Reverend Fulton: How is our little star this morning? Yes?

Victoria: Oh, she is good, and she's ready for her big day. Aren't you?

Billy: Yeah, I'm glad somebody is.

Victoria: What?

Billy: Uh, oh, ooh, you know what? Uh, before I forget.

Victoria: Oh, yeah.

Billy: Here we go. Lucy's birth certificate. It's got the little fancy...

Reverend Fulton: Uh-huh.

Victoria: Yep, right there.

Billy: Seal right there. I mean, everything--you know.

Victoria: What? What's wrong? Is everything all right?

Reverend Fulton: We're all set. (Laughs)

Billy: Oh! We're all set.

Victoria: We're all set, yes.

Billy: We're all set.

Victoria: We are so excited. It's like our way of saying thank you to God for giving us our beautiful Lucy.

(Cell phone rings)

Prim: Hello.

Jana: (American accent) Hello, um, yes, I-I-I understand that you help women-- pregnant women.

Prim: How did you get this number?

Jana: Somebody who's very grateful to you, and, uh, who thinks that you can help me, also.

Prim: I only talk in person.

Jana: I can come to you.

Prim: The miniature golf course on Route 9, one hour.

Jana: Oh, God, so soon?

Prim: If you want my help, you'll find a way.

Victoria: Oh, there you are. Binky alert. Do you happen to have another one? Because, uh, I think that she needs one.

Jana: (Normal voice) Oh, yes, always.

Victoria: You are amazing, you know that? You really are. From the way that you take care of Lucy, convincing me to make things right with her dad... I really appreciate it. I wish I could help you and Kevin the same way that you helped me and Billy.

Jana: Oh. (Sighs)

Victoria: (Chuckles)

Jana: Well, they say that the Lord helps those who help themselves.

Victoria: Oh, you really want that binky.

Michael: Miss? Hello?

Daniel: She's not here.

Michael: (Sighs) Where the hell is she?

Kay: (Sighs)

Jack: Katherine, how nice to see you.

Kay: Well, there's a proud Godfather.

Jack: Yeah, I share the job with Nicholas.

Kay: Ahh, well, Lucy's a very lucky girl.

Jack: She is, indeed. She's an Abbott. She's a Newman. Very much like that company Tucker wants to start-- the, uh, Jabot-Beauty of Nature hybrid. Have you talked to him about that?

Kay: Yes, I did, but I made it very clear that I don't approve of his business tactics.

Jack: Well, you have such strong feelings. Perhaps we should join forces and make sure the right people hold on to the right company.

Kay: I'm not going to hurt Victor, not this way. And to be perfectly honest, if I thought you could control Jabot, I would have put you in charge in the first place years ago.

Jill: Lovely morning, all.

Kay: (Clears throat)

Jack: We're not done here, my dear.

Kay: You're wrong about that.

Colin: "Kat," did I detect a spark there, hmm?

Jill: (Laughs)

Colin: You and Jack? That'd be the reason Murph isn't here, right?

Kay: Uh, Murphy is not feeling well, but thank you for your concern and your... sympathy.

Jill: Oh, for heaven's sake. He was joking, Katherine.

Colin: Of course. I am? (Laughs)

Jill: (Laughs)

Colin: Oh, come on. How's about a smile? You just turn the-- and you just--

Kay: Oh, for God sake. Take off.

Jill: (Laughs)

Ashley: Good morning.

Colin: Wonderful day to celebrate family, I believe.

Jill: Oh, that's so true, Darling. Isn't it Tucker?

Tucker: We'll see you inside.

Kay: (Stammers) Ashley, uh, a moment?

Ashley: Um, actually, I want to say hi to Billy and Victoria.

Colin: You ready?

Jill: Whoa. Way to alienate your whole family.

Abby: We're really gonna need to meet soon officially to discuss my position at Beauty of Nature.

Nick: Your position? Vick told me when-- when you guys talked that you were gonna be a silent partner.

Abby: When have you ever known me to be silent ever?

Nick: Look, we don't even have the company yet. Let's get Beauty of Nature, and then we will talk about your position.

Abby: In other words, you need me to get the company, but don't bother you once you have it.

Nick: It's not like that. It's just this is the first I've heard of this, okay?

Abby: (Clears throat)

Nick: I wasn't expecting it. Hi, Traci.

Traci: Hello, Nicholas.

Abby: Hey.

Traci: Abby, Honey. Hi, girl.

Abby: Ohh, it's so good to see you.

Traci: Thank you. It's a special day, isn't it?

