Traci: Y-you want me to give Colleen's heart to Victor?
Nikki: Well, as I said, first, we would have to determine if they were a match. Michael's looking into all the other options, but when Abby told us about Colleen, I--
Billy: No.
Nikki: I know it's a lot to ask.
Billy: That bastard is the reason we're here. He's the reason why Colleen is-- no. It's just no.
Jack: I'm gonna have to side with Billy on this one.
Nikki: Jack, please.
Jack: We haven't had time to process the idea that we're losing Colleen. You can't just walk in here with this insane request.
Nikki: I-I don't mean to make things more difficult. I really don't. It's just that-- we really don't have a lot of time.
Billy: Aw, well, that's too damn bad.
Jack: I know you're in a difficult situation. I do. There is no way Victor is getting Colleen's heart, no way in hell.
Nikki: (Sighs)
Victor: I'm waiting.
Victoria: You're drugged up, Dad. You need to rest.
Victor: No. I don't want anything to be left unsaid.
Nick: There's another time.
Victor: You just say whatever you want to say to me. I may not be here much longer, so just tell me what you were always afraid to tell me.
Jill: It's a very long time since a handsome young man arranged a birthday dinner for me, although I wish I wasn't the one turning a year older.
Chance: Okay, all right. Well, I'll tell you what, I will, uh, nix the whole cupcake idea with all the different sparklers. I forget how many go on there.
Jill: Oh, ho ho. You'd better.
Chance: (Laughs) No, no, not to worry. But--there is a "But"-- I do have one more birthday surprise for you which I hope you're not gonna hold against me.
Phillip: Uh-oh.
Nina: Yeah, we all know how Jill likes surprises.
Jill: Chance...
Chance: Yeah?
Jill: What is it?
Chance: It's not so much "What" as it is "Who."
Kay: Happy birthday, Jill. Mm.
Sharon: Oh! Aah!
(Alarm wailing)
Sharon: Wha--what's going on?
Dr. Taylor: Uh, I'm sure everything's fine. I'll just find out.
Sharon: (Grunts) Oh, no, don't leave me. Please don't leave me.
Dr. Taylor: I'll be right outside the door.
Sharon: (Groans) Oh!
(Breathing heavily)
Dr. Taylor: Adam, where are you going?
Adam: We needed some time. I bought us some. You'd better get back in there to your mother-to-be before you get locked out.
Ashley: Oh, what's happening?
(Gasps)
Woman: The building will be in lockdown mode in approximately five seconds. Please return to your rooms immediately.
Ashley: What?
(Lock beeps)
(Door locks)
Ashley: What?
Adam: Apparently, uh, someone escaped, and they're gonna stay in lockdown until they find him or her.
Ashley: Adam, this baby's not gonna wait. I gotta get to a hospital.
Adam: Ash, that's-- that's just not an option.
Ashley: Aah!
Adam: What--what--what is it?
Ashley: Another contraction.
Adam: Are you okay?
Ashley: Oh, God, this baby's not gonna wait. I gotta get to the hospital, Adam.
Adam: Ash, you know what? You just need to stay calm, okay?
Ashley: Adam, you gotta stay calm. You gotta stay calm, Adam. You're gonna deliver this baby. You have to.
(Moans)
Sharon: (Whimpers) It's too early. Oh, I'm not ready. She's not ready.
Dr. Taylor: Have you done Lamaze?
Sharon: Yes, before. Not this time.
Dr. Taylor: Do you remember the breathing exercises?
Sharon: I need to be in a hospital where they can monitor my baby's heart rate and in a sterile environment, not here.
Dr. Taylor: Damn it.
Sharon: What? What's wrong?
Dr. Taylor: I've got nothing to give you for the pain.
Sharon: What?
(Gasps)
Dr. Taylor: Don't worry. I've done this a lot of times before. We've got plenty of hot water and towels.
Sharon: (Sighs)
Dr. Taylor: I'll make everything as sterile and clean as I possibly can.
Sharon: Oh! Aah! Just please promise me my baby's gonna be okay. Promise me! Aah!
