Episode # 9647 ~ Victor & Nikki Make Love

Provided By Suzanne
Proofread By Emma

Ashley: Oh, she should be here any minute.

Tucker: It's gettin' close.

Ashley: Mm-hmm.

Tucker: Exciting, huh?

Ashley: Mm-hmm.

Tucker: You want to talk about it?

Ashley: About what?

Tucker: My telling Abby that she wasn't welcome at our wedding.

Ashley: I hate to admit it, but it's gonna be a happier occasion without her there.

Abby: (Sighs) Coffee, coffee-- I need coffee.

Jack: I'll pretend I heard a "Please" in there.

Abby: I'm sorry. You call me here at this ungodly hour, and now you want to accuse me of not having manners? Thanks.

Jack: You know, if you'd return my calls when I make them...

Abby: (Sighs) Well, I've been really busy, Uncle Jack. I've been busy.

Jack: Making your TV show?

Abby: Yeah, yeah, and, um, breaking up with Daniel, you know? Just--just the usual stuff.

Jack: I'm sorry. I didn't know about that.

Abby: Whatever. (Sighs) It'll make holidays nice and awkward-- you and Phyllis, but no me and Daniel.

Jack: Actually, you won't have to worry about that. Phyllis won't be joining us, either.

(Footsteps coming downstairs)

Jack: Hey.

Billy: Hey. Thanks for the bed, Jack.

Abby: You slept here.

Billy: Mm-hmm.

Abby: I heard about Lucy being taken by child protective services. If there is anything that I can do at all...

Jack: Yeah, yeah, anything I can do--the same.

Billy: Yeah, thank you. I'll let you all know.

(Front door opens)

Abby: Wow.

(Front door closes)

Abby: The Abbotts are batting a thousand in the unhappy couples department.

Jack: Well, not quite. Actually, that's what I wanted to talk to you about.

Phyllis: Oh, hey.

Daniel: Hey.

Phyllis: Thanks for meeting with me.

Daniel: Mm-hmm.

Phyllis: So how's Kevin?

Daniel: You mean is he planning on making a claim for Daisy's baby?

Phyllis: No. How is he? Is he okay?

Daniel: I don't know. I haven't talked to Kevin. I haven't talked to Chloe. I-- I can't believe that Jana's dead. It--

Phyllis: We knew it wasn't gonna end up well. Two babies were kidnapped and then Kevin. I'm glad they're all safe now.

Daniel: Lucy's not home. We don't know if she's safe. I mean, C.P.S. won’t even tell us where the hell she is.

Phyllis: I know. It's very upsetting.

Daniel: It is.

Phyllis: I can see it upsets you.

Daniel: I just want to get the results from the D.N.A. test and get her out of foster care.

Phyllis: Have you thought about what happens after that?

Daniel: Yeah, I've thought-- yeah, I've told you what happens after that. You know.

Phyllis: Yeah, I know. I know what you've told me. Are you sure you're gonna be able to give her up?

Daniel: (Sighs)

Nikki: Victoria had a restless night after we spoke.

Victor: I'm glad you're with her.

Nikki: She could use your support, too, Victor.

Victoria: Mom?

Nikki: Yeah, Honey, I'm right here.

Victor: You go take care of her.

Nikki: All right. I'll call you later.

Nikki: Hi, Angel. How are you? I hoped that you could sleep in today.

Victoria: (Sighs) Mom, I had a dream last night that Lucy was here and that everything was all right.

Nikki: Oh, Baby.

Diane: How is she?

Victor: Who?

Diane: Victoria. That was Nikki on the phone, wasn't it?

Victor: (Sighs) Yeah. We're concerned about Victoria. That's all.

Diane: I wish you would talk to me about it.

Victor: I don't--

Diane: Let me help you.

Victor: I don't want to bore you with that, okay? It's a family matter, that's all.

(Doorbell rings)

Victor: Excuse me.

Victor: Come in.

Michael: Thank you. Oh, hi.

Diane: Michael.

Michael: You two need a minute?

Victor: No, we are finished. Michael and I have some business to discuss.

Diane: See you later.

Victor: Sit down, Michael.

Michael: (Sighs)

Victor: So...

(Front door closes)

Victor: I understand you're having some difficulty in your family.

Michael: Yeah, uh, things have been better.

Victor: All right. I'm sorry to hear that. Let me get right to the point. I understand you're representing Phyllis in the matter of Lucy Abbott?

