Michael: This family adores you, Chloe, and you have our love, our support, and our faith, and you have our Kevin. And none of us, especially his older brother, should ever underestimate his strength and his bravery and his heart. He will always be there to catch you if you fall, and your family will always be there to support both of you.
Esther: Don't get mad if I cry ugly.
Lauren: [Chuckling] Oh. So, to family and to love.
Michael: To family.
Kevin: Thank you, Guys.
[Glasses clinking]
Kevin: Thanks so much.
Michael: Wasn't it?
Esther: I'm so happy for you.
Michael: I'm the most excellent toaster, don't you think?
Lauren: You are. That was beautiful.
Michael: I meant every word of it. I did.
Chloe: You're here. You brought Connor. They -- they told you?
Chelsea: Told me what? I'm here for a business meeting. What's going on?
Jill: The records I'm looking for should be available under the freedom of information act. I went to your website, but I wouldn't -- oh, you can? Fabulous. Good. All right, well, I'm looking for background on two people who worked in U.S. Intelligence in London prior to the Second World War -- Rachel Berenson and Walter Shepherd. Well, tonight, if possible. No, no, no, I realize it's late, but it's vitally important. Good. Great. You can send it to me? All right. You have my e-mail. All right, and it's Jill Abbott Fenmore -- two B's, two T's. Great. Thank you.
Colin: Wrong, Dear. You're Mrs. Colin Atkinson. Now, it says so right there on the marriage license. Remember?
Abby: "GC's hottest couple goes house-hunting. Can wedding bells be far behind?"
Tyler: Man, what is with these bloggers? Get a life already.
Abby: And they hit the jackpot with me, since I'm an Abbott and a Newman.
Tyler: You do realize whoever was following us around had a telephoto lens, right?
Abby: Yeah, obviously someone tipped them off, told them where we'd be looking at places and when.
Both: Was it you?
Billy: You made a decision?
Victoria: Yes.
Billy: About what?
Victoria: I'm taking Johnny to D.C. to spend some time with Reed.
Billy: When?
Victoria: Tonight. I just talked to J.T. before you got back. He and Mac are expecting us.
Billy: Why now, all of a sudden? Where's this coming from?
Victoria: Every time I go out, I-I feel people staring at me. I feel people's eyes on me, okay? Feeling sorry for me. I just need to get away from that. I need to get out of town.
Billy: Vicki, since when have you cared about what other people think? Just say it. You're afraid to be close to me because you love me.
Jill: Our marriage license says "Colin Atkinson and Jill Abbott" -- no missus anything.
Colin: Oh, there's no point in getting testy about it. It's just my way of reminding you that we're in this endeavor side by side.
Jill: What endeavor? Our income taxes?
Colin: Looking for the lovely Rachel and her connection to a music box and perhaps a small fortune.
Jill: Or perhaps a few bucks at a flea market, if we're lucky.
Colin: I prefer to be optimistic.
Jill: I know you do. I prefer to be smart. Colin, this is a treasure hunt. It is a diversion -- nothing more.
Colin: If you say so.
Jill: Plus, I do not appreciate being spied on like that.
Colin: You mean, especially when you're doing this research on the side without me?
Jill: [Scoffs] Okay, since you're unable to let this go, I was on the phone with the National Archives, getting information on Walter and Rachel. And whatever I found, I was planning on sharing with you.
Colin: Of course you were.
Jill: Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! My computer. My e-mail.
Tyler: All right, come on. You think I'm so desperate for attention that I got to spread rumors about myself?
Abby: Well, if you didn't do it, and I didn't do it...
Tyler: Actually, the jury is still out on that one.
Abby: I beg your pardon?
Tyler: You got a history. I'm just saying.
Abby: Okay, I put the Naked Heiress to bed long ago, okay? I've been living life quietly ever since -- very quietly. I am practically a recluse. So do not look at me. I did not plant that item.
Tyler: All right, if you say so.
Abby: I say so.
[Both chuckle]
Leslie: I knew it. [Sighs] I knew it was just a matter of time. So you're really getting married, huh?
Abby: [Sighs]
Lauren: Kevin and Chloe got married. This is just our little family celebration.
