Nick: Hey. (Sighs)
Phyllis: Nick, oh, my God. Oh, God. When Michael got the call--
Nick: It's okay. I'm fine.
Phyllis: Your hand.
Nick: Uh, it's no big deal.
Phyllis: It is a big deal.
Sharon: Who attacked you?
Nick: There's this guy in here. His name is Frank Ellis.
Phyllis: Wait a second. That's that criminal who forged Victor's diary.
Nick: Yeah, he's an old buddy of Adam’s. Um, I knew something was up. He'd been lookin' at me funny all day. The guard stepped out of the room, and then he tried to stab me in the eye with a hypodermic.
Phyllis: Oh, my God.
Sharon: You know...
Phyllis: (Sighs)
Sharon: Adam said the same thing happened to him, only he never told me who did it. I wonder if it was Ellis.
Nick: He only got me in the hand. It's--I'm fine.
Sharon: What was in the syringe?
Nick: It was nothing. It was saline. It's harmless. So I think he just wanted to send me a message.
Phyllis: Listen to me. A needle in the eye is not harmless, Nick. We're gettin' you out of here.
Michael: Given Frank Ellis' history with the Newmans, he should never have been in the same room with Nicholas.
Owen: It was an oversight.
Michael: An oversight that could have cost my client his eyesight.
Owen: Look, Ellis is due to be transferred in a couple of days. We'll keep him in isolation until he's moved.
Michael: (Scoffs) Owen, that's not good enough. Nicholas isn't safe. He's a target for every inmate who thinks he can shake down Victor Newman. The D.A.'s office has to sign off on a bail amount.
Owen: (Sighs)
Michael: I want my client out of jail now.
Mac: How you doing?
Lily: Uh, good. I mean, you'd never know I was dying by the way that I feel. It's like, compared to being on chemo, even my bad days are good.
Mac: When do you start chemotherapy again?
Lily: Soon, so I'm just trying to enjoy having energy while it lasts. But how are they?
Mac: They're good. Uh, I think we definitely have a night owl and a dancer on our hands.
Lily: Ah, just like my mom.
Mac: Except this is more hip-hop than ballet.
Lily: (Laughs) Right. Mm.
Mac: I wanted to talk to you face-to-face about why I said no to Cane.
Lily: About what?
Mac: Using the amniotic fluid for your stem cell treatment.
Lily: Wait, I-I-I told him that wasn't an option. He went to you behind my back?
Cane: Thank you for meeting me. I do appreciate this.
Olivia: I'm assuming it's about Lily?
Cane: Yeah. Um, look, I understand that the, uh, window of time is closing if she wants to get into this, uh, this trial.
Olivia: She's changed her mind? She wants to do it?
Cane: No, no, no. She's not gonna budge, and I'm terrified. She's not as strong, um, for the second round of chemo a-as she was for the first one.
Olivia: Have you tried asking Mackenzie for help? Because if Mac were on board--
Cane: No, she agrees with Lily. I was hoping maybe you could talk to them, 'cause they would listen to you. Will you help?
Daniel: Well, some guy wants to hire me to do a portrait... (Sighs) Of his dog.
Kevin: Well, it's work.
Daniel: Kevin, I'm an artist.
Kevin: (Sighs) Rent, art. Rent, art--art.
Daniel: You're a little jumpy tonight.
Kevin: (Sighs) I'm taking Jana out on a date later.
Daniel: That's good. Where you taking her?
Kevin: Drive out to the old water tower, the one she made me climb when we had our first kiss.
Daniel: (Chuckles) You're scared of heights.
Kevin: Yeah, I'm terrified. But I got to do whatever I can to try and, you know, bring back her feelings. I have to make her fall in love with me all over again.
Daniel: You know, a few weeks ago, we were married to two of the world's greatest women.
Kevin: Well, I still am. I mean, Jana's still in there. I just have to find her.
Daniel: When the going got tough, Amber bailed.
Kevin: Well, that's not true. It's not Amber's fault you two aren't together. You've got nobody to blame for that but yourself.
Jana: (Clears throat) Uh, I'm--I have a date with Kevin tonight, and I'm no--I'm not exactly sure how to dress.
Lauren: (Chuckles) What you're wearing is perfect.
Jana: Okay. Thanks.
Lauren: Uh, do you have a minute?
Jana: Yeah.
Lauren: I-I, uh, I can't shake the memories of us being trapped in the cage. Can--can you just tell me-- tell me that we're safe? That Sarah is gone?
