Kay: (Sighs) Have you seen Murphy?
Woman: No, I haven’t. Just got here a few minutes ago. The booth was empty.
Kay: Oh. Huh.
Woman: This was here with your name on it.
Kay: Huh. It's a donation from Victor. It's odd that it would be just sitting on the counter.
Kay: Murphy, Murphy, Murphy. Where in God's earth are you?
Murphy: (Breathing heavily) Help... me. My... my pills.
Meggie: These pills?
Murphy: Help. (Moans)
Meggie: Oops.
(Pill bottle hits floor)
Murphy: You... you bitch. Ow.
Meggie: Now is that any way to treat a lady? Hmm, hmm, hmm.
Murphy: (Breathing heavily) (Grunts) (Gasps)
Nikki: It's so peaceful here.
Victor: Mm-hmm.
Nikki: As much as I appreciate the staff and everything Meggie does for me, it sure is nice to have the house to ourselves once in a while.
Victor: Mm-hmm. Well, we can easily arrange that.
Nikki: Mm.
Victor: Hmm?
Nikki: I think back to a year ago. I never thought we would get back together.
Victor: Hmm.
Nikki: God, I didn't even know if you would be here.
Victor: Yeah. I'm a lucky man, indeed. (Sighs) I was given a second chance.
Lily: All right, it is insane how much stuff we have for the babies. I am sure that I forgot something.
Cane: Uh, we'll survive.
Lily: And I cannot believe that you guys didn't sleep on our way here.
Cane: Well, they're probably excited to be on vacation.
Lily: (Sighs) And I know that Humphrey is gonna be so mad that we ditched him with Devon.
Cane: (Chuckles) Well, you know, he is a, uh, city dog. I think the last thing he wants is to get eaten by a coyote.
Lily: Wait, where's the formula?
Cane: Well, it's probably in the car. I'll go and get it. Hey, um, thank you. Thanks for taking this trip.
Lily: Of course. I mean, it just took me by surprise, you know? It just kind of came out of nowhere.
Cane: Yeah, it did, huh? Come here. But we need this, you know?
Lily: Yeah. Cane, Lily needs this.
Lily: (Chuckles)
J.T.: Hey, Ashley, Abby.
Abby: Hey.
Ashley: Hi.
J.T.: Hey.
Abby: Hey, did you get my text?
J.T.: Yeah, yeah. Look, sorry I couldn't make the cemetery, you know. It's just... uh, is Traci in town?
Ashley: No, she and Steve decided to stay in New York. They're gonna have a memorial with, uh, Colleen's friends, I guess.
J.T.: Yeah, it's a tough day, huh?
Abby: Yeah. For you, too.
Mac: I can only imagine how much you miss her.
Abby: Yeah, well, she was pretty much the best big sister you could possibly have. For the longest time after Brad and Colleen, I just thought things would never be okay again.
Ashley: Oh, my poor little girl.
Abby: Hey. No, see? That's the thing, Mom. I'm--I'm not a little girl.
Ashley: I know.
Abby: And this year, I promise you, is gonna be nothing like the last.
Jack: Drinkin' alone?
Tucker: Well, not anymore.
Jack: Scotch, neat.
Tucker: So you're not at the cemetery with your niece and Ashley, huh?
Jack: We're gettin' together with Billy later. And I thought Abby could use some time alone with her mother.
Tucker: I had a real nice conversation with my own mother today. Victor filled her in on Victoria and Abby's suit. Katherine outright accused me of being behind it.
Jack: Well, he was never one to mince words.
Tucker: She suspects that you're helping me manipulate the girls against their father. She says if, uh, it's true, she's gonna take Victor's side. So what do you think, Jack? You ready to do battle with both of 'em?
Lily: I wish that Colleen had lived long enough to see Charlie and Mattie. She would have been crazy about you.
Cane: You know, Colleen was your mommy's best friend.
Lily: (Chuckles) You know, before you were even a glimmer in your daddy's eye, Colleen came to me in a dream and she told me that she had a vision that I would beat the cancer and I would hold my own baby in my arms.
Cane: And it came true.
Lily: Twice as true. You know, as hard as it's been, we've had so many miracles. I just can't help but believe that Colleen was watching over us.
Cane: Do you want to call Traci?
Lily: No, I... I left her a message. I mean, when she wants to talk, she'll call me. I'm glad we did this. We needed this.
Cane: (Chuckles)
Lily: Although I have no idea how quickly you pulled this together.
Cane: Oh, you know, it's off-season.
