Episode # 9782 ~ Billy and Victoria Reunite

Provided By Suzanne
Proofread By Emma

Jill: I'll be really glad to get off this plane, some time in New York to get something to eat before the next flight. You haven't eaten in how many hours?

Victoria: (Sighs)

Jill: Well, the flight to Genoa City will be nothing compared to this one. It'll be really good to get home. (Sighs)

Victoria: Not when we've left Billy behind. You know, he may never make it home, and he could be dead.

Victor: Two plane tickets-- one is round-trip, one is not. Here's your passport.

Billy: What makes you think I want to stick around some monastery in India?

Victor: Because I can tell you Billy, it's very relaxing to be in a monastery-- no phones, no electricity, none of that.

Billy: These aren't selling points for me.

Victor: Mm-hmm. Maybe it'll give you time to reflect upon the reaction you'll engender in people that you supposedly care about when they find out what you were up to when you were away.

Billy: I was set up.

Victor: You may try to convince me of that, Billy. I don't think Victoria will buy it, and you know she won't. You would have contacted her already. You had plenty of opportunity, didn't you?

Billy: Yeah, well, maybe I didn't give her enough credit.

Victor: Really?

Billy: Maybe she'll understand. Really.

Victor: What, to explain the kind of mess you got into in Myanmar? Is that what you think she'll understand? Or the reason you left town, because you knew damn well that you're not worthy of Victoria? Is that it? She married you in a moment of weakness, and you know it. You did the right thing leaving town, Billy.

Billy: No, that was a mistake. My daughter could have died because of it.

Victor: If anything happens to Delia in the future, I can promise you, I'll find you.

Billy: Just get out. It's futile trying to reason with someone like you.

Victor: You got that right. You take care of these, okay?

Billy: You're loving this, aren't you? Shipping me off today of all days.

Victor: Of all days? You mean Victoria's birthday? I'll love nothing more than erasing you from her memory-- the greatest gift I can give her.

Chris: I have to tell you, I'm so glad we're doing this, because I hate airplane food.

Chance: Yeah, agreed. (Laughs) Uh, can we get a table for four, please?

Nina: Thanks.

Murphy: You got some coffee? Oh! (Laughs) Sorry.

Esther: (Sighs) Oh, God.

Murphy: I didn't mean to scare you.

Esther: Oh, I-I thought that you and Mrs. C. went to lunch with Chance and the others.

Murphy: No, change of plans. She's, uh, she's in the greenhouse pruning away. I mean, the way she was waving her shears around, she almost, uh, cut my noggin off along with other things.

Esther: She's upset about Tucker's wedding today, isn't she?

Murphy: She's not going to admit it. Stubborn broad.

Esther: Still, I'm glad you're here for her.

Murphy: I'm gonna keep my distance, and if you were smart, I'd suggest you do the same. The last thing she wants is for us to hover.

Esther: I don't have time to hover even if she'd let me. I-I'm getting Delia's room ready.

Murphy: Coming today? Is that a fact?

Esther: We're waiting to hear.

Chloe: Well, I know. We--we can just, uh, do another puzzle. I found that puzzle with the ponies in it.

Kevin: We could play checkers.

Chloe: How about a movie? Yeah.

Delia: I don't want movies.

Chloe: No movies. You're just ready to get out of here, aren't you? I know. Me, too. But you know what? Sometimes, that's just the way that it goes. You know, the closer we get to something that we really, really want, like getting out of here, you know, we just have to wait a little bit longer, but hopefully not too long, okay?

Dr. Larson: Not much longer at all. You can go home today.

Delia: (Gasps)

Chloe: Oh, my gosh! You're going home. Yay! Oh, thank you.

(Makes kissing sounds)

Kevin: (Sighs)

Chloe: Thank you so much.

Dr. Larson: Of course.

Chloe: You're going home. We're going home.

