Episode # 9609 ~ Sharon Can't Give Up on Adam

Provided By Suzanne
Proofread By Emma

Paul: (Chuckles) You buyin' the place out?

Nina: Hi! (Laughs) Yes.

Paul: Here, let me get these.

Nina: Well, not everything-- just Chance's favorite cookies and pastries and cheesecake.

Paul: Boy.

Nina: Hey, did you pick up the lasagna?

Paul: Um, yeah, I did.

Nina: Oh, good.

Paul: Gina was wondering who the party was for.

Nina: Well, she'll know soon, once that trial gets under way and Chance comes forward to testify. I just wish it could happen before his birthday.

Paul: I know.

Nina: He's gettin' crazy cooped up in that room.

Paul: You think he'd notice if I just took a samp--

Nina: Yes, I think he would.

Jill: (Sighs) Hi.

Paul: Hey, hi.

Nina: Hi.

Jill: Okay, mission accomplished--I got the books you ordered from Trumble’s, and I got Chance's favorite ribs from Gloworm.

Nina: Oh, wonderful. Thank you. He's gonna be so surprised.

Jill: I know he is. (Sighs)

Chance: (Sighs)

Heather: (Sighs) Oh, my gosh. (Chuckles) The sun's up.

Chance: Is that bad?

Heather: (Sighs) Ph, I didn't mean to stay over.

Chance: You gotta run off to work or something?

Heather: (Sighs) No.

Chance: No? No?

Heather: No. Well, I knew I'd...

Chance: You sure?

Heather: Have to testify, so I took some time off.

Chance: Good.

Heather: Mm.

(Knock on door)

Heather: Oh.

(Door opens)

Chloe: Hello. Surprise! Mom made you very special birthday... waffles. (Clears throat)

Chance: (Chuckles)

Murphy: (Sighs)

Esther: Excuse me, Murphy.

Murphy: (Sighs)

Kay: (Sighs)

Murphy: Something bothering you, Sweetheart?

Kay: Well, I, um, haven't heard back from Nikki, and, well, Victor and this sudden marriage to Diane, it's--it's gotta be a blow.

Murphy: She definitely seemed out of kilter last night. Why don't you go check in on her?

Kay: Well, Honey, this-- this party, um...

Murphy: Oh, no, no. Esther and I will manage till you get back. I'm worried about Nikki myself, so w don't you go ahead?

Kay: Are you sure?

Murphy: Mm-hmm.

Kay: (Chuckles) Thank you. (Sighs) (Sighs)

Murphy: (Sighs)

Nikki: (Sighs)

Nikki: (Groans) (Sighs)

Nikki: (Hits "Delete" button)

Victor: Did Kyle make it to school on time?

Diane: Yes, just barely.

Victor: Good.

Diane: We shouldn't have let him stay up so late last night.

Victor: I know. Well, we'll make an exception. This is for you. These are you credit cards and your bank account authorizations per our prenup.

Diane: Isn't that romantic?

Victor: Well, we are hardly the conventional couple, are we? But I'm happy that you and Kyle are my family now.

Diane: You deserve to be happy, Victor. We all do.

Victor: Are you glad you made that decision?

Diane: I wouldn't have said yes otherwise.

Victor: Mm-hmm.

Diane: It will take some getting used to, though. It happened very quickly.

Victor: Mm-hmm. So you're not surprised that it did happen. You're just surprised it happened so quickly. But does that... well, does it mean that you were expecting to get married to me, or...

Diane: It crossed my mind.

Victor: I certainly hope so.

Diane: (Chuckles)

Sharon: Come on in. She's still napping. She didn't go down that long ago, so I can just bring her to your place when she gets up.

Nick: (Sighs) I'll wait.

Sharon: Fine. I'll go. Text me when you're gone. I'll come back then.

[Sniffs]

Diane: Well, thanks for offering, but I'm looking forward to spending time with him myself. I will keep that in mind. Thanks. I think Jack is having a little trouble adjusting.

