Victoria: Hey.

Billy: Hey, um, have you seen Delia? She's not in her room.

Victoria: No, yeah, no, she's not in here, but neither--neither is Lucy.

Billy: All right, what's goin' on?

Victoria: Probably just Jana. I mean, she knows how tired we were after Sharon's memorial, so...

Billy: Okay, yeah, so she let us sleep in, but where the hell is everybody?

Victoria: Well, they're downstairs having breakfast. Where else would they be?

Jana: How quickly can you meet me?

Kevin: I don't know. Schedule's pretty tight here today.

Jana: You'll want to make time for this. I have the most wonderful gift for you.

Kevin: Oh, yeah? What's that?

Jana: I know where Daisy and Daniel's baby is.

(Knock on door)

Murphy: Ahh, we come bearing breakfast.

Kay: Good morning.

Victor: Well, what a surprise. My goodness. Then come in.

Kay: (Chuckles) Oh, thank you, my dear.

Victor: Yes, what a su-- hello, Murphy.

Murphy: (Chuckles)

Victor: How the hell are you?

Murphy: I'm good. I'm good.

Victor: All right. That's nice you came by.

Kay: Ahh, yes, here.

Victor: You know, I have a staff in the kitchen that could easily have prepared breakfast for us.

Kay: Yes, yes, but the idea is to take care of you and your family.

Victor: Uh-huh, well, it so happens that I am on my own.

Murphy: Then I hope that you're hungry.

Victor: Ooh.

Kay: Uh, now listen, listen. I-I know we can't make your problems go away, but, uh, we can take your mind off of them for a little while.

Jill: Nikki.

Nikki: Um, I didn't know you were here. I didn't realize that.

Jill: Yeah, I, uh, I had a breakfast meeting. I just thought I would stop by.

Nikki: Really? I would think you'd rather run in the opposite direction.

Jill: Well, normally, I would. But in this case, I wanted to express my condolences. I'm very sorry about Sharon.

Nikki: Oh, well, thank you. We're getting by.

Jill: Well, take care.

Man: Would you care for a refill?

Nikki: Oh, no, I'm fine, thank you.

Man: All right.

Abby: I've got a proposition.

Daniel: I thought you were still mad at me.

Abby: Are you still mad at me? I vote we both get over it.

Daniel: Why?

Abby: Um, hello? Proposition? Let's just escape, okay? Let's escape all this sadness that is hanging over everyone and just go play. Okay, you're not into it. No, whatevs, it's fine. We'll do it another time.

Daniel: No, no. No. You're right. This is a perfect time to get away. Let's go play.

Abby: Really?

Daniel: Really.

Abby: (Giggles)

Daniel: (Growls)

Abby: (Sighs)

Victoria: (Sighs) Uh, Jana's not answering her phone.

Billy: Yeah, that's weird.

Victoria: Yeah, that's weird, but this is also weird. There was a basket of Lucy's laundry over there last night, but they're gone now, and there's nothing in her drawers.

Billy: The monitor's off.

Victoria: What? That's impossible. I-I double-checked last night bef-- what did you find in Jana's--

Billy: It--

Victoria: I mean, was there a note or anything saying where she was taking the girls?

Billy: There's not a note. There's not a note. There's--there's not-- there's not a note, and her drawers and her closet are, uh, cleaned out.

Victoria: Well, what is this? Was it some kind of a plan, or--I--

Billy: I-I don't know, but her car is gone, and she must have taken Lucy's clothes, and she must have turned off this monitor. (Shakes baby monitor)

Victoria: Hold on a second. Where would she do that? Wh-why--why would Jana do something like that?

Chloe: You know, I gotta say, this is kind of nice us hanging out as friends again.

Chance: For now, yes. Well, I mean, you know how you are.

Chloe: Oh?

Chance: Well, I-I'm just-- so is your boyfriend gonna be joining us?

Chloe: Well, look at you-- all evolved and everything.

Chance: Hmm.

Chloe: No, Kevin, uh, he has a meeting.

Chance: Okay, then what can I get for you?

Chloe: Um...   

(Cell phone rings)

Chloe: Ooh. Ooh, actually, you could get me a ride over to Billy's so I could pick up Delia. Hey.

