Paul: Hey, Dylan.

Dylan: Hey, Chief.

Paul: You got a minute?

Dylan: Am I gonna regret saying yes?

Paul: Well, as long as I don't start with "You have a right to remain silent," you should be fine. Um, listen, I wanted to talk to you about your father.

Dylan: Don't tell me Leslie got the charges against him dropped.

Paul: Oh, no. He's still in Madison awaiting trial. Chris is there right now taking his deposition.

Dylan: Hopefully with what she gets out of him and the evidence Nikki provided, you can just lock him up, throw away the key.

Paul: Well, my wife is very good at what she does.

Dylan: Well, I hope, because he needs to go. Ian Ward has messed with enough lives.

Paul: Right. Unfortunately, I don't think he's done yet.

Noah: You haven't even touched your doughnut.

Faith: I'm not hungry.

Noah: Chocolate icing and sprinkles? Do you want me to get you something else?

Faith: I just want Mommy.

Noah: I know, Honey.

Faith: When is she coming home, Noah?

Dr. Mead: Morning. How are you feeling?

Sharon: Um...I'm -- I'm not sure.

Dr. Mead: Well, you're in the hospital. Nick brought you.

Sharon: Nick?

Dr. Mead: Mm-hmm. He was here with you all last night. I pried him off that chair about five minutes ago. I'm sure he'll be back soon.

Sharon: Oh, my head.

Dr. Mead: You were pretty upset when you got here. I had to give you a sedative. Do you remember what happened?

[Sharon remembering]

Sharon: You're in my mind. You can't be real.

Cassie: Let go! You crazy bitch, I am real!

[Back to present]

Sharon: I-I saw Cassie.

Dr. Mead: You thought you saw her.

Sharon: No. She was real. She was there.

Cane: [Sighs] Thank you.

Lily: You're welcome.

Cane: Hey.

Lily: Hi.

Cane: Hey.

Lily: I figured you could use some caffeine since you came to bed late last night.

Cane: Yeah, I lost track of time.

Lily: And you woke up very early this morning.

Cane: Well, I was trying to get a jump start on these books and turn some of this red into black.

Lily: Hmm. And read this?

Cane: I'm trying to put some pieces together.

Lily: Cane, I know that you're trying to figure out what went wrong with Bonaventure, but you don't have to hide it from me.

Cane: I'm not hiding anything from you. I promise you.

Lily: But what you are hiding is that what this is really about is Victor's job offer.

Cane: [Sighs]

Nikki: Thank you so much for that wonderful anniversary breakfast. And my necklace -- oh, it is so beautiful. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Victor: Let me see it. It is beautiful, isn't it?

Nikki: So gorgeous.

Victor: If I may say so myself.

Nikki: And you do.

Victor: And tonight, my darling, we are going to have dinner at that Spanish restaurant you've been talking about.

Nikki: The one in Chicago?

Victor: Yeah. I told the pilot to be ready at 6:00.

Nikki: Well, you be careful now. You'll spoil me.

Victor: That was the intent. I had to do something. Don't expect a gift from our children. Have you spoken with Victoria?

Nikki: Actually, she did call me this morning to wish us a happy anniversary. And Billy is still at Jack's.

Victor: Well, that's good to know. So she heeded my advice.

Nikki: I'm sure you didn't hesitate to tell her that. Victor, please let Victoria decide if she wants him in her life or not.

Victor: Sweetheart, she's a very bright, very strong, very independent girl who usually, in every other aspect of her life, is very successful. When it comes to that degenerate Billy Abbott --

[Cell phone rings]

Nikki: Oh! It's Noah. Hi, Sweetheart.

Noah: Hey, Grandma. Uh, I was wondering if you could watch Faith for -- actually, I don't know how long it will take.

Nikki: Well, of course. Uh, where are Sharon and Nicholas?

Noah: Dad took Mom to the hospital last night.

Nikki: The hospital? What happened? Oh, Noah, I am so sorry. Yes, of course. I'll get to the coffee house as soon as I can.

Victor: What's going on?

Nikki: It's Sharon.