Michael: I've agreed to negotiate privately for her, yes.

Victor: Uh-huh. That means you'd be going against my daughter Victoria. That can't happen.

Victoria: I wonder what Lucy's up to right now. She's always so happy in the morning. Billy and I lay in bed, and we listen to her on the monitor just laughing. Then we go in and we get her. She's always got a smile for us. Just-- what is she gonna do when-- when we're not there this morning?

Nikki: I'm sure Billy is wondering the same thing. You know, I understand why you sent him away last night. But... he truly is the only other one who understands completely what you're going through right now.

Victoria: Mom, he's the one... (Sighs) That caused this.

Nikki: Your father always shut me out when we needed each other the most.

Victoria: Listen. (Sighs) I really appreciate what you're trying to do right now, but I just want to be left alone.

Nikki: Okay. I love you. I'll talk to you later.

Victoria: Thanks, Mom.

[Victoria remembering]

Billy: It's the light in here, or does she have red in her hair? Look right there.

Victoria: Oh, she does.

Billy: She does.

Victoria: Oh, my God. I've got it.

Billy: Got what?

Victoria: Red hair, the '50s... how much we love her...

(Gasps)

Billy: (Chuckles)

Together: Lucy!

Phyllis: Okay, listen to me. Whether you like it or not, there's still a chance you could get custody of your daughter.

Daniel: Temporary custody.

Phyllis: Yeah, temporary custody. Still, she'll be living with you. You will be taking care of her. You will bond with her. You may even come to love her.

Daniel: It won't be for that long.

Phyllis: Now you keep on saying you don't want to be a parent. You don't want to be a parent.

Daniel: I don't want to be a parent. Still don't want to be a parent.

Phyllis: I understand. I understand, but just see how you feel after you spend some time with Lucy.

Daniel: I'm not gonna feel any different.

Phyllis: Please don't make any more commitments to Billy and Victoria.

Daniel: Mom, what does Billy--I thought Billy was your friend. Why are you making him out to be a bad guy now?

Phyllis: He is my friend. I am not doing that. It kills me that they could lose a child that they have come to love. I know how they feel. Lucy is your daughter. She belongs with us.

Daniel: You know, lots of kids, they grow up with parents that they're not related to. I mean, I-I am a prime example of that.

Phyllis: Yeah, you are. But I'm not talking about that right now. You know, I'm not a big believer, as you know, in the universe is trying to tell you something, but I cannot-- I cannot ignore this message.

Daniel: What message?

Phyllis: You did everything you could except skywrite that you didn't want to be a father. Your marriage broke up because of it, Daniel. And through some nightmarish miracle, your daughter ends up here, despite everything you did to stop that from happening. You can't ignore that. You two have a connection.

Daniel: I--that's-- I-I don't know. I tried--

Phyllis: I know you know what I'm talking about. Daniel, do not... do not let this chance slip through your fingers. Do not do it, for Lucy's sake, and for yours.

Michael: Regardless of who I'm representing, we are all trying to avoid a public court battle.

Victor: Yeah, but wait a minute. You're still opposing my daughter.

Michael: Well, this isn't about one side opposing the other. It's about what's best for an innocent little baby, and we've already reached an agreement concerning that.

Victor: Michael, now that protective services has gotten a hold of Lucy, any deal you brokered is gonna be meaningless.

Michael: (Sighs)

Victor: I understand they've ordered a D.N.A. test.

Michael: Daniel wants to get Lucy out of foster care. So does Victoria.

Victor: You and I know that once Phyllis gets her hands on that child, she ain't gonna let go. If you help Phyllis to take Victoria's child away from her, you will no longer be working for me. The choice is yours.

Tucker: Yeah? Mm.

Ashley: Mm-hmm.

Jenni: The happy couple.

Ashley: Oh. (Laughs)

Jenni: I'd recognize you anywhere.

Ashley: Hi, Jenni.

Jenni: Guess I don't have to ask if you're ready to do this.

Ashley: Oh, I think we're ready.

Tucker: Yeah, we're ready.

Abby: (Sighs)

Jack: I want to talk to you about your mother's wedding.

Abby: Oh, please don't. Please don't. My headache is already getting worse. (Sighs)

Jack: She really wants you to be there, Kiddo.

Abby: Have you actually double-checked that with her? Because last night she made it really clear that she does not want me there.

Jack: She said that?

Abby: No, "McJerk" said it, speaking for both of them, and she totally backed him up.

