Episode # 9788 ~ Victor and Nikki are Reunited

Proofread By Emma

Victor: Come here.

Nikki: Oh, Victor.

Victor: Welcome home, my baby.

Ronan: Yes, Sir, of course I understand the importance of catching Diane Jenkins' murderer. That's why I held Victor Newman overnight for questioning. Because I didn't have enough evidence to charge him. If I-- hello. Hello?

Paul: So is that the D.A. giving it to you for not making an arrest?

Ronan: How'd you guess? (Sighs)

Paul: Well, I got the same lecture this morning. I tell you, there's just something about this case that--

Ronan: That makes you want to punch a hole in the wall?

Paul: Anonymous tips, text messages, bizarre highlight film.

Ronan: Nine suspects that we know of. Another one that we can't pin down.

Ronan: We gotta figure out who's connected to that pillow.

Paul: "No place like home." I finally got the security footage from Newman Enterprises. Everybody that came and went from Thanksgiving.

Ronan: Let's take a look. (Sighs) We'll see if we can find our tenth suspect.

Adam: Yes, Victoria Newman is leaving the company. I know. I know. It is sad, isn't it? Listen, uh, one of you guys down there in security, do have, uh, some extra boxes, perhaps you could pack up the rest of her things? Great. Much appreciated. (Slams receiver down) There's absolutely no need to thank me.

Victoria: Get the hell out of my father's office.

Adam: I'm sorry. Didn't you quit? Or have you changed your mind again?

Jack: (Groans) My son has taken quite a liking to you, Dave. You're about the last thing in the world I need, but we'll keep you around for Kyle. It's not that I have anything against you personally, understand. I'm sure you're an upstanding member of the feline community, but cats in general remind me of a time I would just as soon forget. Come on.

Tucker: Oh, that couples massage was pretty great, wasn't it? Beauty?

Ashley: I'm sorry. What'd you say, Honey?

Tucker: What's on your mind?

Ashley: Nothing. You don't want to know.

Tucker: Yes, I do.

Ashley: No, it's kind of embarrassing. You're gonna think I'm overreacting.

Tucker: You want to go home, don't you?

Ashley: No, it's-- it's just Billy, you know? I just, um, I'm kind of worried about him.

Nick: So the rumors are true.

Billy: Yeah. How you been?

Nick: I'm confused, Billy. Just trying to figure out why on earth my sister would ever take you back.

Billy: Well, she's been very cool with a lot of not-cool things.

Nick: You put her through hell.

Billy: Yeah, well, I messed up, okay? And I'm trying to put everything right. I want to undo all my bad decisions.

Nick: Well, there's nothing I can do to help you.

Billy: Well, that's not true. You can sell me back "Restless Style."

Phyllis: Caffeine fix?

Avery: Uh, yeah, yeah.

Phyllis: Do you want to sit down?

Avery: I can't.

Phyllis: Okay. Um, I--do you want to have lunch sometime?

Avery: Okay.

Phyllis: Listen. I know how difficult that was yesterday... (Sighs) But I think it's good. I think it gives us a chance to move on, I really do.

Avery: I'm not really sure what you mean.

Phyllis: What you said in prison about... admitting Dad was guilty.

Avery: You know, whatever you think you heard, you're wrong.

Phyllis: Are you seriously doing this?

Avery: Doing what?

Phyllis: Pretending like nothing happened.

Avery: What? We randomly ran into each other.

Phyllis: You opened up to me.

Avery: What's the big deal?

Phyllis: You opened up to me.

Avery: No, I said what you wanted to hear to get you off my back.

Phyllis: You said-- no, no, no. You said, "I think he did it," you admitted Dad's guilt.

Avery: I never said that.

Phyllis: Yes, you did.

Avery: I never said that.

Phyllis: Yes, you did say that. You said that to me. You understood why I left.

Avery: Oh, no, no. I have never understood why you left, and I won't be bullied by you so that you can ease your own guilt.

Phyllis: Oh, my God. Oh, my God. I can't believe this is happening. I can't. I can't believe this is happening.

Avery: Stop it, stop it. Stop putting words in my mouth. Stop acting like we bonded, because we didn't. I don't know you. You don't know me. Nothing has changed.

Phyllis: Oh, my God. You know what? That's right. Nothing's changed. You look at me! You look at me. You stop using my daughter as punishment to me. You got it?