Victor: To what? To not having Kyle?

Diane: To you having Kyle, to you being his stepfather. I got the distinct impression that Jack is trying to protect Kyle from having to breathe too much of the same air as you.

Victor: (Laughs) Yeah. I can sympathize.

Diane: Really?

Victor: Well, he was once stepfather to my children. It was... (Sighs) Not an easy pill to swallow.

Diane: It's ironic, isn't it, that two enemies would end up raising each other's sons?

Victor: Yeah, but whatever his faults are-- and there are many-- he did a pretty damn good job with--especially with Nicholas, I think.

Diane: Well, it sounds like you've made peace with it. That's encouraging. Maybe Jack will, too.

Victor: I think, in time, he will acknowledge the fact that I have your son's best interests at heart.

Diane: Oh, speaking of Kyle, I-I really have to go and pick him up.

Victor: Well, I'll come along.

Diane: Do you have time for that?

Victor: You're my new family. I'd love to come along.

Diane: Thank you.

Kay: Nikki, are you in there?

Nikki: Katherine, hi. I'm sorry. I'm just finishing getting dressed. Come on in. Come in.

Kay: Mm-hmm.

Nikki: Well, it's nice of you to come check on me. Were you worried?

Kay: Well, what was your first clue? The dozen phone calls?

Nikki: Did you call? I'm so sorry. I turned my cell off last night to get some rest, and I never did turn it back on.

Kay: I see. Well, did you get any rest? I mean, I pictured you lying awake all night.

Nikki: (Sighs) Because, uh, you thought I would be torturing myself about Victor and Diane?

Kay: Mm-hmm. Are you over it now?

Nikki: No. No. God, no. I mean, it--it--it's a shock, but it's nothing I haven't overcome in the past.

Kay: Mm-hmm. Where's Deacon?

Nikki: I threw his pathetic ass out.

Kay: What?

Nikki: (Sighs) Oh, Katherine, you were so right about him. I-I hate even telling you this. I... (Sighs)

Kay: Come on. Come on. What happened? What happened?

Nikki: He was conspiring with Meggie the whole time. He--he never really lost his own sobriety. It was all an act to encourage me to drink. The day that Victor and I were supposed to elope...

Kay: Right.

Nikki: Victor found me in Deacon's bed. All planned out-- it was all orchestrated by Meggie and Deacon. Can you believe that?

Kay: Oh, God. God God.

Nikki: Even you didn't know how evil he could be.

Kay: No.

Nikki: I-I just-- I want to forget he existed.

Sharon: Her diaper bag's right there.

Nick: You know, you don't have to take off.

Sharon: Well, one of us does.

Nick: Why does it gotta be like this?

Sharon: Are you kidding me, Nick? What do you expect after the way that you treated Adam? You practically blackmail him to leave town.

Nick: He asked me what it would take for you to get custody of Faith back, and I told him.

Sharon: That's right. You laid down the law, didn't you, Nick? How did that feel to be the one in control? You know, you got so fed up with your father controlling everyone's life, you completely cut him out of yours, and then you turn around and you do the same thing to me? You expect me to just forgive you? Guess again!

Chance: (Sighs) You can come in now.

Chloe: You know, there is such a thing as adding insult to injury. I live here.

Chance: (Sighs) Chloe, I thought we'd all moved on past that.

Chloe: Yeah, I-I did. And Heather did, too, with Ronan, the guy that she thought that killed you. But you apparently want to pick up where you left off.

Chance: Chloe, it's not like that, okay? I have been going stir-crazy, living in just one room of this house. Heather was just, um, keeping me company.

Chloe: Oh, just killing time then, huh?

Heather: Not that it's any of your business.

Chance: I'm gonna take a shower.

Chloe: Knock yourself out.

Heather: (Chuckles) And, uh, happy birthday. I-I didn't realize.

