Mary Jane: (Sighs)
Adam: This is for you. This is for kitty.
Mary Jane: (Sighs)
Adam: What?
Mary Jane: (Sighs) You're supposed to help me.
Adam: I am.
Mary Jane: How is sleeping in a potting shed with bugs in my hair getting me any closer to Jack?
Adam: You do know that his sister... (Sighs) Lives up at the house, right?
Mary Jane: Yes, of course.
Adam: You've met Ashley?
Mary Jane: We worked together at Jabot.
Adam: Well, then you know that she stopped working because she's so fragile. So follow my lead, and we will get Jack running over here to hold her hand, and you can stand right there by his side.
Heather: I know that it-- it looks like I have a personal grudge against the Newmans, Dennis. Ms. Benson came forward. I was only following proto-- yes, Sir. N-- no, of course, of course. I, um, I understand completely. It won't happen again.
Heather: (Sighs) Adam, where are you?
(Knock on door)
Heather: Uh, R-Rafe, hi. Um, I'm surprised to see you here.
(Door creaking)
Ashley: I guess we have to face them all sometime, don't we, Hope? We can't hide out forever.
Jack: Wow, she has your ears.
Sharon: (Scoffs) I don't want her to have my ears. Mine are big.
Jack: You know, you can enjoy this. You don't have to feel guilty.
Sharon: Guilty?
Jack: Well, yeah, we just came from the doctor telling us our daughter's in perfect health. I'm sure Nick and Phyllis may be getting some very different news today.
Sharon: Yeah, they have to be terrified.
Jack: Listen, I'm going by the hospital. I want to be there when the M.R.I. results come in. There's no pressure, but do you want to come with me?
Sharon: Um... yeah, I do.
Phyllis: So, baby girl, you know this M.R.I. machine-- it's, um, it's kind of like a cave, like that book we have with all the bats.
Nick: Hey, there is nothing to be scared of, okay?
(Door opens)
Doctor: We're gonna go now.
Phyllis: Okay, ready? Great. Hey, we love you. We love you.
Nick: We love you.
Phyllis: Boy. Well, nothing I said was, uh, registering. Nothing--nothing I said made her feel better, or she didn't understand anything.
Nick: She was looking right at you.
Phyllis: Yeah, it didn't-- it didn't register.
Nick: Okay, remember what Dr. Han said. She's gonna be out of it for a little while. It's just because of the coma.
Phyllis: Right. Uh, Victor, thank you for flying Dr. Han in. I really appreciate it.
Victor: That's quite all right. Let's hope she can help her, okay? I need to talk to her.
Nick: You know, I'm sure that M.R.I. is gonna show that she is fine.
Phyllis: Mm-hmm, me, too. I-I think so, too.
Nick: This recovery is gonna be tough for her, okay? She's gonna need lots of attention.
Phyllis: I know. It's the only thing I'm gonna worry about. I'm gonna be here all the time.
Nick: Me, too. So if you're worried that I'm gonna let you down, don’t.
Phyllis: I don't know what that means.
Nick: It means I'm gonna be here day and night.
Phyllis: Um, I don't know if that's appropriate.
Nick: How could that not be appropriate? That's my daughter.
Phyllis: Yeah, I know, but she was already so confused before this happened.
Nick: Look, Phyllis, you're gonna--you're not gonna keep me from her.
Phyllis: I'm not-- I don't want to do that. I'm not saying I want to keep you from your daughter. I want you involved, but, Nick, I mean, if what you're saying is that you're just gonna move in and move out and move in and move out again and break our hearts, I-I can't do that. I mean, enough. That's not good for anyone.
Gloria: Mmm. Nobody makes a better martini than you. Tell me your secret. Oh, come on. Hmm?
Man: I'll tell you what-- I'll give you my phone number. The next time you get a craving, you give me a ring. I'll take care of you.
Gloria: (Laughs)
Jeff: Scotch on the rocks.
Man: You got it.
Gloria: Mm, he is gonna make it big.
(Laughs)
Jeff: The drink? I hope so.
Gloria: No, he's an actor. He's just working here to save money to go to Los Angeles.
Jeff: Ah. Are you fantasizing about being his sugar mama?
Gloria: I haven't got any extra sugar for anybody or anyone else.
Jeff: (Chuckles) Well, that's all gonna change. Today, I make my follow-up call to Victor Newman.