Nick: (Chuckles) I think Billy's about to burst.

Traci: (Laughs) Oh, I bet.

Abby: (Chuckles)

Traci: And--and how about you two? I heard your great news about your court win. I know that it's been difficult for everybody, including Victor, so if this brings you all some peace, I'm really happy for you.

Chance: Heather, it's me. Hey, we haven't spoken since... the fire. We need to talk.

Heather: Michael has brought me up to speed on your settlement plans.

Victor: I want you to call a press conference, all right? This was never my intention, but now that it's happening, I want the announcement to be done properly, okay?

Heather: Of course.

Nikki: Oh, Victor. I tried the ranch.

Victor: I'm busy. I'm busy. I'm busy.

Nikki: Your granddaughter is being christened today. Everybody is at the chapel right now.

Victor: If everyone is at the chapel right now, then what the hell are you doing here?

Nikki: Do this for your daughter. Come on. Come with me. Victor, it's a church. Everyone is welcome.

Victor: What do you mean? Just show up uninvited? The children who call me "Intrusive" and "Controlling" and want a billion and a half dollars to soothe the pain they suffered because I'm their father? Are you kidding?

Nikki: Victor, forget about all of that right now. Today is a very special day for Victoria, for our family.

Victor: There's no more family.

Nikki: Yes, we will always be a family.

Victor: No.

Nikki: There is no fight or divorce or lawsuit that will ever change that. If you show up in that chapel today, it will melt Victoria's heart and yours, too.

Victor: Sentimental, saccharine drivel, all right?

Nikki: Uh-huh. I have seen you tear up with Faith. I have seen you throw your head back and laugh at something adorable Summer has done. And I know how much you admire Noah. You are so proud of him. Victor, there is another grandchild coming, just waiting to adore you. Your family will always open themselves up and welcome you back into their hearts even though none of you realize that right now. But if not now, Victor, please just think about this--when?

Victor: Excuse me, my children?

Nikki: When is a better time? Do you think that you can always change things-- make things right?

Victor: My children? My children will be ready to invite me back into their hearts? Are you kidding me? What about me being willing to invite them back into my heart?

Nikki: Victor, we don't have time to argue. I'm just trying to make you--

Heather: Oh, uh, I'm-- I'm sorry. I can come back.

Nikki: No, no, no, no. I-I'm leaving.

Victor: It's all right, Heather.

Nikki: Victor, you know I'm right.

Victor: No, you're not.

Heather: Um, you'll have full press attention later this afternoon.

Victor: Thank you, Heather. Uh, there's some things I need to take care of first, okay?

Daniel: (Sighs) Her clothes are all here. Her toiletries are here. You know, maybe she figured out that the P.I. that you hired was on to her, and--and she took off without any of this stuff. I mean, she could be anywhere by now.

Michael: Or she has no idea, and could be back any second. Now listen, we're this close. We're this close to getting her back behind bars and giving Lauren some peace. Now there's no crib here, so obviously the baby doesn't live here.

Daniel: Yeah, I noticed that. Thanks, Michael.

Michael: Listen to me. We're gonna find out what happened to your daughter, all right? We're gonna get that information out of her, so don't worry.

Michael: Not so fast. Not this time.

Traci: (Laughs) Oh, look at that-- the face of an angel. (Chuckles)

Victoria: I must say, I never thought I'd have a moment like this with my family and my friends and my own little girl.

Billy: Okay, everybody, she is, um, actually smiling on the inside.

All: (Laugh)

Victoria: What? I-I am.

Jana: You know what? I forgot the camera. I must have left it at home.

Billy: Oh, well, hold on. I--no, I-I brought one, so... it's in the front pew. Use that.

Jana: But does yours have video? 'Cause we must-- we must have video. Yes.

Colin: Unh, unh, unh, unh, unh, unh. Got you covered.

Jill: Good, good. You can do the honors then, okay? (Chuckles)

Colin: Yeah, I know a cute face when I see one.

Jana: Wonderful.

Billy: All right, I think it's time to christen my baby.

Victoria: It's time.

Billy: Where is that Reverend? Mwah!

Traci: (Chuckles)

Jack: You know, you and I never finished our conversation about Jabot. That company and I have exactly the same heartbeat.

Kay: What you've got there is an obsession, and that makes you sentimental, myopic, and could do Jabot no favors.

Jack: We would be partners. You could reign me in.

Kay: Jack, that ship has sailed. Now move on with your life.

