Chloe: Michael... (Sighs) Does Angelo know where Kevin is?

Michael: If he did know, I don't think I would have let the police release him.

Chloe: (Sighs) Okay. What about Lucy? Did child protective services really take her?

Michael: Yes, they did, apparently right out of Victoria’s arms.

Chloe: (Sighs) And it's definitely because...

Michael: Because the custody suit you filed accused Billy of illegally adopting her, yes.

Chloe: I didn't know what else to do, you know? I-I never wanted this to happen.

Michael: Chloe, somehow, I don't believe that's very important now.

Chloe: (Sighs)

Phyllis: Hey, Michael, did you get anywhere with the D.A.?

Michael: I was delayed.

Daniel: Oh, that's him. Hey, Mr. Walsh, hi. Daniel Romalotti. Uh, I think there's a mistake that's been made.

Spencer: If this is about the Abbott baby, I'm sorry. There's nothing I can do.

Billy: The waiting's driving me absolutely crazy. I think I might go down to the police station. Walsh isn't exactly a sentimental guy, but maybe pleading from Lucy’s father might help tip the scales. I don't know. If that doesn't work, I'll try something else. I'll keep trying anything until Lucy’s back here. I promise.

Victoria: Fine. I'll go with you. It's a hell of a lot better than sitting around here missing her.

(Stuffed animal plays music)

Victoria: Just-- I'll get my purse.

Kevin: Jana? Jana? Let me out, please. Are you even there? Did you leave me alone again? Ja-- (sighs) Damn it. Now what?

(Front door opens)

Kevin: Jana, is that you?

Jana: (Sighs) Did you miss me?

Kevin: Would you please, please just let me out of here? I hate it in here.

Jana: (Sighs)

Kevin: (Sighs) Thank you.

Jana: It's okay. You're safe. I'm here now, and I have a surprise for you. Come on. Come on.

Nikki: Thank you.

Ashley: Nikki, hi there.

Nikki: Hi.

Ashley: I didn't see you. What do you think about this "Find Kevin" campaign anyway?

Nikki: Well, Katherine is behind it...

Ashley: Really?

Nikki: And she's a very good judge of character. She's convinced he was unjustly accused. Really, the only thing I care about is that the girls are home and safe...

Ashley: Mm.

Nikki: And Delia doesn't seem to have been traumatized at all. I mean, as far as she knows, it could have been just another outing with her nanny.

Ashley: Actually, I was hoping she'd be the flower girl at my wedding. (Laughs)

Nikki: Ohh, how adorable.

Ashley: Wouldn't that be cute? I know. I'm going over to Billy’s right now to talk to him about it.

Nikki: Oh, well, don't let me keep you.

Ashley: Okay, you take care.

(Cell phone rings)

Nikki: Victoria, I was just talking about you. What? Why? All right, I'll be right there.

Lily: Are you here? (Sighs) I am completely... losing my mind.

Cane: Are you looking for me?

Lily: You're here.

Cane: You seem surprised.

Lily: Well, I-I didn't know if, you know, maybe I had sent the flowers to myself without even realizing it...

Cane: No.

Lily: Because I need to see you that much.

Cane: You're not losing your mind, Sweetheart. This is real.

Lily: How is this even happening?

Cane: I don't know. I wish I had the answers for you. But I know it's hard for you not to tell other people about this.

Lily: Yeah, I think I'm gonna have to tell somebody.

Cane: No. You can't do that.

Lily: Yeah, I'm-- you know, maybe Daniel or, you know, Devon. I mean, somebody that I can trust.

Cane: All right, listen. I understand this is hard for you, okay? But if we can't understand this, we can't expect anybody else to. Just talk to me about it. Talk to me.

Lily: I've missed that more than anything.

Cane: You've missed it more than this?

Kevin: I'm sorry that I made you mad. Please don't punish me.

Jana: I really don't like putting you in the closet. I don’t. (Sighs)

Kevin: It was my own fault. I made bad choices, and I can do better.

Jana: Believe me, this hurts me so much more than it hurts you. I really wish this wasn't necessary.

Kevin: I've learned my lesson. I swear.

