Episode # 10354 ~ Tensions build between Billy & Victoria; Colin & Jill play a game of cat & mouse.
Provided By Suzanne
[Indistinct conversation]
Lily: Hey! It's official? No more paperwork? You're done? You're out?
Cane: I'm done.
Lily: Ohh! You guys, daddy gets to go home!
Charlie: Daddy!
Mattie: He's here! He's here!
Cane: Hey. Hey.
Lily: Hey, be careful. Daddy's still very sore.
Cane: No, I'm okay. Daddy's okay. Remember? I'm a superhero.
Lily: Yeah, you're a superhero who needs to rest, okay? You're in no condition to leap over tall buildings or go through the city, huh?
Cane: Hey, my condition's fine. Daddy's very lucky, okay? So, let's get out of here before that nurse wants to put daddy in a wheelchair and pull me to the car. Hey, guys, clean up your stuff first, okay?
Lily: Thank you. Hey. I was thinking...
Cane: Yeah?
Lily: I think it's time for us to hang up our capes, because last night -- it was a close call, and if it hadn't been for Colin --
Colin: Always happy to assist.
Cane: Of course you are, 'cause nothing makes you happier than having somebody owe you, huh?
Jill: Hey, you. How you feeling?
Billy: Mom? Where's Victoria?
Victoria: I'm right here. [Sighs] I'm so relieved you're okay.
Jack: Hey, hey, hey. Take it easy. After last night, you're gonna be sore for a while.
Billy: Why? What happened?
Victoria: You don't remember?
Billy: It's all a bit hazy.
Lauren: Honey. Hi. Ohh. Oh, babe.
Michael: [Sighs] Is it ever good to see your face again.
Lauren: [Chuckles] Yours, too. I just love this face.
Michael: Did you get a statement?
Lauren: Uh, yeah -- not a coherent one. It was very chaotic.
Michael: Look, I took the first plane back after Fenmore called. I should have been there. I am sorry. [Sighs] You okay?
Lauren: Yeah. I'm fine.
Michael: Really?
Lauren: Well, you know, I've been held hostage so many times, it's just so old hat.
Michael: Lauren?
Lauren: [Chuckles] I know what you mean. I know that look. But, no -- I'm fine. No signs of post-traumatic stress.
Michael: All right. That's good to hear.
Lauren: Mm-hmm. It's awfully good to see you. So glad you're back.
Michael: I am sorry. I should have been in that ballroom with you.
Lauren: You know what? I actually think it's better that you weren't because you would have done something. You would have tried to stop Womack, and [Sighs] That's what Billy did, and he wound up fighting for every breath.
Michael: Is he okay?
Lauren: He's got some broken ribs and, you know, some bruises. Physically, he's gonna heal, but... after last night, I'm not sure his marriage will ever be the same.
Stitch: Oh, hey. There you are.
Kelly: Me?
Stitch: Yeah. I caught you on the news coming from the athletic club. Some guy actually held the whole place hostage?
Kelly: Yeah. The fundraiser for the Delia project -- there were like a dozen of us trapped in there.
Stitch: Sounds terrifying.
Kelly: It was, especially at the end, when the guy started roughing up people.
Stitch: Have you seen a doctor yet?
Kelly: I don't need one.
Stitch: You may think you don't.
Kelly: I'm not hurt, Ben. Other people are, though. And it's all my fault.
Victoria: Hazy? Meaning you don't remember anything at all?
Billy: No, not much.
Jack: We were at a fundraiser for Delia's foundation. Right before the auction, one of the items went missing.
Billy: I-it was a doll.
Jill: Yes.
Billy: Right? And there was a guy who tried to steal it. He got caught at the front door?
Jill: Yes, that's right.
Jack: His name was Richard Womack.
Jill: Do you remember anything else?
Billy: Something about a chandelier... only it was on the floor and not the ceiling. And the guy -- Womack -- he had a gun. He told everybody to do what he said and nobody would get hurt... only I didn't listen.