Adam: Okay, you--you just gotta try and stay calm, okay?
Ashley: I'm scared.
Adam: Um, getting upset-- it's gonna not be good for you or the--
Ashley: I'm scared. I'm scared. I'm scared. I thought I was gonna give birth in a hospital with Dr. Taylor by my side. What if something happens to her?
Adam: Nothing is gonna happen, Ashley.
Ashley: Aah!
Adam: What--wha--what is it?
Ashley: Oh, the pain's getting worse. Oh!
Adam: Hold on a second.
Ashley: (Whimpers)
Adam: Hold on. Hold on. The doctor showed me something earlier this morning. Yes.
Ashley: What? What is it?
Adam: He said-- he said you could take these I-if you got agitated.
Ashley: What about the baby, Adam? I can't take anything.
Adam: Listen, don't you think that's the first question that I asked him? Come on.
Ashley: I can't risk it. I can't.
Adam: Look at me, Ashley. Look at me. I would rather die than let something happen to you or your--your child, okay? So just--you gotta take these.
Ashley: Okay. I never would have gotten this far without you.
Adam: I know, okay? You gotta go the rest of the way with me, though, all right? You just-- in order to do this right, you have to relax.
Ashley: Aah! Oh!
Adam: Take these.
Ashley: (Gasps)
Adam: Ash.
Ashley: (Sighs) Okay.
Adam: Okay, that's great.
Ashley: Okay.
Adam: That--that--that-- that--that's great.
Ashley: (Moans)
Adam: That's gonna do the trick. You'll see.
Victor: (Sighs) I know I've hurt both of you.
Victoria: Daddy, you said everything that you needed to say in those beautiful letters that you gave us when we thought we lost you in Mexico. I'll never forget how you told me how much I was like you, and how you said you-- you would live on in-- Daddy, just rest. Please, just rest right now, okay?
Victor: You want to say something, son?
Nick: (Sighs)
Victor: Just tell me.
Nick: It's not important now, Dad.
Victor: No, come on. Tell me.
Nick: I was just thinking about how amazing you were when Summer was in that coma. You and Mom never left her side because Phyllis and I couldn't be there. Was that because of guilt? Because you felt responsible?
Victoria: Nick--
Nick: He wanted to know.
Victor: It's all right. I hate what happened. I pray every day for a full recovery. You've got to believe me.
Nick: I do, Dad. I do.
Nikki: I'm not here for myself. I'm not even here for Victor. I'm here for the kids. (Voice breaking) I don't want them to lose their father.
Jack: There are tens of thousands of people waiting for organs, Nikki. None of them tormented Colleen the way Victor did.
Nikki: (Normal voice) And I understand your resistance.
Billy: That's big of you.
Nikki: What about your other niece Abby? To lose Victor so soon after Brad's death would devastate her. And what about Ashley? Do you really want the baby she's carrying to grow up without knowing her father?
Billy: I think she'll be better off.
Nikki: I hate having to ask this of you. I know how much you're suffering. But if Colleen were to be a match, it would--
Billy: It would not matter. It seems as if a double funeral is in order because the answer is no.
Traci: That's enough, Billy. I need--need some time.
Billy: What?
Traci: I know you don't have very much of that--
Jack: Traci, listen--
Traci: No, I-I didn't say yes. I j--
Nikki: I'm very grateful for you to even consider it. Um, wh-- have you seen Ashley? I would think that she would want to be here.
Jack: Ashley's been through quite enough lately.
Nikki: The baby's okay?
Jack: The baby's fine. We want things to stay that way. That's why Ashley doesn't know anything about Colleen's condition.
Nikki: Okay. Thank you.
Billy: What are you guys thinking?
Steve: Watch it, Billy.
Traci: (Sobs)
Billy: Hey, you cannot take something as pure as Colleen's heart and put it in that monster, whoever he is.
Traci: He took the bullets that were meant for our brother, Billy. (Sighs) I don't know. Maybe if he has my daughter's heart, it will continue to change him for the better.
(Sighs shakily)
Billy: Jack? Will you talk to her, please? Will you tell her that she can't do this? Jack?
