Anita: Okay. One more.
Chelsea: Okay, Mom. That's enough. No more pictures. Ditch the petals.
Adam: Whoa.
Chelsea: Okay.
Anita: When you want these memories, you're gonna thank me. [Chuckles] Okay if I hug my son-in-law?
Chelsea: If it's okay with him, by all means.
Anita: Aww.
Adam: Bring it in.
Anita: [Chuckles]
Jack: May you have a long and happy life with your two guys.
Chelsea: Thank you, Jack. You helped make it kick off to a great start.
Anita: You lucked out, Adam Newman. Don't mess it up again. And don't stop trying to make my little girl happy. That massive ring on her finger is a good start. Remember that for anniversaries, birthdays, and -- oh! You know, my birthday is --
Chelsea: Mom. Mom.
Adam: [Clears throat]
Anita: I'll send it to you in an e-mail. And take my girl on a ritzy, classy European honeymoon.
Chelsea: [Chuckling] I don't need to do that.
Adam: Who knows? I might need one.
Chelsea: Well, then, you can do it. The place we're going tonight is much bigger and much better than any honeymoon. And it'll last longer.
Adam: A new life in Paris with our beautiful little boy. [Smooches]
Chelsea: Yes.
Victoria: Do you know where I was earlier? I was at a Delia project meeting. We are gonna do some wonderful things in your sister's name. Even if your daddy doesn't show up for any meetings.
[Knock on door]
Victoria: Right? [Chuckles] You're getting heavy. Hi.
Victor: Well, look who's there.
Victoria: Dad, what are you doing here?
Victor: A little jolly.
Victoria: [Chuckles]
Victor: I'm here to see how Billy is doing.
Adam: Do they have any idea who's responsible for this?
Billy: Not yet. But the cops are looking for the bastard who did this. And if he wasn't such a coward, he'd come forward, he'd confess and give us just a little bit of peace.
Adam: Maybe the guy never even saw Delia.
Billy: How do you not see a kid in the middle of the road?
Adam: Maybe it's just the universe allowing me to balance the karmic scales.
Billy: Play dumb all you want to, Adam. It's not gonna erase what you did. You see, this man right here, the father of your child -- he's the person who anonymously set up the foundation in Delia's name.
Billy: Yeah. That's very whirlwind. Why are you leaving the country, Adam?
Chelsea: I wanted us to get married before we got on a plane tonight.
Billy: You're leaving tonight? That's too soon.
Billy: You son of a bitch. [Voice breaking] You killed my daughter. [Groans]
Nikki: Ian.
Ian: You do remember me. Wonderful.
Nikki: How did you get in here?
[Cell phone rings]
Ian: My son.
Avery: Is Nikki not answering?
Dylan: No. Not yet. I really want to tell her what we found out about Ian.
Ian: Let me say hello.
Nikki: No!
Avery: You can try to reach her again later.
Dylan: Yeah. I'll do that. I'm just, you know, a little anxious to talk to her.
Avery: Okay, now you sound worried.
Dylan: Well, maybe I am. Only because I hate that I caused all that pain. But she'll be very relieved to find out I never laid eyes on the guy.
Nikki: I need the phone.
Ian: Why's that?
Nikki: To call the police.
Ian: Go ahead, but I haven't done anything illegal.
Nikki: You're in my house. How did you get in?
Ian: I told the guards that I was an old friend.
Nikki: Friend? Is that what you call all the young girls that you took advantage of? Friends?
Ian: Taken advantage of?
Nikki: Yeah. That's a euphemism for what you did to me.
Ian: Oh, Nikki. Those were confusing times. We were all searching for something larger than ourselves, seeking comfort and solace in community.
Nikki: Oh, will you stop it?! I have heard enough of your propaganda to last a lifetime. I want you out of my house!
Ian: Why, when my teachings have so obviously helped you? Look around, Nikki. Clearly, you found what you were looking for.
Nikki: How I've been and what I've done has nothing to do with you.
Ian: I'm hurt you feel that way, and that you never told me about the child.
Avery: You shouldn't feel bad. I thought your plan was gonna work, too.
