Episode # 9859 ~ Daisy's Living Situation Shocks Lauren

Provided By Suzanne

Lauren: So did you like the prize you got? That was so cool. It was a hard decision, wasn't it, between those--

Michael: (Growls)

Lauren: (Laughs)

Michael: I'm glad you ate. I got tied up at court.

Fen: (Laughs) How'd you get untied?

Michael: Oh, you know, the judges get hungry, they start munching on their gavels.

Fen: Ugh.

Michael: Yeah, it's disgusting. That's why my objection was sustained, and I got to go to lunch.

Lauren: Mm, very nice. So was there any good news prior to the gavel-munching?

Michael: Uh, not yet, but it looks promising.

Fen: Well, I got some good news.

Michael: What's that, Bro?

Fen: No cavities today!

Lauren: (Laughs)

Michael: No kidding, really?

Lauren: Yeah.

Michael: Let's see. Uh-huh, uh-huh. All right, lawyer five. Ha! Boo-yah!

Lauren: (Laughs)

Michael: (Sighs)

Michael: Oh, you know what? You earned a reward. You go into the kitchen and tell your ancient crone of a grandmother that you get something.

Fen: I'll go tell her!

Michael: Yeah, just like that.

Lauren: That's it, just like that, yeah. Say "Ancient."

Michael: Hey. Join us.

Phyllis: Hey. Thank you.

Lauren: Hi. Honey, I'm so sorry about your dad.

Phyllis: Oh. Yeah, thanks, but that's not the loss I'm mourning. Guys, I am really, really worried about Lucy.

Lauren: Yeah, yeah. I mean, it was bad enough releasing Daisy, but to give her custody of that little girl?

Phyllis: Yeah, what-- what kind of idiot judge would do that?

Lauren: Well, it was your sister who created the mess.

Michael: All right, all right. Avery regrets her decision to help Daisy, and she's working with us now.

Lauren: Yeah, but that's not gonna help us at this point, is it?

Phyllis: No, don't-- don't worry about Avery. We will change this.

Lauren: Thank you.

Phyllis: We will do that. I am getting Lucy away from that psycho. What is our next move?

Michael: I have already filed for a hearing to have Daniel's parental rights restored.

Lauren: But won't it take a while to get on the docket?

Michael: I have spent all morning pulling every string and calling in every favor I know to get it squeezed into a certain judge's docket.

Phyllis: Oh, this-- this is making me crazy. I'm crazy. We don't even know where Daisy is. We don't even know if Lucy has a roof over her head.

Daisy: Your Aunt Sarah, she could be a real bi-- I mean, a bad person. Oh, but at least she left me enough money to take care of some of the stuff we need, 'cause diapers, oh, as fast as you go through them-- way too expensive.

Lucy: (Fusses)

Daisy: Oh, no, no, it's okay. Don't worry. It must be confusing for you. First, Victoria was your mommy, and then Phyllis, but third time's the charm, right? And I'm your bio mommy. You know that, somewhere deep inside. You're gonna love me, Lucy, aren't you? You're not gonna listen to all those bad things people say about me. Ohh. You know, I might have botched it with your daddy, telling Daniel that he could do the whole family thing, but you know what? I'll fix it. He'll be with us soon. (Chuckles) I'll make it happen, somehow.

Avery: Oh, whoa!

Daniel: Sorry.

Avery: Whoa, ooh, careful, wow.

Daniel: (Laughs) Oh, hey. Um, you know what? I was actually gonna track you down a little bit later.

Avery: Why? What do you need?

Daniel: Um, I, uh, ran into Daisy at Crimson Lights, and somehow, she already knew that I'm filing for custody of Lucy.

Avery: Yes, uh, guilty as charged. I mentioned it to her.

Daniel: Why?

Avery: Because I wanted her to know what she's up against, that it would be foolish to challenge you, and I'm hoping to avoid a court battle.

Daniel: She's not gonna give up.

Avery: She told you that?