Traci: (Sniffles)
Jack: (Sighs)
Billy: (Clears throat)
Chance: Oh, God.
Kay: I'd hate to see that now. Did you really do it?
Jill: I did!
Kay: (Laughs)
Chance: (Laughs)
Nina: Somebody, pinch me. I think this is the first time the five of us have actually sat down to dinner together as a family.
Kay: (Chuckles)
Jill: I know. It feels really good to be together.
Phillip: Without yelling.
Nina: Or crying.
Kay: Or cake flying.
Chance: I decided to skip the cake tonight, thank you.
Kay: Smart boy.
Jill: Oh, smart boy.
Nina: (Chuckles)
Chance: (Chuckles)
Nina: I'm dying to see what you got for Jill.
Jill: Oh, right. This is suitable to be opened in front of an audience, yes?
Kay: Well, it's not lingerie, if that's what you mean.
Jill: (Chuckles)
Phillip: Uh, thank you for sparing us from that.
All: (Laugh)
Jill: Oh. "This is actually a gift you would be giving me and all of Chancellor Industries-- the pleasure of your company on a permanent basis." You want me to come back?
Kay: Well, if you can promise you'll get along with Neil and break your current obligations.
Jill: You know what? That's not gonna be a problem. (Sighs) Chance, I think this is just about the best birthday I've had in a long, long time. Thank you, Honey.
(Cell phone rings)
Kay: Mm, pardon me. Yes, hello? Nikki? Where are you? Well, are you-- are you all right? I mean, I've been so worried. Yes, of course. I'll be right there. Um, you'll have to excuse me. That was Nikki. She's, um, she's at the hospital with Victor, and, uh, she'd like me to come now. Oh, God. Um, listen, uh, tomorrow, we'll discuss, uh, your start date.
Jill: Yeah.
Nina: Wow.
Phillip: Oh.
(Clears throat)
Jill: Well, it's pretty predictable, isn't it? She says she wanted to be here, but then Nikki calls, and she just shows her true colors, huh?
Nina: Jill, that's not really fair. I mean, she's been worried sick about not being able to reach Nikki for weeks now.
Jill: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Chance: Well, I can attest to that. I mean, every second she has, she's on the phone trying to track her down.
Jill: Honey, Honey, Honey. This isn't the first time, okay? This has become a pattern over the years. Nikki calls, and Katherine just drops everything. But it's not surprising, considering that she's the daughter Katherine always wished she had.
(Sighs)
Nina: Why do you do this?
Jill: What?
Nina: A-act like Katherine going to help a friend is all about dissing you. It's not. She came to your birthday. She sang "Happy birthday." She gave you a gift. She wants you to come back to work for her. If that doesn't show that she cares, I don't know what does.
Phillip: Nina's right. I mean, how can you expect Katherine to think that you want her in your life when you react to something like a silly phone call like that? Not that I'm one to talk, you know, with my history.
Jill: No, you're not.
Phillip: (Chuckles) But if you want to be like a daughter to her, maybe you should start acting like one.
Billy: Have you two lost your minds? Don't you realize that every time that you look at that son of a bitch, you're gonna be reminded about what he took from you? From all of us?
Mac: What's going on?
Billy: Nikki just walked in here with a ridiculous appeal to put CeeCee's heart into Victor Newman's body, and my sister and brother, it seems, are actually considering this, which I have to tell you, Jack, it's a bit shocking coming from you.
Jack: This guy took three bullets that were intended for me, Billy.
Billy: From a woman that he hired to go after you! Hi--his showing up and playing the hero was less about saving you and more about covering his own ass.
Mac: Billy!
Billy: It's true. I mean, he--he--he knows that everybody in this town has figured out his connection to that wack job, Jack.
Jack: It's more than that, Billy. There's also Ashley.
Traci: What about Ashley?
Jack: I convinced Ashley to have herself committed.
Billy: Yes, after Victor Newman pushed her over the edge.
Jack: How is she gonna react-- how is she gonna react when I tell her that not only is Victor dead, but her family had a chance to save him and didn't?
