Abby: I'm not the one you should be telling this to, Mom, okay? Go to a shrink or a minister or--

Ashley: It has to be someone I trust, someone I know will keep this a secret.

Ronan: We may have hit the jackpot here.

Buddy: We got Abby Newman to wear a wire.

Ronan: Her own mother's about to admit to murder.

Ashley: I was there that night in the park, the night Diane was killed.

Abby: Mom, stop.

Ashley: Abby, what I did-- I'm in trouble.

Abby: I-I can't listen to this.

Ashley: What do you mean, you can't listen to this?

Tucker: Can't listen to what? What's your mom telling you now that you don't want to hear?

Chloe: You're my brave little girl. And you demolished that ice pop. Didn't you? You know what? I bet you we can ask Nurse Kathy for a new one. Want one more? Yeah, one more.

Kevin: Knock, knock.

Chloe: Hi.

Kevin: How's the patient?

Chloe: Uh, you know, she's tired. She just finished her first round of treatment, but come on. Come on in. Look who's here.

Kevin: (Sighs) Well, I just stopped by the house, and I saw your grandma, and you know what she told me? She said that besides for Pinkerton, McRuff here is your favorite.

Delia: He's from Daddy.

Kevin: Oh, yeah? (Growls) (Barks) You know what he just said? He said that he's lonely, and he wonders if he can stay here with you and Pinkerton.

Delia: When is Daddy coming?

Chloe: Remember, Baby? I told you that Daddy is really, really far away, and, um, you know, his-- his cell phone is broken, so we can't get in touch with him.

Delia: Can't he get a new one?

Chloe: Yeah--

Cane: (Silly voice) Hello. (Normal voice) Hey, is someone up for visitors?

Chloe: (Gasps) Well, aren't you miss popular?

Cane: Hey, Kev.

Kevin: Hi.

Cane: Hey, Man. Hey. Hello, pretty girl. (Silly voice) What's shakin'? (Normal voice) How you doin'? Huh?

Chloe: (Sighs)

Delia: (Giggles)

Victoria: Uh, last thing and most importantly, I want you to send out a memo encouraging everyone to have a bone marrow test. We still haven't found a donor for Delia. Great. Can you transfer me to my dad? He's not? No, okay, fine. Just, uh, have Connie tell him to give me a call when he gets in. Thank you.

Sam: (Sighs)

Victoria: Oh, hey, Cutie! Hey. How was your walk?

Sam: Well, he took off after a squirrel. I damn near had to face-plant on the concrete.

Victoria: (Gasps) Oh, my gosh.

Sam: Come here, Buddy.

Victoria: Oh, are you hurt?

Sam: (Sighs) Just my pride.

Victoria: (Chuckles)

Sam: How's Delia?

Victoria: Uh, well, today was her first chemo treatment, so... she looked so tiny and small when the nurse wheeled her away. She looked so scared.

Sam: Well, you know, a buddy of mine went through it with his son, and he's fine now. He's actually playing little league.

Victoria: Oh, good. Well, thanks. Just keep reminding me of that.

Sam: I keep telling everybody I meet to get tested, you know?

Victoria: Right.

(Knock on door)

Victoria: Oh. Excuse me a second.

Sam: Hey, Buddy. (Makes kissing sounds) Hey, come here.

Jack: Hi.

Victoria: Hi, uh, did you get my message about Delia?

Jack: Yeah, I'm sorry I haven't gotten back to you sooner. I've been puttin' out fires all day.

Victoria: Yeah, I understand.

Jack: Dr. Gibson.

Sam: Hey, Jack, how are you? Please, it's, uh, it's Sam.

Jack: Hey.

Victoria: Yeah.

Jack: Your dog?

Victoria: Uh, Sam is renting the garage apartment, and Keely is just visiting.

Jack: Is it, uh, okay to pet him?

Sam: Yeah, yeah, sure.

Jack: Hey. Hey.

Sam: He's a rescue. He loves the attention.

Jack: Hi there.

Victoria: Hey, um, any luck tracking down Billy?

Jack: (Sighs) None. And I can't reach Victor. He's doing his own search for Billy. Has he talked to you?

Victoria: No, I haven't talked to him today. I'm sure he's just tied up in a meeting or something.

