Episode # 10328 ~ News about Phyllis troubles Sharon; Chelsea's discovery could spell disaster for Adam.

Adam: The calla lilies are in bloom again.
Chelsea: Not in Wisconsin, they're not. You must have gone to a lot of trouble to find these.
Adam: You're worth it.
Chelsea: They're beautiful. Thank you. You were up and at 'em early this morning. I was hoping you'd stay in bed with me longer, considering Connor actually slept in for once.
Adam: Yeah. Well, this couldn't wait.
Chelsea: The flowers?
Adam: Something I've been needing to take care of for a while -- something I should have done before now.
Kevin: It means a lot, you putting me on Delia's case officially.
Paul: Well, I want it solved, whatever it takes.
Kevin: I may have to hack into a few sites -- see if I can find out anything new.
Paul: No, you won't.
Kevin: I won't? But you said I -- right. I won't do anything of the sort. I will find out what I can through entirely legitimate means.
Paul: It's too bad the supposed witness to the accident didn't pan out.
Kevin: You know, that's not entirely true. His description of what happened that night coincides perfectly with the G.C.P.D. timeline.
Paul: But the partial license-plate number he gave us didn't match any of the vehicles that could have been responsible.
Kevin: Still, I don't think he was lying.
Paul: How do you figure?
Kevin: Well, sometimes what you think and what you see are two different things.
Chelsea: What was so important that you had to take care of it right away?
Adam: You don't want to know.
Chelsea: Adam, please. If we're gonna make this work, I have to know what's going on. What did you need to take care of?
Adam: Okay. This.
Chelsea: Oh, my God. Adam... oh, my God.
Adam: You've said that twice now.
Chelsea: [Chuckles] It's -- it's breathtaking. Oh, my God.
Adam: That's three times.
Chelsea: [Laughs] It's -- it's amazing. But I want you to know I meant what I said before. I mean, I-I don't need the ring.
Adam: All right. In that case, I'll --
Chelsea: [Laughing] Don't even think about it! [Laughs]
Adam: Let me put this -- give me your hand. Come here. Now it's official.
Chelsea: Yeah. We're getting hitched. And this time nothing will break us apart.
Lauren: What do you mean, things aren't adding up? Why did you talk to Ronan?
Michael: Uh, he was calling me back, actually. I needed an in with the FBI.
Lauren: For what purpose?
Michael: To find the medical examiner who performed the autopsy on Carmine.
Lauren: He's missing?
Michael: Apparently, he left his job here for a position with the F.B.I. within days of filing his report. And then he went "Undercover."
Lauren: Why would a medical examiner need to go undercover?
Michael: That's a good question.
Chloe: Turn. Yes. Perfect. Oh, I love it. You look awesome.
Summer: Yay!
Chloe: Oh, my -- no! No, no, no, no, no! You're not gonna put the light there! No. They have to look skinny, not fat.
Esmerelda: Talk about a major turnaround. You can actually see your eyes instead of your eyelids. You took one of those energy pills I gave you, didn't you?
Summer: No.
Esmerelda: Liar. I know you did.
Summer: I took three.
Esmerelda: Three? No way.
Summer: I had to. I got up super early to go over to my friend's house -- well, my ex-friend. I don't really know what he is. But I got super grumpy because we kind of struck out, and I was not gonna lose my job over that, but now, thanks to you, I am wide awake and I am ready to work. Okay, guys. Let's get this show on the road.
Jack: Well, I'm glad you caught me. I was just on my way out.
Sharon: Okay. I'll make it quick, then. I have to get to a photo shoot. I just wanted to stop by and say thank you.
Jack: For what?
Sharon: Well, Neil told me that you refused to sign any contracts with modeling agencies that take more than a standard percentage from their clients.
Jack: Jabot looks out for its employees. My dad wouldn't have had it any other way. Neither would I, particularly when one of those employees is my own daughter. [Chuckles] I cannot tell you how much fun it is to have Summer working for the company. It's just great -- having some responsibility for her life in a way I couldn't when she was younger, and, I'm telling you, I'm starting to see a bit of Abbott in her, around the eyes, especially, like Traci when she was younger. Certainly has Ashley's determination.
