Episode # 9584 ~ Jana Confronts Chloe

Provided By Suzanne
Proofread By Emma

Kay: Um, I would have thought you would prefer your coffee at, uh, Crimson Lights.

Chloe: No, that wouldn't be good.

Kay: I also thought a good night's rest might, um, you know, you'd be feeling better about things between you and Kevin. Did he say anything to upset you, Chloe?

Chloe: No. It's just a, uh, a premonition I had or a feeling. I think that things are just gonna end up badly, and I need to trust my instincts. I mean, that's what you always say, right?

Kay: Yeah, Darling, but come on. Now in this case, I would--

(Doorbell rings)

Kay: Oh, God, excuse me. (Sighs)

(Cell phone rings) (Ring)

Chloe: Hi.

Kevin: Hey. I have some good news.

Chloe: What?

Kevin: Well, I would like to see your face when I tell you. Are you at Mrs. C.'s? Can I come over? Great. I just have some stuff to finish up here, and I will see you soon. Bye.

Chloe: (Sighs)

(Front door closes)

Kay: (Sighs)

Chloe: Oh, should I tell Nina that you're here?

Chris: No, actually, I wanted to talk to Katherine about something.

Kay: Mm-hmm.

Chloe: Okay, I'll start another pot of coffee.

Kay: Oh. Oh, thank you for that, but, uh, now we will finish our talk. Hmm?

Chloe: Mm-hmm.

Kevin: Look, Dr. Mason, I know you thought I should wait to tell Jana that we're not married anymore, but you didn't have to live with her. It was too much. Well, she's very upset. That's why I'm calling. I need your advice on how to handle it. Really, really helpful. (Sighs) Hey, I need to take off.

Woman: Uh, there's a major leak in the basement.

Kevin: (Sighs) Okay.

Jack: We still have the invoice for Skye's perfume order?

Phyllis: The--yeah. Right--right here.

Jack: What's the order date?

Phyllis: Um, right there.

Adam: What the hell difference does that make? We don't need another date.

Jack: It's as close as we're gonna get to pinpointing when Skye arrived on the island.

Sharon: But that doesn't matter.

Jack: If we're gonna build an accurate timetable for every move that Victor made--

Adam: Who cares what moves Victor made? We're trying to establish that Skye's death was an accident, Jack.

Jack: Victor did not pull off this scam all by himself. Someone helped him. That means somebody knows something that they're not letting on.

Adam: (Sighs)

Jack: Think about it. Someone on the island burned down Skye's shack after she died. That's not a coincidence. Someone is covering Victor's tracks.

Phyllis: Yeah, and when I find that person, I'm gonna grill them for information-- information that could help you, Sharon.

Adam: So you think that somebody on Victor's payroll is just gonna roll over and help Sharon out?

Phyllis: Well, I'm willing to help Sharon out, so anything's possible, right?

Adam: Let's just focus on what we're supposed to be looking for, and let's not get caught up in our bloodlust to bring Victor down, Jack.

Jack: Coming from you, that's almost funny. Could we please get back to a timeline here? Where's that--here.

Chris: I really can't stay. I just wanted you to know that Ronan's transplant's happening today. A-a donor's been found.

Kay: Oh, my God. Well, I'm on my way. I-I have to grab my purse.

Chris: Okay, I'll meet you at the hospital.

Kay: Okay. Good-bye.

Chloe: Katherine? Katherine? Oh. Jill? I'm sorry about last night. If I seemed cold--

Jill: I understand.

Chloe: No, but, you know, you were just trying to be nice, and I wish that I would have just gotten over--

Jill: Chloe, Chloe, we'll have to continue this later. There's someplace I have to be.

Chloe: All right. Uh...

Kay: Uh, Darling, listen.

(Front door closes)

Kay: I have to run, uh, but, uh, we will talk when I get back. In the meantime, you make no rash decisions, all right?

Chloe: All right. (Sighs)

Chance: (Sighs)

Nina: I'm proud of you. You're risking your life being here.

Chance: You did notice the small army of federal marshals patrolling the halls.

Nina: (Chuckles)

Chance: Mom, there is nothing to worry about.

