Paul: Hey. What's this?
Michael: A gift.
Lauren: They were outside our door when we came back from dinner.
Michael: Go ahead.
Paul: "I only feel alive when I'm with you. Carmine."
Michael: First the text, and now the flowers.
Paul: Well, Kevin was able to trace the location of the text. It was from a bar in Elkhorn. No sign of Carmine.
Michael: No sign of anything?
Lauren: [Sighs ] So, we have no idea where he is...but he knows exactly where I am.
Paul: Lauren, he can't stay hidden forever. We're going to find him.
Michael: Not if I find him first.
Nick: You want to get married right away? When, exactly?
Avery: Uh, I don't know. Soon.
Nick: That doesn't narrow it down.
Avery: I know. I'm sorry. I'm not being very clear.
Nick: It's just, you know, we -- we canceled everything so you had time to organize the perfect ceremony.
Avery: Yes, well, it doesn't have to be extravagant to be perfect. It has to be you. I want to marry you.
Nick: All right, did something happen to make you change your mind about postponing?
Avery: [Sighs] Jack and I talked a lot in Georgia, and he told me about all the time he and Phyllis wasted -- you know, all the regrets with petty, pointless arguments -- and he wishes more than anything he didn't wait to propose to her.
Nick: It doesn't seem fair -- you know, everything was going right for them, and now it's all on hold.
Avery: And I don't want our future on hold. I don't want to have regrets. I love you. I want to share our life together...unless there's a reason you don't want to.
Noah: So, why did you run a red light so close to the ballroom when you weren't headed that way?
Sharon: It was yellow. I thought I had enough time to get through the intersection before it changed.
Noah: Where were you going in such a rush?
Sharon: I told you -- Faith's babysitter Amy had to go, and I ended up spending more time at the cemetery with Cassie than I had planned.
Noah: So Faith needed you?
Sharon: Exactly. There was an accident near the cemetery, so I decided to cut through downtown instead. I thought it would be quicker. Why the third degree?
Noah: I just -- I'm not. I-I worry about you. I want you to be safe. That's all.
Sharon: Noah, it's not as though I was juggling knives, blindfolded. I accidentally went through a red light.
Noah: I just want you to be more careful. All right? I mean, you could have caused an accident that night.
Jack: Jill, what a surprise. Come on in.
Jill: Thank you. I'm sorry that I didn't call first. I was actually looking for Billy.
Jack: Well, he's not here.
Jill: [Sighs ] Do you know when he'll be back?
Jack: He usually doesn't get back from the restaurant till pretty late.
Jill: Oh, of course. What was I thinking?
Jack: What is it? Is there something I can help you with?
Jill: You can...turn back the clock.
Jack: Beg your pardon?
Jill: I need more time with her.
Jack: With who?
Jill: [Voice breaking] With Katherine.
Jack: Oh, no.
Jill: She's gone.
Jack: [Sighs]
Nick: Of course, I want to marry you. Are you kidding me? I'd marry you right now if you let me.
Avery: Really?
Nick: Absolutely. Say the word, and I will get a minister, a justice of the peace, a ship's captain.
Avery: Ooh.
Nick: Say the word. I'll get somebody in this living room. They'll marry us right now.
Avery: You would marry me right now? Right here? Dressed like this?
Nick: Think about it. It'd be the hottest ceremony that Judge McKinsey ever officiated.
Avery: Hmm.
Nick: And we are basically dressed for our honeymoon, so let's do it.
Avery: Well, that is tempting. That's very tempting.
Nick: Mm-hmm.
Avery: But we can’t.
Nick: Why? We have a hot bride. We have a...average groom.
Avery: [Chuckles] We don't have your family. And I think we need them here to start our life together -- especially your kids.
Nick: Right. You know, I never thought I could love you more than I do, but I was wrong.
Sharon: I shouldn't have been driving so recklessly. [Clears throat] But Faith's had a hard time sleeping lately, and I really wanted to be there for her.
Noah: Yeah, I know, and Phyllis' accident has probably given her more nightmares.
Sharon: And she's picking up on Summer's sadness.
Noah: It's hard not to. It's weird...how your whole life can just... [Snaps fingers] ...Change just like that. I mean, one minute, Phyllis is fine, and then the next...