Lily: No, I know, but, I mean, we talked about it this morning, and then it's like as soon as I said yes, we were out the door. That's crazy.
Cane: (Chuckles) Oh, what can I say? I'm impulsive. I, um, I thought we should just come up here today.
Lily: Is that all it is? 'Cause, I mean, you kind of seem jumpy lately.
Cane: (Sighs) Yeah, yeah. I'm--I'm just trying to, um, find some balance. You know, between work and home and family. It's, uh, you know me. I'm an overprotective dad.
Lily: Well, I'm pretty sure they have a 12-step program for that.
Cane: (Chuckles) I don't know if, uh, they'll let me do it with sleep deprivation, though.
Lily: Well, you know, you had a lot to handle when I was sick, but I'm not fragile anymore. I mean, if there's something going on, you can tell me. So, you know, what is it?
Jack: Katherine stands to acquire a good deal of money when you get Beauty of Nature.
Tucker: She doesn't care. She says if I'm behind this, gonna declare war on me. Well... (Sighs) I guess I won't be pickin' out a suit for that family portrait.
Jack: Now why would Victor pull Katherine into this?
Tucker: He's shorin' up his defenses. I'd do the same thing in his position.
Jack: Yeah, clearly he's no ready to settle just yet.
Tucker: Mnh-mnh. What that means is Victor's not worried the lawsuit might force him to go public.
Jack: He can thump his chest all he wants. Once Abby wins her case, he's not gonna have a choice. Beauty of Nature will be ours.
Tucker: Once Abby wins her case? You really think that, Jack? What's that girl's M.O.? She's all about now. Now. Get her, uh, video up on the web now. Get her reality show on TV now. What's gonna happen when she realizes that this could be a battle in the courts for years? That she's not gonna get her money now or any time soon?
Jack: My niece can be a very stubborn young lady.
Tucker: Is that right? Well, it's your job to get her focused so she doesn't change her mind again.
Ashley: It was a year ago that you were hoping that Traci would give Colleen's heart to your father so you wouldn't lose him.
Abby: (Sighs) Yeah. Well, I wish just a little bit of Colleen's humanity had been transplanted with it.
Ashley: So are you sorry that he got her heart?
Abby: I am pissed at Dad. Do I wish he was dead? No.
Ashley: Honey, today's a day when we should be together instead, you and your father are fighting about money, of all stupid things.
Abby: But it's not about money.
Ashley: Okay, look, there has to be another way we can work this out.
Victor: By the way, speaking of second chances, I called Abby earlier. It must be a very emotional day for her.
Nikki: Do you expect her to call you back?
Victor: No. No, I just wanted her to know that her father is thinking of her.
(Front door closes)
Victor: You're back already?
Nikki: Hello.
Meggie: I should had worn a warmer jacket
Victor: Did you give that check to Katherine?
Meggie: No, I couldn't find Mrs. Chancellor, but I did drop it off with her husband. I hope that's all right.
Victor: Sure it's all right. Uh, he called earlier, probably about the check. Thank you.
Nikki: You know, Meggie, why don't you take the rest of the day off? Go enjoy the festival.
Victor: Yeah.
Meggie: I think I'll just stick around here if that's okay. Excuse me.
Victor: All right.
Kay: Murphy! Murphy, are you out here? (Chuckles) You are taking a cat nap in the car! Oh, my God. Murphy? Murphy! Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Murphy. Murphy. Mur--Murphy, can you h Murphy? Murphy. Oh, my-- oh, my God. Hang in there, Darling. Hang in. Please hang in. Shh. Oh I'll get us some help right now. Don't worry. I'll--I'll get it. I'll get it. I'll get it. I'll get it. I'll get it. (Clears throat) My husband is unconscious, and I need an ambulance right away. At the Harvest Festival. Yes, in the parking lot. Hurry, please! Murphy come on, Sweetheart. Come on, breathe for me. Murph, breathe for me. Uh oh!!
Tucker: I wish I shared your optimism about your niece.
Jack: Victoria changes the playing field, Tucker. She does. She's a grown woman. She is not intimidated by Victor, which means she will not walk away from this lawsuit, which means Abby won't, either.
Tucker: Yeah, Victor... he's got a real gift for alienating his kids, doesn't he?
Jack: And now that Abby's of age, she's seeing her father for the world-class bully that he is. If she doesn't stand up to him now, she's in for a lifetime of misery.
Tucker: Yeah, it's a good thing she has you to rely on.
Jack: She does have me.