Victor: What happened with Sharon?

Nikki: She had some sort of a meltdown. Nicholas took her to Memorial.

Victor: She still there?

Nikki: He spent the night with her.

Victor: Huh.

Paul: I can't stop thinking about what Ian said to me before we hauled him off to jail.

Dylan: What, about him doing you a favor?

Paul: Yeah. At first I thought he was just messing with my head, but you told me that he did the same thing to you.

Dylan: Yeah, but I'm not gonna let him.

Paul: He told you that if you killed him, you wouldn’t know some secret. You two were in my office a long time. He must have said something.

Dylan: Yeah, he said something.

Paul: What was it?

Dylan: [Sighs] Well, first I told him what I thought of him and asked him why he came here. And then he told me that if I looked hard enough, that I would find the good in my father.

Paul: What the hell does that mean?

Dylan: I don't care. I don't want to know what it means. I think he knows that I try to find the good in people, and I think he knows that if he said something like that, that I would start thinking twice about things. It doesn't mean anything. Look, I just want to put all this behind me, just get back to my life.

Paul: But...?

Dylan: [Sighs] But when you find out everything you believed about yourself is pretty much one big lie, it's hard not to expect that there might be other things out there that I don't know about.

Stitch: Hey, we need to talk.

Kelly: No. I don't have anything to say.

Stitch: All right. Then just listen.

Kelly: To you? No thanks.

Stitch: All right. What you said yesterday at Crimson Lights...

Kelly: Uh, about you being a murderer?

Stitch: All right, I'd rather you not go around saying that.

Kelly: What's the matter, Ben? You worried about what your friends will think of you if they know the truth about you?

Stitch: All right, damn it --

Kelly: Because you should be worried because you wouldn't have any friends if they knew what you were capable of.

Cane: I'm looking at what happened at Bonaventure as a favor to Victor, and that is all.

Lily: Yeah, you say that, but I can see how reading it is affecting you. You're all energized, and you couldn't even sleep last night.

Cane: Because I want to get to the bottom on this drug mess 'cause I am the one who acquired the company when I was at Chancellor and I am the one who told Victor "Don't cut the company loose" when he was restructuring.

Lily: Cane, it is not your fault those pills were sold illegally online.

Cane: Okay, but whoever did that has damaged Katherine's name and I want them caught and I want them punished, okay? And once I've done that, I promise you, I'll be back here 100%. I will focus on the job at the club. I promise you.

Lily: Okay. I-I-I guess I can pick up the slack in the meantime.

Cane: All right. Listen. I know this is hard for you. You have the fashion show coming up. Okay, I know that.

Lily: Look, just be honest with me. Are you sorry we took the jobs here?

Victor: Noah didn't say anything about what caused Sharon's breakdown?

Nikki: I got the feeling he didn't want to say too much in front of Faith.

Victor: By the way, that child needs to be protected.

Nikki: Well, she is.

Victor: The best way to protect her is to keep her away from Sharon.

Nikki: Victor, Sharon is her mother.

Victor: She is an incompetent mother. She doesn't know what's best for their child.

Nikki: Please stop.

Victor: What? Worrying about my children and grandchildren? Never.

Nikki: Stop interfering in their lives.

Victor: They should be very glad that someone gives a damn.

Nikki: You can't stop them from being hurt.

Victor: And you can't stop me from trying.

Nikki: I do understand, you know? You're trying to protect them. You're trying to shelter them from the hardship that nobody ever did for you.

Victor: What the hell is wrong with that?

Nikki: Darling, it's just -- how can I say this? It's just -- it's just the way you do it. You know, you just control every aspect of their lives, and I'm so worried it's gonna backfire on you. I mean, it already has, really, with Nicholas and Victoria. Even Noah has turned away from you. If you don't stop interfering in their lives, Victor, I worry that you're gonna lose them for good. So please think about that before you do something that will make them run from you forever. Please.

Victor: Meet me in the park. I want to know what happened with Sharon.

Sharon: I touched her.

Dr. Mead: That's not the first time you've told me that.