Sam: You know, I was out at the ranch earlier, and one of the hands told me he left town on business.

Victoria: What? He never mentioned that to me. I wonder where he went.

Victor: Yeah, I just got back. No, I have not stopped by the office yet. Um... yeah, I found Billy. Worse than I thought. Whether the whole thing was a success remains to be seen, okay?

Cane: So G'day. My name's Boomer, short for "Boomerang," and I'm a koala bear from Australia.

Chloe: (Chuckles) Did you know that's where Cane is from?

Cane: And look at the big doggy you've already got. So I thought that your little pink horsey here might like to have a friend, and I think they're gonna be really good mates.

Chloe: Well, stuffed animals are like shoes, Dee, right? A girl can never have too many. It's really cute. Oh, look how cute he is.

Kevin: You are gonna have so many stuffed animals, the nurses aren't gonna be able to find you.

Chloe: Mm, thank you, Cane.

Delia: Thank you, Cane.

Cane: You're welcome, Sweetheart.

Kevin: (Chuckles)

Cane: I, um, I went and got tested. I'm not a match, so I'm asking everyone at Jimmy's to go and get tested, also.

Chloe: Thank you.

Cane: Sure.

Chloe: You know, the more people who get tested, the better chances the odds are.

Kevin: Hey, "Squish," I'm gonna take off for a little while, okay? But I'll be back soon. I won't be long.

Chloe: Okay. Hey, it looks like someone's gettin' sleepy. All right? So why don't you close your eyes and just take a little nap, yeah?

Delia: Are you leaving, too?

Chloe: No, no, Baby. I'm gonna be right over here, okay? Close your eyes. Go to sleep.

Cane: So, um, how are you doing? How--how are you holding up?

Chloe: I'm okay, you know? I'm doing my best. You know, Billy's not here, so it's all on me. I just have to be her rock.

Cane: Yeah, when Lily was sick, you know, she was the strong one. You know, I was always about to break down.

Chloe: Well, I'm amazed as to how well she's coping, but I've just gotta wonder what's going on underneath that smile.

Cane: Do you think Lily should talk to her?

Chloe: I-I mean, I think that would be a great idea. Do you think Lily would mind?

Cane: No, no, no, no, no, no. I mean, she can't be tested, because, you know, after cancer, she can't be a bone marrow donor, so I think, you know, she'd like it.

Chloe: Yeah, you know, it's--it's really amazing how many people have just been showing up. I mean, staff from "Restless Style," people from New York, old friends from boarding school... I mean, the most unlikely people. It's been really, really humbling.

Victoria: Okay, thanks, Connie. Bye.

Sam: You know what? I'm gonna go and let y'all visit.

Victoria: No, it's-- it's okay. It's fine. Uh, it looks like Dad had to take a last-minute trip overseas.

Jack: Well, he must not have any leads on Billy, or we would have heard.

Victoria: Yeah, I guess not.

Jack: Okay, you goin' back to the hospital?

Victoria: Yeah, I'm thinkin' about it. Maybe later. Are you?

Jack: No, I'm gonna dig around for a little while. There must be something we overlooked that maybe could help us find Billy.

Victoria: (Sighs) It's just really heartbreaking hearing Delia ask for her dad over and over again.

Jack: Yeah, it's pretty rotten, a kid loosing a parent. I can tell ya, watching Kyle these days.

Sam: Is that your son?

Jack: Yeah. (Sighs) Say what you will about Diane. She always made sure she was a presence in Kyle's life. Anyway, I'll let you know what I find out, all right?

Victoria: Thanks, Jack.

Jack: I'm glad you got somebody to keep you company. Good to see you again, Doc.

Sam: You, too, Jack. Take care.

Victoria: Oh, well, Keely needs to be fed. (Chuckles)

Sam: I'm happy to do it, if you like.

Victoria: Oh, okay. I mean, if you don't mind.

Sam: No, I don't mind at all.

Victoria: Thanks.

Sam: What about you? Did you eat anything?

Victoria: Yeah, I-I had a banana, and... um, I had some milk in my coffee. Does that count?

Sam: No, not really. See, you spend all your time trying to take care of everybody else, and you end up neglecting you. You need to find somebody to take care of you.

Victoria: Uh, yeah. That's a great idea. Like who?

Sam: Like me, actually.

