Billy: Hey, Jack.

Jack: Morning.

Billy: Get a hold of Ashley?

Jack: No, I didn't call her. I-I thought we should go there in person.

Billy: That's probably a pretty good idea if she's feeling as lousy as I am today.

Jack: Yeah, tell me about it.

Billy: You know, I wish I'd had more time with Dad. I can't believe he's been gone three years.

Jack: I'm sure Ashley will come to the cemetery with us.

Billy: I'm not. She won't even leave the house these days. She won't go anywhere without "The mustache."

Jack: Ahh, she'll come out today. It's about Dad. This is our chance to talk to her privately, to convince her to move back in with us for a while.

Billy: Okay, why are we sitting around here then? Why don't we just go roll out the red carpet for her?

Jack: No, wait. I-I'm serious here.

Billy: I am, too, Jack. I'm as worried about Ashley as you are. All this "I see dead people" talk and--and-- and she's sleepwalking. She's taking sedatives. She is so out of it, she doesn't know what's real and what's not anymore.

Jack: Given her history, I hope she's not hallucinating. Billy, I saw her rocking that empty blanket in her arms, thinking that it was her baby Robert.

Billy: I heard about that.

Jack: She lost any contact with reality.

Billy: Do you think that's what's happening now?

Jack: Oh, God, I hope not.

Billy: She's pretty far gone, Jack. You saw how angry she got when we tried to move her home.

Jack: Which is all the more reason we have to get through to her.

Billy: What are we gonna do? Are we gonna force her to get help?

Jack: Oh, I pray it doesn't come to that. Now let's see how it goes, but we have to convince her she has family, family that cares about her, family that loves her, who can help her in ways that Victor can’t.

Ashley: (Sighs)

Victor: Good morning, my darling.

Ashley: Oh, hey. Have you been up long?

Victor: Just a few minutes.

Ashley: Mm.

Victor: It was so wonderful to have you sleep in my arms last night.

Ashley: Yeah.

Victor: Did you get some good rest?

Ashley: I did. I did.

Victor: You did?

Ashley: I feel much better.

Victor: Yeah?

Ashley: Are you going out?

Victor: Well, I have a meeting in town, but if you'd rather I don't go, I'll stay.

Ashley: No, it's okay. I'm fine.

Victor: You sure?

Ashley: Mm-hmm.

Victor: Then we'll talk later?

Ashley: Yeah, sounds good.

Victor: Okay.

Ashley: (Sighs)

Victor: Mm.

Ashley: Sabrina.

Gloria: (Chuckles)

Michael: Here you go.

Gloria: Thanks for calling me this morning, Mikey.

Michael: Well, I thought you might be having a difficult day.

Gloria: Mm. Three years since John passed away. You know, that man was the love of my life, and I still miss him every day. And, yes, I do love Jeff.

Michael: As you loved William before.

Gloria: Don't tease me, Michael. John Abbott changed my life, treated me like a queen, showed me that I didn't have to be abused by the Tom Fishers of the world. And that wonderful man spent his last days in prison because he defended me against Tom. But we're not going there. No, today, we're gonna celebrate John's life, not focus on his darkest chapter.

Michael: Well, I did ask you here for another reason. (Clears throat) I want to talk about Tom.

Gloria: Why on earth would you want to talk about him?

Michael: Because I helped a young man turn himself in to the police last night, and Kevin believes that this young man is his long-lost brother.

Kevin: I convinced Ryder to confess he killed the guy in the alley.

Daniel: The same kid that came to you for advice? The one that's been hanging out with Deacon? He just decided to open up to you and admit to murdering Balfour?

Kevin: Elkins.

Daniel: Elkins what?

Kevin: Ray Elkins is Thomas Balfour's real name. And for your information, Ryder and Deacon are not friends. Ryder needed a job. Deacon turned him down. And he didn't say it was murder. He said it was an accident. He was trying to stop Elkins from killing you.

Daniel: Oh, yeah, I'll bet. I'll bet that's what he's doing, Kevin. That's why he was wearing a ski mask, right?

Jana: God, I'm just really glad you phoned the police.

Daniel: Why would he confess to you?

Kevin: He heard me on the radio. He's been a victim of abuse, and, um, and there's a chance that we're related.