Sharon: But she -- she cried out in pain when I grabbed her hand. She begged me to let go.

Dr. Mead: What led up to you grabbing Cassie?

Sharon: We were arguing.

Dr. Mead: About what?

Sharon: She said that I didn't deserve Nick, that I wasn't good enough for him.

Dr. Mead: Isn't that how you feel?

Sharon: Yes, but...

Dr. Mead: We've talked about this.

Sharon: I know. My inner struggle with myself which manifests with visions of Cassie.

Dr. Mead: Yes.

Sharon: But why would I imagine her hurting me?

Dr. Mead: Her actions and words are yours, remember? So, you're telling yourself that keeping this secret from Nick is hurting you.

Sharon: If that's true, then I didn't see Cassie last night and I didn't touch her?

Dr. Mead: No.

Sharon: Then... she really isn't alive. She's -- she's dead.

Dr. Mead: Yes.

Sharon: It just never stops.

Dr. Mead: Sharon, you can make it stop if you want to.

Cane: I am happy working here. It is the perfect fit for us.

Lily: Yeah, well, it's about two sizes too small for you.

Cane: Ah, they're your words.

Lily: Cane, I know you well enough to know when you're happy, and I can tell that you miss the corporate rat race.

Cane: Listen, when I worked at Chancellor, I worked every weekend. I didn't get home till the kids went to bed. I left every morning before they woke up.

Lily: Yeah, but guess what? You loved what you did.

Cane: I love you. I love Mattie and I love Charlie. And there is no job more perfect than this.

Lily: But if you're not happy --

Cane: I am happy. You make me happy. Our life makes me happy.

Stitch: You already ruined my life once. Isn't that enough?

Kelly: Oh, please. Do not blame me for Jenna leaving you.

Stitch: If you hadn't told her --

Kelly: Well, if you hadn't killed --

Stitch: Hey, hey, hey. Please keep your voice down. If that ever got out, I mean, I could -- I could lose everything -- my job, my friends.

Kelly: Friends. Like Victoria?

Stitch: I am begging you. Just -- just promise me you won't say anything to anyone.

Kelly: I promise I won't say anything to anyone. But that doesn't mean the truth won't come out. You know, the past has a way of catching up with you.

Sharon: If you're talking about me telling Nick my secret --

Dr. Mead: You said you were going to.

Sharon: I couldn't.

Dr. Mead: What was holding you back?

Sharon: I'm afraid.

Dr. Mead: That you'll lose Nick if you tell him the truth.

Sharon: Yes.

Dr. Mead: This may be the only way you can get your life back on track.

Sharon: You -- you mentioned another way. ECT?

Dr. Mead: Electro-convulsive therapy.

Sharon: Would it stop me from seeing Cassie?

Dr. Mead: It's been used to successfully treat hallucinations.

Sharon: How soon could I do it?

Dr. Mead: Sharon, I think you should consider all of your options before you decide on something so drastic.

Sharon: I've tried talking about my problems. I -- Lord knows I've tried every medication. I've done yoga, meditation, everything, exercise. Nothing has worked.

Dr. Mead: I won't deny that ECT can be effective. But there are possible side effects, and some of them can be painful.

Sharon: Nothing could be more painful than losing Nick.

Noah: Hey, Sweetie. Grandma is gonna come pick you up and you get to play hooky and hang out with her today. Isn't that cool?

Faith: I'd rather be with Mommy.

Noah: I know, Kiddo. Mom -- she's, um -- she's just -- she's a little under the weather right now, and she needs some time to rest.

Faith: How much time?

Noah: I don't know. Why don't you draw her a picture? I think that would cheer her up.

Faith: Okay.

Noah: Oh, there's Grandma. Uh, start on that picture, okay? Thanks for coming.

Nikki: How are you doing?

Noah: Okay. Just a little worried about my mom. Trying not to freak Faith out. Dad said he doesn't want her to know that she's in the hospital.

Nikki: Oh, well, I'm not gonna say anything. I'm glad Nicholas took her to the hospital. It sounds like that's the best place for her.

Noah: If you're okay with Faith, I'm gonna head over there.

