Cane: I'll get it. Here we go. (Sighs)

Devon: Looks good.

Cane: Hey, hey, hey.

Neil: Hey, how you doing buddy?

Cane: I'm good.

Neil: And where's my beautiful grandkids?

Cane: They're with, uh, Jill and Lily. They're getting ready for their close-up.

Neil: Nice. Nice.

Cane: Hey, come in!

Traci: Hi.

Cane: Thank you so much for being our Godmother. It--the babies' Godmother means so much to us, it really does.

Traci: Ah, well, it's my honor, sight unseen.

Neil: That's right. You haven't met the twins yet.

Traci: (Chuckles) No.

Cane: No.

Traci: Oh! Oh! (Laughs)

Cane: Ohh, there we go. There's the girls.

Neil: There they are.

Traci: Ohh, no.

Lily: (Giggles)

Jill: Oh, yes, we are.

Neil: Aren't they amazing?

Traci: (Gasps) They are.

Jill: See? Look. There's your mama.

Lily: Aw.

Jill: Well, hello, Traci.

Traci: Hi, Jill. That's quite an armful you have.

Jill: Oh, he's adorable, isn't he?

Traci: Uh-huh. Oh, oh!

Jill: Yes, he is. Aw.

Lily: So, Traci, I would like you to meet our son and daughter Charles and Matilda Ashby.

Traci: Oh, they're beautiful, and their gowns are exquisite.

Lily: Yeah, Mattie’s wearing the one that I wore as a baby.

Traci: Oh.

Cane: And, uh, Jill was kind enough to let us use Phillip's gown for Charlie’s.

Neil: Come here to Grandpa. Come here, little boy.

Traci: Oh... (Laughs) Look.

Jill: Aw. Aw, he's such a good boy.

Neil: I got him. I got him.

Lily: Would you like to hold Mattie?

Traci: Oh, I would love to.

Cane: (Gasps)

Lily: Okay.

Neil: Hi. Hey, Buddy.

Traci: Come here, Beautiful.

Lily: Say hello to your Godmother, Sweetie.

Traci: Hello, Sweetheart.

Charlie: (Fusses)

Neil: Oh, look at--oh, it's okay. Come on. How about a little of "Rock-a-bye baby"...

Traci: Oh, look! Hello. Oh, look at you, Beautiful.

Neil: And I go like that? Oh, it's okay. Its okay, Baby.

Traci: Oh, my gosh. Oh, I promised myself I wasn't gonna do this!

Neil: Want to hang out with your sister?

Lily: It's okay.

Cane: Oh, it's all right. We do a lot of crying around here now.

Traci: Oh, Honey. I will never forget the first time I held Colleen. It was right after Brad delivered her, and she was early, too, and tiny and dainty...

Charlie: (Fussing)

Neil: It's okay. It's okay.

Lily: Yeah.

Traci: And just utterly perfect, just like these two.

Devon: Hey, Guys, how about you gather around? I'm gonna take a picture, okay?

Lily: Okay, sure.

Devon: All right, let's have the stars of the show there front and center.

Lily: Hi. Hello.

Roxanne: Say "Happy christening."

Lily: Happy christening.

Neil: Look at the camera.

Cane: Happy christening.

(Camera shutter clicks)

Malcolm: Mm. Damn, Girl. I ought to take you out dancing... or either straight home to bed looking like this, one of the two.

Sofia: (Laughs) Ooh. Instead of spending the day with Neil... it's his big day as Grandpa when it could have been you?

Malcolm: You saying I'm jealous?

Sofia: Well, what I'm saying, Malcolm Winters, is that you are very much a part of this family, and one of these days, after I win over Neil, I will be, too. (Chuckles)

Malcolm: Hmm.

Victoria: So after the christening, I have Reed for a little while, so if you need to work or whatever...

Billy: (Groans)

Victoria: Oh. "I heart Victor."

Billy: Oh, you think--

Victoria: My dad would be so proud.