Abby: But what good is Beauty of Nature? I mean, I just-- I never should have listened to Nick and Victoria. We should have asked for the cash, not some company that I can't even get a job at.

Jack: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Victor has given the three of you Beauty of Nature?

Abby: Um, excuse me. My phone is ringing. (Clears throat)

Jack: Is this a done deal?

Billy: (Stammers) It will be soon enough.

Jack: And you're okay with that?

Billy: I mean, why not? Beauty of Nature was Victoria's baby. Sure.

Jack: Yeah, and Jabot is an Abbott baby, and right now, the cradle is being rocked by Tucker McCall. Has Victoria told you that the two of them are planning to merge the two companies?

Billy: Man, come on. It's not like Victor is going to pay for the arbitration judgment based on his, uh, takin' the company public. And, you know, the only thing that makes sense is to unload Beauty of Nature, so if Tucker over here and Victoria can think of something about Jabot, then--then great.

Jack: The Abbotts get nothing-- not a dime, no control at all.

Billy: Guess what? My wife Victoria... she's an Abbott. And today is about Lucy Abbott. So all business talk-- it's--it takes a back seat, like way over there.

Jill: Wait till you see all the bling that your grandma's gonna get for you, sweet girl.

Victoria: Oh, no.

Jill: (Laughs) It's true.

Victoria: (Laughs)

Billy: Hey, um, make her say hi to Delia.

Victoria: Oh, yeah. Hi, Delia.

Jill: Oh, okay. Turn around here. Turn around. We're gonna talk to Delia, okay?

Victoria: Say, "Hi."

Billy: (Chuckles)

Jill: Can you say, "Hi, Delia"? Here, Honey. Hi, Delia. We wish you could be here, but we know that's a long time for you to sit still.

Victoria: Oh, Baby. But that's okay, because when Reed visits, right? We're gonna have a-a party with Reed and Lucy a-and Delia all together.

Billy: Mm-hmm. And again, she's smiling on the inside.

Victoria: I'm smiling.

Billy: The inside. Yeah, right. Mm-hmm.

Jill: (Laughs)

Colin: These are the great moments, kids-- the joy, the craziness. You don't get a second chance.

Victoria: Oh, Colin, um, have you... in--

Jill: Victoria, um, Colin suffered the worst loss a parent can. That's why he's been so good with me about Cane.

Colin: Yeah, you kind of find yourself battling incoherently at your step-granddaughter's baptism and stuff like that. You know, once you've lost a child, you'll do almost anything to cover it up.

Kay: I really would like to clear up something.

Ashley: Mm-hmm.

Kay: My rescinding my offer to have your wedding at my home...

Ashley: Mm-hmm.

Kay: That has nothing to do with you.

Ashley: My wedding, my fiancé, but nothing to do with me?

Kay: I cannot condone Tucker's ruthless business tactics. I mean, the way he exploited Victors' problems with his children-- your child. Darling, I know you love him. But I seriously urge you to reconsider this marriage.

Ashley: Are you serious?

Kay: Listen to me. Tucker has a... a level of selfishness that worries me for you.

Ashley: (Scoffs) Victor is the most selfish human being I've ever known in my entire life, and yet you chose him over your own son. I mean, how is that even possible?

Jill: Nikki? What are you doing out here?

Michael: So... this where you live now, Daisy? In a motel room. What about the child?

Daisy: What?

Michael: The baby-- your child. You lied about practically everything else, but you didn't fake the pregnancy.

Daisy: No, you're right. Daniel and I made a baby together. Listen, if you want answers, you have to promise to let me go after.

Michael: You fled custody pending a kidnapping trial. No, sadly, you're not leaving, and we're not making any deals.

Daisy: Then I'm not talking.

Jill: The christening's in there, Nikki. You expect them to bring it out here to you? Hmm?

Nikki: I'm just checking my lipstick.

Jill: Oh, well, I wouldn't worry. It's gonna get smudged anyway when you're kissing up to Katherine. Or maybe you were, um...

Nikki: What?

Jill: You were waiting for Victor, weren't you? Honestly. He has a new wife and a new son, okay? If you were standing out here fluffin' your hair waitin' for him, you're gonna be fluffin' forever.

Nikki: Always classy, Jill.

Abby: Okay, let's try this again. When you picture my business card, my title at Beauty of Nature reads...

Nick: You can't expect me to talk about this here.

Abby: (Sighs)

Nick: Look, let's just get the company first. Then we'll worry about the details later.

Abby: As a family.

Nick: Of course. That's how we got here.