Chloe: You do know what's going on downstairs, right?

Heather: Yes, of course I do. I was just trying to throw him off the tracks. Nina called me yesterday and told me all about the party.

Chloe: Okay, well, then if I were you, I would go down the back and come in through the front door, unless you want to flaunt that you've been "Just keeping Chance company."

Heather: (Sighs)

Paul: Well, that's quite a "Landscaping" crew you have outside.

Nina: (Laughs) Yes.

Jill: I know, and they're all armed.

Nina: Cricket arranged for extra security.

Phillip: So we don't have to worry about surprise visitors while Chance is downstairs.

Paul: So tell me, are you wrapping each book individually?

Nina: Yes. It gives him more to open. Don't tease me.

Paul: (Chuckles)

Nina: I always make a fuss over his birthday. Kinda counterbalance the fact that I couldn't do anything for my other son and his. I thought that was gonna change this year, but once again, I have no idea where he is or even if he's alive. Uh, we don't even know if the liver transplant took.

Paul: Hey, hey, hey, hey.

Nina: He could be gone by now. I--

Paul: You know something? If that were the case, somebody would have found a way to get to you.

Nina: But it's just like when Chance was in Iraq, you know? Just... I'm on edge. And I-I dread the unexpected knock at the door.

(Knock on door)

Phillip: Uh, that's-- that's nobody unexpected because of all the security, right?

Paul: Yeah. Ah!

Heather: Hi.

Paul: You made it.

Heather: Hey. Yes. Of course.

Paul: Good.

Heather: It smells good in here.

Esther: (Chuckles)

Heather: Chance is gonna love this.

Nina: So have you talked to him today? Does he know anything?

Heather: Mm, he's-- he's clueless.

Esther: Yeah, we're just about ready.

Phillip: Isn't Chloe coming?

Jill: Well, she knows about it. I told her.

Murphy: (Clears throat) Katherine is not back yet.

Kay: When I see Deacon again, I swear--

Nikki: No, Katherine. Katherine, don't waste your energies. I was the idiot.

Kay: Well, for one thing, you shouldn't be here on your own.

Nikki: (Sighs) I'm okay. Listen, I know what you're thinking, and I'd be lying if I said I haven't been tempted to drink. (Sighs) But, damn it, drinking is the reason why I even got into this mess. I was so desperate and lonely that I just-- I-I didn't see the red flags. And he knew exactly which buttons to push.

(Cell phone rings)

Kay: Oh, hold on.

Nikki: (Sniffles) (Ring)

Kay: What, what, what? Uh, yes, Murphy? (Clears throat) Yes, Dear, I found her. Start without me. Right.

Nikki: What is he starting without you?

Kay: Uh, what?

Nikki: What is he starting without you--Murphy?

Kay: Well, it's just sort of a get-together party that we're...

Nikki: Well, that's fine. Um, don't worry about me. I'm actually getting ready to go to a meeting, as soon as I get some decent coffee. (Sniffles)

Kay: Nikki, now I'm telling you, you call me anytime, day or night. Do you understand?

Nikki: Yes, I know I can. And I love you for that. Thank you.

Kay: That's a promise.

Nikki: Don't worry. You go on. You go home. It's fine. (Sniffles)

Kay: Oh, now listen.

Nikki: Oh, your coat. Here's your coat.

Kay: Oh. Oh, gosh, yes. Um, I want you to call your sponsor.

Nikki: Don't worry. I've got it. I've got it together.

Kay: Go to the evening meeting, you know? Well, promise me you will.

Nikki: I promise. I love you.

Kay: All right, and I-I'll call you later.

Nikki: Okay. (Sighs)

Nick: Okay, you've made your point. Somehow, me telling Adam to get lost is the same thing as one of my dad's manipulative schemes.

Sharon: I thought that it was your dad who was behind all of this. Both of you have used Adam’s love for me to force him to follow orders.