Daniel: (Laughs) All right, what do you mean, there's a chance you're related?

Kevin: I'm not sure, but I think we might have the same dad.

Jana: He might be Kevin's half brother.

Daniel: Where would you get a ridiculous idea like that?

Kevin: (Sighs) Ryder said his dad's name was Tom-- Tom Callahan. And that is the same name that "Terrible Tom" used when he first came to Genoa City.

Daniel: Okay, Kevin, come on. That is too coincidental. I mean, how do you know that he's telling the truth?

Kevin: I don’t. But if he is, you're off the hook for murder.

Daniel: No. No, I'm telling you everything-- Amber, Ryder, it all leads back to Deacon.

Deacon: Well, good morning.

Amber: Is it?

Deacon: Well, it would have been if you'd stayed the night.

Amber: I prefer Michael and Lauren's inflatable bed.

Deacon: You know, when two people are gonna get married, nothing should keep them apart.

Amber: This isn't a done deal. I said I'd marry you only if Daniel gets off the hook for murder.

Deacon: Yeah, okay, all right. That's in the works. I'm waiting on confirmation any minute now. You're on your way to becoming Mrs. Deacon Sharpe, but just remember that if you renege on our little deal, I've got the evidence to blow this whole thing up, to re-implicate Daniel all over again. Well, I guess it's a good thing that Wisconsin doesn't have a death penalty, right?

Ashley: This is a surprise.

Billy: We come in peace. Jack and I thought that we should be together today, you know.

Jack: We were hoping maybe you'd come out to the cemetery with us.

Billy: You remember, right?

Ashley: Yeah, of course I remember. Today's the day our father died.

Jack: So I thought maybe we could ride out together. We don't get much of a chance to sit together and talk as a family anymore.

Ashley: Couldn't we just do that here?

Billy: Don't you want to pay your respects to Dad?

Ashley: Of course I do, Billy. I'm just not 100% sure that's why you're really here.

Jack: Today is about remembering Dad and spending time together. And, yes, maybe we'd want to talk about how you're doing.

Ashley: Shame on you. Shame on you, Jack, for using the anniversary of our father's death to manipulate me. Shame on you.

Colleen: So I'm gonna put some, uh, flowers on Granddad's grave in a little while. You want to come?

Abby: Oh, I already called Victor's driver to come pick me up. I was kind of hoping to go with my mom later. She's been kind of out of it lately, but today's gonna be hard for her.

Colleen: Yeah, I'm sure it will be.

Abby: I just wish everyone would leave her alone. The more they pressure her, the worse it gets.

(Cell phone beeps)

Abby: (Sighs) Oh, the car's here.

Colleen: Okay.

Abby: Thanks for having me. Love you.

Colleen: Love you. Bye. Oh, and, uh, can you not say anything about J.T. coming over last night? Okay, nothing happened. I--

Abby: I don't even know what you're talking about.

Colleen: Okay, thank you, because I don't want there to be any problems between him and Victoria, okay?

Abby: Yeah, no problem.

Colleen: Okay.

Abby: Okay, bye.

Colleen: Bye.

(Sighs)

J.T.: So what do you got planned for today?

Victoria: (Sighs) Well, um, nothing much. You know, it's the end of August, so everybody's out of town. So we could have an early dinner with the baby if you...

J.T.: Yeah, that sounds good.

Victoria: Wanted. Yeah?

J.T.: Sounds good.

Victoria: All right. So what are you up to?

J.T.: I'm meeting with Paul. We're, uh, trying to track down Mary Jane.

Victoria: Oh. That's good, you know? I-I want her caught just as much as anybody else does.

J.T.: Look, I'm not-- I'm not gonna stop just because your father wants me to, all right?

Victoria: I just-- I want you two to get along, that's all. That's--that's all I'm saying.

J.T.: Look, this woman's crazy. Someone's gotta stop her before she hurts somebody else.

Paul: Hey. Morning, you two.

J.T.: Hey.

Victoria: Hi, Paul. Okay, well, then I'll call you about dinner.

J.T.: All right.

Victoria: All right.

Paul: Victoria all right?

J.T.: (Sighs) Well, we, uh, haven't really been seeing eye to eye lately, especially when it comes to Victor.

Paul: Well, well, my former fiancée and I had the same problem.

