Cassie: So this is what it's like to be the 1% of the 1%.
Victor: Excuse me. What are you doing here?
Cassie: Don't worry. Nobody saw me.
Victor: Better be sure no one saw you. Your resemblance to my granddaughter is absolutely uncanny. If anyone had seen you and knew her --
Cassie: They'd be as freaked out as you were?
Victor: Yeah. How'd you get past security?
Cassie: [Scoffs] You think that's the first time I've gotten past a security guard?
Victor: I'm sure it isn't. Wow. You may look like my granddaughter, but you're not anything like her.
Cassie: Sounds like a real drag.
Victor: A very sweet girl. So, do you have any news for me?
Cassie: Yeah, as a matter of fact, I do. If you want someone to figure out what your son's ex-wife is keeping from him, you're gonna have to get somebody else to do it, 'cause I'm out.
[Knock on door]
Abby: Ah! You are here!
Jack: Oh, yeah. Burning the midnight oil.
Abby: Oh, it's becoming a habit, and not a good one.
Jack: I disagree. With everything that's going on, all the turmoil, work is comforting. So, if you're here to give me a lecture...
Abby: No. No lectures. I just heard about the Jabot fashion show at the Athletic Club.
Jack: Oh. That was Lily's idea.
Abby: Oh. That explains it. Her brilliant ideas always spark one for me, like cross-promoting Jabot's new fall lipstick colors at the fashion show.
Jack: That is a brilliant idea.
Abby: Yeah, we can set up booths and do makeovers. We can give out gift bags with Jabot products. We could have a huge giveaway, like a trip to Paris.
Jack: How about a trip to Paris for two?
Abby: Do we have the budget for that?
Jack: I can approve the expenditure myself.
Abby: What has gotten into you?
Jack: My faith in true love has been restored.
Abby: You met someone?
Jack: No, I'm talking about Billy and Victoria. It looks like everything's gonna work out for them.
Billy: Oh, wow. That shower felt great. Man, I'm starving. I could eat a proverbial horse.
Victoria: Get out.
Billy: What?
Victoria: I said get out!
Billy: Vicki, what happened? I mean, when I went up to take a shower, you said you were willing to work on our marriage.
Victoria: I was.
Billy: Now you're kicking me out? It was just a shower.
Victoria: Billy.
Billy: Vick, I thought we were okay.
Victoria: No, we're not okay!
Lily: Kelly, hey. Have you seen Cane?
Kelly: Uh, no. Sorry.
Lily: That's okay. I just had some ideas for the fashion show I wanted to run by him.
Kelly: Oh. You know, I heard some waiters talking about that fashion show. Sounds exciting.
Lily: Yeah, it should be. I hope it helps to boost business, so... actually, maybe I can run my ideas by you.
Kelly: I don't know much about fashion shows.
Lily: No, no, no. This is about the fundraiser, which is right up your alley. I was hoping I could get some names for, uh, some foundation heads I can invite to the fashion show?
Kelly: Uh, I'm sorry. I wish I could help you, but I quit my job at GC Cares.
Lily: What? You loved working there.
Kelly: Yes, I did. I just thought it was best to leave, for a lot of reasons.
Lily: Oh. Was one of them Billy?
Victoria: Are you just gonna pretend like you don't know why I'm upset?
Billy: I don't.
Victoria: You're just gonna keep lying to me?
Billy: Victoria, I have no idea what you're talking about.
Victoria: Oh, really? Okay. You want to play it that way? Okay. [Sighs] Listen.
Kelly: Hey, Billy, it's me. I wanted to let you know I'm off the Delia project. I figured that would be best for everyone. I also wanted to thank you for yesterday, for meeting me in the park -- it was great -- and for leaving me with hope for the future. I hope you're doing well. Bye.
Victoria: That's what you did.
Billy: Vicki, I can explain.
Victoria: You know what? There is no explanation, all right, Billy? You promised me that you would never see her again.
