Episode # 9666 ~ Phyllis Teams With Daisy to Get Custody of Lucy

Ashley: Jack, how's Tucker?

Jack: He's stabilized. He's still in the coma, but he's not getting any worse.

Ashley: Do you know what happened to him?

Jack: Look, they're not telling me a lot, but apparently, they have ruled out foul play.

Ashley: It kills me knowing they think I would actually try to hurt him. I love him.

Jack: I know you do.

Ashley: And Katherine could have helped me. She could have defended me. Talk about finding out who your friends really are.

Jack: I don't understand why Tucker ever left Katherine in charge.

Ashley: He never expected her to treat me like this. Are you kidding? Taking out a restraining order? Getting somebody to revoke my bail?

Jack: That's not all she's done, Ash.

Ashley: What are you talking about?

Jack: She offered Victoria your job at Jabot.

Abby: What was Mom thinking trying to take the blame for this? Unbelievable. Damn it!

Michael: Oh, I guess you heard?

Abby: Heard what?

Michael: All right, well, your mother's bail has been revoked. She's back in jail.

Abby: This is such a mess. This is such a mess.

Michael: All right, look, I'm heading there now. You can come with me. We'll talk strategy on the way.

Abby: No, I can't. I can't.

Michael: It is a little important, you know.

Abby: What I have to take care of--it's important, too, trust me.

Lauren: Okay, and then I want to do a back-to-school promo-- bring in the younger buyers. Research is showing that their disposable income is-- Jill? Hi, remember me?

Jill: (Laughs)

Lauren: Business. (Chuckles) Would you focus for five minutes?

Jill: I am so sorry. It's just that I am planning this surprise for Colin.

Lauren: Oh, really?

Jill: It's a 3-week honeymoon cruise around Australia.

Lauren: Oh, my goodness.

Jill: He's done so much for me. I want to do something for him.

Lauren: Well, yeah--oh.

Jill: (Gasps)

Lauren: Why don't you tell him now?

Jill: You--you wouldn't mind?

Lauren: No, no, I'll go make some phone calls.

Jill: Oh, thank you. Mwah!

Lauren: I will be, uh, right over here reviewing. Hello.

Jill: Okay.

Colin: Hasty retreat. "Cat that ate the canary" look on your face.

Jill: (Laughs)

Colin: What have you done?

Jill: Well, we've talked about this long enough, okay? I decided it was time to make it happen. I booked a trip for us to Australia.

Genevieve: Ethan, I'm so glad you're here. We have to discuss the point--

Cane: No, I'm done discussing, and I'm done lying to Lily.

Genevieve: You promised me that you would see this through to the end.

Cane: Well, I shouldn't have done that, should I?

Genevieve: You're gonna let your father take your children?

Cane: I don't care about revenge. I care about Lily! She thinks she's losing her mind because of what I've done to her. It's gonna stop. It's gonna stop now, all right?

Genevieve: Where are you going, Ethan?

Cane: I'm gonna go and see my father.

Genevieve: Really?

Cane: Yes, really.

Genevieve: Crazy talk like that could get you a room right next to Lily's.

Rafe: Your honor, in lieu of your decision, my clients Mr. and Mrs. William Abbott would like to file for immediate adoption of baby Lucy. We have the full support of Mr. Romalotti, and all the paperwork right here.

Judge Welchert: Uh, is this true, Mr. Romalotti?

Daniel: Uh, yes, your honor.

Judge Welchert: Uh, I just granted you your parental rights. Now you want to give them up?

Daniel: This is something that I've thought a lot about.

Judge Welchert: (Scoffs) I don't think you could have. No, I am going to need to hear a lot more before I approve this adoption. (Sighs)

Kevin: Can I get you anything else before I leave?

Lauren: No, I'm good. Enjoy your time off. You deserve it.

Kevin: Well, it isn't exactly gonna be a relaxing afternoon. I'm headed to the courthouse where Daniel is filing for his parental rights.

Lauren: Oh, yeah. I guess that would be the next step-- that Billy and Victoria would legally adopt Lucy.

Kevin: Today.

Lauren: Mm-hmm. And let's just hope that Phyllis will drop this stupid campaign to lure Daisy back into town. I mean, I-I just want this whole thing to be over.