Nina: Yeah, all right. Just this once, I will take your word for it.

Chance: Hallelujah. A miracle.

Nina: (Laughs)

Chance: Truly.

Nina: It's a good day for 'em.

Ronan: Thanks.

Nina: Should you be up?

Ronan: Uh, I'm fine. I, uh, just wanted to talk to Chance for a second. You know, Paul and Heather are outside if you wanted to say hi.

Nina: All right, well, I'll go, but not for long. I fully intend to hover today, so neither one of you can do anything about it.

Chance: What's up?

Ronan: I just wanted to make sure that you understand that I never would have asked you to do this. I'm still not asking. I haven't treated you like a brother, and you don't owe me a damn thing, especially part of your liver. So if you want to back out of this right now, I wouldn't blame you one bit.

Paul: It's really hard to feel this helpless, isn't it? When you care about someone.

Heather: Yeah.

Paul: That goes doubly true for you today.

Nina: Hey.

Paul: Hi.

Nina: Thanks for being here.

Heather: Hi. Oh, my God, of course.

Paul: (Sighs)

Heather: (Sighs)

Paul: How are the boys?

Nina: They're good. You know, Ronan's tired, but that's going to change.

Paul: Yeah.

Nina: He's about to get a new lease on life. You know, if you hadn't pushed to find out what was wrong with him, we wouldn't be here right now. I will never be able to thank you enough for that.

Heather: Well, let's just hope it--it-- it turns out okay.

Doctor: You must be the family.

Nina: Yeah, I'm their mother.

Doctor Hastings: I'm Ronan's doctor from Boston, Nate Hastings.

Paul: Nate--Nate Hastings?

Nina: Oh, my gosh.

Paul: Olivia's Nate?

Nina: You're her son.

Paul: Oh, that's outrageous.

Nina: (Laughs)

Chloe: Jana? Jana?

Jana: Oh, really, you can't be surprised.

Chloe: Why not?

Jana: Did you really think that I would not confront you... (Sighs) After what I've learned? You running around with my husband pretending to be my friend?!

Chloe: Okay, wait a minute.

Jana: Kevin told me.

Chloe: Did he not fill you in on the part about your not being married anymore?

Jana: Yes, he did. But I cannot believe it. I-I do not believe any of this. (Sighs)

Paul: I worked with your father forever.

Dr. Hastings: I remember.

Nina: (Laughs)

Paul: This is my daughter Heather.

Heather: Hi.

Dr. Hastings: Hi. Nice meeting you.

Heather: Nice to meet you.

Paul: So Dr. Hastings is Olivia’s son, Lily's cousin.

Heather: Uh, that--amazing.

Nina: So I guess, um, you heard about Cane and...

Dr. Hastings: I-I haven't been able to talk to Lily yet. Uh, I'd been hoping to finally meet Cane this trip.

Heather: The situation is unbelievably sad.

Dr. Hastings: Yeah, well, her family will help her through it. Mom's on her way. I'm headed over after the surgery.

Nina: Good.

Paul: So Olivia told me that you were a surgeon. I just didn't have any idea that this was your specialty.

Dr. Hastings: I did a second residency in rheumatology. I'm fascinated with rare diseases, medical mysteries.

Nina: Oh, well, what you'd expect from the son of a doctor and a detective.

Paul: (Chuckles) Yeah.

Chris: Oh, no. I missed the reunion. Hey.

Nina: This is Christine Blair. She works for the department of justice, and she knows everything.

Dr. Hastings: Oh, you're Christine. Yeah, thank you for expediting the hospital privileges and the trip.

Chris: Absolutely. No problems?

Dr. Hastings: Oh, well, with the federal marshal escort from the airport, no. No problems.

Nina: So I've got some questions about the surgeries.

Dr. Hastings: All right, well, I'm happy to answer those. I just want to check in with your sons first.

Nina: Oh, okay. Thank you.

Ronan: I'm aware of the risk that you're taking, and I'm not comfortable with it.

Chance: Well, then let me just put your mind at ease. I'm not doing this for you, all right? I see this as my golden opportunity to ensure that I am gonna be Mom's favorite son.