[Cell phone rings]
Jack: Sorry. Oh. This is Phyllis' doctor. Dr. Rubenstein? This is Jack. She is? Yes. Yes. That is the best news I've had in a long time! Yeah. Thank you very much for the call. Bye.
Sharon: Phyllis woke up?!
Jack: Nothing quite that good. No. A while ago, I told the doctor Phyllis is a great music lover. Shortly before the accident, there was this song out called "Wait," and she listened to it over and over again, and every time, this tough, strong-willed woman would dissolve to a puddle of tears. I teased her about it mercilessly. But in truth, there was something very sweet about it. Anyway, I told the doctor about it, and he has been playing "Wait" at her bedside, and she responded.
Sharon: Wait. She responded how?
Jack: A change in her brain-wave pattern.
Sharon: What does that mean, exactly?
Jack: I don't really know. But the doctor said it's very positive. It's not, you know, purposeful movement or opening her eyes, but it's a step in the right direction.
Sharon: Oh! Well, that's...wonderful!
Jack: It is. Maybe I should call Summer and tell her about this.
Sharon: Oh, you know what? I'm on my way to see Summer at the shoot, so why don't I give her the news?
Jack: You know what? Better I tell her about it. I don't want her getting it all blown out of proportion and then being disappointed when there's no more improvements. Believe me, I know how difficult it is to face disappointment and still hold on to hope.
Lauren: So, does this medical-examiner business have anything to do with Fen's case? I mean, is there something there that you can use to defend him?
Michael: On the surface, it wouldn't seem so. But Paul found it curious that the doctor who autopsied Carmine was not the G.C.P.D.'s regular medical examiner.
Lauren: But why would they bring in somebody else? I mean, who hired him?
Michael: That information is not readily available. We're still trying to track it down.
Fenmore: Wait. Track what down?
Lauren: Oh. Uh, Dad is just working hard on your case, Baby.
Fenmore: There's no way out of this.
Michael: Oh, don't be like that. I'm about to take off to the station to go over the evidence again.
Lauren: Yeah, and I'm gonna go to work. I have some business at Fenmore, so... I-I could stay home.
Fenmore: And what -- stay here to babysit me? It's not like I can get into any trouble or anything.
Lauren: Yeah, but remember that cake that showed up anonymously with "Forget-me-not" on it and that guy Womack who's after you?
Fenmore: Womack is still behind bars.
Lauren: But his friends aren't.
Fenmore: Look, if they wanted to hurt me, they would have done it already. Seriously, Mom, I'm a grown-up. I'll be fine. Don't worry.
Lauren: All right, but if anything even remotely suspicious happens, you're gonna call me, right?
Fenmore: I will call you right away.
Lauren: All right.
Fenmore: All right.
Lauren: I love you.
Fenmore: I love you, too.
Lauren: Bye. I'll see you soon. Bye, Sweetheart.
Fenmore: [Sighs] You don't have to stay, either.
Michael: How you holding up?
Fenmore: How do you think? [Chuckles]
Michael: I really wish I could do something more immediate for you.
Fenmore: Dad, you're doing all that you can. Don't go overboard with it.
Michael: How could I not?
Kevin: You know, when the eyewitness first came forward, I'd have believed anything he had to say. I was so eager for this case to be solved for Chloe's sake, you know? But the more I thought about it, the more I realized what he was saying made a lot of sense.
Paul: Okay. Go on.
Kevin: Well, what if he was right about seeing the license plate, just wrong about what he saw?
Paul: Well, according to the report, the guy was adamant that the first letter in the plate was a "G."
Kevin: Yeah, and during my last eye exam, I was adamant that I saw a "D" when, in reality, it was an "O." Think about it, Paul. From the distance he was at, he thinks he saw a "G," but it could have been a "Q" or a "C."
Paul: Well, I'm just gonna guess that you're not here to ask my permission to test this theory.
Kevin: Ah. You are correct.