Jana: Sarah's gone.
Lauren: (Sighs) I know. It's so ridiculous, isn't it? (Sniffles) But I'm, uh, I'm terrified that they're gonna come after us again.
Abby: Are you kidding me? What? (Scoffs) I mean, you-- you can't back out now. (Stammers) That footage of me with my parents, it's epic. How many people have seen the real Victor Newman?
Kent: No money, no crew. No crew, no show.
Abby: I told you. I'll get you the money.
Kent: (Sighs) You said that yesterday. Your parents won't let you touch your inheritance. Let me bring in another production company.
Abby: No. No. I'm doing this my way.
Kent: (Chuckles) Your way is to spend my cash.
Abby: I'm worth millions. You'll get it back.
Kent: When?
Abby: Oh, come on. "The Naked Heiress" will be huge. You said so yourself. We are so close.
Kent: You have till the end of the night. Then I'm pulling the plug.
Abby: (Scoffs)
Daniel: Are you blaming me for Amber leaving?
Kevin: No, no, I didn't say it was your fault that she left. I said it was your fault you two broke up.
Daniel: She walked out on me, you remember?
Kevin: You know, I really don't want to argue about this. I'll just say that when Amber said she wanted to go, I told her you would eventually come around.
Daniel: You did what?
Kevin: Look, I never thought you would let her go to California without you.
Daniel: Kevin, are you telling me that you encouraged my wife to leave me?
Jana: Sarah's dead. You have nothing to worry about.
Lauren: But Daisy and Ryder know where we live.
Jana: No, they won't come to Genoa City. They'd get thrown into jail.
Lauren: (Sighs) But the joy that Daisy got from seeing us miserable, I... I can still-- I can... I can smell the cage. I-I can feel the coldness of that cement. I... I have nightmares about it. I--you in pain, and Sarah laughing and mocking us. Jana... I don't want to leave the house. I'm so afraid that I'm gonna be abducted again. I don't want anything to happen to fen. (Gasps) I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I can't help myself.
Jana: I'm sorry.
Lauren: Are you... are you having any of these feelings at all?
Jana: I don't really think about it.
Lauren: Not at all?
Jana: It's the past. What I'm more concerned about now is the future, if I will ever be able to feel anything again. I'm not sad. I'm not angry. I'm not happy. Am I going to be like this for the rest of my life?
Lauren: Oh, Honey, I'm... I'm so sorry. I just--I totally forgot you're going through your own hell.
Jana: See, that's just the thing. It's not hell. It's really... not anything at all. I'm going on this date for Kevin's sake, and... I don't have any feelings about it whatsoever.
Lauren: But you're concerned enough that you don't want him to be disappointed.
Jana: But he will be disappointed. One date isn't going to transform me into the person I was before the aneurysm.
Lauren: Oh, Sweetie, he knows it's gonna take time--
Fen: Jana!
Jana: Oh, hi.
Fen: Will you read me a story?
Lauren: Uh, you know, Auntie Jana can't stay. But, excuse me. Did you brush your teeth? Let me see. Excellent. Excellent. All right, say good night to Auntie Jana.
Fen: Night, Jana.
Jana: Good night.
Lauren: All right, well, you pick out a book, and I will come in and read to you.
Fen: Okay.
Lauren: All right, Sweetie.
Jana: Night, Fen. You know, even though you're scared, you should be grateful that you can feel things, because I would... give anything to trade places with you.
Lauren: (Sighs)
Phyllis: Michael, why would Frank Ellis want to attack Nick?
Michael: Revenge against Victor.
Sharon: What if the attack had nothing to do with Victor? Could Adam have set it up?
Michael: (Groans)
Phyllis: Adam's dead.
Michael: Hmm.
Sharon: He's still causing a lot of problems for Nick. I just wonder what he might have set in motion before he died.
Nick: Nah, that's pushing it.
Sharon: Really? I don't think that we should discount anything where Adam's concerned. I mean, just this morning, your dad was helping me pack up Adam's things, and we found a parking receipt in one of his pockets. It was from Minneapolis.
Nick: Minneapolis is near...
Phyllis: Yep.
Michael: The fast-food joint, the one Adam called on April 1st the night he was killed.
Nick: What's the date of that parking receipt?
Phyllis: It was February 25th?
Nick: So there's no connection. (Sighs)
Sharon: Well, there might be. Adam was out of town on February 25th. He told me he was in Kansas visiting his mother's grave.