Billy: You think this is funny, huh? You think this is funny?

Victoria: (Giggling) I do.

Billy: I've called every tattoo parlor in town, and they tell me they can't fix it until this thing heals, and it's not my fault that snake went and had a coronary before he put your name on my back. (Laughs mockingly)

Victoria: (Laughs) Okay, so then you just-- you keep your shirt on public, and then it will just be our little secret.

Billy: What were you saying about Reed?

Victoria: Oh. Uh, J.T.'s bringing him to the church, and then we're gonna hang out at the ranch for a while, and then I'm gonna drop him off at a sleepover.

Billy: The ranch-- I thought you were done with that place.

Victoria: Yes, I am. I am definitely. I just don't want to put my son through any more changes right now.

J.T.: Hey, Buddy, did you pick up your room like I asked? I want this place to look good for our special visitor.

Reed: She's not a visitor is she's gonna stay forever.

J.T.: Okay, wise guy, you're right. Mac is not a visitor. She is a permanent fixture.

Reed: Hmm...

(Doorbell rings)

Mac: Hi.

J.T.: Hey, yourself. Let me get these.

Mac: Thank you.

Reed: You don't have to ring the doorbell. You live here now.

Mac: (Laughs) I-I guess I do, don't I?

Heather: Mm.

Heather: (Sighs)

Chance: (Sighs)

Heather: Mm. (Sighs) (Sighs)

Chance: What is it? What?

Heather: (Sighs) That--that car.

Chance: What?

Heather: Do you see it?

Chance: No, what... (Sighs) (Scoffs)

Heather: (Sighs)

Chance: Malloy. What a surprise. He's still keeping tabs on me, huh?

Heather: (Sighs)

Chloe: You know... yeah, I still don't see it.

Ronan: You don't see... what?

Chloe: The family resemblance. You and Chance...

Ronan: Okay.

Chloe: May be brothers, but I don't know.

Ronan: Tut, tut, tut, tut, tut, tut, tut, tut, tut, tut, tut, tut, tut. We talked about this right? You promised me a lunch and not to mention-- what's his name?

Chloe: Yeah, I promised you some other things, too, didn't I?

Ronan: Yeah, that's right, you did, and--oh, that's right. You promised me that I'm gonna get lucky.

Chloe: Mm. You know what? I'm, uh... I'm gonna go slip into something more comfortable. Excuse me.

Ronan: Hey, it's me. I'm on a secure line. I don't have much time, so just listen, okay?

Chance: I need to take off. I need to deal with this right now.

Heather: (Sighs) You don't know for a fact that Ronan is following you.

Chance: Yes, I do, and I'm gonna prove it. (Sighs)

Heather: (Sighs) Chance, please be careful.

Chance: (Sighs) Heather, look, I know there's something... between us, all right, but maybe it was a good idea that we just stopped.

Heather: You're the only person in the room that thinks so.

Chance: (Laughs) Listen, we'll talk about this later. But right now, I need to flush out Ronan.

Heather: (Sighs)

Heather: (Sighs)

Ronan: That dossier on Meeks was way off base. He's up to his neck in this drug ring. Well, I don't know, Christine. You tell me. Who the hell can I trust?

(Footsteps approaching)

Ronan: Listen, I gotta call you back.

Chloe: Okay, well, I'm comfortable. Now it's your turn.

Ronan: (Laughs)

(Knock on door)

Ronan: Are you expecting someone?

Chloe: No, I'm not. (Sighs)

Man: Malloy here?

Ronan: Yeah. What's up?

Man: (Whispering) We got a problem.

Ronan: I've got to take care of some business. Are you gonna be around?

Chloe: Uh, maybe.

Ronan: Okay. How long ago did Chancellor leave?

Man: Just took off.

Ronan: (Sighs) All right, let's go find him before he gets into more trouble.

Man: All right.