Victoria: (Sighs)

Abby: You know, it's been a long day, and I obviously freaked out over nothing, so if it's all the same to you guys, I'm just gonna head out.

Tucker: Wait, wait, wait, wait. Is this about me and your mom? Is this about us gettin' back together?

Abby: I'm sorry, can we just do this any other time, please?

Tucker: No, no, we can't. I'm--I'm--I'm sick of this coming in between us. Now I want to know. Whatever it is, let's get it out on the table. We'll talk it out.

Abby: No. No.

Ashley: I think Abby and I need to talk about this in private.

Tucker: No, she's gonna have to level with me sooner or later.

Abby: I choose later. (Scoffs) Get out of my way, or I will have you charged with kidnapping.

Tucker: I'm not moving until I know what's going on.

Abby: Fine. Fine. You know what? Stay here all day. (Sighs)

Ashley: Abby! Abby, are you okay? What are you doing in there?

Abby: Um, damage control. I just hope I'm not too late.

Tucker: What the hell was that about?

Ronan: We're gonna have to send Abby some flowers. She's makin' our job a lot easier.

Buddy: I thought Ashley Abbott already copped to being in the park the night of the Jenkins murder.

Ronan: Yeah, but she said she didn't see Diane Jenkins.

Buddy: Lying to a police officer.

Ronan: Mm-hmm. Obstructing a murder investigation. It's a class A misdemeanor, and I've got it all on tape.

(Door slides open)

Abby: You're gonna pretend you didn't hear any of that.

Ronan: (Scoffs)

Tucker: You know, I realize Abby can be a bit, um...

Ashley: Dramatic?

Tucker: Dramatic, yeah. But, you know, that was unusual, even for her. Maybe I made things worse by puttin' her on the spot like that.

Ashley: Oh, I think it's probably a-a good thing you came in when you did.

Tucker: So what do you think set her off? Was I right? Is--was it about us?

Ashley: Oh, you know what? I don't really-- I don't want to talk about it. She said some horrible things to me when I saw her earlier.

Tucker: So she came here to apologize?

Ashley: Well, I know that she was actually looking for you.

Tucker: What does Abby want with me?

Abby: You played me. I never, ever should have let you talk me into doing this.

Ronan: Played you? I played you? You volunteered for this.

Abby: To get Tucker's confession.

Ronan: Well, things didn't turn out the way you planned.

Abby: My mom being at the park-- it was a coincidence.

Ronan: (Sighs) See, Abby, I don't believe in coincidences.

Abby: What is wrong with you? Tucker killed Diane.

Ronan: Evidence, Abby. I need evidence to back that claim of yours.

Abby: I am begging you, okay? I'm begging you. Don't use this against my mom.

Ronan: Abby, this is an ongoing murder investigation, and I have to use everything--

Abby: Don't you need a warrant or something? You--you can't just go around recording people because you feel like it. There's gotta be a law.

Ronan: There is.

Abby: Thank God.

Ronan: And it's on my side.

Cane: Okay, I am gonna show you a magic trick, all right? You see this quarter? Don't take your eyes off this quarter, whatever you do, okay? Look over there. Where'd it go?

Chloe: (Laughs)

Cane: (Laughs) Is it in my hand? Huh?

Chloe: Whoa, that was a really good trick. (Laughs)

Cane: No. You like that?

Chloe: Hey, you know what? You've always been really great with her.

Cane: Thank you. That's one of the, uh, one of the few positive things I've heard in a while. Thank you.

Chloe: Mm, it doesn't mean that I've changed my mind about what you did.

Cane: Oh, and I don't expect you to, but, you know, it's nice to hear someone say something other than, "Hey, Cane Ashby, you are a dirt bag."

Chloe: (Chuckles) Well, for what its worth, I think it's really great that you're in her life, and Dee needs people around her who care.

Cane: Yeah. Kids are everything.

Chloe: It must be really hard not having contact with the twins, huh?

Cane: Actually, Lily has let them, uh, spend time with me again.

Chloe: Great. Good for her.

Cane: Thank you.

Chloe: You know, I think that you're a really great dad.

Cane: Thanks.

Chloe: Oh.

Cane: Hey.

Chloe: Oh, hi. Hey. Hi.

Lily: Hi.