Kevin: Amazing. (Laughs)

Chloe: We're going home. We're going home. We're going home!

Delia: (Giggles)

Chance: We can go somewhere else if you're uncomfortable.

Nina: No, it's--it's fine. Hey. Listen, I meant what I said, okay? No more pressure about becoming part of the family. But there's no reason we can't be polite, right?

Ronan: Right.

Nina: Okay.

Paul: Hey, I hate to rush you, but, you know, we should--

Nina: Oh, no, I don't want to risk being late for the flight.

Paul: Yeah.

Nina: Okay, well, we'll see you.

Victoria: Why did it take me so long to go and look for him? I should have known that he was in trouble.

Jill: Let's not panic, okay? If I let myself think the worst every time I hadn't heard from Billy in so long, I'd be in a straitjacket right now, okay? You just can't let your mind go to those awful places.

Victoria: This is not my mind playing tricks on me. That man said that it-- when somebody disappears from their prison records that usually means that they're dead.

Jill: That man was an idiot, okay? He had no idea where Billy was. He just wanted to get rid of us so he could go back to bed.

Cane: I think Jill's right.

Jill: Honey, listen. We shouldn't have been investigating this on our own anyway.

Victoria: (Sighs)

Jill: We're gonna put it in the hands of the state department, okay? Now that we have a solid lead, it's something for them to follow up on. Listen, and you know this is the truth. My son has wriggled his way out of every jam he's ever been in. This is no exception. You're gonna see.

Cane: It's too soon to give up hope.

Tank: You travel light.

Billy: This is all that's left of my old life.

Tank: (Sighs) Well, Mr. Newman sure is protective of his daughter. I didn't think he needed to rub it in, though-- the fact that it's her birthday.

Billy: He didn't need to rub it in. That was just for kicks. He's such a hypocrite. If you just knew half the stuff that he did to Victoria--

Tank: I got a feeling it's a long list. We just don't have that kind of time. We gotta catch a plane.

Billy: I've got a guy in Myanmar right now looking for evidence that I was set up. And if he finds it, I don't have to get on that plane. I can tell Victor to go stuff it and then go patch things up with Victoria, and I can be a father to my little girl. I just need you to let me make a phone call real quick, just to check up on him.

Tank: I can't do it.

Billy: Come on, Man. It'll save us a lot of time. Trust me.

Tank: You're not listening to me. I can't let you make that call.

Billy: But if you happen to be preoccupied with something else, then...

Tank: I'm gonna go to the john. Be back in a minute before we leave.

Billy: Okay. Um, Tank? The--

Tank: Under the blanket in the drawer.

Billy: Thank you.

Billy: Aw, come on. Hey, it's me. I'm not gonna be able to reach out to you again for a while. Victor found me. He's sending me off to India, someplace without phones or internet. But, um, I guess I'll try again soon. Somehow.

(Slams receiver down)

Tank: (Sighs) Any luck on that call you didn't make?

Billy: He didn't answer.

Tank: We gotta get goin'.

Billy: (Sighs)

Dr. Larson: We'll include the instructions for her medication along with her release papers.

Chloe: Okay, and, um, a schedule maybe for, you know, when she gets to be living a normal life again?

Dr. Larson: You'll want to keep things pretty quiet for a while to minimize the opportunity of infection. That means staying away from germs.

Chloe: Right. So we can't have any play dates just yet, and we can't go to school just yet, but we are gonna have so much fun at home.

Kevin: Mm-hmm. Wait until you see your room.

Chloe: Oh, yeah, Grandma has cleaned it, like, from top to bottom since you told her that dust exposure isn't good.

Kevin: Yes. I pity the speck of dust that tries to sneak into your room.

Chloe: (Laughs)

Dr. Larson: I'm so happy you're feeling better. Will you come back and visit so we can check and see how you're doing?

Chloe: Yes, we will. Thank you so much, Dr. Larson.

Dr. Larson: You're very welcome.