Victoria: Well, I wish you would have, 'cause that man might have killed you.
Billy: I'm sorry for scaring you.
Victoria: I'm gonna tell the doctor that you're awake.
Colin: It's okay, Ethan. I'm not here to collect on any debts, real or imagined.
Cane: That would be a first.
Colin: Contrary to popular belief, I am capable of thinking of someone other than myself. And you and lily are very special to me -- one of the main reasons I wanted you out of that ballroom alive.
Charlie: Come on, daddy!
Lily: You guys, hold one second, okay? There's somebody I want you to meet. Mattie, Charlie... this is Colin. Okay? He helped daddy when he was hurt, so we owe him a very big thank you.
Charlie: Thank you!
Mattie: Thanks, Colin!
Lauren: You are not gonna believe what my sister's been up to -- or should I say the new Mrs. Colin Atkinson?
Michael: Are you -- oh, I can't believe it. Jill and Colin are back together?
Lauren: Yeah. Can you believe it? Completely crazy. I don't have all the details. All I know is that she married him when she was away.
Michael: You think she'd be too smart to get sucked in by that crook again.
Lauren: I mean, I can't even fathom what was in her head. But at least she knows what she's getting into -- right? -- And won't be shocked when he lies to her. On the other hand, Victoria had no idea what was going on between Billy and that other woman. It made me think about us -- how badly I hurt you, all the lies... and how grateful I am that you forgave me.
Michael: What was I gonna do? A life without you was never an option. We've been through too much with each other to give up now. Don't you think, Mrs. Baldwin?
Lauren: I wonder if Victoria will feel the same way.
Stitch: This is about you and Billy, isn't it? Victoria found out you were having an affair.
Kelly: It wasn't an affair. Stop saying that. It was one mistake -- one.
Stitch: If it was just one time and it didn't mean anything, then why were you headed to Billy's room just now?
Kelly: Because in spite of everything that happened, Billy has been a good friend of mine, and I just wanted to make sure that he was okay. Have you been in to see him?
Stitch: Whoa. If you're about to ask me about his condition, I can't give out that information.
Kelly: I'm not asking. I just wanted to know if he was going to --
Stitch: Look, you're not family, Kelly. It's the law, so don't even go there.
Kelly: You know what? Instead of being a doctor, maybe you should be a po--
Stitch: You know --
Victoria: Was that our friend Kelly? [Sighs] Let me guess -- she was asking about Billy. I bet that she claims she has a right to know because they were so close -- well, closer than I ever knew. And now the entire town will. If they don't now, they will soon enough. That's what happens when, uh... your husband tells you in a room full of people that he slept with another woman.
Stitch: I am so sorry.
Victoria: You know what? Thank you, but it gets worse. Listen to this. Billy just woke up, and he doesn't remember anything about last night -- at least not the part where he confessed that he cheated on me with Kelly. And as if that wasn't painful enough, it's nothing compared to knowing that he's still lying to me.
Billy: Will someone please tell me why Victoria is acting so weird? It's like she couldn't get out of here fast enough. Does this have something to do with Adam? Have they found his body? I mean, please tell me the guy is not alive.
Jack: This has nothing to do with Adam.
Billy: Then what?
Jill: All right, sweetie. I'm gonna go find the doctor because he should have been in here by now.
Billy: You know, you and mom are not exactly subtle. She knows what's going on with Victoria, doesn't she? You both do. So, why don't you fill me in, Jack? What is it that everyone's trying not to tell me?
Lily: Consider us even. We don't owe you a thing now, so please don't bother asking. Let's go, kids. Wait for us by the elevator, okay?
Colin: [Sighs]
Jill: Well, well, well. Congratulations.
Colin: For what?
Jill: Seems like you won them over, hmm?
Colin: Mm. So what? A slight thaw, a best. Doesn't mean to say they won't call the cops if I so much as look twice at the kids. But it was interesting. They don't remember me or what I am to them.
