Episode # 9711 ~ Lily Tells Cane She Wants a Divorce
Provided By Suzanne
Proofread By Emma
Lily: You know, I think that anybody looking at us would not believe the drama that we have survived.
Daniel: I think anybody looking at me would be thinking how damn lucky I am to be with you, and they'd be right.
Daniel: Maybe I shouldn't have done that.
Lily: No. Uh, no, it's fine. We just, y--
Daniel: Haven't talked about it?
Lily: Yeah, but its fine. Don't--you don't have to--
Daniel: No, no, no, no, no, no, you know, I think that we should. Um, I don't want to push the issue, but I feel like there's something there, you know, even though I did everything possible to try and screw it up before. But I know you're still gettin' over Cane.
Lily: I am over him.
Cane: (Sighs)
Colin: (Hits bar top) My usual.
Cane: Well, you're gonna have to be a little more specific than that, won't you?
Colin: (Scoffs) My, how quick we forget. You know, I recall a time when you and Caleb used to fight over who was gonna make the drink for me when I came home from work.
Cane: Ohh, that's right. See, another example of how you used to pit the two of us against each other, proving what a lousy father you are. Okay.
Genevieve: I'll second that. The "Happy family," together again.
Paul: Yeah, just, uh, call me when you get this. Uh, it's important. Hey.
Ronan: Hey.
Paul: I keep getting Nina’s voice mail. Have you been able to get a hold of her?
Ronan: No, I haven’t.
Paul: Have you even tried?
Ronan: No, I haven’t.
Paul: (Scoffs) You are unbelievable, you know that? At the very least, you owe it to your mother to at least let her--
Ronan: I don't consider that woman my mother, one. Two, I don't owe her a damn thing.
Nina: What do you mean, he's not able to contact me? Is--is Chance injured? On assignment, where? (Sighs) Classified. Well, do you know when he will be able to contact me? I wish you could, too. Uh, thank you, Captain Hokett. I appreciate you calling. Good-bye.
Esther: Maybe it's not a dangerous mission.
Jill: No, maybe it's just something politically sensitive.
Nina: You don't believe that any more than I do.
Jill: Nina, try not to imagine the worst, okay?
Nina: I don't have to imagine the worst, do I? I've been through it. I don't think I can go through it again.
Jill: (Sighs)
Kevin: You just now dropped Delia at preschool?
Chloe: Yeah, I let her sleep in. She had a mega-tantrum last night. (Sighs) Poor thing just cried herself to sleep.
Kevin: Hmm.
Chloe: Don't do that.
Kevin: Don't do, what?
Chloe: I know what you're thinking. Just go ahead. Just go ahead and say it. (Scoffs)
Kevin: She misses her dad.
Chloe: Yeah, of course she does. She loves Billy. But that doesn't mean that it's a good idea for them to be spending time with each other when he's always out of control. Look, I hate being the bad guy. It breaks my heart to watch her be upset all the time, but, you know, you're making it even more difficult with you giving me grief about it all the time, okay?
Kevin: (Sighs)
Victoria: Thank you so much for coming by.
Victor: No problem at all.
Victoria: We'll have fewer interruptions here, and, um, we're gonna need a big block of time, because I'm overflowing with ideas about "The Naked Heiress" campaign.
Victor: About that--
Victoria: Dad, if you're worried about Abby being overexposed, uh, you know that I'm gonna look out for her.
Victor: You know we have to look out for Abby, and we have to look out for Newman Enterprises, and that's why I'm pulling the plug on the entire campaign.
Victoria: You were so enthused about this idea.
Victor: And I still am, Sweetheart. Abby would be a very good spokesperson for Beauty of Nature. But now is not the right time.
Victoria: Did Abby do something to tick you off?
Victor: What I'm about to tell you cannot leave this room, all right?
Victor: That night Tucker McCall was almost killed, Abby was behind the wheel, and she was intoxicated, and Ashley covered for her so Abby wouldn't go to jail.
Victoria: Does Tucker know?
Victor: Apparently he does, yeah. He's not pressing charges. Um, Abby was very contrite and very remorseful.
Victoria: (Sighs) Is anyone else aware?
Victor: Here's the problem-- Abby videotaped her confession.
Victoria: What?
Victor: And somehow, of all people, Diane Jenkins got a hold of that videotape.
Victoria: (Sighs)
Victor: So, uh, I guess you understand now why Abby cannot be spokesperson for Beauty of Nature.
Victoria: Yes, I understand. So, uh, we'll just scrap all this and we will come up with another idea.