Jana: We can't stop now, because we have to do whatever we can to get back to the way we were, to the way we were when you loved me, again. Okay? Just keep... mm. (Sighs)

Kevin: Jana, if you want me to love you, you have to stop being so scary.

Jana: This is who I was when you fell in love with me. Don't you remember? Don't you remember? You found me so irresistible. Don't you remember? Hmm?

Kevin: No, no, I'll tell you what I remember. You know what remember? I remember an ashram in Malibu, okay? And a crazy, magical wedding, and I remember motorcycle rides and giving you an anniversary present every month. And I remember giving up cheeseburgers for nut-burgers because it made you happy, and I remember being into all of that "Woo-woo" stuff, just for you.

Jana: You even got the Ouija board out yourself, you know.

Kevin: That's right. That's right, I did, because you were in danger, and I was trying to save you. Because that's who we are to each other, Jana. We help each other. And--and when Clint messed with my head, it was you who brought me back from the darkness, so how could you possibly think that locking me in a closet and torturing me is gonna get us back to what we were? Come on now.

Jana: Well, actually, it wasn't really me who saved you from Clint. (Sighs)

Kevin: Yes, it was.

Jana: No, it wasn’t. It was Amber. (Sniffles)

Kevin: (Sighs)

Jana: I didn't tell you this, but I got quite bloody jealous of how close you two got. Everyone called you "Bonnie and Clyde." Well, Bonnie and Clyde were madly in love with each other, weren't they? So much so, that they were even willing to die to be with each other, weren't they? That's what we need to do. That's what we need to do. (Stomping foot) We need to create that intensity again in your life, but this time, not with Amber, but with me! (Sighs)

Kevin: Jana, we are already on the run from the law.

Jana: (Sniffles) Well, I am. You're not in jeopardy, are you? And no one's gonna believe that you were involved in Lucy and Delia’s kidnapping. So now you need to commit a crime. You need to do something serious, something really big!

Kevin: No.

Jana: Yes, yes.

Kevin: No, I am not gonna hurt anybody. You--

Jana: We'll stick to what you know best. You're really good at robbing banks, and I've just run out of money from buying your present... (Kicks cardboard box) So it all works out.

Kevin: Jana, Jana, Jana.

Jana: Yeah?

Kevin: Jana, I was terrible at robbing banks. I got shot, and I almost bled to death.

Jana: I'm sensing a lot of resistance from you, Kevin. Do you want to go back in that closet? I thought you said you'd do anything not to go back in that closet.

Kevin: I did say that, but--

Jana: It seems like you haven't even been broken yet. Why do you still want to be the one in charge, the one making all the decisions? Don't you realize I know better?! (Stomps foot) (Breathing heavily) Oh, no. I'm sorry. It's not your fault. I didn't mean to blame you, Darling. I'm sorry. It just I haven't been strong enough. That's all. I haven't really pushed you over the edge. Well, now... we're gonna rectify that, right now.

Michael: Spencer, I realize that child protective services is not your domain...

Spencer: That's right, Counselor.

Michael: But this case should have never gone to the C.P.S. in the first place. There have been no accusations of neglect or abuse. Whatever issues the state had with the adoption could have been handled without taking a young baby out of the only home she ever knew.

Spencer: It's a moot point now. I don't have the authority to undo what's already happened.

Phyllis: Can you please talk to someone who does?

Michael: You could put in a call to the judge that oversees family court, ask for an emergency review. You were his roommate in law school.

Spencer: The Abbott family will have to make their case in family court just like everybody else. What I know of the situation-- they have no legal right to custody.

Daniel: No, no, that's n-not true. That's not true at all. I'm the biological father, and I made it very clear that I want her with them.

Spencer: Can you prove paternity?

Daniel: Yeah, I took a D.N.A. test. Look, I know that the courts are gonna want another one, and I'm ready. Whenever you want to do one, let's do it. Let's take another test.

Spencer: Again, not my arena.

Daniel: (Scoffs) Oh, what do you mean, it's not your arena? Come on.

Michael: Spencer!

Phyllis: Unh-unh. You have-- you can't talk to him like that. Relax.

Daniel: (Sighs)

Phyllis: We'll take another D.N.A. test. You'll get your child back.

Daniel: Billy and Victoria’s child.

Phyllis: Right, exactly. I know. I know.