Kevin: Hey, I hear you.

Lauren: (Sighs) You know, maybe you could help them ensure this adoption.

Kevin: Hmm. I don't know that anyone involved has any interest in what I have to say, least of all the judge.

Lauren: Well, I really hope you're wrong, because until this whole thing is over, I am not gonna stop worrying that Daisy's gonna show up in town. (Sighs)

(Door slams)

Phyllis: (Gasps)

Daisy: Hey, Grandma. Oh, uh... (Chuckles) I, uh, borrowed these when I was your houseguest last year. Hope you don't mind. I thought you'd be happy to see me. I mean, that was an invitation on your blog, wasn't it?

Phyllis: You can scroll down.

Daisy: Smooth putting a pic of the baby on your blog. Cute kid.

Phyllis: Her name's Lucy.

Daisy: (Scoffs) I can live with that.

Phyllis: Do you want to see a picture of her?

Daisy: Why not?

Phyllis: You can scroll down.

Daisy: She has Daniel's eyes.

Phyllis: Yeah, she does. It's interesting that that would be the first thing you'd say.

Daisy: He is her dad.

Phyllis: The judge made that official today.

Daisy: (Scoffs) I could have done that.

Phyllis: You could have done that. You could have. But you weren't there. When the judge gave Daniel full parental rights... he terminated yours.

Billy: When Victoria had the miscarriage, the doctor told us that we'd probably never have a kid again. And it was bad news, to say the least. And Victoria, she tried to reconcile it, you know? She figured that maybe she was just lucky enough to have Reed. But every day I'd look at her, and there'd be this growing expression of, I don't know, being far away. Being lost.

Judge Welchert: I'm sure that was very difficult for you both.

Billy: I knew that it would eventually be okay someday. But I wanted it to be more than okay for Victoria. She deserves it for so many reasons, but most of all, for how much she has to offer a kid. I mean, any little boy or girl would be so lucky to have her as a mom. And that's when I hooked up with the broker, Primrose. On the outside, everything did seem legit-- official-looking documents, and a story about how the initial adoptive parents, they had to back out-- something about a-a family crisis. That's what she said. She made it seem like we were heroes, you know? Like it was meant to be.

Judge Welchert: You never doubted the legitimacy of the broker's operation?

Billy: (Sighs) I'm not gonna lie to you, Judge. I knew I was cutting corners. But I didn't set out to break the law. I just wanted a baby, and Victoria and I, we love that little girl so much. If you take her away from us... (Sighs) I just want to make this right.

Judge Welchert: What about your family? Do they support the adoption?

Victoria: I can answer that, your honor. Uh, my brother and sister and Billy's brother are Lucy's godparents, and they love her as much as we do. They already consider her a part of the family.

Judge Welchert: What about you, Mr. Romalotti? What about your family? Does anyone object to what you're doing? (Sighs) I'll take that as a yes.

Daniel: My mother.

Kevin: Your honor, may I speak?

Judge Welchert: Who are you?

Billy: (Clears throat)

Kevin: I'm Kevin Fisher, Lucy's uncle. My sister is the-- is the one who abandoned her.

Judge Welchert: You have something to say on this matter?

Kevin: Yeah, I never supported this adoption.

Jack: You don't seem surprised that Katherine left Victoria in charge of Jabot.

Ashley: I guess I've stopped being surprised by what Katherine does, Jack.

Jack: I am not gonna let this happen. You know that.

Ashley: I can't believe he put her in charge. I really can't.

Jack: Katherine doesn't know Jabot like you and I do. Neither does Victoria, especially with this new product line coming out. One of us has to be there to see it through.

Ashley: "One of us," meaning you?

Jack: I wouldn't be pushing this if Katherine hadn't fired you.

Ashley: I know. It's okay. Go for it. I'm in here, Jack, and I've gotta get out, and I've gotta focus my energies on helping Tucker.

Jill: Honey, look, look, look, look. It's for three weeks. It leaves from Sydney. And then we go north along the coast of Queensland. It looks absolutely stunning.

Colin: Uh...

Jill: And we get to scuba dive at the Great Barrier Reef.

Colin: Mm-hmm.