Dylan: Which part?
Avery: All of it. Us going to the Path office, pretending to be married --
Dylan: Yeah, that was -- it was fun.
Avery: Yeah. It was kind of fun. And it should have led us to Ian Ward.
Dylan: If I had gotten you the ring. Clarence picked up on that right away.
Avery: Well, Clarence should get with the 21st century, 'cause there's a lot of modern women who choose not to wear wedding rings these days.
Dylan: But you would wear one -- I mean, if we were married, right?
Avery: Yeah. I would. I'm really sorry that you didn't find what you were looking for.
Dylan: Well, who says I didn't?
Avery: Well, you didn't find Ian Ward.
Dylan: Yeah, but, actually, there was one piece of that double-talk cult-speak Clarence was spewing that wasn't complete nonsense.
Avery: There was?
Dylan: When I came here searching for Ian Ward, I was looking for the wrong thing.
Avery: Dylan, you just wanted to meet your father.
Dylan: No. I didn't want to meet the guy that did all those terrible things to Nikki. I wanted to confront him.
Avery: Like, what, fight him, punch him in the face?
Dylan: Maybe.
Avery: Dylan --
Dylan: Look, I went after it, and I got Nikki all upset because I thought going head-to-head with Ian Ward would bring some kind of sense and justice and meaning to my life, and the guy means absolutely nothing to me. And I almost jeopardized the most important relationship in my life in the process.
Avery: Mmm-mm. Not if I had anything to do with it.
Dylan: I love you. And I know how blessed I am to have you. And I'm sorry it's taken a while for me to get to this place.
Avery: Oh, you've been dealing with a lot.
Dylan: Yeah. I was, uh, pretty beat up after what happened with Connor.
Avery: And finding out your parents weren't your parents. Dylan, anyone would be messed up by that.
Dylan: Are you defending me to me?
Avery: I am ordering you to stop beating yourself up --
Dylan: [Chuckles]
Avery: -- From now on.
Dylan: [Smooches] Yes, ma'am.
Avery: And Ian Ward --
Dylan: I'm letting that go. And it'll be a relief. And I know somebody who's gonna feel the same way.
Victor: I can only imagine the strain that you must have been under trying to help Billy cope. I mean, he is very lucky to have you by his side, you know?
Victoria: Are we back to blaming Billy for Delia's death?
Victor: I will not blame Billy for that hit-and-run situation, okay? That's the farthest from my mind.
Victoria: Okay. Good. I'm glad to hear that. I just wish that the police would find the hit-and-run driver, though.
Victor: Well, apparently, the investigation has stalled.
Victoria: Have you been checking?
Victor: Well, of course. Delia was your stepdaughter, a very sweet girl.
Victoria: She was wonderful.
Victor: Yes, she certainly was. Now, despite the efforts of the police to find whoever was responsible for Delia's death, the odds of finding him are diminishing, apparently. Wonder how Billy would react to that if they don't find that person.
Victoria: You know, Dad, it's not like you to worry about Billy.
Victor: He's your husband. His state of mind affects you, so, obviously, I'm concerned.
Victoria: Thank you. He's getting through it.
Victor: So, any bad behavior, or what?
Victoria: No. Not at all. He's actually sought out professional help, and he's in a grief support group.
Victor: Oh. What about his family?
Victoria: His family has all been very loving and supportive.
Victor: Good.
Victoria: Jill and Jack have encouraged him to get involved in the Delia project.
Victor: Mm-hmm.
Victoria: Did you know about that?
Victor: I heard about it.
Victoria: Yeah. I think it's good for Billy to have a positive thing to focus on like the Delia foundation.
Victor: Mm-hmm. I think you're right.
Victoria: I think so. And did you hear that Adam is the one who set that up?
Victor: Probably to buy himself a place in heaven.
Victoria: Well, I am well aware of Adam's sins, but I don't think anyone can question his motives where this is concerned.
Adam: I hate to get married and run.
Chelsea: We have like a million things we have to do before we leave tonight, so--.
Adam: So, let's do them.
