay, okay, this will all be a lot more simple if you just tell me how you plan on getting pregnant.

Chloe: By a donor.

Chelsea: You're gonna get someone to give you his sperm?

Chloe: Not just someone. My baby's father is going to be funny, sweet, sensitive. He is going to push boundaries and -- and march by the beat of his own drum -- a charmer who -- who can get into and out of any situation just flashing his sexy smile. This man is going to help me make another Delia.

Chelsea: [Sighs] I-I can understand why you would want that, Chloe, but Delia was --

Chloe: Perfect.

Chelsea: [Sighs] And irreplaceable. I mean, losing her left a huge void in your life.

Chloe: And this baby is going to fill that void, and everything will finally be okay.

Chelsea: Chloe, a new baby is not gonna make everything okay.

Billy: Oh, hey.

Victoria: Oh.

Billy: Thanks. Didn't even have to knock.

Victoria: Billy, what's going on?

Billy: I'm here to see my son. It's my day.

Victoria: [Gasps] Oh. [Sighs] Oh, my god. I completely forgot. He's out with Hannah.

Billy: Oh, well, nice. After you told me that you weren't gonna keep me from him.

Victoria: No, I -- wait. Hold on. I swear, I'm not. I just messed up the dates. That's all. I'll text Hannah right now. [Sighs] Where's my phone?

Billy: It's right here. What's up, Victoria?

Victoria: What do you mean? Nothing.

Billy: Well, you're forgetting that it's my day with Johnny, leaving without your phone. I bet you don't even have your keys, do you? Right over there. So what's going on, Victoria?

Victoria: Nothing's going on, okay? I overslept, and I'm late for an appointment, and I completely spaced that it was your day with Johnny.

Billy: How could you forget something like that? You know how important these visits are to me.

Victoria: Okay, listen, it was just an honest mistake. Do you really think that I'd try to keep your son from you?

Billy: I-I would hope not.

Victoria: God, I can't believe that you actually think I would do anything to hurt either one of you like that.

Billy: Look, it's just hard not to jump to these kind of conclusions, especially given our circumstances these days.

Victoria: I would never make our child suffer because of something that's going on between us.

Billy: All right. I didn't think you would.

Victoria: Okay. Thank you. Hannah texted. She's bringing Johnny back by, so if you want to wait, you can.

Billy: Yeah. I do.

Victoria: Okay. I'll see you later.

Billy: Hey, Vicki. Look, it's good to know that whatever happens between us, we'll always put our son first.

Kelly: The final invoice for the fashion show.

Jack: You could have e-mailed this.

Kelly: I know.

Jack: So why didn't you?

Kelly: I wanted to see you.

Jack: Honesty -- very refreshing.

Kelly: I wanted to make sure that you were okay after our talk.

Jack: Our talk about Phyllis, you mean?

Kelly: I hope I didn't push you to do something that you weren't ready to do.

Jack: Sometimes we need to be pushed.

Kelly: I don't know. I-I didn't think anything could push me past losing Sam.

Jack: So what did?

Kelly: Oh, man. I don't know -- this and that. A series of steps, I guess, back and forth until, uh...here I am. It's kind of scary.

Jack: Kind of exciting, too. So, what do we do now?

Kelly: Do you like Italian films?

Jack: Does "The Godfather" count?

Kelly: Yeah. [Chuckles] Okay, so, um, I know what we're gonna do next.

Jack: You're thinking of taking me on a date?

Kelly: I am. I'll pay. [Chuckles]

Jack: Now?

Kelly: If you have time.

Jack: I do.

Kelly: Are you sure?

Jack: Here's what I'm sure of -- when something's important, you make time.

Avery: I'm still somewhere between excited and disbelief that this is actually happening.

Austin: Oh, I never doubted for a minute that you'd win people over.

Avery: Well, I've been told I can be pretty persuasive -- uh, usually by the opposing counsel and usually not in a good way. [Chuckles]

Austin: It worked to your advantage this time, right?

Avery: Well, if I'm gonna impress anybody, I guess I have to finish setting up. So excuse me. I'll be right back. Okay, yes.

Dylan: Austin.

Austin: Yeah?

Dylan: Can you do me a favor?

Austin: Sure, if I can.