Jill: But... you know the best part?

Colin: No.

Jill: I get to see where you come from. I get to meet your family.

Colin: (Sighs)

Jill: (Chuckles)

Colin: This sounds lovely. Uh...

Jill: But you don't want to go.

Colin: (Stammers) No. (Stammers) It's... it's the timing, you know?

Jill: Well, I didn't even tell you when it's for.

Colin: Well, uh, yeah, look. This all looks great and fantastic, and I definitely want to do it, but, I mean...

Jill: Yeah, but obviously--

Colin: Queensland and-- and the reef--

Jill: No, you're not interested. Lauren. Lauren.

Colin: (Stammers)

Jill: I have-- I have work to do, okay?

Colin: Jill, look, I'm--uh--

Lauren: Okay, you all set?

Jill: I am all set. And I will see you later, Darling, okay?

Colin: Yeah.

Jill: Okay.

Lauren: All right.

Jill: So you said you had some sketches you wanted to show me, huh?

Lauren: Yes, I do right here.

Jill: (Sighs)

Cane: See, it's no good, Mother. I'm not gonna take the bait, 'cause I have too much at stake.

Genevieve: You love Lily. I understand... (Sighs) Feelings of passion-- deep, undying passion.

Cane: I know you do.

Genevieve: Because we're a lot alike, Ethan. That's why we're a good team.

Cane: You found me after Caleb drugged me, and then we made a deal that benefitted the both of us. So please, don't pretend that it's anything else.

Genevieve: Oh, Honey, I'm your mother. I love you.

Cane: Then why is it I haven't seen you since Samantha's funeral, Mom?

Genevieve: I had to get away.

Cane: Oh. Oh, you had to get away. Okay, and--and, uh, what about all the years before that? Did you also have to get away then? 'Cause you may have been around, but you were never around.

Genevieve: Thank you, Dear, for that very charming and highly biased assessment of me.

Cane: 'Cause, you see, I have everything that I want right now in my life. I have a new home. I have a new family. I have a new life. And I have a new mother.

Cane: (Chuckles)

Genevieve: We both needed to get away, Ethan, didn't we? After watching what your father did and getting away scot-free, we both needed to get away. We are a team, Honey, whether you like that or not. I mean, I want revenge, and you want to protect your children, but we both want to take Colin down.

Cane: So we have one goal.

Genevieve: Yes.

Cane: That's it. So don't pretend there's more. Now I'm done talking to you.

Genevieve: If you try to force your father's hand, you'll fail!

Cane: Trust me! Just trust me, Mother. For once... for once in your life, trust me.

Genevieve: Do I have a choice?

Cane: No. 'Cause I'm gonna go and see my father, and he's gonna go ahead with the plan. He's gonna try and kidnap the children, and when he's in the middle of doing this, we will stop him and catch him in the act. And all of this will just go away.

Genevieve: And then you can go back to your new family and the woman you love.

Cane: 'Cause that's all that really matters to me.

Victoria: Billy, this is ridiculous.

Billy: Stay out of this, Fisher.

Rafe: Your honor, Kevin Fisher has no standing in this case.

Billy: No standing whatsoever.

Judge Welchert: Everyone, sit down. You're excused.

Judge Welchert: Mr. Fisher, have a seat.

Kevin: (Clears throat) Um, Lucy is my niece, and she was conceived under some... some messed-up circumstances. It's not her fault. It's not Daniel's fault. He didn't want to be a dad, and that's fine, but with my sister as a mom, she was gonna need someone. And I thought that person should be me. I thought that I could give her the best home. (Sighs) But I was wrong. The best place for Lucy is with Victoria and Billy. They love her very much, and they can give her everything she deserves. In fact, they already have. So I'm asking the court to please stop passing her around like a football. She's a little girl, and she needs to go home with her mom and dad.

Daisy: Just like that, I'm not in the kid's life anymore? How the hell did that happen?

Phyllis: Well, just like that. You abandoned your child in a church, and you were gone for five months.

Daisy: (Sighs) No matter what some stupid judge says, I have a right to be in Lucy's life.

Phyllis: Well, you're going to have to fight Billy, Victoria, my son, and the entire state of Wisconsin.