Heather: Hey. Um, so you were half right. Ronan was in the building, but not because he was tailing you. He was across the hall visiting Chloe.

(Doorbell rings)

Neil: I got the door.

Jill: What is wrong with you?

Neil: Hey, you two. Welcome.

Sofia: Thanks.

Malcolm: Thanks, Bro.

Neil: Yeah. Good to see you, Malcolm.

Sofia: Aw.

Jill: (Laughs)

Malcolm: Some people you haven't met yet, Dear.

Sofia: Oh.

Malcolm: This is Jill Abbott. Jill, my fiancée Sofia Dupre.

Jill: Well, it's actually Fenmore now, okay? It's very nice to meet you. I've seen you at the club, but we've never been formerly introduced.

Sofia: Well, it's nice to rectify that then.

Malcolm: And this is Traci Abbott, the babies' Godmother.

Sofia: Oh.

Traci: It's a pleasure, Sofia.

Sofia: Likewise. So you're related to Ashley?

Traci: My sister.

Sofia: Okay.

Malcolm: And this is Dr. Olivia Winters.

Olivia: Well, it's nice to finally meet the next Mrs. Winters.

Sofia: Not that I'll be changing my name.

Malcolm: You won't?

Sofia: (Laughs)

Cane: All right, Guys, um, I need to take Traci, Lily, and Devon and the twins to the, uh, church for the, uh, rehearsal. Now you guys can stay here until the ceremony if you want, or you can come along. It's totally up to you guys, all right? I'm gonna get the car.

(Indistinct conversation)

Cane: Hey, Mike. I wasn't expecting to see you till later. What's up?

Michael: Oh, wow... this really couldn't be worse timing.

Cane: What is it?

Michael: Uh, I got a call from the immigration customs enforcement people. The agent that handles you, they--they want to see you right away.

Cane: (Sighs)

Michael: Cane, I'm sorry. The I.C.E. reviewed Lily's records-- her medical records. Now that she is stabilized and she's in remission, they insist on deporting you. I mean, that's the deal he made months ago, and now they intend on sticking to it.

Cane: Do they know about the christening?

Matilda: (Fusses)

Michael: Yes, they know about the christening. They still want you there as soon as possible.

Olivia: This is crazy. What difference does one day make?

Roxanne: They're bureaucrats. What do you expect?

Sofia: There has to be some way around this.

Jill: I mean, Cane has more than atoned for any mistakes he might have made.

Malcolm: He's married to a citizen. He has a valid visa.

Sofia: Right.

Devon: I think Michael was lucky enough to buy him this much time.

Cane: All right, um, how about you guys go down to the church, um, let the pastor know we're running a little late, okay? And, um, Lily and I will be there as soon as we can, okay?

Jill: Well, I'm coming with you.

Neil: So am I.

Michael: I strongly advise you to let me handle this. We need to present our--our--our--our case to the immigration people without all this e-emotion.

Traci: Michael.

Matilda: (Fusses)

Jill: Oh, Baby.

Traci: I don't know if that's the right approach. Here.

Michael: What? What? No, you--

Traci: Here.

Matilda: (Coos)

Traci: Take a look at that.

Matilda: (Fusses)

Michael: (Chuckles)

Traci: Look at these two perfect miracles. Come on. You know, I think that you need to go into that office and present a picture...

Matilda: (Cries)

Traci: So that they will understand exactly what they're tearing apart.

Lily: Shh, shh, shh.

Traci: I mean, t-they're mothers and fathers, too. I think you need to be as passionate as possible so they will understand what's really at stake.

Matilda: (Coos)

Billy: So... (Sighs) When are you planning on telling J.T.?

Victoria: Uh... that we're moving in together? Uh... I guess I should, huh?

Billy: What do you mean, "You guess"? Are you planning on keeping it from him?

Mac: Reed was sure in a hurry to get to his room.

J.T.: Well, I know the feeling.

Mac: (Laughs) To finish his drawing, Dad.

