Paul: (Sighs)

Nikki: I see you hated Gina’s lasagna.

Paul: (Chuckles) Well, you're lucky I didn't eat the plate.

Nikki: Mm, so you were banned from the club for, what, a whole 24 hours?

Paul: Well, I did not know, first of all, that Mary Jane was going to cancel the restraining order. Secondly, I could've been outside with my nose pressed against the glass for months.

Nikki: Oh, I would have brought you takeout. Mm.

Paul: Oh, look at that-- true devotion.

Nikki: I'm just glad that woman finally came to her senses.

Paul: Yeah.

Nikki: I mean, look at this face.

Paul: (Chuckles)

Nikki: Who in their right mind would think that you're a stalker?

Paul: It's weird, though, isn't it? The way she backed off so suddenly?

Nikki: Oh, my God, you will not believe who just walked in. Don't look.

Mary Jane: Hi.

Nikki: Hello.

Mary Jane: Y-you can tell me to take a hike if you want.

Paul: (Chuckles) Tempting.

Mary Jane: I-I'd really like to explain.

Paul: Be my guest.

Mary Jane: About, um, three years ago, a man began following me, even at my home. And I would look out my window, and there he was on my sidewalk, and he'd be watching. And he left me these notes, you know, these--these-- these twisted, sick, pathetic ramblings. But what frightened me the most is that he knew personal details of my life. And I assume he got it from my mail. But I felt so violated.

Paul: So, what, couldn't the police help?

Mary Jane: No. There wasn't enough manpower.

Paul: Well, you know, that is the-- the trouble with stalking. It's hard to prove.

Mary Jane: And when you-- you started asking me these questions about my personal things, I-it just... (Sighs) Came flooding in and--and-- and I panicked. I'm sorry.

Rafe: Pardon me for interrupting. Miss Newman, may I have a word with you in private?

Nikki: Uh...

Paul: Sure. Go ahead. I'll--I'll be right here.

Nikki: O-okay. Come on over here.

Rafe: I'm sorry to bother you, but I-I just didn't know where else to turn.

Nikki: No, wh-- what can I do for you?

Rafe: Aunt Estella-- the things that Victor and Ashley are accusing her of are--are totally based on circumstantial evidence.

Nikki: Believe me, I know that.

Rafe: If this were a case in court, I'd rip it to shreds.

Nikki: (Sighs) I-I don't know what I can do to help.

Rafe: She's a wreck. She's not eating. She's not sleeping, and as you know, she's always been the strong one in the family.

Nikki: (Sighs) It's terrible. I-I really sympathize, but I-I really--

Rafe: You know, I've tried reaching out to Victor several times. We've both tried speaking to Ashley. No one will listen.

Nikki: So you want me to intercede?

Rafe: She always spoke very highly of you.

Nikki: And I feel the same way, and trust me, I don't believe for a second that she's responsible for what's going on with Ashley.

Ashley: Adam?

Adam: Uh, I didn't mean to startle you.

Ashley: What do you want?

Adam: To say I'm sorry again for earlier. I'm... (Sighs) I-I was just as shocked as you when I-I turned on my computer and Sabrina's voice...

Adam: You do believe me, don't you? That someone's trying to set me up?

Ashley: I don't know what to believe, Adam. I was positive Estella was doing all these things, but maybe I was wrong.

Adam: Well, you can't possibly think that--

Ashley: Adam, I don't want to talk about it, okay?

Cane: (Sighs)

Lily: Hey.

Cane: (Sighs)

Lily: Are you putting money in, or are you taking it out?

Cane: Putting it in.

Lily: Oh, well, that's a good thing. Hey, you've been so quiet today, and you were restless last night in your sleep, so are you still worried about losing your family and me?

Cane: No, no. After talking to you, I realized how irrational my fear was.

Lily: Well, I think I know what's wrong.

Cane: There's nothing wrong.

Lily: It's Phillip Chancellor.

Cane: Excuse me?

Lily: Well, I mean, it's natural with father's day coming up that you'd be thinking about the father that you never knew.

Cane: Yeah, I suppose. Yeah, that's what it is.

Lily: I mean, I was gonna get a gift for my dad, but it can wait if you want to talk.

Cane: Um, I gotta get the back room ready for this alcohol delivery that's coming in. I haven't got time.

Lily: Okay. Well, later, handsome.

Cane: Bye, baby.

Lily: Bye.