Daniel: Yeah, that and a bunch of delusional stuff about how she wants me and her and Lucy all to be a happy family.

Avery: Really? She's still that into you?

Daniel: Yeah, I guess. Why, did it--is that something that we can use to try and convince the judge that she's too screwed up to raise a kid?

Avery: No, but we can definitely use it to our advantage.

Billy: Did your mom tell you I'm going to California?

Delia: Are you coming back?

Billy: Yes, because I miss you too much when I'm gone.

Chloe: Don't worry. Daddy is gonna call and video chat you every day.

Billy: Yes, I will. We can even have a virtual tea party. How's that sound?

Delia: (Laughs)

Billy: Yeah, you like that? All right, it's a date, but first, I am gonna whip you up one of my very special lunches.

Chloe: Okay, but then you're gonna take her straight back to preschool?

Billy: She will be there exactly on time.

Victoria: Oh, okay. Hi, Guys. Hey. Oh, I am so sorry that I can't stick around and eat with you. Don't let Keely steal your vegetables this time.

Billy: Oh, that's right. He's a smart dog. He knows the vegetables are the best part, so we've gotta make sure that we eat the vegetables before he gets the vegetables.

Victoria: Right, yep.

Chloe: Okay. You have fun. Don't let him eat the vegetables.

Billy: (Laughs)

Victoria: See you.

Billy: Bye. I love you. (Imitates airplane roaring) So... what do you want me to bring you back from California? Hmm.

Delia: Seashells...

Billy: Mm-hmm.

Delia: A doll...

Billy: Mm-hmm.

Delia: Something for Pinkerton...

Billy: Mm-hmm.

Delia: Or a...

Billy: Mm, hold on there, Tiger. I'm gonna need to get a piece of paper and a pen, because this list is gonna be very long, it seems.

Delia: (Laughs)

Billy: (Laughs) Ready? But first, I gotta make you that lunch. Let's go! (Growling) Go!

Delia: (Squeals) (Laughing)

Billy: (Humming)

Ashley: I know, Tucker, it feels like forever to me, too, Honey. Well, I'm using this time to catch up on work. Believe me, it's so incredibly hectic around here. Oh, Honey, I gotta go.

Woman: Ms. Wiggs is waiting.

Ashley: Will you make sure and keep me posted? Uh, yeah, and let Devon know that I'm thinking of him, okay? All right, I love you, too. What is that message? Oh, I already signed that.

Woman: Uh, legal made some changes. They'd like you to review it as soon as possible.

Ashley: (Sighs) Okay, just give me two minutes, okay? If you could just close the door? Thank you so much.

(Cell phone rings)

Ashley: Oh, hi. What's up? Is everything okay?

Jack: I was just gonna ask you the same thing.

Ashley: Why?

Jack: Well, the summer ad campaign. You've got some big marketing deadlines. It's a lot to juggle.

Ashley: And everything's completely under control. Now why don't you not stress about work and, uh, concentrate on your recovery, maybe?

(Doorbell rings)

Jack: Um, door's open! Uh, I'll tell you what, just bring the proofs over, let me take a look at 'em. I can help that way.

Ashley: All right, I will. I want to make a couple of, uh, adjustments to it first, though, okay? Would you just relax, all right? I've--I've got a client waiting. I gotta go.

Jack: Okay, go, go, go. Go. I'll talk to you later.

Genevieve: The hospital told me that you'd been released. I'm so glad that you're home. And-- and you look well.

Jack: Do I?

Genevieve: You do. You--you look... I hope you don't mind that I just dropped by.

Jack: You mean without calling first?

Genevieve: I was afraid that you might say that you didn't want me to come over.

Jack: So why are you here?

Genevieve: I brought you a present. It's just books. Its award-winning cartoons. You know, I saw it, and I... I thought of you, and I thought of our Sunday mornings, and how you used to read me the funnies.

Jack: So you came here to make me laugh. Is that it?

Genevieve: Jack, I'm sorry. Oh, God, I'm so sorry. I wish I could go back and do everything differently. I-I wish it could be me in that chair instead of you.