Chelsea: Uh, I actually have a few stops I have to make first. Would you mind taking Connor home, and I'll meet you there?
Adam: We'll be there.
Chelsea: I want to remember this moment, this place. My life will forever be divided into two parts -- what happened before and everything that happened after I became Mrs. Chelsea Lawson Newman.
Adam: Again.
Chelsea: Forever this time. You made me believe that dreams can come true. I'll see you back at home?
Adam: Okay.
Anita: I'll walk out with you, baby. And you, my little sweetheart. Your grandmother, Anita, is expecting good reports, okay, little tiger? You, too. You better send me lots of pictures.
Adam: All right. We'll see. Maybe.
Chelsea: [Laughs] I'll see you back there.
Adam: Okay. Hey. Come here. One more of these kisses.
Anita: Bon voyage!
Adam: It feels like a dream.
Jack: Which part?
Adam: All of it.
[Metallic tapping]
[Clatters]
Billy: Okay. Okay.
Victor: Do you think Billy has made peace with the fact that the person who's responsible for Delia's death might never be found?
Victoria: How could he?
Victor: Well, he shouldn't go on searching when that seems hopeless.
Victoria: Dad, you know what? There was a time when Billy couldn't really bear to be around Johnny because it was too painful a reminder. Then, suddenly, the day came, and he was able to reconnect with his son. You know, not too long ago, he couldn't confide in me at all, but now that's changed. Things are better than they've been since--.
Victor: The accident.
Victoria: Billy would call it murder.
Victor: Mm-hmm. So, he's still angry?
Victoria: But not at me. And not at Johnny. You know, he's putting his blame in the right place -- on the person who hit Dee Dee and just took off. But he's trying to move on, and he's trying to embrace what he still has.
Victor: Well, that's good to hear.
Victoria: Yes, it's good to hear, and you know what? I'm always gonna be here for him. I'm not going anywhere.
Victor: I think the best thing for you and the best thing for all of us is to help Billy move forward, you know? He can't let this tragedy define the rest of his life.
Nikki: You're shocked I didn't come to you about the pregnancy? After how it happened?
Ian: What do you think happened?
Nikki: Oh, you filled my head with garbage about what path I'm supposed to walk down. A well-worn path to your bed, as it turned out. Which you wouldn't let me leave. Dylan was a product of that ugly, loveless encounter.
Ian: You're misremembering.
Nikki: No. I remember it vividly. It has haunted me for decades.
Ian: Well, then, your memory's been distorted, then, because what actually took place between us is now being viewed through the lens of shame.
Nikki: Yes. Shame and disgust.
Ian: Which is not surprising in a society with such a backwards sense of morality.
Nikki: [Chuckling] Oh, my god. You can actually explain away your abuse as my false perceptions?
Ian: I'm encouraging you to remember what happened with more accuracy and less blame, Nikki. You were a more than willing participant in what I recall as a beautiful experience.
Victoria: You just missed Johnny performing his newest trick. It was so cute. While I was putting him down, he was trying to blow raspberries, but he was putting so much effort into it. When he couldn't do it, he would -- instead of getting worked up and upset, he would start giggling. It reminded me so much of you, the way he was cracking himself up.
Billy: Yeah.
Victoria: I swear that kid is gonna develop his father's personality. Speaking of, um, unexpected behaviors, uh, you'll be surprised, pleasantly, I think, to know that you have some support coming. Billy.
Billy: Mm-hmm.
Victoria: What is it? What's wrong?
Billy: I've been thinking about Delia.
Victoria: Oh. Did you just come from a support meeting?
Billy: I've been thinking about how she died.
Victoria: More than usual?
Billy: I've had this thought that's been haunting me for the past few days, and I didn't know where that thought was gonna take me.
Victoria: About Delia?
Billy: I don't know. I think, um -- yeah. I think now I've got something figured out.
******
Adam: I'm gonna miss you, Jack, and your advice.
Jack: Which you consistently ignore.
Adam: And your candor.
Jack: [Chuckles]
Adam: You've believed in me despite everything.
Jack: Hey, do me a favor. Stop giving up on yourself quite so easily.