Chelsea: Married? O-oh. The last I heard --
Kevin: Chloe's not gonna be going to Fairview. As her husband, I'm also her legal guardian, so she'll be doing her counseling as an outpatient.
Chelsea: The prosecutor told me that you avoided jail and the psych hospital, but I didn't realize why. Now I understand. This marriage is a way to scam the system?
Michael: Chelsea, it isn't just expedient. Kevin loves Chloe.
Esther: They love each other.
Chloe: I... [Chuckles] Look at him. He got so big.
Chelsea: Chloe.
Chloe: What? Can I not say hi to him?
Chelsea: Actually, you're not allowed to speak to him...or see him.
Victoria: I was planning to take the same trip on new year's, but then there was the big storm on the east coast, and my plane got grounded. You remember that? That was the same night that --
Billy: The -- the night that I was with Kelly, instead of meeting you at the airport as we planned. I assume this time I'm cordially not invited?
Victoria: I think it's probably best if Johnny and I just go.
Billy: Well, you know Reed is gonna wonder where I'm at. How are you gonna explain things to my stepson, huh? Are you even planning on coming back?
Victoria: Billy, I told you. I just need some time to think.
Billy: Yeah. 800 miles away. Are you sure it's far enough? I'm sorry. I-I just -- it just feels like it's coming out of nowhere.
Victoria: Look, if I wanted and was ready to end our marriage, I would have filed for divorce already.
Billy: A divorce?
Victoria: Yeah, I've considered it, okay?
Billy: Well, have you talked to a lawyer?
Victoria: I asked Avery to draw up papers. But we didn't. She saw how emotional I was, and she advised me to wait until I can think it -- think it through. I decided she was right, and that's why I'm not rushing into things right now.
Billy: Which includes rushing back to me. [Sighs] Well, I'm glad you didn't, you know, do anything rash.
Victoria: I think we just need a little time apart, you know? I think that would be good for both of us.
Billy: Look, Vicki, I know you have issues with the way I've handled things, like not being honest about seeing Kelly. I know I have to change your mind and prove to you that I'm a man you can trust.
Victoria: How do you propose to do that?
Billy: Well, for starters, I can tell you that I saw her again.
Jill: You are distracting me from my task, which ought to be beneficial for both of us.
Colin: Do the honors.
Jill: Okay.
[Keyboard clacking]
Colin: So, is this the information you requested?
Jill: Well, look for yourself. It just confirms everything we already know. Rachel was a translator for Katherine's father in U.S. intelligence before the war.
Colin: Uh, we -- we don't know whether this is the Rachel that popped up in the music box.
Jill: That would be a hell of a coincidence, wouldn't it?
Colin: Hell of a coincidence.
Jill: [Sighs]
Colin: But there's millions Rachels out there. I mean, let's not limit ourselves by excluding all of the possibilities -- the others, that is.
Jill: [Chuckles] I know what you're trying to do.
Colin: You do?
Jill: Yeah, you're trying to push me off the path so you can swoop in and get the treasure for yourself.
Colin: My dear, I-I truly wouldn't dream of that. But, look, there's all kinds of treasure. Let's not limit ourselves to the monetary type.
Jill: Oh, come on. As if you've ever been interested in any other kind.
Colin: You know better! I've been rich, and I've been poor, and, trust me, rich is better. But let's get back to Walter and Rachel. Pre-war London and how -- [Sighs] How romantic that must have been. Imagine -- whispered conversations on the bank of the River Thames, stolen moments in the Savoy Bar, dancing cheek-to-cheek in some ritzy, after-hours nightclub.
Jill: Hmm. So, what happens next?
Abby: I thought lawyers were all about the facts.
Tyler: Right, and since when do you believe everything that you read?
Abby: Yeah, especially from a cesspit like the GC Buzz.
Leslie: Oh, come on, you two. Is it really that big of a stretch?
Abby: Yes.
Tyler: You're damn straight.
Leslie: Okay, "Marriage" is not a dirty word.
Tyler: That's pretty interesting, coming from you.
Leslie: Well, I'm not against the institution for other people. I'm just not looking to be married myself. I told you you would get married before me, remember?