Victor: I'm very sorry, but I think you'll come up with something maybe equally as exciting.
Victoria: Actually, I met someone who had some interesting ideas on the subject.
Victor: Who is that?
Victoria: Genevieve Atkinson. You know, she just came up to Abby and me out of the blue.
Victor: Did she want a job, or what?
Victoria: I have no idea what she was after.
Genevieve: I will have a sidecar, and he'll have his usual.
Colin: He doesn't remember my usual.
Genevieve: Dry vermouth and light rum.
Cane: Black dog-- how fitting.
Genevieve: Remember to chill the glass. A single cube of ice, a splash of water, two to three minutes in the freezer. Oh, Dear. It doesn't look as though anyone is as interested in pleasing you as they once were.
Colin: (Scoffs) Now if you wanted to please me, all you gotta do is jump on your broom and leave town. I mean, why are you hanging about here? I mean, it's gotta be a load to carry. You know, the bitter ex-wife and all.
Genevieve: We'd have to be divorced for me to be your ex. We're still married, Darling.
Colin: A situation I intend to take care of real soon.
Genevieve: Promises, promises. And you're wrong, by the way. I am fitting in very nicely here. I am making friends. I'm settling in at the house. My orchids-- they're flourishing here. They're beautiful. And I've hired help.
Colin: Yeah, well, don't get too comfortable. I stopped payin' the rent some time ago.
Genevieve: Mm. Probably right around the time I bought the house.
Cane: Please tell me you are not serious.
Genevieve: Would you like to move back in? Plenty of room.
Cane: No.
Genevieve: Oh, well, should you change your mind, let me know.
Cane: What's it gonna take for, um, both you people just to get on a plane and go home and leave me alone?
Genevieve: I am very happy here.
Colin: I'm not goin' anywhere. I mean, and you know why--Jill.
Cane: See, I don't really think you have much of a chance with Jill.
Colin: I don't know about that. You see... (Sighs) (Chuckles) I never knew a woman I couldn't get if I really put my mind to it.
Jill: I think Chance volunteered for this mission.
Nina: It wouldn't surprise me one bit. Thank you.
Jill: I have tried and tried to explain to him how it is for us, what we go through. Wouldn't you think he'd realize that he's all we have?
Esther: W-wait. Wh-what about Phillip and Billy?
Jill: Well, yeah. I have a son who fled to Australia, and I have another son who refuses to even acknowledge my existence.
Nina: You know, I heard about Billy’s accident. You must have been terrified.
Jill: Of course I was terrified. It's very different from you and Chance, okay? Billy resents me. Everything I do, everything I say is wrong with him.
Esther: He--he's just lashing out at everyone right now.
Nina: You should try and reach out to Billy.
Jill: I do try.
Nina: Well, try again. You know, the one comfort that I have is that Chance knows exactly what he means to me. There is nothing left unsaid. You can change things between you and Billy.
Jill: (Sighs)
Lily: I mean, when I say that I'm "Over" Cane, it doesn't mean that there isn't a part of me that will always love him.
Daniel: Okay.
Lily: But you can't build a future on that, you know? If--if you can't trust somebody to be honest with you... I just--I have to stop putting it off and just file for divorce.
Daniel: Wow. Are you sure you're ready for that? I mean, last time we talked about it...
Lily: No, I-I am. I'm ready. I'm--I'm-- I'm gonna end the marriage. My, my. What have we here?
Chloe: I'm sorry. You didn't deserve what I said.
Kevin: I wasn't trying to make you feel bad.
Chloe: I know. I know. Truce?
Kevin: Yeah.
Chloe: You're still mad. (Sighs)
Kevin: (Sighs) I'm not mad.
Chloe: Okay, well, something is just still off. I mean, even though we're not fighting, I just feel like...
Kevin: We're out of sync.
Chloe: We're just so far apart. (Sighs)
Kevin: We've had a lot to deal with. Ever since we got together, it's been one thing after another after another.
Chloe: I know, and I'm so happy that I've had you to lean on. But... we used to have a lot of fun. (Sighs)
Kevin: Yeah.
Chloe: Yeah, we were really good at that.
Kevin: We'll get it back. We will.
Colin: Enjoy the orchids.
Genevieve: Thank you. I will. And you-- good luck with your groveling. Such an attractive quality in a man. I'm sure Jill will find it irresistible. Son? I do wish you'd reconsider and move back in with me.
Cane: (Clears throat) Not gonna happen.