Jack: Maybe a little overly dramatic.

Genevieve: Okay. (Laughs) Look, um... whatever you think about me, I want you to know something-- I really loved you, and I still really love you.

Billy: I have to get you to school, or I'm gonna be in big trouble with your little mama.

Delia: Oy!

Billy: Oy.

Delia: Ugh.

Billy: Help me out here. Here, let me get this on. You want to go school, hmm?

Delia: No.

Billy: No? Well, I figured. It's just like I don't want to go to L.A., but it's my job, just like going to school is your job, so you can grow up to be even smarter, so you can be president. No? No president? Oh, you could be, uh, you could be a doctor and help other little girls get better, like your doctors helped you.

Delia: Mom says I'm gonna be a fashionista.

Billy: Mom says you're gonna be a fashionista? Okay, well, maybe we can compromise and you can multitask, and you could do both. You can be a fashionista doctor, or the first fashionista president. I'm not gonna be gone that long, and I promise you, I will get you everything on that very long, long list of yours, okay? I love you. Mwah! (Growls)

Avery: Daisy's feelings for you could be her Achilles' heel. If we can use it, are you okay with that?

Daniel: Yeah, absolutely. Anything to help get Lucy away from her.

Avery: You're a good guy, Daniel. Your mom has been through a lot the past few days. It's gonna mean so much to her, you stepping up to put her family back together.

Daniel: I'm not the only one who's doing it.

Victoria: Uh, excuse me for interrupting. Any word on Lucy?

Avery: Uh, Michael hopefully has some news.

Daniel: Mm.

Michael: (Clears throat)

Phyllis: Oh, uh, Michael got a call from the judge's clerk.

Michael: Judge Sprague has agreed to hear arguments to restore Daniel's parental rights.

Avery: Judge Sprague-- that's perfect.

Michael: Mm-hmm. His clerk said we could be on the calendar in a couple of days.

Victoria: Oh, why is that good?

Phyllis: Um, this judge is very pro-father's rights.

Avery: Well done, going after Judge Sprague.

Michael: This is just the battle. We're gearing up for war.

Man: Daisy Carter?

Daisy: Yes?

Man: You've been served.

Daisy: (Sighs) Well, that didn't take long. Daddy Daniel is going to court to get his rights back. I knew he'd want you as soon as I claimed you. What he doesn't know yet is that you and I are a package deal.

Jack: You know what? I blame you, too.

Genevieve: For Patty? I--you're right. I should have known that there was something wrong there, but I didn't. I swear, the whole time she was working for me, I--

Jack: No, no. Patty shooting me is the one thing I don't blame you for. Why did you do it?

Genevieve: (Exhales slowly) Beauty of Nature.

Jack: I know you said you wanted a place at the table.

Genevieve: Yeah. To be a player, to be... a force to be reckoned with. (Sighs) After being married to Colin, I-I-I just never wanted to be just Mrs. Somebody ever again, you know? I-I wanted my own work. I wanted to be somebody.

Jack: I understand that.

Genevieve: You--you do?

Jack: Of course I do. And I would have-- I would have supported your pursuit of that.

Genevieve: Oh, my God. I should have told you. I should have told--

Jack: You shouldn't have betrayed me. There was a sea of companies out there that you could have purchased to assert your independence, but no, you wanted to sneak behind my back and steal the one company--the one company I wanted!

Genevieve: No, I-I was-- I thought the idea about Beauty of Nature long before we were serious together, I--

Jack: No, no, no, no, no, no. You couldn't look me in the face after you did it. You didn't trust my love. You didn't trust me. You didn't trust us, and for that, I don't forgive you.

Genevieve: Oh, Jack. Jack, if you were willing to marry me, if you were willing to take a vow that we would be together forever, then why can't you-- why--why won't you just try to forgive me now?

Jack: I hope Beauty of Nature keeps you warm at night. I'm done with you. Forgive me if I don't show you out.