Gloria: Oh, no, Jeffrey. You know, I don't believe for a minute that Benson woman's a call girl. I mean, he's Victor Newman. He doesn't pay for sex.
Jeff: Well, maybe what he's paying for is her discretion, so why shouldn't he pay us, too?
Nick: My little girl needs me, so I'm gonna be there for her, and I need it, too.
Phyllis: Yeah, you need it today.
Nick: Not just today.
Phyllis: Okay, so when she's feeling better and she's feeling stronger, what then? You gonna walk out on her again?
Nick: No.
Colleen: Hi.
Victor: Hi. You're back in town.
Colleen: Yes, and I'm so sorry to hear about Summer.
Victor: Yeah. Thank you for bringing those flowers. I'll make sure that the parents get them.
Colleen: Oh, uh, that's okay. I can--I can wait for them.
Victor: This is really not the day for visitors, all right? Especially people they hardly know.
Colleen: Look, I-I don't mean to intrude.
Victor: Mm-hmm. Well, you are, so why don't you kindly leave?
Colleen: (Scoffs) I know this is the Newman wing of the hospital, but that does not give you the right to tell me that--
Victor: Then you don't understand. This is neither the time nor place for you to be working, all right?
Colleen: Excuse me? That's-- that's not what I'm doing.
Victor: Let me make myself perfectly clear. I know exactly what you're doing. You're snooping around for your Uncle Jack.
Rafe: Well... (Sighs) We know Adam can't be too far away, right?
Heather: Right, right. Did you come to discuss legal matters with him?
Rafe: Oh, with Noah, actually.
Heather: Oh.
Rafe: And I just thought I'd say hi to Adam while I'm here.
Heather: Right. Well, that's-- that's really nice. I know that he appreciates your friendship.
Rafe: You know, it's funny, he was just saying the same thing to me about you.
Heather: Oh. Well, I mean... I mean, I hope he didn't refer to me as a friend.
Rafe: Y-you have been, right? I mean, you've really stuck by him, no matter what.
Heather: Yeah, I have, because he's worth it. If only I could just convince him of that.
Rafe: Convince him...
Heather: Well, I mean, with the blindness and the jail term, he's, um, he's been feeling a little "Less than."
Rafe: Not wanting to commit to a future with you?
Heather: Yeah, because he-- he doesn't want to let me down.
Rafe: I can understand that.
Heather: You know, it's just that--that he had his whole life mapped out for himself, and, um, all these expectations placed on him. I mean, he's Victor Newman's son, and I guess it's just not gonna happen the way that he thought it would.
Rafe: He needs to make peace with himself, be the man that he is, let that be enough.
Heather: Easier said than done.
Rafe: Believe me, I know.
Adam: Rafe, you're here.
Heather: Um, so am I.
Adam: Heather. You're both here.
Heather: Hi, hi.
Adam: Hey.
Heather: So were you outside?
Adam: I wasn't expecting you today.
Heather: Oh, yeah, well, I was having an awful day, and I just needed to see you.
Rafe: I have another appointment, so, uh, I'm just gonna...
Heather: Well, I-I thought you said you were meeting with Noah.
Rafe: He's the appointment.
Adam: Uh, Rafe, hold on. Uh, Noah is gone.
Rafe: He's gone?
Adam: He-- he's at the hospital visiting his sister. He told me to, uh, pass along his apologies for putting you out, and he wanted me to give you some information.
Rafe: Sure.
Adam: Can you, um, can you give us a second?
Heather: Uh, yeah. Yeah, I'll, uh, I'll just go wait in the library.
Adam: Okay.
Heather: Okay?
Adam: See you in a bit.
Heather: Okay, see you in a bit.
Adam: Thanks.
Heather: Okay.
Adam: You didn't tell her about, uh...
Rafe: No.
Adam: Thank God.
Rafe: I'm not gonna "Out" you, Adam, but at the same time, I have more respect for myself than to continue on in a relationship where I have to lie.
Adam: I know, it's not fair to you.
Rafe: Or Heather.
Adam: Look, she's really been there for me, and I don't know how to break it to her.
Rafe: Well, the longer you wait, the harder this is gonna get.
Adam: I've tried, okay? The words just aren't coming. It's not like I'm exactly happy with the decisions that I've been making lately. It--it's like the walls are closing in, and I don't even know what to do, Rafe.
Rafe: (Sighs) Look, you're under a ton of pressure here. You're trying to rebuild your life, redefine your identity. This has got to be overwhelming for you.