Daniel: (Sighs)

Victoria: This is your fault. We lost our baby because of you. Really, I mean, what the hell is wrong with you?

Chloe: I didn't know what they'd do.

Victoria: Really? Did you enjoy watching us suffer when the girls were missing? I mean, that made you happy? Is--you wanted to see more of that? Is that what it was?

Chloe: Victoria, I swear to God...

Victoria: Uh-huh?

Chloe: I didn't think that they would do this.

Victoria: What, so now you're gonna take Delia away from Billy? You want to break his heart? We've already lost Reed, and now I might lose my baby girl.

Chloe: I'm sorry. I'm so sorry.

Billy: Oh, yeah, that's helpful. Thank you very much.

Chloe: Hey, Billy, you wouldn't listen to me. I was trying to tell you that Jana was insane.

Victoria: You have made plenty of mistakes in your life. Lying about Cane being Delia’s father-- but Billy’s gotta be perfect? You are such a vindictive, little hypocrite. You know what? You're no better than Jana. You're really not.

Nikki: Honey. Honey.

Victoria: What?

Nikki: Come on.

Billy: Nikki, do me a favor-- will you take her home?

Victoria: No, I'm not goin' home!

Billy: I'm gonna handle Chloe.

Victoria: Oh, really? You're gonna handle her like you've just--you've handled everything else so wonderfully?

Nikki: Victoria, stop.

Victoria: (Sobs)

Nikki: You are too upset. You can't accomplish anything like this. Now come with me.

Victoria: Fine!

Nikki: Come on, Honey. Come on.

Billy: (Taps countertop) Let's you and I talk right over here.

Phyllis: Okay.

Daniel: Yeah, okay. Michael, what are we gonna do next? Because I want this resolved before anybody finds out that Lucy is Daisy's baby.

Phyllis: Um, after that, I think people in town are gonna find out.

Michael: Okay, okay. Look, I'll make a few phone calls, see what judge has been assigned to the case, all right?

Rafe: It's Judge Welchert, which is good news.

Daniel: Why is that good news?

Rafe: He's an old friend of my father's, and I've already spoken with him. He wants you to take the D.N.A. test right away. It's all set up.

Phyllis: Thank you.

Cane: I've needed this.

Lily: Me, too.

Cane: You know, I miss the babies.

Lily: I know they miss you.

Cane: It's hard on them, isn't it?

Lily: Yeah, but, you know, they're okay.

Cane: So what are they doin'? Hmm?

Lily: Um, well, Matty is gonna walk any day now.

Cane: Ohh.

Lily: (Chuckles) And, uh, I think Charlie wants to be a major league pitcher, because he just grabs everything that he sees and just throws it.

Cane: (Laughs)

Lily: Which actually is driving me crazy, but he's so cute. You know, he can get away with it.

Cane: I want to see 'em.

Kevin: You're the boss, okay? Just don't let me get caught, 'cause then they'll send me back to jail, and I can't handle that.

Jana: I promise, I'm going to protect you, okay?

Kevin: Uh-huh.

Jana: Of course... and don't forget, I have read every true crime book in existence, so I know all the pitfalls and how to avoid them. (Sighs) So let's get started.

Kevin: Now?

Jana: Yeah. Well, no point waiting.

Kevin: Well, we're not ready. We don't have supplies. We don't have a plan.

Jana: What do you think I've been doing while you've been in that closet all that time? I made a mask. See? You lucky boy. (Sighs) You get to wear this. (Sighs) (Imitates chipmunk chattering)

Lily: You want me to bring the twins here to your grave?

Cane: Yes, Dear. This is hard for me, though, being apart from them.

Lily: Okay, um, l-let me just think about it, okay?

Cane: I gotta go.

Lily: Already?

Cane: Yeah. I'm gonna see you again, though, okay?

Lily: Well, when?

Cane: I'll be waiting. Just come back.

Chloe: Look, you don't need to tear into me right now. I already feel awful.

Billy: Oh, who gives a good damn about how you feel? How about my daughter? She's not with her mother right now. She has no idea where she is. They wouldn't even let her take her blanket, for God sakes.

Chloe: I never wanted this.

Billy: No, you just wanted to take one of my daughters, right? Just one? That makes it okay?