Daisy: Sounds like I need some help.

Phyllis: Yeah, it does, doesn't it?

Daisy: Now why would you try and help someone who you think was involved in trying to murder your best friend?

Phyllis: Your aunt manipulated you, right?

Daisy: Like you're doing now. So... what if I accept your help? What do I have to do in return?

Phyllis: Turn yourself in.

Daisy: (Laughs)

Jill: I think these'll work out great, as long as we stick to the budget.

Lauren: All right, all right, I can't wait anymore. Come on. Tell me. How did Colin like his surprise?

Jill: I don't want to talk about it.

Lauren: Come on. He didn't think it was the most romantic thing ever?

Jill: Uh, actually, he hated the idea.

Lauren: O-o-of the honeymoon?

Jill: All he's done is talk about how much he wanted to take a trip to Australia, and then I plan the whole thing, and suddenly, it's not so appealing.

Lauren: All right, well, you--you know, maybe... maybe he doesn't like cruises, or it's the bad time of year, or... (Gasps) You know what? I bet you he's just old-fashioned and doesn't want you paying. I'm sure that's it.

Jill: Yeah, I wish it was something as innocent as that. (Sighs) I just got the feeling that he didn't want to go with me.

Colin: Of course we're still going to Australia. But the timing-- it's gotta be right.

Cane: Well, how much more right can it be, Dad? Lily's in the nuthouse, so let's just grab these brats, and let's go.

Colin: Your impulsiveness-- it's cost me dearly in the past. Now I'm not gonna be quite so forgiving in the future.

Cane: All right, all right. So if you don't want that to happen again, tell me what's going on. Wh-what's going on? What do I do?

Colin: I'm waiting for a phone call. If I get the right answer, we'll be out of here with the twins tomorrow.

Michael: I have a forensics expert going over the car accident scene and the car itself. He should have a preliminary report soon, so I thought maybe we would go over what happened that night again.

Ashley: Oh, my God. We've been over this a dozen times, Michael.

Michael: And we're gonna go over it again, because the tiniest little detail could have a huge impact on how this all turns out. So again, Abby was driving when you left Gloworm.

Ashley: I told you and the police, yes, she was driving.

Michael: When did you switch places?

Ashley: The second I realized that she was drunk.

Michael: Are you sure she was passed out when you hit Tucker? Because as you told Detective Mauro, you and her were arguing at the time, a-according to what you told Detective Mauro.

Ashley: I explained that. I was confused. We were arguing, and then she passed out.

Michael: Maybe she woke up before you hit Tucker? Distracted you? Grabbed the wheel? Maybe Abby was responsible for the accident?

Ashley: Listen! It was not Abby! (Hits table) Do you u--

(Footsteps approach)

Abby: Mom.

Ashley: What the hell are you doing here?

Abby: I need to talk to you--alone.

Michael: Fine. You two talk. Maybe you'll remember something about that night that we've missed. Maybe you'll remember something that will get you out of this mess.

(Knock on door)

Abby: I do remember something. I was driving. I'm the one who hit Tucker.

Ashley: Abby, you're wrong, Honey.

Abby: No. No, I remember what happened, Mom.

Ashley: You can't remember anything. You were drunk.

Abby: No, I-I remember what happened, okay? And I am so sorry. I didn't mean to. I didn't mean for Tucker to ever get hurt.

Ashley: You need to listen to me. You were not driving that night. Do you hear what I'm saying? I was. I was driving the car. I hit tucker.

Abby: Stop. Stop lying.

Ashley: Why would I lie about something like this?

Abby: (Scoffs) Why? Because you're you, a-and no matter how mad you are at me, you're gonna try to protect me just like you did for Grandpa. This is you. This is what you do.

Ashley: Stop it. I'm hardly a saint.

Abby: No, you want to know what you are? You are everything that I pretend to be, okay? "The Naked Heiress," concerned about the world-- it's such a joke, okay? All I have ever cared about is me, promoting me, but you--you think about other people all the time, and I have wanted to be like you ever since I was a little girl, but I'm not, Mom. Mom, I'm not.

Ashley: Honey. Honey. Stop it. Come here. You are a good woman. You're a good woman, Abby.

