Sharon: Out of the blue, Victor and Ashley ran off and got married and didn't even tell anyone?

Jack: If Gloria hadn't found out and told me, I still wouldn't know about it.

Sharon: How strange.

Jack: Yeah. Stranger still-- after the ceremony, Ashley fainted.

Sharon: Is she okay?

Jack: Well, physically, yeah, but I'm worried about her mental state. She thought she saw Sabrina outside the window. Security combed the grounds. There was no one.

Sharon: Mm. I thought, since Estella was gone, that was over with.

Jack: Ashley made a big mistake marrying that man.

Sharon: Mm.

Wallace: You want to tell me how this got in your hotel room?

Sharon: Um, I-I've never seen this before. Uh... it's Victor’s.

Nick: Well, I understand congratulations are in order.

Victor: Victoria told you?

Nick: Yeah. It's not the best way to hear your father got married.

Victor: I just didn't want you to feel pressured to leave Summer, you know?

Nick: Well, Vick was there, right?

Victor: Yeah, she came on business, and, um, otherwise, she wouldn't have known.

Nick: And I thought you and Ashley were gonna wait until after the baby was born.

Victor: Well, you know... she's been through so much that, um, I thought it was time.

Nick: You know what? Congratulations, Dad. I really hope you two are happy.

Victor: Thanks, son.

Nick: Is Ashley around? I'd like to congratulate her, as well.

Victor: She's upstairs with the doctor. She's had a rough night.

Nick: Yeah. Vick told me, uh, Ashley thought she saw Sabrina?

Victor: Yeah, after the ceremony.

Nick: Did Estella have anything to do with that?

Victor: No, I don't think so.

Nick: What about Adam?

Victor: He was in the room with us.

Nick: Did anyone else see this ghost?

Victor: No, not that I know of. (Sighs) I'm afraid it was in her head.

Mary Jane: Mm.

Adam: Wake up. You know, you nearly messed everything up last night. You weren't supposed to do anything until I sent you a signal.

Mary Jane: (Sighs) You said that Jack wasn't going to be there. I-I-I knew he wouldn't miss his sister's wedding. So I came early.

Adam: Do you realize that, had Ashley not fainted, everyone would have seen you?

Mary Jane: You don't understand. Jack and I have this deep connection. We're--we're soul mates. I know him better than anyone. When I saw him, he just seemed so lonely and sad.

Adam: Do you not hear the words coming out of my mouth? You and your lunatic obsession with Jack nearly screwed everything up.

Mary Jane: Okay, first off, I am not obsessed with Jack. I'm in love with him.

Adam: Is that what you call it?

Mary Jane: Maybe it's time for me to leave. I'm sure Jack would love to, uh, know the truth about where I've been, huh?

Jill: Has anyone heard from Phillip?

Nina: Not since we were with him last night.

Kay: Not a word.

Jill: (Sighs) I shouldn't have let him leave that way.

Kay: Oh, come on. 20 years of heartaches, and he--it was our fault that he's dead? All of it lies? All of it! Just lies. Now why would you want to run after him?

Jill: Katherine, I am just as upset as you are, okay? But how often does a person get a second chance to do it right?

Kay: And that's assuming that we did it wrong?

Jill: We chased him away, Katherine.

Kay: We did not. He made a cowardly decision, uh, uh, to fake his death instead of admitting to us that he was gay. Were we that dreadful that the man could not have come to us?

Jill: Could you just stop thinking of yourself, please...

Kay: Oh, stop.

Jill: And put yourself in his place, what he was going through? Are you really that selfish? Never mind. I know that--

Nina: Will the two of you stop bickering? This is hard enough!

(Doorbell rings)

Nina: I'll get it.

Nina: Oh. Perfect timing.

Phillip: Have I been hung in effigy?

Nina: Oh, yeah. They're sewing up the dummy now.

Phillip: Can I come in?

Nina: Absolutely.

Phillip: Good morning.

Jill: Morning.

Phillip: I thought you'd like to know that I took the test to see if I'm a carrier for Huntington’s.