Abby: Okay.

Jack: I keep hearing murmurs of "Settlement." We talking cold, hard cash, or something else entirely?

Nick: It's all speculation till my dad makes a move.

Jack: You must have some idea what that move entails.

Nick: Not here. I'm gonna go check on Vick.

Tucker: (Quietly) All right, Jack, it looks like we have a minute for you to give me an update. Are we any closer to getting Beauty of Nature?

Ashley: You know, Victor alienated his own children, and what happened was between them and only them. What Tucker does is business, Katherine, and nothing else.

Kay: And to hell with, uh, morals and ethics and human decency. Now you listen to me. Your father was a brilliant businessman, as sharp as they come. But do you think he would have ever treated people the way that Tucker has? Do you really think your father would approve of you and Tucker?

Ashley: What, being in business together? Maybe not. But he would never turn his back on me over it. He would never sabotage my happiness just because he was disappointed in me. My father was a much better parent than that. (Scoffs)

Billy: All right, ladies and gentlemen, I think it's time that we help my baby say hello to the big man.

(Knocks on altar rail)

(Voices overlapping)

Billy: (Makes silly noises)

Victoria: Well, every morning that I wake up, I can't help thinking how lucky we are to have this beautiful, precious little girl in our lives. And to hold her and have everyone who loves her and us gathered together, it's like the best gift in the whole world.

Reverend Fulton: Do you all understand your sacred responsibility as Godparents? To protect and support Lucy and her parents, to helping guide Lucy as she walks her path with God.

Together: We will.

Reverend Fulton: Of all God's loving gifts...

Jana: (Whispering) Um, you know, Katherine, I'm--

Reverend Fulton: That of a child is the most precious.

Jana: I'm not feeling very well.

Reverend Fulton: It is through children that the hope of the world is ever renewed.

Kay: (Whispering) Well, there's a bug going around, but, uh, do you want me to call a doctor?

Reverend Fulton: It is through love...

Jana: No, no, no, no, no, no. I'll be fine. I just need to go lie down. Uh, will you please...?

Reverend Fulton: That they grow and thrive...

Jana: Apologize to Billy and Victoria for me?

Kay: Yes, yes, of course, for you. You just go and take care of yourself.

Jana: Thank you. Thank you so much.

Victoria: I saw this online, and, um, my heart stopped just for a minute because this is exactly how your dad and I felt from the moment that we held you. Lucy, "You are the poem I dreamed of writing, the masterpiece that I longed to paint. You're the shining star I reached for in my ever-hopeful quest for life fulfilled. You are my child." "Now with all things, I am blessed."

Reverend Fulton: I baptize you in the name of the father and of the son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

All: Amen.

Reverend Fulton: We tried to warm it up.

All: (Laugh)

Jack: Look at her. She's a little firecracker.

Nick: Yeah, just like her mom.

Abby: Uh, just like her aunt.

Nick: Oh.

Billy: All right, all right, all right. Everybody gets credit. Lucy takes after everybody.

Victoria: You feel that, Baby? You're part of something really big and really special now.

Reverend Fulton: The Abbott family and the Newman family, but first and foremost, God's family-- always welcomed, always cherished... (Chuckles) And always loved.

Heather: Victor Newman will tell you what he wants you to know when he wants you to know it, all right?

Heather: Uh... (Chuckles) Is this a good idea? You out in public?

Chance: Well, between the courtroom and all the news blasts, I'm pretty sure people know that I'm alive. Besides, I'm not wearing a nametag, and I'm certainly not spending one more damn second in that room of mine.

Heather: So you're not going back in--into WITSEC. Is that final?

Chance: What is ever final?

Heather: (Sighs) Okay, how about you ponder that finality someplace private and safe?

Chance: Heather, I'm pretty sure the bad guys aren't gonna make a hit on me in public, and especially in broad daylight.

Heather: (Chuckles) That gallows humor is-- is--is really gonna be what keeps you alive outside of witness protection.

Chance: Did you think I would be gone by now? That I would just take off again without talking to you or saying anything at all?

Heather: We have talked.

Chance: Exactly. I said that I loved you, and since then, you haven't returned any of my phone calls. So what is it? I mean, are you just-- are you worried about my safety or your own safety? Or are you just too scared to admit that you don't feel the same?

Heather: I haven't been avoiding you. (Sighs) When Victor Newman is a client, your personal life takes a beating.