Sharon: Yeah, it's tough the way your life can sometimes just take a wrong turn.
Noah: Which is why I don't want you running red lights.
Sharon: Noah, I'm fine. Nothing happened to me.
Noah: I know. I know. But something could have. You know, I mean, who would have thought that Phyllis would end up in a coma that night? [Chuckling] Hey. Look who's up. Hey, isn't your little friend here supposed to help you fall asleep?
Sharon: Sweetie, what are you doing out of bed?
Faith: I'm thirsty.
Sharon: Oh, well, I put some water by your bedside.
Faith: But I want warm milk, like Daddy makes.
Sharon: [Chuckles] Okay, well, why don't you get the milk out of the fridge? I'll be right there.
Noah: Mom, please be careful, okay? I don't want Faith to ever have to go through what Summer's going through right now.
Kyle: Hey, thanks for meeting me.
Summer: Look, if this is about your date the other night, I told you -- I am fine with you dating other girls.
Kyle: I just don't want things to be weird between us.
Summer: [Scoffs] Kyle, we liked each other -- like-liked each other -- and then we find out that we're brother and sister. It doesn't really get much weirder than that.
Kyle: Well, I think I found a way to make things less awkward, at least.
Summer: You can't just change facts.
Kyle: No, but I can make them easier for everyone to deal with.
Summer: How?
Kyle: By moving out of Dad's house.
Summer: What is that gonna help?
Kyle: Well, I think if I'm not there, you'll feel more comfortable coming over, and that'll give you and him a chance to get to know each other. Maybe you can even move back in.
Summer: No. No, no, no.
Kyle: Oh, come on. Why not? You know he'd love to have you there.
Summer: No, I think I am better off where I am right now.
Kyle: Summer, he missed out on your whole life. He deserves a chance to get to know you.
Summer: No. Kyle, please, just stop, okay? Stop trying to make me choose one dad over the other.
Jack: It's hard to imagine a world without Katherine in it.
Jill: I know. I know. Every time I think of it, it's just like a big blank.
Jack: Last I talked to her, she and Murphy were going off on a trip. Everything seemed fine.
Jill: Oh, yeah, fine for her. She was going on her dream vacation, leaving the rest of us back here with...false hopes and...and a damn sight more to say to her.
Jack: Oh, Jill, she knew how you felt about her.
Jill: [Groaning] Oh. She knew I was mad at her -- that's for sure -- for not trusting me with her company. I never got to tell her what I was thinking and feeling deep down. [Voice breaking] No. She had no right to deprive me of that. How could she do that to me? She never gave me the chance to tell her that no matter how mad I was at her, I loved her, and I would always love her...and that I didn't care about DNA. She was like my mother, okay? No, that was on my bucket list -- to tell her that. And I don't get a chance to check it off.
Jack: She knew.
Jill: [Sobs]
Jack: She knew.
Jill: [Sobs] Oh.
Jack: She knew.
Jill: [Sobs]
Paul: Michael, your family has had enough trouble with the law lately. You don't want to add to it by going after Carmine.
Lauren: Yeah, Honey, he's right.
Michael: Do not protect him! Now, look, I know how scared you are. I am not gonna allow Carmine to terrorize you anymore.
Paul: Look, we're doing everything we can to find him.
Michael: Which has amounted to nothing.
Paul: Okay, Michael. You know how this works. We put out an APB. We follow leads. It takes time.
Michael: I do. I understand that. You have to follow the rules. I don’t.
Paul: Oh, come on. You're not gonna make me waste valuable resources by putting a tail on you.
Michael: I'm not gonna give Carmine another chance to go after my wife.
Alex: You won't have to.
Paul: What do you got?
Alex: We ran a trace on that text that Mrs. Baldwin got. It came from a burner phone in a convenience store in Twin Lakes.
Paul: Okay, did you contact the local PD?
Alex: We sent a picture of Basco over, and we just heard from them.
Michael: They find anything?
Alex: Yep. Uh, Basco checked in at a Hillside inn. Gordon's in court, so Pulaski and I are gonna head over there.
Paul: All right. Keep me posted.
Alex: Okay.
Paul: Thanks.