Paul: [Chuckles]
Kevin: I already started a search -- license plates registered to black SUVs with any letter that could resemble a "G" -- "Q's," "C's," "O's," even 6's and 8'S. D.M.V.'s gonna have a list for me later today.
Paul: That's really good work, Kevin.
Kevin: Thanks. I think this is it, Paul. This is gonna pan out for us.
Paul: I hope so.
Kevin: And by now, the guy who hit Delia probably thinks he's gotten away with it. He's never gonna see this coming. [Chuckles]
Adam: See? Not all surprises are bad.
Chelsea: I mean, the last ring was beautiful, but you really outdid yourself this time.
Adam: I wanted to do everything...better this time around -- make up for my mistakes.
Chelsea: We both made mistakes.
Adam: Yeah. You made yours after I walked out on a promise. We would have been living in Paris right now. Remember, I booked a room at the Hôtel Athénée?
Chelsea: Mm-hmm, because I had told you that I used to hang out in that lobby and just pretend that I was staying there.
Adam: Yep. We would have made that our home base while we looked around for a permanent place to live overlooking the Seine or the Eiffel Tower.
Chelsea: Mm. It was a nice dream while it lasted.
Adam: It doesn't have to be a dream.
Chelsea: What are you saying?
Adam: Let's make good on that promise. Let's move to Paris.
Gloria: So, Chloe and Chelsea will make an appearance, and yours truly, of course, so we expect nothing less than an "A"-list event.
Lauren: [Sighs]
Gloria: George and Sandra? Brangelina? Matt and Ben? Matt and Ben would be nice. I'm assuming that you can, uh, deliver on all of this?
Lauren: [Sighs]
Gloria: Mm-hmm. Lauren, listen to me -- I stuck my neck out for you. I persuaded Jabot to unveil our new fashion line at your store, so please -- please -- try to focus.
Lauren: Gloria, I'm really sorry.
Gloria: Mm-hmm.
Lauren: I am really trying to keep my mind on work, but with Fen in trouble, it's just -- it's really hard.
Gloria: You know, there is only one way to deal with trouble -- think about it tomorrow.
Lauren: Well, Scarlett...
Gloria: [Chuckles]
Lauren: ...It's easy for you to say. You don't have a son who's facing years behind bars. All right. Never -- never mind.
Gloria: It is because of what I went through with Michael that I am uniquely qualified to give you advice, and you would be wise to listen.
Lauren: Okay. What is it? What? Oh, we're fixing my life with blush?
Gloria: Yeah.
Lauren: This is good.
Gloria: Yeah. Have you looked in a mirror lately? You are pale as a -- oh, come on, Lauren. When you look better, you feel better, and that sends a message to everyone around you that you are confident and that all will be well. Take it from your mother-in-law. As haggard and drawn and pale as you look now, nothing is so terrible that it can't be covered up.
Kevin: I'm glad you stopped by. I've been so busy, I haven't had a chance to call. How is Fen doing?
Michael: He's trying to stay strong, but he's obviously terrified.
Kevin: Yeah? Well, I still don't get why he's facing charges. He did the world a favor by taking out that dirt bag Carmine.
Paul: Well, we didn't hire you for your opinion, so why don't you get back to the work we are paying you for?
Kevin: All right. I will let you know as soon as I find something. You hang in there.
Michael: I heard back from Ronan.
Paul: And?
Michael: Well, interestingly enough, as soon as the medical examiner left Genoa City, he went undercover.
Paul: [Chuckles] And what -- you think there's something suspicious about that?
Michael: [Chuckles] It seems an awfully convenient way to avoid answering questions. It seems like the feds do not want this guy talking to anybody.
Paul: Or he could just be working on a case of an extremely sensitive nature. Look, Michael, I know where you're going with this, but either way, I don't see how it affects Fen. He had gunpowder residue and blood on his Jacket, he had means, motive, and opportunity to commit the crime, and he confessed. I mean, the facts are the facts.
Michael: Unless they're not.