Avery: Oh, my God. For the millionth time, I am not representing Daisy to get back at you. She has rights.

Phyllis: Daisy is psychotic.

Avery: She is a victim who's been used by lunatics and liars like you! She needs me.

Phyllis: She needs you? Really? Don't you need her? Avery, don't you need her to get back at me? Don't you? That's what you're trying to do. It's all about revenge for you, and you're using my kid and my ex-husband. Aren't you?

Avery: Okay, this is gonna come as a shock to you, but my entire existence does not revolve around you.

Phyllis: That's a complete lie. It completely revolves around me... completely. But you have such a crusade for justice that it just landed you in Daisy's cell and my ex-husband's pants?

Avery: I'm doing what I've always done, defending people who can't defend themselves...

Phyllis: Absolute liar.

Avery: And you know what? You would know that about me...

Phyllis: Abs--oh, wouldn't I?

Avery: If you had stuck around.

Phyllis: And you just proved my point. Thank you, lovely, lovely Avery. This is why I left. Thank you.

Avery: Nick. Hi, it's Avery. Uh, I have some time off this afternoon, so I thought if you get this in the next few hours, why don't you stop by my suite?

Nick: Billy, why do you want to buy back "Restless Style"?

Billy: I just want to get my life back on track. You know, keep my head down, take care of my family, don't rock the boat, and--and I'll pay more than a fair price to keep this headache out of your way. I'm not looking for a handout.

Nick: Sorry, I'm gonna have to say no.

Billy: Okay. Well, you know where to find me if you change your mind.

Nick: (Tapping cell phone against hand)

Paul: So mystery number ten. What's your theory? Who's our tenth suspect?

Ronan: If I had any ideas on that, this case would be cracked wide-open.

Paul: Mm. So what's your gut telling you? Do you think this tenth pillow represents the real killer, or someone the real killer is trying to set up?

Ronan: Stop. Look at that, right there. That's Adam Newman. He was there.

Paul: What the hell?

Ronan: Let's go.

Victoria: You know, I do have every intention of leaving this place, but that doesn't mean I want you here.

Adam: Dad does. He hired me back. He asked me back, remember? And may I further remind you that while our father is, uh... unavailable, I will be repaying his good faith in me by covering for him while he's gone.

Victoria: Don't pretend like this is some act of nobility.

Adam: Hold on. Déja vu. We have done this dance before, haven't we? You left in a hysterical huff and I was the last man standing.

Victoria: Uh, no. I chose to leave, and you went on some insane power trip, so Dad had to boot your ass out of here, which is exactly what's gonna happen again, so don't get too comfortable.

Michael: Oh, he'll be back in jail soon enough.

Adam: I'm sorry. You're still here?

Michael: You don't think I know you're behind all this? Stashing that syringe in Victor's safe, this pathetic attempt to set him up for Diane's murder?

Adam: Why would I do that, Michael?

Victoria: (Sighs) Revenge, hatred.

Adam: That was the old us. The new us-- we're all good.

Victoria: Dad's coming back. He's coming back soon.

Adam: Hmm, and I couldn't be happier, and when he does and walks through these doors, I'll be the first person to roll out the welcome wagon.

Victoria: Hmm. In the meantime, why don't you have my things waiting in the lobby?

Victor: I can't believe it.

Nikki: (Sighs)

Victor: When did you get back?

Nikki: Yesterday. Actually, I came by to surprise you, but you were at the police station all night?

Victor: It's all right. Let's talk about you.

Nikki: Mm, Victor.

Victor: No, let's talk about you.

Nikki: Okay, we'll talk about me in a second. I just need to let you know how--how much your support has meant to me. The whole time I was in rehab, when I decided not to come home right away-- I--you never questioned me.

Victor: Why would I question you? Now tell me about your travels.

Nikki: Well... (Sighs) Europe was wonderful, of course...

Victor: Mm-hmm.

Nikki: Seeing all my favorite cities with new eyes, but as special as those places are, nothing compares to being here.

Victor: Are you gonna stay here now, for good, on the ranch?

Nikki: Um... am I invited?

Victor: Well, this is your home.

Nikki: Victor, you have no-- no idea how much that means to me.

Victor: Come here. You know, I was very concerned when I couldn't reach you.