Billy: Uh, you didn't by any chance come by here and pick up Delia or have Jana... (Clears throat) Drop her off to you, did you?

Chloe: Why would I ask Jana-- wait. Back up. Are you telling me that you don't know where Delia is?

Victoria: I'm calling 9-1-1.

Billy: Okay.

Chloe: Billy, what's happening?

Victoria: Hi, yes, I'm calling to report a kidnapping.

Billy: Uh, it's the girls. They're missing.

Chloe: (Sighs) Jana. Oh, my God.

Abby: I think Chicago sounds perfect. We could go to a museum, or--or we could go to Millennium Park. You know what? We could go see a Cubs game if you want.

Daniel: Since when do you like baseball?

Abby: This is about us, not me.

Daniel: Mm, sounds like someone is really desperate to get away.

Abby: I am capable of compromise, thank you.

Daniel: Mm-hmm. Mm.

Abby: And maybe we could just stop at a few boutiques on our way to the stadium.

Daniel: There's my girl. There she is.

Abby: (Chuckles) Yeah, and you are my guy. And... (Clears throat) Excuse me.

Daniel: (Grunts)

Abby: This...

Daniel: Mm.

Abby: This is gonna be a fantastic day.

Daniel: Mm.

Abby: Mm.

Daniel: Mm-hmm.

Abby: (Giggles)

Victoria: Probably about 21 pounds. I don't know.

Chloe: There are cops all over the place. Any news?

Victoria: No, not yet.

Chance: Garrick.

Garrick: You a friend of the family?

Chance: Yeah. (Sighs) Amber Alert?

Garrick: Done, and an A.P.B. with a description of, uh, Jana Fisher and her car. We should probably be prepared for a ransom call.

Billy: I don't think this is about money.

Garrick: Then why do you think she took your kids?

Chloe: I know why she took 'em-- because she's crazy. She's volatile, and she's violent, and she's obsessed with Kevin. Maybe she's gone to Kevin, and he knows where she is.

Jana: Good, Darling. (Chuckles)

Jana: You're here. (Laughs)

Kevin: Hi. Hey. What's with this place? It's like dreary day care. You brought the kids?

Jana: Yeah, well, I'm their nanny. Where I go, they go.

Kevin: Why is Delia in her pajamas?

Jana: Oh, you know kids at that age. No fashion sense.

(Train whistle blows)

(Building rattles)

Kevin: Whoa. (Laughs) Well, that was fun, wasn't it? I guess I know why this place went out of business.

Jana: So don't you want to hear my amazing news about your niece?

(Cell phone rings)

Kevin: Uh, yeah. Hold on. One sec.

Jana: Um, Kevin, this is much more important than any phone call. Off. That's better. (Sighs)

Kevin: Okay. So you said you know where my niece is.

Jana: Without a doubt.

Kevin: All right.

Jana: It's definitely her.

Kevin: Okay, well, don't leave me hanging. Where is she?

Jana: She's right here. It's Lucy. Lucy is Daisy's daughter. She's your niece. So what do you think?

Kevin: Is this-- this a joke?

Jana: I didn't believe it at first, either, but it's true. Do you remember that baby broker?

Kevin: Primrose.

Jana: Yes. Well, there was this other woman named Agnes.

Kevin: Who led you to the baby broker.

Jana: Yes, so, listen. She tracked me down to ask me if I'd discovered where Daisy's baby was yet, and it just so happened that she saw this tiny, little outfit of Lucy's that Victoria was about to give away, and she said that she bought it for Lucy when she gave her away to Prim.

Kevin: Wait, wait, wait. That's your proof?

Jana: No, no, that is what caused me to look through Billy's shredder. Here is my proof. See this? Billy is the person whose bank account we were looking for. You see these numbers right there? Those at the top? They are the exact same numbers that I found in Prim's files.

Kevin: And that's Billy's account?

Jana: He bought Daisy's baby, although I don't-- I don't think that he knows where she came from, because she did go from Daisy to Agnes to Primrose.

Kevin: Wait, so he-- he bought the baby. Billy bought Lucy?

Jana: Yes. Yes. That is why he wanted me to stop my search. Buying a baby illegally-- that is--that is not something that he would want to be public knowledge.

Kevin: She was right under my nose this whole time, and nobody realized it.