J.T.: You heard from Nikki?

Paul: Nope, not a word. I think, uh, that's pretty much done. Anyway, let me see the note that you found.

(Sighs)

J.T.: (Clears throat)

Paul: "If you want to know about Mary Jane, ask Victor Newman."

J.T.: It turns out she's been under our nose the whole time.

Paul: So Mac thought she was a homeless person?

J.T.: Yeah, Mac took her in. She thought she was homeless, let her stay in the back bar. I was putting in a security system, and then when I left, I found that note in my pocket.

Paul: Well, it says, "Victor Newman knows everything." D-did you show this to Victor?

J.T.: Oh, yeah, yeah. I showed him. He just denied it.

Paul: Really? Hmm. Looks like there might be some involvement between Mary Jane and Victor Newman.

J.T.: That woman has done some horrible things to his family. And despite what we think of Victor, he would never condone that.

Paul: Well, whatever, I think we better check it out, don't you?

J.T.: Yeah. Yeah, something's off here. Something's off. I wouldn't put anything past Victor.

Victor: You said last night on the phone that you had something on my son-in-law that I wouldn't like.

Man: They say a picture's worth a thousand words. So what's this worth to you?

Victor: Where are the negatives?

Man: Memory card. In the envelope.

Victor: Your services will no longer be needed. You keep your mouth shut.

Man: It was a pleasure doing business with you.

Victor: Yeah.

Victor: (Sighs)

Victor: (Sighs) My darling, would you come over to the restaurant? I need to talk to you about something, all right?

Gloria: You're telling me that a son of Tom Fisher's might have killed somebody? Is this true?

Michael: Did Tom ever mention a woman in Green Bay?

Gloria: There were always other women. I mean, sometimes he'd disappear for days or weeks at a time on his little "Business trips." Actually, those were the best times for me and Kevin because we didn't have to tiptoe around, afraid we might set him off. We'd sit on the couch and eat our dinner and watch TV. Something like that would make Tom go ballistic.

Michael: Anything else you can remember about his business trips?

Gloria: (Chuckles) Yeah, sometimes he brought back a souvenir-- shot glasses. He collected 'em.

Michael: Did you ever confront him?

Gloria: And get my head taken off? No, I was a good little wife, kept my mouth shut, cleaned the lipstick and cheap perfume out of his clothes.

Michael: Did he ever say anything that might make you suspect he had another child? Go on some drunken rant about another mouth to feed?

Gloria: Never. Doesn't mean it didn't happen. Rat bastard.

Grimes: Good move, Fisher, calling us last night.

Jana: So, Agent Grimes, did you question Ryder?

Grimes: Looks like we have our shooter. He knew things nobody else would know.

Daniel: (Sighs) Does that mean that the charges against me are gonna be dropped?

Jana: A-and me?

Grimes: D.A. wants to review Ryder's statement first. I fully anticipate all charges against the both of you will be vacated.

Jana: (Sighs) Oh, thank God.

Grimes: I'll be in touch.

Jana: (Sighs) Oh, God.

Kevin: Mm. Baby, you're free.

Jana: I know.

Daniel: No, he said the charges were dropped. This isn't over.

Jana: Well, don't say that.

Daniel: I'm telling you, I was set up from the day that Balfour-- I'm sorry, uh, Elkins-- Ray Elkins came to my art show posing as a fake agent. I'm--I'm telling you, you know, I think that somebody else was trying to set me up so I could take the fall, and now all of a sudden, some brother that you never knew you had shows up, and he just confesses to the murder, and I'm off the hook? No, no, no, no, this story gets stranger by the day.

Kevin: Just let it go.

Daniel: I can't let it go, okay? Deacon played me. He played Amber, and I guarantee you, he's playing you and Ryder, too.

Kevin: Dude, the case is closed.

Daniel: No, it's not closed, 'cause I'm staying on it. I'm staying on it until I find out why this happened and what Deacon really wants.

Deacon: You know, we could have our honeymoon in Bali, Saint-Barths, anywhere your heart desires.

Amber: (Chuckles) Don't go calling the travel agent yet. If I go through with this wedding, we'll have a civil ceremony and hit the drive-through for the reception.

Deacon: Oh, come on. Let's do this in style.

Amber: You can dress it any way you want. There's nothing to celebrate.