Michael: But we think he was outside of Minneapolis making plans with an accomplice.
Nick: You got anything to back that up?
Phyllis: Yeah, the waitress at the fast-food restaurant, she said she saw Adam with another guy and that man's child.
Michael: A guy who may very well have been his killer.
Mac: Like I said before, I had a miscarriage, and I just-- I don't want to do anything that could cause me to have another one. And I know that the risk is low, but--
Lily: No, listen. Listen. I completely agree. I mean, we can't chance it. That's why I refused to do the stem cell trial.
Mac: (Sighs) I'm so glad we're on the same page about this.
Lily: Yeah.
Mac: It would have been really hard to say no to your face if you'd asked me to go ahead with the amino. I just... I feel so connected to them, you know, and not in an "I want to take them and keep them for myself" kind of way, but in a "I just can't wait to see how amazing they are" kind of way.
Lily: No, I understand. I do, and I am so grateful that you're looking out for them. But, I mean, Cane, he should not have gone behind my back and tried to pressure you.
Mac: He's just afraid of losing you.
Lily: Yeah, I know. I-I-I get that, but, I mean, I'm not gonna change my mind, and if he won't change his, then I think that we're gonna have a real problem.
Olivia: I'm not sure anything that I would say to my niece is gonna change her mind. It hasn't so far.
Cane: Okay, all right, now I just want to be clear on something you said to me. Taking the amniotic fluid from Mackenzie is going to be Lily's best chance of survival, right?
Olivia: I also said it's not a miracle cure. I mean, you're gonna have to understand that Lily and Mac are looking at this from a mother's instincts.
Cane: I know.
Olivia: Remember when I told you I went through a similar situation when I was pregnant?
Cane: Yeah, yeah, but you didn't tell me the details.
Olivia: I refused treatment for my cancer. I didn't want to harm my son Nate.
Cane: You do know that saving Lily is the most important thing I can do right now.
Olivia: Of course it is.
Cane: Okay.
Olivia: But it's not in your hands.
Cane: So you're saying there's nothing we can do?
Olivia: Well, I have been looking at other options.
Cane: Okay, and did you find anything in particular?
Olivia: There might be something.
Kevin: I never told Amber that she should leave you. But I did say taking Eric some place safe was a good idea. I thought you loved her enough to support that.
Daniel: I did. I loved her so much, that she left with my blessing, because I knew that I couldn't be a good dad.
Kevin: You never even gave it a shot. Eric was a good kid. Who knows? You may have liked him if you'd gotten to know him.
Daniel: I wasn't ready to have that kid live with us.
Kevin: (Scoffs) Well, sometimes you have to make sacrifices for the women you love.
Daniel: (Scoffs) Why don't you try telling that to Amber?
Kevin: Amber did the right thing protecting that kid. You're the one who messed up.
Abby: Careful, or your face will freeze.
Daniel: Hey. (Clears throat)
Abby: You know, because you look so miserable, you can buy me a cup of coffee to cheer you up.
Daniel: And how is that supposed to help?
Abby: "In giving, we receive." Warren Buffett said that.
Daniel: Saint Francis said that.
Abby: I was testing you.
Abby: Iced vanilla latte, extra shot on him. (Clears throat) Did you, um, see me on the news the other day?
Daniel: Yeah, I-I don't watch that much TV.
Abby: Um, hi. 2010. The internet.
Daniel: Okay, I'll bite. Why were you on the news?
Abby: Check me out on Viewclick. You won't be disappointed. Hmm. Thanks for treating me.
Daniel: Wh-- (Sighs)
Jana: Lauren, remember that Sarah is dead, and Ryder and Daisy are gone, and the only person tormenting you is you. So face your fears, and don't let them get the best of you.
Lauren: Thanks. (Sniffles)
Jana: Good luck.
Lauren: You, too. Night. (Sighs)
Phyllis: When we were at that restaurant, we talked to the manager, and they said that they saw a man in there on April 1st.
Sharon: And he was wearing a tux and carrying a mask.
Michael: And he just happened to answer the pay phone at the same time our records show that Adam placed his call.
Nick: So you're saying Adam got in touch with his accomplice, told him that the plan they came up with on February 25th was a go.
Michael: And he made his way to the policemen's ball.
Phyllis: To help Adam... or to kill him.
Nick: W-w-wait, wait, wait. Why double cross?