Kevin: Thanks.

Chloe: Oh, we gotta call Grandma. She's gonna be so excited. Do you want to call her?

Kevin: I'll be right back.

Chloe: Okay.

Victor: So how's Cordelia?

Kevin: She's great. She's goin' home.

Victor: Well, that's good to hear.

Kevin: Yeah, we just found out.

Victor: Uh-huh. And you were just about to call Billy to tell him the good news, right? I'm very aware that he snuck back into town and contacted you to keep tabs on his daughter.

Kevin: Yeah.

Victor: You don't have to worry about that anymore. As of today, he's leaving the country, hopefully for good.

Victor: Well, I have heard the good news.

Chloe: I know. Isn't it great? Grandma is so excited. You know what? I'm not sure, but I think there might be a party waiting for us at home. I'm just saying.

Victor: Oh, I have a feeling a lot of people have missed you. A lot of people are looking forward to you coming home. Been a long time. And you have missed them, too, haven't you?

Delia: Especially Daddy.

Victor: Ohh.

Paul: Well, it looks like we have time for dessert, if you want.

Nina: Ooh, no.

Chris: (Chuckles) You have room for dessert?

Paul: Oh, yeah, the pumpkin pie is pretty good here. I was thinking since no one's going to be here in town, you know, to make me a home-baked pie for thanksgiving...

Nina: (Chuckles) Oh, you poor thing.

Paul: I know.

Nina: Well, maybe Esther will take pity on you.

Paul: I doubt that.

Nina: (Laughs)

Chance: Or maybe we could just get a piece from here to go, because there's no way you are talking Mom out of coming to Washington with the two of us.

Nina: Yeah.

Chris: I'll tell you what, we'll take a picture of our thanksgiving feast. We'll e-mail it to you so you won't feel so alone here by yourself.

Nina: Oh, that's a good idea.

Paul: Thank you so very much for that.

Nina: Hey, you know, you can still change your mind and come with us.

Paul: No, I'm just kidding. Besides, it'll be good for you guys to spend some time together alone.

Chris: Maybe it'll give you and Ricky a chance to get to know each other.

Paul: Yeah, maybe.

Chris: Yeah.

Chance: Well, um, if we're not gonna do dessert, do we have time to swing by the hospital? I'd like to say good-bye to Delia.

Nina: Yes, let's.

Paul: Yeah.

Chris: You know what? I left my bag at the club, so I will meet you at the airport, okay? Let me get the--

Chance: Oh, you-- no, no, no, no, no, look, Guys, this is on me. I'll take care of it.

Paul: No, no, you don't have to do that.

Chance: Stop. I'm happy to, okay?

Chris: All right, I will see you guys there.

Paul: All right, good luck.

Chance: Appreciate it. Thank you so much. All right, bye.

Paul: Okay?

Nina: Yeah.

Paul: You gonna miss me?

Nina: Of course I'm gonna miss you.

Chance: Here you go.

Chance: (Clears throat) Well, looks like this is good-bye for a while.

Ronan: You got your assignment.

Chance: Yeah. I'll be training at the pentagon.

Ronan: Congratulations.

Chance: Do me a favor while I'm gone-- Ronan, make up your mind. If you don't want a relationship with Mom, she'll adjust. But if you do, she would be thrilled. But making a half-assed attempt one day and then backing away the next-- Ronan, that's just brutal.

Ronan: It was never my intention to--

Chance: Look, none of us care whatever your intentions are or whatever game it is you're playing. All that we care about is that you stop hurting her.

Esther: Oh, Boy, I have vacuumed and scrubbed every square inch of Delia's room, including the ceiling.

Murphy: Esther, would you sit down and relax? Or we're gonna send you to the hospital to take Delia's place.

Esther: Oh, no. I am not going to miss her homecoming. Mnh-mnh.

Murphy: Unlike her other grandmother.

Esther: Still no word from Jill?