Genevieve: The offer still stands.
Colin: Hey, hold on. H-he gets an offer to drop by? What about an offer for me to drop by?
Genevieve: I don't think my other overnight guest would appreciate that.
Colin: (Laughs)
Victoria: Well, Dad, I, um, I can't really... can't really get over this news about Abby.
Victor: I know. And the fact that Diane Jenkins had gotten a hold of that videotaped confession, of all people. Anyway, uh, you mentioned that Atkinson woman. Um, they're in the newspapers a lot lately. I don't want them associated with Beauty of Nature.
Victoria: No, no, completely agreed. And like I said, I don't think that she was looking for a job.
Victor: Oh.
Victoria: I think she was just being very sociable.
Victor: Oh, okay.
Victoria: Yeah, I mean, you'd think that it would be awkward to walk up to people that you've never met before and start tossing out ideas about how to run the company, but it wasn't awkward at all. Anyway... (Sighs) I think that I'd better start brainstorming if I'm gonna come up with a new campaign idea.
Victor: Yeah. Don't worry about it. Why don't you come with me to the gym?
Victoria: Oh, Dad, gosh, you know, I really need to, but Reed's gonna be home from school pretty soon. We're gonna do one of those video chat things.
Victor: Tell him that his grandfather loves him.
Victoria: I will. Mwah!
Victor: Okay? I'll show myself out.
Victoria: Okay. All right.
Victor: Give him my love.
Victoria: Okay. (Door opens) (Door closes)
Victoria: (Sighs) God, Billy, would you get over yourself and call me already? (Sighs)
Nina: I'm looking for Paul Williams. Know where I can find him?
Kevin: So you want to get out of here, do something fun?
Chloe: Yeah, I do.
Kevin: Hey, Esther. Soy mocha latte?
Esther: (Chuckles) You're the best. Thanks, Kevin.
Kevin: Sure.
Esther: (Quietly) Honey, can you come over here for a minute?
Chloe: Oh, okay. Is something going on?
Esther: (Normal voice) Well, uh, Nina made some calls, and she hasn't heard from Chance in a while.
Chloe: Is he okay?
Esther: He's on a classified mission. We don't know where or for how long, and he cannot contact any of us until he comes back.
Chloe: (Sighs heavily) If it wasn't dangerous enough for him to go to the Middle East and fight... I mean, what, does he just always have to up the ante? Is he just, like, an adrenaline junkie or something?
Esther: Listen, I-I think he sees it as his duty.
Chloe: (Scoffs) Yeah, well, great. Just--that's just great, you know? I mean, I-I can't even keep someone in my life from one day to the next, so... (Chuckles) Its fine. And--I'm sorry. You know, I'm sorry.
Esther: We're all worried.
Chloe: I-I just... poor Nina.
Esther: Yeah, it is really tough on her.
Chloe: I mean, first she loses Chance, and then Ronan. I mean, how much is one woman supposed to take?
Nina: (Sighs) You're back.
Ronan: I'm here working the Diane Jenkins murder.
Nina: I thought you were deep undercover or-- or something. You just disappeared after the surgery. I didn't even know if you had survived it.
Ronan: Well, as you can see, I, um, made a full recovery.
Nina: And fully capable, apparently, of picking up a phone. What happened? Where were you?
Ronan: I can't really get into that.
Nina: No, uh... (Chuckles) No. You don't take part of your brother's liver, let him risk his life to save yours and then pretend like it didn't happen. We are absolutely going to have a conversation about this.
Ronan: Well, it's, um, it's gonna be a one-sided conversation.
Nina: I've been defending you to everybody, telling them that-- that there's gotta be a good reason. I deserve to know what it is. Good Lord, you are the most inhuman, unfeeling person I have ever known.
Ronan: Hey, hey, keep your voice down, please. Will you--
Nina: No, I'm not gonna keep my voice down. You piss me off, you're gonna hear about it!
Ronan: Listen, I'm not trying to--
(Footsteps approach)
Paul: Nina, I didn't realize you were back in town. What's going on?
Nina: No, but you realized he was back in town, didn't you?
Paul: Well, why do you think I've been trying to get a hold of you?
Nina: All of those messages, you couldn't once tell me that my son was back in town? No, I'm sorry. I'm sure it pains you to hear me call you my son. But don't worry. I have never thought of you as more of a stranger than I do right now.
Daniel: So, um, did you talk to a lawyer yet, then?
Lily: No.
Daniel: I guess that would be number one on the to-do list.