Tucker: (Chuckles)
Jack: And the entire Abbott family. I am helping her save herself from a world of pain, and she knows how serious the stakes are.
Tucker: No offense, Jack, but I don't think that girl knows what it is to be serious about anything.
Ashley: Okay, this is what my--my concern is, okay? I'm worried that this situation is gonna get incredibly ugly. You know how your father reacts when he feels like he's being pushed against a wall. I don't want to see you get hurt.
Abby: Okay, well, that makes two of us.
Ashley: So please, can't you reconsider?
Abby: Please, please, no more talk about the lawsuit, okay? I love you...
Ashley: (Sighs)
Abby: But I have my own opinion, and I-I have to go.
Ashley: Oh, come on. I didn't want to chase you away. I'm sorry.
Abby: No, you didn’t. You didn’t. I have an appointment. Do you--do you remember how the hospital asked us to donate blood last year?
Ashley: Yeah.
Abby: Well, I've been donating every few months since then. I figured that Colleen was an organ donor, and this is the least I can do.
Ashley: That's so sweet. I had no idea.
Abby: (Chuckles) Well, you know, just keep it to ourselves, okay?
Ashley: Okay. Well, I want to come. I want to donate, Abby.
Abby: They need all the blood they can get.
Ashley: Well, let’s go.
J.T.: "We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness."
Mac: That's familiar. What's that from?
J.T.: Orwell, "1984." Freshman English, you know? I got hit with a-a list of books a mile long. I didn't know how I was gonna get through it.
Mac: Well, you had a lot more important things to worry about, like girls and parties and girls and more girls...
J.T.: Yeah, well, I wouldn't have made it through if it hadn't been for Colleen's tutoring. You know, she, uh, she just made those books come alive. It was--it was great.
Mac: You know, if you want to go out to the cemetery today, we can.
J.T.: You know, cemeteries are depressing, you know? I don't like thinking about Colleen being buried there. She was so full of life, you know? Had passion for everything. (Sighs) She shouldn't have died. Jack and Victor game, and she got caught up in it, an innocent victim. Doesn't make any sense that she's not here. \\
Kay: Uh, hi, it's Katherine. Uh, Murphy's in the hospital.
Nikki: My God. What happened?
Kay: Well, I found him passed out, uh, in--in his car. I-I think it's a heart attack. His pills were on the floor of the car. He probably dropped them.
Nikki: Oh, my God.
Victor: What's the matter?
Nikki: Murphy's just had a heart attack.
Victor: What?
Nikki: Katherine, we were just talking about him. U-um, Meggie just dropped a check off with him a-a little while ago. Yes, yes, of course. I think so, too. Yeah, we're on our way.
Victor: That's horrible.
Nikki: Oh, my God. Meggie?
Victor: Are you serious? Goodness.
Meggie: Yes?
Nikki: Grab your coat.
Victor: Let me help you with this.
Nikki: Katherine Chancellor's husband had a heart attack.
Meggie: Oh, poor man. Mrs. Chancellor must be devastated.
Victor: Okay, let's go.
Nikki: Yeah, if she hadn't gotten to him when she did, he would have died.
Meggie: Well, that's horrible.
Nikki: Come on.
Meggie: Oh, no, I'd just be intruding.
Nikki: No, no, no, no. Katherine wants to talk to you about what happened when you were with him.
Victor: Come on, Darling.
Nikki: Coming.
Cane: Now how did we manage to get them both fed and asleep at the same time? Huh?
Lily: (Sighs) I don't know. But as long as we did...
Cane: (Sighs)
Lily: Can you tell me what's going on?
Cane: I know I haven't been myself. I-I just can't believe it, you know, that we're together, and, um, the babies are healthy, and you're in remission.
Lily: I know. We fought hard to get here. So you might as well enjoy it.
Cane: Yeah, but I'm afraid if I enjoy it, it'll be taken away from me.
Lily: Honey, you can't live in fear. You have to live in the present and believe in the future. That's what Colleen told me in my dream. Listen, I refuse to believe that I'll be sick again, and our twins--they're strong, and they're healthy. I mean, they can't crawl.
Cane: (Chuckles)
Lily: They can't talk back to us. They can't even drive so how much trouble can they really get into? Okay?
Cane: Okay.
Lily: Okay, good. Well, I am gonna take a shower. (Sighs)
Cane: Um, we have a big tub if you want to soak. I'll unpack.
Lily: I knew there was a reason why I married you.
Cane: Mm.
Lily: Thank you.
Cane: (Sighs) (Thump)
Victor: How is he, Katherine?