Murphy: You know, it's bad enough that Billy is a no-show, but how do you tell this little kid that her Grandma Jill has written a note that she's gone off somewhere? And who knows where, and for how long?

Esther: (Sighs) And Chance will be leaving, too. (Sighs)

Murphy: Well, that's different. I mean, he's serving his country. It's a sacrifice. Not like Jill, just gallivanting around, never concerned about anybody but herself.

Jill: (Sighs) I'm gonna tell 'em to bump my seat instead of yours.

Cane: No, no, no, no, no. It just--it should be me. Bump my seat.

Victoria: No, really. That's not necessary. It's really not.

Jill: Victoria, I think you should go home tonight.

Victoria: I will. I'm going home tonight. I'm on the next flight.

Jill: Yeah. (Scoffs) Maybe not. Maybe it'll be canceled. There's a storm coming in.

Victoria: Well, honestly, that'd be okay with me. I'm not really sure I'm ready to go home just yet anyway. I thought I'd, you know, spend a few days in the city. You need to get home to Delia, and you need to get home to Lily and the twins, and I'll be fine. Honestly, I'll be fine.

Cane: All right, listen, you, Guys, uh, figure it out. I have to make some calls, all right?

Jill: Mm.

(Cell phone rings)

Kevin: What's up?

Cane: So I just got a message from Billy saying he's headed to India?

Kevin: Well, unless you found the girl.

Cane: Well, I saw and talked to her, but I didn't realize it was her.

Kevin: We sent you a picture.

Cane: Well, I got the picture after I saw and talked to her, okay? And then all of a sudden, Jill and Victoria turn up.

Kevin: In Myanmar?

Cane: Yeah, they're looking for Billy, so I told them I followed them here, and, uh, now I'm bringin' 'em home. I'm stuck in this bar in New York on a layover.

Kevin: Well, let 'em know that, uh, Delia is being released from the hospital today.

Cane: That is great news. Does Billy know?

Kevin: Victor got to him before I could tell him. He's here, all kindness and concern. It's pretty revolting.

Cane: Listen, I gotta go, okay? I have some great news. That was, uh, Kevin. Cordelia's headed home.

Jill: Right now?

Cane: Yeah.

Victoria: Okay. That's great. Then that settles it. You need to get yourself back to Genoa City.

Cane: Listen, if we're gonna get the flight, we need to leave, okay?

Victoria: Yeah.

Jill: (Sighs) Okay. All right. But listen, remember what I said. Billy will turn up. He always turns up. Okay? Bye.

Cane: Take care.

Chloe: You know what I'm gonna tell daddy first thing when I see him? How good you were the entire time that you were in the hospital. He's gonna be so, so proud of you.

Delia: I'm all better now. He can come.

Chloe: You know what, Baby? Daddy's not staying away because you're sick. I mean, he doesn't even know.

Delia: Maybe he found out.

Chloe: You know what? If he found out, he would make sure to be here. Did you know that every time that you were sick, daddy would sit with you all night and make sure that you were okay? He would even listen to you breathe.

Delia: Not this time. Is he mad at me?

Chloe: (Sighs) No, Baby, he's not mad at you. You didn't do anything wrong.

Kevin: Hey, Delia, daddy would love to be here with you. I promise you. He wants to be here.

Delia: I want Daddy.

Chloe: I know, Baby. I know you do. I know.

Delia: What if daddy never comes back?

Chloe: (Sighs) No, because he will. He is gonna come back. He loves you. He loves you so much. You know that you are his favorite girl. You know that, right? Right.

Victor: Have there been a lot of days like that?

Chloe: You know, we've had our fair share.

Kevin: What do you say we get Delia out of here?

Victor: I have an idea. Remember Pinkerton the pony? Yeah? You know, I bet you Pinkerton would love to see you if you came by the ranch. Now you know I can't take you to the stables. You can't touch him yet. But I could lead Pinkerton by the reins and take him out to the car to see you.