(Telephone rings)

Jill: (Sighs) Hello?

Cane: Hey, Mom, it's me.

Jill: Hi, Sweetie, how are you?

Cane: Oh, I'm all right. Listen, I wanted to talk to you about the, uh, exhuming of Phillip's body.

Jill: That's already in progress.

Cane: (Sighs) How could you let this happen, Mom?

Jill: Cane, we talked about this. We agreed that my grandson needs to know about his father's genetic profile.

Cane: Yeah, yeah, you're right. That's right, because he may have Huntington’s disease. Uh, look, I'm just angry you have to go through this again, that's all.

Jill: Well, how can I refuse? I'm not happy about it, either, but if my grandson's health is at risk--

Cane: Okay. I'm gonna get back to work.

Jill: Yeah, I'll talk to you later.

Cane: Bye, Mom.

Jill: Oh, Phillip, I am so sorry.

Kay: Well, I've been watching the workmen. They're almost finished with the exhumation.

Jill: It happened such a long time ago, but it still hurts so much.

Kay: Well, at least we'll finally know who that young man out there really is.

Jill: Katherine, I know who he is. He's my son. Thanks to you, I raised the wrong child, but I still love Phillip as if I had given birth to him, and I will protect him the same way I protect Cane.

Nina: A mother's love is what we all have in common, and I'm just glad to finally be getting the information that I need.

Jill: (Sighs)

Paul: Well, I'm sorry for dredging up the past.

Mary Jane: No, no. You didn't know.

Paul: So whatever became of this stalker?

Mary Jane: Well, all of this took place when I was working in Europe.

Paul: Is that why you left?

Mary Jane: Yeah, I mean, it felt safer to have an ocean between us.

Paul: Mm-hmm. I can understand why.

Mary Jane: Even then, I still was scared. And I did everything I could to erase my past, you know? Any--anything that this lunatic had access to, which was why I-I changed my social security number and everything that you found that was new.

Paul: So--so why didn't you just tell me that?

Mary Jane: I should have, but I-I really don't like talking about it. I only bring it up when it's absolutely necessary. I-I hope you don't think bad of me.

Paul: No, no, not at all. What bothers me, though, is what brought on this sudden change of heart?

Mary Jane: I realized I overreacted, that you weren't a threat.

Paul: Yeah, but 180 degrees in 24 hours? I mean, that really has me wondering, you know?

Mary Jane: I already explained. Why do you keep pushing it?

Nikki: Paul, um, I'm gonna run out to the ranch and try and talk to Victor about Estella.

Paul: Uh, you want me to go with you?

Nikki: No, no, no, no, no. Baby, you just-- you just stay here and finish your coffee.

Rafe: Ms. Newman, thank you very much. I'm very grateful.

Nikki: Well... (Sighs) You're welcome. I-I'll do what I can, but I can't promise that Victor will listen to me.

Paul: Say hello to him for me, will you?

Nikki: Okay, I will.

Paul: All right.

Rafe: Hey, it was good seeing you.

Paul: All right, so, uh, wh--

Adam: I'm sorry, Ashley. I don't mean to upset you. Um, I guess I just thought we were friends. I mean, when you had that nightmare about Sabrina, didn't I take care of you? You asked me not to call Olivia. I called Dr. Taylor. He came all the way from Boston.

Ashley: I want to be alone, Adam.

Adam: But it--

Ashley: I want to be alone, Adam. I mean it.

Adam: Okay. Okay. I'm going. Just, Ashley, I'm on your side, all right? I always have been, I always will be.

Adam: Who's in here?

Victor: Me.

Adam: Wha-what are you doing in my room?

Victor: Checking out your story.

Ashley: So, Nikki, was Victor expecting you?

Nikki: No. No. Um, I just came by to see how you're doing.

Ashley: Oh, that's so sweet. Thank you. I'm better.

Nikki: Well, I've been worried about you. I mean, you were so upset the morning after that storm.

Ashley: I know. I was afraid something had happened to the baby, but thank God, everything's okay.

Nikki: Now that doctor who showed up-- what's his name again?

Ashley: Dr. Taylor. He's terrific. Even Olivia thinks so.

Nikki: Oh, really?

Ashley: Yeah.

Nikki: I thought you and Olivia had a falling-out.

Ashley: Well, we're okay. And she is just fine with Dr. Taylor being my new ob-gyn.

Nikki: Well, that's great. I'm glad to hear that.