Ronan: I'm being serious, Chance.

Chance: Fine. Seriously, Ronan, there was never a question of what I had to do. You and I have put Mom through enough, don't you think?

Ronan: Dr. Hastings. This is my brother Chance.

Chance: It's good to meet you.

Dr. Hastings: Good to meet you.

Chance: So... (Sighs) Doc, are we ready to roll?

Dr. Hastings: I've got a couple more things to check off my list first. Have you, uh, met with the transplant counselor?

Chance: Yeah.

Dr. Hastings: All right, do you have any questions or concerns about the surgery?

Chance: No.

Dr. Hastings: And you're certain you wish to proceed?

Chance: I wouldn't have it any other way.

Jill: Thank you. Katherine, what are you doing here?

Kay: Same thing as you are.

Jill: So they told you.

Kay: Yes.

Jill: (Sighs) Isn't this amazing? I mean, talk about echoes of the past. This is the same place where Phillip brought us to explain why he'd let us think he was dead, and now we're gonna see his son risen from the ashes.

Kay: (Chuckles)

Jill: At least you are. I saw him last night.

Kay: You did?

Jill: Yes, at the house. I would have told you, but we were never alone together.

Kay: No, no, it's all right. Oh, my God, I've been praying for the Chance to see him for months, and, uh, one more day is not gonna make a difference.

Jill: You've been praying to see Chance for months?

Kay: Mm.

Jill: For months? How long have you known he was alive?

Kay: Soon after the funeral.

Jill: And you never said a word to me?

Phyllis: Okay, um, what do we have here? The guy at the convenience store-- what's his name?

Sharon and Jack: Koa.

Phyllis: Yeah, I think he's part of this conspiracy.

Sharon: Well, he wouldn't admit that Skye had a P.O. box there, even though we know she did.

Jack: When I was there, without my ever telling him, he knew my name and what I was doin' there.

Adam: Well, and that was after Skye's death, right? So, I mean, his connection wasn't just through her. He would have had to either contact Victor directly, or there was a-a middleman somewhere that got her to the safe house, right?

Jack: Wait a minute. Wait a minute. That's something we haven't thought about--a middleman, someone on the island he could have made arrangements with.

Phyllis: What about the pilot of the Newman jet?

Jack: Oh, we are definitely gonna talk to him. Sharon, you can do the questioning.

Adam: Yeah, I wouldn't count on that. Victor has ways of guaranteeing loyalty and silence.

Sharon: I just-- I-I hate to think that Victor would do that, that he would keep someone from coming forward with information that could keep me out of prison.

Phyllis: That's Victor. He sets things in motion all the time that affect innocent people-- my daughter, Colleen. He sent his pregnant daughter to jail. Did you think you were exempt? The princess on a pedestal? You should lose that vision of yourself. Victor has.

Chloe: I'm sure this was a huge shock finding out everything at once, and I'm not sure how Kevin really filled you in on the order of events, but you guys were divorced a long while.

Jana: (Sighs)

Chloe: Way before he even hinted that he was interested in me.

Jana: Yeah, but I'm sure you were working on him long before then, weren't you?

Chloe: (Scoffs) Working on him?

Jana: Yes. We all know how you operate, Chloe. Cane just walked right into your trap, and I know that you stalked Billy.

Chloe: I did not stalk or trap Kevin. He actually pursued me, and I'm sorry if that--

Jana: (Scoffs)

Chloe: I'm sorry. Does that hurt your feelings? I'm sorry if it does, but it's the truth. I happen to think that it was a bad idea.

Jana: Well, and you know what? You were right! It is. It's a--it's a bad idea for anyone to ever get involved with you because they have all lived to regret it. (Gasps) Oh, God. Whoops, I'm sorry. I mean, those who have lived.

Chloe: You did not just say that.

Jana: I did. Look at you. You're the kiss of death, aren't you, Chloe? Cane is gone. Chance is gone, and we all know that Billy was on the path to destruction. Thank God Victoria came and saved him.

Chloe: I am not responsible for that, and they made their own choices.