Jana: I told you that I'd find her, didn't I? And I did.

Kevin: She's here, and she's safe. Oh, I was so worried that something awful had happened. Thank you so much. Come here. Thank you.

Jana: (Chuckles)

Kevin: Thank you. Oh, thank God.

Jana: Lucy. (Chuckles)

Kevin: Look at you.

Jana: (Laughs)

Kevin: (Chuckles)

Abby: Mm.

Daniel: Thank you.

Abby: Can I get a latte? You know, I think we should spend the night in Chicago.

Daniel: Eh, I don't know.

Abby: Oh, no, come on. It'd be romantic. We'd get a nice, cozy room with a view of the lake.

Daniel: Mm, as tempting as that sounds, I do kind of have some stuff going on here, and I'd like to stick close to home, okay?

Abby: Oh, what a stuff. Daniel, look at that. That's Lucy.

Woman: An Amber Alert has been issued for two young girls

who were abducted overnight from the home of magazine owner William Abbott and his wife Victoria Newman Abbott. The alleged kidnapper, Jana Fisher...

Abby: (Scoffs)

Woman: Was employed as the children's nanny.

Victor: (Sighs) Well, this was wonderful.

Kay: Mm.

Victor: What a great idea.

Kay: (Chuckles)

Victor: So nice.

(Cell phone rings)

Kay: Right on cue. Duty calls. (Chuckles)

Victor: Who the hell is calling me now? Yes, Connie? What?

Murphy: What's wrong?

Victor: Delia and the baby? I'll be right there.

Kay: What about Delia?

Victor: Delia and Victoria's baby have been kidnapped. Oh, my goodness.

Murphy: You should call Esther.

Kay: Oh, my God. Oh.

(Cell phone rings) (Ring)

Nikki: Hello, Victor. What? Jana took the children? What--what are you saying? She kidnapped them?

Victor: You'd better get over to Victoria's right now. She'll need you.

Nikki: Yes. (Stammers) I'm about to, um...

Victor: Nikki, can you hear me?

Nikki: Yes. I-I will call Nicholas and Noah, and I'll get to Victoria's as soon as I can.

Victor: Okay, I'll be right over there.

Nikki: Okay, good. Thanks for the call.

Victor: Excuse me, but I've got to get going. Thank you, Katherine.

Kay: Yes, yes, yes. You go, go, go, go.

Victor: Murphy, so nice of you to do this.

Kay: We'll, uh, we'll let ourselves out.

Victor: We will talk later.

Nikki: Oh, wait, wait. I-I need a pot of coffee right--right away, please. (Sighs)

Chloe: (Sighs)

Chance: What did they find on premises?

Garrick: No leads.

Chloe: (Sighs) Okay, wait, wait. With all of the alerts and--and everything and the bulletins, I mean, somebody must have seen Jana or the car or the kids, right? Right?

Garrick: I'd better get back out there. We'll let you know when we hear anything.

Chloe: (Sighs)

Jill: Billy?

Chloe: (Sniffles)

Jill: Billy, Billy, is it true what I heard on the news?

Billy: Yeah. You didn't have to come, Mom.

Jill: Oh, for God sakes, Billy, my grandchildren are missing. Of course I had to come. I could kill Jana.

Billy: Yeah, well, get in line.

Chloe: (Scoffs) Oh, God. Great. Now you're angry. (Sniffles) Now you're angry!

Billy: Chloe, come on.

Chloe: No, I warned you. I warned the both of you, and neither one of you listened to me. (Sniffles) You didn't listen to a thing I said. I told you that she was unstable, and she shouldn't come near this house, and this is all your fault. This is all your fault! (Sniffles) You did this to Lucy, and you did this to Delia. (Sobs) Come on, defend yourselves. Tell me that I'm overreacting to Jana--that she's just sweet and she's light and she's perfect and she's the greatest nanny.

Chance: Chloe, come on. Come on. Let's save it for later, all right?

Jill: We need to focus if we're gonna find them, okay?

Billy: What do you want, Chloe? Hmm? What do you want?

Chloe: I want my daughter!

Billy: So do I! I do, too.

Victoria: Billy, Billy!