Adam: Nobody gets to me like you do.
Adam: (Sighs) Just be patient, please. It'll just be a few more days, I promise.
Rafe: Okay.
Rafe: (Sighs)
Mary Jane: (Chuckles) Adam may be a bit of a jerk, but he makes a really good sandwich.
Ashley: Zapato, heel!
Zapato: (Barks)
Ashley: Zapato. Zapato, where are you?
Zapato: (Barks)
Ashley: You are such a stinker.
Zapato: (Barks)
Ashley: Zapato, where are you, you naughty dog? What are you doing? There you are. Are you hiding from me? Oh, you stinker dog, get over here.
Ashley: Let's go, Zapato. Come on.
(Cell phone rings)
Victor: (Sighs) Meet me at Crimson Lights now.
Phyllis: Let's not talk about this now. I'm--we really shouldn't be talking about this now, because once you calm down, your feelings are gonna change, or once you talk to Sharon and she's begging you not to leave her, they'll change.
Nick: Sharon understands.
Phyllis: Oh, you already talked to her.
Nick: She knows me. She knows me better than I know myself. She's been making this easier for me.
Phyllis: To leave her?
Nick: To go back to my family where I belong.
Phyllis: I know you, too, and it won't last.
Nick: We are standing in this hospital room where our daughter nearly died. You think that doesn't hit home for me, that--that what a mistake it would have been? Summer could have left this world afraid and--and worried that I didn't love her anymore, and do you have any idea what that would have done to me? I will never, ever, ever forget the way I felt the day this happened and every day since, so whether you believe me or not, I'm gonna be there for her and for you, and that is the only thing that matters.
Phyllis: No, I have to talk to you.
Jack: Okay.
Phyllis: Uh, and by the way, what you said-- I'm not gonna hold you to it.
Sharon: So what did we walk in on just now? Uh, never mind. I-it's none of my business.
Nick: Yes, it is.
Sharon: Oh.
Sharon: Um, you don't have to explain.
Nick: I meant every word I ever said to you.
Sharon: I know. I know you love me.
Nick: You saw what I needed to do before I did.
Sharon: You can't-- you can't abandon your family. You would never forgive yourself.
Nick: Because I did it to you after Cassie.
Sharon: But you're so much stronger now, Nick, and I'm really proud of you.
Sharon: I love you, Nick. (Sniffles) I'll always love you.
Heather: I-I didn't want to believe that Phyllis was hurting Summer, but, I mean, if--if you had heard my witness, she was so convincing.
Adam: But now she disappeared?
Heather: Yes, making me look like a complete idiot. I mean, if I ever get my hands on Mary Jane Benson, I don't even know what I'm gonna do.
Adam: Your witness is Mary Jane Benson?
Heather: Yeah, why? Do you know her?
Adam: Uh, no, but I've-- I've heard the name before.
Heather: Yeah, because she used to work at Jabot with Ashley.
Adam: You think you can track her down?
Heather: No, I've tried. I mean, she hasn't left a trace.
(Knock on door)
Ashley: Excuse me. Hi, Adam. Hi, Heather.
Heather: Hi.
Adam: Ashley, you feeling better?
Ashley: Yeah, I am. Thanks for arranging that ultrasound. Victor's on his way. Just want to give you a heads-up.
Heather: Ah, I appreciate the warning. Mm.
Ashley: See you guys later.
Heather: (Sighs) Okay, so I'm gonna-- I'll give you a call later, okay? And... hi.
Adam: Hi.
Heather: I mean--I mean, not that I'm complaining, but, um, this is becoming a bit of a habit lately. Is there any particular reason?
Adam: I can't help myself. You're so sexy.
Heather: (Giggles)
Heather: I can't wait till you get out of here.
Adam: Me, neither. I need you.
Heather: Bye.
Adam: (Clicks tongue) So Ashley's feeling better, huh? Can't have that now, can we?
Gloria: Thank you.
Jeff: You got something for us?
Victor: Yeah, I've got an assignment for you.
Jeff: What? We're not looking for work.
Victor: But you need money, don't you?
Jeff: Yeah, the money you cheated us out of when you shut down that bank.
Victor: I had no idea that you had invested your piddly amount in that bank. I simply pulled mine out. Now I'll give you a chance to make a large sum.
Jeff: Not interested.
Victor: That's too bad. I thought you might relish the notion of giving the shaft to Jack Abbott.