Michael: I'll call you later.
Lauren: What?
Paul: Oh, oh, oh, no, you don’t.
Michael: Let go of me, Paul.
Paul: I'm not letting you go after --
Michael: You can't stop me!
Paul: Oh, the hell I can't!
Lauren: Michael!
Michael: [Grunts]
Lauren: Oh! Oh! You okay? [Handcuffs click] Are you all right?
Michael: [Sighs] Great. Carmine's out on the loose, and I'm handcuffed to a chair.
Paul: You punched the chief of police. You're lucky you're not in a cell.
Michael: Apparently not hard enough! Some friend.
Paul: Exactly.
Lauren: Michael, you're not helping.
Michael: What, you're against me, too?
Lauren: No. Nobody is against you.
Paul: Of course, we're not. What the hell has gotten into you?
Michael: A maniac tries to destroy my family -- oh, I tend to get a little berserk.
Paul: Oh, and that's gonna solve anything?
Michael: Look, getting Carmine off the streets is gonna solve everything.
Paul: And playing the vigilante is not. It's stupid and dangerous. You could get yourself seriously hurt. Why do I know you know that?
Michael: Oh, I know, and I'm still willing to go after him. That should tell you something.
Paul: Yeah, that I made the right choice by cuffing you to the chair.
Lauren: Can you just let the police do their job?
Michael: I am your husband! I am not going to let him get away with this!
Lauren: I --
Michael: The texts, the flowers!
Lauren: Okay, I'm okay. He is just trying to get inside your head, and don't let him.
[Cell phone ringing]
Lauren: It's an unknown caller.
Paul: You can start the trace on Lauren’s phone. Chavez set it up, so it's all right.
Lauren: Should I?
Paul: No.
Lauren: Okay?
Paul: Okay.
Lauren: Okay. Hello?
Jack: Lauren, its Jack.
Lauren: [Sighs] Jack, hi.
Jack: Listen, I'm sorry to bother you. I just had a visit from Jill. I think she needs you right now.
Lauren: What happened? Yeah, yeah, I'll get there as soon as I possibly can.
Michael: What? What's wrong?
Lauren: [Voice breaking] Katherine died. [Sighs]
Kyle: Summer, I didn't mean to make you feel like you're being forced to choose between Nick and Dad.
Summer: It's just whenever I spend any time with Jack, I know that it really hurts Nick, and even though I'm really mad at him for what he did, he was still a really good dad.
Kyle: And you love him.
Summer: I wish I didn’t. That would make things a lot easier. [Scoffs]
Kyle: Well, you can't control your heart.
Summer: I know.
Kyle: Look, Summer, everyone understands that you're in an impossible position, and I don't think that anyone is gonna judge you for spending time with Nick or with Dad. Nobody is keeping score here.
Summer: Have you met my grandpa?
Kyle: [Scoffs] Victor lives to hate Dad. You can't let that get in the way of you getting to know him or the rest of the Abbotts. They're your family.
Summer: Yeah, and so are the Newmans. I can't just turn my back on them.
Kyle: I'm not suggesting that you do.
Summer: Okay, well, there is no middle ground, Kyle. Okay, it just doesn't exist.
Kyle: There's no way I can convince you to move back in with Dad?
Summer: I just think that I'm better off at Mom's apartment right now. It's the only place where I won't feel like I have to choose between being an Abbott or being a Newman.
Avery: So, it's back to our original date, Newman.
Nick: I never wanted to postpone in the first place.
Avery: I know you didn’t. You have to call your family.
Nick: I will do that today.
Avery: And I will see what I can do about arranging a small ceremony and a party.
Nick: You know, my mother and Vick would love to help out and make it a grand party, if you would like.
Avery: In less than a week?
Nick: Did you see what they did with the M.S. fundraiser? It was off the chain. You know what? I'm -- I'm sorry. I didn't mean to remind you of Phyllis' accident.
Avery: No, no, it's okay. It's never far from my mind.
Nick: Me, either. Which is why we need something to make us smile. And watching you walk down that aisle will do that for me.
Avery: [Sighs] Okay, well, if I'm going to walk down that aisle to you, then I need to get going.
Nick: Where?