Chance: Yes, I'm sure it does, but you know what? You're right here. I'm right here. We're face-to-face. We can talk. No hiding, no-- no doing anything. I mean, if you've been trying to shut me up by not answering me, then--

Heather: No, stop. I had to accept that you were dead.

Chance: Right. Well, and then there was... but he is gone, and I'm here, and it is just us. Heather, tell me that there's a shot. Tell me that, and WITSEC won't even be an issue anymore.

Heather: It really is good to see you out in the world again.

(Camera shutter clicks)

Reverend Fulton: Get this. Cheese.

Colin: Come on, everybody. Say something. This isn't a silent movie.

Billy: You're right. It's not. It's a celebration. Come on. Whoo-hoo!

Nikki: Baby!

Abby: Godmother's prerogative--I get to feed her her bottle.

Billy: Hey, you hear that, Jana? Somebody's tryin' to snake your gig. Where--where is Jana?

Kay: Actually, uh, she wanted me to tell you she wasn't feeling well. She's probably home by now.

Victoria: Oh, okay.

Nikki: You are so good. Oh, yes, you are.

Jana: (Sighs)

Prim: Hello?

Jana: (American accent) Hi, it's me. I'm on my way.

Prim: You're wasting my time.

Jana: No, no, no. P-please, please, please, please. You have to see me. If--if you don't-- if I don't work this out, my life is over.

Prim: Clock's ticking.

Jana: (Sighs) Damn it.

Michael: Was this your first stop, Daisy? Is this where the baby was born? I can check with the hotel manager to see how long you've stayed here. Do you see your daughter? Do you look after her? Was she too much of a liability? Was she a nuisance? Did you at least make sure she was well taken care of?

Daniel: Where's the baby, Daisy? Uh, we noticed there's-- there's--there's no crib here. Is--is she in Canada?

Daisy: (Sighs)

Michael: You want to play tough, Girl? Well, you can play tough back in Genoa City jail. I've got a Canadian judge waiting to sign extradition papers. All right? I'll get the signature, and I'll be back with handcuffs, some Mounties, and a ride to jail. All right.

Daisy: (Sighs)

Michael: Listen, you keep an eye on her, and don't listen to a word she says. It'll all be a pack of lies.

Daniel: Yeah.

Michael: Keep your eyes on her.

Daisy: You delivered the baby in Genoa City, but you never told them? So what do you think? You were there. You held our baby.

Daniel: Yeah, and then you bashed me over the head. I mean, do you have any idea how long I was in the hospital? I'm lucky I can remember my own damn name.

Daisy: But you remember everything now, don't you?

Daniel: You left me on the side of the road for dead in the middle of the winter.

Daisy: Wait, you know the truth, and you didn't tell anyone. Why not?

Daniel: 'Cause I never wanted a baby. You knew that!

Daisy: So you're just gonna pretend like it never happened? Like that she was never born?

Daniel: There's pictures of you pregnant in Canada.

Daisy: Oh, please. It's not that hard to fake a pregnancy.

Jana: (Sighs)

Prim: You're lucky. I was about to leave.

Jana: (American accent) Thank you for seeing me. You're my only hope.

Prim: (Sighs)

Billy: (Sighs) Well... (Clears throat) Jana's on lockdown. The door's shut, windows shut, curtains drawn.

Victoria: Oh, my gosh. I mean, I hope she's okay. I hope it isn't contagious or anything.

Jill: Well, I'd be glad to lend a hand with childcare. And Colin--he's wonderful with Charlie and Matilda. You should see him. They adore him.

Colin: Mm, it's the accent. I mean, babies and hot older women-- they love it.

Jill: Mwah. (Laughs)

Victoria: That's cute.

Kay: Seen any of our friends lately?

Nikki: Oh, yes. Yes, I've been going to meetings. Thank God for them. I wouldn't be here otherwise.

Kay: Oh, thank God.

Jill: You rescinded your offer to have Ashley and Tucker's wedding at the house?

Nikki: Um, we're having a conversation here.

Kay: (Sighs)

Jill: Is that true?

Kay: My son, my house.

Jill: Well, actually, it is my house, too.

Kay: I don't believe in that marriage. It's a mistake, and I will not support it.

Jill: Is there any marriage out there that you approve of?

Kay: Hardly.

Jack: We need to talk about Jabot for a minute.

Ashley: Oh, come on, Jack. Today's about family. Give it a rest.

Jack: So is Jabot, and we're about to lose it forever.

Ashley: Jabot is in very capable hands--mine.

Jack: Not for long. As I hear it, Victor is about to hand Nicholas, Victoria, and Abby Beauty of Nature as their settlement.