Billy: Honestly, Jack, I think that she'll even understand why we didn't.
Steve: There is no "We" here. This is Traci's decision. I think we should give her a moment to clear her head.
Traci: (Sniffles) I'd like you to stay, okay? Look, I--don't worry. I'm not gonna do anything until I've talked to you both, okay?
Billy: (Clears throat)
Traci: (Sniffles)
Billy: Hey, what's wrong with you?
Jack: I didn't say--
Billy: Did you--did you drink the Newman Kool-aid? What's wrong with you?
Jack: I didn't say I was for a transplant.
Billy: I can't believe you're even considering it, Jack. W--look, we cannot take Colleen's legacy like this, not--not for Victor Newman.
Victoria: (Giggles)
Nikki: Hey. What's going on?
Nick: Uh, Vick is just trying to embarrass me with stories from my youth.
Victoria: Well, you remember how Nick wanted a live mastodon when he was little, don't you?
Nikki: You know, your father almost had one built at the ranch for you to play on.
Victoria: (Chuckles)
Nick: What? I didn't know that.
Nikki: Well, there's a lot you didn't know.
Victor: Mm.
Nikki: You know, it's not too late for Summer and Reed if you want to still build it.
Victor: Mm, I love to see my grandchildren play.
Nick: You know, speaking of grandchildren, there's something you both should know. I wasn't gonna tell anyone until I talked to Phyllis first, but I trust you can keep this under wraps.
Victoria: What?
Nick: You guys are gonna be grandparents again. Turns out that Sharon's baby is mine after all.
Nikki: Oh, Honey. Oh. Baby, I'm so happy for you. I know that's what you wanted.
Nick: Thanks.
Victor: Another Newman... that makes me happy.
Kay: Oh, thank God.
Nikki: Oh, Katherine.
Kay: Thank God you're back.
Nikki: Oh.
Kay: Oh.
Nikki: I hate that you were so worried.
Kay: Well, I-- and not just me, you daughter was very upset. Darling, days turned into weeks, and--and no one heard anything from you, and after what I have been through, my God, it was very difficult not to think the worst.
Nikki: I'm so sorry. You know, I did send letters to the ranch for everybody...
Kay: Wh--
Nikki: But apparently, they were never received. I'm sorry. It just took me a lot longer to get my head straightened out than I thought it would.
Kay: All right, now that-- now that you're back, how--how's your head now that you're back?
Nikki: Well... (Sighs) Now instead of worrying that I'll ever make peace with Victor, I worry each time that I see him it will be the last.
Kay: Oh, wh-- what does the doctor say?
Nikki: If he doesn't get a new heart soon, he's not gonna make it. So Michael is working overtime trying to find a donor, but so far, nothing. Then, of course, there's Colleen.
Kay: Yes, that's tragic.
Nikki: It's horrible, which is why I hated even asking Traci to consider giving Colleen's heart to Victor.
Kay: (Gasps) You have spoken to her?
Nikki: Oh, yeah. All of the Abbotts. You know, it's been a very long time since I have fought for anything on Victor's behalf.
Kay: Well, why were you fighting at all? I mean, where was Ashley?
Ashley: I thought you said the pills were gonna help.
Adam: (Sighs) Look, they--they will help.
Ashley: (Groans)
Adam: You just--you just have to breathe in and out...
Ashley: (Sobs)
Adam: Like they taught you. Breathe in--in through the nose, out through the mouth.
Ashley: (Exhales slowly)
Adam: There you go. There you go. Just like that.
Ashley: (Exhales) I think, uh, I think--I think I'm having another contraction.
(Sighs)
(Whimpers)
Adam: There you go. (Sighs) Just sleep. (Sighs) It'll all be over soon, this whole--this whole mess.
(Sighs)
Sharon: (Moans) Nick? I need Nick.
Dr. Taylor: It's okay. I'm right here.
Sharon: (Moans)
Dr. Taylor: I'm right here.
[Sharon hallucinating]
Nick: You can squeeze my hand if it helps.
Sharon: Oh, Nick. You came. I'm so glad you're here.
