Episode # 9867 ~ Victor Plots Against Genevieve
Provided By Suzanne
Proofread By Emma
Genevieve: Ohayo Gozaimasu.
Victor: You picked up a few more phrases, I see.
Genevieve: (Laughs) I haven't learned "May I join you?" Yet.
Victor: Please. Would you like some tea?
Genevieve: Thank you.
Victor: All right.
Victor: There we go. I find it admirable that you are trying to learn Japanese.
Genevieve: I like to immerse myself completely in something when I'm experiencing it for the first time.
Victor: Then you understand it better, right?
Genevieve: And appreciate it.
Victor: Mm-hmm. I'm glad you tracked me down.
Genevieve: Yes, well, when you weren't in your room this morning, I just thought...
Victor: You did? (Laughs)
Genevieve: You might be here. (Laughs)
Victor: That makes me almost predictable.
Genevieve: Oh, no, you're hardly that.
Victor: Uh-huh.
Genevieve: Uh, take last night, for example... n-not what I expected.
Victor: You weren't disappointed now, were you?
Genevieve: Definitely not.
Victor: Mm-hmm. Did you sleep well?
Genevieve: Like a baby.
Victor: Ah.
Genevieve: You?
Victor: Haven't slept that well in years.
Genevieve: Ah. Change of scenery can do that for you.
Victor: Yes, I feel... rejuvenated, ready for business.
Genevieve: That's the interesting thing about you, Victor-- it's very hard to tell the difference between business and pleasure.
Victor: (Laughs) I guess sometimes it is, yeah.
(Cell phone rings)
Jill: Ashley. I was just about to call you. Listen, I have some very important news about Victor and Genevieve.
Ashley: What about them?
Jill: They're here, in Japan.
Ashley: Both of them?
Jill: Yep.
Ashley: Well, we knew that Genevieve was gonna be there, but Victor just started his own cosmetics company. He can't be going after the Mitsukoshi account.
Jill: I don't think that's what he's after.
Ashley: What? Do you think they're teaming up together to secure the deal for Beauty of Nature? Really?
Jill: Yeah, you could say that.
Ashley: Well, it doesn't even matter. Cane got us an in at the company.
Jill: Wow. That couldn't have been easy.
Ashley: Tucker and I tried a year or so ago. We couldn't get anywhere.
Jill: All right, so who is this person he made contact with?
Ashley: Well, apparently, he's a major stockholder at Mitsukoshi, and he's willing to listen to our pitch to only sell Jabot products exclusively in their stores.
Jill: Great, okay, give me his name and his phone number, and I'll get in touch with him.
Ashley: I'll let Cane give you the information.
Jill: Oh, okay. Put him on.
Ashley: He's not here.
Jill: I'll call him.
Cane: Or I could tell you in person.
Jill: (Laughs)
Jack: So they said it would take a couple of weeks to modify the car. Oh, by the way, I went with Abby's suggestion, the red. Make it easier to exceed the speed limit, don't you think?
Nikki: Yes. Um, I'm sorry, my mind was wa-wandering. What?
Jack: Yeah, I kind of noticed. Um, let me guess--Victor?
Nikki: He still has not gotten back to me over the text that I sent him. I stayed up all night waiting for him to come home, and he didn't.
Jack: I'm sorry.
Nikki: (Sighs) Yeah, but not surprised.
Jack: Nikk, you are one of the brightest, most beautiful, bravest women I know, and I will never understand why you let that jerk hurt you over and over and over again.
Nikki: Hey, have you had dinner yet?
Jack: We were in the middle of talking.
Nikki: Well, we can eat and talk. You still eat, don't you?
Jack: Yes.
Nikki: Perfect. Then since you don't have your fancy car yet, I can be your driver.
(Cell phone alert chimes)
Jack: Oh, saved by the text.
Nikki: (Sighs) It'll give me a chance to figure out if we're going to Gloworm or that new Thai restaurant downtown.
Jack: Actually, there is somewhere you can take me.
Nikki: Where?
Jack: Jabot.
Nikki: Jabot? At this hour?
Jack: You want to be my chauffeur or not?
Nikki: What's going on?
Jack: I know where Victor is.
Nikki: Where?
Jack: In Japan, with Genevieve.
Daisy: So... you know what it's like to be hated by your family.
Ricky: Like I said, big-time black sheep. My family hates me more than they do my crazy aunt, and she shot a guy-- twice.