Ashley: Yeah.

Nikki: Um, I also wanted to talk to you about something else.

Ashley: What?

Nikki: Estella.

Ashley: (Sighs) I don't really think I want to get into that right now, Nikki.

Nikki: Oh, please, Ashley. I-I know. I know there's been a lot of drama going on, and she got caught up in the middle of it.

Ashley: Well, she probably caused the drama, that's why.

Nikki: No, she didn’t. She is sick about everything that's happened.

Ashley: So you're here because you want us to bring her back?

Nikki: I know that you think she doesn't like you.

Ashley: No, I don't think it. I know it. I know it. She got along great with you. She apparently adored Sabrina. She doesn't like me.

Nikki: Well, that is not the reason why she was terminated. That actually happened because she was accused of scaring you with Sabrina's voice on that tape and setting you up to wear the same outfit Sabrina wore the night of the crash.

Ashley: What about the evidence we found? The tape recorder in Estella’s jacket?

Nikki: Evidence can be planted.

Ashley: Why are you so sure that she's not guilty?

Nikki: Because I know her. She is just not capable of such deception.

Ashley: And what do you want from me?

Nikki: I want you to consider the possibility that somebody else is doing this.

Ashley: I've been so certain that Estella has done all these things... until yesterday.

Nikki: What happened yesterday?

Ashley: I heard Sabrina's voice again, and Victor heard it, too. It came from Adam's room.

Nikki: Oh, my God, I knew it. (Stomps foot) I knew it. I knew that little weasel had something to do with this.

Adam: Please, don't go through my computer.

Victor: I'm not quite finished yet.

Adam: You know, you don't have any business snooping around like this.

Victor: Really? Must I remind you that you are under house arrest?

Adam: What, so I'm, uh, I'm your--your prisoner then?

Victor: Unless you forget, you were released into my custody.

Adam: Does that mean I don't have any right to privacy?

(Computer keys clicking)

Victor: You forfeited that right when you forged the diary and tried to frame me for murder. (Computer keys clicking) By the way, why do you always keep your door locked?

Adam: Since Estella left, there's--there's all sorts of new staff working here. I don't want them coming in, rearranging the furniture. I might trip and fall.

Victor: The staff wouldn't rearrange your furniture. Give me a break.

Adam: Look, Noah and Abby have friends over. I don't want them barging in when I have Heather in here.

Victor: From now on, you keep the damn door unlocked, clear?

Adam: I-I can't live like this. I won't be bullied and treated like a child, all right? If you don't trust me, I'll call Heather. We'll have the judge send me back to prison.

Cane: (Whispering) Langley, where the hell are you? You have not returned my calls, and we have a big problem here, and I'm freaking out.

Lily: Hey. Did something happen?

Cane: No, no, no. Uh, I-it's just-- they're exhuming Phillip III's body today. That's it.

Lily: Oh. So your mom wasn't able to talk Nina out of it?

Cane: No, and, uh, you know, it was shocking enough for her to learn that she wasn't Katherine's daughter. I don't want to put her through this.

Lily: You're not just worried about your mom, are you? There's something that you're not telling me.

Jill: You're awfully nonchalant about this.

Nina: Excuse me?

Jill: Disturbing Phillip's final resting place is tearing my heart out.

Nina: For your information, I didn't sleep at all last night. I couldn't help thinking about the man I married, the man who will always be Phillip Chancellor. With all his flaws and demons, he was the love of my life.

Jill: (Scoffs) I'll bet you said that to all your husbands.

Kay: Jill, that is so uncall--

Nina: Just because I remarried doesn't mean I replaced Phillip like you did with Cane.

Jill: No, she's the one who replaced Phillip with Cane.

Kay: Stop it, both of you! Now have we learned nothing from that young man out there? My God, can we not stop destroying one another?

Nina: I'm getting out of here.

Kay: I-I-I realize how upsetting this is. But... (Sighs) We're doing it for your grandson, and we are doing it out of love.

Jill: I know.

Kay: Right now, that young man needs all of us working together to help him...

Jill: (Sighs)

Kay: His mother, his grandmother and his great-grandmother.

Jill: He is not your great-grandson.

Kay: Oh, he is, and he always will be.

Jill: No, he will not, Katherine.

Kay: (Scoffs)

Jill: You gave up that right when you switched him with Cane. You have changed the course of so many people's lives.

Kay: And I'm not sure we know the whole story about this, Jill.