Gloria: Tell us more, Victor.
Victor: His niece Colleen Carlton is becoming a nuisance on the Newman board of directors, and I don't like it, okay?
Gloria: And what do you want us to do about it?
Victor: I want you to convince the rest of the board that she's too young and too inexperienced.
Gloria: You want her discredited.
Victor: I want her to discredit herself, but no harm comes to her, okay?
Jeff: Look, we haven't agreed--
Gloria: Unh, unh, unh, unh. You got a deal, Victor.
Victor: Good. I always knew you were the sensible one.
Gloria: Mm-hmm.
Victor: (Sighs)
Victor: J.T., I wonder how successful you've been in tracking down my wallet, and secondly, why don't you stop the investigation of Colleen Carlton? I'm taking a step back, see how things unfold, all right?
Rafe: Well, I'm glad to hear that your grandmother's fully recovered.
Colleen: Well, she's back to normal and as independent as ever.
(Chuckles)
Rafe: Well, mission accomplished. It's good to have you back.
Colleen: Wish it was good to be back.
(Sighs)
Rafe: What's the matter?
Colleen: Just people trying to ruin my life. It just pisses me off, you know?
Rafe: Well, I hope you told them where they can go.
Colleen: (Chuckles) Is that what you would have done?
Rafe: No.
Colleen: (Laughs)
Rafe: But it sounds good.
(Chuckles)
Colleen: You know, I miss... I miss this. I like talking like this.
Rafe: How so?
Colleen: It's just everything seems so empty right now, you know? My--my dad's gone. My sister's annoyed at me. My best friend just got married, so...
Rafe: Lonely?
Colleen: Yep.
Rafe: Yeah, I know the feeling.
Colleen: Boy trouble?
Rafe: It's a long story.
Colleen: Oh, I got nothing but time.
(Laughs)
Rafe: (Laughs) Well, all right, but if I'm gonna spill my guts, I'm gonna need something a little bit stronger than coffee.
Colleen: How about Jimmy's?
Rafe: Let's do it.
Colleen: Cool.
Gloria: Sounds like little Colleen's kind of lonely. I think we can make that work for us.
Jeff: I'm surprised you'd want to do something like that to John's granddaughter.
Gloria: Let's just say we're doing her a favor-- getting her away from Victor Newman.
Victor: Ashley? Sweetheart, are you in there? Would you kindly open the door? Sweetheart, I miss you. I don't want you to feel alone.
Phyllis: Thank you. Have you heard from Mary Jane?
Jack: Not since she left town, no.
Phyllis: Okay, well, you knew she was leaving. Did she say where she was going?
Jack: No. Why, do you need her for something?
Phyllis: She's the one who did this to Summer.
Jack: What?
Phyllis: Yes, she is the one who told Heather Stevens it was me. She's the anonymous source.
Jack: No, no, no. That can't be true. What--
Phyllis: Okay, well, then you explain--okay, then you explain to me why-- you explain to me why she was hovering around this hospital after Summer collapsed. Explain to me why she checked out of the--the club so quickly, and why did I find my daughter's picture hidden under her sofa? After Summer got sick, you saw her. Was she acting weird in any way?
Jack: No, not then.
Phyllis: Well, then when? What are you thinking?
Jack: You know, the last time I saw her, she was in a very weird way emotionally-- quite strange.
(Sighs)
Phyllis: My God. She did this to my daughter. (Sighs) My daughter may never have a normal life, and she did this. Where did she come from? Why is she doing this to us?
Gloria: My husband and I have an acting job for you.
Man: Didn't know you were in the business.
Jeff: We're not.
Gloria: Well, actually, it's, uh, just a little practical joke we'd like to play on somebody. No, perfectly harmless. In fact, we're hoping, uh, that she will have the time of her life.
Man: What kind of joke?
Gloria: We have a bet with a friend of ours. He knows this young woman-- very prim, very proper.
Jeff: Uh, on the outside.
Gloria: Exactly. She has our friend completely fooled. He bet us an embarrassing amount of money that she would never do anything unladylike, but I think that given a little coaxing with a handsome young man...
Jeff: We could all make a great deal of money.
Man: How much money are we talking?
Gloria: That all depends.
Man: No, I think I'm gonna pass.
Jeff: Um, you see this ring? It could be yours.
Gloria: Yeah, sure, why not? This ring can be yours if you take the job.
Man: I've just gotta get this girl to cut loose a little bit?