Nikki: Oh, Honey. I'm fine. Go ahead.

Noah: Okay. Sweetie, I'm gonna take off, okay? Have fun with Grandma. Love you. I'll call you.

Nikki: Uh-huh. Absolutely. Hi, cute stuff. Whatcha doing there?

Faith: Drawing a picture for Mommy so she won't be sad about Cassie anymore.

Cassie: Oh, it's about time. "Meet me in the park" and then you're late.

Victor: What happened last night? I understand Sharon had an episode.

Cassie: Episode? More like a full-blown breakdown brought on by an encounter with her dead daughter.

Victor: Please keep your voice down, okay? Now, did she confide in you before...Nicholas took her to the hospital?

Cassie: No. She was afraid. I was working her, and she... would have given it up...if Nick hadn't found out.

Victor: He didn't see you, did he?

Cassie: No. But this is getting sticky. I feel really bad for her. She was a mess.

Victor: Money I pay you should ease your conscious, don't you think?

Cassie: You know, it's a funny thing, guilt. Comes at a high price.

Victor: Oh, you want to re-negotiate, is that it?

Cassie: I'm just saying that this is not what I signed up for.

Victor: Mm-hmm. And you want more money?

Cassie: Yeah. This is a tough job. I think I deserve more.

Victor: Oh, yeah. If I don't pay you, then you're gonna leave town. Is that it?

Cassie: Sure. I have other options.

Victor: Oh, you do? Well, let me tell you something. Victor Newman never re-negotiates. You either take the money I gave you to finish the job or else we'll shut this case down and you pack your things and leave town. How's that?

[Knock on door]

Noah: Mind if I come in?

Sharon: Noah. Of course.

Noah: How you doing?

Sharon: Much better.

Noah: I'm not Faith, Mom. You can tell me if you're not doing well.

Sharon: I had a rough night, but I'm determined to get through this.

Noah: I know that you're doing everything you can to get better.

Sharon: I have been, but I'm not getting better. I'm still seeing Cassie.

Noah: Dad told me.

Sharon: I know it's all in my head, but it just seems so real.

Noah: Was she talking to you again?

Sharon: It was more than that. I touched her. I-I felt her, and it wasn't the first time.

Noah: But you know that couldn't have happened, right?

Sharon: She just felt so warm and so real when I laid my hand on her, and...I know this is gonna sound crazy, but last night, I thought Cassie was still alive, that she never died.

Noah: Mom --

Sharon: How else could you explain this? How else could I be touching her?

Noah: You're confused. Probably from the new meds, and as soon as we get that fixed, it's -- it's gonna be fine.

Sharon: No. The meds are not working. And I'm afraid if something doesn't work soon, I really am gonna go out of my mind.

Cassie: Hey.

Victor: Hmm?

Cassie: Don't get all "Tough guy" on me. I'm not saying that I'm bailing. I'm just saying that the lady is certifiable. I put myself at risk every time I'm around her.

Victor: You know, even completely insane, Sharon would not hurt her own child.

Cassie: Yeah? Check this out.

Victor: How did that happen?

Cassie: You told me to use whatever means necessary to get this stupid secret, and I think that that deserves a bump in pay.

Victor: I want you to take the money I gave you and leave Genoa City.

Cassie: Wait. Hey, hey, wait. I don't get my big payday unless I uncover this secret for you. That was our deal.

Victor: There's no deal, all right?

Cassie: But it's just a question of a few dollars.

Victor: I want you to leave Genoa City now.

Cassie: So, what? You're giving up just like that?

Victor: I'll find some other way to get this secret out of Sharon.

Cassie: How? The only other person who knows this secret is that chick Phyllis, and from what I hear, she's in a coma.

Victor: And she may come out of it one day, okay?

Cassie: Or never. And what about your family? You know, you said that you wanted to protect them.

Victor: You bet. I'll continue to protect them. But I was told that there's a right way to do it and a wrong way to do it.

Nikki: Thank you. So, is that the playground at your school?

Faith: No. It's in heaven.

Nikki: Oh. And who's that?