Deacon: It-- Amber, this isn't a sham.

Amber: (Sighs)

Deacon: I want a real marriage with you.

Amber: You just want what you can't have.

Deacon: Well, if history proves anything, it's that you and I have chemistry. I know all the worst things that there are to know about you, and I still accept you for who you are. Can you say that about Daniel? I didn't think so. With me, baby, you'll never have to pretend that you're something that you're not. I love your sweet side. I love your daring side. I even love that little black heart that you try and hide from everyone.

Amber: If you really loved me, you wouldn't force me to marry you.

Deacon: I'll tell you what, let's forget the words. I'll show you how I feel. You deserve a proper proposal. Ambrosia Moore, will you marry me?

Jack: Ash, no one is using Dad to force you to do anything. We simply thought we could get a little privacy this way.

Billy: We're concerned.

Jack: I promised Dad I would look after this family.

Ashley: He wouldn't be happy with how we are now, would he?

Jack: No, he wouldn't, Sis.

Billy: Hey, look, we-- we just want what's best for you.

Ashley: I know.

(Gasps)

Sabrina: Hello, Ashley.

Ashley: No. No.

Jack: Ashley? Is something wrong?

Ashley: Leave me alone. Leave me alone. Leave me alone. Leave me alone.

Jack: Ashley?

Ashley: Leave me alone.

Jack: Do you see something here in the room with us?

Ashley: Shh! I'm just tired. I'm just really tired. I'm tired.

Jack: Ashley, it's just Billy and me. You can tell us anything.

Ashley: Oh, shut up, Jack! Look, I'm not hallucinating again, okay? I'm not.

Billy: Just-- look, rewind. Rewind. Look at me. I-I--all Jack and I are saying is that we love you, and we don't want to be cut out of your life, and the other day, y-you were saying everything's falling apart, and you couldn't go to Victor. I'm worried about you.

Ashley: Its okay, Billy. It's okay. Things are better.

Jack: Well, we'd still love for you to come to the cemetery with us now.

Ashley: You want to lock me up.

Jack: No.

Ashley: Isn't that your solution for everybody, Jack? Isn't that what you do? Isn't that what you did to Sharon?

Jack: No!

Billy: What is she talking about?

Jack: Sharon's in a psychiatric hospital right now.

Ashley: That's right. She's in a psychiatric hospital right now. Noah told me that, and you're not gonna do it to me. Don't make me have my baby-- don't make me have my baby in an institution, please.

Jack: No one is suggesting you should, Ash. No one.

Ashley: I can see it in your eyes, though, the way you're looking at me. You're saying, "Oh, Ashley, sh-she's going crazy again. She's losing her mind." I can see it in your eyes, but you know what my real problem is? My real problem is you judging my sanity. Can you see that? I don't need you telling me what's best for me!

Billy: What about the nightmares? You dreamed you killed Sabrina.

Ashley: Just get out. Please. Just get out.

Jack: Okay, come with us.

Ashley: No, I don't want to come with you! Go! Leave me alone! Go. Go!

Ashley: (Gasps)

Billy: Jack, why didn't you back me up in there?

Jack: There was no point in staying there, Billy. You saw her. She was too worked up.

Billy: She gets worse every time I see her. What are we gonna do now?

Jack: I need to think about it. The last thing I want to do is push her over the edge.

J.T.: Has there been any...

Paul: No, that's right. But the work still stands.

J.T.: Activity on Ms. Benson's account in the last month or so?

Paul: Well, if we find her, yeah, you bet.

J.T.: Okay. All right. Thanks, anyway.

Paul: Okay, bye-bye. (Groans) Oh, man. You know, it just seems like nothing is going my way these days. (Sighs) Nothing about Mary Jane, no word from Nikki.

J.T.: I take it you haven't heard anything from your sister, either, right?

Paul: No. From what I could tell, she hasn't been in contact with anybody.

J.T.: Yeah, but Todd is sure he saw her?

Paul: Yeah, my brother's not saying much. So my guess is that, uh, Patty unknowingly confessed to Todd, and...

J.T.: Wow, confessing to your brother. That's a little strange.

Paul: Yeah, well, maybe she got scared off and left town.

J.T.: Yeah, but what about Mary Jane? She took off from the bar. You think she's gone, too?