J.T.: Mm-hmm. F.Y.I...

Mac: Mm-hmm.

J.T.: Victoria is taking Reed after the christening and dropping him off at Parker’s.

Mac: To spend the night?

J.T.: Yep. Looks like we've got the place to ourselves.

Mac: (Sighs) Why am I suddenly feeling dizzy?

J.T.: I don't know. Why are you?

Mac: (Sighs) Uh, so... how did Reed take it when you told him I was gonna be living here?

J.T.: Well, you saw him. He was, uh, he was really up for it. I mean, that's all he's been talking about for days.

Mac: And what did Victoria say when you told her about our little arrangement?

J.T.: I didn't tell her.

(Knock on door)

(Knock on door)

Chloe: Coming. Coming, coming.

Chloe: What are you doing here?

Chance: Inside.

Chloe: (Sighs) I-I'm sorry. Did I invite you?

Chance: Ronan was just here, wasn't he?

Chloe: Yeah. We were just having a drink.

Chance: (Laughs) Yyeah, that may have been his cover, but he's here following me.

Chloe: Oh, okay. So the one-and-only reason he's interested is because of you?

Chance: Somehow, he found out that I went to go see Heather, so he was biding his time here with you. The guy's trying to shoot me down before I can prove what a sleaze he really is.

Chloe: Okay, look, I know you think you know what Ronan's done, but I-I think that you just have to take your time and get to know him a little better, and then maybe you'll realize that he's really not--

Chance: Realize what? Why? Do you have the hots for him? Is that what this is about? Chloe, wake up.

Chloe: (Sighs)

Chance: The guy is playing you. He is using you, and you don't even see it, do you?

Ronan: The son of a bitch gave me the slip.

Heather: (Sighs) (Laughs)

Ronan: I know he doubled back here. Where is he?

Heather: You're asking me?

Ronan: Are you denying that Chance was here?

Heather: Why would I deny it? Just, uh, two unemployed losers hanging out, thanks to you.

Ronan: Yeah, well, think of all the time that you're gonna get to spend together now.

Heather: I am so sick of your attitude. You keep saying that you're trying to protect me and Chance, but so far, all you've managed to do is protect us both out of a job.

Ronan: If you would just listen to me for a second instead of--

Heather: Get out, Ronan, now! I'm not helping you ever again!

J.T.: [Sighs] Victoria and I would have argued about it for weeks, you know? But now that it's a done deal, I just get all the hollering over in one shot.

Mac: Or... are you avoiding the conversation because you're not that sure about taking this step?

Victoria: When exactly would I have told J.T.? I mean, we just decided last night that we were moving in together.

Billy: (Clears throat) One phone call, you know? Just rip off the band-aid. He's gonna find out anyway. You might as well just tell him yourself. What do you think?

Victoria: I think that the less explosions in my life right now, the better.

Jill: We're just hoping that Cane's lawyer will be able to resolve all this before it's time for the ceremony.

Pastor: Normally, there wouldn't be an issue, but I've got another christening right after yours, so if Cane and Lily are delayed for too long...

Traci: Well, what do you think about maybe just going ahead with the rehearsal?

Devon: Yeah, the babies are here.

Roxanne: And the Godparents are.

Pastor: Sounds like a plan. If you'll just follow me.

Jill: Okay.

Devon: All right.

Jill: Here, I'll take him. Okay, I got him. Aw, yes.

(Indistinct conversations)

Roxanne: Its nice here, peaceful.

Devon: Yeah, it sure is. I have a bit of a bone to pick, though, with the guy who runs the joint.

Roxanne: Reverend Fulton?

Devon: No, his, uh, his boss.

Roxanne: (Scoffs) What's your beef with the big guy?

Devon: Well, uh, he won't give Cane and Lily a break, you know? Between cancer and premature babies and Cane's problems with--with immigration, it's like, what else is he gonna throw at them?