Lily: Uh, I think number one is letting Cane know.
Daniel: I would let the lawyer talk to him.
Lily: Okay, that's-- that's kind of cold, don't you think?
Daniel: Mnh-mnh, no, I don’t. Normal etiquette doesn't really apply here, you see, the guy tried to convince you that you were crazy. I mean, that's, like, the definition of "Mental cruelty."
Lily: Right. I know. I mean, there's just so much about that situation that I have no control over. I can't change Cane, you know? I-I can't make him be this man that I need him to be. But I don't want what happened to change me, either, you know? I don't-- I don't want to become bitter or vindictive.
Daniel: Yeah, like his mom?
Lily: Yes, exactly.
Daniel: Mm.
Lily: I have to think about my kids, too. You know, they came from this marriage, and it's, like, yeah, it's dying, but I want to mourn that in a way that shows respect, too. And you don't do that by just delegating it to some lawyer.
Daniel: Can I maybe go with you when you talk to him?
Lily: That's nice of you, but I think I should go alone.
Daniel: (Sighs) I thought you might say that.
Lily: (Chuckles) You know me. But, um, will you meet me back here when I'm done?
Daniel: You're gonna do this right now?
Lily: Yeah, I told you, I'm ready.
Daniel: Good luck. (Chuckles)
Lily: Okay, and thank you for understanding.
Daniel: Mm-hmm.
Lily: See you.
Daniel: Bye. Hey. Be strong.
Lily: I will. (Sighs)
(Doorbell rings)
Genevieve: Hi. Uh, please forgive the intrusion. I was nearby, and, well, actually, you've been on my mind a lot lately, since I heard about your stepmother. Uh, your former stepmother, and I just wanted to say that I am sorry.
Victoria: Oh, um, thank you. Uh, come in.
Genevieve: Thank you.
Victoria: Mm-hmm.
Genevieve: Oh, what a lovely home.
Victoria: Thank you. Thank you so much. Would you like to have a seat?
Genevieve: Yes, thank you.
Victoria: All right. Um, you know, uh, Diane and I weren't really that close, but it's awful because of her son, my--my nephew.
Genevieve: I hope that you've been able to shield him from the details. It's so violent.
Victoria: (Sighs) Yeah, I know. It's terrible. You crossed my mind today, as well, though. My father was here, and we were discussing Beauty of Nature, and it came up-- your interesting ideas.
Genevieve: And you shared those with him?
Victoria: Yeah, I did. Uh, you just missed him. He had a date with a punching bag.
Genevieve: (Laughs)
Victoria: (Laughs) Yeah.
Genevieve: Well, it is a very small town, isn't it? I'm sure that we'll bump into each other at some point.
Esther: Honey, you're just sleep-deprived. I can stay up with Delia tonight if she's still upset.
Chloe: No, I-it's not just Delia or a lack of sleep. Uh, something's just weird with Kevin and me.
Esther: You're fighting.
Chloe: It's-- it's hard to explain. I just... I have a feeling. (Sighs)
Kevin: Well, Lily's bound to have her good days and bad days. That's what happens when you get your heart stomped on.
Daniel: She's a lot tougher than she looks.
Kevin: What about Lucy? How is she doing?
Daniel: Don't know. I haven't seen her lately.
Kevin: You're still not talking to your mom? You didn't check in after the murder?
Daniel: Yeah, I did. She thinks Adam did it.
Kevin: I'm guessing that's a pretty popular vote. Look, if you're that worried about her, just give her a call.
Daniel: I can’t. She's busy right now.
Colin: Well, it's been wonderful visiting with you. Look... (Sniffs) It’s pointless trying to shut me out. At some stage, you're going to want to talk to someone.
Cane: But you're the last person I'd want to confide in, so there you go.
Colin: I'll bet money your mother rates even lower than I do.
Cane: What is it gonna take for the two of you to realize you can just go and leave me the hell alone?
Colin: I'll respect that wish, Son.
Cane: (Sighs)
Colin: But let me tell you-- loneliness gets old... real quick.
Cane: Hey.
Lily: I just thought that I would tell you in person that I'm gonna be filing for divorce.
Jill: Um, I-I won't keep you. I was just looking for Billy.
Victoria: Yeah, I know. Uh, join the club.
Jill: Oh, my God. I expect him to avoid my calls, but if he's not responding to yours, that's not a good sign.
Victoria: (Sighs) Yeah, um, do you want to sit down? (Sighs) Was there any special reason that you wanted to talk to Billy?