Daisy: What'd you do to piss off your relatives?
Ricky: Oh, I was born to the wrong mom.
Daisy: Oh, you're the bastard kid?
Ricky: No, no, no. I, uh, I-I'm legit. It's just that she has some, uh, emotional issues.
Daisy: (Sighs) Join the club.
Ricky: (Chuckles) Well, I guess I don't have to ask what you did to get on your family's bad side.
Daisy: Well, I was blamed for a lot of stuff that wasn't my fault by people like Michael...
Ricky: Mm.
Daisy: Who, by the way, is not family.
Ricky: No, your--your half brother's half brother, but close enough.
Daisy: How do you know that?
Ricky: I have a computer and a TV and a data plan. You're all over the news.
Daisy: Guess I'm kind of famous.
Ricky: (Chuckles) Yeah. Maybe not in the best way. Just ask my boss.
Daisy: Who's your boss?
Ricky: (Sighs) Phyllis Newman.
Daisy: We're done. Hey, can I get a coffee to go? Thank you so much.
Ricky: (Sighs)
Michael: Wow. This is a moment I thought I'd never witness-- the two of you speechless.
Phyllis: Well, um, put it in your books, because I-I don't think you're going to see it again.
Michael: (Chuckles) Do I need to repeat the question?
Lauren: No. Nothing's going on.
Phyllis: Well, that's not entirely true.
Lauren: Phyllis.
Phyllis: No, um, here, Michael, look at--look at me. Uh, I'm glad that you are here, because there's, um, something I want to say to--to both of you, yeah.
Michael: Okay, okay, you know what? Just a minute. First, Lauren, I need to ask you a question.
Lauren: What did you want to ask me?
Michael: I know you saw Daisy at Crimson Lights earlier. I just wanted to make sure you were okay.
Lauren: Well, as long as Daisy is out of prison and in Genoa City, I'm never gonna be okay.
Michael: It bothers me that you try and hide how upset she makes you.
Lauren: There's nothing you can do about it.
Michael: I know. I want to make you feel safe. I can't.
Phyllis: This is-- this is not your fault. Um, that's what I wanted to talk to you two about. Uh...I know I apologized to you about bringing Daisy back into town, but that was-- that was before she was free. You accepted my apology.
Lauren: And it was a lot easier to understand why you would go for custody when she was in prison.
Phyllis: You told me this would blow up in my face, remember?
Lauren: You did what you thought was best for Lucy.
Phyllis: Nick told me that I-I go around reacting to things all the time. Usually I just end up hurting myself... but this time, people I really care about got hurt.
Michael: W-we know you never meant for that to happen.
Phyllis: Um, listen, I have no right to ask you this, but, um... I've lost so much recently. I-I can't lose you two... again. Is there anything I-- anything I could do to make this right? Just...
Nikki: So Victor's in Japan. I guess that's why he didn't come home last night.
Jack: He and Genevieve are in Tokyo as we speak.
Nikki: I know he wants to take Beauty of Nature from her and has for weeks. I'm sure that's why he's there.
Jack: And why he followed her to Paris?
Nikki: I knew about that trip.
Jack: But not this one.
Nikki: Well, we haven't exactly been on speaking terms lately.
Jack: I'm just saying, this is his M.O., Nikk-- the two of you have a disagreement, he takes off with another woman.
Nikki: Listen, do you still want me to drive you to Jabot? Because if you do, we gotta get started right now. You don't want to keep Ashley waiting.
Jack: (Exhales slowly)
Nikki: And, no, I'm not changing the subject. We just have to go.
Jack: No, I'm--I'm--
Nikki: Yeah, oh, hey, sorry. Go ahead.
Jack: Thank you.
Genevieve: So Victoria was right. You never intended to help me secure this contract.
Victor: My daughter's opinion of her father is not really unbiased.
Genevieve: And if you did help me, I can only imagine what you might want in return that I haven't already given you.
Victor: And I'm very grateful for that.
Genevieve: But you'll want Beauty of Nature, and I'm still not willing to let it go.
Victor: Well, then, we are at a stalemate, and I suggest that we clear the boards and start again.
Genevieve: I'm ready.
Victor: But not now. We have to do that on another day. I'm going back to Genoa City.
Genevieve: Now?
Victor: Calling a cab to take me to the airport.
Cane: His name is, uh, Kaito Yoshida. He's a relatively new stockholder, but he wields a lot of power.