Roxanne: I guess you could look at it that way.

Devon: Well, Baby, how else?

Roxanne: (Sighs) Remission, healthy children, an army of people fighting for Cane...

Devon: Yeah, well, now you're ruining my misery. (Scoffs)

Roxanne: Look, life can lock you down if you let it, but I decided a long time ago I wasn't going to.

Devon: Yeah, but when your family hurts...

Roxanne: Devon, you be there for Lily, I'll be there for you.

Neil: I should have gone with Cane and Lily, you know, knock some sense into that guy they're meeting with.

Sofia: I think you'd be just as useless there as you are here.

Neil: Are you always this tactful with everyone?

Malcolm: Uh, I don't think that Sofia meant anything negative by that.

Olivia: You know what, Sofia? It's so nice to finally meet you...

Sofia: Yeah.

Olivia: But tell me a little bit about yourself. You went to school where?

Sofia: At Seton Hall undergrad. Then I went to Maryland. I had a scholarship for the first two years, but after that, I had to wing it.

Olivia: (Laughs) So you worked your way through?

Sofia: Yeah, I delivered pizzas, tutored some athletes. Tucker hired me to do some filing, you know, and I never left.

Olivia: That's very impressive.

Malcolm: (Chuckles) Yep, worked her way straight to the top.

Sofia: (Chuckles)

Malcolm: Just like someone else I know.

Sofia: Well, you can always tell the oldest in the family, always the most responsible, right? (Laughs)

Neil: Good thing my brother found you then. He's always needed to be looked after.

Sofia: Malcolm does not need to be looked after. I mean, he takes care of himself. He always has, thank you very much.

Neil: And, Sofia, you've known my brother for exactly how long? How long?

Olivia: Okay. Okay. (Laughs) We're, um, we're all a little stressed right now.

Sofia: Yeah, good times. Look, maybe you ought to go to that meeting before you blow a gasket.

Neil: Oh. (Laughs)

Malcolm: That sounds like a good idea.

Neil: Uh, you know what? I think I will go to that meeting, and I will let you know as soon as I know something.

Olivia: Okay.

Neil: Bye.

Cane: So, um, doesn't two kids to support count for anything anymore?

Michael: Sofia getting you that work visa, that was a huge help.

Cane: Okay.

Michael: I mean, you are uniquely qualified to do a very specific job, and for that reason alone, you should be allowed to stay in the country. And the fact that it's an environmental project, that, uh, that... (New York accent) Doesn't hurt.

Lily: Well, what if you make all these wonderful arguments, and they still want to deport him?

Michael: (Normal voice) Then I'm afraid that's it.

Cane: (Sighs)

Michael: Their decision will be final. We used up our-- our appeals process last time.

Cane: (Sighs)

Lily: (Sighs)

Cane: So they're just gonna put me on a plane and send me to Australia, huh? (Inhales sharply)

Lily: Wait, you are gonna tell me that after everything we have been through, this is how it's gonna end, with Cane having to leave the country? No, Michael, I will not believe that. God is not cruel. (Scoffs)

Cane: Come here.

Lily: Look, this is ridiculous.

Cane: It's gonna be okay. It's gonna be okay. It's gonna be okay. Don't worry about it. It's gonna be all right. It's gonna be okay.

Olivia: You need to give me a call when you get this message. I mean, we're just all wondering what's going on over there.

Reverend Fulton: Any word from our parents? I'm afraid if we don't get under way soon, we'll have to postpone.

Lily: (Sighs)

Cane: (Sighs) Do you need anything?

Lily: No, what I need is for this to be over. It's like, why is this even happening? It's not like you-- you stole anything or--or killed somebody.

Cane: I misrepresented myself. I came to the country illegally, so...

Lily: (Sighs) Yeah, but we straightened that out. Besides, you're married to an American citizen now.

Cane: It doesn't matter. In their minds, I have to pay for my initial crime, so it's just what it is.