Faith: That's Cassie.

Nikki: Well, she has a very pretty shirt on.

Faith: It's the one from the picture.

Nikki: What picture?

Faith: The one in the photo album. Mommy always looks at it. It's her favorite.

Nikki: Well, you know, it's your grandpa's favorite, too. He has it on his desk at work.

Faith: So is my picture and yours and Daddy, Summer, and Noah's.

Nikki: He likes to have his family around him.

Faith: I should draw him a picture of our whole family.

Nikki: He would love that.

Faith: I'm gonna need more paper, 'cause there's a lot of people in our family.

Nikki: We are so lucky to have so many people to love.

Paul: Thanks. So, Ian was playing right into your fear, wasn't he? I mean, not knowing what you'd uncover next. "If you look hard enough, you'd find the good in your father"?

Dylan: I don't want to look at him. I don't want to find any good there at all.

Paul: Yeah, but, Dylan, you seem to be dealing with this very well.

Dylan: Uh, I don't know. I'm not sure Nick would agree with that, or Victor.

Paul: No, but Nikki would. You could have shut her out once she told you you were her son, but you didn't. You made an effort to get to know her, to get to know the family. I mean, that just shows the kind of man you are.

Dylan: Well, I got to give my parents -- uh, the McAvoys credit for that. I mean, my, uh -- my dad was a -- he was a great role model. He taught me about honor and integrity -- things Ian Ward doesn't know anything about.

Paul: Well, just so you know, I, um -- I didn't mention anything to Nikki about what Ian Ward said to me. I think that's best, don't you?

Nikki: Why don't you let me decide that?

Lily: I hope there's vodka in that.

Kelly: Hey. Um...mm, it's mostly orange juice.

Lily: Well, you may want the next one to be a little bit stronger, because I have some bad news for you.

Kelly: Really? Oh, it's been that kind of day. Don't worry. Lay it on me.

Lily: Dr. Klein -- he got engaged.

Kelly: Oh, the wealthy dentist, George Clooney look-alike.

Lily: Yes. Over the weekend. Can you believe it?

Kelly: Well, the way my life's going, yes. I can totally believe it.

Lily: Well, I thought I should tell you before the fashion show so that you're not the talk of two social events.

Kelly: Thank you.

Lily: Unless you want to be.

Kelly: No! I'm through with unavailable men.

Lily: Well, I'm sure the women of Genoa City will be happy to hear that.

Kelly: Why don't we toast to that? Um, barkeep. Two more of these, and, uh, a little stronger this time.

Lily: [Laughs]

Paul: Well, Dylan and I actually were just discussing --

Nikki: Trying to protect me. Yes, I heard.

Dylan: You're on your own.

Nikki: I don't need any protection, certainly not from Ian.

Paul: No, I know. You -- you made that abundantly clear the other day when you told him off.

Nikki: Why don't you just tell me what he said to you that you don't want me to know?

Faith: Grandma, did you get more paper? Hi, Dylan.

Dylan: Hey, Faith. Do you need paper?

Faith: To draw a picture for Grandpa.

Dylan: Great. I actually have some extra paper. Nikki?

Nikki: Its fine, Honey. Go ahead.

Paul: All right, Dylan. Thanks for the coffee.

Nikki: Hold it. You're not getting off that easily.

Paul: Ian was just up to his usual tricks -- playing mind games.

Nikki: Tell me what he said.

Paul: It was just some ramblings about him doing me a favor.

Nikki: Doing you a favor? What does that mean?

Paul: Nikki, I don't know.

Nikki: So, that's it?

Paul: Well, no. He -- he told Dylan that if he looked hard enough, he could see the good in his father.

Nikki: Oh, well, we know that's a lie.

Paul: I'm telling you. It's just Ian messing with our heads.

Nikki: No. He's up to something!

Paul: You see, Nik, this is exactly why I didn't want to tell you. You know, you're getting all worked up, and there's no reason to.

Nikki: You know the man as well as I do. He wouldn't have said those things to you and Dylan for no reason.

Noah: You're not going crazy. You have bipolar disorder. It's treatable. It's just a matter of finding what works.