Chloe: Um, we were just talking about you a little while ago.

Lily: Yeah, I-I know. Um, Cane called me.

Cane: When I was out in the hallway.

Chloe: Oh, well, you didn't have to rush over like that.

Lily: No, I-I wanted to. Listen, if there's anything that I can do for Delia, I would love to help.

Jack: Where are you, Billy? Oh, you are gonna hate yourself for not being there for Delia.

Ashley: I don't know why Abby wanted to see you.

Tucker: Well, I'll give her a call and find out.

Ashley: You know what? Um, I want to handle this one, okay?

Tucker: As long as you don't let her upset you like that again.

Ashley: I won't. Thank you... for being so understanding.

Tucker: I should be thanking you... for comin' home to me. (Sighs) You know how grateful I am to you for forgiving me?

Ashley: I love you. I need you.

Tucker: I love you.

Ashley: Oh, we've had so many obstacles. I just wish we could get on with our lives.

Tucker: We can. I'm not gonna let anything stand in our way.

Ronan: Before we got you wired up, a judge had to sign off on audio surveillance, so this whole project is legit.

Abby: But we were targeting Tucker, not my mom.

Ronan: Anything that this mic picked up is fair game. I need a copy of that recording, Buddy.

Buddy: Here you go.

Ronan: Thank you.

Abby: (Scoffs) What are you gonna do with that?

Ronan: This is evidence in a murder investigation, all right? I promise you, Ashley will never know you were behind the recording.

Abby: No, my mother is not a murderer.

Ronan: (Scoffs) So you say.

Abby: Look, could you just not be a tool? Just for once, could you just be a good guy and let this go?

Ronan: I am a good guy, Abby, and you can leave now. Thank you. Wait, where's my condenser mic?

Abby: What?

Ronan: Condenser mic.

Abby: I-I gave you everything I have.

Ronan: Well, I don't see it.

Abby: (Scoffs)

Sam: Between the fridge and the pantry, you've got just about all the ingredients to make my granny's famous chili.

Victoria: Oh, good. Uh, need help?

Sam: No. The point of letting me do for you is to actually let me do for you. Relax. You've got time to go to the hospital, if you like.

Victoria: Oh, really? I mean, are you sure you don't mind?

Sam: Go on. Get out of here. Supper will be ready when you get back. Keely's gonna keep me company.

Victoria: Wow. Okay, great. Um, I actually cannot remember the last time that I had a home-cooked meal.

Sam: How are you with spices? You--you a gringo?

Victoria: Yes, I am a gringo, but I like a little heat in my chili.

Sam: All right, don't say I didn't warn you.

Victoria: Wow, it's kinda nice being pampered for a change.

Sam: Keely, get out of the garbage, damn it!

Victoria: (Sighs)

Billy: According to this, uh, only 5% of bone marrow donors come from parents. These are crappy odds, Man. I mean, we're playin' against the house here.

Victor: I got you out of that damn prison in Myanmar, and brought you all the way back here because there was a cheek swab that indicated that you might be a good match for Delia, okay? The best chance she has to find a donor.

Billy: Okay, great. So when am I gonna get the blood test?

Victor: It's being arranged right now.

(Thud outside)

Victor: Is there someone around here?

Billy: No, it's Amelia the raccoon. She lives under the trailer.

Victor: No one better find out that you're here.

Billy: No one's even gonna think to look for me here.

Victor: I think I'm gonna get you different accommodations.

Billy: No, no, no, no, no. No, you're not. I-I'm gonna need my space.

Victor: Remember our deal, don't you?

Billy: Yes, I remember our deal. I-I fully remember our deal. And Delia is all that matters, okay? But you know what, Man? I'm goin' crazy here. I don't know if she's okay, what's going on with her or-- or anything. Can you just-- will you do me a favor? Can't you call somebody and get an--an update a-a-about her? I mean, if she's okay? Something? Please, sir?

Victor: (Sighs)

Lily: So the scariest part was just not knowing what was gonna happen next. But can I tell you a secret? I used to pretend that my nurse was really a fairy Godmother and that my doctor was a powerful wizard who had a magic potion.

Cane: And it made Lily well again.

Lily: That's right. Hey, you know what? We can have our own special club. We can be pinkie pals. Would you like that? Yeah? You would? Okay, cool. So shake my finger, and then say, "Pinkie pals."