Nick: It's happening. Cassie's dream's about to come true. Our little girl is finally on her way.
Sharon: Mm.
Billy: There's no way that CeeCee's gonna be the one that saves Victor Newman. I mean, he doesn't deserve it.
Mac: You're talking like its trading Colleen's life for Victor's, but she's already gone.
Billy: Yeah, she's gone because of him. He took her, okay? And his failing heart is the punishment for all this.
Mac: He's not the one who's gonna be punished if he dies.
Billy: What, are you referring to Ashley's baby and Abby? Well, I know it sounds bad, but, Honey, they're probably better off.
Mac: You said that Colleen wanted to be a donor. That means she wanted to help someone.
Billy: Yeah, not to Victor. And you know what? Th--there's no way that CeeCee wanted that, and--and I'm gonna do everything I damn well can to make sure it doesn't happen.
Nikki: Maybe it was just too much for Ashley with both Colleen and Victor's lives hanging in the balance.
Kay: Well, is it too much for you? I mean, after all, you left to get away from the drama, and now you're right back here in the thick of it.
Nikki: Katherine, I had to come back. I had to be here for the kids.
Kay: And Victor. Hmm?
Nikki: You know he's the reason why I called off the wedding.
Kay: Before you did.
Nikki: I wish I didn't feel like I came back just to say good-bye all over again.
[Jack daydreaming]
John: This could be the toughest decision you've ever faced, Jackie.
Jack: The thing is, Dad, it's not my call. It's Traci's.
John: Well, Traci's? Hmm. Well, when you were kids, she never made a move without her big brother's approval. She still values your opinion.
Jack: If only I had one.
John: Not very difficult.
Jack: Why? Because "The mustache" is involved?
John: Oh, there's no question that Newman has committed serious crimes against our family.
Jack: Yeah, which is why my first instinct when Nikki walked in asking for Colleen's heart was to say, "No way in hell!"
John: But, Jack, this isn't just about you. He's Ashley's husband, Abby's father.
Jack: (Scoffs) That didn't stop him from putting the screws to Abby's sister and Ashley's niece.
John: (Sighs) Look, Jack... (Sighs) When he had a chance to let you die, he risked his own life to save yours.
Jack: Well, maybe Billy was right. Maybe the only reason he was out to that lake was to save his own life.
John: Could be.
Jack: Excruciating as it was to lose a son, knowing that his life wasn't pointless, that another child could live because of him-- it--I don't know. It made it more bearable.
John: So you're saying that keeping Newman alive wouldn't generate the same feelings?
Jack: We both know what he's done to Ashley. Now he's brought my unstable ex-wife to town to basically murder me...
John: (Sighs)
Jack: And in the process, my niece Colleen is--
John: All right, Jack. Jack, Jack, I don't need a laundry list of reasons to hate Victor Newman.
Jack: So you agree that world's a better place without him?
John: I doubt if his family would agree with that.
Jack: S-so you're telling me you think we should let him live?
John: It doesn't matter what I'm telling you.
Jack: Damn it, Dad, I need answers.
John: Well, damn it, son, I don't have those answers. Now you have gotta look inside yourself and consider this very carefully and figure out what's right.
Jack: I don't know what's right. I don't know what's right. Dad, I promised you I would look out for the Abbott family, I'd protect them. Look at us, all of us-- we're in pain, we're miserable. I don't have any answers, and Traci needs one now.
Nick: I don't know what kills me more-- the fact that he could die, or that my daughter almost died because of him.
Victoria: In his own way, I think he was trying to say he was sorry, Nick.
Nick: Doesn't change what happened to Summer, or make me forget that it happened.
Victoria: I understand.
Nick: (Sighs) I feel awful that I'm holding a grudge. This could be our last hour with him.
Victoria: You know, I'm not saying that you should let Dad off the hook, but I think right now, he needs to feel that his family is at peace with him.
Nick: You're right, as usual.
Victoria: He seemed happy about Sharon's baby, though. How do you feel about it?