Nikki: I'm so sorry if I worried you.

Victor: From the looks of it, you're doing well. You are doing well, aren't you? Hmm?

Ashley: I'm probably being really silly, but I haven't seen Billy in so long, and I just-- I want to make sure for myself.

Tucker: Family first. I'm learning that from you.

Ashley: Yeah, uh... I'm also worried about Jabot. I have to be perfectly honest. I mean, we have all these deadlines because of the new product line and-- I'm so sorry. Here we are in paradise. I'm with my almost-new husband, and I'm thinking about work.

Tucker: (Chuckles) Oh, come on.

Ashley: What?

Tucker: Don't apologize for being a responsible person. I love how much you care.

Ashley: You don't think something's horribly wrong with me?

Tucker: Mm, not horribly wrong, no.

Ashley: Okay, I shouldn't have said that.

Tucker: Hey, listen.

Ashley: What?

Tucker: I have my regular appointment in Chicago later. I'd like to try and make that, too.

Ashley: Are you sure?

Tucker: Yeah. Hey, this is our island. It's not going anywhere. We can come back anytime we like.

Ashley: Well, just so you know, just 'cause we're going home, it doesn't mean that the honeymoon is over.

Tucker: You better believe it, Baby.

Victoria: You'll never believe who was in my father's office, sitting behind his desk.

Billy: (Clears throat) Psycho brother.

Victoria: (Sighs) You know what? I don't know what bothers me more, the fact that he is in the position to destroy Newman if he wanted to... (Sighs) Or that I care.

Billy: It's our family's company. Of course you care.

Victoria: So what? Who cares if it's my family's company? I mean, look at my dad. Look at what he did to you. Look at what he did to us. I swore that I was gonna walk away from him and I was never coming back, and when I saw that weasel, that demented weasel, sitting behind his desk, I just--

Billy: Okay. Okay, deep breath. Deep breath. One, two, three... (Inhales and exhales deeply)

Victoria: Okay, okay, okay. Okay. (Sighs)

Billy: Now how can I help?

Victoria: Yes, just, um... just tell me what a bastard my father is...

Billy: Mm-hmm.

Victoria: And remind me about all of the horrible things that he's done, and please talk me out of warning him about Adam, please.

Billy: I'd like to, but I don't think I can.

Nikki: You know, when I was gone, I dreamt about this place. They say dreams are wishes.

Victor: You just wanted to come home. Hmm?

Nikki: I'll confess to you, in my heart, I never really left, but in my head--

Victor: You've been through a lot, haven't you? Hmm?

Nikki: Yeah. (Sighs)

Victor: We can put all that behind us.

Nikki: Can we?

Victor: Sweetheart, you're home now. Okay? All the people around here love you.

Nikki: Well, and they all seem to be suspects in a murder investigation.

Victor: Mm, well...

Nikki: I thought Diane's case had gone cold...

Victor: (Sighs heavily)

Nikki: But then Nicholas filled me in, and I-- I can't believe the stress that you have been under its terrible. I feel awful.

Victor: It's all right.

Nikki: No, it isn't. It's not all right. It--you're innocent. You're all innocent, I know that.

Victor: Everything will be fine. Trust me.

Nikki: Yes, but it's very stressful. I can see it in your eyes.

Victor: (Exhales slowly) All this stuff these past few months, you gone, and then... that murder investigation and all that. I tell you, done a lot of damage to a lot of families around here-- all the suspicions, all the accusations. You're lucky you escaped it all.

Nikki: Ohh.

Adam: No need to stick around on my account.

Michael: Oh, I wouldn't dream of leaving you here all by your lonesome.

(Knock on door)

Paul: (Sighs)

Adam: Well, if it isn't G.C.'s most average.

Paul: (Laughs)

Ronan: That's funny. We have a few questions for you.

Adam: Yay.

Paul: It'll be fun. Where were you on Thanksgiving?

Adam: I was here, like the dedicated employee that I am.

Ronan: You were here, right here, this office?

Adam: Mm. Now that would be disrespectful. No, I'm only behind this desk now out of necessity.

Ronan: So did you, uh, happen to get into Victor's safe?

Adam: Let's see. How could I do that? I'm not a safecracker. I don't know the code. Of course not.

Ronan: You know, that's interesting, because Victor feels like you planted a syringe in there. You know, to frame him for the murder of Diane Jenkins.