Paul: That one puzzles me...

J.T.: (Sighs)

Paul: Because she should have left town, too. Something is keeping her here. I just wish to God I knew what it was. Anyway, it's time to put the "Flat" back in "Flatfoot." I have an updated list of all the local hotels, and, um, motels. Here's the list. Here, check them out.

J.T.: It's as good a place to start as any, I guess.

Paul: Yeah. All right, we'll touch base later?

J.T.: All right.

(Cell phone beeps)

Colleen's voice: Hope spending time with me last night didn't cause headaches at home.

J.T.: (Sighs)

Victoria: Where did you get this, Dad?

Victor: I had J.T. followed.

Victoria: Dad, you thought that my husband was having an affair...

Victor: No, Sweet--

Victoria: And you didn't bother to tell me about it, Dad?

Victor: No, Sweetheart. That was not the case. I had no idea. I had him followed because I wanted some more information about Mary Jane Benson. I thought he would lead me to it.

Victoria: It just-- I can't believe this.

Victor: I don't think they slept together because...

Victoria: (Sighs)

Victor: I think they knew that Abby would show up.

Victoria: Okay, fine, so not last night, but maybe on another night then. Maybe--maybe some other night.

Victor: Anything I can do?

Victoria: I'd appreciate your discretion, but I'll handle it from here.

Ashley: Don't you worry. I'm not gonna let them lock us up, okay? If Sabrina would just leave me alone, I'd be fine. I'd be fine.

(Telephone rings)

Ashley: (Gasps) (Sighs) Hello? Hi, Abby.

(Front door closes)

Ashley: I know. It is a sad day, isn't it? Okay. We'll go together. I'll see you soon.

Victor: Was that Abby?

Ashley: We're going to the cemetery together.

Victor: Cemetery? What for?

Ashley: It's the anniversary of my father's death.

Victor: Oh, my goodness. I totally forgot.

Ashley: I did, too.

Victor: I'm sorry. But you would have remembered eventually.

Ashley: I'm a horrible daughter.

Victor: Oh, Sweetheart, come on. Just the fact that you forgot the date of your father's death doesn't mean that you're a horrible daughter.

Ashley: I miss him so much. (Sighs) I miss my dad. I don't know. I miss seeing him in the morning at the breakfast table. I miss walking the halls of Jabot with him, talking business. It's--I just miss him, you know? He--he always had the best guidance, and I just really miss him.

Victor: He was a nice man.

Ashley: Oh, he was a great man. (Sighs) He was great, and I miss him more than ever.

Jack: Yeah, it's been a rough day for all of us, Traci. Listen, I'm sure Ashley would love to hear from you. Yeah, I know. I love you, too, Sis. Thanks.

John: Sounds like you have the weight of the world on your shoulders.

Jack: It is so good to see you. Traci and I were just saying how good it would be to see your face today.

John: I couldn't stay away, especially with Ashley going through so much difficulty.

Jack: I don't know what to do about her, Dad. Billy and Traci have all this faith that I'll do the right thing. I don't know what the right thing is. I know I want her out of that ranch.

John: Newman's standing in your way?

Jack: Oh, he's not helping. Boy, I'd like to punch his lights out.

John: (Chuckles) Well, I certainly know what that feels like.

Jack: That's the only man I ever saw you take a swing at.

John: Now nothing good ever comes out of acting out of anger.

Jack: No, no, no. I'm not gonna make any decisions on Ashley based on my hate for Newman. No, too much rests on this. Hell, the welfare of my sister and her baby depend on it.

John: Uh, she's isolating herself now, isn't she?

Jack: Dad, she's further and further out of touch with reality. She needs professional help.

John: Well, then get it for her, Jack.

Jack: Well, it's not as simple as that. She doesn't want it. Right now, I'm just hoping for-- by some miracle, Victor will see the light, and maybe we can convince her together.

John: Please, that-- that would be a miracle.

Jack: On the other hand, I don't know how much time we have. She's only getting worse. What if she hurts herself, or worse still, hurts the baby? If I press the issue, it's only gonna put her over the edge. Dad, I don't know. I feel like my head's gonna blow up trying to figure this one out.

John: Son, look at me. Make a choice, and let it play out.

Jack: That is terrifying.