Chloe: It's not like you've never threatened me to file for full custody for our kid.

Billy: Yeah, to wake you up, to make you pay attention, to make you realize that hangin' out with gangsters isn't exactly a good parenting choice. Do you know me? Have I ever hurt you? Have I ever hurt my daughter? Do you really think I'd make her grow up without her mother?

Chloe: What was I supposed to do? I mean, she took our daughter.

Billy: And we got her back the same day.

Chloe: Yeah, thanks to Kevin.

Billy: You don't know that. You don't know that. And you in this stupid little shirt. He could be the one callin' the shots.

Chloe: Oh, my God. You're not even being rational.

Billy: (Pounds on table) It's a little hard to be rational with someone who just took my daughter from me!

Chloe: Okay, fine. I-I shouldn't have told them about Lucy, or I shouldn't have told them about the adoption when I filed.

Billy: You shouldn't have filed at all. Look at me. I am a good father. I might be a horrible boyfriend. I might be a really, really bad husband. I'm even worse as a son, but I am a good father. I do right by my children. They love me. I love them. Delia needs me, and I need her.

Chloe: (Sighs) I don't trust your judgment, okay? I don't trust it, and it scares me. Jana is a head case, obviously.

Billy: Do you know who else has mental issues? A history of violence? Kevin. So what's that say about you?

Chloe: (Scoffs)

Billy: Hmm? If we're gonna base this on the past, then I should have taken my daughter from you the moment that you hooked up with that stupid, little freak.

Kevin: (Punches door) Let me out, please.

Jana: Is it bringing back memories?

Kevin: Where did you get that?

Jana: Online. It got a bit banged up en route, but its okay. It will serve its purpose. Try it on.

Kevin: No.

Jana: But the Ouija board wants you to.

Kevin: The Ouija board?

Jana: Yeah. It told me to buy it for you. It kept spelling out the word "Nuts."

Kevin: Gee, I wonder why?

Jana: Go on, and do as I say.

Kevin: I don't want to.

Jana: Do you want to go back in the closet?

Kevin: No.

Jana: Put... the thing... on--

Kevin: Get it off me!

Jana: You're bloody tricking me again!

Kevin: You have to give this up, Jana. The closet, the chipmunk-- none of this is gonna get you anywhere.

Jana: (Inhales deeply) Well, there is one thing that will break you. Oh, God, I'm sorry, but you've left me no choice.

Nikki: So... Billy bought Lucy?

Victoria: Billy knew that we probably wouldn't be able to adopt a baby through the regular channels. And I knew that, too.

[Doorbell rings]

Nikki: I’m  glad you’re here.

Ashley: I'm just speechless.

Victoria: Yeah, well, that makes two of us.

Ashley: I know Billy can be impulsive.

Victoria: (Sighs)

Ashley: And he was really concerned about you when you found out that you couldn't have any more children. But I just never imagined he would do something like this.

Victoria: He said he took one look at Lucy, and he knew that she belonged with us. And I can't disagree with that. I felt the same way, you know? And even when I found out who her biological... parents were, I-I still feel very protective of her.

Nikki: I realize it's not the same situation you went through with Faith, but I was hoping you might have some advice to help Victoria get through this.

Ashley: Oh, I'm so sorry. I mean, I know what you're going through. I'm really sorry. But you know what? In your case, it's-- it's, um, it's really only temporary, right? Because Daniel knows that he's not ready to be a father, and he wants you to have the baby, right?

Victoria: Yeah, but, I mean, who knows what the courts are gonna decide? I mean, I hate that I have to let some judge tear my family apart. I mean, he doesn't even know me. I don't want to go through this again.

Ashley: I know, and you know what?

Victoria: (Sniffles)

Ashley: I was just completely in a state of panic when I found out that I was gonna have to lose Faith. And people were really concerned about my mental health, and God knows they should have been, but I did get through it, and I even managed to be happy again, Victoria. (Sighs) Oh, God, not to say that I don't think about Faith every day, and I miss her, but...

Nikki: You do get to see her, though, right?