Nick: There is a difference between my dad threatening to let you go to prison and me trying to keep my daughter safe from a seriously disturbed individual.

Sharon: Taking Faith was horrible. It was cruel. But she was never harmed, Nick. She was always in good hands. She was always with someone who loved her.

Nick: Oh, well, I'm so glad you and Adam have this all worked out.

Sharon: He's sick about it!

Nick: Yeah, well, so am I! I will never be okay with what he did, or that he is so close to my little girl, so stop pushing it.

Sharon: What good would it do me to push? You got your way. You made your deal, and you know what? You damn well better stick to it. Adam is out of my life now, and he's out of Faith's, so you go to the judge, and you withdraw that petition for custody.

Diane: I'm glad you've come back to the ranch.

Victor: You know, that's the best wedding present you could have given your mother.

Kyle: You know, it's kind of funny to go from not having Dad around at all...

Victor: Uh-huh.

Kyle: To having two.

Victor: Well...

Kyle: Sort of.

Victor: I think you're lucky. I'm glad you feel that way. And I want you to consider my ranch your home. We should talk about your room.

Kyle: What about it?

Victor: Well, it looks a little bit too much like a guest room. Why don't you--whatever you want to do to it to make it your own.

Diane: No, wait.

Victor: What?

Diane: No spoiling my son.

Victor: I'm not spoiling him.

Diane: That's my job.

Kyle: I don't know, Mom. I think he might be better at it than you.

Victor: You know something? I think you're right. In fact, I know I am.

Diane: (Laughs)

Kyle: (Laughs)

Kyle: It's good for you.

Victor: It's very good for you. And I forget where I read it, but it is.

Nikki: Well, hello, Victor, Diane. Kyle, I-I don't know if you remember me.

Diane: This is Nikki, Sweetheart, Summer's grandma.

Kyle: Oh, hi.

Nikki: Hi. Um, I-I didn't get a chance to congratulate you last night. I understand you dispensed with a lot of the formalities.

Diane: Mm, yes, we kept our wedding sweet and simple.

Victor: I-I just didn't want to complicate things. That's all.

Nikki: Well, I'm sure you're both grateful to have each other.

Victor: Thank you.

Diane: Thank you. That's nice. Everyone's been so kind. They must know that the old saying is true-- "Love is even lovelier the second time around."

Victor: (Sighs)

Chance: (Chuckles)

Chloe: So... (Clears throat) What is the deal, really? Am I supposed to believe that the guy who was waiting for marriage has turned into this playboy user?

Chance: That's right, Chloe. You ruined me for all other women.

Chloe: The sarcasm is new, too.

Chance: Well, it's been a rough couple of months. Perhaps you've noticed. I joined the force. (Sighs) Half of them turned out to be dirty. Met my long-lost brother. He just wanted, uh, half my liver. And the biggest disappointment of all was me, because of the way I treated you. Of course, now that you've eaten my birthday waffles, I guess we can call that we're squared away.

Chloe: Hmm. Where did those witness protection people send you? You know? I mean, somewhere very bleak and depressing. I would recommend that you would have gone to, uh, I don't know, like, California, Hawaii... (Chuckles) Someplace where you could relax, get all Zen, sit in the sun.

Chance: Chloe, I was in California. But if you actually listened to someone else's problems besides just worrying about your own, you would have remembered that.

Chloe: (Sighs) So, uh, are you gonna go back?

Chance: They want me to.

Chloe: What do you want?

(Cell phone alert chimes)

Chance: It's Katherine. She wants to see me downstairs.

Chloe: Oh, uh, yeah. Well, uh, y-you know, she can't come upstairs. She, uh, she, like, sprained her ankle this morning, so...

Chance: Well, I guess I'll just have to go down there to see her.

Chloe: Mm-hmm.

Nina: That's very pretty.

Esther: Shh! Shh! Shh! He's coming. Shh, shh, shh!