Paul: We know you had the opportunity.

Michael: Oh, a-and a motive. Victor goes to jail, "Sonny boy" takes over.

Ronan: Ho! How we doin' so far over here?

Adam: Well, on a scale of 1 to "Dead wrong," may you rest in peace.

Ronan: So while you were toiling away on the holiday, did you see anyone else?

Adam: No one unusual.

Jack: Uh... I don't know. Here. What did I do with my phone? (Groans)

Myrna: (Whispering) Señor Kitty, come here. (Clicks tongue) Come here. Hi. I know, Mama missed you so much. I did, I did. Yes, I did. Here, I brought you something. That food looks awful, doesn't it? No wonder you didn't eat it. There you go. We make everything from scratch, don't we? (Chuckles) Only the best for my Señor Kitty. Jack sure hasn't chosen the best, has he? No. God knows Emily wasn't, and Diane--ohh. If I would have taken care of that whore years ago, all this would be different. It would be. Here. I don't feel bad about what happened to her. I don't. She deserved everything she got, didn't she?

Dave: (Meows)

Myrna: I know. Shh. Be very quiet.

Dave: (Meows)

Myrna: Shh, shh.

Dave: (Growling)

Myrna: Shh.

Dave: (Growling)

Billy: There you go.

Victoria: So you think that my father deserves my help.

Billy: No, he doesn't.

Victoria: Okay, good. I thought you were going soft on me there for a minute.

Billy: I'm going to hate your father until the day I die, but I do think you should give him a heads-up on Adam.

Victoria: What?

Billy: Your father is a dirt bag, but no matter how low he goes, he's your father, and you're his daughter, who refuses to stoop to his level. And he needs you, and you're gonna come through because that's who you are. And in times like this, well, you put everything else on the back burner and you come through for your family.

Victoria: Well... I guess I'm gonna go see my father.

Victoria: Thank you.

Billy: All right.

Nick: Avery, it's me. I got your message. I'll see you soon.

(Elevator door opens)

Nick: Hi to you, too. What's up?

Phyllis: Some things I'm getting ready to work on. Some big story's brewing.

Nick: Anything you would like to run by me first?

Phyllis: For starters, "Billy Abbott, prodigal son, screws up again."

Nick: No. Victoria has enough problems as it is.

Phyllis: Okay, how about this? "Victor Newman, prime suspect."

Victor: Needless to say, Diane's murder was a tragedy, especially for the boy.

Nikki: Ohh. How is Kyle?

Victor: Well, understandably, he took it very hard, you know? But I'm gonna make sure that he's well taken care of.

Nikki: I'm sure that you will. I wish that people could see what I see in you-- your kindness, your generosity, most importantly, your ability to forgive-- weakness, mistakes, terrible mistakes. I really admire that in you. I've come to rely on it. I hope that I always can.

Victor: Thank you for saying that. Um... I obviously have thought a lot about what you've gone through in Italy. You faced your demons. You've gotten well.

Nikki: I cannot do it without you.

Victor: You don't have to, ever again. Come here.

Victor: I'm so happy you're here.

Nikki: Me, too.

Victor: You're beautiful, my baby.

Nikki: (Sighs)

Victor: And I've missed you so much.

Nikki: I love you.

Victor: Mm-hmm.

Nikki: (Sighs)

Victor: Let's go upstairs.

Adam: Fellas, it has been real, but I have a lot of work to do.

Ronan: You know, of all of our possible suspects, you--you stand out for one reason.

Adam: My rugged good looks?

Ronan: Someone keeps sending anonymous text messages intending for all of our suspects to look guilty-- all of them except for you.

Paul: Which either means you're sending them, or someone else is, who doesn't want to implicate you. Right?

Ronan: Any idea who that might be, Adam?

Adam: Yeah, the person who hates Diane more than anyone else-- Victor.

Nick: Come here.

Phyllis: Please don't.

Nick: Just come here. Listen to me. You are not writing a story about the evidence found in my dad's office.

Phyllis: You can't ignore it.

Nick: Yes, we can. Phyllis, my mother just got back from rehab.

Phyllis: Your mom is back?

Nick: Yes, and the last thing she needs to deal with is this murder investigation.

Phyllis: Are you--okay, are you listening to yourself? "My mom," "My dad." We're journalists. We're objective.