Billy: And I'm not.
Victoria: But you did yesterday in the park!
Billy: Yes, but it's not what you think!
Victoria: [Voice breaking] You don't want to know what I'm thinking right now!
Billy: Okay, okay. I should have told you, all right?
Victoria: Maybe should have told me? You think, Billy?
Billy: All right, I should have!
Victoria: Well, how did this whole thing come about, anyway? Did you call her? Did she call you?
Billy: It doesn't matter.
Victoria: It does matter! It does! I deserve to know! I want to know!
Billy: All right, Kelly asked me to meet her.
Victoria: Oh! Right! Right. And naturally you said yes.
Billy: Yes.
Victoria: When exactly was that? Before or after you swore to me that she was out of your life forever?
Abby: Billy and Victoria working things out? That is the best news you could have given me.
Jack: For a while there, I wasn't so sure. You know, a lot of marriages do not survive the death of a child.
Abby: Oh, especially when a home-wrecking slut comes into the picture.
Jack: Wow. That's a little harsh.
Abby: The home-wrecking part or the slut part?
Jack: The whole thing.
Abby: Okay, considering what Kelly did to Billy and Victoria, and how about Johnny? Divorce is hard enough on kids, but having to go back and forth between houses and choosing sides when your parents are fighting?
Jack: I know it was difficult for you.
Abby: Any person who willfully puts a child through that is scum in my book.
Jack: I'm sure Kelly did not intend to hurt Johnny. Remember, she lost a son of her own.
Abby: Oh, come on. That is no excuse for seducing someone else's husband.
Jack: Whoa, whoa, whoa, Tiger. Pull back the claws. Billy is a big boy. Kelly didn't cast a spell over him.
Abby: I wouldn't be so sure. She has "Witch" written all over her.
Jack: She seems like a perfectly nice person.
Abby: How would you know?
Jack: She came here to see me.
Abby: Ah. Is she after you, too?
Jack: She wanted me to know that she regrets what happened.
Abby: Well, it's a little too late for that.
Jack: And that she has no intention of coming between Billy and Victoria again.
Abby: And you believe that hoochie mama?
Kelly: I thought it was best under the circumstances to quit my job at GC Cares, distance myself from Delia's foundation.
Lily: I think that was a good decision.
Kelly: Lily, I never meant to hurt Victoria or Billy.
Lily: I know. I understand. You know, you went through a lot. I can't even imagine the pain that you went through losing a son. I wish there was something I could do to help.
Kelly: Actually, there is.
Lily: What is it?
Kelly: No surprisingly, I am not the most popular person in town, and yet you, on the other hand, seem to be really well-liked.
Lily: What? [Laughs] I don't know about that one.
Kelly: Oh, come on. It was obvious when we worked together at the Delia foundation fundraiser that people really admire you.
Lily: Well, I think they would love anybody who helped to raise money in Delia's honor. I mean...
Kelly: Maybe, but you're about the only person who's shown me compassion since the, um -- how do we say it? -- My public humiliation?
Lily: Oh, please. We've all made mistakes. I can see that you're a really good person.
Kelly: Thank you. I like to think that I was once. And that's why I want to talk to you about getting my life back on track.
Victor: You and I have an agreement.
Cassie: Yeah, I find out the secret your son's nasty ex-wife is keeping from him, and you give me a big bag of money.
Victor: Something like that.
Cassie: Look, I did everything I could to find out the secret Blondie is keeping. But she's not giving it up. So I'm gonna take what you've given me so far, and we'll call it even. Do you mind?
Victor: No. Go ahead.
Cassie: Thanks. [Sighs]
Victor: You're quite a character.
Cassie: I've been called worse.
Victor: [Laughs] I'm sure you have. I'm sure you have. I like you.
Cassie: I know. I remind you of your dear dead granddaughter.
Victor: The resemblance is absolutely uncanny. I mean, you look the way that I assume she would have looked like had she were alive. Maybe she even had your kind of spunk.