Jana: Well, then you know what? You make this choice now and you protect him, and you set Kevin free.

Chloe: Get out of my house right now. Get out of my house!

Jana: I will. (Sighs) I swear, if anything happens to him, I will hold you responsible.

Chloe: Get out of my house, you freak, and go play with your little Ouija board.

Jana: Yeah, I will.

Chloe: Get out!

Jill: You know everything I went through when I thought Chance was dead, and you sat by and let me suffer like that?

Kay: (Sighs) Oh, Jill, for heaven's sakes. It was--I was sworn to secrecy. Even old Murphy didn't know.

Jill: Oh, Murphy. For God sake. Murphy has no connection to Chance...

Kay: (Sighs)

Jill: And neither do you, by the way. I'm his grandmother.

Kay: Don't you remember back when, huh? I was in the hospital. I had collapsed. It was all the stress. That's the only reason Christine--

Jill: Oh, Christine. (Chuckles) Oh, God, you know, maybe I should have made a big production out of my grief, too. Maybe I should have wailed and moaned and maybe fainted. But I was busy being strong, trying to support you and Phillip and Nina. I thought we were pulling as a family. I should have known I was being excluded one more time.

Kay: Oh, for heaven's sakes. Stop it!

Jill: (Sighs)

Kay: Stop trying to make this about you. There's a lot more important things going on here.

Nina: Thank you. Thank you.

Jill: Everyone knew but me?

Kay: Oh, Jill.

Nina: I have just recently told Paul.

Heather: I-I had suspicions and--and found out for myself.

Jill: Well, I'm his grandmother, and I had a right to know.

Kay: Oh, stop.

Nina: Jill, please, don't be hurt, all right? I mean, I had just lost Chance. I couldn't take any risks, not even tiny ones. I couldn't--I couldn't bear to lose him again. You of anybody else here knows that better.

Dr. Hastings: I'm ready to answer your questions.

Nina: Oh, wonderful. Listen, first, though, I'd like you to meet Chance's grandmother. This is Jill Fenmore. This is Katherine Chancellor. And this is the gentleman who's doing the surgery. It's Nate Hastings.

Kay: You can't be serious.

Jill: Little Nate.

Chris: That is little Nate all grown up, yeah.

Heather: And a renowned expert in amyloidosis.

Paul: Well, it's like a sign.

Kay: (Chuckles) It's a good sign.

Paul: An omen, yeah.

Kay: Well, it's a good omen.

Chris: Can you give everyone a basic explanation of what you'll be doing in surgery?

Dr. Hastings: Yeah, we're going to, uh, separate the two lobes of Chance's liver and give one to Ronan. Now over time, each lobe should regenerate into a healthy, fully functioning liver.

Paul: That's amazing.

Heather: From what I've read, it--it requires a team of surgeons and--and 6 to 12 hours in the O.R.

Dr. Hastings: Yeah, the procedure's only been developed very recently. It's cutting-edge.

Kay: My God, it sounds like a lot of things could go wrong.

Dr. Hastings: Uh, no surgery is risk-free. The main concern we'll have is whether Ronan's immune system will accept the new liver.

Nina: And if it doesn't, Chance will have risked his life for his brother, and s-still not have saved him.

Paul: It's gonna be fine.

Chris: No, wait. ..

Ronan: Thank you.

Chris: (Sighs) So, uh, I owe you an apology.

Ronan: For firing me?

Chris: For telling Chance that you needed the transplant without your permission.

Ronan: Kind of like when I told Heather about Chance without your permission.

Chris: No, wait. I'm not saying that I would do anything differently.

Ronan: Neither am I.

Chris: Sometimes you just have to make a judgment call.

Ronan: I know, which is what I had to do.

Chris: So do you accept my apology or not?

Ronan: Mm-hmm. I do. But... if I were your boss, I wouldn't have fired you the way you did me.

Chris: (Sighs)

Ronan: You do realize that this is the last time that you could see me alive, right?

Chris: (Scoffs) Okay, fine. You can have your job back, but you have to survive the surgery first.

Ronan: Piece of cake.