Sharon: I know.

Noah: And there are things you probably haven't even considered yet. Dad will be back soon. We'll do some research. We'll get this figured out.

Sharon: Right now, I think I'd -- I'd like to just get some rest.

Noah: Sure. I'll stay with you till you fall asleep.

Sharon: You don't have to. I'll be fine.

Noah: I know. As soon as we find a treatment for you that works, everything will go back to the way it was before you started seeing Cassie.

Sharon: No. I don't want things to go back to the way they were. Nick and I are finally in a good place again. I don't want to lose that. I don't want to lose him.

Noah: You won't. He cares about you, Mom. There's nothing you could do that would make him stop caring.

Sharon: I have to make sure of that. I have to make sure that these visions of Cassie go away.

Victor: Cane, good to see you.

Cane: You, too, Sir.

Victor: Kindly have a seat.

Cane: So, I, uh -- I wanted to tell you what I found out about Bonaventure.

Victor: Well, I'm anxious to hear it.

Cane: Well, as you know, I got into the Biotech field 'cause I wanted to support cutting-edge cancer therapies.

Victor: Because of Lily's history.

Cane: Yeah. Did a lot of leg work looking for the right company, and I couldn't find it. Then I come across Bonaventure -- small start-up, huge potential, available for immediate acquisition. Seemed like the perfect fit.

Victor: That's almost too perfect, don't you think? I mean, a company that's not even on the radar screen suddenly is available for acquisition when you are ready to buy it?

Cane: Mm-hmm. In hindsight, it seems coincidental, doesn't it?

Victor: Uh-huh. How did you find out about Bonaventure?

Cane: A venture-capital blog.

Victor: I doubt it was put there by accident.

Cane: I'm starting to think the same thing.

Victor: Uh-huh. Probably put there by the same person who...set me up for a fall...for selling drugs on the internet -- illegal drugs -- drugs that almost killed my granddaughter.

Dylan: Then that is Summer.

Faith: Uh-huh.

Dylan: Mm-hmm. Okay. And then this must be Victoria?

Faith: No, silly. It's a boy.

Dylan: Oh! A boy. Okay, uh...Billy? No? Uh, well, it can't be Johnny, 'cause he doesn't have spiky hair, so...

Faith: It's you.

Dylan: It's me? I thought you were drawing a picture of your family.

Faith: You're my daddy's brother. That makes you family.

Dylan: Who's that?

Faith: That's Whiskers. He lives behind the stables. Grandma says he catches all the mice.

Dylan: Whiskers is a cat?

Faith: But he has to stay outside.

Dylan: Oh, well, that's -- that's actually good, because I'm allergic to cats.

Faith: You are?

Dylan: Yeah. Even ones made of crayon. Ah-choo!

Faith: You can't be allergic to a picture.

Dylan: I am. I swear. Ah-choo! Ah-choo!

Nikki: It's nice that he can make her smile, especially today.

Paul: Why? What happened today?

Nikki: Well, Sharon had some kind of a breakdown last night. Nicholas had to take her to the hospital.

Paul: Oh, no. Nikki, I'm so sorry for all of you.

Nikki: Thank you, Paul. That is the reaction I was hoping that Victor would have. Instead, his very first thought was to use the situation as a way to get Sharon out of Nicholas' life.

Paul: Oh. Well...Victor's always trying to control his kids. That's nothing new.

Nikki: No, that's true, but I warned him. I told him if he didn't stop, he was gonna lose everybody for good. I just hope he listened.

Noah: Hey, Dad. Yeah, it's me. Uh, she's in with the doctor right now. She says she's doing fine. It's just hard to see her like this, you know?

Sharon: I read the literature you gave me, and...I'm ready to go ahead with the ECT.

Dr. Mead: Did you discuss it with your son?

Sharon: I don't want to worry him.

Dr. Mead: Is that the only reason?

Sharon: I don't want anyone to talk me out of this.

Dr. Mead: Is that why you're rushing to do this before Nick gets back?