Cassie: Yeah, well, sometimes spunk is not enough.
Victor: You've encountered some disappointing situations in life? Is that it?
Cassie: You've tried this before. I'm not telling you why I came to Genoa City, but I can tell you it wasn't to do your dirty work.
Victor: You came here to do some business on your own. Is that it?
Cassie: Unfortunately, it didn't work out the way that I'd hoped.
Victor: Well, I'm sorry about that.
Cassie: Look, I'm not here for your sympathy. I'm just here to give you this and let you know that I am checking out of Genoa City. It's been real.
Victor: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. One second. I guess I didn't make myself perfectly clear, now, did I?
Nick: [Sighs]
Sharon: Nick, are you sure?
Nick: I know this feels -- it feels good and right. Wait. Wait a second. Unless you're not.
Sharon: I am. I'm sure.
Cassie: Am I supposed to be scared?
Victor: No. But I think you're too smart to cross me.
Cassie: Maybe I'm smart enough to get away with it.
Victor: You're willing to take that risk?
Cassie: Let's say I am. What are you gonna do to prevent me from walking out that door? Adios.
Victor: I know what happened to you in Portland. I could have you in jail before you take one foot out of Genoa City. You know that to be true, don't you?
Jack: Hoochie mama? That word actually came out of your mouth?
Abby: I call them like I see them, Uncle Jack.
Jack: Says the former Naked Heiress.
Abby: Oh, that was an act.
Jack: A pretty bold act.
Abby: It was way more smoke than it was fire, and I never burned another woman by sleeping with her husband.
Jack: Okay, you don't have to look far for people in your life who have crossed that line. You could start with your own family.
Abby: Are you talking about Mom? How could you possibly compare Mom --
Jack: Whoa, whoa, whoa. When did you become the morality police?
Abby: I just think that -- that people shouldn't mess with other people's relationships or committed relationships or marriages.
Jack: Are we talking about Billy and Victoria here or you and Tyler?
Abby: [Sighs] I just don't want what happened to Mom to happen to me.
Jack: Your mom went through a great deal of heartache.
Abby: Every time she thought she found the one, the guy was right out the door.
Jack: Sweetheart... [Sighs]
Abby: Listen, I'm not judging Mom. I just -- I want something different, something that lasts.
Jack: Something that lasts. Yeah, we all do.
Victoria: Tell me, Billy. When did you and Kelly meet, if it was all so innocent, huh?
Billy: Fine. You really want to know? It was yesterday, when you went back to the gym for the second time to work out. You remember? 'Cause you needed the exercise, made you feel good?
Victoria: Yeah, I remember.
Billy: Yeah, I guess exercise meant kissing Stitch, because that's what you were doing while I was at the park talking to Kelly.
Victoria: I kissed Stitch because I wanted to hurt you, but I told you about it because I love you.
Billy: And that is exactly why I didn't, because I knew you would freak out, and I didn't want to hurt you any more than I already have!
Victoria: Oh, I see! So, in an effort not to hurt me, you opted not to tell me about your meeting with Kelly, but -- but -- but have sex with me instead.
Billy: No!
Victoria: Because that's your fall-back position. After you've been with her, just go straight to bed with me, right?
Singer: This tide has tossed me all around and these waves are crashing up and down, and I cannot swim through all this mess no, I need your hope need your tenderness, because you're my one and only you're my only friend you're my one and only you are my beginning and my end yeah I'm finally washed onto that shore and I'm beaten and broken like so many times before ell, I look to love to point the way, and I'll hang on all those words you say
Cassie: I have got as much on you as you do on me.
Victor: You think so?
Cassie: I wonder how your son would feel about our little arrangement.
Victor: You better not go down that road, okay? It never ends well.
Cassie: Even if I stay, I don't know how I'm gonna get Sharon to spill this stupid secret of hers.
Victor: I am certain you can find a way to get her to open up.