Jill: Sulking, are we?
Colin: Just a fact.
Jill: I seriously doubt that lily and cane would go to that extreme -- siccing the authorities on you -- given your heroics at the club.
Colin: Ohh. See, now you're impressed.
Jill: [Laughing] Really? What am I impressed by?
Colin: My illusion of becoming a model citizen.
Jill: You kidnap me. You blackmail me into marrying you. If that's your idea of model behavior, you're even more deluded than I thought.
Colin: The love of a good woman will make you do stuff like that.
Jill: Really?! And what woman would that be?
Colin: This hot chick I'm looking at as we speak!
Jill: Ah, I see. But, "a," I don't love you, Colin, and, "b," I'm immune to your charm, so stop oozing it all over me, okay? Although I realize this might be difficult for you 'cause you've always gotten exactly what you wanted, haven't you?
Colin: Not always. In fact, I'm still waiting for that romantic dinner with my blushing bride. Now that we know that your kid's out of trouble, how 'bout tonight?
Victoria: I just wish I knew what to do. Should I confront Billy and tell him that I know his big secret or just wait and see how long it takes for him to admit that he slept with Kelly, which could be forever since, clearly, he's in no hurry to tell me the truth? He wouldn't have blurted it out in front of half the town if he hadn't have been delirious from pain. Sorry, Ben. I shouldn't be unloading all this on you.
Stitch: Hey, everyone needs an ear sometimes. I just happen to have two, so no waiting.
Victoria: I was just so scared, you know? That awful man... waving that gun around, firing shots... and the chandelier falling. I thought it had crushed Billy, and all I could do was sit there and hold his hand and tell him that I was there. You know, having Billy nearby always made me feel calm, but not anymore. I can't stand to be around him, and it kills me to look in his eyes and know that he's lying to me.
Colin: I've been over Billy's test results. He'll be in some pain from the fractured ribs, but there was no head injury, no permanent damage.
Victoria: Meaning that he's gonna remember? [Sighs] And then I'll have to listen to my husband tell me again how sleeping with Kelly was about his grief and how he still loves me, blah blah blah.
Stitch: Do you love Billy?
Victoria: Of course I do.
Stitch: Enough to hear him out?
Billy: What, did you get some bad news from the doctor? Is that why Victoria's so freaked out?
Jack: Take it easy. Take it easy. Take a big breath, okay?
Billy: [Groans]
Jack: Okay. Oh, boy. Maybe that's not a good idea.
Billy: Just tell me, okay?! Whatever it is, don't make me play these guessing games!
Jack: Things last night were pretty stressful for everyone in that ballroom -- especially Victoria.
Billy: Yeah, because of me putting myself in danger again.
Jack: Yeah, that didn't help.
Billy: [Sighs] God, I should have never attacked Womack. It was a bonehead move. I was in no shape for a fight. Did that stop me? Hell, no.
Jack: Your friend Kelly was pretty upset, too.
Billy: Yeah, well, who wasn't? We were all being held at gunpoint by a trigger-happy ex-con who was getting desperate! He could have gone psycho at any minute -- started picking off hostages!
Jack: Kelly was the person you told me about earlier -- the woman you met in your grief support group, the woman who understood you in a way no one else did, including your wife?
Billy: Kelly is someone I could talk to, lean on.
Jack: You did more than lean on her, Billy. You took her to bed.
Billy: I love my wife.
Jack: Yeah, well, your wife knows about it now, as does everyone who was within earshot. The chandelier knocked you silly, and you admitted to your wife that you and Kelly had had a one-night stand.
Billy: Oh, my god. Vicki knows. I got to -- I got to get to her.
Jack: No, no, no, no. You can't go anywhere.
Billy: No, I got to talk to he
Jack: You are in no condition to go anywhere. Billy!
Billy: I don't care! Let go of me! I got to get to her!