Adam: Yeah, well, I'd almost given up completely on living a life as good as this.
Jack: I know that feeling. I once felt it a lot.
Adam: What changed for you?
Jack: I was fortunate enough to have someone squarely in my corner, and now, like me, you have a wonderful woman in your life.
Adam: How do you manage to always be such a good guy, Jack?
Jack: I'm not, really.
Adam: Here we are, talking all about me, and I have neglected to even ask you about Phyllis. How's she doing? You went to go visit her at the hospital this last weekend?
Jack: Slight, yeah. I'm still hopeful. But life goes on. And it looks like your life is just beginning.
Adam: Yes, it is. Thank you, Jack, for standing up for me today.
Jack: It was my honor, honestly.
Adam: You've been the father to me that Victor Newman never was. I guess this is goodbye, Jack.
Jack: Hey, you're talking like I'm never gonna see you again.
Victor: And why would that be? You going somewhere or what?
Ian: Well, I'm sorry you're determined to deny a past filled with so many good moments.
Nikki: I'm no longer an easily manipulated teenager.
Ian: What you are is a beautiful woman with all the outward signs of a happy, successful life. But we both know true happiness comes from within.
Nikki: You know, there's a special circle of hell reserved for people like you -- people who use the ruse of spiritual enlightenment to prey on others.
Ian: What? That's what you think I do?
Nikki: Yes. That's what you do, and it's disgusting. How many people have you hurt? How many lives have you ruined? It doesn't bother you at all. You haven't changed. You don't have an ounce of remorse or humanity. In fact, you're the least spiritual person I've ever met.
Ian: Well, I hope you haven't taken out your bitterness on our son.
Nikki: What did you tell Dylan?
Ian: Nothing; yet.
Jack: What the hell are you doing here, Victor?
Victor: I'm following up on the investigation into your company's practices.
Jack: This is not the time.
Victor: And the drugs that were seen and present on the set of the Jabot photo shoot -- drugs that caused congestive heart failure in my granddaughter.
Jack: I will happily answer any questions about Summer's condition honestly.
Victor: Why don't you start right now?
Jack: I think the guy at the top of a company should be responsible for everything that happens in that company.
Victor: Well, I couldn't agree with you more. You will be held accountable. And, by the way, what is my grandson doing in this room with Abbott? Are you about to go somewhere?
Jack: Adam and Chelsea just got married. They are taking their son, Connor, and going to France and away from your controlling, smothering influence.
Victor: Well, son, I'm just in time to offer my congratulations.
Adam: Thank you, Jack. For everything.
Jack: Enjoy Paris.
Victor: So, wherever you were planning to spend your life with Chelsea, it's gonna be right here in Genoa City.
Adam: I made a promise to my wife.
Victor: You will raise the boy here so I can keep an eye on him, okay?
Adam: We're leaving, Dad.
Victor: A boy whose vision was restored by two corneas -- from a child you killed.
****
Victoria: You had an emotional breakthrough at the grief counseling meeting? I mean, you can talk to me about it -- whatever happened tonight, good or bad or whatever. You know you can talk to me, right? I'm here. I mean, whenever you're ready. I know you're not really in the mood to hear this right now, but there's something I want to say to you. I'm really proud of you. And I'm really grateful, you know, you're taking the steps to get your life back.
Billy: I got to tell you something. Tonight, um --
[Knock on door]
Victoria: Billy?
Billy: Just... [Clears throat] Get the door, honey.
[Knock on door]
Chelsea: Hi, Victoria.
Victoria: Hi. Come in.
Chelsea: Hey.
Billy: Is Adam with you?
Chelsea: Uh, no. No. It's just me. I was hoping I could say goodbye to Johnny.
Victoria: Goodbye?
Chelsea: But -- Billy didn't tell you? Adam and I -- we just got remarried, and we're moving to Paris.
Victoria: Oh!
Chelsea: [Chuckles]
Victoria: Wow. That's -- that's wonderful. Congratulations.
Chelsea: Thank you.
Victoria: Wow. Uh, well, when was the wedding?