Cassie: She's more freaked out every time I see her. It's very hard to have a rational conversation with a --
Victor: Then if you cannot get the secret out of her, then you go to her house, rummage around, find out what the secret is. Perhaps you can find out there.
Cassie: I don't think that this is gonna work.
Victor: I think you get my drift.
Nick: Wow, am I glad Faith is staying the night at Zoë's.
Sharon: [Chuckles] Yeah, me too.
Nick: I wouldn't want her to walk in and get the wrong idea. I mean, not that it's... you know.
Sharon: Um... I know what you mean. I mean, don't get me wrong. I'm not making plans for our future, but... this was really nice.
Nick: It was. I've been thinking about this for a while now. [Chuckles]
Sharon: I've been thinking about this for so long. I just -- I never knew if it would happen. I didn't know if it should.
Nick: Yeah, I know what you mean. Not that I didn't want to. But it's... it's complicated, and I didn't want to see you get hurt.
Sharon: I didn't want to see you get hurt.
Nick: I've been coming up with reasons for us not to do this.
Sharon: That's a long list. But I'm feeling so much stronger now than I have in a long time thanks to my new meds and to you.
Nick: That was all you. You did all the hard work. But I'm glad if I can help. God, lying here with you, it just feels uncomplicated, feels simple and right. I mean, I'm with the person who I know better than anyone in this world, the one who knows me best.
Sharon: I feel closer to you than I have to anyone right now.
Nick: I mean, I-I can't believe it. I didn't think we'd have a moment like this. Open. Honest. Feels good.
Abby: I'm sorry, Uncle Jack. I didn't mean to bring you down.
Jack: No, you didn't.
Abby: I made you think of Phyllis.
Jack: I'm always thinking of Phyllis.
Abby: How's she doing?
Jack: No change. Listen, I-I got a lot of work to do. You should be thinking about the fashion show. You know, if you need any help in deciding what products are gonna go in the bag, just let me know.
Abby: Uncle Jack.
Jack: Yeah?
Abby: Will there ever be any change?
Kelly: So, here is my plan. I was thinking about getting back into teaching.
Lily: That's great. Yeah. I mean, if -- if you're ready.
Kelly: Yeah? Well, I probably couldn't get a full-time teaching job until the fall, but I thought maybe I would get into substitute work.
Lily: Yeah, that'd be a good way to ease back into it.
Kelly: [Sighing] Yeah. You know, after Sam died, just the thought of being around other kids... but I think I'm ready now. And you actually helped me realize that. You, Mattie, and Charlie.
Lily: What did we do?
Kelly: Well, you remember a few weeks ago when I helped keep the kids busy while you were working?
Lily: Oh, yeah, yeah. You were great with them.
Kelly: Well, uh, Mattie and Charlie helped me remember how much I love teaching and how much I miss it.
Lily: That's great. I actually have a friend who works in the school board. I can call her and see if she can help you out. I mean, they're always looking for good teachers.
Kelly: Really?
Lily: Mm-hmm.
Kelly: Great. Thanks.
Lily: Yeah.
Kelly: Hopefully, um, my reputation doesn't precede me.
Lily: Please. Five scandals have come and gone since news about you and Billy came out.
Kelly: Yeah, but nothing this fresh or close to home.
Lily: No, I would not worry about PTA gossip, okay? You and Billy, it was a one-night thing. It's over.
Kelly: Yeah. Definitely. But I do hope that one day Billy and I can be friends again, you know? Get back to the way things were before everything went wrong.
Billy: Victoria, I did not have sex with you because I feel guilty. I don't have anything to feel guilty about.
Victoria: You just said goodbye to Kelly?
Billy: Yes!
Victoria: You know, you still haven't explained to me why you felt you needed to do that.
Billy: I wanted to make sure that she understood that what happened between us could never happen again!
Victoria: [Chuckles] You must think that I am a complete idiot.
Billy: Why would you say that?!