Jack: Not now. Listen to me. Victoria left because she needs some space. The least you could do is give her that.
Lily: I promise this won't take long.
Cane: Why are we stopping here again?
Lily: I just want to leave a list of repairs for the contractor for the ballroom, and when I'm done, we can get back to our welcome-home party.
Cane: The ballroom's not booked until may.
Lily: No, I know. I just want to get it done. Nobody needs a reminder of what happened last night.
Cane: I'm okay.
Lily: I know. All right, you guys. I'll be back as soon as I can, okay?
Charlie: Okay.
Lily: Take care of your daddy. Thank you.
Cane: Bye.
Charlie: Come on, daddy. You'd better sit down.
Cane: All right. We'll sit down. [Sighs] You know, your mommy worries about me, but I'm okay. I'm not 100%, but I'm okay.
Mattie: Because that man helped you?
Cane: Yes, because that man helped me... for once.
Colin: Yeah, around 8:00. The corner table -- the booth. I want the pretty flowers and the whole number. You got it. Ciao.
Jill: Reservations will really not be necessary.
Colin: Wait a minute. You agreed. You can't back out now.
Jill: Oh, who's backing out? Dinner is served.
Colin: First it was cheese and crackers, then potato crisps. What ever happened to the six-pack of beer?
Jill: Colin, after all the lies you told me the other time when we were married? Oh, excuse me -- supposedly married. And then you hire a hit man to go after Genevieve and Gloria? Please. For somebody like you, this is as good as it gets, okay? Mmm. Delicious, actually.
Colin: Romantic meal, Jill, is defined by something not out of a vending machine.
Jill: Is this all about food? That is so shallow of you.
Colin: Come on. Ok, all I'm looking for is just a-a little effort, a little --
Jill: Romance. I get it. I get it. Okay. Here you go. Mm. Don't say I never gave you anything, baby.
Colin: Really, Jill?
Jill: You may be the hero of Genoa City right now, but this is about as lovey-dovey as the two of us are ever gonna get.
Colin: You keep telling yourself that.
Lily: I'm in the ballroom now. I already made a list of repairs. Yes. I'll just leave the clipboard on the bar, and then that way, when you and the electrician stop by, you can take a look and just leave me an estimate. Okay, great. Thank you. Bye. Kelly, hi.
Kelly: Hi.
Lily: How are you doing?
Kelly: Um, still kind of shaky.
Lily: Yeah, I, uh -- I know the feeling.
Kelly: Uh, I was at the police station earlier, giving my statement, and the detective said that all of our personal property was still here. I was hoping to get my cell phone.
Lily: Oh, yes. Of course. You are welcome to take a look. If it's not in here, then maybe somebody picked it up. You know, that happens a lot -- people taking other people's things.
Kelly: Yeah. Duly noted. How are you? How's your husband?
Lily: Um, he's good. He got released from the hospital this morning, thank god, so I hope Billy does, too.
Kelly: Listen, let's just get the elephant out of the room, okay? I am sorry that Victoria found out the way she did, in front of all those people.
Lily: Well, I think what you should really be sorry about is the fact that you slept with her husband.
Kelly: And I truly am. If I could take it back, I would in a second. I know that Billy loves Victoria, and I truly hope the two of them can get past this.
Lily: Well, the problem is that no matter how strong a couple is, after a betrayal like this, whether it gets better or it gets worse, it's not easy.
Michael: If the doll was locked in its case but Womack had the combination, then that would seem to --
Lauren: Okay. Honey, can I not relive every moment of last night? The important thing is that Womack is dead. He is not a threat to our son anymore. And I feel like I can breathe for the first time in months. Fen is free, and carmine is out of our lives for good.
Michael: Well, you know, I would like to think that.
Lauren: Why wouldn't you?
Michael: This... came for you.
Lauren: Postcard? "I know we won't be seeing each other for a while, but you'll never be far from my thoughts."