Nina: Thank you.

Phillip: Well, it's the least I could do.

Jill: So, uh, when will you get the results?

Phillip: (Pops lips) Later this afternoon.

Kay: Oh, good for you. You stepped up for your son. Now what about the rest of the family?

Devon: You want some coffee?

Lily: No, thanks. I can't have caffeine, remember?

Devon: Yeah. Duh. Stupid. Um, I really wish that you'd think about this a little bit more before you tell Cane that you're pregnant.

Lily: Devon, I was up all night thinking about it. This is his baby, too. He has a right to know.

Devon: You know, once he finds out, he's not gonna walk away. I mean, look how he was with Delia. That's what you want, though, isn't it?

Lily: No. Yes. Listen, I don't know, okay? Our marriage was a fairy tale. It was like a dream come true. We couldn't wait to have children. I have to at least tell him the truth and give this thing a chance, or else I'll be killing my dream.

(Doorbell rings)

Lily: (Inhales sharply) (Sighs) He's here.

Cane: (Sighs)

Lily: I need to go splash some water on my face.

Devon: Well, hang on. It--you know, it's not too late to change your mind.

Lily: Just get the door, please.

Devon: (Sighs)

Cane: Lily's expecting me.

Devon: Yes, I know. Come in. I'm going to, uh... take off and give you guys some privacy.

Cane: Thank you.

Devon: Yeah. You're welcome. You know I'd hit you in the face right now if it was up to me.

Cane: Yeah, I don't blame you for feeling that way. I deserve it.

Devon: Okay, but look here. Lily is in a real raw state right now, so whatever you two talk about, just know that you owe it to Lily to do what's best for her, okay?

Cane: I know.

Devon: You know?

Cane: Yeah, I do.

Devon: You really know?

Cane: Yeah.

Devon: Okay, 'cause you sure the hell didn't know when you married her. You didn't think about Lily at all. So this one time today, can you try not to be a selfish bastard?

(Door opens)

(Door closes)

(Dog toy squeaks)

Cane: You wanted to see me?

Jill: Stop pushing him, Katherine.

Kay: Why are you accepting crumbs from your son?

Jill: Because he is my son, and 'cause it's a miracle he's still alive.

Kay: Ooh. Well, too bad you didn't feel that way when I rose from the grave.

Jill: Oh, Lord, it's always about you, isn't it?

Kay: Oh.

Jill: Of course I've got questions for Phillip, but that doesn't mean--

Phillip: Do you hear yourselves? I mean, my God. Nothing's changed with you two.

Kay: Oh, I wouldn't exactly say "Nothing." I mean, look at the pain you've caused this family.

Phillip: That was not my intention.

Kay: Well, perhaps we should give you a medal for having good intentions.

Nina: I got to say, Phillip, I just can't pretend that the last 20 years didn't happen.

Jill: Well, of course you'd agree with her.

Nina: This is not about agreeing with one person or the other, Jill. You know, when you died-- oh-- when, I thought you died, I was completely devastated. I didn't want to go on. If we didn't have our son, I don't know what I would have done.

Phillip: I'm sorry that I put you through that. At the time, I-I-I didn't see any other way out.

Kay: S-so you go and crash your car? I mean, your car, Phillip...

Nina: (Sighs)

Kay: That is the way your--your father died because of me. I mean, I was so upset about the divorce, I drove the car off the cliff. Now to dredge up all that pain and guilt, knowing that you could have spared me that grief--

Jill: Wait a minute!

Kay: (Stammers)

Jill: You're not seriously blaming him for your own guilt.

Kay: Oh.

Phillip: No, no, no, no. She's right. I was selfish.

Nina: (Sighs)

Phillip: I didn't have the faith in my family to say I was gay. I'm not going to apologize. You know, if--if I had to do it all over again, I may make the same choice.

Kay: Well, now that is--is a vicious slap in the face.

Nina: How could you say that?

Phillip: When I think about it, there's just, you know, I--what other option did I have back then?