Lily: Cane, you have already paid. You took care of me when I was sick. You sat in that chemo room with me. And when I was sick to my stomach, you cleaned up the mess. And each day, you didn't even know if I was gonna make it or not. It's like, isn't that enough? I mean, what more do they want from you?

Cane: Listen, we're gonna get through this. Don't worry about it. Don't--

Lily: Yeah, you know what? I'll go to Canberra with you.

Cane: No, no.

Lily: If you get deported, the twins and I will go to Australia. That's it. It's what's gonna happen.

Cane: No, no, no, no, no. No.

Lily: Listen, I am not in treatment anymore. And you're always talking about how beautiful it is there-- what, Sydney and--and Melbourne and all the open stretches of land.

Cane: All right, okay.

Lily: We could have a farm. We could have--we could have animals. We can grow our own food. It'll be amazing.

Cane: All right, listen, there's lot of other options, all right? I've already--Australia-- been there, done that, okay? McCall has offices, and so does Chancellor, anywhere in the world. We can go anywhere we want except the U.S., okay?

Neil: Cane, Lily, is it over? Are you being deported? What's going on?

Cane: It--it hasn't started yet. Michael's trying to find a supervisor, someone who's sympathetic, so...

Lily: Dad, why aren't you at the chapel? I thought we agreed to let him handle this.

Neil: I'm sorry. I-I--the wait was killing me.

Cane: How's Mattie and Charlie? They're okay?

Lily: (Sighs)

Neil: Just fine. They're perfect little angels.

Lily: Must be nice to be that innocent and not know that your whole world is about to change.

(Approaching footsteps)

Lily: Hey, what--what happened?

Cane: Hey, did you find Mr. Scott? Did you find him?

Michael: Uh, he's tied up in hearings all day. I just keep running into one obstacle after another. (Chuckles)

Lily: Well, we were discussing options, actually, when my dad showed up.

Michael: That's probably a good idea. You know, short-term, they're limited. Since Cane is from Australia, that's where he'll be sent.

Neil: Wait, are you kid-- you don't sound very hopeful here, Michael.

Michael: Well, I think I'll go rattle a few more cages. (Pats Neil on back)

Cane: All right, now listen, however this shakes out, don't worry about it. We'll be together. That's all that matters, okay? Don't worry about it.

Lily: (Sighs)

Neil: Lily... you know, a year ago, I wasn't sure that you'd be alive to see this day. And now here you are. You're well again, and you have two beautiful precious children when none of us were sure you'd have any. Honey, I am so extremely proud of you for being strong and grateful to this guy over here...

Cane: (Chuckles)

Neil: For being your rock.

Lily: Listen, no matter where we end up, wherever you are, that's where home will be.

Neil: Oh, Baby.

Lily: (Sighs)

Chloe: You think that Ronan is using me?

Chance: The guy is dangerous. Chloe, stay away from him. How many times do I have to tell you this?

Chloe: Okay, so this is a safety issue? The fact that I was sitting here having a drink--we're engaged-- with this guy that I've kissed before-- none of that matters at all?

Chance: Hell, yes, it matters. It bothers me, all right? I am telling you this because I'm trying to warn you.

(Knock on door)

Chloe: (Sighs) Just...

Chance: Don't answer that.

Chloe: I--

Chance: Chloe, don't answer-- don't answer the door. Just leave it alone, Chloe.

Chloe: Hi. I'm glad that you're back.

Chance: Hmm.

(Door closes)

Chance: You have been following me again, haven't you?

Ronan: Yes, I have.

Chance: Mm-hmm.

Ronan: You know, someone has to, Chance, because you're brilliant at screwing things up.

Chloe: Okay. How about we all sit down? Let's have a glass of wine. We--

Ronan: Hey, shut it, Chloe.

Chance: Hey, don't talk to her like that.

Ronan: I'll talk to her the way--what do you care, huh? 'Cause you've got your new action waiting across the hallway for you here, don't you?