John: Well, now you know what it's like to be the patriarch of the family.

Jack: You will always be the patriarch of this family. I will always walk in your shadow.

John: Oh, Jackie, Jackie. No, son, you're in charge now.

Jack: You can't just tell me what to do?

John: Son, you know what to do-- what's best for your sister.

Jack: I miss you, Dad.

John: Don't let fear stop you from making a move. I mean, you know what has to be done. Look in your heart, and you will find the answer.

Jana: (Chuckles)

Gloria: You must be so relieved.

Jana: Okay, well, look, the--the charges haven't officially been dropped.

Kevin: But they will be. They're gonna be.

Michael: Uh, I was gonna call and tell you later, but I am not representing Ryder.

Kevin: What? But you were with me last night when he confessed.

Michael: As a favor. But I promised my wife, no more pro bono work.

Kevin: And what if he turns out to be my brother? Did Michael tell you?

Gloria: I hate to say it, but it wouldn't surprise me at all if Tom had other kids.

Michael: You--your story was splashed all over the news. I mean, Gloria blabbed on TV about you, Tom, the abuse. And look, John shooting Tom was on the front page. Now Ryder had all the information he needed to make this sound so believable.

Jana: Okay. You should be really careful, okay?

Michael: Look, I doubt-- I doubt it seriously that he's your brother.

Kevin: I-I get that the odds are high that maybe he's a con, but look at this from my perspective. I mean, what if everything that to put me through, right up to the silver chipmunk, was--was to bring me to a place where I could help other people battle their demons? And what if one of those people is Ryder, my own brother?

Michael: No, no, no, no, no, no. Look, it boils down to this. If Ryder is a fraud, then he's up to no good. If he's your brother, which I doubt he is, then he's linked to Deacon framing Daniel for murder. Now either way, it stinks to high heaven. So do yourself a favor. Stay the hell away from him.

(Cell phone rings)

Deacon: (Sighs) Yeah. Deacon.

Ryder: I did it. I confessed. I'm in jail like we planned.

Deacon: Um, I can't really talk right now.

Ryder: I'm not feeling too good about this.

Deacon: Now listen, I'm-- I'm gonna have to call you back later, all right?

Deacon: How come you're not wearing the ring I gave you?

Amber: It's not my style.

Deacon: Oh, come on. Tell me that you wouldn't like to flash that rock in front of your old pals at Furnace Creek.

(Knock on door)

Deacon: Well, look who stopped by to say hi. Come on in. Promise to play nice now, Romalotti.

Daniel: That's funny. It shouldn't take long. I just thought maybe you should hear this. The charges against me have been dropped. Deacon's friend confessed.

Amber: (Sighs) Thank God.

Deacon: Uh, my "Friend"?

Daniel: Yeah, your friend. The guy Ryder who's been working with you.

Deacon: Oh, Ryder-- the--the guy that, uh, that asked me for a job, yeah. I-I didn't hire him. But, um, but he confessed? Wow, that--imagine that. That's strange. Okay, great. Congratulations. You're off the hook.

Daniel: You know, I don't know why you dragged me into this mess in the first place, but I'd be willing to bet that there's more to this story, 'cause you--you wouldn't just hire me to forge a Terroni and then set me up for murder all just to get her.

Deacon: You have an active imagination, but you know what? I-I think that's a good thing for a painter.

Daniel: You can bet now that the law's off my back, I'm gonna figure out what you're really after. Nice rock. Must have set you back a few.

Deacon: Oh, well, you know, nothing's too good for my baby.

Daniel: You know, whatever deal you made with him, Amber, you don't have to do this. You could walk out of here with me right now.

Amber: (Sighs)

Paul: Well, I am sorry about your old man, Jack. He was, um, he was a prince.

Jack: That he was.

(Glasses clink)

Paul: So, um, tell me. Have you had any more, um, Mary Jane encounters?

Jack: No, have you?

Paul: Nothing substantial. Hey.

J.T.: Man, it's hot out there, Jack.

Jack: Hey, J.T.

J.T.: Well, that was a bust.

Jack: Listen, what makes you two so sure Mary Jane’s still in town?

Paul: Something is keeping her here. I don't know what it is-- you, Ashley, Summer, Victor. I mean, it's strange. I-I can't connect the dots.