Ashley: Yeah, I do. I mean, Nick's been really great about that, but, I mean, I-- I've had to accept the fact that I'm not her mother. I mean... (Sniffles) And actually, she doesn't even have a mother right now, does she? And that makes me really nuts, but... (Sniffles) (Sighs) I guess what I'm trying to say is that what gets me through is knowing that she's happy and she's healthy and that she's got a father that loves her, and I guess I just have to be okay with that.

Victoria: I don't even know where Lucy’s gonna end up.

Ashley: Oh, don't, please? Don't give up hope. I mean, there's such a good chance she's gonna end up in your arms again.

Michael: If you're still thinking of fighting Billy and Victoria--

Phyllis: I never said that. I never said that--not out loud.

Michael: Oh, not out loud, is it? Well, this--

Billy: Hey, so this is where you guys ran off to.

Michael: Well, after I stopped by the lab, Daniel gave them a D.N.A. sample.

Billy: That's great. Got the ball rolling. He'll get custody, hopefully, and then, uh, things can go back as originally planned with Vicki and I raising Lucy. This could work out great. (Sighs) Look, I-I never really did get a chance to thank you. Things got so crazy so fast, but thank you for allowing us to have Lucy at the house. I mean, I think if we get the judge to sign on, you'll see you made the right call. Nobody's gonna love this girl more than we do.

Phyllis: That was never a concern, Billy.

Billy: Okay, um, I'm gonna get something sweet to bring home to Victoria... to get me through the door. (Clears throat) I'll tell her the good news about the D.N.A. test. Thank you.

Lily: Hey. I am so glad that you're here.

Daniel: Hey.

Lily: I wanted--

Daniel: Child protective services took Lucy.

Lily: What? Why would they do that?

Daniel: Well, it all came out about the illegal adoption. Everything's just goin' to hell.

(Cell phone rings)

Chloe: Oh. Hello?

Jana: Hello, Chloe.

Chloe: Jana? Where is Kevin?

Jana: Oh, he's right here with me.

Kevin: The preschool near the train station!

Jana: Did you get that? We're at the abandoned preschool by the train station.

Kevin: Call the police, Chloe!

Jana: I wouldn't do that if I were you, not if you want to see Kevin alive again. You come alone.

Kevin: What are you doing? Leave her out of this, Jana.

Jana: This is gonna be good.

Daniel: I'm just hopin' I can get Lucy out of foster care and bring her back home.

Lily: Your home?

Daniel: No, Billy and Victoria. I mean, do you have any idea how upset they were when she got taken away from them?

Lily: Yeah, but it was hard on you, too.

Daniel: (Sighs) Yeah, I just wanted to grab her out of that woman's arms and hide her, keep her safe. So much for not getting attached, right?

Lily: Daniel, come on. You delivered her, you know? You helped bring her into this world. Of course you're gonna feel some sort of connection.

Daniel: Yeah, but Billy and Victoria, you know, they're the ones that have been taking care of her. They're--they're-- they're her parents. I don't understand how a total stranger can just come into the situation and make a snap judgment like that. You know, they're unfit? I mean, what the hell is that? I get why people need C.P.S. there are kids that need their help, but Lucy wasn't in that situation.

Lily: I know. I get it. I do. I mean, to separate parents and children--it's--it's hard. I mean, it goes against nature. (Sighs) Listen, I hate to do this, okay? But I-I really have to go, so are--are you gonna be okay?

Daniel: Yeah.

Lily: You sure?

Daniel: Yeah. Yeah.

Lily: Okay.

Daniel: Mm-hmm.

Phyllis: Thought you could use this.

Daniel: Thank you.

Phyllis: You're welcome.

Victoria: She's, um, she's--she's so funny. We joke all the time because we named her after "I love Lucy."

Ashley: Oh, did you really?

Victoria: Mm, kind of.

Ashley: (Laughs)

Victoria: (Laughs) Like this morning, I was leaning over to change her, and she stuck both of her fists into my hair.

Ashley: Oh, ouch.

All: (Laugh)

Victoria: And I couldn't pull away, and she just busted up laughing. She's so hysterical.

Ashley: Mm.

Victoria: Sweet little baby.

Ashley: You know what? Uh, just hold on to all those memories, you know? Keep thinking about 'em. Maybe even, I don't know, write one or two down.

Nikki: Yeah, you should.

Ashley: Yeah.