Chelsea: It was just now. It was super last minute at the courthouse, but it was beautiful. It was -- you know, my mom was there and your brother was there and -- and Connor, of course, so --
Victoria: You look really happy.
Chelsea: I really am. This is a chance for Adam and I to really have a fresh start and start a new life with our son. It's exciting.
Billy: You two think you can just walk away and leave everything behind, huh?
Dylan: [Sighs]
Avery: I'm so happy.
Dylan: Oh, I can tell. You were singing off-key to the radio the whole way home.
Avery: Uh, I don't think that was me.
Dylan: What do you mean?
Avery: Wait, what's a key?
Dylan: Um, I'm not really sure, but I think you were off the key.
Avery: We stumbled back into it, didn't we?
Dylan: Into what?
Avery: Being natural with each other again. Having fun? I mean, this trip -- we're like we used to be.
Dylan: You know, every time you say that we've become natural again, I get a little nervous.
Avery: I know you do. I'm just so happy that I'm gonna risk saying it anyway.
Dylan: One of the toughest things I ever did was coming to Genoa City and seeing you again after all that time. And then having to shove down the feelings and pack them away.
Avery: When I didn't marry Nick, I thought that you and I would --
Dylan: I know. Me, too. I just, you know, kind of lost my bearings. Wasn't really ready to commit.
Avery: And what about now?
Dylan: Now, uh, I want to get on the roof and announce it to the world that I love Avery Bailey Clark!
Avery: [Laughs]
Dylan: Sorry.
Avery: Hi.
[Both laugh]
Dylan: And I wish, you know, that we could be --
Avery: What? A real couple?
Dylan: And everything that means.
[Cell phone rings]
Avery: Mm.
Dylan: What?
Avery: I got to --
Dylan: What? It's not that important?
Avery: No, it's not that important. I mean, I do have to deal with it, but back to reality soon.
Dylan: Mm. Now this is reality.
Nikki: What did you tell Dylan?
Ian: Our son? I haven't had the pleasure of meeting the young man. But I know he's gone to great lengths to find me.
Nikki: You mean you didn't meet him?
Ian: Just missed him. But he must have done extensive research to figure out how I'd landed in Indiana.
Nikki: So, if you didn't see him there, you were already headed to Genoa City before he could find you.
Ian: Well, what do you think?
Nikki: Well, I would like to think that you've come to me to ask Dylan to back off, that you've decided you want nothing to do with a young man that you have no connection with other than biology. You and Dylan have nothing in common.
Ian: Oh, I disagree. We have something very important in common.
Nikki: That doesn't change what you did or what you are.
Ian: What I am is Dylan McAvoy's father. And I look forward to meeting him.
Nikki: [Voice breaking] You're staying in town? For how long?
Ian: I'm glad we've reconnected, Nikki. And, yes, I will be sticking around, for a little while. I'll see you soon.
[Door opens, closes]
Nikki: [Crying]
Jack: [Sighs] Quick. Tell me some good news.
Kyle: As you wish. We have confirmed that viva-surge's sales started surging after Bonaventure was under Victor's umbrella.
Jack: Wait, we're certain?
Kyle: Absolutely. Now, there's no way to prove that he had a direct hand in it, but there's a very good chance that he was aware of what was going on in his own company.
Jack: So, that smug bastard put an unapproved substance on the market.
Kyle: And used the internet as an anonymous delivery system.
Jack: Viva-surge very nearly killed Summer and who knows how many other people.
Kyle: We need to alert the FDA.
Jack: Oh, no. More than Food and Drug. No, Drug Enforcement. The FBI will want to know about this, too. And Victor will never see it coming.
Victor: Rather disappointed to hear that you were leaving the country with Chelsea and my grandson.
Adam: And why would you be disappointed? You have plenty of other grandchildren, some of whom may not even need to be forced to be around you. Some may even like you.
Victor: Not the point, son.
Adam: Summer, Johnny, Noah, Reed, Faith.
Victor: They're my family.
Adam: I'm your family. I took a bullet for you. That's not even a turn of phrase. I actually got shot in the chest while protecting you.
Victor: And now you're running away, is that it?
