Episode # 9346 ~ Phyllis & Diane Have an Explosive Face-Off
Provided By Eric
Proofread By Emma
Patty: You're in the way, Dr. P. one of us has to go. And guess what? It's gonna be you. Don't you stress yourself, okay? 'Cause it's only gonna take a little bit.
Emily: (Screams)
Paul: What the hell was that? Patty! Patty!
Emily: Sh-- she wants to kill me.
Patty: (Sighs)
Jack: Oh, and I remember, I brought you to that swing set all the time, and you used to yell, "Daddy, higher! Daddy, higher!" Do you remember that?
Kyle: Sorry.
Jack: Well, that was a long time ago.
Kyle: Um, I remember other stuff-- like how you used to play "Choo-choo" to get me my veggies, and how patient you were when you tried to teach me how to play catch.
Jack: Your mother told you those things, didn't she? Hey, you know what? What do you say we go over to the pond? It's an ice rink now. We can rent skates. You can show me all the great hockey moves you learned up in Vancouver, or--or we could go to Toboggan Hill like we talked about initially.
Kyle: Um, if it's okay, I'd rather build a snowman.
Jack: Great. As luck would have it, I happen to be an excellent snowman builder. Come on.
Kyle: (Chuckles)
Jack: Hey, I'm real glad you and your mom came to visit, real glad. Here we go.
Phyllis: Well, look at this. Talk about a blast better left in the past. What are you doing here?
Diane: I brought Kyle to visit his father. They went to the park. I'll tell Jack you stopped by.
Phyllis: Yeah. (Grunts)
Diane: (Scoffs)
Phyllis: Well, you brought Kyle. Talk about pullin' in the big guns, Diane.
Diane: Jack's new bride arranged it as a wedding present.
Phyllis: She did?
Diane: Mm-hmm.
Phyllis: Oh, she did not know the hell she was about to unleash.
Diane: Only you could take the loveliest gesture and turn it into something ugly.
Phyllis: A lovely gesture? Come on. You haven't brought Kyle to see Jack in years. You wouldn't be using this little father/son visit to torpedo Jack's new marriage, would you?
Diane: (Scoffs) (Sighs)
Gloria: Was that Michael?
Kevin: It was Chance.
Gloria: Okay.
Kevin: Nothing.
Gloria: Well, I'm sure the leads that Michael's following up in Minneapolis will pan out.
Kevin: None of them were solid to begin with.
Gloria: We'll find out. In the meantime...
Kevin: (Sighs)
Gloria: You upload your message and get the word out about Jana in your own words.
Kevin: Yeah, if any of these web sites or viewclick actually work.
Gloria: Well, Honey, let's find out. Tell me how to work this camera, and we'll shoot the thing.
Kevin: Here, look through there and press the red button.
Gloria: (Chuckles) The marvels of modern technology.
Kevin: Come on, Mom. Don't do that.
Gloria: No, no, no, Honey. Image is important. If you want to reach out and get the listeners' sympathy...
Kevin: (Sighs)
Gloria: You just speak from your heart. Let's go.
Kevin: (Sighs) Okay. (Clears throat) Hi, my name is Kevin Fisher, and I need your help. My wife, um, Jana Fisher went missing a couple of days ago.
Daisy: Love what you've done with the place.
Jana: I didn't want to get too comfortable, because I know I'll be going home soon.
Daisy: I thought you told her that's not an option.
Ryder: She didn't want to hear it.
Jana: I'm sure that Kevin has half the town looking for me by now.
Daisy: (Scoffs) Like they'll ever find you all the way out here.
Jana: I have complete faith in the Genoa City Police Department and all of its citizens.
Daisy: Right now, you're the big story. But some kid'll make a video of his cat playing "Chopsticks," and you'll be forgotten... (Snaps fingers) Like that.
Jana: He won't let that happen.
Daisy: He won't have a choice. I bet in a few months, he'll even accept that you are never coming back and file for divorce. Or maybe he'll just jump right to the death certificate.
Jana: You're wrong! Kevin will never stop looking for me.
Daisy: Told you it wouldn't be that hard.
Jana: What are you talking about? Kevin will never stop looking for me.
Daisy: (Sighs) Couldn't have said it better myself.
Sharon: This terrible thing you have to tell me about my husband, I'm guessing it has to do with Phyllis' conspiracy theory about Adam and Dr. Taylor.
Nick: It's not a theory anymore. Adam's a liar, and I have proof. Do you remember Skye Lockhart, Adam's old girlfriend? This is her diary.