Nina: Oh, okay. Shh! Shh, shh, shh, shh, shh.

Esther: He's coming.

Kay: Oh.

Chance: What is going on down here?

All: Surprise!

Kay: Happy birthday!

Nina: Happy birthday!

Kay: Happy birthday! Yay!

Nina: You couldn't get out to the city, so we brought the best of Genoa City to you.

Jill: (Chuckles)

Phillip: The best food, your favorite foods.

Jill: And your favorite people.

Chance: You guys thought of everything. (Chuckles)

Nina: (Laughs)

Chance: Wait, that's my favorite game. That's the one from the arcade--

Nina: Mm-hmm.

Chance: Is that staying here?

Kay: No.

All: (Laugh)

Chance: Oh, come on, Kay. Come on. Just give it a chance. You're gonna learn to love it. (Chuckles)

Nina: (Chuckles)

Chance: Heather.

Heather: Hey.

Chance: Hi. It's nice that you could come over.

Heather: Of C--oh, hey, I-I never say no to Gina’s lasagna.

Chloe: (Chuckles) You never say no. Period.

Paul: Hey, uh, let's eat.

Jill: Um, Chloe, let's just--

Paul: Food?

Heather: Yeah, good idea.

Chloe: Yeah.

(Voices overlapping)

Jill: That's mine.

Kay: Well, she makes the best lasagna.

Paul: Um, I gotta go. It's a work thing.

Nina: You're serious?

Paul: It won't be long. I promise.

Nina: Aw.

Paul: Save some, uh, cheesecake for me, okay?

Nina: Okay, I will. Bye.

Paul: All right.

Deacon: I just couldn't leave things the way they were.

Nina: (Laughs)

Chance: Did I tell you about Kay?

Nina: (Laughs)

Esther: (Laughs)

Nina: She's addicted.

Chloe: This is from me.

Chance: Thank you.

Jill: Aw. Look, it's you and Delia.

Chance: (Sighs)

Nina: (Chuckles)

Chance: I didn't know you took that.

Nina: Ohh.

Chloe: You were so engrossed reading that fairy tale.

Nina: Yeah, well, "Hansel and Gretel," it's very intense.

Jill: (Chuckles)

Nina: Adorable.

Chance: Wish I could see her.

Chloe: I know. But she'd never be able to keep the secret.

Phillip: It's good she's with Billy today.

Esther: Maybe once the trial's over.

Chance: Are there, uh, any more ribs left? Did we eat them all?

Heather: Yeah. Yeah. I'll--I'll get you some.

Victor: Kyle, would you like another riding lesson?

Kyle: Yeah.

Victor: Yeah?

Kyle: Uh, when?

Victor: Well, how about now? You know, springtime is a very busy time on a ranch. If you want to help out as you told me, you better do some riding, okay?

Kyle: Cool.

Victor: Good.

Diane: Go change.

Victor: Do you want to come along?

Diane: I like the idea of the two of you getting to know each other better. Nikki handled herself very well today, I thought. Probably only because Kyle was there. I imagine it'll be a different story when I see her one-on-one.

Victor: If she gives you any trouble, you let me know.

Diane: I can handle Nikki.

Victor: Oh, I think you can. I think you can.

Nikki: I can't believe you would come here.

Deacon: I had to, Nikk. See, I know all the crummy thoughts that are runnin' around in your head right now.

Nikki: Oh, no, no, no. You don't know anything about the thoughts in my head, or you wouldn't show your face here.

Deacon: You're kickin' yourself for trusting me, right? You're mad because you believed that what we had was real. I'm here to tell you it was real. You weren't wrong.

Nikki: Oh, my God. You actually think that you're gonna charm me again?

Deacon: No. No, I don’t. Never, because I've been there. You see, somebody sabotaged my sobriety once. And by the time I figured it out, I'd lost my kids. I lost the woman I loved, and I lost any chance that I ever had at a decent future.