Delia: Pinkie pals.

Lily: Yeah! All right! And we'll be friends forever, okay?

Chloe: Looks like someone's gettin' tired again.

Lily: Yeah. I think we should go.

Chloe: You know what? I think I'm actually gonna crawl in bed with her and take a nap myself.

Lily: (Chuckles)

Cane: All right. Okay, pretty girl, you take care, okay, Sweetie?

Lily: All right? Bye, Pinkie pal. See you later. (Chuckles)

Chloe: Thanks for coming by, Guys.

Lily: Of course, and listen, if she ever needs to talk, or if you ever need to talk, then please, just call me, okay?

Chloe: Thank you.

Lily: Bye.

Chloe: Bye.

Lily: Bye.

Chloe: Bye. Thanks.

Kevin: (Quietly) Hi.

Chloe: (Quietly) Hi. Shh.

Kevin: She's asleep?

Chloe: Yeah, she's just going down.

Kevin: Uh, so I set up a donor drive at Crimson Lights. Anyone who gets tested gets a free coffee.

Chloe: Wow. That's such a great idea. Thank you.

Kevin: Sure. I'm not a match. But we are gonna find someone who is. I promise you.

Chloe: Okay.

Jack: (Quietly) Hi.

Chloe: Hey. Look. Look what he's doing. What a great idea, right?

Jack: Very cool.

Kevin: Yeah.

Jack: How's our little munchkin doing?

Chloe: She's tired, really, really tired. But Lily just came by, and, um, that was really nice of her. I think it helped.

Kevin: Any luck finding Billy?

Jack: No, not yet. Macao, Shanghai, Rio-- no one's seen him in his favorite haunts. I went by the trailer to see if maybe I'd overlooked some lead.

Chloe: You know what? He just always leaves a path of destruction whenever he's on a bender, and it just makes no sense for him to be so quiet.

Kevin: He must not want to be found.

Chloe: (Sighs)

Jack: Oh, I did find this, though. I thought maybe Delia would want to have it.

Chloe: No, no, you put that away. I don't want her to see that.

Victoria: No one in the family is a match. Um, we're getting the word out to everyone to get tested.

Victor: So what can I do?

Victoria: (Sighs) Any luck finding Billy?

Victor: No, nothing new on that front.

Victoria: Well, if he knew about Delia, nothing would keep him away. We've gotta find him. Just keep looking.

Victor: I will, Sweetheart.

Victoria: Bye, Dad.

Victor: Bye.

Billy: That was Vicki, right? Did she say if Delia's starting chemotherapy yet?

Victor: Mm-hmm.

Billy: How is she handling it?

Victor: Well, she's a little tired, but handling it.

Billy: Well, I mean, have they found a possible donor yet? Anyone close? Any match at all? Anything?

Victor: Not yet.

Billy: Well, have the doctors considered doing an autologous transplant?

Victor: What is that? I've never heard of it before.

Billy: I-I-it's where after a few treatments, they can harvest cells from Delia, and then they can transplant them back in after therapy. Now the chances of relapse are so much higher, but if they can't find a donor, it might be a good way to start. I--all this stuff, you know?

Victor: Victoria didn't mention anything about that. She didn't go into details.

Billy: Are you sure this doctor knows what he's doing?

Victor: This doctor, Dr. Larson, is supposedly the best. She's in good hands.

Billy: How long does Delia have to stay in the hospital?

Victor: I don't know that. But I'll find out from Victoria, and then I'll let you know.

Billy: Is Vicki spending a lot of time with Delia?

Victor: If I were you, I would forget about Victoria, all right? You're here for Delia. I don't want you to see my daughter again. Is that clear?

Billy: Oh, yeah, that's clear.

Tucker: (Sighs) Sorry about that. I had to get that out to Sof. It's time-sensitive.

Ashley: No problem.

Tucker: How about a drink to celebrate your homecoming?

Ashley: Um, I was thinking of another way maybe we could celebrate.

Tucker: Oh? Okay. Oh, God, I missed you.

Tucker: (Sighs)

Ashley: What?

Tucker: Sweetie, there's something here. (Sighs)

Ashley: What is it?

Tucker: It's a microphone.