Nick: (Sighs) I love that little girl so much. She's not even here yet. And I'm committed to raising her, but I'm not leaving Summer and Phyllis.
(Footsteps approach)
(Knock on door)
Kay: Am I interrupting?
Nick: No, of course not.
Victoria: No, come in.
Kay: Hi, Sweetheart.
Nick: Hi.
Kay: How is he?
Victoria: He's still pretty weak.
Kay: Uh, your mother told me about Colleen. Heard any word yet if Traci's agreed to donate her heart to Victor?
Nick: Nothing yet.
Victor: Kath-- Katherine.
Kay: (Chuckles) Hello, Dear, dear friend. Now listen. You know how much I hate disappearing acts, so don't you get any grand ideas.
Victor: Mm.
Victoria: We'll just give you two a chance to catch up.
Kay: Would you please? Thank you. Thank you, Sweetheart.
Nick: We'll be back, Dad.
Kay: (Sighs) (Sighs) Victor... (Sighs)
Victor: I'm so glad you're here.
Kay: Yeah, I am, too, though I-I must say I prefer much cheerier...
Victor: Mm-hmm.
Kay: Places than this. Next time, maybe.
Victor: Mm-hmm.
Kay: (Chuckles)
Victor: If I don't make it--
Kay: I don't want to hear you talk like that, Victor. Do you hear me?
Victor: But if I don't make it, I want you to-- to look after things, okay?
Kay: Now you--
Victor: You'll be my eyes and ears.
Kay: I will. I--of course. Yes, I will. But I highly doubt I will need to be.
Victor: I'm so glad you're here.
Kay: After what I've been through...
Victor: Mm-hmm.
Kay: My friend, at least I've learned to believe in miracles.
Victor: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Nikki: Hey.
Jack: I was just leaving.
Nikki: No, no, I-I actually came to talk to you.
Jack: About Victor.
Nikki: What else?
Jack: It's Traci's call, Nikki.
Nikki: I know. But you and I both know the kind of influence you have on her, just as we both know how difficult this decision is because of the baby we lost.
Jack: I was just thinking about that.
Nikki: That was a powerful moment when you held that other baby and knew that a part of ours would live on through him.
Jack: It was different. It was anonymous. It wasn't Victor, who as I remember, was the reason we lost the child.
Nikki: (Sighs) Same vendetta.
Jack: You know what? I could end that vendetta right now by convincing Traci not to do this transplant.
Nikki: Jack... (sighs) Couldn't you try to get past the fact that it's Victor and just look at it as a human being who has a family who loves him and relies on him? Please, just try to find it in your heart to get past this war and look at it as a selfless act that your family can-- can give a man in need.
Jack: Just take Victor out of the equation? That's impossible, Nikki. No matter what decision, the fact that it's Victor Newman will be the determining factor.
Sharon: (Moans) Oh, I want my baby.
(Sighs)
Nick: She's almost here. I just need you to push.
Sharon: (Sighs)
Dr. Taylor: That's it. Come on.
Sharon: Where's Nick? He--he was just--
Nick: Sharon, one big push.
Sharon: (Sighs) Oh, thank God.
(Sighs)
Dr. Taylor: You're doing great. You're almost there.
Sharon: No. No, I-I want Nick. I want Nick. I-I need Nick.
Nick: I'm right here. Everything's gonna be just fine.
Sharon: (Sighs) (Sighs) (Moans)
Ashley: Mm. Where's my baby?
Adam: Hey, Ash. Uh, the, uh, the nurse came in here. She--she had a, uh, a master key and she was doing a head count, and she saw the baby and wanted to take it away and just check it out.
Ashley: Is she all right?
Adam: Oh, she's-- she's perfect, Ash.
Ashley: I-I want to see her.
Adam: Well, you can after, uh, after lockdown's over.
Ashley: I don't remember delivering her, Adam.
Adam: (Sighs) Well, that's, uh, that's strange. I mean, you--you--you were awake throughout the whole thing. You were in a lot of pain, though, and then-- and once the baby came, you-- you passed out.
Ashley: Adam, it doesn't look like the baby was born in this room, not at all.