Chloe: (Gasps)

Victor: Would you like that?

Chloe: Wow. Yes, we would. Thank you so much.

Cane: You know, I think the things you said to Victoria helped her.

Jill: She knew I didn't believe a word of what I was saying.

Cane: Sweetheart--

Jill: Don't. Don't give me a pep talk, okay? What do you think I've been repeating over and over like a mantra? But here are the facts-- drugs, prison, and vanishing from that Godforsaken place.

Cane: It could mean he got away.

Jill: (Sighs) Boy, I'd love to believe that.

Cane: Well, there's no evidence to prove anything else.

Jill: Cane, of course there's evidence. He would have contacted Victoria before now, or Delia if he could. I'm afraid he's really gone.

[Victoria remembering]

Billy: Chloe, yeah, uh, Man, my flight's been delayed. No, I-I-I don't--I don't know when we're gonna get outta here, so I guess I'll just see Delia sometime tomorrow. But, ooh, um... (Chuckles) Tell her I have a big surprise for her. All right, bye. (Groans) Hey, Man, I have no idea when this plane is gonna take off, if ever, so, uh, I hope you have enough green beer for me and my friend to keep us entertained.

Victoria: (Sighs) You know, I'd think twice about serving him if I were you. I've seen him drunk. (Chuckles) You think he's annoying now? You should just wait. Hello, "Fancy pants."

Billy: (Chuckles) This is like a bad joke. "A Newman and an Abbott walk into a bar..."

Nina: We were just on our way to see Delia when you called.

Chance: Yeah, I am so happy that she is coming home finally.

Murphy: And won't she be glad to see you again before you leave?

Esther: (Chuckles) I could use some help putting up the banner.

Chloe: Oh, well, volunteering for duty.

Nina: Oh, that's so like you.

Paul: (Laughs) Well, if you have it covered, I'm gonna take off. Thanks again for lunch.

Chance: No, thank you for lookin' after Mom. I really appreciate it, Paul.

Paul: Hey, it's my pleasure.

Chance: Excuse me.

Paul: Okay. So have fun in D.C.

Nina: Yeah, I will. But I'll miss you.

Paul: Good.

Nina: (Chuckles)

Paul: Walk me out?

Nina: Yes, Sir.

Murphy: We're gonna hang it up there?

Esther: Yeah.

Murphy: Okay.

Esther: Over here.

Chance: (Clears throat) Come here. Ran into Ronan at lunch.

Murphy: And? I mean, did he and your mom make any progress?

Chance: No, no, but they... they didn't get into it, either. So I spelled it out for him as we were leaving. He's not to give her a hard time ever again. But if anything happens and he steps out of line, you let me know, okay?

Murphy: Yeah.

Chance: Okay.

Ronan: Yes?

Chris: I'm on my way to the airport, but there are some things I wanted to say to you that I couldn't get into in front of Nina.

Ronan: All right. Hit me.

Chris: Did you request a transfer out of Genoa City?

Ronan: Yeah.

Chris: (Scoffs) I cannot believe you are gonna let this opportunity pass you by. You requested this assignment to be near Nina.

Ronan: That is your theory.

Chris: Yeah, and you're chickening out... again.

Ronan: I don't want you to miss your flight, so we should probably cut this short. Excuse me.

Chris: Ronan--

Victor: Good boy. Come here. Come here. There. Look at that.

Chloe: (Gasps) Oh, my goodness. Look, it's a real, live Pinkerton. Isn't he gorgeous?

Delia: Can we go home now?

Chloe: Yeah, okay. You know what? Why don't you get in your car seat? And I'll just talk to Mr. Newman for a minute and thank him for being so nice, okay? Good. Buckle yourself up.

Victor: Would you like her to ride you? Huh?

Chloe: Hi. I'm sorry. I think she's tired. I think I should take her home.