Kay: I heard you were lurking around my house last night.

Chance: Yes, and I am sorry that I did not say hello.

Kay: Mm-hmm. I so wish we had more time.

Chance: Yeah.

Kay: I'd fill you in on all of the drama that you've missed.

Chance: Ha.

Kay: Uh, some of it makes me wish I'd gone into hiding with you. (Chuckles)

Chance: I would have loved the company.

Kay: Ah!

Chance: What?

Kay: A reminder of the house.

Chance: Hmm?

Kay: Ahh, yes. I don't know how I ever got it through, uh, security.

Chance: Wait, are-- are these--

Kay: Esther's--Esther’s-- Esther’s snickerdoodles, yes.

Chance: These are-- oh, I love you. I love you. Can I--

Kay: No. Unh, unh, unh.

Chance: What?

Kay: For after surgery. That way, I know you're not gonna take off again without saying good-bye.

Chance: (Chuckles) Don't worry. You'll see me again.

Dr. Hastings: All right, O.R.'s nearly ready. We'll get started soon.

Heather: Let's wish them luck.

Nina: Thank you for bending the rules.

Chris: Oh, it's the least I could do. After what I put you through for all those months, keeping Ronan's identity a secret...

Nina: You were just doin' your job.

Chris: I know. I still regret that I couldn't tell you who he was.

Nina: I really regret the things I said to you.

Chris: Who could have blamed you? I don’t.

Nina: I do trust you, okay? I'm gonna go see my boys.

Chris: Okay.

Paul: I'll give you some time. I'll be right there, okay?

Nina: Okay, thank you.

Paul: You know what? I'm grateful, too.

Chris: For Heather and Ronan?

Paul: For Nina and me. If you hadn't have stopped me, uh, last time you were here, I might have done something that would have ruined what she and I have. Believe me, the temptation was there.

Chris: For me, too. Nina needs you. I... you guys are good together.

(Front door closes)

Kevin: (Sighs) So... I told her. Jana knows everything-- that we're divorced, that you and I are together.

Chloe: She didn't take it well.

Kevin: No, but it's not like her head exploded or anything. She'll survive. You know what? Not my priority anymore, because ever since I told her, all I could think about was coming over here and doing this.

Chloe: Don’t.

Kevin: Oh, is Delia here?

Chloe: No. No.

Kevin: Is anybody here?

Chloe: No.

Kevin: So we have complete privacy. Is that what you're telling me?

Chloe: Stop. Please stop.

Kevin: Wow, what's the matter?

Chloe: It's wrong. I'm wrong for you.

Kevin: Hey, did you not get what I just told you? There is no more obstacles for us. Jana is out of the picture.

Chloe: Well, I should be, too.

Kevin: Hey, what-- what happened to "New Year's Eve girl," huh? "Fuzzy slipper girl." Bring her back.

Chloe: I'm-- I'm just realizing--

Kevin: No, no. You're just scared, because you and I both know that this could be the real deal, and, yes, that's overwhelming, but, Chloe, it's good. It's really good.

Chloe: You know... (Sighs) That is the same speech that Chance gave me when we were together. I mean, I trusted him, and I believed him that everything was gonna be okay. I did that.

Kevin: Chance was a jerk.

Chloe: I know he was, and then I was. And then... and then he got jealous, and then he got killed. And that's what I do. That's--that's all I do. I just make people crazy.

Kevin: Well, yeah, we can agree there.

Chloe: It starts off great. It does. But then it goes really bad. And I don't--I don't know. Jana was right, because I obviously have some sort of curse or something.

Kevin: Whoa. Whoa. Jana?

Chloe: (Sniffles)

Kevin: You talked to Jana.

Chloe: I just don't want to-- I don't want this to end up like every other relationship I have ever had, and the last thing I want to see is you to get hurt.

Kevin: So... you're dumping me to not hurt me?

Chloe: You don't get it. You don't understand.

Kevin: I came over here all excited to be with you. But if the mere fact of being in a relationship turns you into some sort of scared, gutless coward...

Chloe: That's not fair. It--

Kevin: Well, that's what it sounds like.