Chloe: Great. Great. Okay, quick -- over the shoulder. Yeah. Yeah. Like, a little twirl or something. Yoo! Yes! I love it! Oh, my gosh. You're so adorable -- so cute.
Cameraman: All right. That should do it for this setup.
Chloe: Okay. All right. Uh, break?
Cameraman: A quick one.
Chloe: All right. Hey, you look amazing. I'm so happy.
Summer: Thank you. [Sighs]
Esmerelda: Are you okay?
Summer: Yeah. Um...I'm just a little out of breath right now, so I'm gonna go get some air.
Esmerelda: Okay.
Chloe: Uh, no. You know what? I want to hold off and wait for Chelsea to get here -- have her choose the next look.
Cameraman: Can't you just pick something yourself?
Chloe: Uh, yeah. I've already done that. Now it's Chelsea's turn. You know, I mean, we are partners, 50/50, which means what's mine is hers and what's hers is mine.
Chelsea: You want to move to Paris? What about Connor?
Adam: I'm...not certain, but I-I think they do allow small children and babies in Paris, you know. He can grow up bilingual. He can grow up with an appreciation for the art and architecture and pretentious movies and overpriced wine.
Chelsea: As sweet as it is for you to want to make up for a broken promise, I mean, you know, things are different now. We're different. I have my fashion line. You have your hedge fund. I mean, we have a real future for us here now.
Adam: But we also have a past -- people, things.
Chelsea: You mean Dylan?
Adam: Well... there's my father. We wouldn't have to worry about him surprising us, showing up, try and sink his claws into our son or trying to mold him into the next whatever.
Chelsea: Adam, but, you know, to uproot Connor right now so soon after his transplant? I mean, all of his doctors are here.
Adam: There's doctors in Paris, Chelsea.
Chelsea: Adam, I don't know.
Adam: Chelsea, hey -- we can do this. We can make a fresh start.
[Doorbell rings]
Chelsea: Uh, I'll get it.
Chelsea: Jack, hi.
Jack: Hey. Sorry to drop by unannounced. Am I interrupting anything?
Chelsea: Uh, no, not at all. Actually, I'm late to a photo shoot, so I got to go, but see ya. And we will finish this later?
Adam: Yeah?
Chelsea: Okay. Bye. See ya.
Adam: How you doing?
Jack: Things are looking up for me -- company's flourishing, Phyllis is starting to show signs of real progress.
Adam: That's really good to hear.
Jack: Only one thing's bothering me -- Victor's visit to the church yesterday. I want to know why the hell you didn't throw him out on his ass.
Adam: I allowed the old man to stay because I didn't want some big blowout in front of my kid.
Jack: A blowout seems like a small price to pay to keep Victor away from Connor.
Adam: Yeah, but then he misses the opportunity to see you named as Connor's legal guardian. That in and of itself is worth his price of admission.
Jack: Okay. Even if I believed you meant that, it doesn't explain why you let that man hold your son in his arms.
Adam: It's just a moment in time. Didn't mean anything.
Jack: Didn't mean anything? He all but laid claim to your son. I don't know how you could stand it.
Adam: I did what I had to do for my son in the moment.
Jack: Until yesterday, that meant staying as far away from Victor as possible. What changed?
Adam: Nothing has changed, Jack, okay?
Jack: Then why were you so anxious to be alone with Victor? Why did you want me to leave? What did you two talk about?
Adam: What do you think? We talked about how much we love one another.
Jack: Okay. Whatever it was, it was a continuation of a conversation that began before the naming ceremony, and that conversation is why you didn't kick him out. Victor has something on you, doesn't he?
Adam: [Sniffs]
Jack: What is it?!
Chelsea: Hi. Sorry I'm late. I got caught up with something at home. I lost track of time.
Chloe: Oh, all right. Well, you can just choose the next two looks for the next setup.
Chelsea: Sure. No problem. Let's see here.
Chloe: And you need not take so long, 'cause it's kind of rude to keep people waiting.
Chelsea: Okay, what's going on? Are you still upset about yesterday? You seem angry.