Chloe: Okay. On that note, why don't-- why don't you just go?

Chance: If he will.

Ronan: (Scoffs)

Chloe: Leave. I want to talk to him. Please just leave.

Chance: You... fine.

Chloe: (Sighs)

(Door closes)

Chloe: Do you know how much I hate keeping this ridiculous secret from him? He feels betrayed because I don't think that you're the scum of the earth. And he also thinks that you're using me.

Ronan: I am using you. We're using each other. Or did you think you were being subtle?

Chloe: You think I'm using you?

Ronan: Come on, Chloe. You asked me to come over here today, tell me I'm gonna get lucky. I wasn't ever gonna get lucky. You know why? 'Cause you're still hung up on Chance.

Chance: Why can't she see the jerk that he really is? Tell me that.

Heather: Chloe's a big girl. She can handle herself. Why are you even still... forget it.

Chance: (Sighs) (Scoffs) Look, this thing with Ronan... (Sighs) It's got us all a little churned up. Maybe that's the reason why... I don't know-- this--this thing between us... (Sighs)

Heather: So you don't think it's real?

Chance: I don't know. I mean, I don't understand it. I-I... (Sighs) This feeling just kind of hit me out of nowhere.

Heather: Um, it snuck up on me, too. After Adam, the idea of... (Scoffs) Opening myself up to a guy--no way... until you came along.

Cane: (Sighs) You know, Michael's been in there a while.

Neil: (Sighs)

Lily: Well, that's a good sign, right? I mean, if the agent made up his mind and wasn't willing to listen, you'd be gone by now, don't you think?

Neil: All right, I--you know, I thought it was bad waiting at the church. I-I'm gonna go find some coffee. Hey, you want something?

Cane: No, I'm all right. Baby, do you want anything?

Neil: You?

Lily: I'm fine. Thanks.

Neil: All right, I'll be back.

Cane: Okay.

Lily: Poor Dad. It's almost worse for him than it is for us. I mean, if you have to leave, at least we'll be together.

Cane: Yeah, it must be hard for Neil. I know what it's like to let you go.

Lily: Well, we don't have to worry about that, as long as I'm in remission.

Cane: (Sighs) What Neil said earlier was true, you know. We are so lucky. There's nothing we can't get through together, okay? It's gonna be okay.

Billy: Here's a true fact-- you don't have to choose between being happy and being a good parent. You can have both.

Victoria: Ah, okay.

Billy: And it'll be worth it for you and for Reed.

Victoria: So you're gonna show me the ropes. You'll show me how to be the black sheep.

Billy: No, but I can show you how to be free. I can help you find Victoria. Your family's gonna give you all sorts of hell just like mine did, but, uh, I'll be with you every step of the way.

Victoria: You know, the way that you say it, you make it sound a lot less intimidating.

Billy: Hmm. Good. Come here. Let's go to the church. You'll feel better when you see Reed.

Victoria: (Sighs)

Mac: A lot of couples live together without ever making a commitment. And that's not me, and I really--I-I need to know that you're not just trying this on for size.

J.T.: I want you here with Reed and with me. I love you, okay? That's not gonna change. I don't know how to say it any more plain than that. But if you want me to talk to Victoria, I will do it, if it makes you feel better.

Mac: (Sighs) It does. It will. Thank you.

J.T.: Sure.

Roxanne: Maybe we should pray?

Olivia: That's a good idea.

Malcolm: Reverend Fulton?

Reverend Fulton: Yeah, maybe if we could join hands?

(Cell phone rings)

Devon: Oh, hang on a second. Sorry. It's Lily, Guys.

Jill: Oh, oh, oh. Put her on speaker.

Devon: Okay, hang on. Oh, right there. Lily?

Lily: Okay, so I have, like, two seconds before I get in trouble for using my cell phone.

Devon: Okay, well, you're on speakerphone, so go ahead.