Traci: O-okay. I-I don't live and breathe the business, so could someone explain-- what does that have to do with Jabot?

Ashley: Sure. Jack's afraid that Tucker and Victor's children are gonna want to combine Jabot with Beauty of Nature.

Traci: Well, it's kind of an interesting idea.

Jack: Until we're cut out of it completely. Tucker is about to gut our family legacy.

Ashley: Oh, hardly, Jack. He's marrying into it. Jabot will always have an Abbott presence.

Jack: According to Billy, that Abbott presence is going to include his wife now.

Ashley: Of course Victoria is invested in Beauty of Nature. It was part of her settlement. Remember the lawsuit?

Jack: What is wrong with you? Why aren't you seeing things clearly?

Traci: Okay, wait, wait, wait. Because she's being realistic? Jack, nothing's happened yet, and you're in a froth!

Jack: Dad would want one of us to give a damn about Jabot.

Traci: Do not do this now. You know what? Don't do this at all. You can't just invoke Dad's name every time you feel shortchanged.

Jack: (Sighs)

Traci: And do not waste one more moment of this family's time obsessing about who's got their hands on Jabot at any given moment. Jack, it's this obsession, this feud, that stole Colleen from us. I will not let this happen again. Do you hear me? And as far as what Dad would want, he always put the family before business-- always. Grow up, Jack. If you want to be like our father, then you be like our father once and for all.

Victoria: That was because of you, wasn't it? Dad showing up.

Nikki: Victor knows how special this day is for you.

Victoria: Well, no one else saw him.

Nikki: Did you mention it to Billy?

Victoria: Oh, God, no. Are you kidding me? He'd, uh, get all crazy and protective and...

Nikki: Mm-hmm.

Victoria: You know him.

Nikki: Well, Billy and your father are alike in many ways.

Victoria: Don't let Billy hear you say that, whatever you do.

Nikki: (Chuckles) Heaven forbid.

Victoria: (Laughs)

Nikki: But your father was there for you.

Victoria: Yeah, he was. Maybe he's starting to come around.

(Camera shutters click)

Victor: Heather.

Heather: I've, uh, I've done my part. The rest is all you.

Victor: Yeah. Make sure that my children see this, because they are responsible for what is about to happen, okay?

Heather: All right.

Jana: (Sighs) (American accent) I'm so grateful that you're still here. I've heard such wonderful things about you.

Prim: How nice. But what kind of help is it that you need?

Jana: It's about the baby.

Daisy: I'm not gonna just walk back into jail.

Daniel: Hey, calm down.

Chance: That means Heather doesn't have to testify and that she's no longer a target.

Spencer: That doesn't mean you aren't. Payback's a bitch. Now chances are, there's still players out there that want you gone, even higher up than Owen.

Chance: Yeah, I know that.

Abby: About the settlement?

Victoria: When?

Ashley: I guess we're gonna find something out.

Abby: Is this how Dad's gonna do things now? He wants the whole world to know about Beauty of Nature?

Kay: Well, we're about to find out.

Nick: For someone as private as Dad, something about this doesn't feel right.

Victor: Thank you for coming.

Victor: As most of you know, I have created Newman Enterprises from the ground up. A lot of my blood and sweat and tears went into this company. In spite of the rather difficult economic circumstances we find ourselves in right now, Newman Enterprises has thrived. But as with everything in life, there's a time for change.

Abby: Mm. Things change. He just can't say that he lost.

Jack: God forbid, but he sure as hell did lose.

Victor: There has been a lot of speculation in the business community as to what direction I will take the company in.

Nick: Understatement.

Victor: I have devoted a lot of time, a lot of energy, and various components of Newman Enterprises...

Victoria: He's gonna say it.

Billy: Beauty of Nature.

Victor: But now I'm going to turn my attention in a different direction.

Nikki: Oh, he can't let go. He can't let go.

Ashley: Well, the judge didn't give him any choice.

Victor: Newman Enterprises will soon cease to exist as one of the largest privately owned companies in the world. I am taking Newman Enterprises public.

Ashley: Oh, my God.

Kay: Well...

Nikki: Victor, no.

Jack: Son of a...

Billy: He just really...

Abby: (Scoffs)

Tucker: Public.

Jack: As in stock, as in stockholders.

Nikki: He swore he would never...

Victoria: He would rather sell off shares of Newman than to give us what we want.

Billy: Mm-hmm.

Nick: Dad just held a press conference to tell us all to go straight to hell.