Victoria: Did you listen to her message? She said that you gave her hope for the future. What did you say to her?
Billy: Kelly has gone through a lot.
Victoria: What did you say to her?!
Billy: She asked me if we could still be friends!
Victoria: Oh, I see. Okay. And you said yes.
Billy: No, I didn't! But I... [Sighs] I didn't tell her that we couldn't, either.
Victoria: So she wasn't lying. She wasn't imagining things at all.
Billy: Victoria, I can't just cut her off.
Victoria: Why not? Why can't you cut her off?
Billy: Because I cannot hurt her feelings!
Victoria: Her feelings?! Since when are her feelings more important than mine?!
Billy: Our meeting was nothing.
Victoria: One lie after the other.
Billy: Victoria, why are you making this into something that it isn't?! Let it go!
Victoria: Let it go? And what? And pretend that it didn't happen? Pretend that you didn't sleep with her, that you didn't run off to meet her again? You just expect me to turn my head and let you cheat on me over and over again and then just come here and expect me to have sex with you?
Billy: Victoria, look, I --
Victoria: Don't touch me!
Billy: I need you to listen to me, please.
Victoria: I can't. I can't listen to you anymore, okay? I can barely even stand to look at you. I just want you to go.
Billy: No, I'm not -- I'm not leaving you.
Victoria: Okay, fine, then I'm going. I'm gonna go.
Billy: Wait, Victoria, please. Look, okay, I will do anything. Please just tell me how to fix this. We'll -- we'll go to counseling. We'll -- we'll go to marriage group.
Victoria: Group counseling really worked well for us the last time, Billy.
Billy: We will get our own therapist!
Victoria: No, I can't! I need some time, and I need some space. If you care about me at all, you're just gonna give that to me, okay? Please.
Billy: Okay. Fine. I... we're not done with this.
Victoria: [Sobs]
Lily: Okay, so I left Allison a message, and when she gets back to me, I'll let you know.
Kelly: Ah! Thank you so much.
Lily: Yeah, I hope it leads to a teaching job for you.
Kelly: Well, I'm feeling a little guilty. I should let you get back to your job.
Lily: Yeah, you're right. I should get to work on the fashion-show guest list. Oh! I just had a great idea.
Kelly: You did?
Lily: Mm-hmm.
Kelly: For the fashion show?
Lily: Well, kind of. It's about somebody that I want to invite. He's smart, good-looking, and totally available.
Kelly: Uh, you lost me. Why would that ma-- I know -- I kn-- look at you.
Lily: [Laughs]
Kelly: You're playing matchmaker again.
Lily: Come on. I know the last guy was a total bust, but --
Kelly: A total bust?
Lily: Listen, Dr. Klein is perfect for you. He's perfect.
Kelly: I'm just -- I don't want to meet anyone again.
Lily: Well, a few weeks ago you didn't want to teach again, so...
Kelly: That's different.
Lily: No, it's not. You want to reclaim your life, right?
Kelly: I do.
Lily: Okay, then reclaim all of it. Let me set you up with my friend.
Jack: Whoever said time heals all wounds never waited for someone to come out of a coma.
Abby: Uncle Jack.
Jack: Every day that Phyllis doesn't wake up hurts. And you ask me why I hang in there, why I continue to hope. You and Ashley and Traci --
Abby: We're worried about you.
Jack: I know you say that, but truth is, you're frustrated, exasperated. In the absence of any change in Phyllis' condition, you wonder how I can keep hoping that she's gonna get better.
Abby: What if she doesn't?
Jack: Abby, Phyllis never gave up on a fight. Never. She's not gonna start now.
Abby: She may not have a choice. But you do, Uncle Jack. You can move on with your life.
Jack: Not without Phyllis.
Abby: Do you think that she'd want you to just sit around here and wait for her when you could go out there and find someone that makes you happy?
Jack: [Laughs] Phyllis? Yeah. Absolutely. If I couldn't be happy with her, she would want me to be miserable.