Dylan: Yeah, I got to go. Uh, there's something I need to take care of. Can you just keep an eye on things during the shoot and let me know if you see anything off?

Austin: What do you mean, "off"?

Dylan: You know, something that's not right -- maybe somebody hanging out in the hall that shouldn't be, any kind of weird deliveries, anything like that.

Austin: Okay, what's up?

Dylan: Avery got these flowers anonymously, and she doesn't really think it's a big deal, but I just -- you know, I like to be cautious.

Austin: Look, I wouldn't flip out over a bunch of roses. Overzealous fans -- they're better than no fans.

Dylan: Maybe, but I could do without the nut jobs and all the hatred.

Austin: You've been reading the message boards.

Dylan: Yeah, there's some real jerks out there, you know?

Austin: Yeah, look, it's easy to rip someone anonymously, but I'd follow Avery's lead on this one. You don't want to let one gift get to you.

Dylan: Yeah, you're probably right. Still, let me know if you notice anything.

Austin: Sure.

Dylan: Because if somebody is messing with Avery, they won't be for long.

Christine: How far do you think Dylan would go to protect the ones he loves?

Paul: [Sighs] Are you asking if I think Dylan's the one harassing Ian?

Christine: Do you?

Paul: It's possible.

Christine: Well, he's not the only one who wants to see Ward sweat.

Paul: That's a long list, and most of the people on it are Newmans.

Christine: Yeah, well, as DA., I hope no one does anything ill-advised, but as a private citizen, I am not sorry that someone's trying to make Ian's life uncomfortable.

Paul: Neither am I. But unfortunately I'm sworn to protect all the people of this fair city.

Christine: Yes. And that is why you are the chief of police. Good, decent, and honest.

Paul: I feel a segue coming.

Christine: I want to ask you a question, and I want you to be honest.

Paul: Okay.

Christine: We never had a chance to talk the other day after I told you I might want to have a baby.

Paul: Right. I know. We've been busy.

Christine: I know. But I really wanted to give you a chance to think about it.

Paul: I've thought about it a lot.

Christine: Okay. [Sighs] Do you want to have a baby?

Avery: Let me know when you're ready.

Austin: Sure thing.

Avery: How do I look? Dylan?

Dylan: Oh. Yeah. I'm sorry. I was just thinking. You know what? I should go. It's probably better here that I'm not distracting you.

Avery: Okay. Normally, I wouldn't mind the distraction, but you're right. I think I need to focus. I'm still not completely comfortable on-camera.

Dylan: Just be yourself, like Austin said. That's what the fans love about you.

Avery: Okay.

Austin: Avery, we are all set.

Avery: Oh, okay. I'll be right there.

Austin: Cool.

Avery: Thank you. Thank you for being so supportive. I love you.

Dylan: I love you, too, and I will always, always have your back.

Avery: Okay. Ahh. All right. So --

Austin: We're good to go.

Avery: All right.

Austin: Let's do this.

Chloe: After you gave up Johnny, you wanted to have another baby. You miscarried, and then you had another child. I don't understand how that's different.

Chelsea: Chloe, I had a husband. We were starting a family together, and if you remember correctly, even Connor wasn't planned.

Chloe: But this is, and I've thought the whole thing through.

Chelsea: You are not thinking clearly.

Chloe: I am thinking clearly! And why do people keep on saying that?! [Sighs]

Chelsea: Listen, I'm just concerned that it's too soon for you to have a baby. I mean, you're still mourning Delia.

Chloe: I am gonna be mourning Delia my entire life. I can't let that stop me from living.

Chelsea: No, of course not. I just don't think that this is the right way to move forward. What does your therapist say?

Chloe: I haven't talked to her about it yet.

Chelsea: Chloe, you have to.

Chloe: I know. I will. But, Chelsea, I know that I am doing the right thing. If I have a baby, it will make me whole again, especially if I do it with the right man.

Billy: [High-pitched voice] Oh, save me. Save me, please. I need help. [Deep voice] Oh, here I come. Ooh, I'm gonna step on your train. Your little car here -- rah! [Chuckles] [Normal voice] Get your little trucks here. There you go. Huh? You want to knock that over? Come on.

[Knock on door]

Billy: Mm. I'll be right back. You keep an eye on the fairy princess for me, huh? All right? You're lucky I have insurance on that '''Vette."