Jack: Yeah, yeah, maybe at the moment. I know, without a shadow of a doubt, she would be terribly disappointed if you weren't there.

Abby: (Groans)

Jack: Abby, you're her daughter. You're her only child.

Abby: Yeah. Yeah. I know. So I'm supposed to support her, no matter what. Blah, blah, blah. Blah.

Jack: Don't trivialize your mother's happiness.

Abby: That skeezeball is not going to make her happy. Look, you want to walk her down the aisle and pretend that he's going to, you just go ahead, but I'll pass, okay?

(Doorbell rings)

Jack: We're not finished here. I'll be right back.

Abby: (Sighs)

Diane: I had to see you.

Jack: This--this isn't a good time.

Diane: I just--

Abby: Diane. Wow. I just--I just can't wait to hear what you just had to see my Uncle Jack about.

(Cell phone thuds)

Phyllis: Hey. Thanks for meeting with me.

Michael: (Sighs) Yeah. Uh, I was gonna call you. I've been busy.

Phyllis: Oh, yeah. How's Kevin doing?

Michael: Uh, okay. Gloria's with him. That's not why you called, though.

Phyllis: (Sighs) Yeah. I, um, have been thinking about our last conversation regarding--

Michael: You want to fight for custody after all.

Phyllis: I'm hoping Daniel will.

Michael: Has Daniel said anything to you that makes you believe that he wants to do this?

Phyllis: You know, Michael, it is a feeling that I have.

Michael: Were you also feeling that I would represent you and Daniel in court?

Phyllis: Yes. I-I know--I know you have your reservations, because Lauren has her fears that, you know, this is gonna get out of control and go public, but, really, there's nothing we can do at this point to stop that.

Michael: Probably not.

Phyllis: Yeah. So if--if we work together, I think we could at least control the situation.

Michael: No. No.

Phyllis: No?

Michael: No. I am sorry. I cannot represent you. Uh, as of now, I am no longer your attorney.

Jenni: Well, yeah, and I'm gonna need a final head count, so I can book my people.

Ashley: Ohh, you're right. You're right. Okay, I'll get that to you later today. I'll e-mail it, all right?

Jenni: We're good to go, then, unless you have any more questions, Tuck.

Tucker: No, Jen, I'm good.

Ashley: Were you even listening?

Tucker: Well, yeah.

Ashley: You're fine.

Tucker: Food, flowers, staff...

Ashley: Mm-hmm.

Tucker: And what about the music?

Jenni: Ditch the string quartet, just like you said.

Ashley: Why? Why did you say that?

Tucker: Why? Why did I say that? Because I happen to have a couple of friends who are in a little band called the New York Philharmonic, and they've agreed to play at our wedding.

Ashley: The New York Philharmonic?

Tucker: Yeah.

Ashley: That is... (Scoffs)

Tucker: What? Extravagant?

Ashley: It's romantic.

Tucker: (Laughs) Yeah.

Ashley: I don't know about the two of you, though. Y-you're--what are you doing, going behind my back planning things?

Jenni: Whoa. Only about the music.

Ashley: I don't know. You're doing something... else behind my back. What are you planning?

Tucker: No.

Jenni: Practice-- that's what we need to do. Let's go over the whole ceremony.

Tucker: Well, that's a hell of an idea. Come on, Darling.

Jenni: You guys will be here.

Tucker: Over here?

Jenni: Mm-hmm.

Diane: I'd like to speak with you about Kyle.

Abby: (Scoffs) Yeah, right.

Diane: Privately, if you please.

Abby: Privately. Privately. I'm sure she'd love some "Private time" with you, Uncle Jack.

Diane: Abby, I'm married.

Abby: (Stammers) That would stop you. I'm sorry. What was I thinking?

Jack: Diane, could we maybe meet later? Abby and I are in the middle of something.

Abby: No, I was just leaving. But it was really good chatting with you again, Diane. See you, Uncle Jack.

Jack: (Sighs)

(Door opens) (Door closes)

Phyllis: I need you to help me in this custody battle. You know what? So does Lauren. Lauren needs you, too. To--together, we can keep this quiet.

Michael: But Lauren's not the only reason I can't take this case.

Phyllis: What other reason would there be? Victor?

Michael: (Inhales sharply) (Sighs)

Phyllis: (Gasps) Oh, my God. You're picking your boss over your best friend.

Michael: It's--it's not just about my working for Victor.