Adam: Well, I-I cleaned up after the nurse left, so--
Ashley: Something doesn't feel right. I want to see her. Bring me my baby right now. Bring her to me right now.
Adam: (Sighs)
Jill: Katherine? How's Victor?
Kay: Uh, he needs a transplant.
Jill: What?
Kay: A new heart, or he'll die.
Jill: Oh, my God. I had no idea.
Kay: I assume that dinner is over.
Jill: Well, uh, yeah, I-I cut it short. I-- I just figured since whatever was happening involved two of your dearest friends, maybe you could use the support.
Kay: Thank you.
Jill: Um, I could stay here with you while you wait for word, if you'd like.
Kay: I'd like that very much.
Billy: I know you think this isn't the time to hold a grudge.
Mac: I just don't want you jumping all over your sister if she does decide to donate Colleen's heart to Victor.
Billy: I'm not-- how can I hold back? We both know that there are thousands of people out there who deserve Colleen's heart more than Victor Newman.
Mac: Yeah, but that's not up for you to decide.
Billy: That old man's time is up. I say get him a bucket, let him kick it.
Mac: He's a human being, Billy.
Billy: He's not a human-- he is the reason Colleen is dead. That makes him a murderer, and I think that he needs to rot in hell.
Nikki: How are you feeling?
Victor: My hands keep falling asleep.
Nikki: Hmm.
Victor: That night you left, there's so much I wanted to say to you.
Nikki: Shh. There'll be plenty of time for you to tell me...
Victor: Mm.
Nikki: When you're feeling better.
Victor: Mm-hmm. That feels good.
Nikki: Good.
Victor: My hands feel so cold.
Traci: How can she be gone if her heart's still beating?
Steve: What can I do?
Traci: You're here. (Sniffles) That's enough. (Sniffles) Sweetie... (Voice breaking) I just wish I knew the right thing to do.
Jack: I know.
Jack: Do it, Trace. Give Colleen's heart to Victor.
Sharon: Aah! Aah!
Nick: Okay. Okay, I can see her. Just one more big push, and Faith is gonna be in her daddy's arms.
Sharon: Okay. (Yells) Aah!
(Baby crying)
Nick: Okay, she's here. You did it. She's here.
Sharon: (Laughs) (Sighs happily) She's here. Oh, she's here. My baby's here. (Laughs) Oh. (Sighs)
Ashley: You're lying to me, Adam. Something happened to her, and you're afraid to tell me.
Adam: Ashley, I am telling you the truth. The baby is fine. Why don't you have a pill and relax and--
Ashley: I don't want a pill. I want my baby!
Woman: Lockdown has been lifted. Attendants will be coming by shortly to check the rooms. Because of the reduced staff, we ask that all patients stay put until a guard or nurse checks in with you.
Adam: Whoa, whoa. What--what are you doing?
Ashley: I'm gonna go find my baby.
Adam: No, no, no, no, no. You're not-- you're not well enough. You're--you're weak. Let me do it, okay?
(Sighs)
Dr. Taylor: (Sighs) Thank God that lockdown is over. Now I can't find a damn orderly in this place.
Adam: This, uh, Sharon's baby?
Dr. Taylor: Yes. How did you know that?
Adam: How is she?
Dr. Taylor: She's not good. She's unconscious. She's lost a lot of blood. What the hell are you doing? Hey!
Adam: Shh, shh, shh. I'm taking the baby, that's what I'm doing.
Dr. Taylor: Are you out of your mind? Stop it!
Adam: I told you everything would be all right. Here she is, your beautiful baby.
Ashley: Oh. Oh. Oh, Sweetheart. Hello, Angel. Hello, my angel.
Baby: (Grunts)
Ashley: I'm your mommy. I'm your mommy.
Baby: (Crying)
Ashley: Oh, no, baby.
Baby: (Crying)
Next on "The Young and the Restless"...
Victor: I'm so grateful to have known you. I've felt no greater love than the love I felt for you.
Sharon: Where is my baby? I want to see my baby now.
Adam: I didn't steal anybody's baby. That's Ashley's daughter.