Stitch: Billy. I didn't expect to see you here.

Billy: Yeah, I wish I could say the same.

Stitch: I came to see Victoria.

Billy: Oh, she's not here, but I am. I'm spending time with my son, so hasta la vista.

Stitch: Okay, could you give this to her? It's chicken soup. She said she wasn't feeling well.

Billy: That's strange that she didn't say anything to me about it.

Dr. Chiverton: I appreciate you putting a rush on that.

[Door closes]

Dr. Chiverton: That was the lab.

Victoria: What did they say?

Dr. Chiverton: They confirmed what you thought. Congratulations, Victoria. You are pregnant.

Victoria: [Sighs]

*

Christine: We can always talk about this another time.

Paul: No, no, no. You know, if we keep putting it off, we are never gonna find time to discuss it. Let's see if we can string, like, five uninterrupted minutes together.

Christine: Okay, go.

Paul: [Chuckling] Okay. Uh, I don't know, Chris. You know...being a father has, um...always been a challenge for me. And, uh, Heather and Ricky were not born under ideal conditions, and you know I-I tried to make up for that. I did better with Heather than I did with Ricky, obviously. I never thought that, um...I'd have another chance to be a dad again.

Christine: And now that you do?

Paul: The timing is certainly better. And, uh, we are a certainly reasonable facsimile of, uh, mature adults, don't you think? And the job situation seems to be rather stable right now. So --

Christine: But?

Paul: No "but" at all. I just -- I guess I have a question for you right now.

Christine: Okay. What?

Paul: What made you decide to have a baby all of a sudden, change your mind?

Christine: A lot of reasons. I guess the top one being if I'm gonna do it, I really need to do it now, but it's not just the biological clock winding down.

Paul: What else?

Christine: [Voice breaking] I never thought that I would be a great mother.

Paul: Oh.

Christine: No, no, really. I was worried that I would have the same kind of relationship with my child that I had with my mother, and so I just put the idea in the back of my mind -- you know, completely devoted myself at work and thought that that would be enough. Besides, I-I couldn't do it all, right? Work and raise kids -- that's what I told myself.

Paul: Now you're having second thoughts?

Christine: I love my career, and I wouldn't trade it for anything, but, you know, something's missing.

Paul: And you think that is what it is?

Christine: When I married you, [Chuckles] My life was perfect. And then I started imagining having a little boy or a little girl with you, and "perfect" just seemed different. Suddenly, it was diapers and 4:00 a.. Feedings and skinned knees and -- and braces and college tuition. Look, I love you, and I love our life, but one thing would make it better.

Paul: Having a baby.

Christine: Having your baby. [Chuckles] Ahh. So what do you say?

Paul: I say you're beautiful, and I think you're right. So do you want to start trying tonight?

Christine: Yeah.

Paul: I love you.

Christine: I love you. [Chuckles, sighs]

Victoria: Wow. I mean, I-I almost can't believe it. You guys said that it would take a miracle for me to get pregnant.

Dr. Chiverton: If those keep popping up, us medical types are gonna start believing in them.

Victoria: I...um, Dr. Chiverton, I mean, does everything look okay? I mean, as far as you can tell?

Dr. Chiverton: Your lab results show normal hormone levels. You appear to be in excellent health.

Victoria: Okay, because with my history of, um, the miscarriages and everything...

Dr. Chiverton: Well, we'll have to keep an eye on you and the baby, but so far, everything looks good.

Victoria: Okay.

Dr. Chiverton: Now, I see from your medical records you and your husband went through fertility treatments last year. You must be anxious to give him the good news.

Victoria: Oh, yeah, I mean... I guess if this were a few months ago, I would have been.

Dr. Chiverton: And now?

Victoria: I don't know if Billy is the baby's father.

Dr. Chiverton: I see. Well, your medical records are completely confidential. At some point, it would be a good idea to get the father's medical history, but there is no rush now.

Stitch: Look, Victoria probably didn't want to worry you. It's not like her illness was that serious.

Billy: Serious enough for you to make a "house call."

Stitch: I don't want to intrude on your time with your son.

Billy: Listen, Stitch, don't get used to coming by here without an invite, all right? This is my house. Johnny's my son, and Victoria's my wife.

Stitch: For now.

Billy: You know, you're a cocky son of a bitch for someone who's hiding something, which I will find out.