Jill: I had some bad news earlier today, and I... it just got me to thinking about Billy and everything he's had to deal with, and how alone he is, and... of course, he'd just say it's too little too late coming from me.
Victoria: Yeah, but if he does say that, don't listen to him, because I think he really needs a lifeline right now.
Jill: I would so love to be that for him. Actually, I may need it more than he does.
Victoria: If you find him, will you tell him to call me?
Genevieve: My, my, my.
Victor: (Exhales sharply)
Genevieve: I'm not sure who that is that you're picturing on that poor bag, but I'm certainly glad it's not me.
Victor: (Breathing heavily)
Paul: Look, why don't we get out of here?
Ronan: No, I'm headed out. You, uh, you guys stay.
Nina: Oh, yeah, Man. Just leave. That's what you do best.
Nina: (Scoffs) (Sighs)
Paul: You know, I was gonna tell you. I just didn't want to leave it in a message.
Nina: No, of course. I'm sorry. It wasn't your fault. I just--he's unbelievable. Uh, you know, he told me that his adoptive parents were wonderful people. I just--I can't believe it. They raised a jerk.
Paul: Yeah, he and I are supposed to be working together.
Nina: (Sighs)
Paul: It's taken everything I've got not to flatten him.
Nina: Does Heather know he's back?
Paul: No, and-- and she hasn't asked about him, but, um, I think she's holding out hope.
Nina: Yeah, well, so was I, that he would have some good explanation to justify our faith in him, but he's just... (Scoffs) Unbelievable. I-I can't even talk to Chance about it. He's off on some super secret mission. (Scoffs) How messed up is this? I-I-I have one son who I may never see again, and another son who never wants to see me again. (Voice breaks)
Nina: (Sighs)
Victor: You look familiar.
Genevieve: Uh, you may have seen articles in the newspaper about my ex. Well, they were pushed aside by articles about your ex.
Victor: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So you're Genevieve Atkinson.
Genevieve: Yes. Sorry for your loss.
Victor: Yeah, thank you. My daughter told me about you.
Genevieve: Really?
Victor: Yeah.
Genevieve: Was it Abby or Victoria?
Victor: Victoria.
Genevieve: Oh.
Victor: She was very impressed with you.
Genevieve: (Laughs) Well, and vice versa-- very sharp young woman.
Victor: Oh, yeah. (Chuckles)
Genevieve: Mm. (Chuckles) Aw. Uh, may I ask a question?
Victor: Sure.
Genevieve: I've always wanted to try this.
Victor: Oh, you have?
Genevieve: Yes.
Victor: Mm-hmm.
Genevieve: But I was afraid that I would do it wrong and just kind of look like a fool. (Laughs)
Victor: Well, would you like me to teach you a little, or what?
Genevieve: That'd be great.
Victor: Why don't we try?
Genevieve: Thank you.
Victor: Find a pair of gloves over here.
Genevieve: Oh, all right.
Victor: There. Uh, how about the red ones?
Genevieve: Sounds good to me. I like red.
Victor: Okay, let me help you on. There we go.
Genevieve: Okay.
Victor: You just push down. Push down. Push down. I pull up.
Genevieve: Okay.
Victor: There we go. And now this one here. Same thing.
Genevieve: Mm-hmm.
Victor: Push down. Push into them. Good.
Genevieve: Okay.
Victor: So step over here.
Genevieve: All right.
Victor: You sure you want to learn this?
Genevieve: I'm sure.
Victor: (Chuckles) So the first thing is you just stand like this, okay?
Genevieve: Stand like this?
Victor: Left foot forward. Exactly.
Genevieve: Yeah?
Victor: And then the first thing is the jab. But when you--when you do-- when you hit it, turn your fist like this. Whop. Like that, okay? So jab. Good. And again. Good. Keep looking at your target.
Genevieve: Oh, yeah. Okay.
Victor: That's it. I'll hold the bag for you. Go ahead. Go ahead. Good.
Genevieve: Oops, no turn. There we go.
Victor: Good. Good. Good.
Genevieve: I think I got it.
Victor: Okay, now-- now--you think you've got it?
Genevieve: Yeah, that part, anyway.
Victor: And now use your right cross--bop! Like that. But again, turn your fist like that. Don't--not like this.
Genevieve: I'll turn my fist like that.
Victor: Exactly. Now keep this hand up as you do it.
Genevieve: Up. Okay.
Victor: Keep them here close to your chin.