Michael: There's no signature.
Lauren: We both know who this is from.
Michael: [Sighs]
Lauren: He's never gonna stop, is he? [Sighs]
Lauren: Carmine is gonna keep haunting our family! There is just no escape! It's like Sheila all over again!
Michael: Listen to me. You've got to calm down.
Lauren: No. Don't you understand what he's doing? It doesn't even matter where he is.
Michael: Carmine is in a witness protection program. He is being watched by marshals 24/7. He cannot hurt you anymore. He cannot hurt us.
Lauren: The only reason he s being protected is because he turned state's evidence against Womack. He traded information for a new name and a new life, somewhere where Womack couldn't find him. And now that he is dead, what is to keep carmine from coming back here?
Kelly: You know, when I came to Genoa City, I wanted a fresh start. After Sam died, I... I couldn't live in the house anymore. There wasn't a place that I could go to that wasn't flooded with memories of him. I just wanted to be able to walk down the street without people staring at me and pitying me, saying, "oh, there's the lady whose son was killed. Oh, thank god it wasn't us, honey," like it might be contagious or something. At least here, if people want to shun me, I know I brought it on myself.
Lily: It takes two.
Kelly: Excuse me?
Lily: Look -- I mean, Billy made a choice, you know? He's not blameless in all of this.
Kelly: Thank you. Sometimes women can be really cruel to other women, so I'm surprised you're not attacking me.
Lily: Look -- I mean, I'm not a fan of women who get between other couples, but I'm not gonna stand here and pass judgment on you and Billy, either.
Kelly: I appreciate that.
Lily: You know, sometimes couples just drift apart. You know, they find somebody better to relate to, and it doesn't make it right, but it happens.
Kelly: Sounds like you're speaking from experience?
Lily: I am, yeah. But I was lucky enough to get through that and have a solid relationship with the man that I love. And I really hope that Billy and Victoria can, too, because I do believe that some couples are just meant to be together.
Kelly: So I hear.
Lily: So, you've been married?
Kelly: Yeah. But, you know, when Sam... we just gave up. We stopped trying. What was the point? We weren't a family anymore. Our lives were never gonna be the same. Unless someone goes through it, it's hard for people to understand.
Lily: But Billy did.
Kelly: He did. I never had to explain to him the emptiness and the self-loathing. He was living the same nightmare I was.
Lily: Yeah, although he had a family and wife to lean on, and you had no one.
[Door opens]
Victoria: Will you give us a minute, Jack?
Jack: Yeah. Take all the time you need. I'll see that you're not interrupted.
Billy: I'm glad that you came back.
Victoria: There are some things that we need to discuss -- some things that happened.
Billy: I know what I said last night... about Kelly and me.
Victoria: You remember?
Billy: I was pretty out of it, but, uh... Jack filled in some missing pieces. I'm so sorry it came out like that... in public.
Victoria: How exactly did you expect it to come out? Were you just waiting for a night after you and I tucked Johnny in together and you were just gonna sit me down on the couch and... tell me that you had sex with another woman? Or maybe [Sighs] You were gonna take me out to dinner -- do it somewhere public so I couldn't make a scene. I mean, honestly, I can think of a dozen different ways that you could have told me. But you didn't. You chose to lie to me day after day, week after week. So, I have one question for you, and I want you to be honest. Were you ever planning on telling me about Kelly?
Billy: The second that it was over, I-I knew I had made a terrible mistake. I swear, if I could undo it, I would.
Victoria: Answer the question, Billy. Were you planning on telling me -- yes or no?
Billy: Yes, I was. I swear to you, Victoria, when I got home, I saw the look in your eyes and all of the love that was there, and I knew how much it would hurt you. And I couldn't do it. So, at that point, I made a vow that I would try and be a better man -- never do anything ever again that would make you want to leave me.
Victoria: Oh, yeah, and we all know how good you are at keeping your vows.