Tyler: [Groans]
Leslie: Once again, big sis knows best.
Tyler: Anyway, Abby and I -- we're not ready for that.
Abby: Unh-unh.
Tyler: All right? And we won't be till either one of us are 100% sure.
Abby: Make that 400%.
Tyler: Yeah. I made the mistake of a bad engagement before. Never again.
Chloe: Of course. I understand. I... [Sighs] I took him to Paris. Naturally, the judge would issue a restraining order to keep me from going near him.
Kevin: I-I don't remember the judge making that part of Chloe's release. Do you know anything about a restraining order?
Michael: It's the first I've heard of it.
Kevin: Can you talk to the judge and get him to see that Chloe is not a threat to Connor?
Lauren: You know what? Why -- why don't we just call it a night? We'll drive Esther home, and I think you should do the same with Chloe.
Esther: Try to get some rest, Sweetie. Things will look brighter in the morning, okay?
Chloe: Good night, Mom.
Esther: Good night, Baby. Mm. Love you.
Chloe: Bye.
Lauren: Night, Sweetheart.
Chloe: Thank you. Thanks for trying.
Kevin: You ready?
Chloe: Um, can you just give me a minute? Um, you've been such a good friend to me. I just want to ask you one more favor. Could you please talk to the judge and have him lift the restraining order?
Chelsea: I'm sorry, Chloe. I can't.
Chloe: Why?
Chelsea: Because I'm the one who asked for it.
Victoria: After you swore over and over that she meant nothing, you saw her. Why would you even do that?
Billy: Look --
Victoria: Why?
Billy: I took Johnny to the Crimson Lights. She happened to be there with your buddy Stitch.
Victoria: Oh, please, don't pretend like my relationship with Ben is anything like what you had with Kelly.
Billy: You kissed the guy!
Victoria: Yeah, because I was trying to get back at you. That's why.
Billy: Even so, I --
Victoria: What, are -- do you feel betrayed? Do you feel lied to? Because that's how I feel. And I didn't even sleep with him.
Billy: Look, if you're trying to make me feel lousy for telling you the truth, I --
Victoria: Listen to me. What you've been through is the worst thing that any parent could ever go through. But Delia was my stepdaughter, and I grieved her, too. But I tried to push some of that pain away so that I could be there for you.
Billy: I know --
Victoria: I tried really hard to comfort you, Billy, and I might be able to look past this one-night stand that you had with Kelly, but what I just am finding it impossible to forgive is that you rejected me. You rejected my love and my efforts to be there for you. Instead, you went into another woman's arms. And that's just a loss I just don't know if I'm ever, ever gonna be able to get over that.
Billy: Look...
Victoria: [Sighs]
Billy: ...If I could go back in time and take Dee Dee into that store with me and never meet Kelly, I would, but I-I can't.
Victoria: No, you can't! You can't.
Billy: Right, so the only thing I can do is to make it clear to Kelly that we will not be friends going forward, not if it puts my marriage at risk. I am telling you exactly how it happened, because the last time, I had this bright idea to spare your feelings. I was wrong not to tell you, Vicki, even if I was trying to hide or protect your feelings. And this time, I will not hide anything from you, especially how I feel about you. And if my words won't prove it, then maybe this will.
Victoria: Okay, listen, we can't do this. We can't. It's just -- it's too late. [Sighs] If you'd just been honest to begin with -- but you weren't. Billy, I know that you said you want to turn back the clock, but we can't do that.
Billy: What can I do to make you forgive me? How can I show you that I will never do that again?
Johnny: [Crying]
Victoria: Johnny needs me.
Colin: So, what would you like to see happen next?
Jill: I --
[Door opens]
Esther: Ah, thank you so much for the ride home.
Michael: Oh, it was my pleasure. Hey, Jill! Colin, hi.
Jill: What are you all doing here? Where'd you just come from?
Esther: Would you believe Chloe and Kevin's wedding reception?
Jill: What?! No, I would not believe it. I didn't even know they were dating again.
Michael: The situation was bizarre, to say the least.
Jill: Ah. Could it have anything to do with the kidnapping charges?
Michael: We made a plea deal with Christine.
Jill: Mm-hmm.