Nick: We're also human.

Phyllis: The Diane Jenkins story was the biggest story to hit this town, possibly the state. We have an obligation to cover it, Nick.

Nick: Not if it hurts people we care about.

Phyllis: Oh, you are letting your personal feelings hinder the success of this magazine.

Nick: Well, I think Heather Stevens and the Winters family would not agree with that.

Phyllis: Did you see the numbers that those stories did? Did you happen to see them?

Nick: Phyllis, I don't care about the numbers.

Phyllis: Then maybe you should work at a nonprofit! Why are you running a magazine? Just sit back and let me do my job, please.

Nick: This is my call. We are not doing that story.

Phyllis: Yeah, because your father isn't guilty? Nobody's father is ever guilty, right? (Sighs)

Nick: I have somewhere to be, so unless there's anything else--

Phyllis: Yeah, I have another story. "Avery Clark, not so innocent." How about that one?

Nick: So now you want to use the magazine to go after your sister?

Phyllis: I am not going after my sister. My sister is going after me, and don't let that sweet, lovely little blonde hair and face fool you. She's out to destroy me.

Nick: I can handle Avery.

Phyllis: Yeah, I bet you can.

Phyllis: (Sighs)

Jack: So call me when you have it.

Dave: (Meows)

Myrna: Shh, shh, shh, shh.

Jack: The Abbott house, or call me on my cell. Bye.

Billy: Hey, Sis.

Ashley: Billy! Get in here.

Billy: Okay.

Ashley: I'm happy you're back. Where the heck were you, and why didn't you keep in touch with us? What are you doing?

Jack: Yeah, I'd like some of those answers myself.

Billy: Um, well, like I told you before, Jack, I'm not really ready for the big conversations...

Jack: Okay, okay.

Billy: (Coughs) So... where's the hubby?

Ashley: The jet dropped me here, and Tucker's on his way to Chicago on business.

Billy: Nice, "The jet."

Ashley: Yeah, the jet.

Billy: Okay, okay. How was the wedding? Did anybody get drunk, make an inappropriate--

Ashley: You know, it's funny, you'd know all about it if you happened to have been there.

Billy: Yeah, sorry.

Ashley: We've got a lot of catching up to do, obviously, but, um, Jack and I--did you talk to him about what we--

Jack: No, I haven't said a word.

Billy: Mm-hmm.

Jack: Now that the Abbotts have reclaimed ownership of Jabot, and Ashley and I are running things, we'd like you to come back, make it a real family business again.

Billy: Hmm.

Avery: Remind me to take breaks from work more often.

Nick: Actually, I could have a lot of free time coming up, if I want it. Billy wants to buy back "Restless Style" from me.

Avery: Wow. What do you think?

Nick: (Sighs) I don't know. I kind of like being my own boss, but Billy wants to pay me a lot of money for it. I don't know. Maybe I should just hold on to it.

Avery: And Phyllis?

Ronan: (Closes laptop)

Phyllis: It looks like I'm off the hook as a murder suspect.

Ronan: Well, what would make you say that?

Phyllis: You questioned Victor earlier.

Ronan: Yes, I did.

Phyllis: Mm-hmm.

Ronan: Questioned-- didn't arrest him. As far as I'm concerned, you're still on the top of my list.

Phyllis: I like being on top.

Ronan: We're in public.

Phyllis: I know.

Ronan: We could get into a lot of trouble.

Phyllis: You promise?

Phyllis: So are you going to arrest Victor?

Ronan: We are waiting on... no, no, no. I can't go there with you. You know that.

Phyllis: Okay, I know that. It's just as well, because Nikki is home, and Victor is probably holding her hand as we speak.

Ronan: Nikki Newman is home?

Nikki: Well, I don't know why, but I am compelled to ask you-- how is Blue Smoke?

Victor: Oh, Baby, as feisty as ever...

Nikki: (Giggles)

Victor: Like someone else I know.

Nikki: Ohh.

Victor: Mm.

Nikki: Well, when I was here earlier and you asked me if I was okay, I wasn't quite sure, but...

Victor: Mm-hmm.

Nikki: Being in your arms, I know I'm fine. What's wrong? Something is wrong. Tell me.

Victor: Victoria's upset with me. She has resigned from Newman Enterprises.