Sharon: Maybe the plan went wrong and the accomplice was just covering his tracks. Who knows?
Michael: Aha.
Nick: That's what we need to find out.
Michael: That sounds like another trip to Minneapolis is called for. Hopefully we'll find out more about this accomplice and his connection with Adam.
Phyllis: No time like the present.
Michael: No, no, not me. I can't tonight. I got to be with Lauren. Sorry.
Phyllis: Fine, I'll go alone.
Michael: No.
Nick: No, I don't want you going alone and running around at night. It's just--
Phyllis: We are under a time crunch here.
Sharon: I'll go with you.
Nick: You--you both have no idea what kind of neighborhood this parking garage is in.
Phyllis: Oh, listen, come on. We're not stupid. If something looks weird, we'll just go the other way.
Sharon: I'll protect her, Nick.
Nick: You see any sign of trouble, you call Michael immediately.
Michael: Uh-huh.
Phyllis: Yes, I will. Scout's honor.
Nick: Drive safely.
Phyllis: We will.
Sharon: I'm driving.
Phyllis: Oh, no, I'll drive.
Michael: So glad I won't be in that car.
Nick: Yeah.
(Cell phone rings)
Michael: Oh. (Sighs) Michael. Yeah, I'm still here with Nicholas. Oh, all right. I'll tell him. Thank you. That was the D.A.'s office. They got a judge to agree to an emergency hearing due to the safety concerns.
Nick: When?
Michael: Now. Here's to this maybe being your last night in jail.
Nick: Right.
Michael: (Chuckles)
Olivia: There's a new trial, and they're using adult stem cells to treat ovarian cancer.
Lily: Really? And what kind of success are they having?
Olivia: It's a new test, but it's promising. I can try and get you admitted. The downside is you have to relocate to France. Are you interested?
Lily: Um... (Chuckles) Yes, very.
Cane: You, uh, you didn't mention that it was, uh, gonna be overseas, though.
Olivia: She's strong enough to make the trip.
Cane: What are the risks if they accept her, though?
Olivia: Lily's body could reject the stem cells, and it would further compromise her immune system.
Lily: Which would make it pretty much impossible for me to go back on chemo, right?
Olivia: Look, my hope is this trial is gonna make you healthier so that you can undergo another round of chemo. And if it works, it could buy you time.
Lily: And what if it doesn't work?
Olivia: Your doctor won't administer chemo if there's any stress to the body.
Mac: It has to work.
Cane: This doesn't have the success rate that using the stem cells from the amniotic fluid does, right?
Olivia: No, no, it doesn’t. There's a blood tie with the babies that doesn't exist with the donated stem cells. And Lily's body could reject them.
Lily: (Sighs)
Cane: (Sighs)
Lily: Cane, I'm-- I'm not gonna risk our babies, so this is my next best option. I mean, what do you think?
Cane: Um, I think if this is the... best choice for you, I support it.
Lily: Thank you. (Sighs)
[Lauren dreaming]
Sarah: (Quietly) Lauren? Lauren? Lauren?
Lauren: (Screams) (Gasps) (Breathing heavily) (Sighs) (Sighs)
Abby: Hi, it's Abby Newman. Yeah, I'm in the mood for some jewelry shopping. I was wondering if I could stop by the store after you close. Great. See you then. Oh, uh, no sweetener on the patio.
Daniel: Whoa. Jana.
Jana: What?
Daniel: You--you-- your hair. That's some change. How does it feel?
Jana: No different. Is Kevin here?
Daniel: Uh, he's around here somewhere. Ready for your date?
Jana: As ready as I'll ever be.
Kevin: Hi.
Jana: Hello.
Kevin: (Sighs)
Daniel: You know what? I'm just gonna be over there. Excuse me. (Clears throat)
Kevin: So I think you're gonna like what I have planned.
Jana: I think I will. (Clears throat)
Kevin: Hopefully it'll help bring back some feelings. Are you sure you still want to do this?
Jana: Just please be patient. This is all just a bit overwhelming for me.
Kevin: Okay. Okay, well, you just have to let me know if you're feeling uncomfortable. You just--just tell me.
Jana: Okay.
Kevin: Okay. Shall we?
Michael: $10 million. Does Pomerantz really think you're gonna skip town?
Nick: I'm not worried about it. Dad called his bank from the road. I'm going home. That is all I care about.