Phyllis: What is it about? What, you--you don't want to alienate the Newmans? What is--what is it about?

Michael: I don't want to fight them. I think Billy and Victoria are good parents.

Phyllis: And my son wouldn't be a good parent?

Michael: He doesn't want to be a parent.

Phyllis: He does want to be a parent! He does. He does. He's gonna spend time with Lucy. He's gonna bond with her. And he's gonna realize what he stands to lose.

Michael: What, to make up for what you lost with Daniel? You can't make up for that by pushing him to get custody of Lucy.

Phyllis: I will never, ever let my son experience the same pain I did. I will never let that happen.

Michael: If you force him to do something he doesn't want to do, you will hurt Daniel.

Phyllis: I will--

Michael: You will hurt Daniel and you will hurt Lucy.

Phyllis: And, oh, don't forget about Billy and Victoria and Victor and Nikki and--

Michael: (Loudly) I don't want to hurt-- (Quietly) I don't want to hurt anybody.

Phyllis: Except me. You don't care about hurting me.

Michael: (Normal voice) I am sorry, but I think it is best for everyone that Lucy stays with Billy and Victoria. So, yeah, there's that. (Sighs) Sorry.

Nikki: Hi, Michael.

Michael: Hey, Nikki.

Nikki: Is he okay?

Phyllis: Is anybody okay who bends to Victor's will?

Nikki: Well, of course. He does Victor's bidding. He works for him.

Phyllis: Oh, yeah. Right. So that should be a good enough reason for him to not help my son get his daughter back.

(Footsteps retreating)

Daniel: Hey.

Abby: Hey. You want to sit?

Daniel: Sure. (Clears throat)

Jack: Just see that I have the tuxedo in time for the wedding. Thanks. So is this about Kyle? Problems at school?

Diane: Grades are good, lots of friends. In fact, he's spending the night with one of those friends tonight. But I was thinking, um... maybe he could spend a few more here.

Jack: You know, that's always okay. What--what's-- what's this really about?

Diane: I just thought it would be nice for the two of you to spend more time together.

Jack: Can I take that to mean there's trouble in paradise?

Diane: No.

Jack: You're hedging your bets here and using our son to do it, which is proof I should spend more time with him.

Diane: (Scoffs) I am a good mother. I just...nothing is going the way that I want it to lately. And I try to make it work. And for a time, it feels like it's gonna be all right, and then it... I'm just not used to things being so out of control. I... I feel lost.

Jack: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.

Diane: What? What? The other night--

Jack: Yeah, the other night was great. I can't solve your problems with Victor. You knew what you were in for-- the name, the status, the money.

Diane: It ain't enough.

Jack: So tell Victor.

Nikki: I went for coffee. I ran into Michael and Phyllis.

Victor: Oh, yeah?

Nikki: Phyllis is pretty upset.

Victor: Mm-hmm. Well, I'm not amazed about that. Um... sides are being taken, you know?

Nikki: Michael is obviously taking the side of the Newmans.

Victor: Oh, well, I'm glad to hear that.

Nikki: You spoke to him, didn't you?

Victor: (Chuckles) I confer with him daily.

Nikki: Today was not about business. You did this for Victoria.

Victoria: (Sighs)

Victoria: You look tired.

Billy: Didn't really sleep last night.

Victoria: (Sighs)

Billy: I kept wondering, uh... if Lucy was okay, if she was crying.

Victoria: Yeah. I just... prayed that she was... asleep. You know, Billy, even if she's with good people... (Sighs, sniffles)

Billy: They don't know the songs she likes.

Victoria: No, and they don't know that she likes to be swayed back and forth... (Sniffles) And not bounced up and down. And the social worker didn't even... take blankie. (Sniffles) I mean, what if she's confused, and what if she thinks that we abandoned her? (Sighs) (Sniffles)

Billy: I am sorry. I thought bringing Lucy into our lives was gonna be all good. Instead, we're, um...

Victoria: Instead, it did this. It's just this. (Sighs) (Sniffles)

Billy: You have no idea how much I wanted to be here with you last night.

Victoria: (Sniffles) I thought it would be better without you, but I was wrong.

Jenni: Try to look like you're in love.

Tucker: (Laughs) Oh! That's good.

Ashley: (Giggles)

Jenni: Maybe you should practice your vows or something, get in the mood.

Ashley: Okay.

Tucker: Uh, I, Tucker...