Kay: Paul Williams is looking into details about the baby switch.

Jill: Oh, and I wonder who put him up to that. Nina is such a troublemaker.

Kay: Well, he's found some discrepancies.

Jill: What discrepancies?

Kay: Well, uh, the woman that I gave your biological son to-- Violet Montgomery-- she wasn't even in Genoa City when I handed that child over.

Jill: Where was she?

Kay: In Arizona, in a hospital fighting for her life.

Jill: Well, that would certainly alleviate your guilt, wouldn't it? If you could find a scenario in which you did not give my son away.

Kay: (Hits table) I'm stating the facts, Jill.

Jill: (Sighs) I thought you cared about Cane.

Kay: I do! But this is certainly not his fault. He was just a baby, for God sakes, when it happened. But admit it, Jill. Admit it.

Jill: Admit what?

Kay: We were so relieved to find out that Cane was your son... (Stammers) Maybe Nina is asking questions that we should have asked.

Lily: Cane, when we got married, we promised that we'd always be honest with each other, remember?

Cane: Of course I remember.

Lily: Right, because it was Chloe and Billy's lies that tore us apart.

Cane: I know. I know that. I lived through that.

Lily: So you trust me, don't you?

Cane: You know I trust you.

Lily: Okay, then tell me, what is bothering you about this exhumation besides the effect that it will have on your mother?

Cane: I'm scared.

Lily: Honey, of what?

Cane: When I came into Jill and Katherine's life, I was claiming to be Phillip the III.

Lily: Okay, so are--are you doubting their love for you?

Cane: No, no. I know they love me. I love them. And they've given me what I never thought I would have, and that is a real, honest-to-God family.

Lily: Okay, then, Honey, what's the problem?

Cane: The problem is, every time I hear them talk about that man in the grave, a little bit of me dies 'cause I know how they feel about me, but I will never, in their hearts, compare to the real Phillip.

Paul: So they're disinterring him now?

Nina: Yeah, that's the only way we can find out if my son carries the genetic marker for Huntington’s disease.

Paul: Is there anything I can do?

Nina: Arrange it so I can be there when the casket's opened.

Paul: Why would you want to do that?

Nina: I found out something about the doctor who was responsible for Phillip's original autopsy.

Paul: What?

Nina: He falsified forensic evidence on an unrelated case, but he disappeared before they could bring him to trial.

Paul: No kidding?

Nina: I want to be there, all right? I don't trust any of these people.

Paul: Okay, well, let me, uh, let me see what I can do. I'll--I'll--I'll call a-a cop friend of mine, okay?

Nina: I'm--I'm not just doing this for my son.

Paul: What do you mean?

Nina: I've secretly ordered a mitochondrial D.N.A. test on the remains.

Paul: Why?

Nina: Because if this is really Jill's son, Cane Ashby will be exposed for the fraud that I know he is.

Victor: So you're ready to return to prison, are you?

Adam: You don't believe anything I say, do you?

Victor: You've been lying to me ever since you stepped foot in this town.

Adam: Look, not anymore, okay? Not when it comes to Ashley. She and I are friends.

Victor: Well, now, then you have nothing to worry about, do you? Hmm? I will go to any lengths-- any lengths to protect her and the baby, you got that? And if you don't like that, Adam, you can make true on your threat to go back to prison. As a matter of fact, I have an idea. Why don't we call Heather right now? You can tell her that you're longing to return to the cell.

Adam: (Sighs)

Victor: I didn't think so.

Victor: There's a Dr. Donahue who's another leading expert in retinitis pigmentosa. He'll come and take a look at you.

Adam: No, okay? No. No. No way. I-I've been poked and prodded enough.

Victor: I've bought an entire research company to make sure that you have a spot in the ongoing trial with the stem cell therapy.

Adam: Well, then you wasted your money.

Victor: I'm trying to help you!

Adam: Look, I've already been told that my disease is incurable.

Victor: There are breakthroughs in medicine every day.

Adam: I won't do it.

Victor: Not even if there's the slightest chance that you might regain your sight?

Adam: Look, do you--do you know what kind of torture it is to be given this false hope, then to--to have it snatched away? I-I can't go through that again.

Victor: What kind of a game are you playing with me? Huh? The doctor will see you.

Victor: Be careful, boy.

Adam: (Sighs)

Ashley: Adam swears he was set up.