Michael: Probation and mandatory intensive therapy on an outpatient basis.
Lauren: Provided a family member takes responsibility.
Michael: Mm-hmm. And my little brother stepped up. A couple of "I dos" later, and, voilā, a new family member.
Colin: You know, people get married for all kinds of reasons, but love conquers all, eventually.
Jill: Esther, are you okay with all this?
Esther: Well, I-I understand that this was done for legal reasons, but -- but I'm really, truly hopeful for Chloe and Kevin's marriage, unlike another marriage I can think of. Well, it -- it's been a long day, so I'm gonna go to bed. Thank you again. Night.
Michael: Of course.
Lauren: Good night. Good night.
Michael: Hmm? Oh. I could use a drink, Colin.
Colin: Good idea.
Jill: [Chuckles]
Colin: I happen to have liberated this fine bottle of cognac from the Chancellor cellar. Come on.
Jill: [Chuckles]
Michael: Excuse us.
Jill: Surprise, surprise.
Lauren: [Chuckles] [Sighs] Ah. Okay. So, Esther may be a lot of things, but she's no fool.
Jill: Oh. Really? Well, we'll have to disagree on that one.
Lauren: [Chuckles] Okay, maybe. So, when are you gonna tell me the real reason -- the real reason you married that crook again? And, please, don't tell me love. Sex? I don't know. Maybe.
Jill: Oh, please. Who gets married for sex?
Lauren: This is not true love.
Jill: Well, you're right there. It wasn't hearts and flowers that made me say yes this time.
Lauren: [Sighing] Oh, finally. Then what on God's green earth possessed you to marry Colin?
Jill: Blackmail.
Chloe: I don't understand. I know what I did, but I thought that you had forgiven me. You didn't press charges, and you went to the court, and you made a statement on my behalf. So, is this because of Victor? I mean, is -- is this Victor's doing?
Kevin: Chloe. Chloe.
Chloe: No, I-I don't understand. I mean, did he threaten you? Did he say, "Cut her out," or what -- what, is he gonna make you look like an unfit mother so he can take Connor for himself?
Chelsea: No. There was a time I was worried Victor might do that, but he hasn't, and he swore he wouldn't.
Chloe: Okay, well, we all know what Victor Newman's promises are worth. Did you make sure he wasn't crossing his fingers behind his back?
Kevin: Easy, Chloe.
Chloe: No, I just want to understand why you're defending him. Have you forgotten what he was willing to do to keep you and Adam from taking off with his grandson?
Kevin: Okay, look, none of this is helping.
Chloe: No, you don't understand. I'm not going anywhere until Chelsea tells me what Victor is holding over her.
Chelsea: Victor had nothing to do with this. Neither did anybody else. I went there, and I filed the restraining order on my own to protect my son.
Chloe: From...?
Chelsea: From you!
Abby: Your mistake? I thought you said Mariah cheated on you.
Tyler: She did. [Sighs]
Abby: But?
Tyler: It's complicated.
Abby: What does that mean? What -- what kind of complications?
Leslie: Oh, goodness. Okay, listen, I didn't mean to start anything. I wish nothing but the best for you two, and if that happens to eventually include a couple wedding bands, I will be there. Just make sure you don't toss me the bouquet. [Chuckles]
Abby: Okay.
Leslie: Please? See ya.
Abby: Bye.
Leslie: Bye.
Abby: So, your engagement to Mariah -- what haven't you told me? Spill. Please.
Tyler: [Sighs]
Lauren: Okay. All right. So, in exchange for marrying the man...
Jill: Colin agreed to share a clue with me that he found inside the music box that Katherine left me.
Lauren: That's not blackmail. That's idiotic.
Jill: [Scoffs] Thanks.
Lauren: What, he just played on your mutual greed, and he didn't even have to force you into it?
Jill: Well, I didn't mention the chloroform and the handcuffs.
Lauren: What?
Jill: Nothing. I was just kidding. What he did was clarify my feelings about the music box, okay? And by the way, I don't think it's so damn greedy to expect a decent inheritance from that old woman.
Lauren: All right, you know, I-I'm not judging you.
Jill: Oh, really?