Gloria: (Chuckles) On camera. Otherwise, our friend wouldn't believe it.
Jeff: And it's gotta be tabloid-worthy, which shouldn't be too difficult. The girl loves to party.
Gloria: (Chuckles)
Man: Sure, why not? And that ought to buy me a couple of acting lessons.
Gloria: This will buy you an academy award.
(Laughs)
Jeff: (Laughs) Thanks, Aidan. We appreciate the help.
Gloria: Yeah, more than you know.
Rafe: Come on, you're telling me there's no one you're interested in?
Colleen: (Sighs)
Rafe: Uh-huh, thought so.
Colleen: Well, there was this one guy, but... (Sighs) I blew it, and he moved on.
Rafe: Are you sure?
Colleen: Mm-hmm. He has a wedding ring to prove it, but we're supposed to be talking about you and your pathetic love life.
Rafe: Right. (Chuckles) Well, I broke the first rule of man dating.
Colleen: Which is...?
Rafe: Never fall for a guy who's still in the closet.
Colleen: Oh.
Rafe: Mm-hmm.
Colleen: Yeah.
Rafe: It's just he's going through this really rough time right now-- I mean, even aside from dealing with his sexuality-- and he looks at me with these helpless, puppy dog eyes, and I just forget about all the alarm bells going off in my head, you know?
Colleen: So does "Mr. Puppy dog eyes" have a name?
Victor: There you are.
Ashley: Hi. Was that you who was, uh, knocking on the door earlier?
Victor: Well, I hope I didn't wake you up, my sweetheart.
Ashley: No, actually, I was soaking in the bathtub. It was very nice.
Victor: Were you? I'm so glad you're relaxing. Wasn't it nice to see the picture of our baby on the sonogram?
Ashley: I just feel this intense need to protect her all the time.
Victor: Especially after what happened to Summer.
Ashley: And Sabrina’s baby. There's been so much pain and loss.
Victor: Anyway, let's not focus on that, okay?
Ashley: I'm just tired of closing my eyes...
Victor: (Sighs)
Ashley: And being petrified of what's gonna meet me in the morning.
Victor: Sweetheart, we have so much to look forward to-- our baby, our life together. I know how to make you feel more certain of the future.
Ashley: Really?
Victor: Yes.
Ashley: How are you gonna do that?
Victor: It's very simple. Marry me... tonight.
(Door closes)
Sharon: Um, Nick will be out in a minute. He's just on the phone with his mom. Um, excuse me. It's gonna-- it's all gonna be all right.
Phyllis: Oh, I have a really bad feeling, Sharon.
Sharon: Well, you know what? Um, if the news is bad, then you'll just deal with it. You'll give her everything she needs, and you'll love her, probably even more than you did before. She's lucky to have you as her mom. Our little girls need us, Phyllis.
Nick: The doctor come back yet?
Jack: No, not yet. (Sighs) How you holding up?
Nick: I'm not.
Jack: It's gotta be hell.
Nick: This is impossible. I-I can't do anything. All I do is walk around and--and drink coffee and pray and...
Jack: You gotta get rid of this tension before Summer comes back. If you need to take it out on someone, take a swing at someone, the perfect candidate's here right now.
Nick: You?
Jack: I meant Victor. He could use some sense...
Nick: (Chuckles)
Jack: Knocked into him about now, don't you think?
Nick: (Laughs) H-how do you do that? I mean, I already feel better.
Jack: It's a gift.
Nick: You know, you're gonna be a great father to Sharon's baby.
Phyllis: (Sighs) Um, the doctor has the M.R.I. results.
Dr. Han: You may be disappointed with what I have to tell you.
Nick: Is there some brain damage?
Dr. Han: The M.R.I. did reveal some cerebral lesions. Now from what I'm seeing...
Nick: (Sighs)
Dr. Han: This indicates mild to moderate cognitive impairment. Now that means that I would expect Summer to have some short-term memory loss, verbal deficits, um, problems with language, not being able to understand words she used to know, confusing similar words, using the wrong word. She might, um, have some difficulty with concentration, attention, focus. She also might become easily frustrated.
Phyllis: Is there recovery for this?
Dr. Han: It's best to hope. Especially at Summer's age, the brain has a remarkable ability to be able to regenerate itself, to redistribute functions. In particular, the problems with language should resolve themselves over time.
Phyllis: How much time?