Nina: You would abandon your son all over again, let him grow up without a father?

Jill: Honey, you don't really mean that.

Phillip: I do.

Kay: But all of the pain that you have caused the people who love you-- my God, who in the hell are you?

Phillip: That's what I'm talking about. Who am I? You guys don't know who I am. You don't know who I am!

Kay: You never gave us a second chance! You never gave us a second chance! Never!

Nick: So the question isn't whether this is a sound investment. It's, how are we going to proceed after we acquire this company?

Victor: Are you concerned with how many jobs will be lost?

Nick: I know it's something that can't be helped.

Victor: But have you thought of how many jobs would be saved by not allowing the company to go under? Doc. How is she doing?

Dr. Taylor: She's resting right now. I'm going to get her a sedative from my case in the car.

Victor: Be honest with me. Is she having a breakdown?

Dr. Taylor: I'm not a psychiatrist, so I can't make that kind of diagnosis. I would recommend, uh, that your wife see a professional, though.

Victor: Huh. I've done that several times. She refuses to... go along with that. I can't force her. What do you think we should do?

Dr. Taylor: I think the best thing for her would be to get a lot of rest and to avoid anything that could give her further stress.

Victor: All right. Thank you. Hmm. Boy, son, do I wish I could fix things.

Nick: I know, Dad. This has... got to be the hardest thing in the world to watch somebody you love suffer...

Victor: (Sighs)

Nick: And know there isn't anything you can do about it.

Victor: Yeah. Why is she so damn stubborn, you know? I suggested therapy to her several times. It's clear that would be the best thing for her.

Nick: Well, maybe to you, Dad, but obviously not to her.

Victor: Oh. You mean, because of her breakdowns, or what?

Nick: Well, think about it. If you had a history of mental breakdowns, wouldn't you be afraid to get diagnosed, as well?

Victor: (Sighs) Good point.

(Cell phone rings)

Victor: Excuse me. Yes? Yes, Detective? I'll be right over.

Victor: It's Detective Wallace. They found my wallet in Sharon's room at the club.

Nick: You got to be kidding me. I thought she was getting better.

Victor: Kindly tell Ashley that I went to the club, okay?

Nick: Well, I-- let me go with you. Sharon may need me.

Victor: No, all right? Let me handle it.

Mary Jane: Here you go, little kitty. Good boy. Guess where we're gonna go? We're gonna go find Jack.

Adam: You're making a big mistake. I can help you get Jack.

Mary Jane: I don't want your help. Jack needs me. I saw it in his eyes. Hmm. There's blood on this dress. I need new clothes.

Adam: I can get some for you. Stay here.

Mary Jane: (Laughs) Don't be long.

Adam: I won't be. Just don't let anyone see you.

Mary Jane: I look really good in fuchsia. (Sighs) Adam isn't our friend anymore, is he, kitty? No, he's not. (Whispering) No, he's not, is he? Hmm.

Wallace: Where did you get this wallet?

Sharon: I-I have no idea where that came from.

Wallace: It was found in your room.

Jack: Wait. What right do you have going through her room?

Wallace: We got a call from the Athletic Club. The housekeeper found it cleaning, all right? Now you've admitted to stealing things before, including an expensive piece of art from Mr. Newman.

Sharon: I-I did. I-I stole before, but I admitted to that. I was willing to go to jail for it. Not this time. I have no recollection of--of stealing that.

Wallace: The last time we found those stolen items, you didn't remember taking them, either. And why is this different?

Jack: She has since gotten help. She is past all of that.

Sharon: Am I?

Jack: I don't believe for one second you picked Victor Newman's pocket.

Wallace: Well, why don't we see what he has to say about that?

(Knock on door)

Adam: Come in.

(Door opens)

Adam: Who is it?

Dr. Taylor: It's me.

Adam: Ah, Dr. Taylor. How's Ashley doing?

Dr. Taylor: I cannot be a part of this anymore.

Adam: Well, you have no choice.

Dr. Taylor: What you are doing is unconscionable. Let that poor woman know that she has lost her baby before she loses her mind completely.