Lauren: Okay, I am judging you.
Jill: Mm.
Lauren: But after he came up with the name Rachel, how come you didn't divorce him or get an annulment?
Jill: I am choosing to stay married to him for practical reasons.
Lauren: Oh, I see. So you can learn the fine art of money laundering or contract killing?
Jill: Ha-ha-ha. If Katherine left me a treasure wrapped up in a mystery, I need him to help me unravel that mystery.
Lauren: Mm-hmm. And then he's just gonna clear you out and take off to parts unknown.
Jill: I know who Colin is, Lauren, and I know what he is. And, trust me, I am not sharing my inheritance with him.
Michael: Wow, you were right about this cognac.
Colin: [Sighs] Stunning, what?
Michael: Mmm. That is a lucky find. But then again, you are highly skilled at ferreting out treasures, I hear.
Colin: Jill told you about the music box.
Michael: Yeah. I'm the one who traced it to Switzerland, but, uh, that was as far as I got before the trail went cold.
Colin: Takes a certain talent to reheat things.
Michael: [Chuckles] I know all about your talents. I also know that when Katherine left that music box to Jill, she had no intention that you'd be involved.
Colin: Marriage changed a few things.
Michael: Some marriages are made in heaven, and some marriages are made in that dark, dank, fetid corner of the universe where motivations remain opaque.
Colin: Your point being, Michael?
Michael: My point is, provided you do locate Jill's inheritance, do you plan on sharing it with the lady or double-crossing her and keeping it all to yourself?
Jill: I'm gonna double-cross Colin.
Lauren: How?
Jill: As soon as I have the cash in my hand, I'm gonna be writing a check to a divorce lawyer, okay? And then I'll figure out some way to get him shipped back to Australia, preferably to prison, where he can't get his grubby hands on my inheritance.
Lauren: You sound awfully vehement.
Jill: I would think you'd be happy about that.
Lauren: No, because it is a classic sign.
Jill: Of what?
Lauren: You have deeper feelings for him than even you're willing to admit.
Jill: [Sighs]
Chloe: The restraining order was your idea? I thought you understood.
Chelsea: I do understand, but this isn't just about me or my feelings.
Chloe: So, you still think that I'm a threat to your baby? You still think that I'm a danger.
Kevin: Okay.
Chloe: I mean, what did you really think? Did you think that I was gonna take him, and I was gonna run off with him again?
Kevin: Listen, listen, why don't we have this conversation some other time?
Chloe: No, I really think that we need to have it right now. Can you please give Connor to Kevin so we can talk, or is he a threat, too?
Kevin: Okay. You want to go for a little walk? Okay. Let's go for a little walk. All right?
Chloe: Look, when I -- when I got on that plane with him, I was out of my mind with grief. I will never forgive myself for what I did to you, but I'm getting help. [Voice breaking] Okay? I'm -- I'm talking to a professional. And I have -- I have Kevin, and he's been a rock for me.
Chelsea: I'm glad to hear you talk that way, Chloe. I really am. But let's be honest. That's all it is so far -- talk. It's your actions that scare me. I mean, even the way you reacted when you saw Connor just now.
Chloe: But what -- what do you think -- what, did you think I was gonna come up and -- and -- and take him away from you? Can -- can I not look at that little boy and have feelings for him because has my daughter's eyes?
Chelsea: Okay, maybe Kevin was right. Maybe we should just deal with all of this a different time.
Chloe: No, when are we gonna have this talk? I mean, Chelsea, you came here, and you said that you were having a meeting, so what, are we not in business with each other anymore? I mean, I just -- I can't believe that my best friend and my partner would betray me like this.
Chelsea: Well, I can't believe my best friend and my partner would abduct my son!
Billy: [Sighs] How is Johnny? I -- was it a bad dream?
Victoria: Oh, no, he just woke up. He couldn't get back to sleep. He's kind of missing something.
Billy: Oh, well, uh, did you get him his blue doggy or that weird giraffe?
Victoria: No, that's not what he asked for. He wants his daddy.
Jill: [Scoffs] That is preposterous.
Lauren: Is it?