Jill: He seems to have acquired a great deal of stock in a short amount of time.
Cane: Uh-huh, that seems to be what he does. He, uh, moves on large corporations, predominantly in the Far East, and then before you know it, he becomes a major player.
Jill: So have you spoken to him yet?
Cane: Yes. I have convinced him that Jabot is a viable and, uh, possibly lucrative alternative to Beauty of Nature.
Jill: Do you know how proud I am of you? I mean, Jack, Ashley, even Tucker wasn't able to get Abbott's foot in the door in the Asian market, and you've done it within a matter of weeks.
Cane: No. Well, it's not a done deal yet. We have to meet with him to discuss the specifics, okay, before he'll take us to the top guys at Mitsukoshi.
Jill: When will that happen?
Cane: Today. Actually, it's gonna be very soon. Do you, uh, do you want to come with me and do it?
Jill: I would love to.
Cane: Really?
Jill: I would love to see you in action.
Cane: All right.
Jill: Plus, I want to keep an eye on the competition.
Cane: Oh, you mean my mother.
Jill: Yes, your mother, Genevieve, and she's here on a mission, too.
Cane: Yeah, well, it looks like that she has wasted her trip.
Jill: Well, that would depend on what she's after.
Cane: Mm.
Victor: Aren't we all after the same thing?
Cane: (Sighs)
Ashley: Jack, hi! What are you doing? I would have come to you.
Jack: It was high time I made it back to the office.
Ashley: Okay, well, how does it feel being back?
Jack: Uh-- it feels good. Real good.
Ashley: Oh, sorry. Okay, well, it is where you belong.
Jack: Well, hearing that Victor was in Japan was all the motivation I needed to make it back to the office. So tell me, what else do you know about what he and Genevieve are up to in Japan?
Nikki: Oh, good, you made it up here.
Jack: I wish you two would stop treating me like an invalid.
Nikki: Now, Jack, I know you like women to fawn all over you. Hi, Ashley.
Ashley: Hi.
Jack: Nikki brought me here. She drove.
Ashley: Oh. Well, that was nice of you.
Jack: So go ahead. What is Victor up to in Japan?
Ashley: We're not really gonna know anything, you know, until we speak with Jill.
Nikki: I can step out if you would like.
Jack: No, no, no. You can talk in front of her.
Nikki: You know, there's a lot of people involved here that I care about, so I-I don't want to take any positions. I--
Jack: Ash, you can trust her.
Ashley: Okay. Uh, Cane and Jill are meeting with a major stockholder of Mitsukoshi. His name is Kaito Yoshida. Apparently, he has a lot of influence, and Cane is confident he's gonna be our entrée to the top executives, hopefully.
Jack: Yoshida... Yoshida. Thought I knew all the players.
Nikki: Well, Jack, you've been through a lot. You've gotta give yourself a chance to get up to speed.
Ashley: I'm sure we're gonna learn more about Mr. Yoshida after Cane and Jill meet with him.
Jack: Wh-what did Jill have to say about Victor and Genevieve?
Ashley: Just that they were both there, together.
Jack: Well, let's hope Cane's meeting goes well. Whatever those two are up to, it can't be good.
Jill: Oh, I doubt we're all here for the same reason.
Victor: So then you're not here about the Mitsukoshi contract.
Jill: Why would you even care? I mean, Newman's new cosmetics venture is barely off the ground.
Cane: I thought your only interest in the deal would be to see, uh, Jabot fail.
Victor: Now that would have been a good reason to come to Japan.
Jill: Well, I think that Jack's failure would only be a partial victory for you, and since you don't have a horse in this race, I have to guess that you're putting your money on someone else's horse. Don't be coy, Victor. I saw you and Genevieve with your heads together.
Victor: As usual, you give me far too much credit, Jill.
Jill: (Laughs)
Victor: Beauty of Nature, its success or failure, is in the hands of its new owner.
Genevieve: (Sighs)
Daisy: If you're spying on me, it's decaf.
Ricky: Look, I get why you'd want to stay away from all things Phyllis. I feel the same way.
Daisy: Then why do you work for her?
Ricky: Because "Restless Style" is a great gig, especially for a guy straight out of college with no experience.
Daisy: I'd rather starve than work for Phyllis Newman.
Ricky: But I'm a writer. I have to write, and I get to do that at "Restless Style," and if that means putting up with Phyllis being a--
Daisy: A bitch?