Phyllis: (Clears throat)

Michael: This hearing is the first step.

Avery: Right, you can't sue for custody until your rights as a father are reinstated.

Daniel: I only gave up those rights so Billy and Victoria could have the baby. I mean, I never wanted Daisy anywhere near her.

Victoria: Billy and I can testify to that.

Phyllis: What if the judge rules against Daniel?

Avery: There's plenty of precedent that indicates he'll be successful.

Victoria: (Sighs) But if the worst happens...

Avery: We appeal. We keep fighting.

Victoria: You know, none of this would be necessary if you had just left Daisy in prison, where she belongs.

Phyllis: Okay, let's not get into that. Avery didn't know the whole story, okay? What's most important is that we've all come together to make sure that Lucy comes back to us, right?

Victoria: Well, let me know how I can help.

Michael: I'm counting on it.

Victoria: Okay. Thank you for doing what's best for Lucy again. I appreciate it.

Daniel: Yeah.

Chloe: Hi, Guys.

Michael: Hey.

Chloe: What's going on?

Phyllis: Um, we're taking Daisy down.

Jack: This is Jack Abbott. Thank you. I-I need to see you privately. Unfortunately, I, uh, can't exactly get around easily these days. I was hoping maybe you could come to me. Right away.

Avery: Uh, very well. I have to get to an appointment, so keep me posted.

Michael: Absolutely.

Victoria: Uh, ditto for me.

Chloe: So you're going to be raising Lucy...

Daniel: (Sighs)

Chloe: All on your own?

Daniel: Pretty scary thought, huh? I don't even know what shoe size she wears anymore, you know?

Chloe: Well--

Daniel: Or-- or what to feed her, or how much to feed her.

Chloe: She's not a plant. She'll let you know what works.

Daniel: (Chuckles)

Chloe: You're putting Lucy first, just like what you did when you gave her to Victoria and Billy. You're doing the right thing, so you just keep on leading with that, and you're gonna be okay.

Michael: Look at you. It's so impressive, taking up for your little sister like that.

Phyllis: Don't read anything into that. We're not B.F.F.'s. We still have issues.

Michael: Yeah, well, Avery feels bad about helping Daisy...

Phyllis: Well--

Michael: Even though, uh, Lauren's not ready to cut her a break.

Phyllis: Well, Avery should feel bad, and do you blame Lauren? Daisy terrorized her, and now Daisy's free? I mean, this is-- this is insane. It's truly insane. I mean, have you noticed any sort of, you know, signs of post-traumatic stress--

Michael: No, no, no. Lauren'll be just fine, as long as Daisy keeps her distance.

Lauren: What are you doing? Are you stalking me?

Daisy: As if I would sta--

Lauren: No, I'm calling the police.

Daisy: Just stop freaking out. (Elevator stops) It's got nothing to do with you.

Lauren: Oh, really? Who? Who, then?

Daisy: My baby and me. I'm renting an apartment in the building.

Lauren: And I'm just supposed to believe that this is some sort of coincidence?

Daisy: I liked living here before. I knew the building. I knew it'd be a good home for me and my baby.

Lauren: What are you really after, Daisy?

Daisy: Nothing but making my baby safe and happy. You should know all about that, being a mom.

(Elevator starts)

Lauren: You stay away from me, and you stay away from my family!

Billy: Hey.

Jack: Oh, it's you.

Billy: Were you expecting somebody else?

Jack: As a matter of fact, I was.

Billy: Well, I'm sorry. I'll make this quick.

Jack: No, no, no, no, no, no. I'm always happy to see my little brother.

Billy: Glad to see you, too.

Ashley: And what about your sister?

Jack: Hey.

Ashley: Hello.

Billy: Hey, hello.

Ashley: Here are the ad proofs that you just had to see.

Billy: Mwah!

Ashley: I'm feeling the love. What's that about?

Billy: Well, you saved me a trip to Jabot.

Ashley: Oh.

Billy: Now I can tell you this both at the same time.