Abby: Okay? No. How can you say this? How can you say this? Listen to me. I almost killed the man you love.

Ashley: Abby, stop it!

Abby: No! I am not going to let you lie for me anymore.

Cane: When's this phone call comin', Dad?

Colin: You have someplace to be?

Cane: No, I-I just don't think it's smart we're seen together, you know? Like, don't tell me you're losing your edge, dad.

Colin: Your brother and I, we had our differences, but he never questioned my ability to run things. Now it's a pity you couldn't be a little more like him.

Cane: Oh, you mean, uh, good old cane, right? Or is that good ol' dead cane?

Colin: Shut up! You'll never be one...

(Cell phone rings)

Cane: Sorry.

Colin: Yeah? Yeah. What time?

Colin: Okay. Yeah, we'll be there. We're on for tomorrow.

Cane: Okay, all right, so you're gonna, you know, meet Jill, get the kids, and then, you know, what do you want me to do?

Colin: It's a private airstrip, very secure, hasn't been used in years.

Cane: Okay, all right, but, you know, just-- can I get a little more information than that?

Colin: You'll get more... when you need it.

Daisy: I go back to jail and give you my kid? Yeah, that's a deal I'm gonna take.

Phyllis: There are other options.

Daisy: Such as?

Phyllis: Such as... I hire you the best criminal defense attorney. She paints a picture of a poor, lost, innocent girl who was pushed into a life of crime. The jury drowns in their own tears, and you get a light sentence.

Daisy: I get no sentence.

Phyllis: I get Lucy.

Daisy: Okay, so I do as you say. I throw myself at the mercy of some moron jury, and they buy all the crap you're selling. I am not walking away from my kid.

Phyllis: You already walked away from your kid.

Daisy: No, I want Lucy to know me, the real me-- not that freak that you made me out to be. And that's why I get to see her whenever I want.

Phyllis: Whenever I want.

Daisy: No. Let's not forget who's the mommy and who's the grandmommy.

Phyllis: Do we have a deal or not?

Daisy: You tell me.

Phyllis: First, I have to get your parental rights restored.

Daniel: (Sighs) Hey. (Clears throat)

Kevin: So any idea how long before the judge makes her decision?

Daniel: Uh, Rafe's not sure. Um, look, Man, uh, about what you said up there, I know how much you care about Lucy. I know that you've always cared about her. And, you know, before, stuff was just gettin' in the way.

Kevin: Yeah, I know.

Daniel: It was gettin' in the way of me and you, too, and that really sucked for me.

Kevin: Me, too.

Daniel: So are we cool?

Kevin: (Chuckles) Yeah, we're cool.

Billy: (Clears throat)

Michael: Any word?

Jack: Not yet. You'd have been very proud of your brother, though. He really came through for Victoria and Billy.

Kevin: I just told the truth.

Billy: I mean, you really just-- thank you.

Victoria: (Sighs) Thank you.

Billy: I appreciate it.

Kevin: Just continue to take good care of her.

Victoria: Oh, we will.

Kevin: (Sighs) I'm gonna grab a soda.

Michael: Oh, I'll buy it for you.

Kevin: Thanks.

Michael: (Chuckles)

Jack: So pretty exciting week-- getting your baby back, new job.

Victoria: Oh, you heard about Katherine's offer.

Jack: Yeah, C.E.O. of Jabot.

Victoria: Yeah.

Jack: Pretty big deal.

Victoria: It's pretty surprising, too.

(Cell phone rings)

Victoria: Oh. It's J.T. Hey. Uh, yeah, are we still on for today? Is Reed's flight number still the same? Okay.

Billy: It's okay, Jack. Vicki decided she's gonna concentrate on being a mom for right now.

Jack: She turned down Katherine's offer?

Billy: Ooh, ooh, careful, Jackie. You're startin' to drool.

Judge Welchert: Please be seated. I've reached my decision.

Victoria: (Sighs) Billy.

Billy: I know.

Judge Welchert: After hearing the testimony and reviewing the documents, I believe it's in the best interest of the child to allow this adoption to move forward.

Victoria: (Sighs) Yes.

Daniel: Okay.

Daniel: You're up.

Billy: (Clears throat)

Daniel: (Chuckles)

Billy: Okay, Mom.