Jill: Yes, it is. I do not -- I repeat, not -- have any deep feelings where Colin is concerned, okay? No, I take that back. I loathe him. I loathe the ground he slithers on.
Lauren: Mm, and the more you protest, the more I know I'm right.
Jill: Oh. Well, think what you like. I can't stop you.
Lauren: And you know what? I can't tell what's more disturbing -- the fact that you've involved that crook in your search behind the meaning of Katherine's music box, or the fact that you're falling back in love with him again.
Jill: Oh, my God, listen to me, Little Sister. My eyes are open where he is concerned, okay? All right, I admit, I was attracted to that man once because, believe me, in the right light, he can be very, very attractive. But the truth is, he killed it for me a long time ago. So, my temporary husband is now no more than a means to an end.
Colin: If I was the sensitive type, I might take offense to this conversation.
Michael: [Chuckles] And yet, you will choose not to because you know it is a legitimate concern.
Colin: But I am -- I'm crazy about Jill. I would -- I would never do anything to swindle her.
Michael: "Never" as in, "Not today, but maybe next week"?
Colin: Oh, please, look --
Michael: Look, don't -- don't even [Chuckles] Try to defend yourself. My wife loves her sister very much. Therefore, what happens to Jill is very important to me, and I'm not just speaking as a brother-in-law. I am speaking as a former district attorney with friends in city hall and in prison, for that matter. Do we understand each other?
Colin: You don't have to sharpen your teeth on me, Counselor. [Sighs] Jill's well-being is my top priority. I'm looking forward to a lifetime of wedded bliss.
[Glasses clink]
Michael: [Chuckles]
Abby: So, how did you propose? Did you put something cute in a fortune cookie like, "Will you marry me?" Or a skywriter? Did you do the whole traditional down-on-one-knee thing?
Tyler: No, you know what? My knees are shot from playing sports in high school, so...
Abby: Oh, what about the ring? Did you get her a huge piece of ice or something cute and arty?
Tyler: I'm a guy, all right? I don't remember stuff like that.
Abby: Tyler, you're a designer. You totally pay attention to that stuff.
Tyler: All right, you know what I remember? It was round. Does that help?
Abby: Oh, what if we go to the jewelry store? Will you forget all about that?
Tyler: Baby, that's -- that's different, all right? It's different with you.
Abby: Different how?
Tyler: I did some things with Mariah that [Sighs] I really shouldn't have, and I just -- I want to forget about that part of my life.
Abby: Well, I didn't mean to upset you. I'm sorry that we even looked at this stupid blog today.
Tyler: Well, I'm not. And as for what it says, you know, when I am ready to pop the question, I promise you will be the first one to know.
Abby: Tyler, did you just hear yourself? You said, "When," not, "If."
Chelsea: I'm really glad you didn't have to go to prison or some...
Chloe: Institution? It's okay. You can say it. I thought I should have been there after what I did. Maybe I still should.
Chelsea: No. Not if you let yourself lean on Kevin and all the people that are on your side.
Chloe: I thought you were on my side, and I was on yours. What happened?
Chelsea: [Voice breaking] I wish I knew, Chloe. I honestly thought that I'd be your matron of honor, and you'd be mine.
Chloe: I felt that way, too. But neither of us managed it, did we?
Billy: I told Johnny a story. He's gonna be okay.
Victoria: You don't have to say anything, 'cause I know what you're thinking.
Billy: What am I thinking?
Victoria: You're thinking that Johnny and I can't leave, not when he needs you.
Billy: He's not the only one. When two people love each other, Vicki, like we do, they stay and fight through whatever it is that's come between them.
Victoria: This time. But what about the next time, Billy? And the time after that? You know, it just seems like we've been in this place before, on the brink of calling it quits, and promising each other that it's never gonna happen again, but it always does. Our marriage has been one crisis after another.
Billy: And we've always handled them, didn't we? We've always come back stronger because know we belong together. If you didn't love me so much, you wouldn't feel so betrayed, and you wouldn't have kissed me like that. But if you leave now, you're giving up on us.
Victoria: I have to start packing now.