Daisy: With a little editing, your words will be the perfect knife in the heart for Kevin.
Jana: What are you going to do?
Ryder: (Whispering) I thought the plan was to pretend to be Jana.
Daisy: Yeah, my British accent wasn't cutting it.
Jana: You know, whatever it is that you're plotting, Kevin will see through it.
Daisy: You're right about one thing. Your husband is pulling out all the stops to find you. But I'm about to put an end to that. Ryder, stay here and feed our pet. "Mama Bear" wants her in good shape... for now, anyway.
Kevin: I've never known anyone who has as much faith in me, I-in people in general, as Jana does. But don't let her good heart fool you. If she sees an injustice or if somebody makes her mad, she won't stop until she makes it right. Even though she's got this face like an angel, and, uh, and this really sweet British accent, she's not afraid to get down and dirty. Uh... (Sighs) I want to believe that somebody's just gonna bump into her, and I'll finally have some reasonable explanation as to why she has just vanished. Like--like maybe she saw some lost soul and wanted to help him find his way home, or--or she came across a-- a hurt kid or a sick animal and she couldn't leave until she knew they would be okay. I mean, that would make sense, because that's who Jana is. But what doesn't make sense is why she wouldn't call to tell me about it. (Sighs) And that's the reason that, uh, that I'm concerned that it’s... (Clears throat) Something more serious. I-- I'm concerned that maybe she's the one who's hurt or in trouble, and if that's, uh... (Exhales shakily) (Exhales) So if anybody has any information that would help bring my wife home, please call the police immediately. Thank you. (Sighs) Okay.
Sharon: How did you get a hold of Skye’s diary?
Nick: Phyllis was able to get access to Taylor’s private papers.
Sharon: (Sighs) Unbelievable!
Nick: This is actually just a photocopy.
Sharon: Really? Where's the original?
Nick: It's in a safe place. But it's real, Sharon. I held it in my own hands, and I read it. I didn't want to bring the original with me, 'cause I was worried that Adam might get his hands on it. It's that bad. Now if you will just read this--
Sharon: No, Nick. I'm not interested!
Nick: This is the diary of a woman who used to date your husband, who just happens to be dead now. You can't tell me you're not curious.
Sharon: What was it doing with Dr. Taylor's things anyway?
Nick: Maybe he stole it. Maybe Skye gave it to him so that he would know she always had a record of when he violated her.
Sharon: Or maybe you and Phyllis just hate Adam so much, you made the whole thing up.
Nick: Look, Sharon, I know--I know how you are when you believe in someone. You defend them till the end no matter how bad it gets. But I don't want to see you hurt anymore, which is why I will not let this go.
Sharon: Why? Because it's your job to protect me from my big, bad husband?
Nick: Adam is dangerous. You think he's opened his soul and confessed everything to you, but you're wrong. There is so much that he is hiding from you.
Sharon: Nick, I am not gonna listen to any more of this, okay? Es-especially when Adam isn't even here to defend himself.
Nick: He couldn't if he wanted to.
Sharon: I want you to leave, Nick.
Phyllis: Huh.
Diane: I have zero interest in rekindling things with Jack.
Phyllis: You sound almost convincing, but, you see, if it walks like a home wrecker and if it throws itself on a married man like a home wrecker..."
Diane: No, no, no, no, no.
Phyllis: It's usually a home wrecker.
Diane: Didn't your marriage to Jack break up after I left town? Not that I was surprised. You always were a little unstable.
Phyllis: Oh, coming from the woman who stole a man's sperm to get pregnant, and you didn't even do that right.
Diane: At least I was able to give Jack a child.
Phyllis: Do you really want to go there?
Jack: I think we make a pretty good team, huh?
Kyle: Yeah, even if we hardly ever see each other, right?
Jack: I know that a few presents and a couple phone calls every month don't exactly cut it.
Kyle: You--no, it's okay. Mom says you're really busy with work, so...
Jack: Is that what your mom tells you?
Kyle: It only really stinks when they have a father/son thing at school, and everyone asks why my mom always comes instead of my dad.
Jack: I'll tell you what, let's make a deal, huh? Next time one of those things happens, you or your mom give me a call. I can move my schedule around. I can be there.
Kyle: You--you know, you don't have to. I know that you and Mom didn't always get along.
Jack: You know what? I can work on that, too.
Kyle: Okay.