Victoria: Okay, "Mom." Wow, all right. I guess that makes it official then.

Daniel: No, no, not yet. Come here. (Groans) Now it is official.

Billy: Come here. Mwah. Oh, Man, I don't know how to thank you.

Victoria: (Sighs) I do. Uh, Daniel and Kevin, thank you so much for doing what I hope I always do, which is putting Lucy first. Thank you. And, Rafe, gosh, um, "Thanks" doesn't seem enough, you know?

Billy: That's why he's billing us.

Rafe: (Chuckles)

Victoria: (Chuckles)

Billy: Right?

Victoria: And you. You never follow a straight path, do you? But somehow, you always manage to get us exactly where we're supposed to be. Thank you. Thank you for putting Lucy in my life. And thank you for, um, giving me the happy ending that you promised. Thank you so much.

Billy: (Laughs) Yeah.

Victoria: (Laughs)

Billy: Look how big you are. You're growin' on me.

Victoria: You are. She is.

Billy: You're gettin' so big.

Jack: Congratulations.

Victoria: You're beautiful.

Billy: Thank you, Sir.

Victoria: Thank you.

Billy: Hey, Lucy. "Say hi. Hi, Uncle Jack."

Jack: Hi.

Billy: Hi, Uncle Jack.

Victoria: (Chuckles)

Lauren: Hey, Baby.

Michael: Ooh, I just got your text.

Lauren: Yeah, yeah. Why'd you want me to come over here?

Michael: I wanted you to come over here because I wanted to give you the news myself. It's over.

Lauren: Billy and Victoria were allowed to... adopt Lucy?

Michael: As of two minutes ago, she is legally their daughter.

Lauren: (Sighs) So you're telling me that there is no reason, no reason at all for Phyllis to try and lure Daisy back to town?

Michael: Oh, Sweetie, no. No. Mm!

Lauren: (Sighs)

Leslie: Okay, will do.

Daisy: Everything cool?

Leslie: Well, I told the district attorney you were back in town. He wanted to send two uniforms over to pick you up. I convinced him to let you turn yourself in.

Daisy: You're right. She's good.

Phyllis: At the courthouse like we said, right?

Leslie: Walsh didn't like being dictated to.

Phyllis: Yeah.

Leslie: But he wants this conviction, bad.

Daisy: What? You said--

Phyllis: One step at a time, please. One step at a time.

Leslie: I'll do my best to help you, Miss Carter, but I will need your cooperation.

Phyllis: Yeah, and if you don't give her your cooperation, I will hand you over to Walsh myself on a silver platter.

Daisy: Then how you gonna get your hands on my kid?

Phyllis: You know what, Daisy? Please, don't mess with me.

Daisy: Get over yourself. You need me just as much as I need you. Now take me to see my daughter.

Abby: I'm sorry, Mom, but you can't stop me.

Ashley: Abby, Abby, listen, okay? Just calm down. Saying that you're the one that hit Tucker is just gonna get us both in more trouble.

Abby: How could telling the truth be wrong?

Ashley: It's not the truth, Abby! It's not the truth. And eventually, somebody's gonna believe the stupid story you're telling, and you're gonna be charged with attempted murder.

Abby: Wait, wait, like-- like you are right now?

Ashley: Michael's gonna get me out of it.

Abby: What if he doesn't, Mom?

Ashley: Abby, listen to me, okay? I need you to not tell anybody that you were the one that was driving that night, okay? Promise me.

Abby: I can't. I can't.

Colin: Thank you for seeing me.

Jill: I really can't stay very long. I promised Katherine that I would stop by the hospital.

Colin: I'm sorry. Look, you--you--you give me this a-a-amazing gift, and I totally behave like a donkey's patoot about the whole thing because, well, you k-kind of caught me off guard.

Jill: We talked about Australia, you know.

Colin: I know. I know.

Jill: You were the one who had that idea.

Colin: I know. I-I know. You're right. I-it's complicated.

Jill: Well, the trouble is, it doesn't seem very complicated. It seems like you want to go, but not with me.

Colin: Look, my hesitation has nothing to do with taking you.

Jill: Then what does it have to do with?