Avery: Uh, to my apartment, because the bride cannot stay here the week before the wedding.
Nick: Says who?
Avery: Says every superstitious person on the planet.
Nick: Well, that doesn't include us.
Avery: Well, I am not tempting fate. And just think about it -- all the anticipation will build for the wedding night. Mm.
Nick: Wait a minute. Are you telling me we can’t... have sex until the...the wedding?
Avery: It's a week.
Nick: You were just gone for a week.
Avery: I know, and look how that worked out.
Nick: That killed me, you know.
Avery: I know.
Nick: [Sighs]
Noah: "Chances are if he asks for some orange juice, he's gonna want a doughnut to go with it. The end."
Faith: Can we play a game?
Sharon: No, we've already played a lot of games tonight. It's well past your bedtime, so give Noah a hug. Say good night.
Noah: Hey, what is -- what is that little face you got there? What is -- did we not have fun tonight?
Faith: It would have been more fun if Daddy stayed.
Noah: [Chuckling] Oh, well, maybe next time, Sweetie.
Sharon: Okay, off you go.
Noah: Love. Hug. Huh? Oh, I love you, love you, love you so much.
Faith: I love you, too, even though you wouldn't play a game.
Noah: [Chuckling] Oh.
Sharon: [Chuckles] Nighty-night, Sweetie.
Noah: Next time. Aww, she sure misses Daddy.
Sharon: Yeah.
Noah: Oh, you know what? You never answered my question. Um, how come you never gave her that picture of him that you asked for? She said she'd never seen it.
Sharon: Noah, she has seen it. It's -- she left it laying around. I put it in my datebook for safekeeping. Again, why all these questions?
Noah: What questions?
Sharon: Well, first about my meds and then my driving and now this photo. I think you're getting the parent-child relationship mixed up a little again.
Noah: I'm worried about you, Mom.
Sharon: Okay, there's no need to be. Look -- I'm fine.
[Cell phone rings]
Noah: Hey, Dad. What's up?
Nick: Hey, what are you doing next Friday?
Noah: Um, I'm just working.
Nick: Well, can you get someone to cover your shift?
Noah: You want me to do something else?
Nick: Yeah, I want you to be my best man.
Noah: Whoa. Really? I thought that you and Avery had decided to --
Nick: Yeah, I know, but we changed our plans and for the last time. So, will you be there?
Noah: Of course. Yeah.
Nick: All right, good. I'll call you when I get all the details firmed up, but thanks, son.
Noah: Okay. Okay. Talk to you later.
Sharon: Everything all right with your dad?
Noah: Uh, yeah. Yeah. Um, he and Avery are getting married next Friday.
Avery: Summer, hi. I'm glad I ran into you. I was gonna call you.
Summer: Wait, nothing happened with Mom, did it?
Avery: No, no, no. It's all the same. Uh, I-I actually wanted to talk to you about something else.
Summer: Oh, um, okay.
Kyle: I'll see you later.
Summer: Yeah.
Avery: Thanks, Kyle. [Clears throat] Sorry, I didn't mean to chase him off.
Summer: No, I'm sure that he's glad that you showed up.
Avery: [Sighs] It's been tough, huh?
Summer: Yeah. Kyle wasn't just my boyfriend. He was somebody that I could talk to about anything, and... now it's just really awkward.
Avery: Well, I know it's not the same thing, but if you need someone to listen or to bake with...
Summer: I thought you said that you were here to talk to me about something.
Avery: Yes. Your dad and I have decided to go ahead with the wedding... next Friday, and we really both hope that you'll be there.
Summer: I-I don't know, Aunt Avery.
Avery: Summer, I'm not asking you as Nick's daughter. I'm asking you as my family -- my niece -- and, I hope, my maid of honor.
[Doorbell rings]
Jill: Isn't anybody gonna get that?
[Doorbell rings]
Jill: [Sobs]
Lauren: I'm so sorry.
Jill: [Sighs]
Paul: You know, there's never been a time where Katherine hasn't been a part of my life.
Michael: I know what you mean. It seemed like she'd always been there and always would be.
Paul: Yeah, I know. You get busy...with life. Forget the clock is ticking.
Michael: You forget time is not your friend.