[Both laugh]
Jack: [Sighs]
Nick: You okay?
Sharon: Mm-hmm. I was just thinking.
Nick: About what?
Sharon: That we worked up an appetite, and, um... I'm gonna get us some snacks.
Nick: All right. Sounds good. How about some whipped cream or honey?
Sharon: [Laughs] I'll see what I can find. [Gasps] Cassie. [Sighs] No, no, no, no, no. This can't be happening. The meds are working. They're working, they're working, they're working. Is it because I made love to Nick? Is that why you're here?
Cassie: Why would that make me come back?
Sharon: [Sighs] You know.
Cassie: Did you tell him the secret?
Sharon: No, Cassie, I can't. It would ruin everything, especially right now. We've gotten so close, closer than we've been since... since you died. If I told him, it would ruin everything. Phyllis is the only one who knows, and she can't tell anyone.
Cassie: Phyllis. Right. Well, if you can't tell Dad your secret, tell me. It'll make you feel better. You've got to share your secret with somebody, mom.
Sharon: What are you talking about? I already told you.
Abby: I cross my heart. No more interfering in your life. Until the next time I do.
Jack: You're wasting your time. You're not gonna change my mind.
Abby: Don't tell Mom or Aunt Traci I said so, but I understand.
Jack: Thanks. And the next time you have this overwhelming need to manage someone else's life, focus on your half-sister. Get Victoria to forgive Billy for this whole Kelly mess and get beyond it.
Abby: Or I could run that tramp out of town.
Jack: I just love that you're not judgmental.
Abby: [Laughs] No, I have made up my mind. I'm staying out of this one.
Jack: You? Staying out of somebody else's romance?
Abby: You know what? You are right. I forgot that there's something I need to do. But I will talk to you later, okay?
Jack: Yeah.
Abby: Hey, and, uh...
[Door opens]
Abby: Uncle Jack? Think about what I said. The perfect woman could be out there waiting for you.
Jack: Close the door.
[Door closes]
Kelly: I'm really not ready to meet anybody.
Lily: Come on. Dr. Klein's amazing. He's single, he has George Clooney looks. You know, I mean, Clooneyish. And his -- his practice is thriving. His waiting room is always packed.
Kelly: You know, I'm not crazy about doctors these days.
Lily: What?
Kelly: Is he a surgeon?
Lily: No, he's a dentist. Pediatric. You should see him with Mattie and Charlie. He's so sweet.
Kelly: It's hard to resist a guy who likes kids.
Lily: I know! So come on! Come to the fashion show and meet him.
Kelly: No, I don't know.
Lily: Come on. It can't hurt. Is that what you're afraid of? Being hurt? Or is this about Billy?
Kelly: Okay.
Lily: I'm just saying. I just -- I get the feeling that you might still be hung up on him.
Kelly: No, Billy and I, we -- we have a connection. We will always have a connection. But it's not the way you're thinking.
Lily: Well, would you like that kind of relationship with someone else?
Kelly: Sure. Someday.
Jack: Really? No change at all? No, I-I know. If there is any change, of course you'll give me a call. Yeah. Thanks, Clare. I'll call again tomorrow.
[Door opens, closes]
Jack: Hey. You look... Billy, why are you here?
Billy: Can I stay at your place tonight?
Sharon: If I told him, it would ruin everything. What are you talking about? I already told you.
Cassie: Yes, you told me your secret.
Sharon: Then why did you just ask me?
Cassie: Because I know deep down, you -- you want to tell Dad, and it might help if you practice saying it out loud to me.
Sharon: Why did you do it? The -- the tiles on the game, on the table. They spelled "Phantasm."
Cassie: What?
Sharon: And the photos all over the house? Why are you tormenting me like this? Cassie, why did you change all of a sudden? Why? Wh-- [Gasps] I can feel you. I'm not imagining this.
Cassie: Mom, get a hold of yourself.