Victor: Oh, I'm sorry. That's understandable.

Chloe: Yeah. But, you know, maybe she can come back another time when she's feeling better.

Victor: Sure. Then she can ride him.

Chloe: Yeah.

Victor: All right? Okay.

Chloe: All right, thank you so much.

Victor: I will take him back to the stables.

Chloe: Okay.

Victor: All right, come on. Come here.

Kevin: Uh, why don't you, uh, get Delia home? I need to talk to Victor.

Chloe: No, we'll-- we'll wait for you.

Kevin: No, no, it's okay. It looks like she needs her bed. I'll just get a cab.

Chloe: Okay.

Kevin: Mwah.

Chloe: Thank you.

Kevin: Okay. Bye, you. Drive safe.

Chloe: Okay, seat belt on?

Kevin: (Sighs)

Victoria: (Sighs) Nothing from Mom.

Victoria: (Sighs)

Tank: I'll pass on the green beer.

Billy: No, Man. It's good for you. It'll make you grow big and strong.

Tank: (Sighs) Your father-in-law is a piece of work.

Billy: Yeah, really? What'd he do this time?

Tank: He wants me to stay in India and babysit you.

Billy: For how long?

Tank: Indefinitely.

Billy: (Laughs) Well, I'm sure you're gonna love life as a monk.

Tank: To hell with that. I got a kid to take care of.

Billy: Yeah, well, me, too, Buddy.

Tank: Yeah, well, he shouldn't be keeping either of us away from our girls. I'm done with this.

Billy: Excuse me?

Tank: You're free-- you're free to go.

Billy: Really? You're just-- that's...

Tank: Don't buy a ticket back home right this second, all right? Just give me some time to be able to come up with a cover story.

Billy: (Stammers) Sure. Do you want that beer? I mean, do you want...

Tank: (Sighs) I'm outta here.

Billy: Hey, Man.

Tank: Good luck to you, Billy.

Billy: Thanks.

Billy: (Sighs)

Esther: Did you see the banner?

Murphy: (Chuckles)

Esther: What do you think of the banner?

Chloe: Yes! It's great.

Murphy: (Sighs)

Chloe: Come on and sit down. Wah!

Murphy: Oh, we are so happy to have you back where-- where you belong.

Chloe: Mm-hmm.

Esther: And you came at the right time, too, 'cause guess what? Grandma is just about to pull out the banana bread from the oven. Can you smell it? Really?

Murphy: (Gasps)

Chloe: Mmm. Grandma knows all of your favorites.

Nina: Yummy.

Chance: Hey, DeeDee, I, unfortunately, have to go catch a plane.

Delia: You're leaving?

Nina: Oh. That's exactly how I feel when he has to go away.

Chloe: Remember that it's Chance's job to go all around the world to keep us safe. He's a very, very brave soldier.

Chance: But not as brave as you were when you were in the hospital. Hey, you know what? Can you do something for me while I'm gone? I want you to make sure that every single person in this house has a little bit of fun every day. Can you do that for me? Yeah? Awesome.

Chloe: Yeah.

Chance: And tell you what, you know, uh, if you find that you have some free time on your hands, you know, you can give me a phone call, too, if you want to, or--or maybe color some pictures of everything that's goin' on and things that you're doing. And, you know, when you go and-- and ride Mr. Newman's pony, you can send me some pictures of that, too. Can you do that? Yeah?

Chloe: Yeah.

Chance: Awesome. Thank you so much. Come here. Give me a hug.

Chloe: Mm, group hug! Squeeze!

Chance: (Laughs)

Victoria: (Sighs)

Jill: Forgive me.

Cane: You don't have to ask me for forgiveness.

Jill: I just had this idea that we could go over there, and we would find him, and we would give him what he needed, and we would bring him home safe, and it would start to sink in to him how much I love him. Because I don't think he ever really believed that. And now he may have... died not knowing.