Paul: You sure you don't want to go with Lauren?
Michael: I think my time is best spent making sure Carmine pays for his crimes.
Paul: [Sighs] Thank you. Michael, let me tell you something from the bottom of my heart. Shut the hell up. You know, you're just making matters worse for yourself. Statements like that can come back to haunt you.
Michael: All I care about right now is why Detective Chavez hasn't called. He must have made it to the motel by now.
Alex: [Grunts]
[Cell phone rings]
Paul: Chavez, what's up?
Alex: Basco's gone. But he left a message.
Sharon: I thought Nick and Avery had decided to postpone the wedding.
Noah: I think he was just giving Avery a chance to deal with Phyllis' accident.
Sharon: Well, I guess she has.
Noah: He loves her, Mom. He wants to spend his life with her.
Sharon: Yeah, well, there was a time when he wanted...
Noah: That was a long time ago.
Sharon: You know, when you love someone the way we did, it's never really over. That’s how Faith came into our lives. Even though Nick was married to Phyllis at the time, we couldn't deny our feelings.
Noah: And Dad will always have a special place in his heart for you, but he's with Avery now.
Sharon: I know.
Noah: I hope so, because next Friday, they're gonna be married.
Summer: I don't know what to say.
Avery: It would mean a lot to have you stand up for me.
Summer: I don't know. I just don't know if I can.
Avery: Is it because you're upset with your dad?
Summer: [Sighs] I wish it was that simple.
Avery: What do you mean?
Summer: I just miss the days when the biggest problem that I had with my dad was arguing about my curfew or boys. Now everything is just so complicated. I feel like I've stepped out of my normal teenage life and into this bottomless pit of weirdness.
Avery: What can I do to help?
Summer: [Sighs] Cut out my heart so I can't feel anything.
Avery: Oh, Honey, don't say that. You do not want to be a person who can't feel.
Summer: Yeah, I do. [Voice breaking] I'm sick of hurting and hurting others.
Avery: Who are you hurting?
Summer: Dad and Jack and -- you know, it's -- they both want to claim me as their daughter, and every time I try to choose one...I-I don't -- I just don't know what to do.
Avery: They both understand you're going through a very difficult situation.
Summer: It's not just them. I mean, even Grandpa tells me like, "You need to stay loyal to the Newmans." And then Traci and Abby -- they tell me they want me to be closer to the Abbotts. It's just all so weird.
Avery: Okay, listen. There are worse things in the world than being loved by so many people.
Summer: How am I supposed to be both a Newman and an Abbott?
Avery: Well, you already are, right? You just have to embrace both families.
Summer: How?
Avery: Baby steps. You start with something small like -- I don't know --- a small family get-together.
Summer: Like a wedding?
Avery: Like a wedding!
Summer: [Chuckles]
Avery: [Chuckling] Yeah.
Jack: Wow, it looks like you had as bad a day as I did.
Kyle: Yeah, well, I was trying to make things better, and I only ended up making them worse.
Jack: Well, you know, the Abbott charm can usually get you out of a lot of trouble.
Kyle: Abbott charm is the problem.
Jack: Summer?
Kyle: It's just killing me, Dad, seeing her like this.
Jack: She hasn't returned any of my calls.
Kyle: She's in that damn penthouse all by herself.
Jack: Oh, I hate the idea of her being alone.
Kyle: Yeah, me, too. That's why I offered to move out.
Jack: What?
Kyle: Well, I thought that if I wasn't here, she would feel more comfortable coming around. Give the two of you a chance to get to know each other.
Jack: You don't have to move out of this house so that I can have a relationship with my daughter.
Kyle: You don't have to worry about it. She said no.
Jack: Well, I appreciate the effort.
Kyle: [Chuckles] You still got me, for what it's worth.
Jack: It's worth a lot -- a hell of a lot.
Kyle: So, why was your day bad?
Jack: I got some terrible news. Katherine Chancellor died.
Kyle: That is a shock.
Jack: Yeah, it is. And a reminder of just how precious life is.
Kyle: I'm so sorry, Dad. I know she was a close friend of Grandpa's and of yours.
Jack: Yeah, she was. She's been a good friend to this family my whole life. I'm gonna miss her. And I'm glad you're not moving out. I am not ready to say goodbye to one more person that I love.