Chloe: I'm blind with rage. And wow. Uh, maybe [Chuckles] I'm just being blinded by that huge rock that's in my face. So, I guess you're marrying him for sure, huh?
Chelsea: I meant what I said, Chloe. I love Adam. We're a family now.
Chloe: Victor comes with the package.
Chelsea: No. No. Not anymore.
Chloe: Don't you see that this whole thing is a setup -- that Adam has ingratiated himself into your life, telling you all the things that you want to hear, including that he's through with his father?
Chelsea: He is through, Chloe.
Chloe: Okay. Well, then, why did he let Victor stay at Connor's naming ceremony? I mean, next thing you know, Adam's gonna have him at the ranch and for sleepovers and holidays, and then he's probably gonna be living there and being raised as a Newman.
Chelsea: No. That won't happen. Adam won't let it.
Chloe: He's already given Victor an opening.
Chelsea: No. Adam's doing everything in his power to keep Connor from Victor -- so much so that he's suggesting that maybe we should --
Sharon: Um, hi, girls. How's the shoot going?
Chloe: It's -- it's great, actually. Um, yeah. Summer's doing such a great job.
Sharon: Hmm. Where is she?
Summer: [Breathing shallowly]
[Cell phone rings]
Fenmore: [Sighs] Yeah, right. Damn it, Summer. How many times do I have to tell you to leave me alone before I get it?
Summer: Fen. Fen.
Fenmore: Summer?
Summer: Fen, I'm sorry. I can't -- [Breathing shallowly]
Fenmore: Summer, Summer, what's going on? Are you all right? Summer? Hello?
Michael: Just a minute. What if there's more to the story than that? What if the missing crime-scene photos and the medical examiner disappearing -- what if they aren't coincidental?
Paul: He didn't disappear. He's on assignment.
Michael: Supposedly.
Paul: Michael, what did Ronan say?
Michael: No, no, no. Just hear me out. The reason I'm so anxious to see those crime-scene photos and to talk to the medical examiner is because I want to see the angle of the gunshot wound that killed Carmine. I want to know if there's more than one bullet.
Paul: And -- and more than one shooter?
Michael: Yes.
Paul: [Sighs] You're reaching.
Michael: Could be. I don't know. But the fact that that surveillance camera wasn't working, on top of the missing evidence, makes it at least possible that there was someone else in that alley that night -- someone who came in after Fenmore but before I found the body.
Paul: Even if that's true, and that's a very big "If," there's nothing to back it up. Williams. Damn it. When did this happen? All right. Do what you have to do. Great. Fen just made one hell of a mistake.
Lauren: Michael and I have tried covering up. It's gonna take a hell of a lot more than a cosmetic fix to help Fen.
Gloria: You know, sometimes a shift can open a whole new window on the world.
Lauren: What is this -- a philosophy according to Gloria?
Gloria: Mm, not really. Got it out of a fortune cookie last night at Fong's.
Lauren: Ohh.
Gloria: [Chuckles] But... truer words were never spoken.
Lauren: You're right. I'll keep it in mind.
Gloria: Sweetie, I know how terrifying this is. I am scared to death for Fen. But we are not powerless. Remember that. As long as we have our -- our fighting spirit and each other... we'll find our way through this.
Lauren: Thank you. You really can be a wise woman.
Gloria: Ohh.
[Both laugh]
Gloria: Well, thank you.
[Both laugh]
Gloria: Don't you forget it.
Lauren: Ohh.
Gloria: [Laughs] And, Lauren...
Lauren: Yes?
Gloria: ...Why don't you take this with you? You could use a little more.
Lauren: Okay.
Gloria: [Sighs] Oh, God.
Kevin: Yes, yes. You are the fairest of them all.
Gloria: [Chuckles] And I don't need a mirror to tell me because I have you. You just missed your sister-in-law, but you didn't miss very much. Lauren's not a lot of fun these days.
Kevin: Okay. I just saw Michael, and, no surprise, he's going through hell, too.
Gloria: Yeah. Well, thank God at least one man in this family's on track.