Nikki: And yet, you could turn around and do the same thing to somebody else.

Deacon: (Sighs) Look, I'm not gonna try and explain to you how I sank so low, because, frankly, you know what? Who the hell cares? I'm here for you, because you need to know for your sake that the lying-- it stopped a long time ago. It did. I swear to you. You remember that night at the rehab when I turned in those little liquor bottles? That wasn't supposed to happen. That wasn't part of the plan. They were supposed to go to you. I couldn't do it!

Nikki: Deacon, listen to me! You were in rehab. You hadn't had a drink in years. Just being there was a lie!

Deacon: I know. I know. I just-- I wanted to try and help. I thought if somehow I could-- I could undo what I did... look, I know, all right? I know it's crazy that a guy like me ever thought that I could deserve a woman like you. Th-that's not even the goal anymore. All I want to do is try and make amends.

Nikki: (Scoffs)

Deacon: I just--I just want to try and make it right.

Nick: Once I am convinced that Adam is gone...

Sharon: What is it going to take?

Nick: I will go to the judge and ask him to reinstate custody. Sharon, I want you to spend time with Faith. She needs her mother.

Sharon: I'm worried about the impact that all of this is gonna have on her-- the separation.

Nick: I am, too so we are gonna put her first. We'll make things right.

Sharon: (Sighs) Good, okay? Uh, look, she's gonna need her jacket. It's in the dryer.

Nick: I-I'll get it.

(Knock on door)

Paul: Hi. I have some information r you.

Sharon: (Quietly) Listen, I can't talk right now, okay?

Paul: Okay, call me when you're free then.

Sharon: (Normal voice) But wait, did you find Adam?

Paul: Yeah, uh...

Nick: What? Why are you looking for Adam?

Sharon: I asked him to.

Nick: And you agreed?

Sharon: I need to know that he's all right.

Nick: You're unbelievable. You are actively searching for him at the same time you're asking for custody because he's gone.

Sharon: I didn't lose Faith because of Adam. The judge agreed that he poses no threat to her. The only reason why I lost custody was because of the murder charge, and Adam and I will disprove that, and then I will get my daughter back. There will be nothing you can do about it, Nick!

Faith: (Cries)

Nikki: You think I would accept help from you?

Deacon: Nikki, everything you're feeling, it's my fault. I can't just walk away like this. When you threw me out, I took a room a couple doors down, just in case you started thinking like--

Nikki: In case? In case?! What, in case I started drinking and you could take advantage again?

Deacon: Have you been feelin' like that? Like you want to get drunk?

Nikki: Oh, my God. Oh, no, we are not having this conversation. We're not having any conversation. I want you out of here.

Deacon: Nikki, please, just let me talk to you. Let me--

Nikki: Quiet! You are leaving and staying out of my life, or so help me God, I will have you arrested for harassment, and that would violate your parole now, wouldn't it? Do not think I wouldn't follow through with that. Go!

Sharon: Here it is. It's dry.

Faith: (Babbles)

Nick: Thank you.

Sharon: Bye, Baby. We'll be together again soon, all right? You be good for daddy.

Faith: Bye-bye.

Nick: Bye, Paul.

Sharon: Yeah.

Paul: Nick.

Faith: Bye.

Sharon: Bye, Baby.

Sharon: (Sighs) Sorry about that, Paul. He's just completely unreasonable whenever it comes to Adam.

Paul: I can hardly blame him.

Sharon: (Sighs) Did you find Adam?

Paul: Yeah, he's in Thailand.

Sharon: Thailand?

Paul: Yeah, I tracked him down through T.S.A. records. He flew to Hawaii first, and he was detained in Honolulu because he paid cash for a one-way ticket. That sets off alarms these days.

Sharon: Well, he must be investigating Skye’s death. Why else would he be in Hawaii? Maybe he found a lead there that led him to go to Thailand. Do you know where he's staying?

Paul: He flew into Bangkok. That's all I know.