Jack: Okay. I don't know. Something's still missing. Hmm... hey, maybe I have an idea. Here we go. How about that? Kyle? Ky--
Kyle: Snowball fight!
Jack: Oh! Oh! You are on, Mister. You are on.
Kyle: (Laughs)
Jack: Aah! Aah! Got me.
Kyle: (Laughs)
Jack: There you go. Aah!
Emily: I need Jack. You--you have to find Jack.
Paul: (Sighs) Dr. Stanley's on his way.
Patty: Then you don't need me here.
Emily: Patty.
Paul: That's right. That's right. You're Patty.
Emily: No... she is.
Patty: I should go.
Paul: No. You are the reason my sister woke up. I don't want to risk losing her again.
Emily: I'm-- (Sobs) I'm not your sister. (Sighs)
Patty: It's obviously upsetting her that I'm here.
Paul: Look, I know you're angry at Dr. Peterson. I know that. That's--that's the reason you tried to kill yourself.
Emily: I... (Exhales) I'm Dr. Peterson.
Paul: Oh, Honey.
Patty: Paul. Paul. Remember when, um, before she had her suicide attempt, sh--Patty thought she was me. Remember?
Paul: Yeah.
Emily: (Sighs) She--she... (Sighs) She did this. She tried to kill me.
Patty: (Sighs) That's obviously the ravings of a complete lunatic.
Paul: That's a bit harsh, Doctor.
Patty: I'm just being honest.
Emily: You're lying.
Paul: Patty, just relax, okay? Just relax.
Patty: I need to go.
Paul: The doctor's on his-- Emily, please. Patty?
Emily: I'm Emily. Emily.
Paul: I know, Sweetheart.
Emily: I'm-- (Sighs) (Breathing heavily) No. Where--where am I? What-- what am I doing--
Paul: Well, you're in the hospital.
Emily: (Gasps)
Paul: After you took all those--those pills, you went into a coma.
Emily: No. No, Patty--Patty-- Patty did this. She did this to me.
Paul: Okay, you know what? None of that matters now. You're alive, Pattycakes, okay? When I came in and found you, you scared me to death.
Emily: No.
Paul: Don't you ever do that again, okay?
Emily: No, sh--
Paul: Todd told me if I just had faith, you would come back to us, and you did. That's exactly what you did. You made it. That's all that matters now.
Emily: Paul, you don't under--
Paul: Just get better.
Emily: You-- you don't understand. (Breathing heavily)
Paul: Well, are you in pain?
Emily: You have to get me Jack.
Paul: No.
Emily: He'll know. Please. Please.
Paul: Ja-Jack is no good for you.
Emily: Please get me Jack.
Paul: Just...
Emily: (Sobs)
Paul: Try and relax, Patty, please?
Emily: I need him.
(Door opens)
Emily: Okay?
Paul: Please, just--
Dr. Stanley: Well, look who's back.
Paul: She's a little disoriented.
Dr. Stanley: Oh, that's to be expected.
Emily: Okay, I nee-- I need to get Jack, okay?
Paul: You're gonna hurt yourself, Sweetheart. You're gonna hurt yourself.
Emily: I need to get Jack. I need--
Paul: You're gonna hurt yourself. You just need to relax.
Emily: I am not Patty. Please--please help me. Please.
Diane: You have the gall to accuse me of using my child after some of the stunts that you've pulled? How--how many times in the last year have you almost lost Nick Newman, and then use your daughter to hold on to him?
Phyllis: Wait a second. Are you kidding me?
Diane: Oh, I bet you thought I was out of the loop.
Patty: (Thinking) You... you... you--you want Jack. You--you--you took him from me before, and you're trying to take him away again.
Diane: You have the gall to accuse me...
Phyllis: Oh, my guess is Jack's marriage is hanging on by a thread...
Diane: Of using my child after some of the stunts that you pulled?
Phyllis: When Emily finds out the piranha that she's in--
Patty: (Sighs)
Jack: You're back. Hey, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to startle you.
Patty: You didn’t. You didn’t.
Jack: What were you doing out here in the cold?
Patty: Um... (Chuckles) She's in there.
Jack: Diane?
Patty: Yes. Uh, no, um, Phyllis and Diane.
Jack: Wait, Phyllis and Diane are in there together right now?
Patty: Yes.
Jack: Uh, let's go in and say a quick hello. Come on.
Patty: (Sighs)
Sharon: I asked you to leave, Nick.
Nick: Not until you look at this.
Sharon: Fine. If you won't leave, then I will.