Nikki: Yeah, just like he swore that Victor wrote that diary and left it here. Surely, it's crossed your mind that Adam could be the one doing these things.

Ashley: He's been incredibly supportive, though. I mean it--really helpful, every single day. Hi.

Nikki: Hey.

Victor: What brings you by?

Nikki: I'm here on Estella’s behalf, and considering what Ashley just told me, my timing couldn't be better.

Victor: Why would you involve yourself with this?

Nikki: Well, someone has to defend her, and we've known her for years. Has she ever been anything but trustworthy and honest and kind?

Victor: What's your point?

Nikki: We can't say the same for Adam.

Paul: No, I know. I really appreciate it. Okay. Just keep thinking the third baseline. Okay. Bye. It's all set.

(Sighs)

Nina: Thank you.

Paul: This isn't gonna be a pleasant sight.

Nina: It's okay. I can handle it.

Paul: I'll go with you.

Nina: As soon as we have the mitochondrial D.N.A. sample from the... remains, we can test it against the D.N.A. in Jill's toothbrush.

Paul: (Laughs) You know, it's a good thing I'm a P.I. and not a cop, because this isn't exactly legal.

Nina: (Chuckles) You're the only one that could make me smile when I'm about to do something so gruesome.

Paul: So... (Sighs) Do you really believe that-- that Cane is lying about being Jill's son?

Nina: Well, you're the one that told me that Violet couldn't possibly have taken baby Phillip from Katherine.

Paul: Well, unless she astral projected, she was lying in a hospital bed 1,500 miles away.

Nina: Besides, Cane's story is so far-fetched.

Paul: But there still could be an explanation.

Nina: Yeah, he's conning everyone.

Paul: And you're basing all this on what? He hasn't really tried to cash in on the Chancellor wealth. He's been very devoted to Jill and Katherine.

Nina: Unless it's all an act.

Paul: He married a woman he didn't love so he could-- he could give a baby a father.

Nina: (Scoffs) So?

Paul: Well, would someone who's just after the cash and the Chancellor name do something like that?

Nina: Well, we'll find out, won't we?

Paul: And he just married Lily. Lily is a very good judge of character. He's got Neil’s support. Nina, I really think he's one of the good guys.

Nina: Well, if that's true, no harm, no foul, right? Cane and Jill go on about their lives, and only you and I need to know about that test.

Paul: Believe me, I know what it's like to have a nagging question you can't shake.

Mary Jane: Thank you.

Cane: Sure.

Cane: (Sighs)

Lily: Cane, listen. Once they get the info they need, they will grieve some more, then they will lay Phillip's body to rest, and they will go on with their lives.

Cane: I hope so.

Lily: And listen, speaking of families, I know that you hate talking about your past.

Cane: Then why do you keep bringing it up?

Lily: Because I want you to know it's okay. And when the time is right, I am sure that you will confide in me, but as for right now, the future is what matters.

Cane: (Sighs)

Lily: Listen, I got something for you when I went shopping.

Cane: What'd you get for me?

Lily: Well, open it and find out.

Cane: It's not even my birthday.

Lily: It's a father's day gift.

Cane: Does that mean--

Lily: No, no, no, no, no. Not yet. But finger's crossed, we will get pregnant soon.

(Laughs)

Cane: Aw, you got baseball mitts.

Lily: Yeah, so you can toss a ball around with our son or daughter.

Cane: Thank you. Thank you, baby.

Lily: You're welcome.

Victor: For your information, I took no pleasure in dismissing Estella, okay?

Nikki: Anyone in this house could have done these things.

Victor: By "Anyone," you mean Adam?

Nikki: I wouldn't put it past him.

Ashley: We're not mentioning the fact that he's blind, and what about the ankle monitor he wears?

Nikki: Maybe he has an accomplice.

Victor: I'm looking into it.

Nikki: Good, because if you don't at least consider the fact that it could be Adam, you're as blind as he is.

Adam: "Retinitis pigmentosa."

Adam: (Sighs) How the hell am I gonna fool this guy?

Adam: Hey, it's Adam. Relax, this isn't about Ashley. Listen, I need the, uh, botulinum toxin, fresh syringes, and that eye-numbing drug. Hey, hey, hey. Look, no lectures, Taylor. Just do it... now.

(Sighs)

Mary Jane: (Sighs)

(Cell phone rings)

Cane: That's my mom.

Lily: Well, here, you talk to her, and I'll handle the liquor delivery, okay?