Michael: Now listen up. The D.A. still thinks you're a murderer. They're gonna be watching your every move.
Nick: (Sighs)
Michael: Do not give them the opportunity to toss you back in jail.
Nick: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I get it. No robbing gas stations at gunpoint.
Michael: If Frank Ellis hadn't come at you with that hypodermic needle, they would never have released you.
Nick: Well, I'll be sure to thank him when I see him. You wanna hug it out?
Michael: Go get processed. I'll wait.
Nick: Thanks, Baldwin.
Michael: Mm.
Phyllis: Hello?
Michael: Hey, Phyllis. News. Nicholas made bail.
Phyllis: (Sighs) Oh, God! (Laughs) Michael, oh, my God!
Olivia: It's confirmed. You got the last place in the program.
Lily: Oh, my gosh. (Laughs) That's incredible. You are incredible. I owe you so much.
Olivia: Look, I'm just happy that there's something that I could do.
Mac: I have a really good feeling about this.
Lily: Well, there's so much to do. I mean, we have to get tickets and--and pack and find someone to watch Humphrey.
Cane: Look, um... I can't come with you.
Lily: Why not?
Cane: Because I'm staying in the country because of your illness. If I leave, I can't get back in.
Lily: Are--are they gonna deport you while I'm gone?
Cane: I don't know.
Lily: No, Michael can fix this. It'll be fine.
Cane: I'll ask him, but I-I don't know what he can do.
Lily: Cane, I-I can't-- I can't do this without you. (Sighs)
Olivia: I'll go.
Cane: (Sighs)
Lily: No, Aunt... (Sighs) Liv, I-I can't ask you to drop everything just to hold my hand.
Olivia: No, I'd like to, and I can oversee your treatment.
Cane: Thank you. You're an angel.
Lily: Thank you so much. (Sighs)
Cane: Well, uh, looks like I'm gonna be bachin' it with Humphrey, huh?
Lily: (Sighs) Well, don't let him sleep on the bed.
Cane: (Chuckles) Nah, not me.
Lily: I won't be able to watch them grow.
Mac: Oh, I'll e-mail you and send pictures, and we'll talk on the phone. You're gonna be sick of me.
Cane: I can't believe you're gonna be so far away.
Lily: (Sighs) Its okay. I'm gonna... I'm gonna come back to you healthier, all right? You'll see.
Cane: Come here.
Lauren: (Sniffles)
Michael: Lauren?
Lauren: Hey. Where are you?
Michael: I'm at the jailhouse with Nick. I was about to call.
Lauren: What's wrong?
Michael: Ask me what's right.
Lauren: What's right?
Michael: Nick made bail.
Lauren: (Sighs)
Michael: (Chuckles)
Lauren: That's so great. That's so great. I guess then that means you'll be tied up with work all night, right?
Michael: Hmm, why? What do you have in mind?
Lauren: I, um, I wanted to get out of the house. I was hoping that you would meet me at Crimson Lights?
Michael: Hmm. Uh, what about Fenmore?
Lauren: Gloria said that she would babysit.
Michael: Okay. Hmm, see you soon.
Lauren: Bye.
Lauren: (Sniffles) (Sighs) (Sniffles) Jeffrey, hi. Is Gloria still there? (Sighs) No, that's okay. It's okay. I-I'll see her in a minute. Thanks.
Lauren: I can do this. (Inhales sharply) I can do this. (Breathing heavily) Sarah's gone. Daisy and Ryder... (Sighs) I can do it.
Kevin: What the hell are you doing here?
Ryder: I came to say sorry, and I want to make peace.
Kevin: Oh, I'm calling the police.
Ryder: Look, I'm gonna turn myself in. But I wanted to come to you first. I have some things I need to say.
Daniel: (Scoffs) You kept his wife locked in a cage for weeks. What makes you think that--that he gives a damn about anything you've got to say?
Jana: Please keep your voices down. There are people who are staring.
Ryder: Jana? I-I didn't even recognize you.
Kevin: No, no, no. Don't you talk to her. You're not allowed to talk to her. She had an aneurysm because of you and your sick family.
Ryder: I didn't know. I'm sorry. She said they were migraines. I-I brought her medicine.
Kevin: Well, you should have brought her to a hospital.
(Slams cell phone on counter)
Ryder: I was scared. My whole life, I-I did what Daisy and Sarah wanted me to. I didn't have anyone else. And then I met you and--and suddenly I knew what family was supposed to be like.