Billy: Vick, please. I-I know this is hard, but try and understand. I didn't have sex with Kelly out of love or lust. It was out of pain and the loss of my child. I was just trying to stop hurting, and so was Kelly.
Victoria: Oh. Well, did it help? Did it help you? Did it take away the pain?
Billy: No. In fact, it made everything that much worse.
Victoria: So, you threw away our life... and the marriage that we worked so hard to try to rebuild for nothing -- nothing? Is that what you're telling me?
Billy: Baby, I'm so sorry I hurt you. I love you so much. Please, please tell me I haven't screwed up everything.
Victoria: [Sighs] [Sighs]
Kelly: It's such a relief being able to talk to someone.
Lily: Yeah, it is nice. Uh, I just -- I have a question. Is that why you offered to help set up the charity -- as a way to stay connected to Billy?
Kelly: No! Lily, come on. I work for a nonprofit, remember? Adam came to me for help setting up the Delia foundation.
Lily: Okay. No, sorry. It was my mistake.
Kelly: Let me just get this straight -- neither Billy nor I went to that grief support group looking for anything beyond just simple human understanding. That is it. I'm not under any illusion. What happened between us... is never gonna be anything more. Billy was a good friend that I'm really sad to lose.
Cane: Is this our family? Yeah? We look really happy, don't we?
Mattie: We are happy because daddy's okay.
Cane: Yeah, I'm okay.
Charlie: Do you have a daddy?
Cane: Do I have a daddy? Of course I have a daddy. Everyone's got a daddy.
Mattie: Why don't we know him?
Cane: Um... you know, I think maybe one day you could maybe, you know, get to know him.
Lily: Hey, guys. Uh, you know what? I think the desk clerk has some leftover valentine's candy. Why don't you go see if he'll give you some? [Chuckles]
Cane: I take it you overhead that?
Lily: Interesting coincidence.
Cane: Yeah, I think that's all it was. And before you ask, no way -- I wasn't tempted to tell them Colin's their grandfather.
Lily: Not even a little bit?
Cane: No, 'cause that would be something we would discuss first, not that there's anything to discuss, because I know you don't want him in their lives. Neither do I. And I think that what happened this morning --
Lily: I know. I know. It couldn't -- it couldn't be helped.
Cane: Listen, I promise to you this is not gonna be a gateway for more.
Lily: But, cane, as much as I am grateful that Colin saved your life...
Cane: I know. I know. He always has an agenda. I just don't know what it is this time.
Jill: Huh. Is that a challenge?
Colin: Whatever it takes.
Jill: I see. Okay. So, the charm and the coercion haven't worked. Now we're on to mind games. That's all right. Two can play at that.
Colin: I like a good mind game. You play one of the best.
Jill: Well, thank you. But stop it. You're making my knees go all weak.
Colin: Me thinketh the lady protesteth too much.
Jill: My knees really are fine.
Colin: They certainly are.
Jill: God, you're relentless.
Colin: One of the qualities you used to like best about me, amongst other things, of course.
Jill: Mm-hmm. That was then.
Colin: You ever hear about that saying -- you know, the one about the past becoming the present?
Jill: Colin, if I believed for one moment that you were the man I once thought you were --
Colin: Look, I realize I'm gonna have to earn back the trust, and I will, but, well, in the meantime...
Jill: What do you think you're dong?
Colin: My god. How long has it been?
Jill: We're in a hospital, for god's sake.
Colin: So what? It's a building full of beds! When did that ever matter to you? It was a desktop. Why don't we just make it a repeat performance at the nurses' station?
Jill: Not happening -- not ever.
Colin: That's too bad. I-I guess you're really not all that anxious to find out about the mystery of Katherine's music box. And I guess now -- well...
Jill: [Sighs]
Colin: ...You never will.
Jill: Okay. Okay. Okay. One -- one kiss, and then you tell me what you know.
Colin: Okay. Just one.