Nick: Sharon, you need to listen to me right now.
Sharon: Oh, no. No, I don't! No, I don't, Nick, not anymore!
Nick: Sharon, please! Look, I know that you don't want to hear that this man you married who vowed to love and honor you has been lying to you over and over again, but it is true, and it is all in here if you'll just look at it. You know what? "Today, I told Adam that Dr. Taylor had molested me. Typical Adam-- he said maybe we should try and use this to blackmail the creep." This is just the beginning. But it proves that Adam knew what kind of person Taylor was, and he still hooked him up with Ashley. Just--please. Read the rest, and you will see that this is the real deal.
Jack: Phyllis, I didn't know you were stopping by.
Phyllis: Yeah, obviously not.
Diane: Hey, did you and dad have fun?
Kyle: Oh, we built a snowman. You should have come.
Diane: Wish I had.
Phyllis: Ah, I bet. Hey, Kyle, how are you? Do you remember me?
Kyle: Not really.
Phyllis: Yeah, well-- well, you were-- you were really little when I last saw you. Well, now you're a handsome young man.
Diane: Well, he takes after his father.
Jack: So was there a reason for you dropping by?
Patty: Yes, I was wondering the same thing.
Phyllis: I needed to talk to you about something very important, but, um, uh, you--you need time alone with your son, so I'll let you two--
Diane: That's so understanding of you. I'll get your coat.
Phyllis: I have it. Don't worry.
Diane: Well, speaking of coats, let's get out of this wet one.
Kyle: Okay.
Phyllis: Are you nuts?
Patty: I beg your pardon.
Phyllis: Bringing that woman into your life? You're a lot nicer than I thought, or you're insane.
Jack: You all right? Diane said you had to go back to the hospital. Was it a patient?
Patty: (Inhales deeply) Yeah. (Sighs) Patty's awake.
Jack: Is she all right?
Patty: She's all right, but she's as delusional and... (Sighs) Disturbed as she always was. In her mind, she... (Sighs) She thinks she's lost the love of her life still.
Jack: (Sighs)
Patty: Some people never recover from that.
Kevin: I just wish I could get a sign, anything, to know that Jana was okay.
Gloria: You just have to believe she is.
Kevin: I have believed. I believed that she would be home by now, that I would at least hear from her. What good has that done me? (Sighs) You know, I just-- the whole time I was talking, I had all these images in my head-- you know, the last time I saw her, the night I proposed, our wedding night, and... (Sighs) Mom, if somebody has hurt her--
Gloria: Stop it. Stop it. Do not picture those things. Do what Jana would do. Send out beautiful, positive energy into the universe.
(Cell phone rings)
Kevin: It's Chance. Hello? You're kidding. No, I-I mean, well, I just wasn't expecting that. Okay. All right, keep me posted.
Gloria: What? What?
Kevin: Um, well, Jana's credit card was used at some stores on Lake Shore Drive in Chicago.
Gloria: What would she be doing there?
Kevin: I don't know. Chance is gonna look into it.
Gloria: That's good, Honey. Now we have an idea where she might be.
Kevin: (Sighs) Well, no, not really. I mean, well, just-- just 'cause her credit card is in Chicago, that doesn't mean that she is.
Daisy: (Sighs)
Daisy: (Sighs) Just finished part one of the plan. Moving on to phase two.
Ryder: This isn't a spy movie.
Daisy: Would you chill? I'm the one saving our butts here. If all of this goes the way it's supposed to, you won't have to worry about Kevin anymore.
Jana: Was that Daisy? You're not happy with your sister, are you?
Ryder: Things are the way they are. And the sooner you recognize that, the better off you'll be.
Jana: (Winces) God. (Sniffles) (Sighs heavily) Ryder, you're not like her. (Sniffles) Whether you like me or not, you know that this is really wrong. (Sighs) But you could do something about it.
Ryder: Nice speech.
Jana: Please. Please, don't go, Ryder. Please.
Jana: Kevin, please hear me. Feel how close I am to you. Feel how much I miss you. Whatever Ryder and Daisy are trying to make you think, don't believe it. Just remember-- remember how much I love you. Just know I would never try to hurt you. Remember that. Don't forget how much I love you. Please don't forget. Remember how much I love you. (Sighs)
(Phone ringing)
(Cell phone rings)
Kevin: Hello?
Jana: Stop looking for me!
Kevin: H--Jana? Jana? Hello?
(Phone hangs up)
Gloria: What? What?