Adam: No. I'm simply choosing to remove myself to somewhere far, far outside of your world.
Victor: Far away from the truth.
Adam: I have a family -- my own family. My wife believes in me. My son, he will grow up with me as I am now, not with all my baggage.
Victor: That baggage of your past has a funny way of following you wherever you are. It never leaves you. You either change your mind and stay in this town or I'll go to the police and tell them that you are the hit-and-run driver that killed Delia. The choice is simple. You stay in this town, raise my grandson here, or you have no life at all. I'm sure you'll make the right decision.
Adam: I will.
Chelsea: That's the plan -- to leave Genoa City and just start with a clean slate.
Billy: Just go to Europe and, uh, be free.
Chelsea: Exactly.
Victoria: Well, I think that it's really exciting, you know? It's the kind of leap that people always talk about doing but they never make.
Chelsea: Yeah.
Victoria: That's great.
Chelsea: It's true. There are a lot of things I'm gonna miss about this town, but there's also plenty of things that I'm ready to leave behind me. [Chuckles]
Billy: I'm sure Adam feels the same way.
Victoria: I think it'll be a great change for him, you know? He'll be able to get away from Dad and the past.
Chelsea: Yeah. Adam's the first person to admit he's made mistakes. There are people that he's hurt, but I don't think he should spend the rest of his life being punished for them.
Billy: Oh. He's being punished now?
Chelsea: No, I mean, I just think he's trying to be a better man. Look at the foundation he set up in Delia's name. He didn't even want credit for that. He didn't even tell me that he did that. [Chuckles]
Victoria: Why did he do it?
Chelsea: Uh, I think he was just looking towards the future. I think he wants Connor to grow up and be proud of him.
Billy: Yeah. That kid does deserve a bright future.
Victoria: Billy, are you okay?
Billy: I will be.
Avery: I really do have to go.
Dylan: Yeah.
Avery: Mm-hmm. [Laughing] This can't be good for business.
Dylan: Oh, I'd prefer private anyway.
Avery: I do, too.
Dylan: So? Elsewhere?
Avery: Okay.
Dylan: Okay. You got to get back to work.
Avery: I know. I have phone calls to return and e-mails to respond to, and you've got work to do around here, too, right?
Dylan: Yeah, I've got work to do. How about a romantic night out later? Dinner, wine, dancing?
Avery: Dancing?
Dylan: [Chuckles] If it makes you happy.
Avery: No, you make me happy. And I love the idea of a romantic night out.
Dylan: Then I'll make the reservation.
Avery: Okay.
Dylan: [Exhales]
Jack: We have to time this just right. It doesn't all fall out at once. One department at a time.
Victor: Well, it looks as if I'm interrupting something rather serious.
Jack: Oh, gee. I thought, somehow, I'd get through the rest of the day without seeing you again.
Kyle: I'm very glad that Summer is okay.
Victor: No thanks to your dad.
Kyle: See, I've got a problem with that.
Jack: Kyle, Kyle.
Kyle: It's why I'm glad I ran into you.
Victor: Something you'd like to say?
Kyle: With all due respect, the way that you're blaming my father for what happened on that photo shoot -- unwarranted.
Jack: Kyle --
Kyle: Those drugs being there -- not his fault.
Jack: Thank you. I don't need you defending me.
Victor: No, Jack. You should be grateful to your son that he's ready to defend you, because by the time I'm done with you, they'll be very few people willing to come to your side.
Jack: [Chuckles] As always, overestimating your reach and power.
Victor: And as always, you are underestimating it. Summer could have died because of you. I lay the blame at your feet, and you will be held responsible. I'll make sure everyone knows about that. As you said quite aptly, the buck stops with the man at the top.
Jack: I couldn't agree more.
Kyle: Which is why I wanted to say to you -- I quit.
Jack: Uh--.
Victor: Really? Well, now, I'll be damned. You saved me the trouble of firing you, Kyle. You young bucks think you're really smart, don't you? Do you honestly believe that I wasn't aware of what you were doing while you were working for me? You were spying for your dad. Too bad. I had hopes for you. You're good at what you do.