Genevieve: Okay. (Laughs)
Victor: Exactly. So left jab. Good. Right cross. Left jab. Right cross. Okay. Now go for it.
Victor: That's pretty damn good.
Genevieve: (Exhales) Is it?
Victor: Who were you trying to imagine now as you were hitting the bag? Who?
Genevieve: I will never tell.
Victor: You will never tell?
Genevieve: Mnh-mnh.
Victor: Well, that's unfair, because I just gave you this lesson, so you have to tell me who you had in mind.
Genevieve: Hmm.
Colin: Jill? You all right?
Jill: (Sighs)
Cane: Uh, I wish you would, um, you know, reconsider filing for divorce.
Lily: Please don't give me a hard time about this.
Cane: I'm not going to if it's what you want.
Lily: It is what I want.
Cane: What about the kids?
Lily: I'm going to be filing for full custody.
Cane: Okay. Um, is there a way I can spend time with them? I mean, supervised, whatever you want to... supervised. You set it up. It's up to you.
Lily: Cane, I don’t... (Sighs) I don't know, okay? I--
Cane: No, Lily, listen. I-I don't expect you to forgive me, okay? But please don't punish Charlie and Matty for my mistakes. They need a father in their life, a father who loves them, and I love those babies, okay? Just think about that. Don't do it for me. Do it for their sake.
Daniel: Hey. Did you see him?
Lily: Um, yeah.
Daniel: How'd it go?
Lily: It went pretty well. I mean, he-- you know, he's not happy. But he's not gonna fight the divorce, either, so...
Daniel: So that's a relief.
Lily: Yeah. Yeah, but, um, he did ask for visitation.
Daniel: I hope you laughed in his face.
Lily: No, I-I just told him I couldn't give him an answer right now. I mean, come on. He's their father.
Daniel: He's a rotten father. I know it's, you know, it's up to you. It's gonna be your decision, your choice, but I don't think he should have any access to the kids, you know? He's just gonna use it to manipulate you.
Lily: No, no, no. I-it's not gonna happen. I mean, no matter what, he and I are through.
Cane: (Sighs)
Nina: (Stammers) Sorry. I should let you get back to work.
Paul: It's all right. I got time for you.
Nina: No, it's all right. You've got a murder case to solve. I got through Chance's last three deployments. I can get through this one.
Paul: I know you will. It would just be a lot easier if you had the support of your other son.
Nina: Don't even call Ronan that. He's made it clear he doesn't want to be part of my family. Honestly, right now, I feel the same way.
Esther: Kevin made this really good.
Chloe: Oh, Mom, stop it, please. I got it.
Esther: Thanks, Honey. Listen, try not to worry about Kevin. You know that he loves you. Not every second can be all hearts and flowers, okay?
Chloe: (Chuckles) Okay.
Esther: Okay. I'll see you at home, okay?
Chloe: All right.
Esther: Okay. Mwah.
Chloe: Mwah. Love you.
Esther: Love you, too.
Chloe: (Whispers) Hearts and flowers.
Ronan: Hey. Hi.
Chloe: (Normal voice) What are you doing here?
Ronan: Well--
Chloe: (Sighs)
Kevin: Get out. You're not welcome here.
Ronan: Okay, I'll-- I'll get my coffee to go.
Kevin: No, I don't want your business. After the way you treated her, you have no right coming anywhere near her.
Chloe: (Sighs) How is he back? And why?
Colin: (Sighs) Well, is there... no way we can find out about Chance?
Jill: No, there's nothing any of us can do but pray. Oh, my God, Colin. I can't lose him, too. (Sobs)
Colin: (Sighs)
Jill: (Sobs)
Genevieve: Aha.
Victoria: So Genevieve tracked you down at the gym.
Victor: Well, it could have been a coincidence.
Victoria: Mm, no. I mentioned to her that you were there.
Victor: What does she want?
(Cell phone rings) (Ring)
Victoria: It's Billy. (Sighs) Hi.
Woman: Hello, I'm calling from Hong Kong Airlines.
Victoria: Yeah, uh, is my husband with you? You're--you're using his phone.
Woman: Oh, yeah, it was left behind on the plane. Your number was listed as the emergency contact.
Victoria: He f-- he flew to Hong Kong? (Whispers) He left me.
Next on "The Young and the Restless"...
Adam: I need you to back me up about the other night. You willing to do that?
Sharon: Look, Adam is very sharp. A few too many accidental run-ins, and he will begin to suspect something.
Tucker: I miss you.
Ashley: Did you miss me when you slept with Diane?