Kay: Uh, I don't know. They just, uh, took him into his room.
Victor: There's the doctor.
Doctor: Mrs. Chancellor?
Kay: Yes?
Doctor: Your husband has suffered a severe myocardial infarction, and unfortunately, the lack of oxygen in his brain has lead to a stroke.
Kay: A stroke? Oh, God. I-is--is he conscious?
Doctor: Not yet.
Nikki: Katherine, I'm so sorry.
Kay: If only he hadn't have dropped those pills.
Doctor: Do you have any idea how long he was unconscious before you found him?
Kay: No, I don’t. I mean, I-I left him to go and take care of some business. I got back, and he was gone. I looked all over the festival grounds for him, and I... then I found him in his car. That's why I-I needed for you to be here, Meggie.
Meggie: Oh, I-I'm so sorry about your husband.
Kay: Well, see, I was hoping you would help us.
Meggie: I'm afraid I don't know anything.
Victor: But didn't you drop off the check to him?
Meggie: Yes, I did, at the Veterans' booth.
Doctor: Did he look pale, weak, short of breath?
Meggie: He looked fine, happy to get the check.
Kay: What--what-- what time did you see him?
Meggie: I don't know.
Victor: Well, according to this here, he called about 4:25.
Kay: Well, what did he say?
Victor: I think he wanted to thank me. The connection was so bad, I couldn't hear a word.
Kay: Oh, God. If only I hadn't have left him alone.
Nikki: Now, Katherine, there is no way you could have known.
Kay: Uh, may... may I see him?
Doctor: As, uh, as soon as the nurses finish with his vitals.
(Cell phone rings)
Doctor: Excuse me.
Victor: Sweetheart, do you want to sit down, okay?
Kay: Yeah, yeah, please.
Victor: Come sit down.
Nikki: Come sit down, Katherine.
Victor: Here we go, please eat, okay? There we go.
Nikki: When’s the last time you had something to eat?
Victor: (Sighs)
Kay: I'm--I'm not hungry, Nikki. I really am not.
Nikki: Katherine, do you want to end up in the hospital from dehydration and exhaustion?
Kay: (Laughs) Oh, I’ll, I'll share--I'll share a room with, oh, Murphy.
Victor: Katherine.
Nikki: No, no.
Victor: What can I get you to eat?
Kay: A-a-all--all right, a-a sandwich. Anything. It doesn't matter.
Victor: Can I get something for you?
Nikki: Darling, I'd love some coffee. Thank you.
Victor: Okay.
Kay: Well, I'm going to, uh...
(Cell phone rings)
Mac: Hi, Grandma. What's up?
Kay: Uh, sweetheart... (clears throat) By any chance, are you, um, are you going to the festival? Are you at the festival? That's more important. Are you there now?
Mac: Uh, we're just on our way there now. What's goin' on?
Kay: Well, Murphy's had a heart attack.
Mac: Oh, no.
J.T.: What? What happened?
Kay: Uh, well, I-I-I-I-I found him unconscious in his car, and, um, he evidently dropped his medicine, and he wasn't able to take it.
Mac: Where are you now?
Kay: At Memorial. Uh, I left my purse, um, in--in hi--in his car.
Mac: Okay, we can take care of that. Where's the car? (Whispers) Murphy had a heart attack. (Normal voice) We'll be there are soon as we can.
Kay: Thank you.
Nikki: It'll be all right.
Kay: (Sighs) Sure.
Nikki: It'll be all right.
Kay: Oh, sure.
Abby: Okay, let's get out of here. Hospitals creep me out.
Ashley: Okay.
Victor: Well, hello, you two.
Ashley: Hi. I didn't expect to see you here.
Victor: (Sighs) Yeah. I could say the same about you. I've been thinking about you, Abby.
Abby: What are you doing here?
Victor: Murphy had a heart attack.
Ashley: Oh, no.
Abby: What?
Ashley: Is it serious?
Victor: He's in critical condition.
Abby: Is he going to die?
Victor: We don't know that.
Ashley: Oh, I want to see Katherine.
Victor: I'm on the way to pick up something for her, so when I come back, I'll show you in, all right? Boy.
Abby: Today is cursed.
Ashley: Honey, you don't have to come, okay? You can take a cab.
Abby: No, no, I want to stay.
Tucker: Mnh-mnh. Mnh-mnh. You get the next one.
Jack: Thank you.
(Cell phone rings)
Tucker: (Sighs) Hey, Beauty.
Ashley: Hey, I'm at the hospital with Abby.