Kyle: And I actually looked forward to working with you. But I did learn a lot at Newman-Chancellor.
Victor: Good.
Kyle: I'm gonna go work out. See you later.
Jack: You thought you could have my son. You couldn't. And now you're holding something over your own son's head to get what you really want -- your grandson. Too bad. Adam's leaving.
Victor: Is he now?
****
Adam: I'm gonna eat you! [Smooches] Come here. Come here. We got to have a little talk. I have to say goodbye for a little while. I would never be at peace with myself, I would never deserve your respect, and I would never get out from underneath your grandfather's thumb no matter how far away I go. I love you.
Connor: [Babbles]
Adam: I know. You love me, too. I love you so very much -- you and your mom. I'll be back with both of you as soon as I pay for my crime -- a crime that I need to face, a crime I'm ready to face.
Billy: This move to Paris means a lot to you. I can tell. And it should. And I'm sorry if I've been -- I'm just.
Chelsea: No, no. It's okay. It's okay. I just want to leave on good terms, or as good as possible. [Sighs] Every day for the rest of our lives, Adam and I will think about Delia, about what your loss meant to us and our son.
Johnny: [Crying]
Victoria: Well, I guess Johnny didn't want to miss saying goodbye to you. Okay. You want to?
Chelsea: Yeah.
Victoria: Okay. He's such a little stinker. You should see --
[Indistinct conversation]
Dylan: Okay. Hey.
Nikki: Hey.
Dylan: Did you get my message? That Indiana was a dead end? I know that's what you were hoping for, and it's okay, 'cause I've decided that maybe it's for the best I didn't find Ian Ward.
Nikki: Well, Ian found me. He's here in Genoa City.
Victor: You have got plenty of your own problems to deal with, Jack. Lots on your plate. You're gonna have to deal with that before you insert yourself into my business.
Jack: Your business is treating your son like dirt his entire life. Finally walking away, turning his back on you, and setting his life in a new direction.
Victor: That boy is very pragmatic. In the end, he'll make a pragmatic decision.
Victoria: Billy. Where is he? [Chuckles] So weird.
Chelsea: Oh. You know what? Maybe I upset him.
Victoria: Oh, no. You know what? He was already having a bad night before you got here. I'm sure he just went somewhere to blow off some steam or something. So, you're making some, uh, pretty big moves -- marriage, moving to Paris. Are you sure you've thought all this through?
Chelsea: Paris was always the dream. It just got sidetracked there for a little while.
Victoria: But it'll give you a chance to start over.
Chelsea: In the most romantic city in the world. Adam and I can fall in love with each other all over again, and this time, with our son.
Victoria: Yeah.
Chelsea: Honestly, things couldn't be better. May I?
Victoria: Yeah.
Chelsea: Hey. Hi, buddy. Oh! You are so big compared to Connor, aren't you? Oh, Johnny, you will always be my firstborn. And I am so happy that you are gonna have the best life ever with your mommy and daddy. They are gonna take care of you and give you everything you could ever want. You be a good boy, okay? Always listen to them, okay? [Chuckles] I love you. [Sighs] Maybe one day down the line, you and Billy will, uh, let our kids be part of each other's families, huh?
Victoria: Oh, you already are.
Chelsea: Even if there's a small part of you that's probably a little happy that I'm leaving? [Chuckles]
Victoria: There might have been a time when that was true, but you know what? Things have changed. You're a hands-on mom now. And Adam? Well, you know, he's trying. [Chuckles] I get the feeling that you and Connor are gonna be his first real shot at happiness.
Chelsea: Thanks. Oh, I'm gonna miss you guys.
Victoria: We're gonna miss you.
Chelsea: Huh? [Chuckles]
Adam: [Sniffles]
Next, on "The Young and the Restless"...
Chloe: What is he running from? What is he scared of, Chelsea?
Paul: Where the heck do you think you're going?
Kevin: Where do you think? To find Adam and get him alone.
Paul: You're going to do one job, and that is not blow this.
Adam: And I'm leaving.
Billy: Actually, no, you're not.
[Gun cocks]
Billy: You're coming with me.