Kevin: Hello? Jan--hello? Hello? Hello?
Gloria: What's wrong? What's wrong?
Kevin: That was Jana. Hello?
Gloria: What did she say?
Kevin: She said to stop looking for her.
Gloria: Why would she say that?
Kevin: She wouldn’t. Not unless she was being forced to. The Chicago Grand.
Gloria: Chicago? Honey, I'll tell Chance and Michael.
Kevin: Okay.
Sharon: You're right. These are Skye’s words. There's even a passage in there about, um, a time when he took her to a-a bar in Boston. They ran into the Red Sox. He had mentioned that to me before. Only he didn't tell me the reason why he took her there was to get her mind off of what that creep did to her.
Nick: I'm so sorry. I want to kill this guy for what he did to you.
Sharon: After you and Phyllis and Ashley had confronted him at the Newman ranch, I asked him if any of those accusations were true, and I told him that if he didn't come clean with me, that we were over.
Nick: What'd he say?
Sharon: He said that he couldn't live knowing that I doubted him. And then he gave me a choice, um, to either put my faith in him, and move away and move out of town with him, or just leave him.
Nick: Is there anything I can do?
Sharon: This is enough. (Sniffles) I just wish I understood. I mean, Ashley was his biggest defender. I just--why would he put her in the hands of someone who he knew was-- was unstable?
Nick: Maybe it wasn't about Ashley. I've been wondering about this. Maybe it was his way of getting back at Dad.
Sharon: (Sighs) But Victor had let him move back into the ranch. He let him back into the family fold.
Nick: That doesn't mean he ever stopped hating him. He knew Dad fell apart after Sabrina died. Maybe he thought hurting another woman Dad loved would be perfect revenge.
Sharon: But Dr. Taylor never hurt Ashley, right?
Nick: It's-- it's what she recalls.
Sharon: Well, he was certainly on his best behavior with me. I mean, I-it's hard for me to believe that the man who held my hand that night through that nightmare was capable of what's in this diary.
Nick: Even if Taylor was completely professional with you and Ashley, he still had a pattern of deviant behavior. And Adam put Ashley in his care regardless.
Sharon: (Sniffles) I promised that I would stand by him forever. Now I-I don't know how I could stomach the sight of him.
Nick: Now that you read this, tell me where Adam is.
Sharon: I told Victor, I don't know. Nick, that's the truth. I expected him to be at the hearing today just like everybody else.
Nick: Maybe he knows we're closing in on him. If he is stupid enough to come back here, go pack a bag. I'll take you to your mom's, wherever you want to go.
Sharon: I'm not leaving, Nick, come on.
Nick: Sharon--
Sharon: Nick, I'm not a child, okay? When my husband gets back here, and he will, because he loves me-- you know, no matter what else is going on, that's one thing that I know is true. And when he gets back here, I will deal with him. And I don't need you worrying about me.
Nick: If there ever is a time to worry, it is now.
Sharon: I will handle this.
Nick: You call me if you need anything.
Sharon: I will.
Emily: (Sighs) Please. Please help me. (Sighs)
Paul: Okay, good news. The doctor says you're gonna make a full recovery.
Emily: (Sighs) You're not hear-- hearing me. (Sighs)
Paul: I know, Pattycake. You're--you're angry and confused. I don't blame you.
Emily: (Sighs) Y-you gave me a sedative.
Paul: I don't want you to worry about a thing. We can deal with everything else once you're stronger, okay?
Emily: (Sighs)
Paul: Just sleep now. You gotta get better.
Jack: So the hot chocolate do the trick?
Diane: How did you know he likes marshmallows?
Jack: Oh, maybe 'cause I do.
Diane: Ah, like father, like son.
Jack: Hey, don't tell me you don't like marshmallows.
Patty: No, I'm just waiting for it to cool.
Diane: You know, I really wish we would have gotten a chance to talk more. Maybe next time.
Patty: Uh, next time. Uh, sure, yes. I look forward to it.
Diane: Well, you know what? We should go, or we'll miss our flight.
Patty: (Sighs) Yeah, you don't want to do that. (Chuckles)
Jack: I had a great time.
Kyle: Me, too.
Jack: I'm really proud of you, Son. You have no idea. You've turned into a great kid. And I know that wasn't my doing.
Diane: Oh, don't be so sure.
Jack: Hey, don't forget our deal.
Kyle: I won’t.
Diane: What deal?
Kyle: The next time a father/son event comes up, Dad wants to be there.