Sharon: Would you be willing to go there and look for him?

Paul: (Sighs) No.

Sharon: I would go myself, but I can’t. I'm out on bail. I can't leave.

Paul: Yeah. Listen, Sharon. Owen Pomerantz’s trial begins very shortly. I have to be there for my daughter and for Nina. And besides, why would I want to go halfway around the world to try and find somebody that I never want to see again?

Chance: Oh, here we--oh.

Phillip: You're-- you're brilliant at this.

Murphy: Yeah, hey, don’t let Katherine-- don't let Katherine know you beat her record. She'll be crushed.

Chance: Murphy, if there's one thing I am good at, it is keeping a secret.

Esther: I'm going to take these things up to Chance's room.

Nina: Thank you. (Sighs)

Kay: Nina? Nina, is there anything wrong?

Jill: What is it? A post-party letdown?

Nina: No, it's just... does it seem to you like he's trying too hard to have a good time? I mean, maybe this wasn't a good idea.

Heather: No, I mean, I-- I don't think it was the party. I...

Kay: No.

Heather: Chance has been... he's been different since he got back.

Chloe: He's got a lot on his mind.

Kay: Oh, yes, the trial.

Jill: Yeah, but I would think he'd be looking forward to that. I mean, nailing those bastards.

Chloe: It's not just that. It's what happens afterwards. He has to decide if he wants to go back to witness protection.

Phillip: And I want you to hit it. Watch this.

Chance: Oh. Oh. (Scoffs)

Phillip: (Laughs) Uh oh!!

Jill: But I thought once you testified and the criminals were put away, the danger to you would be over.

Paul: Well, unless there are others out there with a score to settle.

Kay: Is that what the authorities are afraid of?

Chance: They can't rule it out.

Jill: (Sighs)

Nina: What are you gonna do?

Chance: I'm not sure.

Esther: Chance? The D.A. is here to see you.

Spencer: Got a birthday present for you. The jury's finally been impaneled, and the trial starts today. You're the first witness up, and they could call you as soon as this afternoon.

Chance: (Sighs)

Man: Mr. Sharpe? I'm Keith Thomas, club manager.

Deacon: Hey, how you doin'?

Keith: I wanted to verify you'll be checking out today.

Deacon: Well, I was actually thinking of extending my stay for a few days.

Keith: That won't be possible.

Deacon: Uh, wh-what? Are you sold out?

Keith: Your presence here is upsetting another of our guests.

Deacon: Okay. I got it.

Deacon: (Sighs)

Nikki: Damn the maid! (Sighs)

Nikki: (Whispers) Come on. (Normal voice) Come on!

Nikki: Yes! (Sighs) (Sniffles) (Sighs)

Nikki: Oh please. (Sighs) Yeah. Right.

Nikki: (Sighs)

Nikki: (Inhales sharply) (Sighs) (Gasps) (Sighs)

Victor: I have something for you.

Diane: What it this?

Victor: It's a wedding gift.

Diane: Oh, Victor. Oh, it's exquisite.

Victor: (Chuckles) I'm so happy you're my wife... again.

Diane: I'm so happy, too.

Nick: Tell me something, you're not gonna drive men crazy when you get older, are you? Say... (High-pitched voice) "No, of course not, Daddy." (Normal voice) That's what I'm talkin' about. I mean, honestly, I have no idea why some women make the choices they make. It's crazy. Hopefully, your mommy...

Faith: Mommy.

Nick: Yeah, hopefully, she'll come to her senses soon.

Sharon: (Sighs) Okay. "Requirements... for an emergency passport." "Regulation photo, expedite fee, and a birth certificate." Where am I going to get a birth certificate?

Next on "The Young and the Restless"...

Kevin: We can't have any contact anymore.

Billy: Angelo. Don't look at her, don't talk to her, and forget her name.

Spencer: The prosecution calls Detective Phillip Chancellor IV.