Sharon: I-I've made up my mind. This is the only option I have. Now, please, Doctor. I've signed the consent forms. Can we just do this?

Dr. Mead: If you're sure.

Sharon: I am.

Dr. Mead: Let's get started, then. This anesthetic will kick in fairly quickly. And once it does, the orderlies will take you to the treatment room, and then we can begin the procedure, okay?

Cassie: I know I shouldn't be here. I just -- I just wanted to say that I'm sorry.

Sharon: Cassie... no. Go away!

Victor: There must have been a lot of little companies advertised on that venture-capital blog. How did Bonaventure come to your attention?

Cane: It was the featured company to watch.

Victor: After you visited the site?

Cane: Yes.

Victor: Uh-huh. Maybe someone knew about that.

Cane: It's possible. I went back to the blog. It's been taken down since.

Victor: Really? Well, I'm not surprised by that. Obviously, they didn't want to leave a trail, did they? I guess we're gonna have to find out who's behind all this, don't we?

Cane: Um... we?

Victor: Don't you want to know who's using you to tarnish the good Chancellor name?

Cane: You know, I just came here to tell you what I discovered, that's all.

Victor: You've forgotten about my offer to make you C.E.O. of Chancellor?

Cane: I didn't think you were being serious.

Victor: Oh, I'm very serious. I rarely say things that aren't serious. So, you find out who the hell is behind this, and the job is yours.

Lily: It's hopeless. I am not a numbers person.

Kelly: Well, if I hadn't had two of these, I would have offered to help.

Lily: No, it's fine. I'll just wait for Cane.

Kelly: Mm, then it that case, join me for another.

Lily: Uh, I don't know about that one. I think one is my limit before noon on a workday.

Kelly: Well, that's one of the perks of being unemployed.

Lily: Oh, speaking of which, did my friend from the school board get in contact with you?

Kelly: Yes. Allison called me this morning. And just as I suspected, they're not hiring full-time teachers until the fall, and they don't need any more substitutes.

Lily: I'm sorry.

Kelly: Like I said, that's just how my day is going.

Lily: Yeah, well, I could use your help here at the club.

Kelly: Are you taking pity on me?

Lily: No. You'd be doing me a favor. I'm gonna be slammed up until the fashion show.

Kelly: Well, I guess if I'm working for you, then I don't have to worry about you fixing me up for it.

Lily: Oh. You think that's gonna stop me? No way.

Nikki: Hey, Stitch. How are you?

Stitch: Oh, for an overworked, underpaid resident, not bad.

Nikki: Well, you know, my husband is on the board at the hospital. If you'd like, I could have him speak to somebody about the hours that the residents work.

Stitch: Oh, that -- that's no worse than serving under this guy, and I survived that.

Nikki: If you should change your mind, let me know.

Stitch: Will do.

Nikki: Bye, Dylan.

Dylan: Bye. Bye, Nikki.

Faith: Bye, Dylan.

Dylan: Bye, Faith. All right. You got Nikki going to bat for you. Nice.

Stitch: Well, that's 'cause she doesn't really know me.

Dylan: Look, if you're worried about this whole thing with Victoria, I'm sure Nikki's not gonna find out about that.

Stitch: Yeah, I don't know. Billy's being a real jerk about it.

Dylan: Well, you did kiss his wife.

Stitch: If he hadn't blown her whole world apart by sleeping with another woman, that never would have happened.

Dylan: Well, look, I'm not excusing what Billy did, but don't you think its better that Victoria knows the truth rather than living with a lie?

Stitch: Not necessarily. Some things people are better off not knowing.

Sharon: Go away. Leave me alone.

Cassie: I will. I just had to tell you that I'm sorry. I didn't mean for any of this to happen. I was just doing my job. I'm sorry.

Sharon: Doing your job? What job? What --?

Next on "The Young and the Restless"...

Jack: What are you doing here?

Kelly: I belong here. I work for Lily now.

Jill: You're a pig! Do you not have one sincere bone in your whole damn body?

Colin: As a matter of fact --

Jill: Oh, stop it.

Chelsea: Do you think there's a chance that Adam could still be alive?