Adam: Since when have you grown a conscience? Because I know it wasn't when you were preying on Skye and the other female students.

Dr. Taylor: I-I can't sleep. I can't work.

Adam: Payback is a bitch.

Dr. Taylor: I don't know what Ashley did to deserve this, but whatever it was, you have no right to be doing something like this--

Adam: Shut up and do your job, or I'll tell the whole world about your dirty little secret.

Cane: How are you?

Lily: I'm okay.

Cane: Where's Humphrey?

Lily: Uh, Tyra took him to the park. You know, I've been thinking about all the plans that we had-- growing old together, having lots of babies.

Cane: Cricket team.

Lily: Yeah. And we had so much hope when we got married. I thought that we'd be together forever. Do you remember our vows? Whatever lies ahead for us... good or bad...

Cane: I'll always be your soft place to fall.

Cane: I am so sorry.

Lily: How can you be so different from the man that I thought that you were? It's like you're two different people. It's like, are you this lying con man, or are you the man that I thought would be the perfect father to our children? Just be honest with me, Cane. Did you really want to start a family as much as I did?

Cane: I always wanted to have a family with you. Only now, I realize how selfish that is. Could you imagine if you were pregnant now, and we had to go through this? Thank God you're not, huh? I want you to know that what I did was inexcusable. I hurt you to preserve myself, and that's not love. It's not the love I want to give you. So now you're free. You're free to be with someone else, someone you can trust. Sadly, it's not me.

Lily: (Clicks tongue) Well, I guess I was wrong about you.

Cane: I hope this gives you closure. You should know I put the house on the market, so I'm leaving Genoa City for good.

Lily: So you're really going?

Cane: Yeah. There's nothing left now for me. I am so sorry I couldn't be the man you deserve.

Cane: (Exhales deeply)

Lily: (Sighs)

Nick: Adam, what are you doing?

Adam: Ashley keeps forgetting to, uh, put these in her car to take to the dry cleaner’s.

Nick: The staff will do that.

Adam: Things have been falling between the cracks lately since Estella left. I don't mind helping out.

Nick: Those clothes look brand-new.

Adam: If you do not believe me, you can go ask Ashley yourself.

Nick: I thought you couldn't leave the house with your ankle monitor.

Adam: I can go a few feet, not too far. You want to be my jailer, too, you and Vick?

Nick: I don't give a damn what you do.

Adam: The feeling is, oh, so mutual.

Wallace: Do you know how your wallet ended up in Mrs. Abbott's hotel room?

Victor: I have no idea, Detective, and I'm sure Mrs. Abbott doesn't, either.

Wallace: Look, I can take an incident report if you'd like.

Victor: I will be pressing no charges, all right? That's not necessary, but thank you for your diligence. I guess this makes the case closed. Thank you.

Wallace: All right. For your sake, I hope this doesn't happen again.

Victor: Thank you, Detective.

Sharon: Thank you, both of you, for supporting me. I-I-I would have thought that, with my history, that, you'd assume I had done this.

Kay: 20 years... 20 long, very long years you let us believe that you were dead. And now, you're saying you're sorry that you deceived us, but it is our fault for not knowing who you were or who you are or whatever the hell you--

Jill: Shh. Calm, calm, calm, calm.

Nina: How could we know the real you? You never showed him to us.

Kay: Yeah.

Phillip: I never felt safe enough...

Kay: Oh...

(Scoffs)

Phillip: To confide in you guys. I thought that you would judge me.

Kay: You don't--

Jill: No, he has a point there. I know from experience the high expectations placed on someone who's blessed enough to be called a Chancellor.

(Doorbell rings)

Kay: Oh, how dare you? Jill!

Cane: Hi. I came to say good-bye. I'm leaving Genoa City.

Devon: I'm home, Lily. Oh, boy. You okay? What did Cane say to you?

Lily: Nothing. I couldn't get--even get up the nerve to tell him.

(Sniffles)

Devon: So he doesn't know about the baby?