Jill: I am so sorry. I went to tell Billy, and then after I talked to Jack, I just couldn't face telling anybody else.
Lauren: Oh, I totally understand.
Jill: [Sighs]
Lauren: Jack really didn't say anything. What happened?
Jill: I don't know. All I know is what Murphy told me.
Lauren: Was he with her?
Jill: Oh, yeah. Murphy and Tucker were with her that night. They were the ones -- the only ones who knew how sick she was. [Sighs] She told the rest of us that her surgery was successful and that this trip was just to recuperate.
Lauren: Yeah, but that's Katherine -- doing things on her terms all the way to the end.
Jill: That's right. And the hell with the rest of us, right? To those who might have had something else they wanted to say to her, like "Goodbye" -- she didn't give us the chance -- any of us -- to do that.
Lauren: She wasn't trying to hurt you, Sis. She wanted you to remember her as she was -- strong and vital and not frail and weak. When was the last time you saw her?
Jill: It was -- it was right here. I was, uh, really angry that she had put Cane in charge of the company, because she promised me that position, and then she just up and changed the rules -- just like she did now. [Voice breaking] She made me believe that she was all right, and she knew damn well... and she should have told me, Lauren. I deserved to know that. [Sobbing]
Cassie: Are you worried about all the questions Noah’s been asking?
Sharon: I don't like lying to him.
Cassie: You couldn't tell him that you ran that red light because you were trying to stop Phyllis. She was gonna tell Dad that you changed Summer's paternity test.
Sharon: [Sighs] Noah would hate me. So would your dad. I worry that -- what if Noah starts putting things together -- the speeding ticket, Phyllis' fall, the paternity test.
Cassie: He has no way of knowing that any of those things are connected. Only two people do.
Sharon: Phyllis and me.
Cassie: And she can't say anything right now. But, Mom, if you don't pull things together, you'll be the reason why someone finds out the truth.
Sharon: I can't let that happen.
Cassie: Not if you want Dad back.
[Bottles clink]
Noah: Dad, I am so happy for you and Avery.
Nick: Thanks. Now, are you really here to congratulate me, or did you just want a free beer?
Noah: [Chuckles] Um, actually, just I want to talk to you about Mom.
Nick: Are you still worried that she's not taking her meds?
Noah: Um, no, I don't -- I don't think that's the problem.
Nick: You think you know what it is?
Noah: Yeah, uh, I'm pretty sure that it's you.
Nick: Me? Something I said or did?
Noah: Well, I know that you and Mom have been hanging out a lot with Faith.
Nick: Yeah, the three of us hanging out has given Faith some stability in this, you know, crazy time.
Noah: Mom may be reading more into it than that.
Nick: Like what?
Noah: Well, I was just with her, and I got the impression that she thinks that you might be headed back together.
Jill: Katherine cheated me... Out of telling her how much that -- out of telling her whatever I wanted to tell her. And I don't buy that she did it for me, okay? She never once tried to spare my feelings.
Lauren: Maybe she did it for herself.
Jill: Well... [Scoffs] ...That's much more likely.
Lauren: Because she was scared.
Jill: [Scoffs] Katherine Chancellor wasn't afraid of anything.
Lauren: You're right. She was fearless. But maybe there was just one thing that she was scared of. And that was saying goodbye. Can you imagine how hard that would have been for her -- for you?
Jill: For me, yeah -- about a million times.
Lauren: She couldn't do it. [Voice breaking] I mean, if I know Katherine, she made peace with leaving this world. She had an amazing life, right? [Sniffles] But she just couldn't bear to say goodbye to the people that she loved.
Jill: [Voice breaking] So she gets to just go sailing off into peace and -- and eternity, and we're left here alone?
Lauren: But we're not alone. Jill, we're lucky. We have each other. And Katherine -- I-I still feel her spirit here, don't you?
Jill: Yeah, she'll probably haunt me tonight.
Lauren: You said that your last conversation was here. Well, my first one was right here, too. Right over here. [Sniffles] She was standing there, and she said to me, "You are like a younger version of myself."
[Both laugh]
Jill: I'm not sure that was a compliment.