Colin: (Sighs) You remember I mentioned a while back, uh, an unresolved issue around taxes?

Jill: Yeah, and you said you'd paid your debt for that.

Colin: Yeah, well, there are certain members of the family that don't seem to feel that I've paid enough for my transgressions.

Jill: They're still holding a grudge after all these years?

Colin: (Sighs) Trust me. When business and family collide, the grudges can go on into the next millennium.

Cane: So it is happening tomorrow. Father's taking Matty and Charlie back to Australia.

Genevieve: Did he tell you that?

Cane: Yes. But he didn't tell me where or where they're leaving from. It's a private airstrip, so if we don't get the details, he's gonna be gone with my kids.

Genevieve: Then it's a good thing I have the details, isn't it?

Cane: And how'd you do that?

Genevieve: I cloned your dad's cell phone. That's how I keep tabs on your dear ol' dad. And I heard the whole conversation with the pilot.

Cane: Wow.

Genevieve: Mm.

Cane: Well, that's a very complicated thing to do. It's also very illegal. Where did you learn to do that, Mom?

Genevieve: (Chuckles) Ha! Where I learned to do everything that I know about breaking the law-- from your dad.

Cane: And now you're gonna use what you learned against him, huh? So... what do you know?

Genevieve: Well, actually, it's just as I suspected. He's going to be leaving from the airstrip on this estate. (Laughs) I've been watching your dad for a very long time now, and he has been flying in and out of this location ever since he found out that you were in Genoa City.

Cane: So that's why you moved into this house?

Genevieve: I've been waiting for this for a very long time.

Colin: Do you forgive me?

Jill: (Laughs) God, I can't stay mad at you. Do you still want to go to Australia?

Colin: There is nothing I want to do more than take my wife home with me.

Cane: I knew you felt strongly about this, but I didn't, um, I didn't realize the lengths you would go to to make this happen-- hiding from him like this and all the while, watching his every move.

Genevieve: Mm. I could tell you when he had his last cup of tea. (Sighs) You know the way you look forward to be--being reunited with Lily?

Cane: Mm-hmm.

Genevieve: That's the way I look forward to being face-to-face with your father.

Cane: But you don't love him the way I love Lily.

Genevieve: I don't.

Ashley: Hi, I-I need to call my attorney right away.

Woman: I'll put in a request.

Ashley: No, it's urgent. I need to do it right now. Uh, my daughter's about to get herself into trouble.

Woman: Being an Abbott may mean something on the outside. In here, you're just another prisoner.

Ashley: Oh, come on.

Abby: I appreciate your meeting with me.

Spencer: You said this was about your mother's accident.

Abby: I was the one driving. I hit Tucker, not my mom.

Michael: Done and done. (Chuckles) All right, bye.

Lauren: I am just so glad that Kevin stepped up.

Kevin: Every now and then, he does the right thing.

Lauren: Yeah, and Billy and Victoria must be so grateful. You know what we should do? We should celebrate.

Michael: Absolutely.

Lauren: Right?

Michael: Yeah.

Lauren: Let's throw a party. Let's take over Gloworm. We'll invite everybody.

Michael: (Chuckles) Except Phyllis.

Lauren: Well, that's a given, right?

Michael: (Sighs)

Lauren: I don't want to hear her name again, thank you very much. (Sighs)

Michael: No. There's one other person's name you won't ever have to hear again. You won't ever have to see her, either.

Lauren: I know. Daisy's finally out of my life.

Michael: Yeah. Hey, let's go congratulate the new mommy and daddy.

Lauren: (Chuckles)

Michael: Come on.

Lauren: Okay.

Daniel: Okay, well, I am going to take off, so, uh, you guys have a good life.

Victoria: Thank you.

Billy: Bye. Nothing can stop us now. Bye.

Daniel: Mom, what the hell is goin' on here?

Phyllis: Daisy's back. She's here to get her parental rights reinstated.

Billy: (Clears throat)

Next on "The Young and the Restless"...

Diane: And sticking it to Victor is the only reason?

Adam: Do you think I'm crushing on you?

Kay: I will be more than happy to accept your letter of resignation.

Lauren: You tortured me! I will never forget that look of evil in her eye!

Michael: Come on.