Jack: Uh, do we need to brace ourselves?

Billy: Yes. Prepare to be amazed. I am flying to L.A. tonight on "Restless Style" business.

Ashley: Why is that so amazing?

Billy: There's interest in making a TV show out of the magazine.

Ashley: Oh, really?

Jack: Wow, that is amazing.

Ashley: When did that happen?

Billy: Well, nothing's happened yet, but they're insisting on some face time, and I thought it was worth the trip.

Ashley: Sounds like.

Billy: Mm-hmm.

Ashley: Who's minding the store while you're away?

Billy: Phyllis, but you know...

Ashley: Uh-huh.

Jack: So why didn't you just call us with this information?

Ashley: Yeah.

Billy: Isn't family great?

Ashley: (Laughs)

Billy: (Laughs) I wanted to give my good-byes in person, and I wanted to ask a favor.

Ashley: Uh-huh.

Jack: Okay, ask away.

Billy: (Clears throat) Would the two of you mind looking in on Victoria while I'm gone? I don't like leaving her alone in the house with Chelsea for too long.

Jack: Sure, we'll check in on her.

Ashley: Yeah, of course, happy to do it.

Billy: You should know that Victoria's gone back to work.

Jack: Not at Newman?

Billy: No. No, she's going to run Beauty of Nature for Genevieve. She ran it past me before she accepted. I said I was cool with it. Are you?

Jack: Actually, I think it's a brilliant move on Genevieve's part.

Ashley: Well, with Victoria at the helm, Beauty of Nature is going to continue to be a formidable competitor for Jabot.

Billy: Hmm. Yeah, we'll see.

Ashley: Hmm.

Billy: What's that smile about?

Jack: Oh, I'm just thinking about how Victor's gonna react.

Victoria: Well, you seem a little subdued. Have you changed your mind?

Genevieve: (Chuckles) Oh, no, not a chance, not a chance. (Laughs) And I-I'm very happy to have you as my C.E.O.

Victoria: So what's bothering you?

Genevieve: What we're up against... (Sighs) I think maybe it just finally hit me. It--it couldn't be more important to me than it is now to make this company a success.

Victoria: Uh-huh, well, that is the plan, so why is it more important today?

Genevieve: Because I think there are a lot of people who are rooting for us to fail. (Chuckles) I want to leave them sorely disappointed.

Victoria: You know what? That's why I like you, Genevieve.

Genevieve: (Laughs)

Victoria: You're a warrior.

Genevieve: Of necessity, but I will get what I want. I will not give up.

Victoria: Well... everything looks like it's in order here.

Genevieve: Great. Welcome aboard.

Ashley: So I don't understand. Why didn't you tell Billy that you're thinking of questioning Genevieve's purchase of Beauty of Nature? You didn't change your mind, did you?

Jack: Nope, not at all.

Ashley: Okay, well, if Victoria's gonna be the C.E.O., don't you think you might want to warn them?

Jack: Genevieve stopped by to see me a little earlier.

Ashley: Really? Why?

Jack: Whatever her reasons, it only strengthened my resolve, and for now, I'm keeping my plans on a need-to-know basis.

Ashley: Even from Billy, your own brother?

Jack: I don't want to chance Genevieve finding out before I'm ready. Besides, Victoria is perfect for the job of running Beauty of Nature.

Ashley: Which will only end up serving you.

Jack: Well, yeah. The company'll be in great shape when Jabot takes it over.

Victoria: Okay, well, it's official.

Billy: Yeah? You signed the contract?

Victoria: I did. And I ran into Daniel. He's filing for custody of Lucy.

Billy: Good for him.

Victoria: Mm-hmm, and for her.

Billy: Look, you know when I get back from L.A., you'll be sending Beauty of Nature into the financial stratosphere, don't you?

Victoria: (Sighs) Yeah, and hopefully, Lucy will be safe with her dad.

Billy: Mm.

Billy: (Chuckles)

Chloe: Kevin never talked much about Daisy when we were together.