Lily: No. He said that it was a blessing that I never got pregnant. How could I even tell him after that?

(Sniffles)

(Gasps)

(Groans)

Devon: What is it?

Lily: Oh, gosh. My side.

Devon: Are you all right?

Lily: Oh, no. It hurts.

Devon: Okay. Let's go.

Lily: Oh!

Devon: Hang on. I'm gonna call 9-1-1, all right?

Lily: Okay. Oh. Oh, my God.

Devon: Hold on a second.

Lily: (Moaning) Oh, gosh. Ow.

Devon: Just hold on, okay?

Mary Jane: Oh. You have good taste, considering you can't see.

Adam: I can see a little.

Mary Jane: Hmm. This one... will look fabulous on me.

Adam: You know, I've been considering how to reunite you with Jack.

Mary Jane: I don't need your ideas. Thanks.

Adam: You know, the guards are on alert, and you take a risk being seen. You know, I could have Jack come to the ranch.

Mary Jane: (Laughs) You want me to get all dolled up with these fabulous clothes to meet Jack in a potting shed? Oh, how romantic.

(Laughs)

Adam: Well, it shouldn't matter where you are as long as you're together.

Mary Jane: (Sighs)

Adam: Listen, you go into town and Victor spots you, he's not gonna miss his second chance to ship you out of the country.

Mary Jane: Okay, explain how you want to do this.

Adam: Well, I will get word to Jack that he needs to see his sister. You'll intercept him, and, uh, if he is as crazy about you as you say he is, then it won't matter if you're in a potting shed or a cardboard box.

Mary Jane: Well, that sounds good. Why don't you call him, and, um, I'll get ready?

Adam: Let me know if you need anything else.

Mary Jane: Mm-hmm. (Laughs) He must think I have "Sucker" stamped on my forehead. Ooh. Kitty, make yourself handsome, 'cause we are going out.

(Laughs)

Jack: If you're missing big chunks of time again, we should talk about this.

Victor: Sharon, I'll get you whatever help you need, all right?

Sharon: No. Listen. When--when I stole before, even though I didn't remember it, I somehow knew that I had done it, and this-- this doesn't feel the same way. Like, when, um, "I hate myself" was written on the mirror, I knew that I hadn't done that.

Jack: And you were right about that.

Sharon: Yeah. And I'm right about this, too. Victor, I did not steal your wallet.

Victor: And I believe you. I will talk to the housekeeper and see what she knows, all right?

Jack: How's Ashley doing?

Victor: She's doing fine. Thank you.

Sharon: Oh, Jack told me the great news about your wedding.

Victor: Yes.

Sharon: Congratulations.

Victor: Thank you.

Sharon: And please give her my best.

Victor: I will do that. I'll see you later. Bye.

Sharon: I don't know how Ashley does it-- the two of you in the same room at the same time.

Jack: I don't know why you and my sister think "The Black Knight" is so wonderful. He's a self-absorbed bully, and he can't be trusted.

Nick: Hey, I heard about Dad's wallet. You okay?

Sharon: Uh, yeah. It's--it's handled.

Jack: How's Summer doing?

Nick: It's a long road to recovery.

Sharon: You know, I talked to Noah a little bit about it last night.

Nick: Oh, yeah. I'll--I'll give him a call later.

Jack: Listen, I, uh, have to call the office. You gonna be all right?

Sharon: Yeah.

Nick: So how did Dad's wallet end up in your room?

Sharon: I have no idea. Victor was really wonderful about it. I mean, he didn't want to press charges.

Nick: Well, he would do anything for you.

Sharon: Another Newman coming to my rescue.

Nick: I really hate seeing you go down this road again, Sharon.

Sharon: You think I stole your father's wallet, don't you?

Doctor: Does this hurt?

Lily: Um, a little.

Doctor: Here?

Lily: Yeah. Ow. Oh. (Winces) Ouch. Oh, yeah. Oh.

Doctor: How far along are you?

Lily: Um, just a few weeks. I took a pregnancy test last night, and it came back positive. I'm just--I'm a little worried, because I've had an--an embryonic pregnancy, so is--is the baby okay?