Chloe: (Sighs)

Kevin: And if that's the case, then you're right. This is not gonna work.

Chloe: (Sighs)

Kevin: (Scoffs)

Chloe: (Sobs)

Kay: Now there is not a thing that you've ever set your mind to that you didn't accomplish. Hmm?

Chance: Mm-hmm.

Kay: So I want you to keep just one thing in your head while you're going under anesthesia.

Chance: Snickerdoodles.

Kay: Precisely. They'll be waiting for you. So will I.

Heather: (Sighs)

Chance: (Sighs) If it helps any, leaving you was the hardest part. I'll tell you what helps me-- seeing that you're doing well.

Heather: (Stammers) If you mean Ronan, I-I--

Chance: It's okay. It's okay.

Heather: (Sighs)

Chance: I want you to live your life and be happy. Ronan, he's, uh, he's a good guy.

Paul: You've been pretty tough on my daughter. What do you say you give her a break? Come through this with flying colors.

Ronan: That's the plan.

Paul: Good.

Jill: Do you realize that between your enlisting and going to Iraq and joining the police force, the only time in your entire adult life I haven't been worried about you is when I thought you were dead?

Chance: (Chuckles)

Jill: And here you are again. Now you're having dangerous surgery.

Chance: Well, I've tried to be boring.

Jill: Oh, try harder, Kid.

Chance: It never works. I think I take too much after my grandmother.

Jill: I love you.

Heather: I'll be here when you get back, but, um, I was up kinda late last night, so if you think you could, uh, shoot more for the 6-hour surgery than the 12...

Ronan: (Chuckles)

Heather: (Chuckles)

Ronan: You know me, though. It's, uh, I'm not too big on committing to things.

Heather: Yeah, I know.

Ronan: Yeah, the lower your expectations, the better with me. It's better not to care too much.

Heather: Now you tell me.

Ronan: (Sighs)

Nina: All the years I prayed that we would be together... this isn't exactly what I had in mind.

Sharon: So you have no idea how to get a hold of him? Okay, if you do hear from him-- thanks. Bye.

Adam: So the pilot that flies my father and Skye to Hawaii suddenly takes an early retirement, huh?

Sharon: Days after Skye's death.

Phyllis: Wow, that's a coincidence.

Jack: May--may-- maybe Nick can help us with Newman H.R.

Adam: No, that's not gonna happen. Those records have been wiped clean. You know it, Jack. I know it. Look, what we need to do is we need to focus on the night that Skye died. What we actually need to do is get to Hawaii.

Sharon: Literally get to Hawaii?

Phyllis: Yeah, we need to talk to Koa. He's the only lead we have.

Sharon: Well, I can't go. I'm out on bail.

Adam: I'll stay here with you then.

Jack: Well, that leaves you and me, Red. (Sighs)

Kevin: (Sighs)

Jana: What's the matter?

Kevin: What did you say to her?

Jana: Who? Oh, Chloe.

Kevin: Yeah, what'd you say?

Jana: I just expressed my hurt and my confusion.

Kevin: Did you tell her that she was cursed?

Jana: (Laughs) What? No. (Sighs) Look, this is all very strange.

Kevin: Yeah, you're tellin' me.

Jana: (Sighs) Kevin, I understand that we are divorced, but in my heart, you are still my husband, and when I see you hurting, I can't help but want to--

Kevin: (Inhales sharply)

Jana: I can't help but want to reach out to you. And I only wish that you'd want to reach out to me, too, 'cause I am so... very lost.

Nina: You grew up under such different circumstances, and so far apart, but you're really alike. You are! You are. I mean, you--you--you both live by a-a code of honor, and you sacrifice for the good of other people. You're... (Chuckles) You were ready to die before you would ask your brother to risk his life.

Ronan: Hmm.

Chance: Stubborn.

Nina: And you-- you didn't hesitate to be here when he needed you, no matter what the cost.

Ronan: He's reckless.

Nina: (Chuckles) I'm so proud, and I want more time with both of you, so please promise me--

Chance: Mom. Mom. Everything's gonna be fine, okay?