Daniel: Why would he want to?

Chloe: I've heard that she's a pretty horrible person.

Daniel: Well, you heard right.

Chloe: So then why would they let her out of jail?

Daniel: I don't know. She claims that her aunt forced her hand, you know, was behind the whole reason th-that she went on her little crime spree there. But now that she's been to prison and she's gotten help, she's all reformed.

Chloe: You don't think so?

Daniel: No. No, I-I don't think so. I think that the-- the best predictor of Daisy's future behavior is gonna be her past behavior. That girl's not done causing trouble.

Lauren: (Gasps) Thank God! Thank God.

Phyllis: I practically ran all the way here. What's the emergency?

Lauren: I know where Daisy and Lucy are.

Phyllis: You saw them?

Lauren: They are living in my building.

Phyllis: Oh, my God, are you sure?

Lauren: Yes. Yes, I saw her. She told me herself, in my elevator.

Phyllis: Oh, my God.

Lauren: I had just dropped Fen off at school. What if he had been with me?

Jack: Thank you for coming by on such short notice.

Avery: I was intrigued by your call. You have a legal question?

Jack: I have a legal agenda. I'm planning to sue my ex-fiancée.

Ashley: (Sighs)

Genevieve: Hi, Ashley. Thank you for clearing me to come up. You know, security was like an iron curtain when I walked in the building.

Ashley: Well, you can't be that surprised by that, right?

Genevieve: I'm not a threat to your family, Ashley.

Ashley: I know. You've already done your damage. So, um... were you planning on visiting all the Abbotts today?

Genevieve: I guess you heard that I visited Jack.

Ashley: Yeah. What did you hope to accomplish? I'm just curious.

Genevieve: I wanted him to know how much I care about him. I wanted him to know that I feel awful about what happened, and I want you to know that, too, Ashley.

Ashley: Uh-huh. So, um, is that it?

Genevieve: If there is anything at all I can do to help Jack, I really would love to.

Ashley: You know, I thought I was clear before. My family does not want your help... ever.

Lauren: I'll make the reservations, and I'll call you with all the details. Yeah, Honey, thank you so much. I appreciate it.

Michael: Hey. Your message didn't mention going out of town. Is there something wrong with one of the stores?

Lauren: Um, here, come here. I just got off the phone with Scotty. I am taking Fen up to Canada to stay with him for a while.

Michael: (Scoffs) In the middle of the school year? Why don't we wait till spring break? Then maybe we can all--

Lauren: This can't wait, Michael. I want to be on the next flight.

Michael: Tell me what happened.

Lauren: I ran into Daisy in our building.

Michael: What was she doing there?

Lauren: Coming from her apartment.

Michael: (Scoffs) Her apartment?

Lauren: Look, I-- I checked this out with our--our building manager. She has rented Heather's apartment. She is across the hall from Eden!

Michael: Where you can run into her anytime, huh?

Lauren: Look, I'm not talking about me. I do not want my son exposed to that woman.

Michael: Did Daisy mention Fenmore?

Lauren: No, but being in our building-- she has complete access to him! I mean, God knows what could happen.

Daisy: (Groans) Oh, some of our neighbors are not very nice, are they?

Lucy: (Babbling)

Daisy: I'm just glad that we didn't run into that mean, nasty woman on our way back. Okay, here we go. All right. Shh, shh, shh, shh.

(Knock on door)

Daisy: (Scoffs) (Sighs)

Lucy: (Babbles)

Daisy: Shh. I'm trying to put my baby down--

Lucy: (Babbles)

Ashley: I really hope I've made myself clear with you this time. Stay away from Jack. He does not need you.

Genevieve: Circumstances change, Ashley. I've learned that more than once in my life.

Ashley: Well, this won't. You know, my family holds you responsible for everything that happened to him.

Genevieve: You can't possibly mean--

Ashley: I do mean. I do mean the paralysis, and the way you tore him up emotionally.

Genevieve: I'm sorry you feel that way.