Ashley: Mm-hmm.

Tucker: Take you, Ashley, to be my woman.

Ashley: I think that needs work... (Laughs) A little bit.

Tucker: (Laughs)

(Cell phone alert chimes)

Jenni: Ooh, something on the back burner. Gotta run, Kids.

Tucker: What?

Jenni: Any more questions?

Ashley: Uh, well--

Jenni: Okay, good. See you later. Head count--e-mail.

Ashley: Okay, I won't forget.

Tucker: Wow.

Ashley: Guess it was important.

Tucker: I guess so.

Ashley: So go ahead.

Tucker: Yeah.

Ashley: I think we should do our vows for real. Let's try 'em.

Tucker: What, you've written yours already?

Ashley: You mean, you haven't?

Tucker: I have, uh, I have a general idea of what I want to say.

Ashley: Uh-huh.

Tucker: I--you know, I'd like it to be more spontaneous.

Ashley: Uh-huh.

Tucker: But I'll give you a preview of my vows if you'll give me one of yours.

Ashley: Okay.

Tucker: I'll--I'll do that.

Ashley: Well, what I was gonna do is start with my basic first impression of you. I thought you were very arrogant. I'm sorry. I did. I did. And the word--I did.

Tucker: (Scoffs) Okay.

Ashley: You kind of were. And the word "Jackass"-- it--it's there somewhere.

Tucker: (Scoffs) "Jackass"?

Ashley: Yeah.

Tucker: Okay, well, that's good, because, you know, I was gonna toss out "Condescending" and "Aloof" when I describe you.

Ashley: Oh, "Aloof," really?

Tucker: Yeah.

Ashley: Ouch. I hope you know I was just kidding. I mean, I would never... really call you a jackass, I mean, not at our wedding in front of all of your friends.

Tucker: I wouldn't say those things about you, either.

Ashley: You wouldn't?

Tucker: Mnh-mnh. You were a little aloof.

Ashley: You were incredibly arrogant.

Tucker: So what?

Abby: They don't want me at their wedding.

Daniel: Well, you weren't planning on going, anyway.

Abby: Well, yeah, but that's not the point.

Daniel: Why are you letting Tucker mess with you?

Abby: I'm not.

Daniel: Come on. We were all good about me not telling you about Lucy, and then you go and you pick a fight with Lily in front of an audience, like it was an episode from one of your TV shows or something. Come on, not cool, not from you.

Abby: But, okay, I had literally just had a huge fight with my mom.

Daniel: Well, I guess that was the green light to go ahead and publicly humiliate anyone that was in your path then.

Abby: I had a bad night, okay?

Daniel: Your mom and Tucker, they've been planning on getting married for months. Why do you pick now to melt down about it?

Abby: Because now it's actually happening. In two days, my mom is gonna be Mrs. Tucker Mc-- uh, saying his name actually makes me want to barf.

Daniel: Unless you want to be permanently nauseous, I'd get used to the idea.

Abby: (Scoffs) Well, that's not happening.

Daniel: Fine.

Abby: "Fine"? My life is about to go down the toilet. All you can say is "Fine"?

Daniel: Well, it's a lot more than what you said about what's going on in my life.

Abby: I heard about Lucy going into foster care, and I know that there's not really much you can do about it.

Daniel: That's right. There isn't much I can do about any of the stuff that's happening to that little girl, which, to me, is a much bigger problem than a grown woman's mommy getting married to someone she doesn't like.

Abby: (Scoffs)

Phyllis: Oh. Oh, yeah, Crimson Lights is good. That's good. Um, uh, Leslie, listen, um, the reason I'm choosing you is because... you beat Victor once, and, um, I'm hoping you can do it again. Yeah. Okay, thanks. All right.

Jack: Leslie Michaelson?

Phyllis: Well, you should give Billy fair warning.

Jack: You're really gonna fight for Lucy?

Phyllis: With everything I've got.

Victoria: (Sighs) It's got that baby scent on it. (Inhales sharply)

Billy: Vick, uh...

Victoria: You know, I keep thinking about... getting her back and what's stopping us. And, well, I'm scared, Billy, but I'm not scared of that social worker or some lawyer or judge. There's only one person standing in our way.

Billy: Yeah, Phyllis.

Victoria: She's got something that none of the others have.

Billy: What, that scary, greedy look she has in her eye when she has something she wants?

Victoria: Blood. She has a blood connection to Lucy. And that's hard. That's... (Sighs) That's impossible to break.