Cane: Thanks, baby. Hey, Mom.

Jill: Hi, Sweetie. Uh, look, I'm sorry to bother you. (Clears throat) I was just wondering if you could get a hold of your uncle in Australia.

Cane: Um, wh-why? Why?

Jill: It's just new evidence has come to light about Violet Montgomery.

Cane: Ex-excuse me?

Jill: Apparently, she was in a hospital in Phoenix on the night that Katherine did the baby switch in Genoa City.

Cane: Are you sure about this, Mom?

Jill: Darling, look, don't worry. We're gonna work this out, okay? It just might help if you could locate your uncle.

Cane: Okay. All right. Um, I will--I will, uh, I will call him right now. Thanks. Bye.

Mary Jane: Bad news?

Cane: What? I'm sorry.

Mary Jane: Your phone call.

Cane: It was, um, catastrophic news.

Mary Jane: Mm. Anything I can do?

Cane: Can you wind back the clock a couple of years?

Mary Jane: I know advice is usually coming from that side of the bar, but don't give up.

Cane: You a shrink?

Mary Jane: Sometimes when things seem really bad, life surprises you and gives you a second chance.

Cane: And what if life gives you that second chance, only now, it takes it away? And all of a sudden, those deep, dark secrets you have, they come back, and they start to haunt you?

Mary Jane: Well, then you have a choice. You can either run and give up, or you can stay and fight for what you want.

Cane: And what would you do?

Mary Jane: I'm a fighter. Nothing's gonna stand in the way of my dreams.

Paul: You okay?

Nina: Yeah. It just brings back the worst day of my life.

Paul: I know it does.

Nina: You know, most of that day was a blur, but I will never forget when they lowered him into the ground.

Man: Thank you for waiting. Are you ready?

Paul: Um, you know, it's not too late to back out.

Nina: No, we've come this far. Please go ahead and open it.

Adam: 8-6-0-5-2-7. Uh, that was the tracking number they gave me. Look, it was supposed to be delivered overnight. Can you check?

(Truck approaches)

Adam: Never mind. It looks like it just arrived.

(Doorbell rings)

Nikki: Oh, that must be Estella. I asked her to stop by.

Victor: If that is Estella, I hope you didn't promise her too much. We still don't know she wasn't involved.

Nikki: Victor--

Ashley: Now wait a second. You just went ahead and told Estella to come by without talking to us first?

Nikki: I just said that you two would be willing to listen to her side of it, that's all.

Victor: It's addressed to Ashley Abbott.

Ashley: Who's it from?

Victor: Jane Smith.

Ashley: I don't know a Jane Smith.

Ashley: Hmm. Oh, my God.

Nikki: (Gasps) Oh, my God!

Kay: Hmm. Taking a stroll down memory lane?

Jill: It's his birthday, you know.

Kay: Yes, of course I do. He was my husband.

Jill: (Scoffs) But he wanted to be mine, and you took him away from me and my son.

(Baby crying)

Jill: If it weren't for you, my child wouldn't be lying here dead. (Sobs) This is your fault. It's always been your fault. First, the father... (Sobs) And now the son. (Sobs)

Kay: You know, you, um, you talk about how Phillip is your son, blood or not. Then tell me, why can you not believe I still love you as a mother?

Jill: How can you say you love me when you took everything away from me?

Lily: So the driver put everything in the stockroom.

Cane: Thank you.

Lily: And I'm gonna go home and take Humphrey for a walk before he chews up the place.

Cane: Okay.

Lily: And maybe you should take a break soon, too, so we can work on our favorite project, okay? Bye.

Cane: Come here.

Lily: (Chuckles) Wow, what was that for?

Cane: Because I love you, and you are the best thing that's ever happened to me, and I want you to always remember that.

Lily: Okay. Bye.

Cane: Bye.

(Keypad beeps)

Cane: (Sighs)

Paul: Um, you-- you know, Nina, I could do this for you.

Nina: No, Paul, I have to do this, for both Phillips. Let's go. Go. (Gasps) (Screams)

Nina: (Gasps)

[The grave is empty]

Next on "The Young and the Restless"...

Victor: I want this torment to end today.

Adam: And so it begins.

Nina: Jill--

Jill: I will not let you put him through that again.

Nina: Either you get Cane to take another test, or I will.

Ashley: You really feel its Adam?

Nikki: I absolutely do.