Ashley: Wait a minute. A microphone? How'd it get here?

Tucker: Abby.

Abby: You know, I-I threw everything in my purse. It has to be in there somewhere.

Ronan: Abby, there's nothing in here.

Abby: (Stammers) It must have fallen out. Uh, what do you want me to do? You want me to go look for it? Retrace my steps?

Ronan: No, I'm good. Thanks. I can handle it from here. You can leave now. Thank you for your help.

Abby: (Scoffs) Yeah, helping my mom go straight to jail.

(Van door slides shut)

Ronan: Yeah, it's Malloy. Abby Newman just left the van. I want to know where she goes.

Abby: Checking up on me?

Ashley: Hi. Yeah, you rushed out of here. You okay?

Abby: I'm all right.

Ashley: I want to see you.

Abby: Breakfast tomorrow?

Ashley: Now.

Abby: I can't right now.

Ashley: Sure you can. I want you to drop everything and meet me at Crimson Lights, okay?

Abby: But--

Ashley: I'll see you there.

Tucker: You sure you want to do this?

Ashley: My own daughter listening in on our conversations? Yeah. I'm not gonna sleep until I know the truth.

Tucker: I could be wrong.

Ashley: I don't think you are. In fact, I think it's very possible that Detective Malloy pressured her into wearing a wire, and she probably agreed, because she wants to get you into trouble.

Tucker: Well, then why did she run the minute I showed up? I mean, she--she couldn't wait to get out of here.

Ashley: I don't know. Maybe she had a change of heart.

Tucker: I'm really sick of her hurting you this way. This has gotta stop.

Ashley: Which is why I'm gonna confront her right now, face-to-face.

Tucker: I'll walk you out.

Ashley: Honey.

Tucker: Hmm?

Ashley: You gonna walk me to the door of my own home every time I leave?

Tucker: Maybe.

Ashley: (Laughs) You know what you should do?

Tucker: What?

Ashley: Maybe you should take a shower-- a cold shower, huh?

Tucker: Ohh.

Ashley: I'm not gonna be gone too long.

Tucker: Okay.

Ashley: Okay?

Tucker: I think I'll do that.

Ashley: I'll be back.

Tucker: Okay.

Jack: What's wrong with Delia seeing a picture of Billy?

Chloe: Because it is one more reminder that her father isn't here, okay? She keeps on asking me for him, and what am I supposed to tell her? "I'm sorry, your father is off blowing his entire fortune shooting craps and betting on ponies"?

Kevin: That's a little harsh.

Chloe: Well, it's the truth, and she's gonna find out sooner or later.

Jack: We don't know what's going on with Billy.

Chloe: Well, I don't really give a damn, because my daughter's going through hell, and she wants her father here. She wants him here holding her hand and making her feel better, and making her laugh, and I've got this stupid dog staring her in the face reminding her that her father is still nowhere to be found.

Kevin: Chloe, you should have said something. I'll bring it back to the house.

Chloe: No, don't. Don't take it away, because she loves it. So now that's just gonna upset her.

Jack: I know you only want what's best for Delia. I know you're trying to protect her. We all are.

Chloe: I'm not trying to be a bitch.

Jack: There is nothing wrong with Delia knowing she has a father that loves her. Regardless what your personal feelings are for Billy, you know he would be here in a flash if he knew she was sick.

Kevin: I'm with Jack.

Chloe: This is not a democracy. You don't get a vote. Put it away.

(Cell phone alert chimes)

Kevin: Um, I, uh, I have to take off for a little bit. I'll be back. Can I bring you anything? Some food or something?

Chloe: No, I'm not hungry.

Kevin: Okay. Hi.

Victoria: Hi.

Kevin: She's asleep.

Victoria: She's asleep. That's a-- that's a beautiful picture.

Jack: I found it in the trailer. I thought maybe Delia would want it.

Chloe: Yeah, it's just another reminder that Billy pulled a Houdini.

Jack: Think she'd like to have that?

Chloe: Kids like a lot of things that are not good for them, Jack. You think it's a good idea?

Victoria: We're talking about her father.

Chloe: Well, I think it's best if her memories of him just fade away.

Jack: It's not that simple.

Victoria: Listen, the fact of the matter is we haven't found Billy, and there's a pretty good chance we may never find him.