Billy: Biology-- yeah, that happens. But what you and me and Lucy have, that's more than just a fluke of nature. Thousands of people arrange adoptions every day. Rafe made one phone call, directed me right to Prim. And Daisy, she could have given that baby to any broker. She could have kept her, moved to Canada with her, but she didn't. All the pieces fell right into place. Lucy was supposed to be here. She's meant to be our daughter. It's her destiny, and it's our destiny. Now I don't know about you, but I don't want to mess with fate.

Victoria: Bring it on, Phyllis. We have the universe on our side.

Billy: (Chuckles)

Nikki: Is it possible for something to be fragile and strong at the same time?

Victor: Sure.

Nikki: You know, sometimes I think if somebody blew on the Newman family, we would crumble, but at other times...

Victor: (Sighs)

Nikki: I feel like nothing could knock us down.

Victor: I've left a lot of the work to you, lately, haven't I, to hold our family together?

Nikki: You have carried a lot of the burden recently, especially today. What you did for Victoria... well, I want to thank you for that.

Victor: (Sighs)

Nikki: Well, I guess I should be going.

Victor: Um... (Sighs) (Sighs) Don't go.

Tucker: Mm. You know, if we keep this up, we're gonna have to skip the wedding and go straight to the honeymoon.

Ashley: I wouldn't mind. Would you?

Tucker: No, I wouldn't mind. Except... I've waited my whole life to get married.

Ashley: I know. Why is that?

Tucker: It's simple, Darling. I was waiting for you.

Daniel: I didn't mean for it to come out like that.

Abby: Mm. So you had a better way of saying that I am a spoiled brat? You know what? I-I-I was going to apologize to you for what happened at Gloworm, getting all wrapped up in my own stuff, but you know what? Forget you.

Daniel: Can we just talk about this like two adults?

Abby: Oh, well, uh, apparently, one of us is not an adult, right?

Daniel: Or just refuses to act like one.

Abby: Just so we're perfectly clear, the other night when I broke up with you, I was so drunk, I wasn't sure I even meant it. But today, completely sober, I am 100% positive that we are over.

Jack: Its funny-- Victor and I on the same side of an argument, you and I on the opposite. A few weeks ago, I wouldn't have thought that was possible.

Phyllis: Me, neither.

Jack: You're wrong, you know, taking Billy and Victoria's daughter away from them.

Phyllis: (Scoffs) She's my son's daughter. She belongs with my son. I don't know what else to say. It... you of all people should understand this, how hard you fought to get Kyle back when--when you found out that he was your son.

Jack: You're right. I did fight for Kyle. In the end, I let Diane have him, not because I didn't love him, not because I didn't care about him-- because it was best for Kyle.

Phyllis: (Laughs)

Jack: That's what we do for kids when we want to help them. We do what's best for them.

Phyllis: This little girl belongs with family.

Jack: She is with family.

Phyllis: (Scoffs)

Jack: And they are gonna fight to hold on to her. Billy and Victoria, me, Victor-- you're gonna have to take us all on. Good luck with that.

Victoria: Hey. Hi, Michael. You want to sit down?

Michael: No, this won't take long. I wanted to tell you in person, though, before you heard it from Rafe. (Scoffs) I will not be representing Phyllis.

Victoria: Because of Lauren?

Michael: That's part of it.

Billy: Part?

Michael: Um... I really can't get into the rest.

Victoria: Okay.

Billy: I-I-I gotcha.

Victoria: Yeah.

Billy: Whatever the reason, uh, we're glad. We weren't really looking forward to facing you in court.

Michael: I hope Lucy comes home soon.

Victoria: Thank you.

Billy: Thanks.

Michael: I should go.

Billy: Okay.

Victoria: Bye, Michael.

Billy: Thank you. You see? Things are starting to fall into place already.

Victoria: Huh. I wonder.

Billy: What do you wonder?

Victoria: Are they starting to fall into place, or is my father making them?

Billy: Does it really matter?

Victoria: No. Just as long as we get Lucy back, it doesn't matter.

Billy: Mm.

Nikki: (Moans)

Next on "The Young and the Restless"...

Phyllis: Daniel's baby is none of your business.

Nick: Oh, sit down. You're not--you're not walking away from me right now.

Nikki: I still want him.

Kay: Deacon?

Nikki: Victor.

Jack: When Phyllis is like this, you should prepare for all-out war.