Kevin: Who, me?
Gloria: Yes, you. You're the only beacon of light in this whole sea of blackness.
Kevin: What are you drinking?
Gloria: [Chuckles] I'm serious, Angel. You have a good, respectable job with that devilishly handsome Detective Chavez and you and Chloe are back together again. What? Come on. Tell Mumsy all about it.
Kevin: Do I have to?
Gloria: Yes. Sit. Talk. [Sighs]
Kevin: Uh, well... Chloe ended things. She didn't like that I was calling her out on her behavior.
Gloria: What behavior?
Kevin: She -- she wants something that she can't have.
Gloria: Which is?
Kevin: Her child back.
Chloe: I don't know where Summer is, but, I mean, she'd better show up soon because we need to finish this shoot. Hey, speaking of which, have you chosen your last two looks?
Chelsea: What do you think?
Chloe: Great. Love it. Love it. Awesome. Now I can go home.
Chelsea: Chloe, wait. Will you just hear me out for a second? I hate that you're mad at me.
Chloe: Yeah. I hate it, too.
Chelsea: It doesn't have to be like this. Look, I know that you don't think Adam is the greatest catch in the world, but he's not the worst person in the world, either.
Chloe: Are you sure about that? I mean, who gets to vote on it?
Chelsea: If you could just see him with Connor -- he's changed. He loves that little boy so much. And I swear to you, he would never let Victor help raise him. It just wouldn't happen. So, you don't have to worry about that.
Chloe: Okay. I'm sorry. I guess I got a little overprotective, you know, being the godmother and all.
Chelsea: I'm grateful that you're looking out for Connor and for me.
Chloe: Of course I am. You're my best friend. And, you know, if I'm being honest, I think that I was a little afraid that I was gonna lose you to Adam.
Chelsea: Chloe, never! You are always gonna be a part of my life -- and Connor's. And I actually told Adam that you're part of the package.
Chloe: [Chuckles]
Chelsea: It's non-negotiable. It's a deal-breaker.
Chloe: That's all I needed to hear.
Chelsea: Okay. Mm. Are you still leaving?
Chloe: Yeah. I got to get home. Exhausted. Been a long day.
Chelsea: You know what? Maybe I'll go, too. I want to get home to my fiancé. Hey, you guys, we're gonna leave the shoot in your capable hands. Cool?
Sharon: All right.
Chelsea: All right. Esmerelda, that's your next change, and will you make sure that Summer gets this, please?
Sharon: I will take care of everything.
Chelsea: Awesome. Thank you.
Chloe: Thanks, Guys. Bye.
Sharon: Bye.
Esmerelda: Oh, my God. I cannot wait to try this on.
Sharon: It is so cute.
Esmerelda: Look at the back.
Sharon: I love it. But I love the color of this one.
Fenmore: Hey. Where's Summer?
Sharon: I don't know. I was about to look for her myself. Why? What's going on?
Fenmore: She called me before, and she sounded out of breath. She couldn't even finish her sentences. I think she's in trouble.
Adam: I won't allow my father to hold anything over me.
Jack: Then what is going on here? I never understood the urgency in naming me Connor's legal guardian, and what was all the talk about if anything happened to you?
Adam: That's what they tell new parents, right -- prepare for the worst, hope for the best?
Jack: Then you were just being responsible?
Adam: There you go.
Jack: And your sudden desire for redemption, to be the better person -- that had nothing to do with something you had done that maybe Victor found out about?
Adam: Jack...
Jack: If you have misstepped here, Adam -- look, all I am saying is you have turned your life around, proposing to Chelsea, re-establishing the hedge fund to protect your family financially, reaching out to the community. Yes, I know about that. Billy told me. You're the one that set up the foundation in Delia's name.
Adam: Let's leave that out of this, okay?
Jack: Why? Why would you not claim a good deed, Adam? You are perfectly capable of being the man your mother always thought you were, the man you want to be. And if Victor is telling you otherwise, you can't listen to him!
Adam: Right now, Jack... I kind of have to.
Jack: Why?