Nikki: It--it'll help you get through this night without her.

(Front door opens)

Ashley: It's gonna be okay.

Billy: Oh, hey. I'm glad y'all are here.

Nikki: Excuse me just a second.

Billy: Though I'm sure you have a few choice words for me.

Ashley: No, I don't, Billy. Not at all. Not right now. I'm sorry, Honey. I'm sorry.

Billy: Um, I-I, uh, brought you brownies. I know it's kind of lame, but I needed something to show you that I love you and I'm sorry and I...

Victoria: I think you need to stay somewhere else tonight.

Kevin: (Sighs) Jana. Jana, put the gun down. If the cops show up and see you holding that, they could shoot you.

Jana: Chloe didn't phone the police. She knows that I'm serious. And if she did, if I'm wrong, then I'll shoot you, and then I'll shoot myself. (Sighs)

Kevin: Let's just leave. Let's just leave, the two of us, before anybody shows up, huh?

Jana: Everything with you is Chloe, Chloe, Chloe. (Breathing heavily) That’s why I have to get rid of her. (Sniffles) I have to free you of this obsession that you have so that we can go back to being the way that we were.

Chloe: Kevin? Kevin? Oh, my God, Kevin!

Kevin: The gun, Chloe! Grab the gun! Grab the gun!

Chloe: No, grab her!

Jana: (Screams)

Chloe: Jana, you're psychotic!

Jana: (Screams) Get off!

Chloe: I have her!

Jana: No! Get off of me!

Lily: I thought there would be a surprise for you here. (Sighs) I guess he's not gonna show...although he said that he would be waiting. (Sighs)

Phyllis: Pretty soon, it could be up to you what happens to Lucy.

Daniel: Mom, I don't want to fight with you anymore.

Phyllis: I'm not fighting with you. I'm fighting for you. There's a difference.

Daniel: (Sighs) I know that's how you see it. I know.

Phyllis: That's how it is. This is not a hypothetical situation anymore. If you get custody of Lucy... you'll be taking care of her 24/7. That could change your perspective. I'm not saying it's going to. It could. You may have doubts about giving up custody to Billy and Victoria. If you do, I want you to know I support you all the way.

Michael: Victoria texted me that she had some questions.

Nikki: She's talking to Billy right now.

Ashley: It might not be the best time.

Billy: We're suffering the same loss. We need each other.

Victoria: I can't even deal with you right now, okay? Because right now, I am reliving everything that I went through with Reed, except I don't know if Lucy’s okay right now. So you just need to go, okay? Just--just go, please, because I don't-- I don't know what I might say to you. I might totally lose it with you. (Sighs)

Billy: Go ahead. Say it. Say what you need to tell me. Say it. Say it. I can take it. Just say it.

Nikki: Billy, I think she just needs a little bit of space.

Ashley: Why don't you come back to Dad's house--?

Billy: I'm not going anywhere else. I'm--

Victoria: Fine, then I am! Okay? Because I can't take this anymore! I can't deal with you right now.

Billy: I lost both of my daughters today. I can't lose you right now. Just... please, just... fine. I'm gonna fix this. I promise you, I will fix this. I'm gonna fix it.

Victoria: Mm. Fix it.

Billy: I'm gonna fix it.

Victoria: (Sighs)

Michael: I'll make sure he's okay.

Ashley: Thanks, Michael. I'm sorry.

Victoria: It's okay. (Sniffles)

(Front door closes)

Victoria: (Sighs)

Nikki: Victor, please call me. Victoria needs you.

Kevin: Chloe, be careful!

Chloe: You know, I will kill you for taking my daughter!

Jana: (Screams)

Chloe: Get up! Come on! You want to fight?!

Jana: (Grunting)

Chloe: You think you gotta take a gun to get a man, huh?! What, are you psychotic? Come on! Fight! Oh, my God.

Jana: (Groans)

Kevin: (Grunts)

Chloe: Oh, my God. Oh, my--Kevin?

Kevin: (Grunts)

Chloe: Kevin, Kevin, Kevin! What's going on, Kevin?

Jana: (Gags)

Chloe: What's wrong? What's wrong with her?

Kevin: Be careful. Be careful. It's a trick! It's a trick, Chloe!