Nina: (Sighs) My baby. (Chuckles) Good luck.

Dr. Hastings: It's time.

Nina: (Whispering) Okay. Okay. (Clears throat)

Heather: I'll just be outside.

Chloe: Heather, what are you doing here?

Heather: I-I'm visiting Ronan. Nina must have mentioned that he collapsed, not that you would care.

Chloe: Is that where Katherine is?

Heather: Katherine?

Chloe: Yeah, she left me a message, and she said that she was here. She didn't say why, but I'm looking for her.

Heather: Okay, fine. Well, if I--if I see her, I'll--I'll let her know that you're looking for her.

Chloe: What's going on? Why is everyone being all secretive? It's like some mystery going on or something. And if you and Ronan are in on it, well, then I know that it's bad.

Heather: (Sighs)

Chloe: Is it the drug ring? Are they back? I mean, I-is someone in danger? Is Katherine in danger?

Heather: No, Katherine is not in any danger.

Chloe: Okay, well, then someone must be, because I see that there are security everywhere. So what's going on?

Heather: No. No. (Sighs)

Chloe: You know, the last time that you did this to me, the last time that you shut me out, Chance died.

Heather: (Sighs)

Chloe: Fine. Fine. You're not gonna tell me? Then I will call every single reporter that I know from "Restless Style," and they will be swarming all over this place. You know what? Better yet, I'm gonna call Billy right now. And I'll have him tell--

Heather: Okay, okay, stop-- stop it. All right, I will tell you what's going on. But you can't tell anyone, okay? Ronan... Ronan is having emergency transplant surgery.

Chloe: Okay, then why the code of silence?

Heather: Because... (Sighs) The donor... is Chance.

Jack: All right, we are on the next flight. I gotta call Kyle and tell him what's goin' on.

Phyllis: Okay, I'll have to arrange for Nick to take Summer.

Adam: Guys, don't forget why you're there, okay? It's not about getting the next scoop or getting back at Victor. You just have to find hard evidence exonerating Sharon.

Phyllis: That's right. It's about Sharon. But isn't everything?

Sharon: Adam, maybe you should go with them.

Phyllis: We're fine.

Jack: Not necessary. I got at the truth the last time I was there, didn't I?

Sharon: Yes, you did.

Jack: Then trust us. Come on. Let's go.

Adam: Keep us posted, Lovebirds.

Jack: You bet.

Sharon: Do you think that this is a bad idea?

Adam: No. But I don't think it should be our only idea. We need to explore some other angles.

Kevin: Jana! Enough! Look, I can't be the one to help you through this. The more you lean on me, the less likely you are to move on, and that's what you need to do.

Jana: I don't know if I can get through this without you.

(Knock on door)

Jana: (Sighs)

Kevin: Hi. Thanks for coming. Look who's here. It's Dr. Mason.

Jana: (Scoffs) Oh, God.

Dr. Mason: Hello, Jana.

Kevin: Your timing is perfect. Jana was just saying she needs somebody to help her make sense of everything that's happened. I'll leave you two alone.

Dr. Mason: (Sighs)

Chloe: Chance is alive?

Chris: What is she doing here?

Heather: I told her.

Chris: Heather, you know we're on lockdown.

Heather: I-I know. I-I want her to see him.

Kay: You, um, you take good care of these boys.

Dr. Hastings: Will do.

Jill: Because they're heroes. We need them.

Paul: Ronan. She was just here. You want-- you want me to call her?

Ronan: No. No, it's okay.

Heather: I'm--I'm here. I'm... (Sighs) I'm here. (Sighs) I'm not goin' anywhere.

Nina: All right, listen, we will all be here waiting for you when you wake up, all right? You as good as new, and you all healed. Okay? I love you. I love you.

Chloe: (Gasps)

Jill: It's all right.

Next on "The Young and the Restless"...

Nick: I really hope this works for you, Sharon.

Sharon: If you do really mean that, I could use your help.

Nina: You made it.

Phillip: I'm sorry I didn't get here sooner.

Chloe: Two brothers. (Chuckles) One girl. I've been there. What are you gonna do?