Kevin: I've heard this speech before from you, Ryder.
Ryder: I don't expect you to understand. (Scoffs) That whole twin thing? (Scoffs) What a joke. We're supposed to feel what the other one feels, finish each other's sentences. It wasn't like that with Daisy and me. She got off on hurting other people, and it made me sick. You don't know what it's like to live your whole life with someone and feel nothing towards them. And then I met you. And we h-had this... bond. I can't erase the damage I've done or the lies I've told. But I want to make it right. And if that means going to jail, then I--
Abby: You jackass! You lied to me! How dare you come back here?!
Daniel: Whoa, whoa, okay. Okay. Okay. Calm down. Calm down. Aah! No, don't kick. Don't kick.
Abby: (Grunting) Let--don't tell me what to do!
Daniel: (Sighs) Wow, you are pissed.
Abby: You are perceptive.
Daniel: (Laughs) Look, attacking Ryder isn't gonna help.
Abby: Says who?
Daniel: The guy's a loser.
Abby: Der.
Daniel: He's not worth it.
Abby: Then why are you protecting him?
Daniel: What did Ryder do to you that's so horrible besides reject you?
Abby: (Snorts) He did not.
Daniel: Ah, he did, too. Everybody knows that you were crushin' on him.
Abby: Who told you that?
Daniel: Everybody knows.
Abby: Oh, so you were talking about me.
Daniel: Oh, God, you know, don't flatter yourself.
Abby: Yeah, not that it's any of your concern, but Ryder, he used me.
Daniel: Oh, okay. So what should we do? Should we go get Daddy Victor to get his shotgun?
Abby: (Sighs) Got me to bring him food and supplies. He played on my sympathy.
Daniel: Because you've got such a big heart, right? It wasn't because you had a thing for Ryder.
Abby: No! No! I told you.
Daniel: You know, you sure do get upset when I bring that up.
Abby: Oh, you are delusional.
Daniel: And you are a brat.
Abby: (Sighs)
Kevin: That night at the amusement park, I gave you a chance to run. I never thought I would see you again.
Ryder: It's because you gave me that chance that I came back. After everything I did, you were still good to me. I didn't think people like you existed. Daisy thought it was weakness. Why didn't you scream bloody murder when you saw me?
Jana: I don't have any feelings for you one way or another.
Kevin: She's like this all the time now because of the aneurysm.
Ryder: That's my fault.
Jana: I do know that you were the only one who tried to make things better when Lauren and I were locked up. You helped us escape.
Ryder: Too late. I should have done more.
Kevin: Hell, yeah, you should have.
Ryder: I know it's a lot to ask. But I'm hoping that by coming back, by turning myself in, that someday you'll be able to forgive me.
Phyllis: (Sighs)
Phyllis: Okay. I think, um, the first thing we need to do is talk to the cashier and see if he recognizes a picture of Adam.
Sharon: Yeah, and there's a lot of security guards around here I've noticed. We should check with them, too.
Phyllis: Yeah, definitely. Uh, there are a lot of hotels and markets and, you know, bars.
Sharon: Yeah, there's a lot to cover.
Phyllis: Yeah. Um, do you mind if we split up?
Sharon: We'll cover more territory that way.
Phyllis: I think so, too. Here. Let's do it like this, okay? You take that.
Sharon: I'll take that.
Phyllis: Um, okay, let's hope we get lucky.
Sharon: Okay.
Michael: Hey.
Nick: Hey.
Michael: You want me to drop you at home?
Nick: No, I got a driver comin' to pick me up. I'm gonna swing by and get Summer a present. She thinks I've been away on business.
Michael: All right. Well, see you tomorrow.
Nick: Thanks again.
Michael: Yeah.
Nick: All right. (Chuckles)
Owen: Congratulations on making bail. A word to the wise-- don't leave town.
Nick: The only place I want to go is home.
Owen: Listen, they're bringing Frank Ellis through in a minute. You should leave. I don't want another altercation on my hands.
Lily: I cannot believe that you are willing to go to France with me.
Olivia: Even if I'm second choice?
Cane: You know, uh, we talked about seeing Paris one day.
Lily: I just want to show him where I grew up.
Cane: Yes, and now we'll just have to do it with the kids, huh? (Sighs)
Olivia: Well, you know what? I better start packing. I wonder what the weather's gonna be like.
Lily: May is the perfect time to be there.
Olivia: Bye, Mac.