Lily: Okay, well, Michael's talking with the man from immigration, and Cane's about to go in there, so it shouldn't be long now.

Sofia: Keep the faith, Baby. Bring your man home with you.

Lily: I'm praying really hard.

Traci: Yes, we all are, Honey.

Lily: Cane's gonna go in, so I gotta go, okay? I love you.

Jill: I love you.

Devon: Love you.

Malcolm: Love you, too.

Reverend Fulton: Well...

Jill: (Sighs)

Reverend Fulton: Heavenly father, through your grace, Cane and Lily have overcome adversity so many times. Please help guide them through this new challenge. Fill the people who are deciding Cane's fate with your divine wisdom and mercy. Keep this couple together, surrounded by their loved ones as they raise their children to know the bounty of your everlasting love. We ask this through Christ our lord. Amen.

All: Amen.

Chloe: Here, why don't you take your pretentious bottle of wine and your mind-reading act and call it a day?

Ronan: Hear me out... (Sets bottle down) Okay? When I was working for the sheriff's department, I did some undercover work, and, um, I really got into it at first. I liked the idea of... giving up my identity and reinventing myself. It kind of--it appealed to the, uh, the side of me that's always felt like something was missing. But the trade-off was, that you don't have a personal life, you know, and you never put roots down anywhere with anybody. And when you asked me over here today, I was not thinking sex. I thought it would be nice to... drink some wine together, to have a bite to eat, to talk together.

Chloe: (Sighs)

Ronan: And that-- that's it.

Chloe: Wow, you know, for a second there, I thought I might have seen you, you know, the real you.

Ronan: I tried.

Chloe: (Sighs) Yeah. Excuse me.

Chloe: (Sighs)

Heather: You say that there's something between us. (Sighs) I felt it. I know you have, too.

Chance: (Sighs) I have.

Heather: (Sighs) I know that you think you should go, that... that this shouldn't happen... that we, uh... shouldn't give in to temptation. (Sighs)

Chance: Maybe we should.

Heather: (Sighs)

Heather: (Sighs)

Heather: (Sighs)

Chance: (Sighs)

Heather: (Sighs) (Sighs)

Mac: Pretty sharp there, Dude.

J.T.: So should we head in?

Reed: Are you ready?

Victoria: Hi! Come here, you. Oh, I missed you so much! Mm! Look at you!

Reed: I get to hug Mac all the time. She's a permanent fixture at our house.

Victoria: Oh. (Laughs) Oh... (Sighs) Permanent fixture. That's lovely.

Mac: Come on, Honey. Let's, um, let's check out the stained glass windows.

Billy: Ooh, stained glass windows. I-I--let's go. (Clears throat)

Mac: Okay.

J.T.: (Clears throat)

Victoria: So... did Mac move in with you? Is that what I'm hearing?

J.T.: Well, now you know.

Victoria: I see. Well, you can expect a call from my lawyer. I think I have grounds now to revisit custody.

J.T.: Oh, bring it on, Tattoo girl. And, uh, while you're at it, why don't you wear that skirt to court? Yeah, instead of testifying, the judge can just read your ass. It pretty much says it all about how stable you are.

Jill: If Cane is deported, my understanding is that he'll be on a plane today, and then Lily will have some decisions to make.

Billy: So there's not gonna be a christening, huh?

Traci: Well, I think under the circumstances, that's the least of their worries. Mm...

Reverend Fulton: It might be best for us to reschedule.

Lily: Hey, Guys! He can stay!

Malcolm: Hey! (Cheering)

(Voices overlapping)

Billy: Congratulations.

Mac: That's fantastic.

Lily: Oh!

(Voices overlapping)

Next on "The Young and the Restless"...

Mac: So if we can be friends, maybe they can, too.

Billy: Victoria's pretty stubborn.

Victoria: You are so egotistical. I cannot wait to see you fall off your high horse.

Jill: What are you doing here crashing my grandchildren's christening?