Cane: Billy's not dead.

Jill: You don't know that. (Sobs)

Cane: Yeah, I do. I know it. He's not dead.

Kevin: Victor!

Victor: Aren't you supposed to be with Cordelia?

Kevin: No. But you know who's supposed to be with her? Her father. I can't take this anymore. I don't know how you can take it-- watching her cry and blame herself for Billy disappearing when the whole thing is your fault!

Victor: Has it not finally dawned on you that it was Billy Abbott's decision to leave his family and that beautiful girl alone?

Kevin: Yeah, well, you're the one who can bring him back, and that is exactly what you're gonna do.

Paul: I knew it.

Chris: Oh. What?

Paul: You came back here to get into Ronan's face, didn't you?

Chris: I did, but it didn't work. Still, I had to try.

Paul: Well, one day, he will figure out what he's missing out on.

Chris: Come wait with me for my cab?

Paul: Oh, your cab's gone.

Chris: What?

Paul: There were two people waiting for a cab, so I let them take it, because, uh, you have a ride to the airport.

Chris: Thank you.

Paul: (Chuckles)

Chris: I wasn't gonna ask, but...

Paul: Oh, you don't have to ask. You should know that by now.

Chris: I know. Thank you. All right, let's get goin'.

Ronan: No. No, it's-- it's good the transfer hasn't gone through yet. I've changed my mind. I'm gonna stay in Genoa City, finish what I came here to do.

Murphy: So, uh, I tell you, let's, uh, head on out back and say good-bye to Katherine, and she'll want to know that Delia's back, too.

Esther: Oh, you have your banana bread?

Chance: I wouldn't leave without it.

Nina: (Chuckles) After all, it is incredible, isn't it? Tell you what, can I get one little fist bump before I go?

Chloe: (Chuckles)

Chance: Right there? Boom!

Chloe: Yeah. (Laughs)

Chance: All right, DeeDee, you get some rest, okay?

Chloe: Oh, we will. That is the plan, right? We'll talk to you soon.

Chance: Okay.

Chloe: Bye.

Nina: Bye, Cutie Pie.

Chloe: Bye. (Sighs) So what do you think? Should we go take a nap?

Delia: Will you read to me?

Chloe: Oh, yeah, I think that's a great idea. What do you want to read?

Delia: The monster book.

Chloe: Ahh, the monster book. Daddy's favorite. And he makes all those funny voices, doesn't he? Well, you know what? I might not be as good as daddy, but I'm gonna give it my best shot, okay? Okay. Let's go. Upstairs.

Jill: How could you not tell me you've been talking to Billy?

Cane: There are reasons he's laying low, and I can't get into it. But I can't sit here and watch you mourn him the way you mourned me and not say anything.

Jill: You are unbelievable. And so is Billy for deceiving us this way.

Cane: Please don't be angry with him. Believe me, there's nothing more that he wants than to be with his family.

Victor: You know who you're playing with? Is it your intention to expose what I've done?

Kevin: No, that wouldn't do anyone any good, and it wouldn't bring Billy back.

Victor: That's right. There's no way that you could bring Billy back.

Kevin: Right. But you can, and you're going to for Delia. You've seen what she's going through. She thinks-- she thinks that he's rejecting her because she's not good enough, and that is gonna mess her up for the rest of her life.

Victor: You said what you came to say. Now go on home, all right?

Kevin: (Sighs) How does one get a cab around here?

(Cell phone rings) (Ring)

Victor: Yep. Everything all right?

Tank: Yes, I got your text. I did what you wanted.

Victor: Thank you.

Tank: How come you didn't want, uh, Billy to know that you decided to let him go?

Victor: Uh, there'll be a check waiting for you when you get home. Thank you for your assistance, all right?

Billy: (Sighs) Best part of having your flight delayed-- green beer.

Victoria: Billy?

Next on "The Young and the Restless"...