Jack: Last time anybody saw her, she was dressed up like a homeless person. Has anybody checked the shelters?

J.T.: Yeah. Nobody's seen her there.

Paul: I've even checked the-- the beauty supply stores to find out if anyone matching Mary Jane’s description has purchased a-a-a wig recently. I mean, we've checked everything.

J.T.: We'd better warn the security to, uh, not let their guard down here. It's possible she could come back to the area to spy on everyone.

Jack: She's crazy enough to do that.

(Sighs)

Paul: You okay?

Jack: Well, let's just say, it hasn't exactly been a great day for the Abbotts.

Colleen: Thank you for coming with me to the cemetery.

Billy: No problem. Did you see all those flowers?

Colleen: Yeah. A lot of people loved Granddad, right?

Billy: Yeah. I wish he were here.

Colleen: Yeah, me, too. I even wore my ballerina earrings for his honor.

Billy: Your what? Oh.

Colleen: (Laughs)

Billy: That's right. "CeeCee the little ballerina."

Colleen: Yeah, every time we went to New York, we'd have to go to the ballet.

Billy: I thought it was Brad.

Colleen: No, it was him, too. And you know what? Like, he never even complained about being dragged there.

Billy: That sounds like Dad. I wonder what he'd think about us now.

Colleen: He would be thrilled that you are with Mac.

Billy: (Chuckles) Yeah, it is pretty incredible that we're together finally. Nothing like being with your first love. I-I gotta tell you, it's the best thing that's happened to me since, uh, ever, actually.

Colleen: (Chuckles)

Billy: (Chuckles)

Colleen: I totally understand.

(Chuckles)

Victoria: (Sighs)

Victoria: It's Victoria. I need to see you. It's urgent.

Daniel: You said that you were playing along with Deacon to help me. Well, I'm free. And you know what? So are you. This guy doesn't have anything on us anymore.

Amber: Daniel...

Daniel: If you want to be with me, let's go. Take my hand. You can walk out that door right now.

Daniel: I guess I got my answer.

Amber: (Sighs)

Deacon: Don’t.

Kevin: Thanks.

Ryder: Thanks for coming to see me.

Kevin: How are you doing?

Ryder: The cops kept me up all night asking questions. Your brother's cool, though.

Kevin: Well, I've got some questions of my own.

Ryder: I already told you everything about the night Ray Elkins was killed.

Kevin: It's not about that. (Sighs) Do you know this guy?

Ryder: What are you doing with a picture of my dad?

Kevin: So I think that we might be brothers.

Billy: (Clears throat) Jack, got your message. So what'd you decide to do about Ashley?

Jack: I decided to do the only thing I could do that made any sense, and I think Dad would agree with me.

Ashley: This is so sweet. Where'd you find it?

Abby: One of the old photo albums. You and granddad just looked so happy.

Ashley: (Sighs) I love it. Thank you. Daddy.

Victor: That was very thoughtful of you.

Abby: (Chuckles)

Ashley: Mm. Are you ready?

Abby: Yeah, let's go.

Ashley: Okay.

Victor: Where are you off to?

Abby: Mom and I are going to the cemetery.

Victor: Oh.

Ashley: Just the two of us. You understand.

Victor: Of course.

Abby: The car's in back.

Ashley: Okay. Bye.

Abby: Bye.

Victor: Bye, Sweetheart.

(Doorbell rings)

Victor: Do we have an appointment?

Michael: Well, I have some news that requires your immediate attention. Jack filed a petition with the court to have Ashley committed to a psychiatric hospital.

(Knock on door)

Colleen: So what's so important you couldn't wait to see me?

Victoria: Would you like to explain?

Paul: Well, I think it's time to cast a wider net, you kn-- you know, I wonder if there are any pictures of Mary Jane at Katherine and Murphy’s wedding.

J.T.: You want me to call?

Paul: No, I'll handle it. Uh, 'cause th-this is what I was--I was-- oh, my God.

J.T.: What's the matter?

Paul: I think that's my sister Patty.

Next on "The Young and the Restless"...

Kevin: I have to find out whether or not he's my brother, Jana.

Victoria: This is personal. You want my husband?

Colleen: Yes, I do.

Mary Jane: I just need to make a few points about Jack.

(Knock on door)