Ricky: Yes... (Sighs) But only until I get what I need.
Daisy: Well, I suggest you get what you need sooner rather than later. You can't trust Phyllis, not for a minute.
Michael: Okay, if you can't reach me, leave a message with Chantal. She'll know how to get in touch with me. Yes, thank you. I am sorry about that. Avery and I have been working round the clock on Daniel's case.
Phyllis: I really appreciate everything you're doing for Daniel and Lucy.
Michael: I'm just trying to make sure that little girl ends up in the right hands, because the wrong ones are--
Phyllis: The wrong hands-- that's a terrifying prospect. That needs to be avoided at all costs.
Lauren: You were just trying to protect your family from Daisy, and God knows I understand that. Look, I-I'm sorry, too, because I-I couldn't see past my own fear to see that you were just as scared to death as I was.
Phyllis: I should have found another way to protect Lucy.
Michael: We have a common enemy, and that's what we have to keep in mind now.
Phyllis: I'm glad that we are on the same team.
Lauren: Me, too.
Phyllis: So, um, I'm walking out. Are you-- are you--are you going? Okay.
Michael: I want to talk to Lauren for a minute.
Lauren: You know what? Can we do it at our club? 'Cause I think I left my watch there, okay?
Michael: Hmm? Oh, all right, sure.
Phyllis: Do you want to go?
Michael: Yeah, okay.
Phyllis: Come on, let's go.
Michael: All right, okay.
Phyllis: Let's go.
Michael: You coming?
Lauren: Uh...
Phyllis: Michael--
Lauren: Yeah, yeah.
Phyllis: Michael, come on. Michael!
Michael: All right! All right?
Victor: Kindly tell the driver I'll be going straight to the airport, all right? Thank you.
Jill: Leaving so soon?
Victor: Mm-hmm. My business here is finished.
Jill: It's too bad you didn't bring Nikki. You could have mixed business with pleasure.
Victor: Good luck with whatever business you're pursuing. You'll need it.
Jill: I told you. I told you he's up to something.
Cane: Isn't he always up to something?
Jill: You're gonna have to handle Yoshida on your own.
Cane: Where are you going?
Jill: I have to go back to Genoa City. There's something I have to take care of.
Cane: You think that's the best thing to do?
Jill: You'll do fine. But, Cane, if you see Genevieve--
Cane: The only person I plan on seeing is Kaito Yoshida.
Victor: Kindly tell the driver I'll be right out. I just need to get my briefcase. Well, it's all arranged.
Genevieve: Mm. Are you sure that I can't convince you to stay a little while longer?
Victor: I have matters to take care of in Genoa City, and you have business here, so... I enjoyed our time together. Thank you.
Genevieve: So did I, but you promised that you were gonna help me secure this contract.
Victor: I have done all I can.
Genevieve: Admit it, Victor. You were never going to hold up your end of the deal.
Victor: You know damn well that verbal contracts are very difficult to enforce, especially "She said, Victor Newman said," you know. Anyway, I've got to get going. Good luck.
Genevieve: I won't need luck.
Man: There you go.
Michael: Thank you.
Lauren: Well, I guess I left my watch at home.
Michael: Why didn't you tell me?
Lauren: What?
Michael: That you ran into Daisy.
Lauren: I can't come running to you every time I need protection. Besides, I believe the superhero efforts of saving me belong to Fen.
Michael: He's away, remember?
Lauren: How can I forget that? She's already taken Fen away from me, and I am not gonna let her take my freedom.
Michael: Lean on me.
Lauren: I need to know that I can do this myself.
Michael: Let's stay here tonight. Let's stay here tonight. Well, you know what? Let's have a romantic evening with just the two of us.
Lauren: No. If we run, she wins.
Michael: If it means you'll feel safe, I'll give her that victory.
Lauren: We have to beat her one battle at a time. Now let's go home.
Ricky: You taking off?
Daisy: Gotta get home to my baby. Don't want people to think I'm a bad mama.
Ricky: And by "People," do you mean Phyllis?
Daisy: Ooh, she's at the top of the list.
Ricky: (Chuckles) Why do you care so much what she thinks?
Daisy: I don't. I just know what she can do. She'll get up in court in front of a judge and tell him I left Lucy home alone, met some random guy for coffee. She's evil, capital "E." Watch your back.
Ricky: I will. Thanks.
Phyllis: What on earth are you doing?
Ricky: Having some coffee.
Phyllis: What would you have to talk about with Daisy?