Stitch: Look all you want, Billy -- you won't find a thing.

Billy: Don't bet on it, doc.

Kelly: What did you think?

Jack: I thought it was very Italian.

Kelly: [Laughs] That's terrible. You didn't like it?

Jack: No, no. Well I -- you know what? Here's my issue with all foreign film -- why can't one character be honest and forthright?

Kelly: [Sighs] You mean, "why can't they speak English?"

Jack: No. Why can't they just meet... [Exaggerated foreign accent] Fall in love, the end?

Kelly: [Chuckles] What kind of story would that be? I mean, there'd be no romance, no heartbreak, no drama. I just want to be swept away by the longing looks and the music and the costumes and the scenery. Ohh, god, scenery! Tell me you weren't just devastated by those beautiful shots of Rome.

Jack: [Normal voice] I'd rather just go there.

Kelly: [Sighs] Well, I'll give you that one, but what about the love story? I mean, when the man finally, at the end, opened his eyes, and he saw all that incredible beauty that had been in front of him the whole time?

Jack: Yeah.

Kelly: [Breathing deeply]

Jack: I'm sorry.

Kelly: Oh -- oh, I understand. It, uh -- it's okay. It's okay. It's -- it's too soon.

Jack: No, no, no, no. No, I worried that I overstepped.

Kelly: You didn't.

Kevin: Michael, don't you have a wife that could use your attention -- a son, a mother you never call?

Michael: You still haven't answered my question.

Kevin: I told you -- I'm busy right now.

Michael: No, we need to finish this conversation. Do you want to end your marriage to Chloe or not?

Kevin: Not. Now, I have to get back --

Michael: Kevin.

Kevin: Michael, I'm not gonna send her to Fairview.

Michael: I understand you want to stand by a commitment you made to her, even though there's no chance of the two of you ever having a real marriage.

Kevin: I owe this to her, okay -- for all the times she stood by me and all the crap I put her through.

Michael: You sure?

Kevin: I'm sure.

Michael: You're making a huge sacrifice, Kevin, and I hope it pays off for you.

Kevin: It already has. Since I backed off, Chloe is doing much, much better.

Chloe: You know, I really thought, of all people, that you would be glad that I would finally be happy again.

Chelsea: Chloe, there is nothing I want more in this world than to see you happy... but I just don't think that this is the way.

Chloe: But this would be great for the both of us. I mean, if I have another child, I can put all of my focus on him or her, rather than devoting all of my attention to Connor.

Chelsea: Okay, um, just promise me you will think about this more before you go through with anything.

Chloe: I already found a donor. We are going to make an amazing child.

Victoria: Prenatal vitamins.

Dr. Chiverton: I want you to start taking them today.

Victoria: Yeah, sure. I'll get those filled right away.

Dr. Chiverton: Check with my nurse about making another appointment. Victoria, if you have any questions or concerns, just call me.

Victoria: Yeah, I will. Thank you.

DR. Chiverton: Sure.

Stitch: Victoria. What are you doing here?

Avery: Thank you.

Austin: Okay, what are we making today?

Avery: Uh, we are making my criminally delicious crème-brûlée French toast.

Austin: Did you come up with that name yourself?

Avery: Is it horrible?

Austin: No, no, no. It's great. You know, my mom used to make great French toast. My girlfriend tried to once.

Avery: Oh. And?

Austin: Well, she's probably not gonna have her own cooking show.

Avery: Oh, well, you tell her to watch this episode, and she'll be able to make this.

Austin: Well, I'm sure it won't be as good as yours.

Avery: Well, I am gonna show you and your girlfriend how easy it is.

Austin: Hey, us and all your fans.

Avery: Yes, let's get some more of those. [Chuckles] [Sighs]

Austin: Hey, why don't we put these right next to you? They'll look great in the shot.

Avery: Oh. Um... okay.

Austin: Perfect. Too bad you can't thank whoever sent them.

Avery: Yeah.

Austin: Okay. Uh, we're ready to go.

[Door beeps]

Next on "The Young and the Restless"...

Jack: We should take this somewhere private.

Paul: This is Chief Williams.

Ian: Paul, my suite was broken into again.

Billy: What has Dr. Rayburn really told you about himself? There's something you need to know about him.