Doctor: I'll know more after we run the blood work. I'll be back.

Lily: Okay.

Lily: (Sighs)

(Door closes)

Lily: I can't lose another child, Devon, not after everything that has happened.

Devon: Come on, Lily. The baby could be fine, okay? So stressing about it isn't gonna do anything.

Lily: I've lost Cane. I can't lose his baby, too. (Sighs) I know it sounds crazy, but... I wish that he was here with me.

Cane: I didn't want to leave without facing you and to apologize once more for what I put you through.

Jill: Where are you going?

Cane: I don't know, but I'm not gonna be coming back.

Nina: Well, we'll just have to suffer through that loss.

Phillip: Hey, Cane is not to blame.

Cane: It's okay. It's okay. It's okay. Katherine, I know how you-- you must feel about me, and, Jill, the last thing I want to do is cause you any more pain, because you opened up your hearts to me, and you welcomed me into your family, and you'll never know how much that meant. 'Cause all I've ever wanted is just to be part of a family, and this was real. And I will love the two of you always just for that. And so I just want to ask you to please just put your differences with Phillip aside and just let your family heal and just-- just cherish each other, because he--he needs to be welcomed with the same love you gave me.

Phillip: (Clicks tongue)

Cane: And, uh, anyway, that's all I have to say, so, um... good-bye.

Phillip: Wait! Hey! Hey! You guys are--you guys are gonna let this guy go?

Jill: (Sighs)

Phillip: You're letting this man who you loved just a few days ago just walk out of your lives?

Kay: He is a stranger who took advantage of us.

Phillip: The wedding gift you gave him--money-- didn't he say to give it to a charity? That doesn't sound like he's trying to cheat you.

Kay: Do you understand he preyed on our feelings?

Phillip: Blame it on me.

Nina: It was cruel.

Phillip: It was my idea.

Cane: I went along with it.

Phillip: Mother, the connection that you had with Cane, it was better than the one you had with me. You loved him like a son. Katherine, you were always open in your home, open in your heart to outcasts, stray dogs. Can't you set aside your anger long enough to see this man loves you? Buddy, I'm sorry that I got you into this.

Cane: Oh, no, no, no. You didn't get me to do anything. I volunteered. You have a great family, Phillip. You really do, and I just want to see you appreciate them.

Phillip: Yeah, not always easy.

Cane: But it's worth it.

Phillip: I know you have feelings for this guy. Don't let him walk out of your lives.

Jill: (Sighs)

Mary Jane: (Sighs) (Laughs) Welcome back to the land of the living. Hmm? Kitty, mama's gonna get you a saucer of milk.

Victor: Nicholas? Hi, Adam. Have you seen Nicholas?

Adam: Uh, he left just after you did. You know, I ran into Dr. Taylor, and he said that Ashley's doing much better, thank God.

Victor: I have to tell you, I will never forget what a good friend you have been to her.

Adam: She makes it easy. Excuse me.

Victor: You're still here.

Dr. Taylor: Yes.

Victor: How's Ashley?

Dr. Taylor: She's sleeping peacefully.

Victor: Uh-huh.

Dr. Taylor: Mr. Newman, I would like to speak with you on another matter.

Victor: And what would that be?

Dr. Taylor: It's about your son... Adam.

Nick: Look, I don't mean to accuse you. It's just I know what you went through the last time you were stealing, a-and I worry.

Sharon: You know, we keep doing this same dance over and over again. I get into trouble, and you show up on your white horse. You know what I think? I think that you wanted me to have stolen that wallet, and I'm not just saying that to be mean.

Nick: That--Sharon, that--that is ridiculous.

Sharon: Really? Because Victor and Jack, they were really supportive of me, and you immediately assumed the worst.

Nick: Look, I was concerned, so I came down here to see if I could help.

Sharon: Well, you--you have to stop rescuing me.

Nick: You're my son's mother.

Sharon: Okay, well, where Noah’s concerned, we should be there for each other, but as far as the rest of my life goes...