Billy: It seems that there's a researcher in Seattle who has had some luck fortifying the body's immune system.

Victor: Give me his or her number. I'll follow up.

Billy: Okay, um... So what's the holdup, Man? When do I get my blood drawn?

Victor: The lab tech will be here tonight, all right?

Billy: Okay, and if I am a viable donor, I mean, how are we gonna keep this anonymous? Chloe's gonna want to meet the donor.

Victor: I have a plan, okay?

(Telephone rings)

Tucker: Hello?

Ronan: Ashley Abbott, please.

Tucker: Who's calling?

Ronan: It's Detective Malloy.

Tucker: Well, she's not here. Did you try her cell?

Ronan: I did. She isn't picking up that line, either. And the front desk at the Athletic Club said she's checked out.

Tucker: Well, this is her home. And like I said, she's not here at the moment.

Ronan: Would you, uh, mind passing on a message then for me?

Tucker: What is it?

Ronan: I'd like to see her in my office first thing tomorrow morning.

Tucker: Why?

Ronan: Have a good night.

(Phone hangs up)

Abby: Well, I had to cancel my Pilates session. So what was so important you couldn't wait?

Ashley: Care to explain that?

Abby: I...

Lily: Thank you. Well, three times in one day.

Cane: Yeah, uh, you know they say that the, uh, éclairs here are really good, so...

Lily: Yeah.

Cane: So, um, thank you for coming by the hospital.

Lily: Yeah, of--of course. I just--I really hope it helped Delia, so...

Cane: Yeah. Yeah, I think it did.

Lily: It just brought back so many memories being in that room. Just the I.V. drips and the beeping noises and her tired eyes.

Cane: They were tough times, huh?

Lily: Yeah. But you made it easier. Um, I have to go.

Sam: (Sighs) That smells good, doesn't it, Dude? Yeah. A bowl of firehouse chili, a cold bottle of beer... Man, that is livin', isn't it? People in this town-- I tell you, they need to get their mind off their troubles, huh? Stop and smell the chili a bit more often. Isn't that right? Yeah.

Chloe: You said it. Delia may never see her father ever again.

Jack: Pretending Billy doesn't exist isn't gonna make her forget about him. He's obviously on her mind.

Victoria: Yeah. You know, she idolizes him. I don't know anybody that has a father as fun as Billy. I mean, think of all of the great memories that she has of him-- the water pistol fights and the backwards dinner. Remember that? And the-- oh, "The Blue Abbott group"? Remember? They got covered with the paint?

Chloe: We couldn't get that gunk out of her hair for weeks.

Victoria: Yeah. How is she supposed to forget that? I mean, Billy could make her laugh like nobody.

Jack: Don't make Delia pay the price for Billy not being here.

Chloe: (Sighs) You're right. She should cherish all those memories.

Billy: So you have a plan. You want to tell me what this plan is to keep me a secret?

Victor: If you are a match, then I have someone who will pose as your donor. That way, no one will come around here and try to look for you, okay?

Billy: A faux donor? I mean, can you trust this guy?

Victor: That's not my concern. What is of my concern is that you not tell him about our deal--not a word.

Billy: Why the hell would I do that? And who is this guy? I mean, can you trust him? Do I--do I know him? I mean, what sort of lowlife is gonna lie for money? I assume it's for money, unless you have something on him. Who am I talking to? Of course you have something on him. (Stammers) Who we talkin' about here? I mean, what is this?

(Knock on door)

Billy: Um--

Victor: Don't worry about it. Don't worry. Don't worry. It's for me.

Kevin: Hi. Why did you want me to meet--?

Billy: What the hell? Him? Seriously? Really? This--this--this guy?

Kevin: You're back?

Billy: Really? You're gonna use him? Have you lost your mind? This isn't gonna work.

Victor: You calm down, all right? You just sit and watch. I know what I'm doing.

Billy: (Scoffs) (Chuckles)

Next on "The Young and the Restless"...

Jill: Colin has proved once and for all what a jerk he is.

Colin: Gloria.

Gloria: What are you doing--?

Colin: Don't let the door--

Billy: What are you doing?

Kevin: I'm calling Chloe. She needs to know you're back. You need to go to the hospital and get tested to see if you're a match.

Billy: (Mutters) Come here.