Ricky: Weather, basketball... what it's like to be neighbors.
Cane: I'm expecting a Mr. Yoshida. Could you please, uh, send him to my table when he arrives? Thank you. (Exhales slowly)
Genevieve: Hello, Ethan.
Cane: Hello, Mom.
Genevieve: How are you?
Cane: I'm okay. I suppose I can't complain. How are you?
Genevieve: Never better. (Chuckles) So is this what it's come to? Just, uh, a polite exchange?
Cane: What did you expect?
Genevieve: You know, I've never expected anything in life, and consequently, I'm never disappointed.
Cane: Well, you know what they say-- you make your own bed, and then you--
Genevieve: You lie in it alone.
Cane: Yeah. Well, I have a meeting to prepare for.
Genevieve: So do I. Gee, what do you say in a situation like this? May the best Atkinson win.
Cane: But I've already won. I have Lily, I have Matty and Charlie, and I work for a lady I admire and I respect.
Genevieve: And when I first went after Beauty of Nature, I was thinking that I might be that lady. (Laughs) I don't know what I was thinking! My gosh, we're Atkinsons. We don't do happy endings, do we? I'm sorry, but you are going to lose this deal for Jabot.
Genevieve: Mr. Yoshida. Hello, this is Genevieve Atkinson calling. I'm the new owner of Beauty of Nature. I, um, I got your name from a friend. Well, I wanted to discuss the exclusive cosmetics deal with Mitsukoshi. Uh, I can meet now. Great. (Laughs) I'm at the Kabosu Teahouse. Great. See you then.
Ashley: So Victor's been working against Genevieve, trying to get Beauty of Nature back?
Nikki: Practically nonstop since he got out of prison.
Jack: It does kind of beg the question, doesn't it? What are the two of them doing together in Tokyo?
Nikki: Hey, Victor followed her to Paris to try to take her company. Why not Tokyo?
Ashley: Well, Jill had the distinct impression that they were teaming up.
Jack: Well, we both know the lengths Genevieve would go to, to get her way. As for Victor-- doing real damage to Jabot has never been too far from the top of his to-do list.
Nikki: You know, at this point, I think Victor would prefer to see Jabot succeed over Beauty of Nature.
Ashley: Mm, if that's true, it almost makes you feel a little sorry for Genevieve, doesn't it?
Jack: Let's not take it too far.
Nikki: I just can't believe that he would be willing to destroy the company that he and Victoria built together.
Ashley: Well, obviously, I don't want to see Victoria get hurt, but if that's true-- I mean, if he's working against Beauty of Nature, it can only be good for Jabot.
Jack: Leave it to the Abbotts and the Newmans to put Shakespeare to shame.
Ashley: Well, you know what? I guess all we can do is wait and see how this meeting turns out between Cane and Mr. Yoshida.
Jack: I knew it.
Ashley: What?
Jack: Kaito Yoshida is not a Mitsukoshi stockholder.
Nikki: Who is he?
Jack: I met him a couple of years ago. He was investigating a stock trade Jabot was involved in.
Ashley: What do you mean, "Investigating," Jack?
Jack: He works for the U.S. Government. He's a plant. Cane has been set up.
Cane: (Sighs)
(Cell phone rings)
Cane: Hey, Jack, what's up?
Jack: Cane, have you had your meeting with Yoshida?
Cane: No, he just walked in. Why?
Jack: Don't talk to him.
Cane: Wait, but-- but he's our-
Jack: A government agent posing as a stockholder, probably there to see if anyone's going to compete for this contract with a bribe.
Cane: (Sighs) Like Victor did before, huh?
Jack: Yeah, well, the authorities are not gonna let anybody get away with that again.
Cane: Well, don't worry. I won't do anything that's not completely aboveboard.
Jack: Cane, listen to me. We don't know what this guy's agenda is. Step away from him. Don't even cancel the meeting. Just leave.
Cane: All right, if that's what you want.
Jack: All he needs is the slightest hint of impropriety to nail someone.
Cane: And it won't be me.
Jack: Okay, we'll find another way to get to the Mitsukoshi brass. Just call me when you get back to your hotel.
(Cell phone rings)
Nikki: Mm. (Gasps) Its Victor. Hello, Victor.
Victor: Hi, Sweetheart. I'm sorry I didn't get back to you sooner.
Nikki: Did you get my text?
Victor: Yes, I did, indeed. I want to talk to you about that.