Tucker: What-- wh-wh-what happened? Is everything all right?
Ashley: No, Murphy's in I.C.U. Tucker, he had a heart attack.
Tucker: Murphy's in the hospital--heart attack.
Ashley: I think you should come here and see Katherine, don't you?
Tucker: Uh, well... (Sighs) I'm truly sorry about Murphy, but, uh, Katherine and I had words earlier. I'm not so sure a visit from me would be welcome.
Ashley: Tucker, honestly. This is the time when you put your bad feelings aside. The day is gonna come, and Katherine’s gonna remember who was here for her and who wasn’t.
Tucker: Well... well, thanks for tellin' me. Bye.
Jack: I'm headin' over there now. You coming?
Mac: Here's the car.
J.T.: Somebody dropped their cell phone. It's Murphy’s. Didn't Katherine say she found him in the driver's seat?
Mac: Yeah. He probably dropped it on the way to the car. The keys are in the ignition.
J.T.: Well, thank God he wasn't driving.
Mac: Can you imagine? Will you grab her purse? Look the door mats are muddy.
Mac: Yeah, here, too. Murphy and Grandma probably tracked it in. What? It's mud.
J.T.: I don't know. Something doesn't seem right about this.
Meggie: I'm gonna grab something at the café. You want anything?
Nikki: Oh, no, thank you, Meggie.
Meggie: I’ll be right back.
Nikki: Okay.
Meggie: Dr. Ananda, I'm sorry I couldn't be more helpful earlier. I was so worried about Murphy. Do you think he'll come out of this?
Dr. Ananda: Um, at this point, I can't answer that.
Meggie: But it is possible he could recover?
Dr. Ananda: The odds are against it, but, yes, there is a possibility he could recover.
Kay: Mm, you were so well I got such a kick out of you clowning around with the people and chatting away and raising money for your charity. I was very proud of you, Murph. But I never thought for a second that you'd never be coming home today. I never thought for a second that we might not have a chance to talk to each other again.
Nikki: Now, Katherine, you're getting way ahead of yourself.
Kay: Mm.
Nikki: This just happened. So we need to give the doctors time to run all the tests they need to assess his situation. All we can do right now, what we should do, is pray that he wakes up soon.
Kay: Yeah, you're right. (Chuckles) Did you hear that, Murph? Huh? Come on. Wake up. Please. Please?
Cane: So what can I do for you, Officer Whitcomb?
Whitcomb: Well, I saw your car and realized the place was rented. Always good to know when folks are in the area. How long you here for?
Cane: A couple nights. You know, I'm, uh, glad you came by. There was a noise earlier I heard and I, uh, I came out. I thought someone was breaking into the place. Hey, listen, I didn't say anything to my wife because I don't want to scare her. But they, uh, they took off...
Whitcomb: Hmm.
Cane: Before I had a chance to see them, so, uh, if you can keep your eye open for me...
Whitcomb: Yeah. Yeah, there's a couple local kids--real troublemakers. I'll talk to 'em.
Cane: Well, here's my card if you see anything.
Whitcomb: All right.
Lily: Hey, who was that?
Cane: Uh, local cop. He stopped by 'cause, uh, he said basically no one really rents the cottages this time of year, so he wanted to check it out.
Lily: Well, at least we'll have the lake to ourselves. That's good.
Cane: So what do you want to do?
Lily: Um, how about when the kids wake up, we can go take a walk on the beach before it gets too cold?
Cane: Sounds good.
Lily: In the meantime...
Cane: Are you thinking what I'm thinking?
Lily: (Laughs)
Cane: Yeah, I was thinking about food.
Lily: Okay.
(Baby cries)
Cane: (Sighs) Its Charlie. I'll get it.
Cane: Okay.
Lily: Well, I’ll play some "Cooking in the kitchen" music. Hey, Cane, where's your player? Aw, that’s sweet. (Chuckles)
Nurse: We can come back later.
Victor: No, no. She'll be out soon.
Jack: Any word on Murphy?
Abby: Uncle Jack.
Jack: Hey.
Tucker: How's Katherine
Victor: She's trying to be strong for Murphy right now.
Ashley: I'm glad you came.
Tucker: If Katherine feels the same.
Jack: Is there anything I can do?
Victor: No, Nikki and I have it covered. Thank you.
Tucker: Nikki's here, too?
Victor: Yes. Katherine called us immediately, and, uh, if we have to, we'll stay here overnight.
Jack: That's the least Victor can do since Katherine stands by him no matter what he does.