Dr. Han: Typically, we're going to see the most progress in the first six months to a year, but I have seen remarkable progress beyond that time frame. Now I can help you assemble a team, a, uh, speech therapist, a cognitive neuropsychologist...
Phyllis: I'm sorry. I--
Dr. Han: I understand.
Phyllis: (Breathing heavily)
Jack: Hey.
Dr. Han: I'm gonna give you folks some time.
Phyllis: All right. Look at you, brave girl.
Summer: Mama?
Phyllis: Yeah. (Sighs)
Nick: Me, too, Sweetheart.
Phyllis: I'm right here.
(Door closes)
Summer: Da...
Nick: (Sighs) Its okay. I know what you mean.
Phyllis: Yeah, yeah, we know what you mean. Summer, we're gonna help you through this, okay? We're gonna help you through this. Nothing else matters.
Colleen: Do I have to still call him "Puppy dog eyes"?
Rafe: Look, I can't betray his confidence. He's not out yet.
Colleen: Will he ever be?
Rafe: I don't know.
Colleen: (Scoffs)
Rafe: Look, I should probably get going before I get myself into any more trouble, okay?
Colleen: No, co--
Rafe: I got court in the morning.
Colleen: Fine, that whole meaningful existence thing. Fine, be that way. Go.
Rafe: I'll see you later, okay? Come here.
Colleen: (Groans) See you later.
Rafe: Be good.
Colleen: Bye.
Colleen: Hi, excuse me. Yeah, can I get a, um, a lemon drop, please? Thanks.
Aidan: Put that on my tab.
Gloria: I miss my diamond.
Jeff: Well, with the money Victor's gonna give us...
Gloria: (Giggles)
Jeff: I'll buy you a new one. Hell, I'll buy you two new ones, assuming this plan of your works.
Gloria: It'll work.
Jeff: What if Aidan's not Colleen's type?
Gloria: Aidan is every woman's type, and besides, it's been a long dry spell for Colleen, so one little spark is all it'll take to start a raging wildfire.
Jeff: Well, the wilder, the better if we're gonna make Victor happy.
Gloria: I think Victor's going to be very happy.
Ashley: You're not serious.
Victor: I'm not serious? You bet I am.
Ashley: You're not serious. You want to get married tonight?
Victor: Yes. Why not?
Ashley: Oh, I don't know, because your entire family's in chaos maybe?
Victor: Oh, Sweetheart, this is not about my entire family. This is about you and me and about our baby. Don't you think that I was just overwhelmed with happiness when I saw our little baby's picture on the sonogram? I want her to grow up in a protective environment, happy and loved.
Ashley: Mm, I want that, too.
Victor: Well, we can make that happen if you marry me tonight.
Ashley: Okay, I'll marry you.
Victor: (Gasps)
Ashley: (Giggles)
Victor: You make me so happy.
Ashley: No, I don’t. I don't make you happy at all.
Victor: Yes, you do.
Ashley: All you do is worry all the time.
Victor: Don't you worry about that anymore. From now on, we're gonna have a wonderful life together.
Ashley: You're such an optimist.
Victor: (Chuckles) I am?
Ashley: Mm-hmm.
Victor: You are. You called our baby "Hope," and we should be optimists, you know. Amidst all this tragedy, you and I found each other. We found love. That's a miracle.
Ashley: When I'm with you, I feel like there are miracles, you know?
Victor: Then you'd better stay with me.
Ashley: I guess I'd better.
Victor: Mm-hmm.
Ashley: (Gasps)
Victor: What?
Ashley: I'm getting married tonight. I've got so many things to do.
Victor: Just--
Ashley: What am I gonna wear?
Victor: You just relax. I'll take care of everything.
Ashley: Oh, you're gonna get me a dress, too?
Victor: You just look forward to a romantic wedding tonight, that's all.
Mary Jane: Oh, kitty, that horrible mutt. He will not scare you again, I promise, huh? What's the matter?
Adam: No, good news. Victor and Ashley are getting married tonight, and I have... (Blows kiss) The perfect dress for you to wear.
Mary Jane: What, are you crazy? I can't go to Victor's wedding. If he knew I was anywhere near them--
Adam: No, you're going, just not as Mary Jane Benson.
Next on "The Young and the Restless"...
Jeff: Poor little unsuspecting Colleen, about to have her "Good girl" image tarnished.
Lily: I might be pregnant.
Adam: I got one hell of a wedding present for you, Pops. (Grunts) It's gonna blow you away.