Nikki: What? Oh, Victor, I-I-- you were so happy. You worked so hard to get her back. What happened?

Victor: Not everyone in my family views my protectiveness as favorably as you do.

(Doorbell rings)

Nikki: (Sighs) Go get the door, and I will make us something to eat.

Victor: Mm-hmm.

Victoria: May I come in?

Phyllis: Yeah, Nikki Newman is back in town. So what?

Ronan: I need to check my notes, but I think Nikki Newman was absent from rehab the day of the murder.

Phyllis: You think that Nikki killed Diane?

Ronan: Listen, I've, uh, I gotta get on this.

Phyllis: Now?

Ronan: Yeah, right now, but I will, uh, I will very much make it up to you.

Phyllis: Okay.

Ronan: You know that you can't write about anything that we talk about or that you see here. I mean it.

Phyllis: What will you give me if I don't?

Ronan: (Sighs)

Phyllis: Wow. With incentives like that, who can lose?

Ronan: Suspect number ten, solved.

(Plastic bag crinkles)

Nick: Phyllis is a pain in the butt and apparently a mood killer, so let's talk about something else. Actually, let's not talk at all.

Avery: Mm.

Ashley: Come on. Come on!

Billy: Guy--guys, guys, guys, guys, guys, I'm--I'm flattered that, uh, you'd like me to come back to Jabot. Really, I am. And I know how much it meant to Dad, and I know how much it means to both of you, which is why this is gonna be tough to say, but I-I-- I've gotta say no.

Ashley: Oh, come on. Are you sure?

Billy: Yeah, I-I'm sure, you know, and I'm rooting for you guys 100%, but I-I-- I really think I'm better off on my own.

Jack: Doing what, exactly?

Billy: Well, uh, yeah, I've got some feelers out there, but right now, I really want to go see Delia, so if you'll excuse me and--and understand, I'm gonna jet.

Ashley: Give her a kiss for us, please.

Billy: I will.

Ashley: Welcome back, Billy.

Jack: Give her a kiss for me, too, Buddy.

Billy: Love you guys, okay?

Ashley: Love you. (Sighs) Well, he is who he is. At least we tried. What are you looking for?

Jack: Where is that damn cat?

Myrna: Thank you.

Dave: (Growls)

Paul: Well, yeah...

Michael: Yeah, you should--

Paul: I would like that. That would very definitely--

Michael: No, I'm glad you're making some hay finding the killer. Ronan's not doing anything. At least you're on it.

Paul: Well, we're getting closer and closer all the time. That's, uh, all I can hope for, you know what I mean?

Myrna: (Clears throat)

Michael: Well, how long do we have to wait for this stuff?

Paul: All right, excuse us.

Michael: You know, Kyle's not getting any--

Paul: What do you want? It's on me.

Michael: All right, um, double espresso anything, maybe triple at this point.

Tucker: Do I remember that night? Not really. I'd recently come out of the coma, and my brain was pretty messed up. Still... I can't seem to shake this feeling that I might have done something terrible to Diane.

Emily: So what bothers you most, the uncertainty or the possibility of violence?

Victor: I appreciate you making me aware of the situation.

Victoria: Well, Billy's the one who convinced me to do it, so you can just thank him.

Victor: (Sighs)

Victoria: (Sighs)

Victor: I'll be in the office tomorrow, okay?

Victoria: What do you intend to do about Adam?

Victor: He won't be a problem.

Victoria: He already is a problem.

Victor: If you and I stick to our plan, he will get what he has coming to him.

Victoria: That's your plan? I quit, remember?

Victor: I don't want anyone to know what we have in store for Adam, not even your brother Nicholas.

Victoria: That's fine. That's totally fine, Dad, because it has nothing to do with me. So I've done my good deed for the day. Good-bye.

Victor: All right.

Victoria: Oh, Mom!

Nikki: My angel. Ohh! Oh, I missed you so much.

Victoria: I missed you, too. (Laughs)

Nikki: Ohh, I love you. I love you. (Chuckles)

Victoria: I love you.

Next on "The Young and The Restless"...

Billy: So you really think of Delia as your girl, huh?

Kevin: Yeah, I do.

Nikki: I have a family and a life that is worth fighting for.

Emily: Have you shared with Ashley that you're seeing a therapist?

Tucker: I haven't told her yet that it's you, though.