Lauren: Oh, we were so close. We had this very special and unique relationship. And here I'm finding that everybody had a special relationship with her.
Jill: Yeah, well, I sure had a unique one.
Lauren: Yes, you did. You know, I wish she was here right now, because she would tell me exactly what to do with this whole Carmine mess.
Jill: Oh, I am so sorry. Okay, Katherine, I get it. I get it. Here I am, feeling sorry for myself again, when I should be thinking of somebody with real problems.
Lauren: Well, hopefully, mine are ending really soon.
Paul: Oh. Hey, Steve, hold up a second. Um, you want to check the...
Alex: Figure he's talking about the video of him and your...
Paul: And, oh, another thing.
Alex: ...Your wife. Yeah, it's out on the internet. You can't erase it.
Michael: He's referring to my wife's life. He's saying that he'll never be out of it.
Alex: Whoa, whoa, whoa! Hey!
Paul: No, no, no!
Alex: Hey, what the hell's wrong with you?! This is evidence! It's useful.
Michael: Then why didn't you look at it?
Alex: Because I was waiting for the chief to get here.
Michael: Well, he's here. Check it.
Summer: Jack.
Jack: Hi.
Summer: Chinese?
Jack: Um...okay.
Summer: Somebody told me that if we -- if this was going to work, that I'd have give it a chance and take baby steps. So, I thought I'd start with some moo-shu pork.
Jack: Chinese.
Summer: Yeah. Um, are you hungry?
Jack: I'm starved.
Summer: Okay.
Kyle: Hey, Dad, who was at the, uh, door?
[Door closes]
Jack: You will never guess who brought us dinner, Kyle.
Kyle: I did not expect to see you here tonight.
Summer: Yeah, change in plans.
Kyle: Cool. Uh, what you got?
Summer: Uh, Chinese.
Kyle: I'll get plates.
Jack: Thanks, Son.
Kyle: Forks or chopsticks?
Both: Chopsti--
Jack: Chopsticks.
Kyle: [Chuckles]
Summer: [Chuckles]
Nick: So, Summer agreed to be your maid of honor?
Avery: Yes, I convinced her there was room in her heart for both you and Jack.
Nick: And Noah’s agreed to be my best man, so we're good to go.
Avery: Yes, we are. Then why don't you seem happy about that?
Nick: Oh, I was just, uh, thinking about something Noah said.
Avery: Something about us getting married?
Nick: No. Um, it's about Sharon. Uh, he said that she was, uh, just in a -- in a really bad place right now.
Avery: Do you have any idea why?
Nick: I think this thing with Summer's been really hard for her. I'm sure she's been wondering what might have been if, you know, I hadn't lied about the paternity test.
Avery: And are you wondering?
Nick: No. Not at all.
Avery: Okay, well, I'm sorry that Sharon is struggling, but you can't blame yourself for this. You deserve to be happy.
Nick: So does Sharon.
Avery: Mm-hmm. You found your happiness, and Sharon will, too.
Sharon: First Phyllis. Now Avery. It's like the Summers sisters have cast some spell over Nick.
Cassie: This is all my fault.
Sharon: Why would you say that?
Cassie: If I hadn't have left, you and Dad would still be together.
Sharon: Honey, you had no control over that. But your father marrying Avery -- I can do something about that.
Alex: Good, I think I got something.

Carmine: Nice try, Counselor. [Chuckles]
Michael: I am tired of these sick games. I should have killed him when I had the chance. I'm not gonna make the same mistake twice.
Paul: Michael.
Lauren: Sorry.
[Cell phone ringing]
Lauren: Jack? Hello? Hello?
Carmine: Hey, Gorgeous. Did you like my gift?
Jill: How could you do it? Hmm? How could you leave me, Katherine? [Thud] "And as you do, I want you to remember you're not getting rid of me this easily." [Sniffles] "I may not be able to be right there with you, but I'll still be watching...from another room." "From another room."
Next on "The Young and the Restless"...
Victor: Under no circumstances will jackass Abbott be father to my granddaughter.
Summer: Can you give me some advice on how to get out of being Avery’s maid of honor?
Chelsea: What do you want, Adam? Why should I come meet you?