Jill: Okay, just one.
Colin: Just one.
Jill: Okay. [Sighs]
Colin: [Clears throat]
Jill: All right. Start talking.
Colin: Last time I was here... [Clears throat] Excuse me. ...I overheard Katherine talking to her attorney about something she was going to put in this music box for you to find after she died.
Jill: The music box was empty!
Colin: Not quite. I removed the certain something before the box was consigned to safekeeping. What it means is that if you want to unlock that mystery, well, you got to go through me.
Jill: I am going through you.
Colin: Now, darling --
Jill: Don't you "now, darling" me! Come on. We had a deal -- one kiss in exchange for what you know.
Colin: My memory's a little fuzzy with the details.
Jill: Oh, you're such an ass!
Colin: [Chuckles] Perhaps -- just perhaps... if you goosed me with another one of those incredible --
Jill: This would be a really good time for you to start earning back that trust we were talking about.
Colin: Okay. What I found inside the box... made no sense to me at all, but, then again, it meant something to Katherine, so I figured maybe you would understand.
Jill: "Rachel Berenson"?
Colin: Yeah. Makes no sense to me. I mean, who or what's a Rachel Berenson?
Jill: I don't know.
Colin: [Sighs] You wouldn't be trying to pull a fast one on the old man, now, would you? 'Cause if you think you're gonna go off in pursuit of this on your own, forget it. I'm gonna be with you all the way.
Michael: Well, thank you, buddy. That's another one I owe you. Bye.
Lauren: So, what did Ronan say?
Michael: Ronan confirmed that carmine has been moved to Puerto Rico by the U.S. Marshals.
Lauren: And that's gonna continue even though Womack is dead?
Michael: Womack's associates are pretty loyal. Word at the bureau is there's still a contract out for carmine's life, so if he's dumb enough to leave witness protection, he'll be hunted down and most likely killed.
Lauren: So, then... it is over... at least for now. We're free to move on.
Michael: Yeah. That's my gal.
Lauren: Yeah?
Michael: We can't let carmine and his pathetic messages keep us from living our lives.
Lauren: Amen. Watch this.
Michael: [Chuckles]
Lauren: Now...shall we?
Lily: Oh, my goodness. Whose idea was it to give you sugar before lunch?
Cane: Uh, that would have been your idea.
Lily: Hey, no imaginary pogo stick in the revolving door. Thank you!
Cane: All right. You know what just occurred to me?
Lily: Yes? What?
Cane: That we have not finished our anniversary celebration.
Lily: You're right. We didn't.
Cane: And now we have to wait until they crash from the sugar high.
Lily: Uh, I have a feeling that you're gonna crash first, and, by the way, you're due for your next dose of pain meds.
Cane: Maybe I won't take it and I'll just tough it out.
Lily: Actually, I'd rather wait until you're healed so that we can really celebrate.
Cane: I like the sound of that. Guess what I have planned for you for our celebration. It involves candles and champagne and flowers.
Lily: Honey, all that sounds great, but all that I really need is you.
Jack: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. If you're going where I think you are, don't. You shouldn't be here.
Kelly: Hi, Jack. I-I just wanted to go and apologize to Billy.
Jack: Billy is talking with his wife right now. It may take some time. Maybe you should go.
Stitch: Hey. Jack is right. You don't belong here. I tried telling you that earlier. Why don't you leave before you make things worse?
Kelly: Who the hell do you think you are? You're the last person to tell me how not to make things worse.
Billy: Vicki, please tell me you'll stay. We'll work things out. I will -- I will do anything. Just please don't leave me.
Victoria: I'm not saying that it's over.
Billy: Baby, I promise you won't regret this. Okay? [Groans] I love you -- only you, okay?
Victoria: I can't.
Next on "The Young and the Restless"...
Nick: You wanted to talk? What's up?
Dylan: This is about us protecting Nikki.
Nick: From what?
Dylan: Ian Ward.