Billy: What is this gonna do us right now? I'll--I'll admit it, okay? I'm wrong. I was wrong. I shouldn't have trusted Jana. But what damn bit of good does that do, huh? Does it make you feel better? Our kids are still gone.

Victoria: I'm so sorry. We're so sorry. We owe you the biggest apology. I never knew that Jana-- I mean, she--she was my friend. I never knew she would do anything like this.

Chloe: Well, congratulations for finally seeing the light.

Billy: Back off of my wife.

Chloe: You should have listened to me. You did this. (Sobs)

Billy: You want to rip into me for my mistakes? You go ahead. I can take it. You can do it all day long, but don't you pretend to be the only parent in this room. Don't act like the only person who's scared to death right now.

Jill: Stop it! You're all talking like they're not coming back.

Chloe: I never said that.

Jill: Well, they are coming back, okay? And when they do, they need us to be calm and reassuring and united, so stop snapping at each other before you say something you're not gonna be able to take back.

Chance: Come here. Come here.

Abby: Victoria, oh, my God. I'm so sorry.

Victoria: Abby, it's okay. It's okay. It'll be okay.

Daniel: What's going on, Man? What have you heard?

Billy: Nothing more than you probably heard on TV.

Daniel: There's gotta be something that we can go on here.

Victoria: (Sighs)

Billy: Daniel, if I knew something, I would have told you. Don't you think I'd tell you?

Chloe: Why isn't Kevin answering his phone?

Chance: Well, you said he had a meeting this morning. Maybe he turned his phone off.

Chloe: No, if I can't find him, then Jana can't find him. Chance, she needs to be able to find him. He is the only one that can talk her down when she goes off the rails.

Chance: Okay, okay. All right, tell you what, I will call Crimson Lights. I will see if I can track Kevin down. How's that?

Chloe: No, no, no. I-I'm gonna do that. Will you just do me a favor?

Chance: Anything.

Chloe: Look, will you just join the search, okay? The cops, I mean, I know they're--they're looking for her, but she's not just any kid to you.

Chance: I'm there.

Chloe: Okay. I'm-- you know what? I'm just gonna walk you out. I'll be right back.

Victor: Hello, Jill.

Billy: So it takes something like this for you to show any interest in your granddaughter, huh? (Scoffs)

Victoria: (Sighs)             

Jana: Well, the universe has a way of putting things right.

Kevin: Yeah, I guess it does.

Jana: So you're pleased?

Kevin: Are you kidding? Now I can actually breathe again.

Jana: (Sighs)

Kevin: (Sighs) I guess the next thing is just figuring out what's best for Lucy.

Jana: There's nothing to figure out. We already know what's best for Lucy.

Kevin: You're absolutely right. I'm gonna call Billy and Victoria.

Jana: (Clears throat)

Kevin: (Sighs) Jana, give me my phone.

Jana: Shh. Lucy does not belong with Billy and Victoria. She belongs with you. She belongs with us, Kevin. Don't you see? That is why I brought her here. (Sighs)

Kay: (Sighs) You know, isn't there enough misery going around lately? First, Cane gets gunned down practically right at your doorstep. Then you took Sharon. (Sighs) Now if this is a test, I'm sick of it. I'm telling you right now, I am sick of it. I mean... if you're planning a reckoning for Jana, I mean... (Chuckles) I can applaud that. I really can. But to take two little babies and--and put them in harm's way? You--you put them in-- in--in danger? And the--the suffering of--of the parents, of--of the grandparents... can't you just get on with it so we can get on with our lives? I mean, my God, is there enough-- yes. My God. My God. Bring those two babies home safely.

Jana: Whoops. You know, this was an icky phone, wasn't it?

Delia: Yeah.

Jana: Yeah. What do we do with icky things?

Delia: Um...

Jana: We get rid of them, don't we?

Kevin: That's right. That's what we do. Hey, Delia? Delia, you want to come play with the ball? Here. You can play with Lucy, but remember, you can't pitch it at her-- not until she's old enough to wear a catcher's mask, okay?

Delia: Okay.

Kevin: Okay, go have a seat. You didn't have to do that. If you didn't want me to make a phone call, I won't make a phone call.

Jana: (Sighs) Kevin, we both know that you would override my wishes in a heartbeat to do what you think is right. But in this case, my love, you'd be making a terrible mistake by contacting the others.