Nikki: Well, I'd like to speak to you, too.
Ashley: You know what? She needs to figure it out on her own.
Jack: Let's hope it doesn't take too long. Bad things happen when it does.
Ashley: Oh, Jackie. I still hate what Genevieve did to you.
Jack: Oh, you know me-- I'm "The bounce back kid."
Ashley: Do you remember when I was in the eighth grade? That horrible kid, that Warren Magruder-- remember he broke my heart? You remember what you did?
Jack: I punched him, told him, "That’s what you get for messing with my kid sister."
Ashley: You did. I wish I could punch somebody for you, make 'em pay.
Jack: Oh, believe me, she will pay.
(Cell phone rings)
Ashley: Oh. Oh, it's Jill. Jill, what?
Jill: Listen, I only have a second before I board the plane.
Ashley: Well, what is it?
Jill: Well, I didn't want to say anything in front of Cane, but what is going on between Genevieve and Victor? It's more than business.
Ashley: Are you saying--
Jill: I'm--I sent you a photo, okay? Um, it'll show what I'm saying.
Jack: Jill just sent you something.
(Computer key clicks)
Ashley: Jack, d--
Michael: (Yawns) Okay.
Lauren: No, no, really. All right. Oops! I can't wait to go to bed.
Michael: Ooh, that sounds good.
Lauren: Mm-hmm.
Michael: Mm.
Lauren: Let's--let's call Fen first, okay?
Daisy: (Sighs)
(Elevator door closes)
(Elevator door closes)
Lauren: (Exhales slowly)
Michael: Are you okay?
Lauren: You're right-- let's get a room at the club tonight, okay?
Michael: Come here, come here.
Phyllis: Um, you're neighbors with Daisy?
Ricky: Yeah. I moved into Kevin's old apartment, with Eden-- totally platonic.
Phyllis: It--that-- it doesn't matter to me what you're doing with Eden. What's more important to me is what you're doing with Daisy.
Ricky: Oh, I'm not doing anything with Daisy.
Phyllis: You should keep it that way.
Ricky: Oh, no. There's that "Phyllis has an idea" look.
Phyllis: No, I don't really have an idea, just-- listen, I know that you're still upset about me taking credit for your Adam/Patty story.
Ricky: (Clears throat) Yeah, I'm a little miffed-- maybe more than a little.
Phyllis: I understand that. Listen, I can make this up to you. Stick close to Daisy and--and see what she's up to.
Ricky: And?
Phyllis: Well, if you get information on her, I'll give you a byline, maybe even a cover story.
Ricky: (Sighs) You're okay, Phyllis.
Phyllis: So you'll do it?
Ricky: You're my boss. My loyalty is to you.
Genevieve: Thank you for meeting with me, Mr. Yoshida.
Kaito: Mitsukoshi and Beauty of Nature have had a successful business relationship in the past. Perhaps that can happen again.
Genevieve: I've reserved a private room where we can talk.
Kaito: That's excellent.
Genevieve: After you.
Cane: (Exhales slowly)
Ashley: Look, Jill feels terrible, and so do I. She never would have sent that, Jack. She didn't know you were here.
Jack: You don't have to punch anyone out for me.
Ashley: Oh, I would, you know.
Jack: I'm fine. I'm fine.
Nikki: I waited for you at the ranch last night. Where are you?
Victor: I'm out of the country, but I'm on my way home. Why don't you wait for me at the ranch?
Nikki: All right, I'll be there when you come home.
Victor: I'm looking forward to seeing you.
Nikki: I'm anxious to see you, too.
Victor: We have a lot of things to talk about, all right? Need to straighten some things out.
Nikki: I want that, too.
Victor: Good.
Jack: Stop blaming yourself. The photo is not your--
Ashley: But I feel bad.
Jack: Oh.
Nikki: So what's going on?
Jack: Oh, we're just finishing something up. You ready to go to dinner?
Nikki: What is on that computer you don't want me to see?
Jack: Nothing, nothing important.
Nikki: Okay, well, then show it to me.
Ashley: I think its better she found out now.
Nikki: What?
Next on "The Young and the Restless" --
Angelina: I rushed into it, Daddy. I-I wasn't ready. It was a mistake.
Lily: Genevieve wouldn't resort to bribery, would she?
Cane: My mother would do anything to win.
Genevieve: Beauty of Nature is the only cosmetics line for Mitsukoshi.