Billy: Vicki, it doesn't have to be this way, okay? In a marriage -- in our marriage, any marriage -- people hurt each other, but if you can't forgive --
Victoria: Yeah, I know, okay? I know forgiveness comes with the territory. I think I've proven that many times. I have. And, you know, even if I could find some way to forgive you this time, there's the trust. The trust -- that's something else, Billy.
Billy: Right, and I know I have to earn it, and that takes time, but I can't even start if you're not here, if you walk away from what we mean to each other.
Michael: All right, Ladies, come up for air. Have you had a delightful conversation?
Lauren: Oh, yes.
Jill: Mm-hmm.
Lauren: Yes, it was so revealing.
Jill: [Scoffs]
Lauren: And how was your conversation with Colin?
Michael: Uh, ditto.
Colin: Right.
Lauren: Good. Oh, that's so nice. You know, it's really late. We should get going.
Jill: Okay.
Lauren: Ooh. Take care of yourself.
Jill: I will.
Michael: Sister.
Jill: Ah, Brother.
Michael: Mwah!
Jill: Mwah! [Chuckles]
Michael: [Chuckles]
Lauren: What's funny?
Michael: Well, I'm just marveling at the fact that even after everything we've been through, we are currently the only happily married couple that we know.
Lauren: Oh, Dear.
Michael: I think that deserves a kiss.
Lauren: It does. Okay, let's go.
Michael: [Inhales deeply] All right.
Colin: My ears were burning the entire time I was out of the room.
Jill: Were they?
Colin: I can only imagine the unflattering way that Lauren has portrayed me.
Jill: [Chuckles] Well, you can console yourself with the knowledge that she would have said it all to your face if you'd been here. My sister is concerned about me, that's all. She's afraid that, on some sick level, you and I actually... care for o another.
Colin: What's sick about that? You know...I think... your sister knows you better than you know yourself.
Esther: Oh, have either of you seen my big clippers? I think I've got an ingrown toenail. Gosh. Ugh.
Tyler: [Smooches] Are you scared?
Abby: A little. You?
Tyler: A little. [Chuckles] You know, maybe we should get out of here and go do what we do best.
Abby: Mm. I like that, but there's one problem -- privacy. We still haven't found a place of our own.
Tyler: [Sighs] That's too bad. I guess we're gonna have to find another romantic hotel, huh?
Abby: Ooh! Let's go. Hey. You were totally pulling my leg about Mariah, about the ring. You remember. At least tell me the stone. Was it round? Oval? Princess cut?
Tyler: It was just a ring. She probably hocked the thing, you know? Saving up money to start a new life somewhere -- hopefully somewhere far, far away.
Abby: Yes.
Chelsea: [Sighs] I won't let anyone hurt you, Connor... [Smooches] ...Or take you from me ever again. [Sniffles] It's you and me now, Sweetheart... until daddy comes home.
Kevin: Well, it has been a very long day. What do you say we get to bed?
Chloe: No, Kevin, I --
Kevin: Chloe... [Sighs]
Chloe: I just -- just making sure, because when you proposed, I was very clear.
Kevin: That's not what I meant. I meant, we could go to bed. I could hold you and help you fall asleep, like I used to. That's all.
Chloe: I'm sorry. I'm just not ready.
Kevin: Okay. That's all right. We'll just take it one day at a time, yeah?
Chloe: [Sighs] Thank you.
Billy: You driving yourself to the airport?
Victoria: No, we have a car waiting for us.
Billy: Please don't do this, Vicki.
Victoria: [Sighs]
Billy: Don't go.
Victoria: Just know that whatever decision I ultimately make, that Johnny's always gonna be in your life, all right?
Billy: But will you? And when will you be back?
Victoria: Don't worry. I'm not gonna keep Johnny away from his father for very long.
Billy: An hour is too long, a minute.
Victoria: I'm gonna take this bag out to the car and come back for Johnny.
Billy: At least let me take your suitcase out.
Victoria: Thank you. [Sighs]
Next on "The Young and the Restless"...
Kelly: You should be worried, 'cause you wouldn't have any friends if they knew what you were capable of.
Cassie: You told me to use "Whatever means necessary." That deserves a bump in pay.
Paul: I didn't mention anything to Nikki about what Ian said. I think that's best.
Nikki: Why don't you let me decide that?