Mac: Bye. Thanks for everything you're doing.
Olivia: Oh, of course. Come here, you.
Lily: See you.
Olivia: I'll talk to you tomorrow?
Lily: Okay.
Cane: I'll walk you out.
Lily: (Sighs) It's like my prayers were answered. It feels so good to have hope again.
Mac: That can go a long way towards your recovery.
Lily: Yeah, it sure can.
Mac: You didn't say anything to Cane about talking to me.
Lily: Yeah. (Sighs) I was gonna bring it up, but, you know, then this came up, and I just didn't think it was necessary. You know, you're right. He's--he's just scared to lose me. I can see it in his eyes.
Cane: Will you be straight with me? What are her chances?
Olivia: There are no guarantees, even with established treatments, and this is a clinical trial.
Cane: You know, I just want her to have the best chance she can have, right?
Olivia: You don't look sold on that.
Cane: I just want her to get well.
Olivia: I have every reason to believe this will work.
Cane: Thank you.
Cane: (Sighs heavily)
Cane: (Sniffles) Hi, it's Cane Ashby. Is she in? Hi, did you get that information I e-mailed you? So what's your opinion? Can I sue the baby's surrogate for access to the amniotic fluid?
Abby: I'm not a brat.
Daniel: Mm, you're a spoiled brat.
Abby: You don't know me.
Daniel: No, but I've known plenty of girls like you in high school. See, the only difference was they weren't stupid enough to take their clothes off on the internet.
Abby: Thought you didn't see that.
Daniel: I looked.
Abby: I'll bet you did.
Daniel: Wait a minute. Do you think that that's something to be proud of?
Abby: (Scoffs) I'm gonna be a huge reality star, bigger than the Kardashians. I'm gonna have my own show. I can do anything.
Daniel: (Gasps) Anything? What? Will it start your own perfume line or maybe get a singing contract?
Abby: I'm not just gonna do it for the money. I-I'm gonna do it for charity, too.
Daniel: Right. So taking your clothes off was purely altruistic, right? It was all for the children.
Abby: (Scoffs) What a loser. I understand why your wife dumped you.
Daniel: Come here.
Abby: (Gasps) Aah! Aah! Are you insane?! You just spanked me!
Daniel: Yeah. Someone had to.
Abby: (Scoffs)
Michael: Oh, hi, Abby.
Lauren: Hi, Abby.
Abby: (Sobs)
Lauren: Bye.
Michael: Bye, Abby.
Lauren: What-- hmm. (Sighs)
Michael: Hmm?
Lauren: You know what? I have to admit something to you.
Michael: Hmm?
Lauren: I was, uh, a little nervous leaving the house, but Gloria gave me a pep talk, and I'm okay.
Michael: There is nothing to be anxious about.
Lauren: Right.
Michael: Mwah.
Kevin: I don't trust you. You've burned me too many times before.
Michael: It's fine. It's fine. It's fine.
Ryder: I'll do anything.
Lauren: (Gasps) What--what's he doing here? Oh, my God!
Michael: It's okay.
Lauren: What's he doing here? Get him away from me! No, no.
Michael: Lauren, its okay. No, no. It's okay. It's okay!
Lauren: No, get him away from me! Oh, God.
Michael: It's all right, Sweetie. Come on. Come on.
Nick: Hey. Why did you do it?
Frank: (Mockingly) Ask daddy. (Laughs)
Sharon: How did it go?
Phyllis: I covered a 10-block radius. I mean, everybody recognized Adam's face from the news, but nobody's seen him around the area, and they--no one recognized the other guy's face.
Sharon: Hmm. Yeah.
Phyllis: I got hit on more times than I can count.
Sharon: You know, one guy told me that he had seen Adam, but he wouldn't tell me where unless I gave him my phone number.
Phyllis: You know, this was a bust.
Sharon: Yeah, um, maybe we should just go back and concentrate on Patty.
Phyllis: Yeah.
Sharon: See if we can find something that proves that maybe she killed Adam.
Phyllis: Right. I want to go back. I miss Nick.
Sharon: I shouldn't have left Faith.
Sharon: What?
Phyllis: Oh, my God, I know this guy.
Next on "The Young and the Restless"...
Kevin: This is the last place we were together before, uh...
Jana: You mean before I was kidnapped?
Lauren: Now you're the one in a cage. How long before someone comes to help you?
Abby: I want access to the trust that Colleen and Brad set up for me and the one you did.