Kevin: Why is that?

Jana: I'll explain later. We have to go now.

Kevin: Where are we going?

Jana: Uh, my car is packed. We can't go to your place. It'd be too risky, so you're gonna have to buy things on the road, okay?

Kevin: Jana, you're movin' just a little fast for me here.

Jana: Well, it's lucky I'm here for you then to help you.

Kevin: Here you go. You want to play with this? Well, you know what would really help me? Um, if we just took a little time to, you know, let me think about all this.

Jana: What is there to think about? Daniel does not want the baby. And he has made it very clear that he's done everything he can to stop people from looking.

Kevin: Well, it might be different now that he knows she's been found, right? And what about Billy and Victoria? They love Lucy.

Jana: They can find themselves another child.

Kevin: What about Delia? She has nothing to do with any of this, Jana.

Jana: I hadn't intended on bringing her, but she toddled into the room when I was leaving with Lucy.

Kevin: Okay, well, then we need to bring her back to her parents.

Jana: No, you-- you know what? I-I actually think it was a sign.

Kevin: A sign of what?

Jana: I think Delia's meant to come with us. Chloe is a terrible person.

Kevin: Jana, she's a great mother.

Jana: How can you say that? She's been arrested twice recently.

Kevin: Extenuating circumstances.

Jana: No, and she bounces from man to man. She went from-- from Billy to Chance and then to you. No. Clearly-- clearly, Delia is much better off without her.

Kevin: Jana, we can't just take her from her parents. Don't you realize how... how impractical that is?

Jana: And don't you realize that we are going to take such good care of these girls together? We're gonna go far away, and we're gonna have a new life with our little family.

Chloe: Kevin, it's me. Chance thinks that maybe you turned your phone off because you're in a meeting, but I-I--it's just not like you. I mean, you always put it on vibrate and text me at least, so, um, I'm just--I'm just hoping that you know what's going on and at least you're trying to bring the girls back. We're so--just-- just call me back, okay? Call me back as soon as you get this.

Esther: Katie, Honey, Del--

Chloe: No.

Esther: Our sweet, little Delia.

Chloe: Mom, its okay. It's okay. We're gonna find her, okay?

Esther: I know. (Sniffles)

Chloe: We have to. She's gonna come back.

Nikki: Oh, Billy.

Billy: Hey, Nikki. Oh, I'm sorry I didn't call. I just--

Nikki: Oh, please, don't even think about it. Victor called me as soon as he heard.

Jill: And you came right over?

Nikki: Yes, I came right over. Uh, why--why do you ask?

Jill: Oh, n-nothing. You were just at the club really close by, and yet, Victor made it here, and he was all the way out at the ranch.

Nikki: I had car trouble. I-I had to take a cab here. Does that meet with your satisfaction?

Jill: Oh, Nikki, I didn't mean anything by it.

Nikki: Where is Victoria?

Victor: What are you looking for, Sweetheart?

Victoria: I was just thinking that maybe Jana left something here. You know, something that wouldn't be significant to the police.

Victor: Let me help you with some of those.

Victoria: It would mean something to me. I don't-- I'm just looking.

Victor: You know that Nicholas and Noah have joined the search?

Victoria: Yeah, that's great. Jack and Ashley have, too.

Victor: Do you know if any reward money has been offered for information?

Victoria: No, I don't. I don't know. (Sighs)

Victor: I used to read to you out of this book.

Nikki: Baby, I'm here.

Victoria: Mama.

Nikki: Oh, Victoria.

Billy: Yeah, Jack, I appreciate everything you're doing, you and Ash. Thank you. I-I'll talk to you later.

Daniel: I saw the news report. I almost lost it.

Billy: Yeah, you and me both, Man.

Daniel: Do you think Jana just finally snapped, or you think that, uh, she figured out who Lucy really is?

Billy: I have no idea. I don't get it. Even if she put together who Lucy is, uh, why take both kids? You know, it doesn't make any sense. What the hell is she trying to do?

Daniel: I don't know. I can't explain Delia, but, you know, Jana's got a thing for Kevin. I mean, she could have taken Lucy thinking she was doing it for him.

Abby: Hey. Hey, I was lookin' everywhere for you two. I-I put a pot of coffee on if you want something.