Ashley: No, it's not how I feel. It's the way it is. Now please be so kind to leave my family's building, and don't come back, ever.

Genevieve: I'm not gonna give up, okay? This is not over.

Ashley: You have no idea how right you are. This is definitely not over.

Avery: And after you, in good faith and trust as her fiancé, had shown her your bid, Genevieve went out and submitted an offer of her own?

Jack: It makes sense now that she claimed my bid was too high.

Avery: Well, yeah, she wanted to save herself some money.

Jack: Exactly.

Avery: She's a piece of work. Jack, I think you have a very winnable case here.

Jack: Then you'll take it?

Avery: Yes. Are you hiring me?

Jack: Absolutely. Let's do this.

Daniel: What if I do get custody, huh? Suddenly, I have a kid. What am I gonna do then?

Chloe: You've taken care of her before.

Daniel: Yeah, I've taken care of her for a couple of days, not forever.

Chloe: You're gonna be fine. You're gonna figure it out. Look, no one is ever ready to become a parent.

Daniel: (Scoffs) Well, you're pretty great at it.

Chloe: Yeah, but do you remember me before I had Delia? Was I mom material?

Daniel: Yeah, but, you know, the pregnancy-- I mean, that's like a warm-up, and you got your mom. She was always pitching in. She still is.

Chloe: And you're gonna have Phyllis. She's totally gonna step up for you.

Daniel: Yeah, I'm sure she is.

Chloe: Come on. Let's go to the gym. Let's exorcise the Daisy vibes with some exercise.

Daniel: (Laughs) Okay.

Chloe: That was a good one, right?

Daniel: Yeah, it was great.

Chloe: I'm so funny.

Michael: No, uh, thanks, thanks, anyway. Bye.

Lauren: What did the owner say? Did you tell her about her record?

Michael: Yeah, he knows all about it. He says he's very impressed with her turnaround and that he's a big believer in second chances.

Lauren: Great, at our expense.

Michael: All right, listen. The bottom line is Daisy has a lease, and she has done nothing to give him cause to evict her.

Lauren: Not yet. How the hell does she afford this apartment?

Michael: One-half of Sarah's estate.

Lauren: (Sighs) Great. So Sarah still influences our lives. How--how do we get out of this?

Michael: First, we start with you calming down.

Lauren: I can't. I can't calm down while she's under the same roof as our son. What she did to me, I won't let happen to our son.

Michael: Okay. Okay. Fenmore stays with Scotty until we figure out the best way to handle this.

Phyllis: I'm glad you found a nice, secure place to live.

Daisy: I want what's best for my daughter.

Phyllis: Yeah, sure you do. Lauren lives here, in this building. You did this to freak her out.

Daisy: I found a great apartment, and I took it. If that's someone's problem, it's their problem. (Laughs)

Phyllis: Do you and Lucy need anything?

Daisy: We're fine.

Phyllis: Can I see her?

Daisy: (Inhales sharply) I don't think that's a good idea, Phyllis.

Phyllis: You ripped her away from me, Daisy. She thinks I abandoned her. That's not good for her.

Daisy: I remember begging you to bring her to visit me in prison. How does it feel?

Phyllis: Okay, listen. I brought her to prison every single time you wanted. I did that, and let's make this about Lucy and not about you.

Daisy: I'm not making it about me.

Lucy: (Fusses)

Daisy: I don't want to confuse my daughter.

Billy: (Singsong voice) Okay, okay, okay, okay... (Normal voice) I'm all packed up. (Normal voice) Now listen to me.

Victoria: Right.

Billy: If Chelsea or her mother give you any problems whatsoever, I need you to call me.

Victoria: Okay, you know that you're just going to L.A., right? You're not going to the dark side of the moon, and we're gonna be e-mailing and texting and calling every day, all day long.

Billy: Really?

Victoria: Really.

Billy: Hmm.

Victoria: Mm-hmm.

Billy: Well, we don't have to go to the airport right now, and I had this whole checklist that I wanted to go over with you.