Nick: So I'm just supposed to not care?

Sharon: I just have to stop giving you reasons to save me and--and... you--you shouldn't even be here, Nick. You know what? You should be at the hospital right now with your wife and your baby.

Nick: (Sighs) Okay. You're right. I'll go.

Sharon: Give Summer a kiss for me.

Jack: Everything all right?

Sharon: Yeah. It's fine. I--you know, I think I-I'm just tired right now. I'm--I'm gonna go back up to my room and rest if you don't mind.

Jack: Okay. Call me if you need me.

Jack: (Sighs)

Dr. Taylor: Adam and your wife have formed a bond. She's been relying on him for support.

Victor: He has been very helpful to her, yeah.

Dr. Taylor: Yes, but my--my concern is that his problems-- his--his loss of sight, the house arrest-- could be causing additional stress for Mrs. Newman. I-I-I really think it's in her best interest to sever their ties. You should be the person that she depends on.

Victor: Hmm. I think he's been good for her, to be honest with you.

Dr. Taylor: Well, I'm--I'm--I'm sure he has, but I-I hate to see her taking on his problems when she should really be focusing on her own health...

Victor: Mm.

Dr. Taylor: And-- and the baby.

Victor: Mm-hmm. Well, you know what that would, uh, mean, don't you? I mean, Adam is under house arrest. If I do what you suggest, then he would have to go back to prison.

Dr. Taylor: Of course. But what about a facility for the blind, a halfway house? That might give him a-a greater sense of independence and make him grow more confident.

Victor: Hmm. I'd have to get a court order for that.

Dr. Taylor: I really think it would make all the difference for your wife. If--if you do, um, discuss this matter with Adam, please don't say that it was my idea. I really think it should be your decision.

Victor: Hmm. I'll think about it, all right?

Dr. Taylor: Good.

Victor: Thank you for coming by.

Dr. Taylor: My pleasure.

Victor: Thank you, Doc.

Adam: I haven't been able to reach Jack yet. Mary Jane? Mary Jane?

(Cell phone rings)

Jack: Jack Abbott.

Mary Jane: Guess who?

Jack: Mary Jane?

Mary Jane: Uh-huh. I'm back, and I'd love to see you.

Jack: I'd love to see you, too. Where are you?

Mary Jane: I'm at Crimson Lights. I'll be waiting for you, handsome.

Doctor: I'm sorry to say you're not pregnant.

Lily: Yes, I am.

Doctor: You never were.

Lily: But the test said--

Doctor: It was a false positive.

Devon: Well, hang on a second. Aren't home tests supposed to be accurate?

Doctor: Normally, they are.

Lily: Well, why am I cramping if I'm not pregnant?

Doctor: It's the result of an unrelated complication.

Lily: What kind of complication?

Doctor: I'd like to run a few more tests before we discuss it.

Devon: Well, what are you guys running tests for?

Doctor: Your aunt is on her way. She'll explain.

Lily: Well, can't you just tell me now?

Doctor: She'll be here soon. Excuse me.

Lily: Why did he call Aunt Liv?

(Door closes)

Lily: What is going on?

Phillip: I don't think I've ever seen the two of you speechless before.

Cane: I'm gonna go.

Jill: Cane...

Nina: (Gasps)

Chance: Mom.

Nina: Phillip! (Laughs) Hi!

Jill: Oh, my God. Oh, my God.

Nina: Aah!

Jill: Why didn't you tell us you were coming back?

Kay: You're home so--

Nina: Oh, it's so good to see you!

Jill: Oh, God. You look so good, baby. Oh, look at you.

Nina: Look at you!

(Making kissing sounds)

Jill: Oh. (Laughs)

Nina: (Laughs) Oh!

Next on "The Young and the Restless"...

Lily: That's why you called my dad, isn't it? Because something is really wrong with me.

Victor: I think that your presence here is not beneficial to her or the baby.

Jack: And harming an innocent child...

Mary Jane: You think that I had something to do with this.