Ashley: Jack.
Victor: It's nice to have a loyal friend.
Jack: True friends don't allow you to stand by and act like a jackass.
Victor: You mean you want to get in this right now?
Jack: I don't pressure my friends to choose sides.
Victor: I don't manipulate children to do my dirty work.
Jack: Children--
Abby: Are you guys freaking kidding me right now? We're in the same hospital where Colleen died. You obviously don't care or give a damn about what happened a year ago. You can both go to hell.
Ashley: Abby.
Abby: No, I'm sick of it, Mom. I'm so sick of this.
Jack: O-o-of course we care. Of course we remember.
Katherine: What’s going on out here?
Abby: You are so busy trying to get revenge on each other, that you didn't care who you used or who got hurt. I know that you guys didn't want Colleen to die, but she did. (Voice cracks) And she's gone, and I can never get my sister back are you just walking away, Dad? You would have died. If you hadn't gotten her heart, you would have died. Aunt Traci did that for you. Do you know how grateful I was? I thought, finally, my families are gonna come together. And absolutely nothing, nothing changed. Nothing changed for Dad. Nothing changed for Uncle Jack. You guys didn't learn anything. And I could have hated on both of you, but I tried no because I knew that I wouldn't be any better than you, and I don't want to live my life holding grudges, and I don't like seeing the people that I care about suffer, or worse, dead, because of something that I did.
Cane: Charlie fussed, but he finally went back down. What--
Lily: What is this? Where did this come from?
Ashley: Honey, I don't disagree with you, but this isn't the time or the place, okay?
Abby: Well, tell that to Dad and Uncle Jack. You really think all I care about is my money. Yeah, I want it, because it is my freedom. It's my way out. It means that I won't have to depend on either one of you. You both treat me like I am a clueless child who has no idea what she's doing, but I'm not Dad's puppet... or yours. I can't be pressured or bullied into doing whatever. I am not gonna be a pawn like Colleen was. God, Colleen. (Sobs)
Jack: I'll talk to her.
Ashley: The hell you will.
Tucker: Well, you've definitely underestimated that girl. She knows exactly what's at stake.
Kay: I'm surprised to see you here.
Tucker: (Sighs)
Kay: It wasn't necessary.
(Door opens)
Nikki: My God, was that Abby I heard?
Kay: Oh, Jack and Victor, they were at it again. (Chuckles) And Abby told 'em off. She wants to be nothing like them.
Nikki: (Sighs) I'm sorry to hear that.
Victor: Something you want to say to me?
Jack: I got plenty I want to say to you, but I don't want to cause Katherine any more stress. You obviously have this handled.
Jack: You’re From Ottawa, right?
Meggie: (Sighs) Yes. How are you?
Jack: I'm f-- what are you doing here?
Meggie: Oh, well, I've been in Genoa City for a while now, since July. I'm staying at Victor and Nikki's.
Jack: You left the bar-- that's gotta be an interesting story.
Meggie: (Chuckles) Well, they've been very kind to me.
Jack: You seem a little nervous.
Meggie: Uh, I'm upset. I-I-I feel terrible for Katherine and Murphy.
Jack: Oh, then you know them, too?
Meggie: Well, actually, I just met Murphy today, but they seem like such nice people like the Newmans. I-I-I just want to do anything I can to help.
Jack: I see. Hey, Kiddo.
Mac: Hi. Where's my grandmother?
Jack: Uh, she's in with Murphy. She wants us to wait right here.
Mac: Okay.
Meggie: Well, I-I should get with the others.
Jack: Yeah, I'm sure we'll be seeing each other soon.
Meggie: Yeah.
Mac: How's Murphy?
Victor: Unfortunately, still unconscious.
Mac: We went to Murphy's car earlier. J.T. has some concerns about what happened to him.
Victor: Oh?
J.T.: Yeah, something wasn't right. I think somebody was with Murphy when he had his heart attack.
Victor: Are you serious?
J.T.: Yeah, I mean, I-I can't be certain, but I think there may have been a crime committed.
Victor: Please tell me everything you know.
Kay: You worried about me. Now it's my... it's my turn to worry about you. Don't you dare conk out on me, you old goat. Do you hear me, Patrick Murphy? See, Honey, you--you gotta... you gotta fight. Just please don't leave me. Just... fight. (Whispers) Please.
Next on "The Young and the Restless"...
Cane: There's nothing illegal. They haven't committed a crime yet.
Lily: And there's nothing that we can do until after they attack?
Jack: Are you saying we're together again?