Daniel: Hey, you know, I'm probably gonna head out and--and join the search.

Abby: You are?

Daniel: Yeah, I think I should go help find Lucy.

Abby: Okay, hey, um, I-I'll go with you.

Daniel: Okay.

Abby: Okay.

Victoria: God, how could I let this happen?

Victor: This didn't just happen. You were betrayed by a woman who broke your trust.

Victoria: No, Dad, I should have been more careful.

Nikki: Stop that. You couldn't be a more devoted mother.

Victor: You just misjudged Jana. That's all.

Victoria: Well, Chloe didn't. Chloe just went off on Billy and me. We should have listened to her. We didn't listen to her.

Nikki: Well, she shouldn't have done that.

Victoria: No, she had every right. What kind of a mother am I? I was asleep at night when these two beautiful girls are stolen from my house.

Victor: You can't blame yourself.

Victoria: What if Jana hurts them? What--

Nikki: Stop, stop, stop.

Victoria: (Sobs) Oh, my God. Oh, my God. (Sobs)

Chloe: (Sighs)

Chloe: (Sniffles) I don't want to hear it.

Jill: (Sighs) What don't you want to hear?

Chloe: Just another lecture not to fight with Billy and Victoria.

Jill: I got you to shut up, didn't I?

Chloe: (Sighs) (sniffles) Yeah, I guess you did.

Jill: Look, sweetie, I'm not known for my grace under pressure, either, okay? But I feel like screaming, too, 'cause they're my grandkids.

Chloe: Jana packed all of Lucy's things, and Delia's things are still here. She left Pinkerton, and Pinkerton is the only thing that protects her from the dark, and Jana knows that.

Jill: Well, yeah, but she was in a hurry, Sweetie. She couldn't take everything.

Chloe: I know. I-I really want to believe that, Jill. I do.

Jill: But what? What are you saying?

Chloe: (Sighs) (Voice breaking) I'm just--I'm really scared... (Sniffles) I'm really scared. Jana hates me so much. I mean, what if she doesn't take care of my little girl? She might hurt her.

Jill: Oh, Sweetheart. Sweetheart, it's all right.

Kevin: (Sighs) You have to know finding my niece is the greatest gift ever.

Jana: You mean that?

Kevin: Yeah. You've been workin' on this for weeks.

Jana: Mm.

Kevin: Following up on clues and details even the cops overlooked. Nobody's ever done anything like that for me before. It's made me realize something.

Jana: What's that? (Sighs)

Kevin: I want to be with you.

Jana: (Laughs) Oh, Kev. Kevin. Kevin, oh. (Laughs) Oh, God, we're gonna have such a good life together, even better than the life we had before. I promise. (Sighs)

Kevin: Before we start that life, we have to bring the girls home.

Jana: I don't understand, though. I mean, we finally have everything that we've wanted, and you just want to give it up?

Kevin: No, no, no. No. All I wanted was to know that my niece was loved and safe, and she is.

Jana: What are you saying? You're saying you don't want to start a family with me?

Kevin: Hey, hey, hey, come here. I'm saying that you have proven to me that nobody will ever love me the way that you do. And I do want to have a family with you, but we don't need somebody else's kids to do that. We can start our own family.

Jana: A baby. (Laughs) A baby of our own?

Kevin: Mm-hmm.

Jana: (Sniffles) Yes. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. Yes.

Kevin: Good. Good, good. But listen, we can't start a family if we're running from the cops, constantly having to hide the kids. So we need to bring them home. Can you do that for me?

Esther: Honey, I know it's getting harder and harder, but we can't give up hope.

Chloe: I won't. I would never give up hoping. My daughter will come back to me. I know.

Murphy: So... did you make any headway with the big guy?

Kay: Let's go home and wait for good news.

Murphy: Okay.

Jana: Go on.

Kevin: Come on, Sweetheart.

Jana: We couldn't risk going back to the house, but the girls should be safe here.

Kevin: Okay, all we have to do now is contact the others. Okay?

Jana: You'll be all right.

Victoria: (Sighs)

Billy: Look, um, this is my fault.

Victoria: (Sniffles) No, this is my fault. It's my fault, too. I'm so angry with myself.