Sharon: You're real.
Cassie: Get a hold of yourself, okay?
Sharon: You really are here. Wait a minute.
Cassie: Mom.
Sharon: Uh, you're here.
Cassie: You've got to let go.
Sharon: No.
Cassie: Let go!
Sharon: Nick! Nick! [Gasps]
[Door closes]
Nick: Sharon? Sharon? Hey! Sharon. Sharon? Can you hear me? Sharon?
[Victor remembering]
Dr. Watkins: It was a challenging case. I was surprised when she switched to another doctor. I thought we were making progress. I diagnosed her with bipolar and prescribed an anti-psychotic. She was working through her issues, but there was one issue that she could just never let go of. She lost her daughter in a tragic car accident. Girl was only 14, but her daughter's death isn't what really haunted her. It was what happened afterward. Her marriage fell apart. She lost her husband, her family. Now, she and her husband had been together since they were -- they were teenagers. She became obsessed with getting him back to the point where she began to exhibit some very destructive behavior. She felt safe and admitted some of it to me, but there was always something that she could never bring herself to confess. All she'd ever tell me was that she'd manipulated a situation and done something extremely hurtful to her ex-husband. I urged her to be honest with her husband, but... she was just afraid. She was afraid that if he found out, she'd lose any chance of getting him back again.
Sharon: She was here.
Nick: Okay. Come here. You hit your head when you fell. I want you to sit down.
Sharon: [Sighs] Nick, I saw her.
Nick: Who?
Sharon: Cassie.
Nick: Okay. Sharon.
Sharon: I touched her.
Nick: All right. Take a sip of this.
Sharon: Nick, I'm not crazy. I really saw her.
Nick: This is my fault.
Sharon: What are you talking about?
Nick: Because we were together. It was too much for you.
Sharon: No, it wasn't.
Nick: Sharon, it's just too much for you to handle right now. I mean, I shouldn't have, but it...it felt right.
Sharon: It was right.
Nick: But look at you. The last thing I ever wanted to do was hurt you.
Sharon: You haven't.
Nick: I-I shouldn't have...
Sharon: Nick, my seeing Cassie has nothing to do with what you've done. [Voice breaking] It has to do with what I've done.
Nick: Come here.
Jack: Why would you do that? What were you thinking?
Billy: I didn't want to hurt Vicki.
Jack: Then you shouldn't have met with Kelly. You've got to stay away from her, Billy.
Billy: And how am I supposed to do that? She lives here! We go to the same support group! We know some of the same people! We're gonna run into each other!
Jack: You could avoid her if you wanted to.
Billy: Kelly and I have a connection. Maybe because we both lost kids. I don't know. But I can't pretend it's not there!
Jack: This may be about bonding over grief for you. It's a lot more than that for Kelly.
Billy: What am I gonna do?
Jack: [Sighs] Stay with me tonight. Let's give Victoria a chance, a little time to cool down.
Billy: Yeah, she's gonna need a lot more than a little time.
Abby: Guaranteed to fix any marital problems.
Victoria: Not mine.
Abby: Trust me! Put that little number on, and Billy will forget all about k-- everything that's been standing in the way of you two connecting.
Victoria: It won't work, Abby.
Abby: You're forgetting how healing makeup sex can be.
Victoria: It's not gonna cure what's wrong between Billy and me.
Abby: Sure it can.
Victoria: Abby! My marriage is falling apart!
Jack: Go to the house. Get a good night's sleep. Things will look better in the morning.
Billy: That's what my marriage needs. Cold light of day.
Jack: Hey, hang in there.
Billy: Thanks.
[Door closes]
Jack: [Sighs]
Kelly: Hello?
Jack: Kelly, Jack Abbott.
Kelly: Uh, hey, Jack. What can I do for you?
Jack: I was hoping you might be free for lunch tomorrow.
Kelly: If this is about the Delia project, I already told you that I'm no longer involved.