Diane: Well, I hope he is. (Sighs) It was really great seeing you.
Jack: Yeah.
Diane: Mm. And, you know, this wasn't just a gift for Jack. It was just really special for all of us.
Patty: Oh. Well, have a safe trip back. (Chuckles)
Jack: Hey, do me a favor, call me when you get back?
Diane: Okay.
Kyle: Got it.
Jack: Bye, Mister.
Diane: Let's get your coat, Honey.
Kyle: Bye, Dad.
Diane: Here.
Kyle: Oh, thanks.
Jack: Here you go.
Diane: Yep. Bye. Thanks.
Jack: Bye.
Patty: Bye.
Kyle: Bye.
Jack: Love you, Buddy.
Kyle: Love you, Dad.
Diane: Put your coat on. Quick.
Kyle: Yeah.
Patty: (Sighs)
Jack: Mwah.
Patty: What was that for?
Jack: Oh, I think most women would be resentful or jealous if an ex suddenly showed up. You welcomed them with open arms.
Patty: (Sighs) You're making too much of it.
Jack: No, I don't think so. You helped me bridge a relationship with my son, and I am forever grateful, and you did that because you know me. You know me, Emily Peterson, better than anyone else.
Patty: (Sighs)
Kevin: Jana! Jana, are you there? (Sighs) Jana. Jana, it's Kevin. Listen, Honey, just-- just-- just make a sound or something, so I know you're in there, okay? (Pounding on door) Jana, come on, Baby. (Sighs) Jana. (Pounding on door)
(Pills rattle)
Ryder: Maybe this'll help.
Jana: Thank you.
Ryder: Yeah, whatever.
Jana: I really appreciate it.
Ryder: I gotta go.
Paul: I-I tried to keep her in the present. I-I-I wanted her to concentrate on getting healthy, and not worry about what happens once she's back in the institution.
Dr. Stanley: She'll only be restrained if necessary when she gets back.
Paul: Yeah, but they're gonna monitor her more closely, right?
Dr. Stanley: To prevent her from harming herself again.
Paul: Yeah. You know, she was, um, she was suffering so much already. And to know that she even has a-a-a longer road to recovery really doesn't seem fair.
Emily: (Whispers) Jack.
Jack: I knew marrying you would change my life. I had no idea how much.
Patty: Mm.
(Wind howls)
Patty: (Gasps)
(Thunder crashes)
Patty: (Sighs) (Sighs)
Jack: Hey. Why don't we take this upstairs?
Patty: (Whispering) You go, and I'll be right up, okay?
Jack: Okay.
Patty: (Quietly) How much more of this do you think I can take? First Diane, then Phyllis, then you? You all want Jack, but you can't have him, because he's mine. He's... (Voice breaking) Mine, you he-- (Sobs) (Sobs) Patty, stop it. Stop, stop, stop, stop it! (Exhales) Okay, calm down. Calm down. Calm down. Because Jack's not gonna love you. (Sobs) Go to your happy place. Remember? Pauly would say, "Go to that safe place." (Sniffles) When we were kids. (Chuckles) (Sniffles) When we were kids at the lake. Remember? Mm-hmm. (Inhales deeply) We were happy. I will be happy again.
Jack: Hey, what's taking so long?
Patty: (Sighs)
Patty: I'm coming. (Laughs) Mm. (Growls) Mm. (Chuckles)
Jack: Whoa.
Phyllis: And then Emily came back, so it was me, Emily, Jack, Diane and Kyle. It was lovely. And I really didn't have a chance to talk to Jack about the diary. Sorry.
Nick: Well, if Sharon didn't want my help, I doubt she's gonna want Jack's. I'm just relieved she finally read the damn thing.
Phyllis: Yeah, it must have been difficult for her to see it in black-and-white.
Nick: I am glad that Sharon can finally now just get away from that creep.
Phyllis: So am I.
Nick: It's a good thing, right?
Phyllis: Oh, it's a really good thing.
Sharon: Adam, it's me again. Um, I haven't heard from you. And I'm, uh, I'm just beginning to worry. So I need you to come home, okay? Please.
(Cell phone snaps shut)
Sharon: After the way you lied to me, you'd better come home and face me.
Next on "The Young and the Restless"...
Billy: Do you recognize this painting?
Jill: No, but here it is again.
Jana: How can you defend Tom after what he's put you through?
Ryder: He didn't lay a hand on me.
Kevin: Every single thing in here is designed to make her look guilty. It's like somebody has staged this.