Adam: Because my father does have something on me. He knows what I've done.
Jack: What did you do? Adam, what does Victor have on you? Talk to me. You can trust me. Adam, if Victor is gonna use this to wedge his way back into Connor's life, he's not going to give up. You're gonna have to fight him. You're gonna need me. I can help you.
Adam: Not this time.
Jack: Listen to me.
Adam: If you want to help me, Jack -- if you want to help -- just stop asking me questions about this. Honor the agreement that you signed. Please, Jack, just take care of my son if something happens to me.
Gloria: Ahh. Ohh. Mmm. Mm! Chloe! Come join us. Please, please, please, please. What a nice surprise. So nice to see you again. But I'm afraid it's gonna have to be short and sweet because I got to go.
Kevin: You do?
Gloria: Yep. Yep. Go on. Please sit down. The chair's all nice and warm for you.
Kevin: Go ahead. Sit. She's not gonna take "No" for an answer.
Gloria: Yes, sit. All right, Children. Goodbye. Kevin, do me a favor. Get a message to Alex for me.
Chloe: Alex?
Kevin: Don't ask.
Gloria: No estar embarazada mostrar su poison. Adios.
Kevin: I'm not 100% certain, but I think she just said, "Don't be pregnant to show your poison."
Chloe: [Chuckles] She's such a romantic.
Kevin: Hmm. [Sighs] Well, since you're here, can we talk?
Chloe: Uh, well, unless you want to talk about the weather or the latest fashion trends, I don't really think there's much to talk about.
Kevin: What if I wanted to tell you I was sorry for coming down so hard on you?
Chloe: Well, are you saying that you no longer think that I have an unhealthy obsession with Chelsea's son?
Kevin: Look, I just care about you a lot, and --
Chloe: Great. That's my answer.
Sharon: What exactly did she say?
Fenmore: Not much. Something about being sorry, but that was all I could make out. I knew she was coming here for her shoot, so I thought I'd better make sure she was okay.
Sharon: And when was the last time you saw her?
Esmerelda: Just after we finished the first setup. She said she needed some air.
Fenmore: You know, I'm gonna go look for her, all right?
Officer: Fenmore Baldwin, you're under arrest for violating the terms of your furlough.
Fenmore: No, no, no. I've got to go find my friend.
Officer: You're not going anywhere except to the station.
Fenmore: No, but something could be wro--
Officer: You have the right to remain silent.
Fenmore: Could you let me go?!
Sharon: Fen, don't worry! I'll find her! Come on, Summer. Answer.
[Cell phone ringing]
Jack: You hear that, Red? They say you can. Oh, Babe, I wish you could talk back to me. I need your advice. Adam's in some kind of trouble, and I can't figure out how to help him. Of course, if you could talk, you'd probably say... Adam got himself into his own trouble and he probably deserves whatever's coming to him, wouldn't you? [Sighs]
[Adam watching a video]
Adam: My name is Victor Adam Newman Jr. It is November 4, 2013... and I am confessing to the hit-and-run murder of Delia Abbott.
[Connor crying]
Adam: Daddy's coming, little guy.
Chloe: Thanks.
Kevin: Hey. Please don't give up on me.
Chloe: Why? You gave up on me.
Kevin: That is not true.
Chloe: Kevin, do you think I'm a crazy stalker lady?
Kevin: No. I think that you're hurting because you lost your daughter and you need to find a way to go on. I'm gonna help bring that to you.
Chloe: How? What do you mean?
Kevin: Just trust me on this. I'm gonna do everything I can to bring you peace of mind.

Paul: You know, this is bad news all the way around. Not only has Fen escaped, but since you accepted to take responsibility for him during his house arrest, you also bear the legal burden.

Michael: Fenmore!
Lauren: Oh, my God! What happened?
Michael: Where did you go?

Sharon: Summer?! Summer?! [Gasps] Phyllis. No. Oh, God, no.

Victoria: Kelly, hi.
Kelly: Victoria, there's something that I need to say.
Sharon: Summer? Can you hear me? Call 911!
